danu is known as the mother of irish gods. she is the mother goddess of the tuatha dé danann – in fact, these supernatural beings take their name from Ddnu, as the name tuatha dé danann translates to ‘the peoples of the goddess danu.' she is strongly associated with nature, as well as regeneration, wisdom, death, and prosperity. it’s thought that she passed on her own wisdom to members of the tuatha dé danann, as well as her creative and crafty talents.

Áine: Áine (Ania) é a deusa do amor, da fertilidade, da agricultura, da riqueza e da soberania. Ela é associada ao sol.
Airmed: Airmed (Armed) é a deusa da cura e do herbalismo.
Cailleach: Cailleach (Caili) é uma idosa divina, associada à criação das paisagens e ao inverno. Ela está ligada ao festival Samhain e na Escócia é conhecida como Beira (Bira).
Clíodhna: Clíodhna (Clina) é a deusa do amor, da beleza e da vida após a morte. Ela também é a Rainha das Banshees.
Dagda: Dagda é a figura paterna, rei e druida. Ele é associado à fertilidade, agricultura, masculinidade, força, druidismo e sabedoria. Ele pode controlar a vida e a morte, o clima e as colheitas, bem como o tempo e as estações do ano.
Danu: Danu é a mãe dos deuses irlandeses, ligada à deusa Dôn do País de Gales. Sua tribo é a Tuatha Dé Danann ("o povo de Danu"). Alguns acreditam que o rio Danúbio tem esse nome em sua homenagem.
Lugh: Lugh (Lú) é o deus do sol e deus militar, que protege comerciantes e viajantes. Ele está associado à habilidade em múltiplas atividades. Lugh está ligado ao festival Lúnasa.
Macha: Macha (Marra) é a deusa da soberania. Ela é associada à terra, realeza, guerra e cavalos. Várias figuras chamadas Macha aparecem na mitologia e no folclore irlandês e acredita-se que todas derivam da mesma deusa.
Manannán Mac Lir: Manannán mac Lir é o deus do mar e rei do Outro Mundo. A Ilha de Man foi nomeada em sua homenagem.
Brigid: Brigid é a deusa da cura, da sabedoria e da criatividade. Alguns acreditam que ela seja uma Deusa Tríplice, três irmãs chamadas Brigid: a ferreira, a poetisa e a curandeira. Historiadores sugerem que a deusa foi sincretizada com a cristã Santa Brígida. Brigid está ligada ao festival Imbolc.
Ériu / Banba / Fódla: Ériu (Eiru) é a deusa matrona da Irlanda. Com suas irmãs, Banba e Fódla (Fôla), ela fazia parte de um trio de deusas. Quando os milesianos chegaram na Irlanda, as três irmãs pediram que seu nome fosse dado ao país. O pedido foi concedido a elas, embora Ériu tenha se tornado o principal nome em uso (Banba e Fódla ainda são às vezes usados como nomes poéticos para a Irlanda).
Morrígan / Badb / Nemain: Morrígan (Morigan) é a deusa da guerra, do destino e da soberania. Ela é frequentemente retratada como um trio de deusas, todas irmãs, Morrígan, Badb (Bá) e Nemain (Nemen).
Tuatha Dé Danann: Tuatha De Danann (Tuá De Dana) são as principais divindades da mitologia irlandesa. Todas as figuras citadas acima fazem parte dessa tribo. Eles são retratados como reis, rainhas, druidas, bardos, guerreiros, heróis, curandeiros e artesãos que têm poderes sobrenaturais. Eles habitam o Outro Mundo, mas interagem com os humanos e o mundo humano com frequência.
Hy-Brasil: Hy-Brasil (Rai- Brásil) é uma ilha fantasma que fica no oceano Atlântico a oeste da Irlanda. Diz-se que é envolta em névoa, exceto por um dia a cada sete anos, quando se torna visível, mas ainda não pode ser alcançada. A etimologia do nome Hy-Brasil é desconhecida, mas acredita-se que venha do irlandês antigo: Í: ilha e Bres: beleza, valor.
Tír na nÓg: Tír na nÓg é uma ilha paradisíaca e sobrenatural de juventude eterna, beleza, saúde, abundância e alegria. Seus habitantes são os Tuatha Dé Danann e outros seres sobrenaturais. Tír na nÓg é descrita como um lugar belo, mas geralmente perigoso ou hostil para os visitantes humanos que permanecem na ilha por um período de tempo que normalmente é de três dias ou três anos.

I live next to a church my jesus n mary worship can be there.
I plan to worship more actively, and pray more. Especially before meals and bed. :3

Photograph of an absolutely beautiful doe who showed up in the backyard just now. Sorry it's grainy and dark but it was distance photography in the pitch black night on a phone, so considering it actually didn't come out all that bad. There were actually two of them, both does, but only this one was close enough to photograph. What a beautiful auspicious sight. I love nature ❤️☺️

Danu is a Celtic goddess of nature. She is the mother of the Tuatha de Danann, the first faeries, and she associated with fertility and the earth. It felt right to color her in earth tones.

The first one was from a prompt for the promo group: "Starts with the Letter D" - I chose Danu, the gaelic mother goddess. The tattoos were knot work I found on the 'net, cleaned up, colored woad blue, and added to the skin texture.
The second was inspired. After rendering Danu, I knew I needed to render The Morrigan.

Los Tuatha Dé Danann (AFI gaélico: /t̪ˠuəhə dʲeː d̪ˠan̪ˠən̪ˠ/ AFI hibernoinglés: /ˈtuəhə deɪ ˈdɑːnən/) es decir «pueblo de la diosa Danu» también llamados Tuatha Dé, es decir: "pueblo de los dioses", fueron el quinto grupo de habitantes de Irlanda según la tradición del Lebor Gabála Érenn (Libro de las Invasiones). Se trata de los antiguos dioses irlandeses goidélicos a los cuales los redactores cristianos convirtieron en soberanos y héroes históricos
Incluso después de ser reconocidos como gobernantes de Irlanda, personajes tales como Lug, Mórrígan, Aengus y Manannán mac Lir aparecen en las historias ubicadas siglos más adelante, demostrando todos los signos de inmortalidad.
Ériu
también conocida como Éire o Erin. en la mitología irlandesa, hija de Ernmas de los Tuatha Dé Danann, era la matrona epónima diosa de Irlanda. El nombre inglés para Irlanda viene del nombre Ériu y «land» que procede del germánico, el antiguo noruego o el anglosajón.
