has there been any other bad guys the critters have faced?
I am VERY GLAD that you have asked me this, anon. Because if I am honest I did have some antagonists in mind but I was unsure of turning them into actual characters or not, so you just gave me the little push that I needed xD
Meet... THE ANTICS ANIMALS!! (name being a courtesy by @rexmk0153universe-blog ) A troublemaking trio that are usually around Jolly Valley in order to cause mischief or simply annoy the Smiling Critters. They go by: Big Bad, Vanny Vixenique and Eagle McTriskter!
I would like to make a more appropriate introduction post for these characters in my main art account sometime, since their full personalities and roles have yet to be fully stablished(?

BTVS SEASON 6 - BIG BAD - DEBATE.
Now, you know my stance if you’ve seen any of my posts about Season 6 of ‘BTVS’. Dark Willow is the BIG BAD of Season 6 for me. She’s too awesome to not give her that honour. I love her too much not to. I mean come on - look at this bad ass. She’s a fantastic villain.
But I’ve heard other interpretations - both from the fans and the creators - that can be just as valid.
I’ve heard “Life”
I’ve heard “The Core Scoobies”
I’ve heard “Warren”
I’ve heard “Depression”
I’ve even heard “Bunnies” (thanks Anya 😂👌).
There doesn’t seem to be a unanimous agreement on who/what is actually the BIG BAD of Season 6.
So I want to start a debate on it. I want to know other interpretations/assumptions/ideas/insinuations.
Perhaps you believe there isn’t a BIG BAD at all.
Explain why and how. I want to know. Debate!

i need a name for him, but he is the Big Bad of my story.
Kinda started the whole plot because of killing meo meo and reincarnating her twice.
he also killed many innocents, and ezikiel.
he, of course now isn’t alive, but a ghost who watches everything, giggling to himself.
He escaped an insane asylum 3 times, each time he killed every member in the hospital.

Granny and Big Bad calling you sweetheart.
Granny and Big Bad getting in your space; Big Bad always wrapping his big thick arm around you and holding you close while he charms you. Granny getting you to sit on his lap whenever he can, wanting it to become second nature to you.
Granny and Big Bad sharing a look if you ever tried to leave them and then suddenly Big Bad throws you over his shoulder and they lock you away in a little cottage until they trust you not to try that again.
Granny and Big Bad calling you doll.
Granny and Big Bad hating it when you smell like anyone else- uniting about the fact that they've got to cover you up in their scents again.
Granny and Big Bad getting to you separately, individually, alone, in order to leave marks on you- it's a silent battle. Who can leave the most obvious markings for everyone to see. You end up looking totally ravaged.

Well, that ain't gonna be a problem! XD). And! The cottage??? Oooooh lord have mercy XDD (does this mean i could be their Snow White? Or another princess that stayed in a cottage??)
But!! Since this is Fairytale land and some people are like, aware of the fact that they're a fairytale, what if the whole cottage thing was more just slightly annoying to reader?? I mean, you don't LIKE it, obviously, but since this is Fairytale Land, this isn't seen as TOO too bad since you know that eventually you'll get out? And hey, it could be worse than a cottage in the woods. Like they could have slipped a love potion in your drink, or locked you up in a dark and dank dungeon instead. So uh... They get points for that? I guess? XD but again, still annoying, "Guys, don't you think this is a little bit overkill?" "Hmmm... Nope!" "Of course."
To add onto exasperated Reader. I'm just imagining that scene from Megamind where Roxanne was just like "Girls! Girls! You're both pretty. Can I go home now?" But with reader and the wolves XD their just watching these two bicker once again like -_- "Sooo should I just go now?" XD
Oooh dear, all those marks (this got me very, very bad). Imagine if somebody sees that!! Either reader is flustered and trying desperately to explain without giving their personal life away, or they're just so damn tired of dealing with this every time Granny and Big Bad get competitive... Which is all the time XDD

I started reading "Big Bad" and it's really great so far.
I love how the author has somewhat made it from the villains' PoV, afraid of the Big Bad Slayer come to destroy their world... and you almost feel bad for them and root for them. Almost.
That's definitely no easy feat and takes true talent. (It probably helps that Anya is one of the main main characters, and she of course is more gray than anything else.)
But the setup of the plot is great, and I'm curious to see where it goes and have my suspicions. The characters are wonderful so far. I'm definitely having fun in this crazy, backwards world.
Also, Anya and Angelus seem to like each other in this universe (moreso Anya liking Angelus thus far), which is definitely interesting. But I could definitely kind of see it in a universe like this (hell, Anya did check Angel out in the series proper)... But it's also so sad, of course, since they can't have fuzzy feelings for their actual soulmates in this world. Unless the ending goes the way I think it's going to.
Though I guess we do get some Angelus flirting with Buffy in a malicious way (I've seen it in reviews for the book), that in one way you would kind of expect of him/them, but then also not because part of that in S2 when he turned evil was because of their previous relationship that they don't have here. But I'm not there yet. We'll see how it's handled when I get to it.
I guess Darla left Angelus for The Master in this universe. ROFL.
Edit: Also, Spike is a bartender at the Bronze--that's become a vampire bar in this universe--which I love, because ever since I read a Buffyverse AU set in the 20s where Spike ran a speakeasy, this kind of thing has just made so much sense to me. And in this book, Dru sings there every night and Angelus owns the Bronze. LOL
Edit: I also love that I feel that this book, at least somewhat, has arguably gone to a darker place than "In Every Generation" (though I love that series!) and the Boom stuff, imo. Because after having a conversation with @bisexualblckcanary, I started to worry that now that Disney owns Buffy, it might be starting to lose some of its classic horror in its newest iterations... for obvious reasons. But at least this book shows that Disney is willing to let them play every now and then, perhaps.

Another post where i talk about my Oc's! And it is *drum roll* ✨Clover's✨ time!
Why now? Because of this post, that's why:
I can't really say much about Clover since it's kinda a mysterious antagonist. Spoilery territory. Who are they? What do they want?? The thing that matters is that this character singlehandedly added a few content warnings to my campaing.
Clover is the leader of a gang that has control over The Drunkman's Luck, a casino famous among sailors for it's brewed nectar, located on the southern part of Alumbra near the secondary waterway and it's famous distillery.
Or at least it was a few months ago, for the distillery is now a pile of debree, ashes and rusty pools of metal after an incident during the winter's solstice festival that ended up in a fire.
The thing is, while part of the party was running from Clover on the distillery that night, trying to fight them off, another character stumbled upon their corpse, rotting under the casino. Clover was too.
This creature, that is referred to as Not-Clover by my players (and evil dacre Montgomery by me), took on the poor soul's appearance and identity, reasons yet unknown. It is a shapeshifter of some sort but it looks like they like their last victim's face.
Now,
In a final face off on the distillery's roof, while the other part of town was immersed in celebration, this creature:
collapsed a hallway killing a child.
cut one of the PC's arm
On top of
Murder
Treason
impersonation
Non consensual mind reading
And other secret ones i won't discuss because spoilers to my players
Causing:
A Npc betraying the party
A PC's immolating himself so the rest of the party could escape
All this while:
Looking fab
Using a deck of cards to attack sakura card captor style
Regenerating while bleeding floating black goo

Hey friends! I'm starting my own art challenge this October for funsies! :D I'm posting it now because if you're anything like me, the only way you can conceive of completing a full 31-day art challenge around your schedule/energy is if you have another full month on top of that to work on it ahead of time, lmaooo
But!! There's no pressure to do all 31 prompts, or even any pressure at all! This is purely for fun and there's no real deadline or requirements. I'm literally just doing this for my own amusement, and if you wanna join me, then yay!! :D
The theme is CuteBruteTober, and runs on the classic trope of the big, scary, monstrous, brutal-looking character who is actually sweet and sensitive at the core. Gimme a gigantic bruiser who gently pets kittens, a hideous monster with a collection of stuffed toys, a homicidal maniac who helps old ladies cross the street! I eat that shit right up!

So she's basically an Evil Dorothy?
I noticed she had some red heeled shoes to go with that red dress as you were talking about her wanting to go home so I immediately thought of The Wizard Of Oz. 🤪
Very interesting character study of this character. I'll admit I've been a bit flippant with Glory. Not really showing her the respect she deserves. But that's only because I personally do not like Big Bads just to be Big Bads. Villains being evil just to be evil bore me for the most part. But your assessment that Glory has a tragic traumatic story driving her motivations has made me think twice about her. I mean don't get me wrong... I think she is a wonderful villain as villains go but I NEVER thought of her as much more than that. Certainly not the way I view Dark Willow or Angelus, who always had much more depth and complexity and nuance to them. This analysis has actually made me reassess my thoughts on her a little bit. Well done.

Emil Fletcher
This is an oc of mine that will be in a story. Idk when I’ll do anything other then drawings of the the world that I’m creating but we will see.Also I did not add his plague mask because he does have a special custom one.
Basically this whatever this will be if it is a written story, animation/show type thing, or something else the series will be called “DSOH” it stands for something in the show. But I’ll probably post it sometime later. DSOH in the story is a company of sorts. A group of “doctors” basically the story is a fantasy type world where there is a plague. And this is our “big bad”.Don’t be fooled by that smile he is evil.
not much I’d known about Emil Fletcher but he is the leader of DSOH. I wonder what that means about this company….. anyhow ! This will be an interesting project so hope you guys like him.
Maybe one day Emil will be a tumblr sexy man lol. Also fanart is fine if anyone wants to do fanart. (Which they won’t lol)But if you do please give credit to me as the creator of the character. The All Consuming Bloodfeather
They set the Sealing Stones into the spider-like lock sealing the throne room doors. One by one the dark metal spokes bend themselves out of the doors and in one final push the doors fly open. Twisted metal flies into the throne room, swirling around with the Stones glowing brightly.
The party braces themselves for the final encounter in the Darklands. The Third Expedition have been through hell and are ready to end things. The vile King Bloodfeather must be taken out to restore this land to life.
But no one was there.
The Sealing Stones and lock continue to twist themselves into a shape, a barbed crown with each Stone set into a spike.
"Uh... I guess we won?" Zackley offers hesitantly.
"Nnno." Chroma Ignischilde nervously licks his eye. "Something isn't right here."
"It's not over yet." Cosmina Sophia von Angora growls.
The black raven who had acted as their guide and friend throughout this journey slowly steps towards the crown.
"No, Cosmina... but it will be soon." Their friend says, mournfully. He reaches up and takes the crown, slowly lowering it to his brow. "You have to end this. You have to end....me!"
A blinding light bursts forth from within the bird as his feathers transform into a brilliant effervescent glow.
The bird turns back to his once friends, grinning as wide as any corvid has.
"Thank you, friends." he spits the last word sarcastically. "For bringing me the stones which bound my essence and restoring me to my full power. After so long with so little.... I am feeling....hungry...."
