DPxDC fic idea: The Infinite Realms Hobby Store
Danny Fenton drops out of school on his sister's recommendation to aim for a GED. Then two weeks after he does receive his high school equivalence document, Danny and his sister Jasmine pack up and move to Gotham, where they promptly open their own business. A small hobby store that's during rather well for itself, especially with offered classes to learn said hobbies.
The instructors of the classes are all a rather colorful bunch that don't seem from Gotham but aren't bad like outsiders usually are.
The siblings continue their education through online courses and attend Gotham University. Jasmine studying psychology and Danny studying engineering.
They don't seem like up-and-coming villains who may be behind the strange changes in the city. Nothing terrible has happened so far but that's just it. Nothing has happened, and if that doesn't make every citizen's skin crawl, nothing else will.
It's like the core of Gotham is breaking away, and no one knows what it is or if it's a good thing.
Tim Drake, disguised as Alvin Draper, signed up for the offered Photography class to prove they were and stop them before it's too late.
Danny and Jazz are aware there is something strange about Alvin Draper.
Still, they have thier hands tied, prepping Danny to take the Ghost Throne, keeping up with college, trying to fix a crumbled relationship with their parents after the Big Reveal, and keeping all of Danny's ex-Rouges satisfying their obsessions by having them express it through a hobby.
Ember teaches guitar on Mondays.
Technus does coding an hour before her.
Lunch lady has a cooking lesson on Tuesday.
Poindexter does miniature models on Wednesdays.
Kitty got Photography and modeling on Thursdays.
Johnny, who is never too far away from her, runs his crocheting class at the same time.
And Ghost Writer does creative writing on Fridays.
Saturdays is a surprise course by whichever ghost is free that week, and Sundays they are closed.
They just can't find the time or energy to figure out that guy's deal. Best to leave Alvin alone.
They hope to stay out of Batman's radar long enough to break all the curses Gotham is dosed in. It's one of Danny's first real jobs as Ghost King, so he's trying his best, but come on, this place is a mess.
Not to mention the people generally seemed unhappy to have the curses gone. Apparently it doesn't feel right or something.
(Johnny insists Alvin is just a bisexual disaster who has a crush on both of them but Johnny is also a bisexual disaster so the Fenton siblings don't listen to him.)

tbh, I agree very much with what that blog said -- amir talai said "him being aroace is not explicitly known" which is true. the word "aro" hasn't been said explicitly in the way "ace" has. it's been stated as word of god and discussed and hinted, but it's not been said BY any character/s (yet 👀👀👀)
I think a VA of the character saying "my way of reading things is if it's in the script it's explicit, and if it's not, it's not" makes a lot of sense. that being said, it's not to say it won't be made explicit down the line, in the way "ace in the hole" was a way of making the aceness a Statement That This Is The Character
amir talai strikes me as the kind of guy who's been consistently very deliberate in only discussing what's on the page about his character, so not wanting to discuss his being aroace until/if it's on the page is very fair -- with "ace in the hole" he did also speak about how that was a way of making something explicit, while still being true to the character not knowing the terminology or the identity. until that moment, "ace" was not explicit either
(I don't btw personally totally agree on reading characters this way, considering the long history of queercoding being that one Couldn't make something explicit + that's still a very deliberate method of writing show-don't-tell today, But that's coming from my side as someone who's well-versed in that history, rather than a "I am the random person voicing a character and I do what's on the page in front of me, because that is my job and I talk about what is on the page in front of me" -- but he's clearly also trying to learn, which is awesome)
also he DID do some learning/hyping on aro-identity during this week of aro awareness, so it's also nice that he definitely understands that ace and aro aren't interchangeable and is putting in that work to open his horizons on that front

I totally agree with what the post said. Alastor got 1000% confirmed as ace by that joke and personally I also think that it included him being aromantic. A lot of people still think that ace and aro go hand in hand the same way that they assume that (for example) bisexual and biromantic go hand in hand (which they don't but a lot of people think that) so maybe the writers are part of that group. Also, like the other blog said, Rosie said the "ace in the hole" joke in relation to him dating Charlie and it basically went "she's too young for you lololol jkjk ik you're ace" (which doesn't stop people from being in an alloromantic relationship, people just think aro and ace means the same thing) so I do think they included aro into that scene. However aro actually being in the script is only my own interpretation so I get it if people think otherwise.
I completely support your point about stating things explicitly and queer coding. I think Alastor is extremely aro-coded apart from the fact that his VA didn't actually un-confirm it - he just said that it's not explicitly in the script. Personally, it's super duper implied that Alastor is aromantic but again, I get it if people don't see it. So yeah, despite what anybody says, as long as Alastor isn't confirmed to be not-aromantic I'll headcanon him on the arospec
Also, even if Alastor turned out to be not-aro, I don't think anything would change because about 95% of this fandom doesn't give a shit about aros or aces and just continued erasing Alastors aroace identity that we thought he had at that point so yeah.

Stardew Valley Random Harvey Headcanons
Its beginning to look a lot like I’ve fallen for the dorky doctor. How long does it take for me to have a thing for the holy trinity of dilfs (give me another week) enjoy!

-Harvey was not a very popular person in school. He always rocked his dorky glasses and even had braces back then. His fascination for aeroplanes didn’t make him any more likeable amongst his peers. Poor baby, but it made him have an even better personality (and looks, that stache is exquisit)
-Harvey’s social life began to get better in college when he got rid of his braces and was amongst (relatively) like-minded people. He was still one of the quieter, reserved students there, but he still got invited to some hangouts and found friends
-He had his first kiss with another man at one of the college parties. It was during a “spin the bottle” type game. A lot of alcohol was involved, otherwise Harvey wouldn’t have participated in something so promiscuous (he’s shy and well…hadn’t had his first kiss till he was 20, he isn’t exactly flirty)
-The kiss was meant to be for shits and giggles and of course Harvey was well aware of that…but no one knew that it a.) was his first kiss and b.) would awaken a gay/bisexual panic within him. Harvey had a weird crush on that random guy for 5 weeks after that lmfao
-Harvey is a demiromantic/sexual king 👑 that’s why he hasn’t dated a lot in his life. It’s not that he didn’t want a partner, he just hadn’t found many that he shared a strong platonic bond with in order to build a romantic relationship around it. There was one more serious relationship in between the failed dating attempts, but the love of his life is the farmer
-He is highly intelligent. We all know that he isn’t stupid, the man is a doctor, but he has an above-average IQ which also isolated him further from peers as a kid. He had a deeper understanding of his surroundings which his peers lacked at that age, so he never found common ground with them. Maybe one of the reasons why he’s still a bit socially awkward at times
-Maru reminds him of himself in a way and that’s why he developed a mild crush on her. He feels understood by her, though their personalities aren’t exactly alike, but her fascination for science and the desire to learn more about it makes him feel validated in his love for his own hobby.
-Harvey is a closet perv😮💨 yeah that’s right, the socially awkward mess of a doctor isn’t himself when he’s with a partner. He loves to whisper risky remarks to them and has a weakness for heavy make-out sessions. He isn’t like that when he is partner-less, but once his demisexuality lets him develop feelings for someone else, oooohh brother…he’s in it deep (if you let him, sure )
-Harvey has always been curious about gay sex. He has never dated a man before, though he would have loved to, so it peaked his interest in those moments where he was alone with himself, feeling a bit lonely and in the mood. He knows that watching porn isn’t exactly healthy for the brain, but he couldn’t resist to at least search up erotic audio recordings of men guiding him through his solo-sessions every once in a while

the second they made buck bi i watched the whole show for the first time, took a week, finished just before the latest episode came out. this obviously means i do not know my first thing about anything, most theories and fanon storylines included. what is the most important stuff that i need to know? the more deranged and delusional the better 🌸

Full disclosure, I've only started watching 911 since season 6, so there are years of fandom lore/drama that I'm not even aware of. I really recommend checking out blogs such as @captain-hen @gracieryder @maygrcnt who have been around here MUCH longer (I'll tag more people in the morning) & follow @911bts who keeps track of literally EVERYTHING 911.
Okay, 911blr 101 is couch theory. What is couch theory you ask? well, it all starts at the beginning of S6 when Buck's couch (or lack there of) was used as a metaphor for Buck's romantic relationships. In S5, when Taylor moved into Buck's apartment replaced Buck's couch (that he got with Ali) with her own. When Buck and Taylor broke up, she took the couch with her, leaving Buck couchless. The connection between girlfriends and couches first comes up during a conversation with Buck, Eddie, and Christopher. Buck's struggle to find the 'perfect' couch reflects Buck's struggle to find the perfect person to partner up with. At the end of the episode, Buck decides to move his armchair where the couch used to be, signifying that he is trying to become comfortable with himself outside of a relationship.
Then we get to the start of S6b. Buck's parents come to town, Buck gets struck by lightning (as one does), and his parents buy him a new couch. There is probably some metaphor there about family and blah blah blah, but that doesn't matter because the couch is uncomfortable and Buck can't sleep on it and everyone keeps bothering him, and who does Buck run to? He runs to Eddie. And then he falls asleep on Eddie's couch.
and like this is a big fucking deal. because it shows that he is comfortable with Eddie! he feels safe in Eddie's home! he is more safe and comfortable on Eddie's couch than he is on his own and Eddie welcomes him there!! and couch = romantic relationship, so falling asleep on eddie's couch = relationship with Eddie???? There is another scene in S6 where Christopher falls asleep on the couch and people are like!! we are connecting the dots! (we were not connecting the dots)
and then!!!! the Kameron gives birth on Buck's couch and the couch is ruined and then y'all never guess what happens. In one of the last scenes of s6 Buck asks his brand new love interest Natalia if she wants to go couch-shopping and everyone is like WTF???? aren't we past this?? didn't we just have this conversation about NOT buying a couch with ur gf at the beginning of this season???
uhhh this explanation was NOT supposed to get this long. okay, let's speedrun this shit. The Christmas Elf!! Very important!! OG Buddie Queen!! HI okay so i finally watched the new ted lasso episode and i’m. holy shit. i have so many thoughts.
- COLIN! MY LOVE! most of my thoughts revolve around him tbh,, i am so fucking thrilled that he’s finally getting his gay storyline. while some parts of it are being handled… questionably, it’s still such a good feeling to have thought a character is queer for so long and then get it confirmed. i’ve always loved colin but god my love for him has just skyrocketed,,, there were so many things that just make me so sad for him, from the hiding his face with sunglasses, to having to laugh off jokes about being gay, to the whole chameleon bit, to his mantra, to him having to introduce his boyfriend as his wingman….. it’s all devastating and i want nothing more than for him to be able to be out and be loved and accepted by everyone. someone please give this boy a hug.
- speaking of boys who need hugs….. jamie 🥺my forever love…. he was so good this episode and i just felt so bad for him. he’s become so self-aware though and i love it!! also he is so incredibly well-acted that it makes me insane… the little things like how he fidgets with the bottom of his shirt when he’s nervous or upset and how he flinches constantly… he makes me sad and i adore him. also his earrings were hot and he’s so bisexual.
- and my third love, trent….. i am so so nervous for next week but i’m leaning towards being hopeful. he was amazing in this and i love him and his gay little stares and poses and princess diaries enthusiasm. i don’t think he’s going to out colin, and i honestly wouldn’t be worried at all if it weren’t for the ominous-as-fuck song choice at the end. also? i?? briefly entertained the fact that if they don’t go the shitty outing someone route, they very well could go down the queer mentor route??? and i would???? lose my entire mind if we got canonically queer trent crimm thank you and goodnight.
- also ted? my main mans?? please for the love of god get some help.. i know you’re in therapy and that’s a good step but this is so unhealthy you can’t just keep joking about things and hoping no one notices that you’re on the brink of a complete breakdown. my heart was breaking for him this whole episode :(

- i. hate the sam and rebecca plotline with a burning passion. i love sam. i love rebecca. i hate them together. that girl at sam’s restaurant seemed so sweet let’s pursue that instead please and thank you!

Ollie Akana Headcanons:
(Warning: mentions spoilers, mentions abuse, mentions sexual assault)
1.) Despite his vehement denial of all things ghosts and spirit like, Ollie likes supernatural shows like Supernatural (he stopped watching after season 5 or 6, whenever the Leviathans came) and Stranger Things
2.) Ollie had nightmares for weeks about being turned evil by the Void King and Void Queen, then working as a double agent for Zedd. His s/o reassures him for hours after these nightmares.
3.) Ollie wasn't evil during his time with Zedd. He was a double agent working around the clock to help his friends in any sort of way he could
4.) Ollie's father was a piece of shit and abused him and his mom. Ollie was six when his father died, via falling down the stairs. Ollie doesn't regret it. Ollie also doesn't miss him.
5.) Ollie is protective of his mother to the point that he checks on her three times a day outside of normal texting
6.) Ollie is the youngest of the Rangers, not Izzy. He's 16 at the start of Dino Fury. He skipped a few grades, currently he's registered for online college classes. There's also a reason that Solon and the other Rangers call him Boy Genius/Baby Genius
7.) Ollie's heroes include: his mother, Billy Cranston, Rose Ortiz, Riley Griffin, Nate Silva, Hayley Ziktor, Andros, Jen Scotts, Taylor Earhardt, and Cam Watanabe
8.) There was a point in his life when Ollie very much wanted to be a pirate
9.) Ollie's been in karate since he was a kid, fencing since he was 14
10.) Billy offers Ollie an internship at Cranston Tech when Ollie graduates college. Ollie happily accepts.
11.) Ollie is well aware of other dimensions and would LOVE to go visit them if given the chance
12.) Ollie can speak and understand multiple languages due to his travels with his mother. The only ones he'd say he's fluent to mastery in are English, Japanese, and Hawaiian

Welcome to our second edition of the Hayden Young Appreciation Week!! We did our first one way, way back in 2020, followed by a birthday celebration last year. We're now back with a bang, and a full-fledged birthday week, in 2023!! We will be starting this awesome week tomorrow, 25th Sept!
Our first theme is, of course, Throwback. Here is where you can share some of your older Hayden-centric stuff and maybe even take us through the process of writing it if you're interested! (Here's a questionnaire you could try for the same).
Our second theme is a word that is often associated with Perfect Match xD Indescribable!! We all know this is viewed as a peculiar characteristic of all Matches - that they struggle to process emotion from the abstract, thus making a lot of artwork difficult to decipher. This theme is a chance to explore what that could mean for a Hayden who is clearly unique in their ability to question and understand deep abstract concepts.
Any work is welcome - fics, art, edits, moodboards, interactive media, headcanons, meta, even screenshots of your favourite scenes! Our only requirements are that the works are original (nothing AI generated), and they center Hayden and present a positive depiction of them.
It is not necessary to put up your works only on the day of the theme - you can always put it up later. We will also be keeping a buffer week in case you're not able to complete it during the week itself (till Oct 6th).

Miscellaneous headcanons about Satoru Gojo. Single character for this post because I have so many thoughts.

Satoru Gojo
Bisexual. Very aware of how attractive he is to some people. Particularly heterosexual women. He is annoying about it.
Has so much rizz up until the point he opens his mouth. If he were mute he could sweep any person off their feet.
The man is a massive softie somewhere in that ego of his. It's just hard for him to slow down and actually appreciate things from time to time.
He is not resistant to vulnerability. The problem is he won't engage it himself. Particularly because of how he was raised. Because he presents himself as a shithead 90% of the time, most people don't care to prod and ask how he is doing proper. If ever given the chance he would spill his guts though.
He would never acknowledge the fact that maybe he is very severely traumatized.
Tsumiki and Megumi became weird little sibling figures to him. This helped a ton because the bar was already on the floor with how they were raised. Gojo however, grabbed a shovel and started digging. He left them primarily on their own and just paid for utilities and visited them on weekends.
Up until Tsumiki went into her coma and he felt responsible for her state because he didn't keep an eye on her close enough. That's when he started bonding with Megumi outside his training as a sorcerer.
He was not disallowed from competing in the exchange event during his second and third years at Jujutsu High. The Kyoto students who competed against him never forgave him.
He is good at everything he has ever tried, sure. But he will never try anything he is confident he wouldn't be good at. The biggest example of this is cooking. As a rich kid he has never had to cook he never will have to learn to cook and he will lie about buying food and presenting it as his own.
Massive massive bully mentality. In that his favorite people are the ones he can get a rise out of. It's why he picks on Utahime so much. She's never learned that if you don't respond they'll give up eventually.
It is almost a talent how bad this man is at timekeeping. He is regularly late to everything no matter how important it is. While mostly honestly accidental, it plays into that bully mentality of getting a rise out of people.
He is a little fruity with his gender but is still definitely a cis man.
Would have killed it on vine.
Bleeding heart for his students. Past or present. He has to make it hard to get a hold of him when he is on missions because he will get distracted. Especially if his students ask for help.
Has a big family but no siblings. When he was still en utero he was not even close to being the next head of the clan. Up until he was born and it was revealed he had the six eyes and limitless.
Blue eyes are a staple in the family. Just usually not that blue.
He would lose his mind if he ever met someone like him. Very much a dish it out but can't take it kind of guy. Unfortunately no one has ever really been able to dish it back.
So adamant about pushing his limits in terms of what he can get away with because he knows at some point there has to be a 'too far'.

Indifferent towards cats or dogs. Simply not a pet person.
Used to hold very traditional ideas about the role of women in his clan. Incredibly misogynistic until his early teens. It was one of the first things that signaled to him that there was something wrong.
When it comes to Yaga specifically, he would never deny a request. He will groan and complain about it if he doesn't want to do it. But he will get it done.
His near death experience, between Heaven and Earth, was the last time he felt honestly happy. Not that he hasn't been happy since, of course. It was just a euphoria and clarity that could never happen again.
He and Suguru cremated Kuroi and Riko together. The only people that would mourn them.
More than willing to lie to people's faces about how much or little they mean to him. He doesn't keep everyone at arms reach as much as he likes to pretend he does.
Went out of his way to protect Suguru's family after he died. No matter what roles they played in his cult.
Answer to the trolley problem: do not pull the lever
Because of how light his eyes are, Satoru's only real weakness is a sensitivity to light and quickly adjusting between light and dark spaces.
Was particularly hard on Maki when she was in his class. He wished he could have helped her more in realizing who she could be. A part of him was terrified to.
Despite everything. If he couldn't ensure the safety of his students, Gojo wouldn't change a single thing about his life. Even if he desperately wanted to.

Did you know these iconic figures are bi, actually?
Let's take a look at bi-cons throughout history.
Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo is infamous for a great many things. Her art, her socialist views and activism, her disability from a trolley crash, her bisexuality, and more. During her marriage to Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo had several extramarital affairs with both men and women. Frida was openly bisexual and would occasionally dress in men's clothing.
Josephine Baker
A singer, dancer, and a civil rights pioneer, Josephine Baker was a bisexual performer and activist. She helped to defeat the Nazis in France through her work as a resistance spy. She lived a queer life through and through - she dated Frida Kahlo, and after the war, married Jo Bouillon — a gay musician. Each had relationships with other people and they adopted 12 children who Baker called her “rainbow tribe.”
Malcom X
Malcolm X was America's leading advocate for black pride, upliftment, and freedom. He spoke with fierce eloquence and defiance for black liberation. Based on interviews with Malcolm's closest friends, Author Bruce Perry suggests he was not as solidly heterosexual as his colleagues have claimed. Friends say he had many queer relationships in his 20s and some suggested he might have as a sex worker for a period of time.
Virginia Woolf
Author Virginia Woolf's diaries indicate she was very in love with her husband, Leonard Woolf. They were both a part of the Bloomsbury group which tended to have more liberal ideas about sexuality than general society did at that time. They were not monogamous, nor were her lovers all men. Many of her novels, including Mrs. Dalloway and Orlando have bi characters and she famously dated Vita Sackville-West.
David Bowie
David Bowie's gender and cultural fluidity inspired a generation of queer people. He labelled himself variously throughout his life, originally coming out as gay, then straight when he married Iman later in life, but he had relationships with people of all genders across his life and undeniably influenced generations of queer people to be comfortable with who we are.
Marlene Dietrich
Dietrich, an actress, was "an early pioneer of cross dressing and of embracing bisexuality without apology,” She dd it in her very first Hollywood film — the 1930 drama, Morocco, which earned her her only Academy Award nomination. In the film’s most famous scene, her character, a cabaret singer, kisses another woman while dressed in a men’s tuxedo.” She was a trailblazer.
Janis Joplin
Janis Joplin of Big Brother and the Holding Company was an American singer-songwriter who sang rock, soul, and blues music. She had a short but eventful life, including relationships with rockstars such as Jim Morrison and her most sustained relationship with Jae Whitaker, and an on-again-off-again romance with Peggy Caserta.
Bisexuals make up over half of the LGBTQ+ population. Who knows how many historical figures may have been queer but unable to come out at the time?
This week, we celebrate all the people before us who made it possible to be who we are.

Book: Open Heart (Prequel - MC's Med School Years)
Pairing: Casey MacTavish (F!MC) x Jessica Phillips (F!OC)

Summary: Casey's a little hangry during their late-night study session, but Jess isn't letting her off the hook.
A/N: Participating in @choicesseptemberchallenge2023 Day 5, Notebook @choicesficwriterscreations bisexual awareness week; @choicespride bisexual awareness week.
The tiny apartment was dimly lit, as expected when the clock was nearing one a.m. But Casey had an anatomy exam to prepare for, and sleep was a luxury not afforded to the second-year med school student. As her eyelids became heavy, Jessica went into action. With a flip of a switch, the overhead fluorescent blubs blared, ripping Casey from the soothing haze she had been slipping into.
“Hey!” She protested.
“Hey, nothing!” Jess snapped back. “I’m not staying up with you for my health. We’re here to get you prepped for your exam tomorrow. Now sit up!”
Her commanding voice was a bit intimidating. If medicine didn’t work out for Jess, Casey was confident her girlfriend could have an impressive career as a drill sergeant. Still, she was too familiar with her softer side to take her commands seriously.
“No,” she protested wearily. “I’m too tired.”
Jess let out an exasperated sigh, but one look at Casey’s crooked smile and she was reduced to a marshmallow again.
“How about this,” the doe-eyed redhead smiled. “Answer one more question correctly, and we’ll call it a night.”
“Go for it!”
Jess lifted the notebook and read: “What is the name of the process of division of a somatic cell’s nucleus into two daughter nuclei?”
Casey squirmed before belting out: “Meoisis!”
“No! It’s mitosis! You know that, Case. Meiosis refers to the production of sex cells, not somatic.”
“Well, maybe I have other things on my mind,” Casey teased.
“Yeah,” Jess smirked, “Well, I’m not giving into that until I’m confident you’ll pass. I have a minimum GPA requirement to be my girlfriend, you know.”
“Oh really,” Casey chuckled. “Well, for your information, I wasn’t thinking about that! I was thinking about food! I haven’t eaten since 4:30.”
“Casey! Why didn’t you say something! You know you shouldn’t do that.”
“It wasn’t intentional,” she yawned. “I’ve been too busy.”
“Well, let’s fix that. What can we get you to eat?”
Casey picked up her phone. “There is a pizza place down on 37th that’s open 24/7. I’ll give them a call.”
“Pizza at one a.m.!” Jess scoffed. “I think not.” She headed to the small kitchen with Casey following behind.
“You won’t find anything. I haven’t been grocery shopping.”
“I’m sure there’s something,” Jess said, displeased to find mostly empty cabinets and some unhealthy options in the fridge. “Casey....” she groaned, feeling a little better when she saw a container of steel-cut oats. “Here. You can have this.”
“I could,” Casey blushed, “But... I don’t know how to make them.”
“You don’t know how to make oatmeal?” Jess’s brown eyes bulged. “It’s basically boiling!”
“Yeah, and burning. When I do it, it typically includes burning.”
Unsure if she was more amused or horrified by the reply, Jess brushed Casey’s golden locks aside and kissed her forehead to conceal both.
“I’ll tell you what. I’ll make you oatmeal, and we’ll study a few more questions. Then, we should really get some sleep.”
“All right,” Casey smiled, pulling Jess into a tight hug. “Thank you.”
“But, as soon as you pass this anatomy exam, we’re going grocery shopping, and I’m teaching you how to cook.”
“Jess, when it comes to anatomy, I’m a quick study – but cooking... that’s another animal.”
“Don’t worry, I know what I’m dealing with. We’ll start small. Grilled cheese for dinner tomorrow?”
“As long as you don’t mind burnt grilled cheese,” Casey grinned.
“Not on my watch,” Jess chuckled. “You’re lucky you’re so damned cute, MacTavish!”
“I get that a lot,” Casey smiled. “But you’re cute too... I guess you deserve grilled cheese that isn’t burnt for dinner tomorrow. So I’ll do my best.”
“Gee,” Jess rolled her eyes as she plopped the bowl of oatmeal on the table. “How’d I ever get so lucky?”
“We,” Casey smiled.
“We? We what?”
“How did we get so lucky?”
“Yeah, yeah,” Jess blushed. “You’re still answering a few more questions when you’re done. I’m not as easily manipulated as those silly boys you used to date.”
“Oh, I know that,” Casey assured. “And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
“Good! Now, what is the name of the process of division of a somatic cell’s nucleus into two daughter nuclei?”
“Mitosis!”
“See,” Jess winked. “You are a quick study!”

I can't believe I forgot what this week is!! It's bi week! Thank you, tumblr, for reminding me!
This is a really long post, feel free to just skip around if you want. I would definitely check out the links/video!
(Before I start talking, yes, I have done research and I will be providing a bunch of great articles about bisexuality.)
IF YOU ARE BISEXUAL AND/OR QUESTIONING, STEP ONE OF REALIZING YOUR SEXUALITY IS AKNOWLEDING THAT YOUR FEELINGS ARE VALID!
I myself have this problem where I invalidate my own fears and insecurities because 'it could be worse' and 'I'm just being dramatic' and 'I should stop being such an attention seeker.'
Biphobia, especially the internalized kind, is VERY real.
NO, dating someone does not suddenly alter your sexuality. If you are a masculine-identifying individual dating a man, but previously identified as bisexual, you are still bisexual during the relationship too!
People will sometimes unknowingly invalidate bisexuality because they do not understand this. If you are an ally or hope to become one, please do some basic research before making assuptions.
I've found that reading books and articles that include bisexual representation are helpful when you feel particularly alone and when you are questioning yourself.
By the way, Bisexuality does not always mean that you only like male and female individuals! If you scroll down, there's more info on that in the article link titled 'bisexual vs pansexual.'
