SBI+ Cooking
Philza: He can cook, but only very basic foods and travel foods. He can make food out of everything and anything he gets his hands on though; it just won’t be very tasty or fancy.
Kristin: Can cook, but since she’s a goddess everything she makes is divine and has unintended effects when consuming.
Technoblade: He can cook extremely well, but he insists on only cooking potato-based recipes (they’re all surprisingly good). He likes to show off how fancy he can make potatoes into a dish.
Wilbur: He can brew potions, and he can make any drink you desire, but you do not let this disaster man anywhere near the kitchen.
Niki: An amazing baker, and a great chief. Everyone trusts her cooking always. She definitely knows a variety of ways to hide poison in food.
Tommy: Has never needed to learn how to cook anything before in his life, but enjoys baking with Niki. Exile had him learn how to cook more food.

No, actually, I will talk about this.
CC!SBI doesn’t exist. The content creators have stated on multiple occasions that they aren’t a real group, that three of them made one joke while tired, and that while they’re okay with people referring to them as SBI it’s not official or real. It’s just a fandom concept.
C!SBI also doesn’t exist. Both CC!Techno and CC!Phil have stated multiple times that they would have played their character differently if they were family. So fans making fanfics where SBI are a family isn’t canon to the dsmp storyline or characters.
I have seen fanfics where Wilbur is Tommy’s dad. I have seen fanfics where Techno is Tommy’s dad. I’ve seen fanfics where Tommy, Wilbur, Techno and Phil were all brothers. I’ve seen fanfics where Tubbo and/or Ranboo were also siblings with SBI (less after the c!beeduo marriage). I have seen so many different versions of Awesamdad and different combos of his kids. I’ve seen Ghostbur and Wilbur as twins.
But apparently, when I say “what if Niki was triplets with Wilbur and Techno?”
I get people acting like it’s a completely novel concept to add in characters into C!SBI? Or to even mess with the way the dynamics are?
I don’t want to jump to any conclusions… but me wanting to be able to include at least one female character when I write family dynamics and finding a fun and interesting solution to that…
It’s a little bit frustrating to see people rant about canon… for a dynamic that isn’t canon at all…

If there's anyone out there that cares about flower language and symbolism like I do, I made an informal write-up some time ago about the in-game flowers (that you can put in your house) and the different symbolism that they can mean.
I included the symbolism for the in-game colors as well when they were available.
Also as a disclaimer these could be incorrect, have contrasting meanings, or have different meanings in different real-world cultures. White chrysanthemums (kiku) are usually a funeral flower in Japan for instance. (My Japanese professor once said they were a faux pas for her to receive in a bouquet!) So your mileage may vary!
This was simply a fun personal project I made for myself that I thought other people might enjoy as well! So here's a question to answer in the tags:
What flowers would your WoL have in their residence?
Arums (calla lily) 🔷magnificent beauty, feminine modesty
Brightlilies (easter lily) 🔷purity, refined beauty 🔷White: virginity, purity, majesty 🔷Pink: wealth and prosperity 🔷Red: warmth, desire 🔷Yellow: gaiety, falsehood, "I’m walking on air" 🔷Orange: hatred
Campanulas (bellflower) 🔷humility, constancy
Chrysanthemum   🔷cheerfulness, "You’re a wonderful friend" 🔷Red: I love you 🔷White: truth 🔷Yellow: slighted love
Cosmos 🔷harmony, peace, modesty, "the joys that love and life can bring", beautiful
Dahlias 🔷dignity, elegance
Daisies 🔷innocence, beauty
Lilies of the Valley 🔷return of happiness, sweetness, humility, purity
Oldrose 🔷Red: I love you, love, beauty, passion, romance 🔷Blue: mystery, attaining the impossible, love at first sight 🔷White: innocence and purity, "I am worthy of you", reverence 🔷Yellow: decrease of love, jealousy, friendship
Shroud Cherries (cherry blossom) 🔷spiritual beauty, a good education
Tulips 🔷perfect lover, fame 🔷Red: declaration of love, true love, eternal love, romantic love, "believe me" 🔷Yellow: hopeless love, unrequited love, brightness, sunshine 🔷White: ask for forgiveness, purity 🔷Purple: royalty
Hyacinths 🔷sports, games, rashness 🔷Purple: I am sorry, sorrow, "please forgive me" 🔷Red: play 🔷White: loveliness, "I’ll pray for you" 🔷Blue: constancy, sincerity 🔷Yellow: jealousy
Hydrangeas 🔷heartlessness, boastfulness, "You are cold"
Morning Glories 🔷love in vain, affection
Violas (violets) 🔷modesty, faithfulness 🔷Purple: daydreaming, "You occupy my thoughts" 🔷Blue: watchfulness, love 🔷White: candor, innocence 🔷Yellow: rural happiness
Byregotia (begonia?) 🔷Beware
Carnation 🔷fascination, love, distinction 🔷Red: "My heart aches for you", deep love, admiration 🔷White: sweet and lovely, innocence, pure love 🔷Yellow: "You have disappointed me", rejection, disdain 🔷Purple: capriciousness, changeable
Moth Orchid 🔷love, beauty, refinement, beautiful lady
Sweet Pea 🔷departure, good-bye, delicate pleasure, tender memory, blissful pleasure
Triteleia 🔷 They're a North American wildflower also called 'triplet lilies' or 'Ithuriel's spear' which is a reference to John Milton's epic English poem, Paradise Lost. It's about an angel sent by Gabriel to find Satan in the Garden of Eden. Satan, in the form of a toad, is introducing evil suggestions into the ear of Eve when Ithuriel pokes him with a spear. Satan then returns to his true form, "for no falsehood can endure Touch of Celestial temper, but returns Of force to its own likeness." It is to an unknown but imaginative scholar of English letters that we owe the common name of this plant.
Long story short, I can't find any symbolism for this one. Would make a possibly good Halone/Ishgard reference if you wanted to read into it, though!

Hi Everyone!! Here are some brand new next gens for my Blossom Love AU. Cole, Cherry Cream, Fruity Parfait, Cherry Latte and Miles's parents are Ogden Ortiz and Cherry Jubilee. Cole, Cherry Cream and Fruity Parfait are a set of triplets with Cole being the oldest, Cherry Cream being the middle child and Fruity Parfait being the youngest in the trio. Cherry Latte was born a few years later then followed by Miles a few more years after that. Cole is a huge sweetheart and loves to listen and help others with their problems. He's also very kind and loves animals. Cole is an expert mixologist and can make any drink into a cherry themed drink hence why he got his cutie mark. He currently works as the same bar that Sasha (Mike Schmidt and Jeremy Fitzgerald's daughter) works at and he has a pretty good friendship with Sasha. Cherry Cream is super sweet, very strong and doesn't like to take anyone's shit especially when it comes to them making fun of her family and friends. Cherry Cream is a world renowned musical artist and often has gigs at the same bar that Cole and Sasha work at. Her love for singing and her beautiful singing voice is how she got her cutie mark. Cherry Cream and Sasha also have a good friendship with each other. Fruity Parfait can be very shy and quiet, but once you get to know her better, she starts to come out of her shell and is very bubbly and sweet. She's also super smart and has mastered a dozen languages. Fruity Parfait can make amazing cherry themed jellies and jams, which is how she got her cutie mark. Cherry Latte is kind and really bubbly, but can be very timid especially around new people. She's amazing at making floral bouquets and arrangements for any occasion whether it be for Valentine's Day or even Easter. Cherry Latte wants to be a florist when she's older and have her own floral shop. Miles is very bubbly and loves to be around his family. He's also quite curious about most things and is often staring in awe at anything he sees as interesting. Credit goes to Selenaede and Painterede for the bases I used and to Monomi Park, Scott Cawthon, Fandom Artist Rebornica, Lauren Faust and Hasbro for creating Slime Rancher, Slime Rancher 2, FNAF and My Little Pony:Friendship Is Magic as well as creating the characters, Ogden Ortiz, Mike Schmidt, Jeremy Fitzgerald (Rebornica made the character designs and personalities of Mike Schmidt and Jeremy Fitzgerald while Scott Cawthon made the actual characters.) and Cherry Jubilee as well. I only take credit for my next gens, art, ships, stories and the Blossom Love AU. I hope you guys like them!!!

Trancy triplets x daki! Little sister (but she is nicer to them, this can be considered a part two this post: https://www.tumblr.com/griffin-flyshigh/727415436597231616/the-trancy-triples-as-older-brothers-with-a-human)
You were a were a human when you first met your brothers. You were the missing piece and you could tell from the first moment your eyes met. By then you were 17 and they must have been a few hundred years old. You met in your cousin Alois’s manor. He’s long dead now.
You rang away together into a large house in the woods. It had all you needed. You had a back yard with a large cherry blossom tree that you to three would play chess and Timber would carry you back inside on his back when you fell asleep and started drooling on the picnic blanket. They admit you were a bit spoiled. Centuries of having three demon older brothers giving you everything you ever asked for. You wanted to live in peace in the woods. You blinked and they build you a whole manor. But you deserved it, you were their baby sister. And you treated them so well, you hummed to them as you stroked their heads while she laid on your chest or in the bed with you. “I love you brothers.” You’d whisper before you would drift of to sleep. You didn’t like working for other peoples souls so they’d share theirs with you. You giggled as they tore that persons soul and they screamed and they hand fed it to you.
That cherry blossom tree was burning now. And a tall man stood over with bloody gloves was your headless body held your head in its lap and tears streamed down from your eyes. Your brothers were out and you weren’t taught as a demon like they were. They’re were holes in the walls and your pink kimono was falling off of your shoulders.
“Barely put up a fight…” a smooth silky voice said, “are you sure you’re a demon?” The man said as bright green eyes stared back at you. “Your soul should have died over a century ago.”
“Don’t give me that crap! I’m stronger than you!” You growled “So what makes you think that I’m not a demon?!”
“Sorry but you can’t be a real demon…” they said in a snarky tone.
“I’ll have you know THAT I AM A UPPER RANK DEMON!” You wailed.
“Then why are you holding your severed head d in your hands right now?” The green eyed man said pointing at you.
“Just because my heads off doesn’t mean I’ve lost yet! IM AN UPPERANK DEMON!” You screamed from your head as your body cradled your head in its lap as if trying to comfort you.
“I think it’s clear you’ve lost, in fact this wasn’t even a battle.”
“I’m just to powerful for you to comprehend!!!!” You barked at him. This was so embarrassing, what would your brothers think? When ever they’re home and an intruder comes their blood is served to you in a wine glass. “I may be weak right now, but I’m going to get even stronger!”
The green eyed man pulled out a book and placed on his glasses. “Don’t recall asking darling.”
Your fist clenched so tight that your nail dug into your palms. A lump formed into your throat when tears started pouring out of your eyes and your whimpered loudly. Suddenly…you screamed. A high pitched shriek loud enough to break glass.
(Elsewhere)
The boys froze right as they went to grab the new chessboard you asked for because last time you broke it out of a fit of rage from loosing for the 4th time. “Little sister.” Canterbury said softly as his eyes flashed pink. He grabbed the box with the chessboard then him and your other two brother bolted as fast as their legs would take you.
(Back home)
“I AM A REAL DEMON I AM! I EVEN GOT THE BLACK NAILS AND PINK EYES TO PROVE IT!” You wailed as your body slammed its fist on the floor causing the wood to splinter.
“Why are you still talking? Your life record should have started playing…”
“Die! DIE! Oh you can just die!” You screamed. “H-he cut my head off! He cut my head off! Help me…BROTHERS!!!” You begged.
Stood as if from know where your brothers stood infront of you. Timber sighed and clicked his tongue when he saw your current state.
Canterbury snd Thompson both had s blatant look of rage in their eyes. The green eyed man quickly swung his sword going for Timbers head when Timber put out his pinkie finger stopping the sword with the tip of this finger, the green eyed man when flying but but then quickly pulled himself up.
“Woowww, you survived that? I was aiming to kill. What wonderful reflexes.” Timber said blankly. He turned back to you as he head your head over your stump of a neck. Canterbury kneels down and smiled kindly. “Come now little sister. There’s no use crying about it.”
“Can’t you even manage to reattach your own head?” Thompson asked lovingly as he took your head from Timber and reattached it. “Well you haven’t always been the sharpest tool in the shed have you?” He said stroking your hair. “And oh is that a burn on your face? You need to learn to take better care of this face you know! God gifted you such a beautiful one.”
“Demons! I’ll dispose all of you if I must!” The green eyed man yelled. The boys all stood and turned to him with pure look of rage.
You whimper in the back as your ran your finger over the healing line your your neck was cut.
“You attacked our sister…unprovoked?” Timber asked barely above a whisper.
“Brother wait! He wasn’t the only harassing me! There were other green eyed man to!”
“Reapers my darling sister. Grim reapers here to collect your soul that should have burned years ago.” Canterbury said kindly to you.
“Please big brothers, kill the ones who burned me to! Kill them!, I’ve been working away over here and even though I’ve given it my all they still won’t die! I-I feel like I’ve tried everything but even then they just kept getting back up again and picking on me!” You said as your wiped tears. “They just kept bullying me and I just can’t take it anymore!”
By now three other reapers showed up and we’re all holding death scythes. “Ahh I think I understand now…” Thompson said. “Our poor little sister who was only turned a few 100 years ago was trying her very best with what little skill she had and you bullied her, that is absolutely unacceptable!”
“We’ll have to rib out all the spinal cords off those who laid a hand on her.” Timber said before pulling off his gloves and raising his fist. He glanced down at you and held out his hand right as one of the reaper started his…lawnmower? He bend down and pulled the kimono correctly onto your shoulder before turning back to them. “Now we go.”
“You’re dead!” One red head reaper said lunging towards your brothers and you pinched your eyes shut. Not even a second you felt a tapping on your shoulder and jumped. “Sister? Why are your eyes shut? Are you scared?” You gasped as your opened your eyes and saw the house in perfect condition. The lanterns where on casting a beautiful glow into their kind faces. You looked around. There was no blood, no broken wood. You slowly stood and shook your head. “B-but how? Where did-”
“Shush.” Canterbury said as he picked you up bridal style. “But brother what did you-“ you gasped when yo guy felt his hand pulled you closer to his chest. “In the morning. Perfect little sister.”

Half-Demon! Tanjiro AU
Chapter Six:
The Redemption Project
Warnings: blood and signs of a toxic relationship
Word Count: 5889
With the arrival of the Hashiras, and some of the Kizuki, came many new changes. Aoi and the triplets back at the Butterfly Estate celebrated Shinobu's return with tears and hugs. Mitsuri was able to visit her family and introduce them to her boyfriend, Obanai. However, Sanemi couldn't bring herself to face Genya. He was ridden with guilt for what he did to his little brother.
With all these changes happening, Tanjiro thought about what this could all mean. He thought about how the different Kizuki members reacted to him bringing them back. Akaza and Rui made him the most curious. He expected all of them to treat him with resentment, yet that wasn't the case.
He noticed a strong sorrowful scent that came from them when he brought them back. It threw him off guard, but it ultimately made him curious. It was that reason why Tanjiro put himself here. Sitting in front of Kiriya, discussing plans.
"You want to try to redeem the demons?" Kiriya's voice was soft, yet filled with curiosity. Not a single bit if anger or concern could be sensed. Tanjiro nodded. "I know that it sounds ridiculous, but I believe that they can be redeemed, especially now that I can make them half-demons."
Kiriya looked out the sliding doors to the vibrant outside world. The pedals of the cherry blossoms fell slowly and landed in the crystal blue lake beneath the tree. "Why do you believe this?" He asked softly. "I'm not mad, just curious."
Tanjiro knew that he would have to pitch this idea elegantly. He cleared his throat and spoke with a warm, yet determined voice. "Ever since I started working as a demon slayer, I've met many kinds of people. I know that to many of us here, demons seems like creatures of pure evil. However, I know that isn't true. Many of the demons I've met radiate the scent of pain and sorrow and it isn't narcissistic sorrow either. They've lost so much and it made them turn to Kibutsuji."
Kiriya turns back to him, seemingly convinced. He did still seem wary though. Tanjiro took quick notice of this. "I know it sounds ridiculous...but you should've seen the way Rui held onto me on our way back from Mount Natagumo..the way Akaza destroyed himself during the final battle and how the scent of regret lingered around him."
The speech was quite moving and his words fully convinced Kiriya. "This won't be easy.." Kiriya said, almost as if he was thinking to himself. "Both the majority of the slayers and the demons will most likely reject the idea at first." Tanjiro nodded, understanding the harsh circumstances. "I know, but the greatest things in life do come with severe risks."
Kiriya smiled, warmly. "Yet you're willing to do this anyway, despite the risks." He sighed with relief and tranquility. "Alright. I'll let you start this redemption project. Just don't let them devour any humans, alright?" Tanjiro smiled and brightened like the sun. "Thank you, master! Thank you so much!" He got up and bowed, filling Kiriya's heart with happiness. "It's no problem, young Kamado."
Tanjiro turned to leave, but he stopped himself before walking out the door. "Oh! One last thing, master." Kiriya tilted his head, curiously. "Hm? What is it?" Tanjiro turned back to him. "I know that I'm able to bring others back, so.." He seemed to get nervous. "Would you..like me to bring back your father, mother, and sisters?"
A wave of grief and surprise came over Kiriya. He did want his family to be whole again, but he couldn't make a rash decision here. This would be an instant "yes" if it weren't for his father's disease. Kiriya knew that if his father, Kagaya, still had the side effects of his disease, he would be absolutely miserable.
"Young Kamado..as much as I would love to have my father back, I unfortunately have to say no. We don't know if he would still suffer from his symptoms as a half-demon. Plus, knowing my father, he probably would rather accept his life in heaven. My mother would want to stay by his side as well."
Kiriya wiped the tears from his eyes. "But...could you bring back my sisters? They were too young to die and my father would want them to come back." Tanjiro smiled with empathy. "Of course I can. It's the least I could do." He crouches down in front of Kiriya and opened his arms, offering a hug. Kiriya almost threw himself into Tanjiro's arms, sobbing.
Despite Kiriya being the master of the Demon Slayer Corps, he was still a kid. "I'm sorry, young Kamado. I should be stronger." Kiriya's voice was muffled, due to him burying himself in Tanjiro's chest. "It's okay, master. I know that it hurts. There's no shame in grieving." Kiriya looked up at him with a warm smile on his face. "Thank you, Tanjiro. Thank you."
The first people that came to Tanjiro's mind when it came to redemption were actually the Shabana siblings, Daki and Gyutaro. This is because they had one of the strongest scents of sorrow out of any of the demons he's encountered. They were also the only demons who genuinely loved and sacrificed themselves for another. Therefore, Tanjiro did actually respect them.
Nezuko was also surprisingly open to the idea. She too remembered the way they fought and protected each other, so she decided to accompany him. The voluminous moon shone brightly down on them as they headed to the Entertainment District on foot. This took a lot longer to get there then it would have to get someone to ride them there, but they didn't want to risk their demon selves being snuffed out.
A lamp that Tanjiro decided to bring with them, was glowing brightly in his grasp. It lit the night and led them to the recovering Entertainer District. Since the time they fought Undermoon Six, the district has been recovering at a steady pace. Many of the houses and shops have already been rebuilt and were now in full swing.
Tanjiro shuddered at the sight of the place. He hated the way this place treated women and how it used their desperation. Nezuko hid  behind him, feeling nervous from the environment. Her brother gently took her hand into his and looked back at her. "Don't worry, Nezuko. I'm not going to let anything happen to you."
Nezuko smiled in response, but she still hid behind him. Tanjiro sniffed the air, looking for the demon duo's unique scent. "I've got it." He said softly yet excitedly. Both the Kamados sped their pace as they made their way through the center of the Entertainment District. This lead then to the back area of the district.
Houses were being rebuilt from the rubble from the fight. The further south they went, the more destruction they came across. "The battle left everything in shambles." Tanjiro's voice was gripped with guilt. "I know, brother. At least they're recovering quickly, right?" Nezuko said, trying to cheer him up. Tanjiro turned to her and smiled. "Right."
They followed the scent past the rubber and destruction and it led them to an empty spot in the middle of ruins. "We're here, Nezuko." Tanjiro whispered, looking around him. Once again, he saw the red ashes that would form the two demons. Nezuko followed his gaze, having a vague idea of what he's looking at. "Alright, brother. Good luck!"
Tanjiro smiled at her before slicing his hand with his claws, letting the blood drip on the ground. "You're going to have Miss Kocho pump some blood into you by this end of this." Nezuko said, worriedly. "You're probably right." Tanjiro half-heartedly chuckled. The red ashes made themselves visible by glowing brightly and moving closer towards the blood.
Tanjiro closed his eyes and remembered the battle with vivid accuracy. This caused the ashes to come together. They slowly melded into each other, creating the forms of the demon siblings. Nezuko skipped to her brother's side when their forms were almost completely built. The red lights glowed brightly before dying down, revealing Daki and Gyutaro.
Daki stretched her arms while Gyutaro shook his head like a dog. "Where are w-ah!" Daki shrieked as she opened her eyes. "It's you two! What have you done to us?!" She snarled aggressively. Tanjiro raised his hands. "It's alright. No one is going to hurt you."
"Why should we believe you?" Gyutaro made a low growl as he put an arm in front of his sister. "You killed us.." Tanjiro nodded, understanding their concern. "I understand why you don't believe me. You have every reason to be skeptical." The Shabana sibling narrowed their eyes, not believing him for a second.
"He's telling the truth. My brother wants to bring the demons back, so he can try to help them." Nezuko smiled innocently. "That makes no sense! How would he be able to bring us back in the first pla-" Daki looked into the older Kamado's eyes and immediately trembled in fear. "Brother...He..He's the..new Demon King." She gripped her brother's arm like a scared child.
Gyutaro looked back at her, then back at the Kamados. "What do you plan on doing to us? Do you plan on torturing us?! For all that we've done to you?!" Gyutaro tried to mask his fear by growling at them. "Don't you touch my little sister! If you're going to torture someone..torture me." He knew that he couldn't defeat them, so Gyutaro just wrapped his arms around his sister.
Both of the Kamado's shook their heads. "That's not why we're here." Nezuko said softly. "Then why did you bring us back?" Gyutaro spoke in an oddly soft voice, not being sure on how to feel. "We brought you back to give you a second chance." Tanjiro smiled with empathy, catching the demon siblings' attention.
"I can tell that you two must've had painful lives. You wanted others to suffer just like you two did. It must've taken a lot of suffering to get you to that point and I'm sorry. You didn't deserve that. Although what you did to innocent people was unforgivable, I do want to give you a second chance. Demons were once human after all and I can tell that you two truly love each other."
Gyutaro lowered his arm as he listened to Tanjiro. Daki wasn't convinced though. "You're a liar..You don't want to help us! You only want to us-" Gyutaro stopped her by lightly squeezing her hand. "Ume..please." His voice was really soft at this point. Daki turned to him. "Do you really believe him?" Gyutaro nodded. "What other slayer would do this for us?"
This made Daki really put things into perspective. She turned away, closed her eyes, and sighed. "I guess if you believe him..then I suppose I'll stay by your side." Both Gyutaro and Tanjiro smiled at her. "Thank you, Miss Daki." Nezuko beamed. Daki only huffed in response.
The Shabana siblings were quickly taken to the Infinity Castle, where all the other Kizuki members were located. Most of them seemed to be pretty neutral towards them. That is, except for Douma. He seemed to adore them when they returned, much to their dismay.
Tanjiro knew exactly where he needed to go next, the Swordsmith Village! He talked about visiting the village with the same Kakushi that transported him there. "You know..since Muzan Kibutsuji was defeated. You don't need to have someone take you to the village anymore." The Kakushi said in a matter of fact tone.
"Really?" Tanjiro tilted his head. "Well that does make sense, since that was the whole reason why you had to blindfold me." The Kakushi nodded. "Since you may not know how to get there, I still think it would be best if I took you." Tanjiro nodded and smiled. "That would be great! Thank you!"
And with that, the Kakushi led the Kamado to the mysterious world of the Swordsmith village. The beautiful forest around them radiated with mystique and wonder, capturing the essence of beauty in every leaf and shred of grass. "Here we are, Lord Kamado." The Kakushi turned to them. "I'll be here when you want to return."
Tanjiro beamed happily. "Thank you! We'll be back shortly!" Both of the Kamados waved to them as they ran off into the village. All the damage that the village had sustained was now completely fixed. The wrecked houses were rebuilt and every settlement that was destroyed was restored, restoring the town to its natural beauty.
Tanjiro squeezed Nezuko's hand lightly. She looked up at him to see him smiling. "I'm glad you're still with me." He muttered, making Nezuko return the smile. Tanjiro sniffed the air, catching the old, wooden scent of Hantengu. "Over here, Nezuko." He carefully led her to the location of the scent. Nezuko was humming the whole way there.
The scent led them to the same valley where Hantengu was defeated. The red ashes circled around them as they traversed through the grassy plains. Tanjiro looked at her and she nodded. He nodded in response, cutting open his palm to start the revival process. Hantengu's form was completely rebuilt within a matter of seconds.
Hantengu rubbed his eyes as he slowly came to consciousness. Without a warning, the demon shrieked when he saw Tanjiro and Nezuko. "Ah! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" He crouched down and covered his head. Tanjiro sat on his knees in front of him. "Hey, it's alright. I'm not going to hurt you."
"You aren't?" Hantengu lifted his head. "Why wouldn't you?" Tanjiro smiled and tilted his head. "Well, I believe that the demons can be redeemed." Hantengu seemed surprised, yet willing. "Wait. You would do that for us?" Tanjiro nodded. Hantengu stared off at the horizon. "Why..thank you."
Tanjiro purred with warmth. "Of course." Hantengu looked back at Tanjiro. "There's one other Moon here." Tanjiro nodded, already knowing who this demon is. "Uppermoon Five, I'm guessing?" Hantengu looked around their surroundings. "Yes. His name is Gyokko. He should be over there." He points to the shrouded, dark forest close to the entrance of the village.
Tanjiro stood up and bowed politely. "Thank you. I'll meet back up with you once I bring him back." He patted his leg, calling for Nezuko. Nezuko stood up and went to her brother's side. Hantengu watched her, regret gripping at his heart. "Tanjiro?" The young slayer turned to him. "I'm..I'm sorry.." Hantengu said softly. Tanjiro smiled at him. "I have faith in you in becoming a better person."
Tanjiro turned back to Nezuko, who was humming and swaying her arms. He couldn't help but ruffle her hair and grin. "Come on, Nezuko." Tanjiro said softly, leading the both of them to where Hantengu pointed at. Low and behold, he was right. Red ashes filled the area and they circled around the Kamado siblings.
Tanjiro slit his palms and performed the same trick that he used many times before. Gyokko's form quickly came together from the red ashes..which turned to be an absolute shock to the Kamado. During the battle at the Swordsmith Village, Muichiro was actually the only slayer to have seen Gyokko. So, his appearance was startling to say the least.
Nezuko hid behind her brother as he confronted the misshapen demon. Gyokko shook his head, causing the small arms on his head to flail. "Hyo, hyo, hyo! What have we here? A new Demon King?" His voice was completely devoid of fear or even anger. He seemed..excited?
Tanjiro sniffed the air. Unlike with the others, there was no scent of pain or sorrow. Even Douma had one. A buried scent, but it was still a scent! Alas, Tanjiro wanted to be fair with all of them. "Yes, I am the new Demon King, Gyokko."
Gyokko clapped his small arms together. "Splendid! What kind of art are you planning to make? Oh please tell me!" Tanjiro was weirded out by Gyokko's strange persistence. "We don't eat or kill humans...My goal is to redeem the demons." Gyokko looked disappointed, if you can call his droopy mouth eye an expression. "Oh..how disappointing."
Tanjiro's anger flared at his statement, but he kept it under wraps. "Would you like to join us?" Gyokko stared off to the side before turning back to him. "Well, I guess it is better than my own personal death." Tanjiro raised an eyebrow. "You won't eat any humans, right?" Gyokko raised his tiny hands. "I won't.. I can probably make art in other ways.." A sinister chuckle came from him.
Tanjiro huffed in annoyance. "Just don't hurt anyone." He took a deep breath and stood up. "Can you put yourself in your pot? It's the best way I can get you out safely." Gyokko laughed wickedly. "Of course I can! Don't you worry, young king." He slipped his body into the pot below him, causing it to rattle slightly.
Tanjiro sighed as he picked up the pot. Nezuko was tugging on his haori in a worried manner. He turned to her. "I know, Nezuko. Try not to worry." He gave her a reassuring smile. This gave her a bit of comfort, but she was still nervous.
They made their way back to Hantengu, who was just peacefully watching the sun. He looked at them when he heard their footsteps. "Looks like he joined you." Tanjiro nodded slowly, seemingly either deep in thought or perhaps just upset. "Is something wrong, master?" Hantengu asked with genuine concern. "No, I'm fine." He smiled warmly. "We just need to make our way back."
Hantengu nodded. "I can shrink myself, if that'd make it easier." Tanjiro grinned with excitement. "That'd be great! Thank you!" Hantengu stood up and shrunk himself down to only a few inches. Tanjiro bent down and put his free hand down on the ground, so Hantengu could climb on. He did just that and Tanjiro lifted him up and held the small demon close to his chest. "Alright. Now let's take you back to the Infinity Castle."
Their journey back was a smooth one. The Kakushi wondered where Tanjiro received the large pot, but Nezuko told them that he had bought it as a gift for someone. This seemed to convince the Kakushi well enough. Nezuko was a better liar than her brother after all.
The duo or Upperrank demons were quickly returned to the Infinity Castle. Once again, the Kizuki members that were already there felt pretty neutral about their return. Luckily, Nakime showed them where their new rooms were, so the settling process was rather simple.
Tanjiro knew where his last stop would be and he dreaded the idea of going there. The Mugen Train was the last place where a deceased Moon was located. Unfortunately, the demon there not only caused Tanjiro the most pain, but there was a high possibility that he would retaliate. Still, Tanjiro had to be fair with him. He also wanted to be fair with Shinobu, since he had to bring back the one who tormented her the most.
And so, the Kamado siblings made their way to the crash site of the Mugen Train. The sun was setting upon our heros as the night soon began to take shape. Stars littered the skies like diamonds on a black dress. The moon beamed down on the Kamados with mysterious intent as they traversed through the night.
They eventually made their way to where the Mugen Train crashed. The only thing that remained from the wreckage was the tracks that carried the train. It seemed like the train was picked up and repaired for future rides. Whether anyone decided to ride on it again was a complete mystery, but that wasn't the goal of this mission.
Tanjiro, who was holding Nezuko's hand, stopped dead in his tracks when the red ashes were all around them. "We're here, Nezuko." His voice was oddly cold and upset. "Brother? Are you okay?" Nezuko squeezed his hand gently, rubbing the scar on his palm with her thumb. "I just hope this won't take too long."
Thus, he began the revival process. His blood splattering on the ground, the ashes glowing as they were attracted to the blood, and the ashes circling around them to form the titular train demon. Enmu slowly opened his eyes as his form was completed. "Hm? Where am I?"
He looked up to see the Kamado siblings sitting in front of him. "Am I in hell?" Enmu's voice sounded flat and empty. "No" Tanjiro sounded like he was about to growl. "I brought you back." Enmu tilted his head, confused. "How would you be able to do that? You're not a de-" He then caught sight of Tanjiro's shimmering scarlet eyes.
"You..you killed him.." Enmu's eyes widened as he put a hand to his chest. "Muzan Kibutsuji was a ruthless and uncaring leader. He didn't care about your or any of the others' wellbeing. He just used you to get what he wanted." Tanjiro's reasoning was valid and also completely true.
Enmu gritted his teeth. "You're wrong..He cared about me..He gave me purpose..so I had to repay him for all the kindness he gave me!" Tanjiro knew this kind of talk all too well. Muzan used him..he used them all. Tanjiro sniffed the air and there he found it. The same pained scent that had been buried beneath the sands of time.
What once was cold skepticism now turned to understanding empathy. "Listen, he only gave you a false sense of purpose. Muzan just wanted to use you for your power and loyalty." Tanjiro's voice spoke with warmth. "Liar! You don't understand how much he cared for me! You never will!" Enmu growled as he dug his claws in the ground. Tanjiro knew that this poor demon had been manipulated for years.
Enmu growled as he tried to swing his claws at the young slayer, being too flustered to use his Blood Demon Art. Tanjiro jumped up, which startled Enmu since he was much larger than when they last met. The young slayer took this opportunity to grab both of Enmu's hands with one of his own. Tanjiro then shoved him with his foot and pushed Enmu into the ground, immobilizing him.
Nezuko watched all this in awe. He really has gotten stronger! This was a stark contrast to what Tanjiro was capable of back when he originally fought Enmu. Enmu himself was also alarmed by his strength. He wasn't in awe though Enmu was frightened.
He tried to squirm, to break himself free from Tanjiro's grasp, but it was futile. Enmu's hand moved fruitlessly in Tanjiro's. The Demon King bent down and snarled. "I wouldn't do that. If I were you." Enmu stopped struggling out of fear. Instead, he shook with terror and began to panic.
Tanjiro could smell the demon's fear and took a deep breath. "Listen, I didn't mean to scare you, but you must know that what I'm saying is true. I only want the best for you. I promise.." Enmu knew that there was no way out of this. "Fine..I'll join." He closed his eyes in defeat. "I don't want you to think of this as betrayal. He betrayed you by not showing any real love for you."
Enmu didn't listen to Tanjiro's concerned words. "Let's just go.." His voice was absent of any excitement or emotion. Enmu just sounded tired. Tanjiro let go of the demon and took his foot off of his chest. Enmu stood up and dusted himself off. "Is the Infinity Castle still there?"
Tanjiro nodded as he picked up Nezuko and placed her on his shoulders. "Yes, I was actually going to take you there." Enmu looked out at the dark horizon. "Lead the way then.." Tanjiro made a soft rumble as he walked beside him. All of them heading to the demons' refuge.
Now almost all of the Moons that Tanjiro and his friends have encountered were known at the Infinity Castle. Of course, the poor boy was extremely exhausted by the end of this. Not only did he have to travel many miles, but he also lost quite a bit of blood. So, both Tanjiro and Nezuko decided to rest at the Butterfly Estate.
Shinobu had resumed her position as the Corps doctor and medical adviser. So, she was the one taking care of the Kamados. Shinobu constantly insisted that Tanjiro needed to rest so that he could recover the blood he lost. That was what she was doing now.
Tanjiro was sitting up in his designated medical bed. He was telling Nezuko, who was sitting next to him, stories from his adventures that she missed out on while she was a demon. Shinobu then came in with some medicine and tea. "Oh! Thank you, Miss Kocho." Tanjiro smiled at her while she put the items down on the nightstand beside him. "I didn't mean to cause you any trouble."
"You're not causing me any trouble." Shinobu's wings fluttered slightly. "You need to rest and it's my job to take care of you while you're injured. Besides, you could use the break. You've been through a lot these past few days, Young Kamado."
Tanjiro hummed softly. "Thank you. You're too kind, really." Shinobu smiled back. "I should be the one thanking you. I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for you." She looked out the window for a moment. "I do have one question for you though."
Both of the Kamados looked up at her. "Sure! Whatever you need." Shinobu nodded. "I know that you told me about your project yesterday and that the master is going to discuss it with the rest of the Hashira...but I just want to know, do you really think that it's going to work?"
Tanjiro went silent for a moment before speaking. "I believe that it will. They were treated poorly, not only by Muzan but also by the people around them when they were human. Granted, some of them will fight me at first, but I believe that over time they will learn and grow as people. They were human before being turned."
That last sentence of his speech reminded Shinobu of someone she held very dear to her. "You sound just like her." Shinobu whispered. Tanjiro and Nezuko looked at her with worry as she shook her head. "I myself don't really believe that they can change.." Tanjiro frowned, but he understood why she would say that.
"But your heart is in the right place." The Kamados looked up at her in surprise. "As long as you can keep them under control, I'll support you with anything you need." Shinobu smiled at him with motherly intent. Tanjiro returned with happiness and excitement. "Thank you so much, Miss Kocho."
"Ehem, Lady Kocho?" Aoi popped her head in the room. All three of the half-demons turned to her. "Yushiro is here and he wants to visit Tanjiro." The Kamado siblings lit up when they heard Yushiro's name. "Of course! Send him in." Shinobu smiled eagerly. "We should check in to see how he's doing."
Aoi's head disappeared as her voice was then heard talking to the familiar demon. Then , Yuishiro walked in. He didn't have his usual stern look, but instead he looked tired and somber. "Hello, Kamado." His voice was soft as he tried to smile softly.
Tanjiro knew that Tamayo's death hit the poor demon hard. He gave him a soft smile. "Hello, Mister Yushiro. How are you feeling?" Yushiro only turned his head and made a soft hum. "I'm so sorry. I know that it hurts." Tanjiro's voice was warm and empathetic. "It's not your fault. She had to do it."
Shinobu walked over to him and took his hand. Yushiro followed her beside Tanjiro's bed. "I know that things have been rather busy for you." Yushiro looked up at Tanjiro. "I just came here to make sure that you're okay." Tanjiro nodded. "I'm fine. A bit tired, but otherwise okay. I'm more concerned about you."
Yushiro shrugged. "I'll be okay..eventually." That statement made everyone's heart break. They knew that Tamayo was the only person that Yushiro had left over then Chachamaru. Then, Tanjiro started to think. He knew that he was able to separate Shinobu's DNA from Douma and Muzan absorbed Tamayo right before his essence was transferred to Tanjiro. So what if Tamayo's DNA was still inside him? Could he possibly bring her back?
There's no other way to find out than trying. Tanjiro filled his mind with memories of Tamayo. He focused all his strength and energy and imagined that Tamayo was there with them. Then, a sharp pain spread across his body, causing him to let out a vicious scream.
Everyone immediately sprang up to try to help him. Shinobu ran to get some pain medicine while Nezuko tried wrapping Tanjiro up in the blanket. Yushiro didn't exactly know what was going on, so he just panicked. Strangely, purple specks of light rose from Tanjiro.
This threw everyone off guard. Nezuko figured out what her brother was trying to do, but Yushiro was just alarmed. "What's he doing?!" Yushiro's heart throbbed with panic. "He's doing this for you." Nezuko said softly.
Tanjiro's body felt like he was being torn apart as he roared in pain. The purple lights slowly started to come together to form the demon doctor. Yushiro's eyes widened as he saw the love of his life slowly being restored. Tanjiro's screaming died off as the process was completed. He then slumped over in the bed, groaning in pain.
Tamayo then opened her eyes. She looked around the medical room. "Wh-where am I?" She spoke with a daze. "Lady Tamayo?" Yushiro was in complete disbelief at what was in front of him. Tamayo turned to him, her eyes widened. "Yushiro?" The demon's assistant buckled to his knees and started to cry. Tamayo immediately went over to him and hugged him tightly.
"I missed you.." Yushiro sobbed into her shoulder. "I missed you too." Tamayo said softly and she hugged him. Shinobu then came in with the pain medicine. She looked up at the scene in front of her and almost dropped her medicine out of surprise. "Tamayo? Is that really you?"
Tamayo turned to look at Shinobu. "Shinobu? You're here.." Tamayo smiled at her. "I'm so glad." Tanjiro groaned in pain as Nezuko tried her best to comfort him. Everyone turned to them. "Oh my..What happened, young Kamado?" Tamayo stood up and went to his side, followed by Yushiro.
"I had..to bring you back..it was the least..I could do for you.. and Yushiro." Tanjiro winced weakly. Tamayo smiled at him and started to pet his head. "Thank you. You didn't have to put yourself through so much pain just for me." Tanjiro only closed his eyes in response. Shinobu went over to him and helped him sit up. She took a spoonful of the medicine and gave it to him. "There. That should help him."
"Thank you." Nezuko hugged her weak brother. "Of course. He's probably going to have to stay here for a few more days then." Shinobu sighed. "I could stay here to help him." Tamayo offered. "Just to make sure he gets better." Shinobu nodded and smiled. "That'd be great. Thank you so much." Tamayo gently ruffled Tanjiro's hair. "It's the least I can do."
It was a good thing that she offered too, since Kiriya ordered for the Hashira meeting the next day. The master waited patiently for all the Hashira to arrive. Which they did so rather quickly. Shinobu was the first to show while Tengen and Sanemi were the last. Rengoku walked in with Giyuu and Mitsuri did the same with Obanai. Gyomei walked in with  Muichiro by his side. Then, they all took their place in front of the master.
"Good morning everyone." Kiriya beamed. His two sisters, who had originally died in the explosion with their parents, were now sitting next to him as half-demons. "Good morning, master!" Rengoku boomed positively. The others followed suit in greeting the master.
Kiriya smiled softly as they finished. "As we all know, Tanjiro and the majority of you are now half-demons." The ones who were converted nodded. "Well, I have gathered you today to tell you of a new project that Tanjiro is starting up." They all looked at each other curiously, except for Shinobu of course.
Kiriya took a deep breath. "Tanjiro is going to try to rehabilitate the demons." Most of the Hashiras looked at each other with confusion. "What?! With all do respect master, there's no way that Kamado seriously believes that those things can be redeemed!" Obanai hissed angrily as his tail wrapped around Mitsuri's waist.
Kiriya nodded. "I understand your concerns, but don't worry. Tanjiro has complete control over them." Rengoku smiled and huffed. "He's right! Young Kamado already has a demon who's already changing for the better!" Sanemi looked at him crossly. "You mean that Lower Moon runt?"
"Sanemi..there's no need for language like that." Kiriya's voice was strict and venomous. "Well, I've met him and he seems very sweet! He is just a child after all." Mitsuri chirped. "That doesn't change the fact that he's still a danger." Obanai hissed aggressively.
"He passed the blood test." All the Hashiras turned to Kiriya. "I cut my arm to see if he would take it, but he didn't. Rui has no bloodlust." They all looked at each other. "Is that really true?" Muichiro asked. "It is. I was there when it happened, and so was Shinazugawa." Giyuu said in his usual stoic voice. Sanemi just turned his head and remained silent.
"Still..this project of his is going to be a failure." Obanai scoffed, crossing his arms. "Maybe, but then again, maybe not." Gyomei spoke softly. "We won't know exactly how successful this can be. He sees something in them that most don't. I wish only the best for him."
"I hate to say it, but Himejima's right." Tengen spoke. "Who knows how successful this could be. Plus, Kamado is more powerful now than he ever was. So, he'll be able to keep a hold on them." Sanemi sighed. "Do we have to get directly involved?"
Kiriya shook his head. "Not in the redemption process, no. However, I will be sending you on missions to convert other demons. If they consistently refuse, then kill them. Just don't kill them just because you want to." Obanai huffed irritably. "I guess that's better than working with them."
"Don't give him a hard time. Young Kamado just wants them to have better lives. Who knows what they've been through." Rengoku said, trying to convince them. Both Obanai and Sanemi scoffed. "Just keep them away from me."
Kiriya sighed, tired from all the fighting. "I know that this is a lot to digest, but I promise you that you won't be taken away from your families again. Try to live the life you want to live." All the Hashira nodded. Giyuu then looked up at the ceiling. "That's what Tanjiro wants for everyone."

If They Proposed
| Masterlist |
Notes:
While everyone here are adults, consider some of them drastically different from their canon (pre-epilogue) selves. I won't be carrying over some of them to the NSFW blog for obvious reasons, but this would be a fun what-if.
Tanjiro:
Tanjiro was pretty calm when proposing to you. It was at the end of a New Year's display of fireworks when he knelt beside you, took your hands, and asked you to marry him. Your friends cheered when you accepted, Zenitsu grabbing Nezuko in a tight hug, Inosuke looking confused but cheering anyway.
Nezuko:
Nezuko was very nervous about proposing. She spend a whole month getting everything ready with Tanjiro and Zenitsu, from getting you a lovely ring and practicing what she'd say to setting up a time and place to propose on your birthday. When the day came, you had dinner with the gang, and Nezuko took your hands and asked you to marry her. You immediately said yes, and Tanjiro gave his blessing, happy for his little sister.
Zenitsu:
C'mon, how couldn't Zenitsu be nervous? He spend a month trying to muster the courage to do it, buying a ring and asking your cultivator for permission to marry you (he really didn't have to, but your cultivator was so touched and amused for the young man that they said yes anyway).
When the day came, he took you to a festival and proposed under the fireworks. He was so relieved to finally ask you that he fainted when you said yes.
Inosuke:
Inosuke proudly told Tanjiro that he was going to marry you (he was a little confused, but he was happy to help anyway). With the younger man's help, he got an engagement gift of a pendant and set up a date with you.
On the day of the date, he took you to a pretty clearing in the forest and set up a picnic with you. When you pulled out some desserts, he shoved the pendant into your hands and asked you to marry him. When you accepted, he grinned and shoveled some dango into his mouth.
Giyuu:
Giyuu made absolutely sure that your parents approved first. With their permission (really, they wouldn't have said no anyway), he set up an engagement meeting with the both of you. You were surprised when he declared his want to marry you, but you quickly accepted. Your parents were over the moon and gave you several gifts.
Kyojuro:
Kyojuro casually asked you over dinner with his family. His father nearly did a spit-take and Senjuro looks over at you with sparkling eyes. When you accept, his father reluctantly admits that you would be a good addition to the family, and Kyojuro brings you all in for a group hug.
Muichiro:
Muichiro asked you underneath the cherry blossoms. He worked to give you a ring with your slayer marks engraved into the metal and proposed. You accepted.
Shinobu:
Shinobu arranged for you to meet at the estate for dinner and asked you there. She gave you a hairpin and proposed in front of Aoi and the girls. When you accepted, the triplets were overjoyed, chattering amongst themselves for when the wedding would be.
Gyomei:
Gyomei first asked your parents if they consented. They agreed almost immediately and helped him pick a time to tell you. He came over for dinner and asked you to marry him, and when you accepted, your parents gave you engagement presents.
Sanemi:
Sanemi was scared as hell to ask you. He wasn't expecting to live long as a slayer, much less find a girl that he wanted to marry. Still, he asked you on New Year's if you'd marry him, and when you accepted, he begrudgingly agreed to tell Genya too.
Akaza:
Akaza was very nervous about popping the question, considering the last time he agreed to marry a girl, well, life happened. But this time, he asks you under the full moon with a ring. When you accept, he tears up a little.
Douma:
Douma was fairly casual about the whole thing. He asked one of your kids about what to do, and they graciously helped him out. He asked you over dinner with your kids. He held out a small statuette of him kneeling before you, a ring made of ice in the figure's tiny hands. When you accepted, he took the ring off of the statuette and gave it to you.
Kokushibo:
Kokushibo is quite old-fashioned about the whole thing. He would ask your family permission to marry you, but since he's a Kizuki, he doesn't believe that they'll agree to it. Thus, he asks your aunt (who's fairly sympathetic to demons) for permission. She's uneasy about it, but she reassures him that eventually, your parents will come around.
He proposes to you at dinner, giving you a pretty pendant with a crescent moon engraved onto the back. You accept with a smile, although the task of telling your parents continues to be a stressful conversation.
Muzan:
Since your parents have no idea that Muzan is what he is, when he visits them with you (in his male form, interestingly enough), they agree immediately upon seeing his charming demeanor and promises that he can provide. He then proposes over dinner with a ring. You accept, and your parents give you engagement gifts.
Yoriichi:
Yoriichi is a simple man, a quiet man, who uses one of your times in private to propose. He first makes sure your parents approve (they readily do, seriously, they've been waiting for this day for literal YEARS), and when he knows, he meets with you and shyly asks if you'd marry him. When you happily accept, he gives you a gentle smile and hands you a pendant with a (birthstone) hanging from the end. (You both later do a more formal proposal in front of your parents, who give you engagement presents.)

Questions and answers below the cut. I won't be answering question 3 because I haven't fully selected that Kamaboko Squad.
1: MPCS Nezuko, what are your opinions on the other 12 Kizuki?
OOC: Funnily enough, an ask from before the Q&A answers this one. You can see it here.
2: Uta and Ranhime in MPCS and AMSG; How did you meet the Tsugikuni twins?
Ranhime:
MPCS -> I met them at the Butterfly Mansion. Uta kept gushing about how bad she felt, and I'm impressed with how forgiving Yoriichi is.
AMSG -> Michikatsu and I had a brief duel on Mount Natagumo, then I knocked him out. We've discussed the event, and we're on much more amicable terms.
Uta:
MPCS -> I... Might have broken Yoriichi's jaw. And tried to decapitate Michikatsu. Yoriichi mentioned he forgives me, but Michikatsu hasn't stopped giving me a stink eye. Sometimes three. I need to figure out how to make it up to him.
AMSG -> I met Michikatsu on the road to a mission, then Yoriichi at the Wisteria House. I may have freaked out a little from how cute he was. I know they're twins, but there's something about Yoriichi that just... *Squeals*
4: Kotoha and her mentor in Burning Ribbons, What's your relationship like, and how did you meet?
Kotoha's POV here.
Urokodaki: I will admit, I never expected to have a student Kotoha's age. At least, not without prior training. But she's been an excellent student, and I'm sure she will get along well with Giyuu. I'm also quite grateful she survived Final Selection.
5: S&TF Kamaboko Squad, Do you have any hangout places? If so, where do you most commonly go?
Kanao: Outside the Butterfly Mansion? Not really. Not as a group, anyways. Zenitsu usually stays in his box unless it's night. Then he wanders around, or hangs out with us.
Nezuko: The Butterfly Mansion, when I'm with the group. If I'm not, then I've occasionally taken a nap in trees. Tengen taught me some good balance techniques, so I can stay there for hours without falling. Plus, it's the last place people look, so it's a good choice when I feel like being alone.
Aoi: With the others, we stay at the big house with the butterfly people. But I also like to wander the woods.
Tanjirou: If I'm not with my sisters, Inosuke, or the girls, I like to mediate next to Victory. The cherry blossom tree from the first user of Flower Breathing. The scent is calming, and it's usually quiet.
Inosuke: I usually stay in the dojo to wind down. Especially after dealing with patients. Or I'll wander the garden. The air feels nice there.
Genya: Usually, I hang out with Himejima or 'Nemi. Sometimes, I'll hang out with Tanjirou or Inosuke, if they aren't too busy.
6: SE&BH Hashira, Kamaboko Squad, and Ubuyashiki, What do you think of this? *Presents a car*
Nezuko: It's pretty advanced, compared to our models.
Tanjirou: Yeah.
*various sounds of agreement*
7: Sunlit Blossoms Nezuko, Aoi, Butterfly Triplets, and Kanao; How do you all feel about each other?
Nezuko: Aoi and the triplets have been a big help in my recovery after some of my missions, and Kanao is a really talented Slayer. Plus, Kanao makes Tanjirou pretty happy, so I can't complain.
Aoi: I admire Kanao and Nezuko's courage, and the little ones' help has been invaluable around the Butterfly Mansion.
Kiyo, Sumi, and Naho: Miss Aoi is a great mentor, alongside Miss Shinobu! Yeah, and Miss Kanao and Miss Nezuko work super hard while slaying demons! They're all awesome!
Kanao: Aoi and the triplets are like sisters to me, so I care for them greatly. And Nezuko is an excellent friend and sparring partner.
8: Mirrored Sunset Kamaboko Squad, How did you meet?
Ume: Nezuko and I met when she was still training, and I was a few months into my career as a Slayer. Hashira business with Gyutaro and Douma... Dad... I'm still working on what to call him... Anyways, I wandered off, and found Nezuko and Tanjirou in their room, and we became fast friends!
Nezuko: Yeah, then we actually went on a mission together a few weeks after my Final Selection. That's the mission where we met Senjurou!
Senjurou: Mhm. I was pretty nervous about Tanjirou, though. But he's really nice, so I warmed up to him.
Nezuko: Then we met Inosuke at Douma's place.
Inosuke: I'm sure we would've met on a mission if I wasn't grounded...

I vote leo meeting the harvard team! 💕
So this fic has been a bit of a mare to write, but we are here!
You can read the first part of this here
Rating: T
CW: Alcohol, academic superiority complex and coming out.
Logan, Finn, Leo, Percy, Will and the general Sweater Weather universe belongs to @lumosinlove. The other team members were made up by me for this fic.
“Okay, tell me their names again,” Leo said, tugging at the rolled neck of his sweater as he shut the car door.
“Nutty,” Finn laughed. “There’s not going to be a pop quiz. We’ll introduce you when we meet people.”
Leo scowled, letting Logan thread their fingers together. It was weird being able to do this in public still and Leo couldn’t help but glance around. “I just don’t want to make a fool of myself.” Logan squeezed his hand reassuringly, meeting Leo’s gaze with a soft smile.
“Nobody expects you to know anything. And everybody’s great.” Logan wrinkled his nose like he’d just smelt something bad. “Except Wesley, he’s an ass, but I’ll point him out.”
Like many of the others in Harvard square, the building was all exposed brick and white accents, blending in seamlessly with those around it. Inside was different, more modern. Leo didn’t get to see much of the first floor, the one dedicated to the restaurant Finn, Logan and the rest of the team had dined at previous evening, before he was ushered up a grand staircase, but he’d seen the photographs. The cherry blossom ceilings and walls of glass provided the perfect backdrop for the instagram feeds of the hoards of celebrities and influencers that flocked there. Hence his surprise when, after checking their invitations again, an employee pushed open a set of double doors to reveal a room that more resembled a 1920’s speakeasy than anything 21st century. A loud cheer went up as they crossed the threshold.
“Is this a team thing?” Leo mouthed at Logan.
He got his answer from Percy Marshall. Leo had met him a few times before when they’d played the Rangers. “You’re the last to arrive,” Percy chuckled. “I’d say I was surprised, but that would be a lie.” He slapped a hand playfully against Finn’s bicep. Is this outfit change number 52, Finn? Don’t worry, you didn’t disappoint. You look wonderful.”
“Fuck you, Marshy,” Finn laughed. “Tremz was on a call to his sisters actually.”
“Oh, I do apologise,” Percy clasped his hand to his chest. “We wouldn’t dare break up a Tremblay soiree.”
“You’re an ass,” Logan scoffed, plucking at Finn’s slacks. “I was only talking to them because Finn was taking so long. Did you know there are several shades of mustard and only one of them goes with this shirt?”
“Oh look, they argue like an old married couple too,” William Morgan, another of those Leo knew, and Percy’s teammate on the Rangers, teased. “Marshy, these hands are looking too empty. Get these men a drink.”
“Aye, aye, capt’n.” Leo set to follow as Percy led the way to the bar, stumbling slightly as he found Will’s firm grasp on his shoulder stopping his movement. Logan turned as his fingers slipped from his hand.
“Go ahead, Tremzy. I’m going to introduce Leo to some of the team. We want all the gossip without you two around to censor him.”
Logan frowned. “I’m not sure -”
“Relax, Logan. This isn’t a hazing. We’ll be right over there,” Will pointed towards a group perched on stools around two of the tables in the centre of the room, a mix of the old team and what Leo assumed were their partners. “Knut’s a big boy. He can object for himself if he really doesn’t want to come.”
“I’m sure I can hold my own,” Leo cocked his head slightly and smiled. “You better not leave Harzy with Percy for too long. They’ll be three shots down by now.”
The next few hours passed in a whirlwind of introductions. Leo had lost count of the number of hands he'd shaken and the new names he'd learned. It reminded him of those first few days in Gryffindor, being shuffled around from place to place and everybody telling him he'd get used to it.
The quiet of the bathroom was a welcome reprieve to the chaos. “Sweetheart,” Leo laughed, listening to Finn sing to himself in the stall. “Are you okay? You’ve been in there a while.”
“I’m coming, I’m coming.” A concerningly loud crash preceded the door being pushed open. “I’m here.”
“You’re drunk,” Leo chuckled.
Finn pulled his hands from under the stream of water, shaking droplets everywhere as he squeezed the tips of his thumb and forefinger together. “Maybe just the tiniest bit.”
Leo shook his head fondly. “Let’s go and find Lo.” Glancing back to check Finn was following him proved to be a mistake. “Shit, I’m sorry,” he apologised, rubbing at his forehead and stepping back from the wall of muscle he’d just crashed into. Of course, the tall man with his hair pulled back into a loose ponytail was the one person Leo hadn’t yet met.
“Leo, this is James. Call him Hunter,” Finn grinned with his hand resting in the small of Leo’s back. "Hunter, this is -"
"Leo Knut. I know. Everybody knows," Hunter said and Leo noted the familiar notes of his own accent in the words. He faltered with his hand thrust halfway in Leo's direction, letting it fall back by his side. "Oh fuck, sorry man. Did you want to introduce him as your boyfriend? Go ahead."
"It's cool, no worries." Finn shrugged, the rounds of his cheeks tinged with the slightest of blushes. "Aww, what the heck!" He squared his shoulders, standing a little taller, the corners of his mouth splitting with pride. "Hunter, this is Leo, my boyfriend."
Hunter extended his hand again for Leo to shake. “Nice to meet you. Please excuse me, I have to use the bathroom now, but we’ll talk later.”
***
"Boys." The call had come from behind them and Logan groaned low in his chest as they turned to acknowledge it.
"Wes! You made it," Finn smiled, the corners of his mouth tight. "We weren't sure you'd be able to. With all those big meetings you have to attend and such. Is your wife, Renee, wasn’t it, here? I'd love to meet her."
Something flickered in Wes' smug expression. "They stayed in California. Nate has a very busy schedule. Harvard is very important to me, as you know, so I came alone."
“Isn’t Nate three?” Logan blinked.
“You have to give them a good start if you want them to get them to get into a good college these days, I’m sure you understand. Where was it you went, Leo?"
Leo pursed his lips, letting the same calm wash over him that he channelled for interviews. “I didn’t go. I got drafted straight out of high school.”
“Oh, well, that’s a shame,” Wes said. “College isn’t for everybody though, is it?”
Logan bristled beside him, and Leo placed a placating hand on his shoulder. “Indeed,” he blinked. “I didn’t need my intelligence validated by a degree then, and I still don’t now. And I was hardly about to turn down an offer from The Gryffindor Lions now, was I?”
Wes grumbled something that sounded vaguely like an agreement before turning on his heel and walking off in a manner that Leo could only describe as petulant.
“You’re so hot,” Finn took Leo’s face between his hands and pressed a kiss to his lips. “I’m going to get a drink. Do you want another?”
“Please,” Leo nodded. Logan raised his still mostly full glass as a rejection of the offer.
“You should have let me punch him,” Logan huffed. “He would have deserved it.”
"And get blood on your shirt? Let’s leave that on the ice, shall we?” Leo tugged at the lapels of Logan’s jacket.
***
"So," Logan started as they claimed one of the low tables in the corner, a little tucked away from the rest of the room. "What do you think?"
"It's always nice seeing where you two started," Leo hummed, threading his fingers through the thin curls on the nape of Logan's neck. "I just don't know how you used to do this everyday. Live amongst all this energy. The guys all seem great, but it's a lot even now and I'm assuming you've all mellowed somewhat with age."
"I am not old," Logan scoffed. "Mais non, I agree. Wasn't always like this though. There's more than one graduating class here and we've been apart a long time. A lot of excitement."
"Sorry, sorry, I got caught up with Biscuit. He has triplets now, isn't that crazy?" Finn said, pressing a glass into Logan’s hand and setting Leo’s in front of him before flopping onto the couch opposite. "One Margarita for the fine sir."
"Thanks, Harzy," Leo laughed lightly.
"I can't believe him and Vanessa are still together," Logan hummed, taking a long sip of his drink. He leaned back, crossing his left leg over his right thigh and snaked his arm across the dark leather, brushing his fingers against Leo's shoulder. "I only introduced them because she was flirting with you at that party, the one just after we got back from winter break my junior year, and I wanted to distract her."
"Oh, so that's why you got all moody," Finn said. "She wasn't flirting, she needed help with an essay, idiot."
"The fact you remember Logan's mood on a night seven years ago says more about you than him," Leo snorted.
"First of all, Tremzy being grumpy? That's just a good guess. Second, some of us were still stupid at 20, Knutty." Finn sighed wistfully. "Hey, at least it doesn't feel like I'm being stabbed in the chest these days when I think about it. Progress, right?"
Logan tipped his glass in Finn's direction, nodding his head briefly. "I'll cheers to that."
"To -" Leo started, letting the toast die off as another of Finn and Logan's old team mates approached. He hoped the disappointment he felt wasn't written across his face; whilst he hadn't really expected to be left alone for too long, he had hoped for the brief respite to have lasted longer.
"Hey." The newcomer had his hand shoved into his pockets and his shoulders stooped, almost as if he was trying to hide himself. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"
"Ken!" Finn patted the empty seat next to him. "Of course not. Come, sit."
Leo extended his arm, offering his hand. "Nice to meet you. Ken was it? I'm Leo."
"Ken's what the team always called me. Don't really hear it much these days." Leo thought he saw something sad in the smile sent his way. "My real name is Obi."
"That's because you went off the radar," Logan gave a pointed look.
"About that -" Obi swiped Finn's drink, ignoring his disgruntled protest. He drained what was left of it, pulling at an non-existent loose thread on his sweater. "I wanted to say thank you, you know. For having the guts to come out. I know Black and Lupin were first, but that was forced wasn’t it. You made a choice. I know that must have been hard. It was one hell of a ballsy move."
Leo looked between Finn and Logan, expecting them to answer, but neither of them spoke. "We didn't have much of a choice, not if we didn't want to be watching our back every second of every day."
"It was still brave," Obi muttered. "I couldn't have done it."
"Ken, what are you saying?" Logan never did have much patience for others taking their time to get to the point, even though he was a fan of the scenic route himself.
"They gave you a whole Harvard degree and you need to ask that question?" Obi huffed a laugh. "I'm gay. I met Marco, my now husband at the end of senior year, and freaked out. I didn't know how to make these two worlds work, so I didn't. I moved to DC with him, and started a new life. I'm an accountant, he works in marketing. We have four rats, and a Vizsla called Poppy. It's all very domestic. I love it, but I was a coward.”
"You're not a coward. You don't owe that information to anybody, Ken. Not the others, not the media, not the NHL and not us. Not now, not then, not ever.” Finn took a breath, holding up his finger to signal he wasn’t finished. “Besides, it's not as if Lo and I planned this. We went into this with every intention of stuffing this deep, deep into the depths of denial, never for anybody to find out. Including ourselves. And then Nutty came along.”
Obi smiled at Leo, turning his attention back to Finn. "When did you become Gay Yoda?"
"I spend way too much time in our psych's office. Just spreading the wisdom. Heather would be proud."
"Do the others know?" Logan asked.
"Not yet, I think I'd like them to though."
Logan shifted, leaning forward in his seat. "There's no rush, Ken. We've got your back, whatever you decide."
"So, do you have photos?" Leo cocked his head. "We got to show off. Now it's your turn. Even if it's only for us."
"Of Marco?"
"I'm sure he's wonderful, but I was actually talking about Poppy. And the rats," Leo teased.
There were moments when Leo wondered whether they had made the right decision. When he was playing in front of hostile crowds, or fending off stupid media questions, or blocking bigots on twitter. And then there were moments when he knew the decision they had made was 100% perfect. Right now, that was one of those moments.
