as for Moon - ooh many parts since it's a gradual process! here's a few:

at first he was just intensely curious, and there was the natural sense of gratitude that comes with Y/N having freed him from the net. once he had a chance to calm down, he realised the fact they kept coming back to free him despite his aggression was pretty admirable

he finds their brief moments of ingenuity both fascinating and infuriating. when they avoided cutting his wrist free only to hand him the knife, was when he realised how they had planned ahead. he thought they would be naive enough to just set him free, and the fact that they weren't made him re-examine their interactions until that point. and then they do something dumb, and he facepalms (fondly)

this is dipping into my own mental image of Y/N, but he likes the way they look. he thinks their two tails (legs) are weak and silly in an endearing way. their braids remind him of his esca, and he enjoys having a similarity to them. he thinks they resemble a pretty silver fish, and he's dying to get a closer look to examine all the stuff he finds unusual, like their lips and ears and the slope of their nose. he really likes it when they take off the breather

you know cuteness aggression, like when something is so adorable you want to squeeze it? he gets that bad. a lot of their most stressful interactions were made worse by Moon belatedly realising that he's scaring them, but like when a feral kitten is trying to puff and look fierce, he wants to grab them anyway. he's working on it now

their quirks make him smile. their cautious attitude is totally thrown out the window when they see something unusual or get into a working headspace. he likes hearing them ramble because they raise their voice and gesticulate, and forget not to let him close

when reader clung to him after escaping the leviathan mermaid, he was internally screaming (in a positive sense.) though he didn't like seeing them so upset, he was thrilled to lead them home and play the role of protector. he also wanted to hug them back now it was suddenly allowed lol

okay, last one: he sees them interact with other sea creatures, and privately worries that they're just treating him the same, like any old fish. but then they give him a gift, and share their food with him, and tell him about their day and try ask about his day, and suddenly he feels very reassured and special :)

SPN S3E16 but make it Dick and Tim.

Dick and Tim are driving in the car not too long before Dick's soul is supposed to be collected and taken to hell, and they've got one plan left to try to save Dick's life, but they're not sure if it's going to work or not.

Tim starts saying, "If this doesn't go the way we want, I want you to know—" and Dick immediately cuts him off and tries to keep the mood light by singing a song, and it works. Tim starts smiling and singing along with Dick. As Tim keeps singing, Dick's voice slowly drops off. His once carefree expression twists into one of terror as his fate looms over him.

Later, after their plan fails, Dick gets ripped to shreds by hellhounds as Tim hysterically begs the demon to make the hellhounds stop. The demon ignores Tim, and Dick dies a painful and gruesome death. His soul is immediately sent to hell and shackled in bonds that pierce through his flesh. Terrified, Dick screams for Tim over and over, hoping that his little brother will magically appear and save him, but he doesn't.

Dick doesn't see Tim again for 40 more years.

if you're curious about the state of welfare in the us rn I was denied for financial assistance bc my income is too low. so I have to pay full price if I want insurance bc.... I can't afford help???

you all wanting to bang the robots while I'm here wondering if there's any way to grant true freedom to a machine. and if I cannot bring free will, freedom to a machine tied by its false sentience and programming; then how am I supposed to know what freedom is if i am myself a slave of something greater like them.
