Actually, that's something that bothers me a lot in Twisted Wonderland and I've probably said it before, but Yuu is so damn uninvolved with the plot of the game (events and main story) that sometimes I wonder why even bother having a player character. But the Masquerade annoys me in particular because it's literally a plot about "magic vs magicless" deeply rooted in the world building of their magic system, and somehow the only ever magicless person in the entirety of Twisted Wonderland is not relevant to the story.
Also, Yuu was introduced in the Prologue as the strategist/brains of the group, as a "magical beast tamer" who was implied to be capable of directing the others, so them not having magic wasn't as big of a trouble as it could be... and then they threw that idea away. And now Yuu is just there.
I'm not asking for Baldur's Gate levels of player character, but I'd love for my character to be more than a spectator in a story that was apparently supposed to be theirs.

I love how everyone forgot there's a person who literally has no magic whatsoever when deciding who'll go ring the Bell of Solace. My dudes, out of everything else Yuu has done, going through a garden of flowers that literally can't do anything to her to ring a bell is the least dangerous thing she's ever done.

I have a confession: I don't like the Star Sending event very much. Why? Because Yuu has no magic to make a wish, yet they're the person with the most desperate wish. Like, my heart dropped when Yuu's dialogue options were all about giving the wish to Grim.
Yuu can't even wish to go back home.
And I know that making the wish doesn't mean they'll get what they want, but it's the symbolism of it all. Yuu can't make a wish because they have no magic. It feels so hopeless.

If some other magicless person got stuck in Twisted Wonderland and tried to take my place, I'd simply let them. Yeah, bitch, now you take care of these motherfuckers and deal with Crowley's bullshit, see if I fuckin care. Have fun babysitting a bunch of sunovabitches who barely even remember you exist half the time.
I love the angst of "they pushed the Prefect away and replaced them only to miss them when they finally leave", but, also, if I were Yuu, I'd absolutely just let it happen. Call me a pushover, but I ain't shedding a tear for friends who left for the newest shiny thing. And it would relieve me from all the trouble. Guess who's not fighting Overblots anymore? This bastard, that's who.

Yuu: Our boy Azul? Tried to enslave people for free labor, got pissed when his plans for destroyed, overbloted, stole everyone's magic and tried to kill everyone.

Yuu: Jamil did a whole show: he brainwashed his Housewarden into being an asshole to get people to kick him out, once that failed, he overbloted and brainwashed his entire dorm to serve him and then tried to kill us when we tried stopping him.

Yuu: Vil, Rook and Epel's Housewarden, got very envious of this person who was considered prettier. After he failed at killing his rival with poison, he overbloted and tried to kill everyone with poison.
