23. Do you listen to music or watch shows while you work? If so, what’s your favourite?
25. Based on your recent reference searches, what would the FBI assume about you?
23. I like listening to music sometimes when I need to get in a certain atmosphere but I am far more focused when having a show in the background! I like watching comfort shows like atla or Shera, but right now I am rewatching Hannibal while drawing :)
24. Probably that I look at naked people way too much. The amount of half-naked men I have saved these days for James is the cause. Also that I'm into goth fashion a bit too much!!

com·fort /ˈkəmfərt/
a state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint.
These people are the reason why I started vlogging. For the same reason that I take photos and keep gifts from folks I care about, I also make videos so that I may look back on those times and experience the same feelings of nostalgia and embarrassment that I had when they happened.
Whenever I need to give myself a break. When I feel like everything is too much and I can't handle what's going on in the real world. When I feel like life isn't going the way I want it to. When I need to feel better, I look up their names on YouTube and watch their videos.
Bestdressed
My girl Ashley quit uploading videos but I still watch her vlogs because I literally adore her content, what she talks about and how she feels she's really successful now even though she stopped vlogging. I initially knew her from a clothes to wear video.
youtube
Dustin Vuong
Love the vibe of his vlogs and him of course dustin and linh gives me the same vibe probably because they're friends this is the first video of him that I got to watch I was so obsessed with this song before and his voice soothes me that's why I immediately subscribed no regrets because his videos are top tier.
youtube
Ciara Gan
Just like the first 2 YouTuber Ciara gan is also artistic, ball of sunshine and smart I found her when I like to watch college decision videos then I saw her vlog on how she passed cets then after that I forgot about her but I also found her again due to this video about following Rapunzel's daily routine and that's where I start to love her even more.
youtube
Notangel
A queen! I love how she see things how she thinks and her contents makes me want to do a film reaction video her podcast are great too this is the video where I found her because at that time I like to watch videos about forcing a glow up.
youtube
Nisa Nuggets
HER HUMOR IS IMMACULATE! She's giving a huge Pamela Swing vibes this video this is where everything started her family and friends are awesome she's also one of the biggest reason why I continued vlogging.
youtube
Love Marie Escudero
I don't relate that much on her vlog but as a girl who grew up watching barbie and wants to dress myself up her vlogs are the best way to fulfill my childhood dreams I also like her videos with her husband their mind is just awesome I get to learn a lot of new things because of them.
Mimiyuuuh
The og the one and only dalagang Pilipina! Super duper loves her! Whenever I watch mimiyuuuh's new videos I feel like i'm just talking to my friend like i'm on a video call with them and we are catching up.
Oliver Austria
As a little teenage girl with a big dream! his videos are the best it gave me more reason to pursue my dream to become a professional architect.
Ashley Garcia
Along with jeorella, that'sbella, alliana dolina, rei germar, julianna g and kaila dy their vlogs are the best I would like to be part of their circle my favorite women love their styles and editing skills are the best they deserve everything that they have right now.
youtube
Ella's Pov
Of course! Me! vlogging is like a diary. Think about Peter Parker and his video diary or the Kardashians. It's great to reminisce with videos, not just the memory in your mind. I would willingly sacrifice my phone storage just for these videos.
It's great to have an outlet whenever everything doesn't feel right. It's great to have something that you can do to make yourself feel better . I hope that these vloggers can also make you feel better as much as they do for me.
Life is tough but we are tougher. Give yourself what it is asking for, get some rest, eat foods you like, watch that tv show, go out with friends, do some self care, check out that item on your cart, read that book, and whatsoever. Do things that will make yourself happy.
Take your time, don't rush yourself. A message from me to you. (Can also be from my past self to my future self) When things get tough just watch their videos then right after that you can think of a solution.
Here is a short video of how my November went exclusively just for you! Let's all have fun and take back the things that the pandemic took away from us. Create memories and choices that your future self will thank you.
watching dustin vuong's recent vid & bye why do i put more effort into my social media & outfits (how i'm perceived) than cultivating relationships w ppl... cuz at the end of the day none of that shit matters & just reveals a fragile self esteem
Before Sunrise. I’ve been thinking about love and what it actually is. I’ve yet to experience my fair share of it, but I’ve experienced enough to know that I still see love through glasses of naive and unrealistically romantic scenarios.
Communication, conflicts, getting to know another person enough to feel such an abundance of affection and care, the awkward silences- and then she’ll like him and he likes her, they made a pact to stay together for as long as they are capable. That’s my brief view on love. It probably isn’t like that eh?
The idea of love and intimacy has always scared me, I’ve only seen it flee through moments of my childhood. Rarely seen the good sides of love, well, if there is one. Then again, I know there is one , but how ever-so-foreign it is to think about it. I wonder how much of that impacted how I see the world, how I see myself, how I judge people, and how I form connections.
Dustin Vuong ( one of my favorite youtubers ) said as he grew older he realized that love doesn’t have to perfect, and it is imperfect. You’re not going to get your first kiss in a ferris wheel looking over a sunset in Vienna, and life’s not quite similar to a Greta Gerwig movie.
When I was little, I’ve always thought of love to be this conquering force, something that could break boundaries and fight evil. Even though my parents divorced, a part of me loved fairy tales. And I held it in my palm for as long as I can, like a token of hope, I didn’t want to see love as the version of it in which I’ve grown too familiar with. In Before Sunrise, I see a clear distinction between Jesse and Celine, I resonated a lot with Celine’s character, its as if she embodies the best parts of me or at least the kind of person I strive to become. On the other hand, there’s Jesse, a character who stands as a realist next to Celine’s sentimental traits.
In a scene where Celine asked him, “Have you ever been in love?” he tried to dodge it away, a question he probably wasn’t so prepared for. He then answered “Love is a complex issue you know? I mean, it’s like, yes- I’ve told somebody that I love them before, and I’ve meant it. But was it totally unselfish, giving love? Was it a beautiful thing? Not really. You know, It’s like, love ... I mean, I don’t know, you know?” in that scene I thought he was just another guy who didn’t like to talk about all the mushy stuff. Only a few minutes after, he told Celine that his parents separated, and overheard some spiteful comments from his father about him being born.
It’s as if he was the part of me that I’ve tried so hard to avoid, I don’t want to think that way about love, but deep down, I do.
hey friends! so i was talking about asian representation in media in another post, so here are some asian youtubers i could binge for a week straight
ashley (bestdressed): she makes fashion vids and also has a lot of really great life advice. she has a lot of big sister energy
haley pham: she used to be a dancer, and she now makes a lot of lifestyle vids and vlogs, and she focuses a lot on self growth and is getting married soon!
dustin vuong: his videos feel like a coming of age movie (as described by multiple comments on his vids, and i agree). his camera work and editing has such a beautiful aesthetic and i rly want to be his friend lol
jazzy le: she makes fashion, lifestyle, and vlog-type videos. watching her videos makes me feel like i’m having a chat with my big sister
stephen flores (InReelLife): lots and lots of musical theatre content and skits!
Dr. Bernard Hsu (Chubbyemu): he’s a doctor who specializes in toxicology and explains a lot of odd cases in an easy-to-understand format and makes medicine really interesting!
reflection: felt like a bit of the calm before the storm, knowing that training week starts tomorrow. i'm honestly extremely nervous about doing a full 9-5 (10-6) day every single working day while also trying to handle dance classes and other responsibilities. but you know what? one day at a time.
I'd like to thank lofi girl for helping me get through the beginning of the school year, especially dragging me through World Studies Honors homework :)
