penelope clearwater headcanons
she hates quidditch. despises it. this makes being friends with percy, marcus, and oliver all the more difficult.
cho looks up to her like an older sister.
(she sits through all the quidditch talks solely for her sake)
penelope and percy are best friends, despite being in different houses. they just get each other in a way that the others don't.
she's panromantic and demisexual. when it comes to having crushes on people, she has almost no preference as long as they care about schoolwork.
penelope has always been proud of her house, but secretly, when she was younger (and as she grew up), she wanted to be in gryffindor. percy's the only one who knows.
she and marcus act a bit like an old married couple.
she ends up sleeping in percy's bed at least once a week. nobody knows how she gets in, because percy stopped giving her the password in 2nd year.
(when percy isn't there, maybe on a walk or already in oliver's room, she gets in adrian pucey's bed instead because he's the only one in that room other than percy who doesn't snore.)
penelope's patronus & animagus forms are both weasels
she becomes senior undersecretary to the minister for magic (aka percy). shenanigans ensue.
she may be nerdier than percy, but she also has way better fashion sense than him, and is probably the best dressed of the friend group.
she thinks romance, all romance, is funny. when percy and oliver get together they get no mercy from her teasing
most younger students are scared of her
when she and oliver found out remus was an alcoholic when he came to teach at hogwarts (even if he was trying to sober up), they broke into his quarters and made him give all his whiskey to the giant squid. surprisingly, it worked.
penelope is not, contrary to popular belief, a skeptic. she used to be, but then she met luna "probably a seer" lovegood and all that went out the window.

she despises percy's family. where he's like "yeah my family sucks sometimes but i'm over it", she's ready to kill all of them.
on that note, she's a bit unhinged, but she hides it well. only her friends truly know the extent of it
she, percy, oliver, and marcus have meetings in the room of requirement. whenever she calls the meeting, she shows up at least five minutes late, for "dramatic effect" or something.
if she ends up with anyone, it's marcus, and it's not until they're like 28 or something. she kissed him on new years purely because she was annoyed at percy and oliver snogging right next to her
(if they have kids, they name them percival and cedric, which is cute and not confusing in the slightest :))
when they get older, in their 20s or so, penelope starts calling percy "mr. wood" whenever he says something stupid. within a year all of their friends do it. oliver always gets mock offended but actually he thinks it's hilarious
penelope is percy and oliver's oldest daughter, lucy's, godmother. lucy is obsessed with quidditch. penelope does not think this is as funny as percy and oliver seem to.
penelope was the one who walked percy down the aisle. it was the first time anyone (except him) saw her cry
penelope is obsessed with flowers, and she knows all about them. she forces her friends to garden with her. eventually professor sprout gives her some space behind one of the greenhouses to make her own garden.
when sirius is proven innocent or whatever he gets really confused about why there is a newly graduated penelope constantly gatecrashing to hang out with remus (turns out her and oliver forcing him to become their friend during 7th year paid off)
she and percy make like 20 spells together before they even graduate hogwarts, and they eventually co-author a book on magical theory.
penelope, percy, oliver, and marcus are all animagi, and it was penelope's year to try and do that. she didn't like the idea of having to keep a mandrake leaf in your mouth for a month, so she just invented a new way of completing the transformation.
(when sirius finds out they first transformed in 4th year and without mandrake leaves, he's pissed.)
penelope goes with percy as his date to the yule ball (while he's helping supervise it) solely because they want to snoop around
during quidditch games, she always cheers for whichever of her friends' teams is playing. if it's a gryffindor v slytherin match, she cheers for the team of whoever annoyed her the least that week.
(if she's been really pissed off at her friends lately, usually because of too much quidditch talk, she will go out on a ravenclaw game day with her face painted blue and bronze and scream her head off just to spite them.)
people are scared of her. she likes it that way.

Pedro boy sexuality & gender headcanons
A couple weeks ago @perotovar shared their headcanons around Pedro characters and their sexualities and gender identities, here. It was such an interesting read as someone who has had many of my own thoughts around these things, it was really cool to see how someone else sees these characters through a queer lens and the little things in their characterisations that make us connect these thoughts to them, and that makes us connect to them in the way we do.
I mentioned that I would share my own thoughts and so, here we are! We actually have basically the same hcs. Just for a few of the boys for me though as I tend to stay in my Ezra & Dieter corner for the most part. I don’t know some of the other characters well enough to have any major thoughts about them.
I would love love to hear from other queer members of the fandom here, if you have any thoughts to share!
Also obviously these are just my silly little ideas and just for fun, I read all flavour of fanfic and whilst I would love to see more work from an lgbtq+ perpective I will happily consume all the (perceived) straight fic out there.
(I will also just ask that if you feel I have used any outdated/incorrect language here please let me know, I’m always learning, and I’d like to be corrected if there’s anything in here that could be considered harmful).
Ezra – I’ve mentioned it before and maybe it’s just because Ezra is my favourite character of all time but I very much see him as non-binary, genderfluid, using primarily he/they pronouns but doesn't mind any pronouns, and who really doesn’t care about or consider gender much at all. Honestly, this is a sci-fi character and I’d like to think that when we get to the point of living in space gender won’t even be a damn thing anymore lol. In the same vein, Ezra is pansexual.
Dieter – Bisexual king, of course. That’s literally canon. He would most likely label himself as queer and leave it at that though, rather than specifically defining himself as bi. I love to think about Dieter as somewhere under the non-binary umbrella but I’m not entirely sure where yet; gnc although again there is some fluidity there. Also, Dieter’s ideal way to love is in poly relationships, for sure.
Marcus P – Marcus is bi. He is a beautiful bi boyfriend, just look at him. He took a long time to come to terms with his sexuality, but now he is much more comfortable with it and allows himself to have the experiences he missed out on when he was less accepting of himself, and now he can be proud of who he is.
Joel – I actually hadn’t really considered Joel much in this way until Erin’s hcs but now...oh man…Joel is aromantic (and graysexual maybe). I feel it in my gut, like especially thinking a lot about the stuff with Tess. I don’t necessarily think it’s something he fully understands about himself, even in his later years, but it’s there.
Javi P – Hetero. Loves women. We know that. But, I can also see him questioning. I think when Murphy shows up, there’s something there. Something in his mind. He’s the least likely to ever act on it, given the external factors, but he’s certainly had moments of thinking about it which unfortunately probably cause him a lot of anguish.
Din – Aroace. I don’t even know what to say, this just feels very real to me.
Marcus M – Demi oh my god very much demisexual and demiromantic. He needs the connection first, and the rest will follow. He loves hard, and he loves forever when he gets there, much like Erin said he only ever really loved his wife.

also these headcanons don't stop me from reading fics/headcanons that go against anything i state here. i'm always open to different thoughts/interpretations of these boys and always down for queer representation, no matter the form it comes in.

obviously we've got the canon boys - dieter (i see him not giving two shits about pronouns and is happy to be referred to in any way) and oberyn being bi, and silva being gay. i love that he's played multiple canonically queer characters, and i never see people taking advantage of that?? ok not never, there are a few that acknowledge these three love men and i love those writers to death, thank u for your service lol

marcus p (pan, prefers women/fem aligned people)
frankie (bi, loves equally)
javi g (pan, prefers men/male aligned people)(i could also see him questioning his gender a little? might start liking "they" once in a while)

nico (pan, loves equally and is a bit of a slut and we celebrate that here)
max p (pan, loves equally, but probably said/did some things that were harmful in college to impress his bros. he was in a frat, wasn't he? was 100% closeted until being turned.)
ezra is nb/gnc and is pansexual. i see him using he/they pronouns. every time i see your icon i do a little happy dance lol
din is demisexual and really only has feelings for cobb
marcus m is straight and demisexual, really only loved his wife and is content to keep it that way
shane/dio is gay and is very closeted/overcompensates a lot
ok and we've got the ones i believe are straight, however:
joel is straight, but is completely comfortable with himself. has gone to a gay bar or two in his time and was very flattered when men would hit on him/buy him drinks. also, i could see him just like, not feeling anything sexual/romantic after tess. i do think he and tess were romantically involved; i don't think it was just sex/physical. it's really not something i see him caring about after her. so he's gotta be somewhere on the ace spectrum.
i'm kind of on the fence about javi p, because i could see him going one of two ways; he's either experimented and came to the conclusion that he's just more attracted to women than anyone else, or he's near violently straight. and that's either a combination of the time period he's in, or some other reason. but ultimately i think he's straight.
pero is straight, but like, probably in denial about himself. it gets lonely as a merc and when you're traveling with a bunch of men all the time? i could see him just like, not caring one way or the other. a hand/mouth on his dick is still a hand/mouth on his dick y'know what i mean? lmao
maxwell is straight, and is the only one i can see being a tad homophobic before either someone tells him hey, maybe that way of thinking is bad, hm? it's the 80s, it would make sense, but i can see him having a complete turn around and being a total ally. probably a little cringey, but he's got the spirit! lol
(juan diego)veracruz and omar are straight af and probably never questioned it.
dave is straight and loves carol only. i could also see him being one that experimented but decided he only loves women.

Bear Castle Chronicles 2.0
(actually there has been at least 4 different versions but let's not go there...)
I have officially un-shelved BCC (reintro here) after almost 2 years of hiatus. At the time I was very frustrated with it and felt like I didn't know anymore what I wanted and what was it's point. Now I have rediscovered a passion for it. With more distance to the story, I can more easily see the darlings that need to be killed and where I want to take this story. I will be rewriting some of the worldbuilding and restructuring the plot. Hopefully I get back to drafting it soon.
I drew some of the most central characters as I was thinking about the fashion. There's no big departures from my previous ideas, but I have much clearer image about the fashion in my mind now, so mission succeeded. I will use this as an opportunity to do a little re-intro to the characters. There is some changes to them, some older (which I never publicly introduced) some I have done since I un-shelved this WIP.

During summers in her last two years of high school, she performed for tourists in Branson, Missouri, living with her Aunt Gracie.
She met Cathleen Spengler when they were in an off-off Broadway production of Kiss Me, Kate; Cathleen was playing Katharine/Lilli Vanessi and Willow was playing Bianca/Lois Lane. The two struck up a friendship, and shortly after Cathleen gave birth to her second daughter Marie, she introduced Willow to her friend Ray Stantz. After a whirlwind courtship, the two tied the knot on Halloween 1990.
She was nominated for Best Featured Actress in a Musical at the Tony Awards in 1991 for her role as Sister Ruth in a musical adaptation of Black Narcissus, but lost to Daisy Eagan.
She would later win Best Leading Actress in 2001 for her role as Polly Kern in Red as the Curtain, a Drowsy Chaperone-style vaudeville satire mixed with the blood and guts of Chicago.
Both of her pregnancies were rough-- her pregnancy with Addison was especially uncomfortable and the labor/delivery was fraught with complications, while during her pregnancy with Natalie, she was still dealing with the emotional fallout of the Spenglers' perceived betrayal.

My headcanons that you won’t be able to pry from my cold, dead fingers!
This is a compilation from various pieces of fiction.
Severus Snape loves musicals and has everything possible on vinyl. Wicked and Fiddler on the Roof are his favs.
Every single one of the Konoha 12 - sans Naruto - has a crush, however minor, on Naruto.
Itachi Uchiha is either Asexual or he’s Demisexual with Kisame Hoshigaki as his only point of interest ever. I oscillate between the two regularly.
Yuri Plisetsky is Asexual and Aromantic.
Aro of the Volturi isn’t straight. This is based on the fact that while Caius and Marcus fell in love and ‘mated’ vampires, Aro only chose to take a wife to appease the masses. While being ‘mates’ is described as being something uncontrollable, Aro literally just looked for a human woman who fit his requirements and convinced her to let him turn her. Specifically done this way because he felt that what Caius and Marcus had was a weakness and would get in the way of his plans to seek power. Having a wife doesn’t mean he’s straight. Also, as the Volturi are 3000+ years old, I believe wholeheartedly they cannot be homophobic especially since they’re from around 1000 B.C. Greece, before Christianity fucked the world over.
Crowley ranted about Aziraphale to Freddie Mercury and Freddie wrote Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy in response.
Kaname/Zero is a much better ship than Kaname/Yuki or Zero/Yuki. It simply makes more sense.
