This was really difficult to record. I know I’ll get a ton of hate for this, but it was a necessary step in healing. Your likes and supportive comments on the video would be much appreciated. 🩷💙💚🧡

I really wanted to watch wendigoons Greylock video, but I then he mentioned turkey Tom, and then I remembered why I hate his fucking guts
If your friends with a secret alt righter and even invited him to your wedding you surely must be one yourself he knows his history and yet he's so close friends which sickens me how many people let that slide AT ALL

I like SunnyV2 but this is in extremely bad taste. Idek where to begin with this. Jimmy isn’t forcing himself to be okay with this. He’s being supportive of his friend. That’s all there is to it. If people don’t like that, they can leave. He’ll still be successful even after that

My favorite small youtuber might face eviction thanks to their sources of income being taken away thanks to another youtuber's harassment and defamation towards them. If you can afford to donate to their gofundme right now that would be a God-send!
PlaugedMoth is one of my favorite horror channels, they are a damn cool person and while the topics they cover may be disturbing it is also fascinating at the same time.
His youngest daughter is dealing with Type 1 diabetes and Moth has been paying for her insulin out of pocket as they don't want her to ever have to pay for insulin herself.
They have also been dealing with a lot of harassment and false accusations by another youtuber.
Please donate if you can and/or reblog to spread awareness please. I don't want to see my favorite creator be forced into homelessness.
DO NOT INTERACT IF YOU'RE A PLAUGED MOTH HATER!

'Trying to Improve 'The Community'
I don't understand people who claim they want to improve a commentary community yet go off on people's old posts and when they block them, create another account to stalk them again.
Only then to get mad when we tell them to leave them alone lol. In this day and age, people think it's a weakness to set boundaries and not tolerate disrespect. Tbh I feel that setting boundaries convey how one is healed from past experiences and is brave to stand up for themselves and speak on how they feel freely.
If I'm a harasser for setting boundaries and not accepting petty behaviour, that's fine as I know my own truth. I've learned to not let people's flawed perceptions get to me and I hope with this post others who were harassed by this person or anyone like this knows that.

Oh god, Hopless Peaches and Omnia are about to go at it again. The art commentary community cannot handle another damn bout of drama. Please, jesus christ...
Sometimes I wanna go back to when online artists just did speedpaints to cool music. Let's make that popular again. Or maybe just talking about random art facts and history like Thumin, I like Thumin. Let's just completely step away from the hot takes or opinions on touchy subjects.

Yeah, the situation with the senate/fck server or whatever you like to call it is the very last straw for me. What Lio Convoy, Hopeless Peaches, and anyone else involved did was horrible, but it feels like a vicious cycle when I look at certain people calling them out since I'm seeing the exact same behavior. I wouldn’t be surprised if, similarly to Lio and Peaches, they get involved in something just as bad if not even worse and find themselves in a similar situation.
The commentary community just seems to be the perfect environment for toxic individuals to thrive, no different from the ranting community from back in the 2010s where people do things out of spite instead of doing the right thing and get so power hungry that anyone who dares to even suggest they do anything differently is against them and deserves to have their lives ruined.
Not to mention, fucked up priorities.
What solidifies this for me is the blatant transphobia I've been seeing. When you really think about it, it's a lot like the ableism we saw from certain people in the senate where they clearly don't know what they're talking about and use their limited knowledge as an excuse to be shitty to people.

I am still dealing with this harassment. And the trauma never ends. I feel like I’ve lost all hope for the future. This is going to kill me and unfortunately, many people think it’s deserved. I’ve never had a mean bone in my body. I’ve done nothing to any of these people except give them a platform which they used to take advantage of me.
I have been wanting to share my story, because the burden of silence has been slowly killing me. I practiced by posting this with zero hashtags. Now Im having 5 minutes of courage and will try this again. If you know of any way you can help me, please let me know. I lost so many YouTube subs and followers because of them. Do not harass anyone in here, and do not harass me. I'm keeping a file of every hateful message I get.
I got screwed over by my cohosts that I brought on. They abandoned me over my “distracting” health condition, implying that Showtime would feel the same way. I brought on a new co-host and she lied and backstabbed me the moment she felt like she might get more personal gain from the other podcast. She set me up, knowing how bad my mental health was from this.
This is most of the story, told via evidence.

Oh the joy of being the only person you know who understands references to a fandom/internet community. There have been times when I've been singing this to myself, and never do I have anyone to share in the humor.
(On the upside, I've more or less rewritten the Steve McRae part for Shelby Lynn so....)
Ren/Lefty has potential as a creative. If he'd stay out of drama.

Another kind of diversity we need in writing is protagonists without love interests. Give me adults with full-fledged stories that don't include falling in love.

How to Support Writers During the Scourge of A.I. Bullshit
Do
Interact with us. Talk to us. Reach out to us. Many writers physically write for themselves, but they share for others. To build a community and connect with someone, to learn from them, and to make a genuine connection through something they've created. Comments, questions, rambling tags, they all mean that our writing reached someone who genuinely enjoyed it.
Share our work. This does not mean repost, this means reblog and/or send the link to friends and other potential readers. Some writers may have negative experiences with their work being shared on other platforms (such as discord), but reblogging is almost always appreciated so we can reach a wider audience. Even if you don't have anything to say or comment, it will help.
Ask questions. Many writers are dying to talk about the creative choices they made, the word choice they fought with until they got it just right, the details they added just HOPING someone would notice it. If you wish you could get more context/detail about a piece, odds are all you have to do is ask!
Treat us like humans (because we are). Crazy concept, right? The thing that terrifies me the most about all this is the potential that we take humanity out of the arts. We replace it with A.I. until human creativity becomes irrelevant because it's more convenient and more profitable.
We are not robots making content for your entertainment, we are people sharing stories to make genuine human connections and share our passions. Stories that take hours, days, months, even years of our lives to properly craft. We practice and study and learn so that we can express ourselves skillfully. Even when done as a hobby for fun, there is heart and energy and time put into the final draft.
And finally, Don't
Use A.I. for anything. Because the more it's used, the more advanced it becomes. The more advanced it becomes, the harder it will be to discern a genuine human touch between an A.I. regurgitating what it's been taught.
In the end, this is a plea. I'm begging you. Do not give A.I. the ability to replace us.
