6 inches was not large enough to include the lettering and everything in the design, I'm a little disappointed.
I probably could have done it if I had a thinner sharpie.... but I don't so I didn't!

Colour choices limited to what I have access to with ceramic paints because I am going to make myself a little inspo decor for the kitchen at some point. I am planning on it being a challenge to get the small details.
Dancing bunnies as a bonus.

The blue around the eyes looks like it is going to be a light blue, but the base paint I mixed is called Galaxy and it dries an extremely light purple and comes out of the kiln a stunning dark blue.
To get Frank's dark blue, I tried adding a touch of another blue and a dab of white. It might not turn out to be Frank's true blue around his eyes, but I think it'll come out acceptable in the context of the piece.
I am surprised how well this is going and I am dreading putting in some of the black lines because I am so afraid of messing it up. My black lines are never straight enough for my liking...
Spent too long in the digital space I suppose.

This is a silly ha-ha kind of piece but honestly? This means a lot to me. It's been a theme in life recently and it is extremely important to me.
I live with chronic pain and it has gotten much worse this last year. My spouse and I have moved and are now fairly isolated from friends and family, while also failing to make friends in our new town.
Every day is a struggle against my body, against depression, against exhaustion. Who knows, maybe it's why the themes of Hazbin and Helluva have resonated with me so hard and how I have fallen into these OCs more than others lately.
But every day my spouse and I laugh, we joke, we lift one another up. Sometimes it doesn't do much, even the best most compatible person in the world cannot fulfill the gaping void left by alienation and pain, but even so we are together and we try so hard for one another.
To say every day is heaven with you is a bit of an exaggeration (but that's what musical numbers are for, aren't they?), but at the very least I get a touch of heaven every day. Pinpricks of levity in the heaviest of times.
I hope in my heart everyone can find someone to bring them a little piece of heaven every day. Even if it's a friend, a colleague, a pet, a spouse, a parent, a child.
I hope you all have that. I hope you all can find that.

I used my old pictures of the Bixbees as pose reference for these lil guys and I gotta say I really miss my hand-tame javas. Even if mine turned out to be little blood sippy-sipping monsters. Spicy Lapis in particular would go after my cuticles and try to rip them open so he could drink my blood.
I stopped them when I saw/felt it happening but the first few times caught me off guard and it was weird to have a tiny birb.... so voraciously go after my blood.
