Juniper Hill by Devney Perry, 326 pages, published January 11th 2022 - Five Stars (plus it constantly had me craving some really good mac and cheese!) This book started out as just something to fill the hole that One Percent Of You by Michelle Gross left with the whole single parent trope, and yet it only made my need for more of these books. This whole single parent trope is seriously taking over my contemporary romance world, which is amazing cause I love them all so far, but also horrible because I am running out of ones the I know of. If you have any recommendations let me know? and if you think I should finish these standalone series also feel free to let me know - I know right now that I am in the middle of at least Th Eden's, The Twisted Series, and The Dirty Air Series. There's probably as dozen or so more but those were the ones on the top of my head. But back to Juniper Hill!! I was in love from page one all the way through until I ran out of pages and words to read. I loved Memphis and Knox, and then add in Drake and they were and are a match made family. I hope to find the will to want to check out the rest of The Eden's series - who knows what's to come though, right?

hey guys - didn't take long for me to finish the book last night and OMG i could not put it down at all.

so much happened at the end of this book, so many twists and turns but all in all i absolutely loved every moment of the entire series.

yes the characters pissed me off every so often, but that's what makes a book so enjoyable. you don't want everything to be perfect because that is not how life goes.

sure, in a book you can expect a fairytale ending, but it's always better when it takes longer to get there in my opinion.

anyway, i wasn't planning on reading the rest of the series - the books about **SPOILER** Maxon and America's daughter - because i lowkey started to re-read this series halfway through another (The Edens by Devney Perry) which i am thoroughly enjoying btw, but i don't want their story to end quite yet, so i think i'll need to give myself some peace of mind on this series and finish it before returning to The Edens (soz Devney).

anyway, whilst this was not short, i just wanted to post a quick update with where i was at before i had to finish packing to go back to uni (year 2 already 😮)
