I just want to leave a friendly reminder that I do have an Instagram!! It’s my main place for posting art and where I’ve posted some things that are not here on my Tumblr so far.
It would be greatly appreciated if all you AMAZING people who like my stuff here would check it out over there as well!

our almost
The idea of us is an almost that will linger far longer than us
Beautiful stars destined to crash and burn,
Metorites that are kept in museums to gawp and gawk at.
Our stories were not similar, nor were our ideas.
The only similarity we ever possessed was our desire to rip each other apart.
To delve into every corner and explore every crevice of our shattered hearts.
The idea of us will always remains an almost.
We never satisfied our desire to exist with one another.
We never made it past being an idea, into something material and definable.
I do not know what to call our fleeting moments of solitary company
But it would be heaven to enjoy them again.

hey, my kurdish friend wanted to point out that the iranian woman murdered by the police in tehran was a kurd and her kurdish name was jîna emînî. she has mostly been referred to as mahsa amini, the iranian version of her name, in the media & that can ofc still be used to make sure posts about her reach a mainstream audience. however people should make sure to mention her given kurdish name foremost, as well as highlight the fact that she was a kurd in the first place, because that played a part in her facing the violence that she did.
