Yes, I'm sure today (September 10th, 1966) will be the last anyone sees of Red Skull or the Cosmic Cube.

Red Skull took him by surprise? Doesn’t matter
Red Skull had a gun trained on him? Doesn’t matter
Red Skull is turned into a living god by the cosmic cube? Does. Not. Matter
Steve gets up and he wallops the nazi bastard right across the chops.

I had this page saved in my drafts for a while but I forget which issue it's from. Does anyone know? The art style is so cute!
Basically I was trying to make a collection of Reed being obsessed with ~*cube*~ for my own amusement. (I like how his 1610 counterpart also shared this trait, but the results of his obsession obviously turned out more disastrous)

"....THERE'S SOMETHING I THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE [COSMIC] CUBE. I THINK IT'S ALIVE."
PIC INFO: Spotlight on Earth-9997 Black Panther as the panther-human hybrid [king] of Wakanda (transformed by the Cosmic Cube, no less), with Storm as his Queen, and the Ani-Men as his loyal subjects -- Textless cover art to "Universe X" Vol. 1 #8. May, 2001. Marvel Comics. Artwork by Alex Ross.
"Aaron, there's something I think you should know about the Cube. I think it's alive. At first, it was used as a weapon against the Kree by the Royalty of the Skrull homeworld. It could create anything from a thought. But the power of the Cube could not be contained. They say the Cube destroyed two-thirds of the Skrull Empire alone. In the years that followed, the Cosmic Cube learned sentience and became the being the Shaper of Worlds."
-- KYLE RICHMOND (formerly known as Nighthawk) to X-51

(Ignore Steve being put in someone else’s body. Cosmic Cube shenanigans)
This is the first introduction, first hand shake between Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson. Sometimes you open and comic and you realize that you’re looking at HISTORY right there!
