ok i'm curious,

#been wanting to make a poll but never knew what to ask. just had this question pop up into my head #i've been conflicted i wanna be a digitals girl sooo bad bc books are getting expensive & i dont wanna risk buying & not liking them #dont know if i should buy an ereader feel like it's not for me. i have an epub reader on my phone where i finished at least 2 books #but that was three years ago. i just fell out of it sometimes i open the app and then go hmmm naaahhh #the issue might be the pdf files that arent as nice as epubs. yeah whatever issue detected omg ahehjdvffjf #polls #a min

woke up at 6:50am after getting two (2) hours of sleep just to get some merch from the recieve you kazumaji zine leftover sale i am dedicated and miserable

I assume it’ll stay available after the physical stuff sells out #but uhhhhh yeah it’ll suck if it doesn’t cause I mean I at least would want the pdf #so yeah tldr I didn’t get everything I would’ve wanted but that’s alright. it is alright especially because I am patiently #awaiting the day marshallmigraine opens a store because boy imma be on top of that ASAP dude.#that and one day I hope to get that dope nishiki jacket from that one site im forgetting the name of #point is. I have created this player notes. It's easy, readable, and printable. Works best for dnd 5e, but I suppose it can be converted for other rpgs too (or, if there's a demand, I can design more kind of players' notes).

i used to promote these individually but i figured a compilation post would be much easier. my name is equinox/johnny, im a disabled intersex trans lesbian writer & artist who is currently homeless after escaping unsafe living situations. i write a lot about my experience as a queer person and have written 9 zines so far on the queer experience. i am in the middle of writing a few more, but for the time being, if you are interested in learning more about queer history & lived experiences, considering checking out my zines on ko-fi. they are currently only available for digital download (PDF format) but in the future we will be finding ways to print physical copies

when did games stop coming up with booklets and stuff with them? a friend made me remember heavy rain and that i actually have the box and i opened it and the booklet even has a part at the end that you could write notes on???? and that apparently was normal for ps3 games at least bc we also have dark souls and it also has that. man

#my posts #when we got it i was youngest child i sorta wasnt allowed to even grab the boxes at some point the game was just downloaded #on the ps3 and then i could play it from there maybe depending on the game sdiughd #so i never really checked these things #....... also theyre in english at that point i wasnt too good at it.#in english and. in french. which i cant speak <3 #ok apparently by the time beyond two souls came out they were getting rare bc this thing is a singular paper about some special edition code #i guess for older games they may have been even better tho but we never had originals for ps2 or earlier bc well. money #there was this place that sells pirated copies made to look original and like you had the game in a box with the thing printed #and the dvd had the design of the original dvd #but if those came with booklets we never knew bc we never had that #but they were like 10 times cheaper i dont think im exagerating #so we got to buy one game each at least once a month #anyways yeah i think games should come with booklets again #if its a digital game it should come with a pdf of the booklets imo <3 #ah about the notes thing tho i opened our other games that i have with me and the only ones that had that were those two so idk

Here's a list of my personal favorite resources for researching witchcraft, magic, and the occult!

Websites

Sacred Texts - This site is a collection of electronic texts about religion, mythology, legends and folklore, and occult and esoteric topics. Almost all of it is in the English language (translated) and when possible they give the original language (which is quite often)!

Jstor - Home to thousands of scholarly content. While there are limitations to the open and free content on the site, they still have quite a lot to offer! If you can afford the paid version I highly suggest you do so.

Wikipedia - I don't care what your high school lit teacher told you, Wikipedia is a great resource and a wonderful way to find where to start when you're learning a new topic.

Encyclopedia Britannica - A fact-checked online encyclopedia with hundreds of thousands of objective articles, biographies, videos, and more.

Hoopla - A digital library where you can borrow books, audio books, and more! It's connected to your local library so make sure you get a library card!

Libby - Same situation as Hoopla.

Worldcat - A website that helps you track down reliable sources that you can only find in libraries.

PDFDrive - A website with thousands of free pdfs. It doesn't always have what I'm looking for but it's always worth a shot to check!

Youtube

Esoterica - Run by Dr. Justin Sledge, Esoterica is a channel that discusses the arcane in history, philosophy, and religion.

Angela's Symposium - Dr. Angela Puca's channel where she covers peer-reviewed research and scholarship on magic, witches, esoteric traditions, the occult, Paganism, shamanism and related currents.

ReligionForBreakfast - Dr. Andrew M. Henry's channel that discusses--you guessed it--religion! His goal is to improve the public's religious literacy by exploring humanity's beliefs and rituals through an anthropological, sociological, and archaeological lens.

Misc

Ronald Hutton - Hutton is an invaluable resource and a fantastic historian. He writes the facts without being pretentious and is often quite funny too!

“The year is 1988. The young Goro Majima is a prisoner in Sotenbori and is forcefully working as the manager at the biggest and most successful cabaret in the city: The Grand.

During his captivity he discovers a way to momentarily forget his predicament. By freeing himself as ‘The Queen of The Night’, Goromi.

Together with his new-found love, Kazuma Kiryu, the two of them have fun and enjoy each other’s company as much as they can because their time together is limited and it’s almost coming to an end.

Kiryu will make sure to give Goromi and Majima a night they will never forget.”

Different from my usual comic strips, this is a long doujinshi and the total page count will be something around 40~50 pages. Besides Kiryu and Majima, we will also have characters like Sagawa, Yuki-chan, Youda and the Sunshine Club girls making an appearance. The plot, script and scenes are all ready and I’m storyboarding and drawing the pages as I progress through the script!

This is also a R-18 adult doujinshi. There’s a lot of fluff, angst and fun interaction with the other characters but a good chunk (mostly half) of the comic will be dedicated to hentai (so rejoice you horny ones fdsjkfhdj). (For those who are curious about the spicy parts, it’s my established 80s Goromi and Y0 Kiryu’s dynamic: Goromi is the top and dominant one and, as a good and obedient boy, Kiryu will obey all of her orders and will do anything to please his queen. 👀 So basically, Goromi will destroy Kiryu dhsfksd)

I’ll be sharing the first 4 pages and then some random ones to the public, but after those, all new pages will be exclusive to my patrons on Patreon! I’m gradually posting over there WIPs, behind-the-scenes and new pages as I make them. I’ll always let you guys know on my social media when I post a new finished page on my Patreon!

I expect half a year or a year for the whole doujinshi to be finished. But the more support I have on Patreon, the faster I can make this doujinshi!

Once finished, I’ll make the complete doujinshi available for purchase in one of my online shops! Yes, this will be a paid comic. I’m pouring all my love for Kazumaji and 80s Goromi in this doujinshi but it also takes a lot of time and dedication to give life to this project so I hope you guys understand that decision. ❤ Of course, all the patrons who support the comic on Patreon will have the whole doujinshi available to them from the get-go.

It will first be available as a digital PDF but I’m also planning to release it in physical format down the road.

Making long comics has always been my true passion, ever since I was a little kid. And I also have other long adult doujinshi planned. If everything goes smoothly, this comic will be the first one of a series of Kazumaji doujinshis! ^^
