when someone exalts the dragon you gave them in a forum game the best thing to do is to pour all your anger into your dragon's lore instead. anyways that exalted guy was someone's best friend and they (the dragon) are about to be TRAUMATISED.

My Windsinger!
Juniper is friggin adorable! 😍😍
She's such a nerd, and so aren't I! 🤓😎
I vibe with easily excited nerds!
(Fade/Blend/Basic(?)
What do you think her actual colors/genes are?)
I'm totally giggling at her reactions to the Auraboa, AND the Auraboa freaking out about their hatchlings being "silent/wilting." 😆
Nice name btw!
Aura Boa, it rolls off the tongue, and is kinda fun to say!
Try saying it three times fast out loud! 🤭
Yes, of course they eat meat, like Wildclaws, I just was not expecting fish to be in their diets as well. 😅
(I was thinking they'd be like Spirals in a sense, eating meat and insects, but I'm not mad that they eat fish, not in the slightest!
It actually kinda fits!)
I thought maybe another insect eater, and if you worship The Behemoth, they prolly wouldn't be EATING foliage! 🤭
Though they're kinda like Coatls in a way, so that makes remembering that they like fish easier!
Ooh!
I wonder how they do with speaking with Fae!
Coatls themselves too!
That big ole' crest of theirs is prolly really good for "talking" to others!
Ya think another derg, modern, or another ancient could potentially enter the loop?
Prolly with fandergs that have psychic links of their own, though you could prolly do original lore for a non- fanderg if you wished!
Maybe this means Aether prices will start to go down/more "fodder" Aethers will appear?!? ✌
👉👈
Hmm, staff seems to like snakes eh?
Oof, they're like giant band-aids to the Behemoth?
Interesting...
Hah! Staff also agrees that Wildclaws "squawk!"
Very good for those who have bird like subspecies/linages like Efluvial Crows and the like!
I can't wait to see these in the Night warriors, and the Sunset lineage threads!!!
Hah!
By next Fall/Autumn, people should prolly have a good handle on Auraboa RP!
Ugh, they just came out, but I'm excited to see the lore/breeding pairs to come out of these puppies!
Omg!
Imagine an Autumnal pair!
Orange, maybe a bit of green, with I dunno, Wind eyes?
(Not me being biased to my own flight! 🤭😅)

One of the things I'm really bad about remembering is doling out Research Notes until they pile up so then I send them out in twos and threes to everyone on my friends list when I do remember but hear me out
what if I did that on purpose in preparation for Susie's next appearance and could send everyone the maximum (9) every day of the event

I think my favorite bit of FR lore/worldbuilding is the World Pillar (and no I'm not just saying that because I'm in Earth lmao).
Just imagine being the beast clans when it was still intact all that time ago. A massive stone pillar in the middle of a plain, so so tall that is stretches up into the clouds and even into the upper atmosphere of the planet. Nobody knows when it was built or how or by who. It's unfathomably huge and radiates a power from it beyond what anyone seems capable of.
The pillar is eternal.
Even when it shatters generations later, it's still there. Now a massive grave to what was once peace between the gods of the land. Only one stays and he mourns deep below it. When before people knew nothing of it now they know exactly what it was for and maybe in a way that's worse, because now that it's gone the threat from space can come back. Ignorance is bliss.
And the pillar remains.

on the left is the hlvrai wof au ive had in my brain for a while, im still kinda playing around with gordon's design and idk if hes going to stay a sandwing but whatever. im pretty certain with benrey's colors and hes def a sea/night hybrid. then we got some pythor bc im watching ninjago in full and i went the entirety of season 2 missing my bbg so let me have this. and then in the bottom right is a wof freemind um... i havent actually watched freemans mind yet but i made him a skywing for (hopefully) obvious reasons. its covering up a drawing thats not bad i just thought it was a tad personal to post. and thats it rlly, uh lesson learned from all this: dragons are hard to draw sometimes. also sorry if the shading is doodoo i was going to only shade the feetman derg but yknow. hope i tagged right

Dear FR community, is there something like an FR inktober, or a general list that works good with (FR) dragons? I still haven't found a prompt list I'm super happy with, and I thought I could use inktober to improve my dragon drawing game, but I'm struggling to come up with things myself :( If not, I might just have to draw random dergs from my lair, but I thought having specific prompts would make it a bit more fun. <3

Brigid Deity Guide
Tumblr media
Who is Brigid?
Translated as “The Exalted One” in Old Irish, Brigid is a Gaelic-Celtic Goddess of many things including fire, poetry, fertility, spring, and craftsmanship. Other spellings of her name are Brig, Brighid, or Brigit.
Not unlike many of the Tuatha Dé Danan, Brigid is thought to be a Triple Goddess, similar to The Morrigan. Some believe this means she is three sister goddesses or that she is one goddess made of three different aspects. These sisters, or aspects depending on your belief, would be Brigid the Healer, Brigid the Smith, and Brigid the Poet.
By far Brigid was one of the most popular goddesses of the Celts, as she had variations across the Celtic world where her name was Brigantes or Briganti.
The Welsh know her as Ffraid, in Scotland her name is Brìghde/Brìde.

Notes
Though the Dagda has been established as Brigid’s father, it’s not certain who her mother is. Some say Danu, others say The Morrigan, though this is less likely. I personally have yet to find anywhere that names a mother with any evidence.
Brigid is considered a Mother Goddess.
Brigid has been conflated with the Catholic St. Brigid, who was the daughter of a converted Druid. It is believed by some that St. Brigid of the Catholic church was inspired by the Goddess. The two share many features and even a holiday.
St. Brigid’s day is February 1st and lands on the same day as the Irish-Pagan holiday Imbolc, leading some folks to believe that the saint is a Christianized version of the ancient goddess. However, no study has found there to be any historical link between them.
Brigid was likened to the Roman Minerva, the Greek Athena, as well as the Proto-Indo-European goddess of the dawn.
Brigid has also been known to go by Dana or Danu, though they are also separate deities.
In mythology, Brigid invented Keening, which is a mix of weeping and singing while mourning the death of her son.
Brigid is heavily linked to Irish Holy wells.
Brigid is also known for prophecy as she was worshipped by seers.
She is associated with fire due to her associations with the hearth and smiths
Ultimately there is very little historical information about Brigit, surprising considering she is so popular now and was popular even in the past.
