So I'm redesigning this oc again

Because I wasn't happy with the design, I also changed her name from hopscotch to Hops.

currently trying to design my TOTK OC's clothes, but omfg I'm struggling SOOO HARDDD. I've come to a base design that I like but can't settle on the colors. Criticism and suggestions are appreciated.

For context, his design is based on the 'Forest Dweller' gear, as his lore is related to its history. He's also a Hylian from the distant past, during Rauru's time, so his clothes follow the fashion conventions of the time.

Is there a fashion historian somewhere out there who is willing to DM me every sewing pattern and fashion magazine and photo of clothing and hairstyles and makeup they can find from the year 1930, because every time I try to find references FOR SPECIFICALLY THE YEAR 1930, I get references for the 1930s, WHICH I DO NOT NEED.

I’m looking for women’s, men’s, teen, and child fashion from the year 1930, ideally from the east coast of America released before the Winter of 1930, any help would be appreciated.

Also please please PLEASE if you have any online sources you’d think would help please comment or DM them to me I am desperate.

hey! I'm trying to design a kind of spooky-circus + pastel-goth inspired little bat guy (his name is Fig Tart). He's going to be a magical animal companion to a Magical Boy Character I'm making.

I'm trying to figure out what I can add to his design to make it feel more complete. If you have any ideas of what could look cool or something I could change then I'd appreciate it!

I'd like people's opinion on something.

I'm trying to make a ring for a king & these are what I have so far. It's the same ring, but with the stone in different sizes.

Either I'll go with the one on the left & make a basket/frame for the stone to rest in or I'll go with the one on the right & keep it largely the same.

The thing is, I'm trying to make something similar to a signet ring & the one on the left is most like that.

However, I feel like the one on the right is more masculine & that also appeals to me.

What I could also do is use the stone on the right & create a more signet-like seal plate with an engraving, but put the stone in the center.

This is what I have so far as far as a signet ring goes:

I've designed the Fenton family crest & put it on the ring. I just have to make the coloring into the grooves rather than the multicolor that it is. Unfortunately, I had to size the stone down so that there was enough room for the coat of arms. I actually really like it.

Whether I'll actually go with the signet or not, I haven't decided yet, but I figure that it's a good idea to actually make it first & then decide.

They're done!

I'm making it so the ring has 2 states. One for looking pretty & one for official duty. That being the use of the ruler's seal.

I’m having a little trouble with crescents design-

I’d like at least some suggestions or help because for some reason her design seems off to me. (Probably because she doesn’t look very “Marioish” to me) I’ve been drawing Crescent more without her jacket (that first image, and I tried to replicate the mario style)

I need guidance designing this Madoka Magica witch the wheelchair witch, a karakuri-themed witch that sacrifices its use of its leg like appendages to puppet its familiars, so they can enjoy the life it couldn't.

Am I being respectful with the design? I don't mean any disrespect, and want to make a good interpretation of a design like this. If there are any wheelchair users or those disabled who could give me future advice or design criticism, I'd be thankful.

My next shirt/project design is for a fictional queer club/lesbian bathhouse.

My question is what should the logo be? (Dm or reply suggestions)

And when I say bathhouse I mean like how gay men have bath houses, aka gym community pool and cruising center galore. But with the intended focus on lesbians and other queer people (bipoc would be to the front but all are welcome vibes).

My inspirations are; Queer clubs and party nights throughout the world primarily u.s. in the 80s thru 00s like Gauntlet II the club (@ileaveclawmarks has some ads on their page) and MEAT I'll insert images, thermes in ancient Greece and Rome, currently existing saunas like Steamworks which there are a couple of and now closed bathhouses like Man's Country in Chicago which had sets inside.

I'm trying not to go full brand and identity board and just making a logo/tshirt design. Fun fact this all started cause I was looking at match books and fell down a rabbit hole.

You don't have to read the rest to answer, I'm just going to free write about my design/research process a bit.

Many of the gay saunas have artwork by Tom of Finland, REX, or similar art style. G.B.Jones makes similar work for lesbians but I'm not trying to use anyone's art cause that's weird to do and copyright.

I could however draw something but idk still feels too...obvious. I do like the abruptness of events like Garlands or Clt Club but i do want to make something people could have worn and get an "Oh 😏" rather than a 😒. Many of these new places still operate with some discretion or at least act like they're just a gym with day passes that happens to have a glo hole in the bathroom. This is where I was looking at other venues and events that were lgbtq owned but cheeky. For example a bird logo for a bar named White Swallow (San Francisco closed in 80s). Kind of seems like even some of the more openly "its artsy rabbit season in here" had a secondary logo that was simple or just their name for similar reasons.

All I've got right now is a rough simple flip flop, inspired because of this original tile they found at an ancient thermae site in Libya [image link]. The other thing I've drawn is a flower out that kinda looks like a sticker seal or those boob light fixtures. Thought about a toilet drawing cause lavs short for lavender and lavatory. Oh the name is Lady Lavs.

Anywho curious what others think.

My First Pups

So these are me and my friend’s first ever pups! Jade and Seanna! I’m not really sure how to make their designs more interesting at the moment so if anybody has some ideas I’d be glad to hear them =)

All I really have right now is that Seanna is Nervous and Jade is Energetic. Oh and that they were both found in Industrial Complex (I think? Or Pipeyard)

I’ll probably call these first designs either the Classic or Original designs.
