not me thinking about imaginary scenarios of ten year old Tim Drake in the ghost zone (pariah’s castle)
where Tim thinks it’s strangely soothing that despite being the only one whose steps connect to the ground, there’s not that eerie silence that befell drake manor
strange blob creatures chitter softly and nip at his hair and swooshes and wisps of wind betray the presence of an invisible ghost
which after following he realizes it’s almost like he’s trailing after the black dark shadow that is batman again
which gives him the idea that, maybe, just this one time, he can play the part of robin
that in mind Tim makes out a game of sneaking to the side of ghosts that look like they’re brooding and if they can spot him he loses
most just grunt in response (very in character) while others fuss over him and ask questions which Tim uses to infodump
he also politely asks the ghost that always asks him how he’s doing to instead say the word “report”
(the ghost looks at him weirdly but humors him and besides the answer would be the same anyways)
Tim also(!!)
gets on the case of why the walls lack tangibility when he is the one leaning on them (he doesn’t live down the time he wanted to look cool only to fall through the wall)
hyperfixates on how gravity works in the ghost zone because he couldn’t do a skateboard trick he has pulled off many many times and he’s salty about it
tries to figure out where they are getting human food from (cause it’s hot enough to be homemade but also there’s no kitchen —so how could it be) (also he wants coffee)
finds out the dude that often gives him a side eye when he finds that Tim knows how to do something (math homework), is next in line for the throne and yet doesn’t have a single “mingle and talk people up” bone in his body. (despite it his networking is a solid 7/10)
gets a ghost horse to adopt him what
discovers pretty quickly that there are rooms to which he can’t phase through (a.k.a. he’s not allowed entry) to which he begrudgingly backs off even though that stands in his way of doing a very thorough layout™ of the place (robin would)
sulks over the lack of extreme sports in the place
(Danny takes him to the Far Frozen where they go tire sliding in the snow and where tim learns how to use a skateboard skate and also that ghost ice cream is just as good as normal ice cream)
sulks again cuz he caught a common cold
also because there’s no sun or moon poor Timmy’s already screwed sleep schedule gets more messed up to the point no one knows when or where he will fall asleep
(ghosts find him in the most unhinged of places with a signature purple cloak draped over him every. single. time.)
overall, be a menace
see-> the time he threatened to build ghost weapons he’d somehow memorized the blueprints of cause Danny wouldn’t let him visit the radium girls factory but yes the renaissance period
see-> that time he went through the whole ghost energy and how to work with it book section in the library and half an hour later had a prototype of a star wars laser beam made
(note: bribing only works for hot chocolate, not for letting him keep cool-looking guns)
just tim having the time of his life
clockwork being no help at all (the ghost loves being a cryptid)
and danny trying not to get attached while he progressively gets more concerned over this chaos child he emotionally adopted as his little brother
(to fit canon cause i want it to this would just be until Danny finds the dimension little Timmy is from, then they can safely yeet the child back to the moment he first went missing)

ik it’s been forever in internet time but i’m gonna die mad abt the way the live action atla show got a good amount of backlash and criticism from the fanbase meanwhile the pjo show was THAT horrendous and the fanbase treats critics like they’re out to kill their mother. as someone in both fandoms am i crazy bc i keep fucking seeing people say yes 💀 like!! these shows, whose original series were both about a 12 year old boy born with godlike powers going on quests with his friends to save the world, released in the 2000s, and had a shitty movie adaptation, now reboots released within weeks of each other, both committed nearly identical crimes of character assassination, exposition dumping, dumbing down their source material, sanitizing “problematic” elements (that the characters originally had to overcome), and wasting actor potential (also at least live action atla had good action scenes CANNOT say the same for the pjo show)—and i’m seeing like mainstream(ish) social media coverage of new atla show critique by people with millions of followers all across different sites, but nothing even close to that for the pjo show?? if that coverage exists for the pjo show somebody fucken send it to me bc like!! the pjo series is Not an unpopular series, i get it’s a book series and not a tv series so i didn’t expect the popularity to be exactly the same, but Damn! i feel like i need an hours long video essay comparing the two audience reactions to these series’ first season releases bc they were WIDLY different

Sick and tired of reading about people say that Dazai knowing about the plan beforehand somehow takes away from the genuineness of the skk moments
You mean you WANT Dazai to choose to kill Chuuya for the greater good and then not give a shit immediately after?? Ignoring the speech for a second, the reason he was able to be so carefree after “killing” Chuuya is because he KNEW Chuuya was gonna be okay.
First of all, Dazai knowing Chuuya wasn’t gonna die doesn’t take away from his speech. He replayed all those memories for himself, nobody else was seeing what was happening in his head. He was GENUINELY upset at the idea of losing Chuuya and having to put Chuuya through that, DESPITE knowing Chuuya would be okay. He was STILL upset. That’s way better than him thinking he just killed Chuuya, sparing him a thought, not even crying (bc no that wasn’t a tear) and then just moving on being silly as if nothing happened.
And then the other speech him saying that they’re destined to - do you seriously think he’d just make that up for shits and giggles? He was being serious. If he was gonna play it up for Fyodor’s sake he would’ve said the most emotional out of pocket line to ever be written, which to them would be related to him leaving Chuuya behind. But no he just said they’re destined to do something.
Dazai talks a lot about the past to Chuuya (Chuuya does not participate) but those two are clearly emotionally constipated bc they never have a conversation about what they mean to each other (which I think is bc Asagiri is not ready to reveal that yet). This was clearly Dazai taking his opportunity to say what he REALLY thinks / feels forcing Chuuya to listen without the commitment. Bc if anyone gets the ick later he can use the convenient excuse of “oh I didn’t mean that” which is bullshit.
And I do think an element of this idea that it’s worse that Dazai had everything planned comes from the misunderstanding that Dazai has completely changed since he was in the port mafia. Dazai just tends to make “better” (as in more objectively good) choices, but he very much still puts on a front. You guys do realize that his silly persona is just that right? A persona? He’s literally being fake every time he’s silly. That’s not his real personality. He’s a morally gray character. He never became a purely good person and he never will. It makes MUCH more sense that he planned everything out with Chuuya beforehand.
He met up with Akutagawa before getting arrested, he probably did the same with Chuuya.
And yes, this means he DID use and manipulate Sigma the entire time. Why wouldn’t he? Sigma has an ability Dazai needed. I’m sure Dazai planned for sigma to not die bc in his role as a detective it’s part of his job to mitigate losses of innocent lives, he knows this, but also bc Dazai needs to know what sigma learned. I genuinely hope there isn’t anyone out there thinking Dazai wouldn’t manipulate sigma bc he cares about him? He just met him. He has no personal investment in him. But he WILL make sure sigma is alive bc of the aforementioned reasons.

imogen has never heard such a slow heartbeat before, not that she makes it a habit of going around listening to ‘em, mind you. it’s just different, she thinks, as she presses her ear more firmly to laudna’s chest.
though her memories are covered in a thick fog borne of time, she still remembers how easily her daddy had scooped her up into his arms so many years ago. she remembers how he held her to his chest as he stood on their sun bleached porch, looking out at the beginning of a new day. she remembers the curiosity she felt as she put an ear to his chest, how she gasped at how loud it was, how strong it felt.
(“daddy, why d’you tick so loudly?” she had asked, eyes sparkling with the kind of wonder only a six year old could have.
her daddy had smiled, something he did so often back then, as he pressed her tiny fingers to his chest. “gotta keep tickin’ to live, sweetheart. you tick, too.”
“i do?” she gasped as she brought her other hand to her own chest, surprised to find how steadily it thrummed against her palm.)
she can’t help but observe how there’s something so odd about hearing laudna’s heartbeat now against that memory. how it thrums so delicately against her ribs, a slow and gentle rhythm, just barely there and almost dull in how soft it beats. and it’s hard for imogen to correlate the word dull to the woman beneath her because laudna is anything but.
laudna is rich and vibrant, more than just a passing phantom, stronger than any puppet. laudna is a shimmering beacon brighter than any moon, imogen thinks, and is startled at how quickly her own heartbeat picks up as if to chase that thought.
underneath imogen’s ear, laudna’s lungs breathe, her blood rushes, her heart beats and beats and beats—
a reminder,
a reason,
a confession.

Kinda tired of people acting like weed is harmless across the board. Just because specific strains are beneficial in certain situations for certain people doesn’t mean all weed is inherently good for everyone. And I don’t care what you do with your own body but if it’s airborne that means you’re forcing others to deal with it.
But more than that I’m tired of people treating anyone who doesn’t want to smell or be around weed as stuck up whiny babies ruining everyone’s fun.

What’s insane about the challenges like the treadmill one is that the second you hear it is sounds so intimidating (for most people) and as hard as they’re making it someone is going to win some crazy fit athlete in that room is going to place first that’s insane to me
#I’d like it if they weren’t manual treadmills and I had music 🤣#physical 100#Netflix physical 100#physical 100 season 2#p100s2#id love to study the mentality of the people in that room#CrossFit people are crazy they literally said oh it’s like breathing#I could not imagine how many people threw up#I wanna study when u get into them mental state of your body is ready to quit but u see the people around you seem like they’re not breakin#a sweat so you don’t stop that’s interesting to me#the way u can push urself and motivate yourself by being around other people#anyways I’m rambling#the human body is amazing#the people who just screamed when they got off the treadmill so real#part of me super worried that they just dead stopped because now I’m worried someone is going to have a heart attack 😭 walk it out!!!#I also love the constant encouragement from everyone it’s v wholesome#good for the winner I know they really worked for it so it must have felt incredibly gratifying to win#personally feel it’s worse to come in second than last place because it really eats at u rip that guy
