Boyfriend Material Summary:
WANTED:
One (fake) boyfriend
Practically perfect in every way
Luc O'Donnell is tangentially-and reluctantly-famous. His rock star parents split when he was young, and the father he's never met spent the next twenty years cruising in and out of rehab. Now that his dad's making a comeback, Luc's back in the public eye, and one compromising photo is enough to ruin everything.
To clean up his image, Luc has to find a nice, normal relationship...and Oliver Blackwood is as nice and normal as they come. He's a barrister, an ethical vegetarian, and he's never inspired a moment of scandal in his life. In other words: perfect boyfriend material. Unfortunately, apart from being gay, single, and really, really in need of a date for a big event, Luc and Oliver have nothing in common. So they strike a deal to be publicity-friendly (fake) boyfriends until the dust has settled. Then they can go their separate ways and pretend it never happened.
But the thing about fake-dating is that it can feel a lot like real-dating. And that's when you get used to someone. Start falling for them. Don't ever want to let them go.
City of Night Summary:
Bold and inventive in style, City of Night is the groundbreaking 1960s novel about male prostitution. Rechy is unflinching in his portrayal of one hustling 'youngman' and his search for self-knowledge among the other denizens of his neon-lit world. As the narrator moves from Texas to Times Square and then on to the French Quarter of New Orleans, Rechy delivers a portrait of the edges of America that has lost none of its power.
On his travels, the nameless narrator meets a collection of unforgettable characters, from vice cops to guilt-ridden married men eaten up by desire, to Lance O'Hara, once Hollywood's biggest star. Rechy describes this world with candour and understanding in a prose that is highly personal and vividly descriptive.

City Of Night 2020 by Miracle Of Sound
LYRICS:
City Of Night
Black spires in the city sky
They shimmer and shine tonight
Hacked wires and electric eyes
And a billion flashing lights
And I can wish myself away
Change the parts that bleed decay
I'm just a number riding solo in the code
Electric embers will ignite
I'm just another lonely nomad on the road
I'm a ghost in the city
I'm a ghost in the City Of Night
Tech dreams of organic toys
And I'm runnin' out on the edge
Soft screams of the rockerboys
Echoing through my head
Hounds and demons mechanize
Biotech behind our eyes
I'm just a number riding solo in the code
Electric embers will ignite
I'm just another lonely nomad on the road
I'm a ghost in the city
I'm a ghost in the City Of Night
Media manipulation
Silicone Psycho smile
Netrunner navigation
Breach and leech and file
I'm just a number riding solo in the code
Electric embers will ignite
I'm just another lonely nomad on the road
I'm a ghost in the city
I'm a ghost in the City Of Night
Now I’m runnin’ out on the edge
Running out on the edge
I’m a ghost in the City Of Night

wonderland is a really nice series, I love the clear ear orbs with card suits inside, and the exaggerated pink blushing.
kinda funny how their faces both exude the same levels of being 100% done

You never know when someone is going to break! But I must admit, there’s something pleasurable and cathartic about going a little nuts every once and a while.

Faggots Summary:
An extremely blunt tale of life in New York City's gay scene in the 1970s. A snapshot of gay life and sex, of cruising and fire island written before AIDS. I have a half finished (I'll never finish it) review / blog post titled "The Gay Gatsby" . It adds so much important context to Kramer's later writing and activism during the AIDS crisis.

My nayme is bird
And wen it's Yule
And Swedish snow
Lies cold and cruel
I look for seeds
With many friends
But food is scarce
Where flock descends
But then we hear
Of ancient rite
We leave the trees
We all take flight
If fire not
Its end promote?
We do the deed.
We eat the goat.

'City of Night' (Secrets & Sin #1) - Linsey Hall
Welcome to the City of Secrets & Sin
When I inherit a haunted bookstore in New Orleans, I go from demon hunter to my dream job. Unfortunately, there’s a dark side to my beautiful new life—the gorgeous demon who seems to think he owns the place. And me.
The attraction between us is insane, but I don’t trust him one bit—especially not the way he uses his seductive charms to try to compel me to work for him.
When a young girl is kidnapped from right outside my house, he’s the first person on my mind. I just can’t figure out if he’s the culprit or my fiercest protector. But I do know he has answers. And I have to resist his dangerous allure, because to give in is to risk losing everything—including my life.
