There were a few teething problems. He's not at all tidy and I'm very tidy. I'm kind of, "You're cutting the garlic with the wrong knife and don't ever cut the plastic with that Sabatier." He's kind of, "Don't stir that pasta sauce with the spoon you've just licked." I'm more, "Don't be stupid, you kiss people you barely know."

He thinks I'm finicky, but he has to have his kiwi and his bowl of cereal in the morning. And he drove me nuts with his washing, which he'd leave in the machine for about a year. Also, I could never get him to believe that no matter how he shut the front door, to anybody inside the house it was a slam, although once Jeremy and I had babies he did get better.

Dude ok nevermind. Perhaps they are the same person except DT is very sorry and trying his best and MS is like whatever I’m Michael Sheen

lando ships always do quite well in ao3 stats wise so im not surprised. mclaren also makes it “easier” bc they put their guys into so many situations!!!!!!! good jumping off points for so many writers :) plus teammate ships do way better than non teammate ones I think if you stack everything all up it makes sense why that ship is doing so well. ao3 stats are just so cool just little sociological studies!!

charlos arguably got the most ferrari putting them in homoerotic situations situations, and they were teammates for longer but they've only got 885 in a 3 year span, so your teammate ships isn't necessarily a guaranteed formula.

lando ships only has carlando that *really* blew up to the lestappen, maxiel heights of 2000+ fics. other than that, 2 years with daniel, dando is still at a humble 500 so the secret sauce isn't just lando, or lando + teammate.

TerasTale: Character personalities

I renamed my au since I did not like it at all.

Anyways, here’s a quick description of my au if you don’t know:

Monsters are like actual monsters, they have very little empathy and sympathy, and they’re very violent. This depends monster to monster though, a monster may be more human than a monster (perhaps a bit rude and apathetic, but not violent) while another may be a bloodthirsty beast. The average is like: rude, perhaps a bit violent, but won’t attack everyone.

I decided on some characters’ personalities (and some of their designs) but they can be changed any time. Here’s a basic description.

Chara: They hate both monsters and humans, they want revenge and encourage you to kill monsters. (They’re mostly normal.)

Toriel: Cold and hateful to monsters, she kills any monster on sight. She likes reading and still has the same fascination with snails, but she feels lonely in her home in the ruins and is possessive. She’s not the kind goat momma she once(?) was (I wanna change this)

Sans: a prankster who barely takes anything seriously. He likes to trick people and scare them for fun. He is pretty lazy and hates working, and also has a taste for comedy. He’s good at acting. He doesn’t have much morals, but he definitely won’t harm you as long as he doesn’t hate you to the bone. He’s not very kind but he’s nicer than most of the monsters, but if you get close to him, you probably won’t get the worst of his pranks. and most importantly.. he loves lemons. (The fruit)

Papyrus: A dedicated guardsmen. He is part of an unofficial “Monster Guards” to defend monsters who can’t defend themselves. He’s one of the most sympathetic and empathetic monsters in the underground. He is loyal and serious. He quite likes sweet food, but hates sour food. He is actually quite friendly for a monster, but he isn’t innocent by all means. He likes painting, and is very annoyed by his brother’s antics. (He gets a lot of his pranks.)

Undyne: a bloodthirsty monster who runs a gang wanting to overthrow the king for power. She has anger issues, and wants power. She often clashes with Papyrus. Other than that, she likes watching fantasy action anime with lots of battle scenes. She quite likes spicy food and often challenges herself by putting as much spicy sauce in her food. She is very determined and HATES humans.

Alphys: idk haven’t decided.

Mettaton: haven’t decided but it should be mostly the same.

Asgore: dead

Asriel: The ruthless king of the underground. He killed Asgore because he was “too soft”, he wishes for destruction for humanity and the monsters to take over the world. He allows for killing to happen and believes that if a monster dies, they deserved to die because they were weak. He is selfish and is a true monster.

so err, how is it? if you can, gimme some ideas for personalities and stuff.

also for powers that aren’t op or completely replace the og abilities they have. I want Toriel to have.. idk, sans to have stealthy powers, papyrus to have defensive powers, undyne to have offensive powers, mettaton to have.. idk, explosive powers? Asriel to have some really disturbing power.

(Oh, and what in the hell happens when an inanimate object gets dt injected? I know how flowey happened but what if asriel’s dust wasn’t there?)

This was my last day before mocks and study leave. I don't feel prepared and I'm not optimistic but I'm gonna do my best.

I revised maths and DT today. I also started drawing up some parts to be laser cut for my NEA.

Didn't stay after school to revise because it was my friend's birthday today. She hosted a games night. Side note: wostershire sauce is horrid and should not be taken as a shot.

11/3/22 wt 253

Up early, went to town.

Realized it was cancelled and went home and took a nap. Until fucking noon ya'll.

Went to town to get my summer and snow tires swapped out.

Went to subway for a oven turkey pepperjack footlong, baked potato chips, and a dt soda.

Dropped my car off at 1:30. Was notified ot was in the shop at 1:55. I read my textbook for an hour. Felt like I annoyed the subway employees. Started walking the Walmart store for some steps, as I really didn't have any shopping to do.

Another hour.

I go sit on the 1 chair in the auto department, with my cart, my subway leftovers. No one talks to me. I wait. I start getting like, really fucking angry.

I have to pull up the text message and realize it is directing me to download a fucking app. Seriously stores, fucking stop this. Not everyone has a primo phone with Mega loads of memory for a fucking app I am going to use ONCE.

I digress. I download it.

Realize that service on my car stopped eons ago.

Look up, it is now 4:30 and there is a fucking line. I wait. Finally to the front. I ask them wtf is going on with my car. Dude goes huh? The car has been there so long that his shift started and was unaware there was a car with a problem.

Fuck. Ok. So apparently there is a bad tire. So they want to know if they should put on 2 or 3 snow tires. I say put 2 on the back. He looks at me weird. It's a rear wheel drive bro, snow tires on the back at least.

I didn't get out of there til 5:45.

Went to planet fitness. Realized my key card fell off my keys. And apparently my cvs card.

They can't find me because they can't see my home gym. Well hell, which one is it? I was the member who started in 2013 2 mf towns ago.

That is a nightmare. Struggle bus.

But I need to go to the gym. I need the structure of leaving my house regularly. Goddamn it, I need to get that fixed. Fuck. So many fucks.

But I ate good for the day, so.

Ended at an Al-Anon meeting, which was great. They have a coffee shop there and I ordered a caffeine free tea and brought a sparkling water.

Went home. Mom had already had dinner. I had a bowl of shirataki noodles & pasta sauce while watching Walking Tall. The Rock had a worse day than mine was. With Turkey meatballs. Then started watching Still Alice. Mom's choice. It was super fucking hard to watch because it is about a lady with early onset Alzheimers. [If you don't know, I am the caregiver for my elderly mother, who had a brain tumor, has memory issues and is on a downhill slide]. It got me right in the feels. I stayed up too late.

All in all- the day was messed up. But, I stayed the course. I was mindful in my choices. Made the sandwich 2 meals. Got some healthier "snack" options.

I tried to focus on steps... got 20 min of treadmill ing in. Not what I wanted but it was something.

I acquired a cpap so I am trying it out. Tough to get used to but hoping for more restful sleep eventually.

DT Shawarma Guelph

D.T. Shawarma In Bullfrog Mall.

I went here as a student just earlier today as I’m writing this. As a student, they have deals that are 7 dollars for students. You can get shawarma poutine, shawarma with rice or shawarma with fries with a canned pop. I got the shawarma poutine. It’s a decent portion of fries, with a good portion of shawarma chicken. It’s topped with gravy and cheese, then garlic sauce, spicy mayonnaise and hot sauce. I got it with extra hot sauce and it was LOADED. The entire container I had it in was filled to the brim with saucy fries and chicken goodness. When I took my first bite I was actually taken back, cause I didn’t expect so much sauce to be so so so good. The hot sauce was super nice, as well as the mixture of garlic with fries and chicken had my mouth watering from the first bite to a full hour after eating it. I took it to go, so I didn’t really wait to see how the atmosphere inside was, but It was very dead and quiet as there was no one there besides one of my gym friends who got the same exact thing. The people at the counter were slightly impatient as I asked a simple question like “do you have the shawarma wrap as a student discount” and they said “no.” very bluntly and sort of passive aggressively. The food was a solid 8/10, the customer service was a mere 4/10 besides the very nice lady serving it to me, and the atmosphere was also a 4/10. Overall it was a 6/10 and would probably get the poutine again.

大家好! As promised, here's the first look at our bright and clean MRT 😃 Many train stations come with well ventilated, brightly lit and easy to navigate underground/sheltered walkways to nearby malls. These act as a shield for citizens against rainstorms and sweltering heat. Have a look at some of our gorgeous MRT stations in the following article and stay tuned for more photos in the near future!

Onto possibly the last confinement dish I'll have for some time. Grace's confinement ended but the couple was gracious enough to prepare a snack of shuang dan zhu jiao cu (double egg and pork stewed in vinegar and ginger) as well as hei ji tang (black chicken soup). They've also promised that they'll make confinement dishes for me sporadically since they like seeing me eat my fill. Meanwhile, we'll resume our treats in the coming weeks. It's been some time since we've done that.

Between mouthfuls of zhu jiao cu, I told them about sending my first email in Mandarin. I've been relearning the language for over 2 years now. Besides conversing and texting, I can add sending emails to my list of milestones! They were happy for me, of course. Improvements deserve to be celebrated!

Stress from the 1-off exercise is ongoing and DT requested that we feast. SW didn't object since it meant lots of potatoes 😅 I loaded up on the veggies and drizzled warm cheese sauce over them, which made them taste better. When the going gets tough, additional nutrition helps. It's 1 of the ways we cope with the pressure.

I bought an additional 2 powerful fans to prep for the warmer months. Doing something for climate change has its benefits; my skin feels more hydrated when I sleep without the AC and I shave some money off my utilities bill. Having multiple fans on during the hottest period of the year consumes less electricity than the AC so I'll give it a try. My home traps heat and feels like a furnace during the first half of the year so if relying on fans significantly reduces my reliance on the AC, I'll stick with the winning formula. 下次见!

pac rim ducktales holy shit - how do you have that configured? Like plotwise and who is drift partners with who?

sorry for taking so long to get to this! it’s not really a one-to-one thing for the characters, but here are my ideas so far! for plot reasons the kids are aged up.......because none of this would make sense if they weren’t. (also, as a disclaimer, i have not seen the second one)

- HDL are the hotshot pilots of a three person jaeger (similar to the crimson typhoon). they joined the program against donald’s wishes, but he couldn’t stop them, especially with scrooge encouraging them. they have an interesting drift approach because they all lend some trait to the other while fighting - huey knows a lot about the kaiju, louie is very good at battle strategy, and dewey has enough courage to pull the other two through.

- donald and della were very highly respected jaeger pilots (their jaeger was called the spear of selene....don’t look at me), until one day when della was presumably killed in a kaiju attack (à la yancy becket). she was declared KIA, and donald retired shortly thereafter, but because he didn’t feel her die before the drift connection severed he still holds out hope that she may be alive......

- gyro and fenton are on the science team. obviously. they in particular work on jaeger technology, but since the entire jaeger program is in hot water, all science divisions have been grouped together. violet is the lead kaiju researcher and she does NOT get paid enough to be in the same office as them.

- beakley and scrooge were copilots of one of the most successful jaegers of all time, but it was eventually decided that their tactical skill was too important to be put at risk, so their jaeger was retired and they were appointed to leadership positions. beakley is the marshal, and scrooge is the top independent funder of the jaeger program - which ends up being crucial when the UN decides to cut their own funding.

- webby is similar to mako - raised by an ex jaeger pilot in all the ways to be a great one herself, but discouraged from going down that path. she grew up being friends with the triplets, and with their help finally convinces beakley that if she can find a drift compatibility partner, she can pilot the newest jaeger designed by gyro and fenton - and, considering the UN’s cut funding, the last one scrooge can afford to build

- enter lena. magica (who here is her biological aunt) was a sort of kaiju fanatic. she was kind of like hannibal chau, but more witchy. a big difference is that while hannibal goes in to strip the kaiju corpses to make money, magica did it because she believed that the kaiju were the key to the next stage of humanity. this put lena in a lot of dangerous situations, anywhere from being made to strip the corpses herself to human experimentation, until she finally decides that the danger of running away is less scary than the danger of staying with magica. she runs into webby, some kind of shenanigan ensues, and they realize that they are in fact drift compatible. beakley is not pleased but a deal is a deal, and webby and lena become the program’s newest pilots

- i know i don’t talk about launchpad and darkwing that much on this blog but they are definitely copilots and it is definitely one of the biggest mysteries of the shatterdome as to how they are not only still alive but some of the most successful pilots ever

i don’t know where della is or how they find her but she IS coming back
