Miss ma'am!! Idk how I'm just finding your blog but omggg you have the motherload of amazing FF's. THANK YOUUUU. It's hard to find sweet fluff and actual good angst. So thank you. please keep it up for forever.
Can i request a Paul Lahote x Swan Twin Sister Reader? I've had this in my head for forever but you can ignore it if you don't wanna do twilight. But i think you'd crush it!
Okay so reader is Bella's (fraternal) twin sissy. She moved to Forks with Bella and the whole first book happens WITHOUT her knowing what's going on. She's just as in the dark as Charlie is. However, after edward abandons her she gets to the bottom of it and is her sisters rock while she comes out of the depression hole she's in.
Okay so reader convinces Bella to go talk to Jacob after he too seemingly abandons the both of them (reader is good friends with Jake prior to the transformation instead of the Cullen's). Reader is too upset to confront him so she sits in the car. However, when reader notices Bella walking towards the Sam and his crew that's when she springs into action running behind her. She tries to stop Bella from slapping Paul but she does in her rage. However, instead of transforming reader calls out to Bella and locks eyes with him. Of course, reader is his imprint and it can be really sweet n fluffy after that. Like he falls the the ground, anger vanished and things just make sense to him. Obvi bella and reader are hella confused. Jake is super thankful bc he's obviously missed you.
Sorry this is so long but I think you'll crush it!!
First of all, thank you so much!!
Second of all, YASSSS you got it. My first twilight request!! I swear Twilight is what got me INTO reading. Sucked me in and I've never looked back. This series is what fanfics are made for hahah. You got it anon!!
(I also love really detailed requests, so no worries!)

HAZBIN HOTEL X DUCK! READER
Warning: yandere themes.
prompt: a common mistake made your life eventual as people started to fawn over you
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were supposed to be in heaven…BUT NOOOO, they sent you to hell because they mistook you for someone else. They could’ve just said they were full like a night club…
So now you are in a pond swimming around peacefully. But there’s always a man with a hat and an apple cane that comes to see you literally everyday. You don’t know who he is, but he got attached badly. He would bring bread and show you rubber ducks with an awkward smile.
You just go over to him and eat the bread. You never learned how to talk since birth since your mother abused you. Being jealous of your pure soul and natural beauty. She always told you to shush. Making the sour taste in your mouth sting to never talk.
Eventually the man introduced himself as Lucifer, that’s when it hit you that this man was the first fallen angel, and king of hell. He must have seen your eyes widen in shock. “You can understand me?” He asked you as he scratched under your beak making you lean in his touch. You nodded as he smiles showing his sharp teeth.
“That’s even bettter.” He said
Two days after that, you were literally sleeping when you woke up to feel two hands pick you up, it was Lucifer who cooed at your drowsy face as he takes you to a hotel. Were you finally getting a place to stay instead of outside?
“Listen, my daughter has a dream…to redeem sinners…I wanna believe in her, but our people chose to make hell this way.” He says with a somber look. He took you inside to see basically a female version of Lucifer but more cheery looking as she gasped at you. “Dad? Is that the duck you’ve been talking about?! Aww they’re soooo cute!” She says as she holds you.
And that’s your story of how now you are basically part of the hotel’s family.
I imagine you just getting prince/princess treatment everyday from the hotel and Lucifer himself as he literally trims your duck fur as you just sit there on a fancy ass pillow.
I headcannon that angel dust buys you shades a lot because your yellow/white feathers is so majestic, he just had to make you even more bad ass.
Angel dust loves how high headed you are, not letting anyone tear you down even with a word. He admires you, so he wants you to admire him as well.
I headcannon for you to deadass have an attitude when bothered. Literally Alastor wanted to see what was so special about you. And so he woke you up from your beauty sleep making you go haywire on him.
You pecked him as he tried to hit you, possibly trying to injure you only to injure himself as he came out pissed off with a smile. He definitely spit out a feather as you quacked out a laugh as if this shit was looney tunes.
Charlie always rants to you about her days and how her and vaggie’s relationship is going. Charlie was notified by her father that you can understand her. She doubted it at first, but when you actually nodded she gasped shocked with stars in her eyes.
You and Charlie grew close…to the point she was almost like her father. Constantly checking up on you, feeding you. Watching you. You tried to push it off…but it was kinda unsettling.
You could obviously fly, which you do around the hotel to spread your wings. But when you fly you have a glowing yellow light around you.
I can see you just chilling at the bar as residents come in and out as you just get petted as husk grumbles a little and also pets you. Husk was immediately enchanted by your soft duck feathers
You love to make small tornados at sinners who cause trouble in the hotel. You are the hotel’s duck, so you must at least protect the guests at least.
Vaggie is the one to always make sure to research what ducks eat before making sure you can eat them. She likes how you make everyone feel fuzzy and warm inside. Even her.
You damn well hated that you died into a duck body..but it felt nice knowing that you couldn’t just live the possible human or at least whatever you are. Demon or angel. You could possibly be in a pond sleeping and eating bread all damn day.
I imagine Sir Pentious had put a top hat on you that’s similar like the ones his egg boiz wear. So he loves to have you around when he builds things.
You doze off like this and it’s so cute to the point they will record and take a picture of you. (If you don’t wanna click link, it’s a duck nodding its head off until it goes limp since the duck is tired)
I headcannon Alastor to hate you at first and want to cook you for duck stew, but then he falls in love with how entertaining and smart you are. You technically aren’t just a mere duck.
I can see you just making small hurricanes in your bath tub when niffty has to wash you. You once accidentally splashed her. But she chuckled splashing you.
A sinner once tried to take you from the hotel’s pond that Lucifer made for you only be found 30 secs later taking you.
“WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TOUCHING MY DUCKLING?!” Lucifer yells angrily at the sinner who got knocked flat on their ass. His demon form was coming out as fire spits out his mouth when he huffed.
You did a comedic side eye at Lucifer who was acting possessive as hell itself. You didn’t even know what to do as this man kept holding you like a pet duck you seen fat white men do in the streets.
The sinner didn’t live after that.
I can see husk just petting you softly and then eventually just falling asleep on your body. Like his head is on your body as you just watch hell tv as he snores. Oddly comfortable in your soft feathers.
You literally waddle around the hotel wearing a cute scarf with your favorite color. Alastor oddly knitted it for you like a old grandma to their grandchild 😭
I imagine you just side eyeing Lucifer as he suddenly had the urge to read more information about ducks and how their eggs look. So imagine how Lucifer would act if you pregnant. But the thing is, you rather die then be in pain in birth.
Lucifer makes you a lot of blue things to remind you of a pond since that was the place you chill in a lot. It was to the poke Charlie and Lucifer nodded to make you a pond in the backside of the hotel. It’s your little chill haven.
You felt pissy one day because your feathers were molting..so the wind outside was heavy cause your feathers were just falling and you hated it. You felt insecure but the crew felt your feelings and started to cheer you up. Soon or later, your new feathers came back quickly.
The Vee’s had definitely notice your presence since you first came here. I mean who the hell looks like a damn duck down here with pure beautiful feathers that remind them of so called heaven.
I can see the Vee’s and you having the relationship where it’s basically like team rocket and pikachu type troupe. 😭 they always fail trying to kidnap you because you literally put out ducks that look like you and they fall for it, EVERY SINGLE TIME-
I headcannon you have a ribbon your favorite color wrapped around your neck like a bow or collar with your name on it❤️
Vox had literally set his drone to spy on you as he watches with a sick grin at how adorable and elegant you looked just swimming in your sweet pond and how you just outsmart Alastor.
Imagine how badass you are to suddenly turn big in size because the hotel was being threatened. So you literally grew in a size of the hotel building and flapped your wings to fly them bitches to who knows nowhere.
If you were on the same branch, you would definitely be the older sister of penguin! Reader if it was lore type shit 😭 you don’t play no games about your emotions as you are always observing
LOL IMAGINE YOU WADDLING TO GO TO THE BATHROOM LIKE A HUMAN AND THE EGG BOIZ JUST FOLLOW AFTER YOU AS IF YOU WERE THEIR MOTHER-
The Vee’s definitely sneak on you by Vox’s drone that swarms around your pond without your knowledge.
Velvette literally sends you nice outfits your size. Literally cute outfits where the holes are for your wings so you can fly and look drippy as hell.
See I could definitely imagine you sneaking out the hotel to just get hooked up with your new outfit stylist which is Velvette now.
Vox
Imagine how cold the state duck! Reader has (hear me out, edit audio type shit starts playing-)
I can see you just swimming and Lucifer takes a picture of you, admiring your beauty in place as you just flock around your damn pond. “That’s my baby….” He says wiping a dramatic tear from his eyes.
Valentino. Now I won’t say he would be obsessed romantically but more platonically as he would love for you to be part of his life as his pet only. Like an actual pet he would take care of.
I headcannon Alastor actually tried to feed you some bread…and you accepted it making Alastor smile wildly at how you trusted him getting close to you for one.
Lmao you literally did some Wingardium Leviosa ass shit on someone because you didn’t like how they looked at you 😭
You literally are so coddled and spoiled…it was to the point you would be walking or more like waddling down the damn streets alone and people would aw at your beauty and gracious. It’s overwhelming, but at least you know people won’t fuck with you.
But people just never learnt to keep their hands off of a beautiful creature.
Once Adam got sent down to find an angel that was suppose to be in heaven. He didn’t except for you to be a fuckin duck. So he laughed and took you up with ease as you quacked furiously, trying to get at least someone’s attention.
It was too late as Lucifer sees you get flown up into the heaven portal. Lucifer dropped the tray of lemonade in shock to see his beloved flying into the portal. Lucifer felt his heart squeeze knowing that the bastard knew he couldn’t get into heaven.
Lucifer quickly spout out his wings and fly sharply towards adam’s fading figure. Adam snickers seeing Lucifer’s anger in his glowing red eyes. He turned around and waved you around to taunt Lucifer as you had a “I don’t have time for this…” face. Literally you pecked Adam’s face and hands making Adam spazz out and throw you at Lucifer’s face.
“FINE! TAKE YOUR DUMB ASS DUCK!” Adam yells as he flies off grumbling about making you into duck stew
So Lucifer was happy with a derpy expression and calmed down holding you. He got even more protective as he makes sure you are watched 24/7. He wanted to give you freedom…but after that stunt Adam did. He’s not letting anyone touch you without his permission. Of course his daughter can though!
But what if Adam had succeeded in his capture of you, things would be most likely how it was in hell….just more clean and healthy.
St. Peter definitely greeted you with a warm smile as you didn’t….you didn’t like how he just sassed you and let you fall to hell. So of course it was rocky, but soon or later you two got along since he brides you with bread. He soon gets obsessed with how you get so trusting over things. He uses that to his advantages.
Sera greets you with open arms, literally as she picks you up. Cooing at your pure yellow/white feathers that matches the aesthetic of heaven. You match perfectly here as your angel form is two pair of wings. Your normal duck wings and angel wings. You are the most beautiful angel she ever met and laid eyes on as she shows you around heaven. Every part and area of it. This shall be your new home.
Emily won’t be a crazyyy person over you. As I can see her being a light hearted person who doesn’t love bomb you in a manipulative manner but only wants to be your friend in a loving way. She finds you amazing at how smart and caring you are towards her as you visit her and she visits you back. She brings you every bread know to man and heaven as she noticed you like bread. You and her are clearly amazing friends to each other.
The Angels adore your every movement as if you were also a god/godesss. You were confused at this attention. It was way more overwhelming when you were in hell with the others. Just like how the penguin! Reader was, you made a social media account and half of heaven followed you. It was an insane amount of followers that you didn’t mean to have. But the angels love to greet you as you fly/walk by. With you being so graceful here, who wouldn’t say you belonged here.
Adam most definitely is possessive and always manipulates you into thinking he is superior. He forces himself to be your caretaker, he literally makes you stay in his place all day and all time watched over. He feels the need to control your very bidding and movement as this dickhead degrades you to make you feel useless. It sometimes works, but sometimes doesn’t.
Lute is a controlling person who sees your intelligence as a threat as she wants to break you into her clasp. She’s the second most controlling than Adam. But she’s an overwhelming controlling as she wants you you to see her as your protector and person you can be dependent on at all times. She wants you to be able to tell her everything you know so she can just please you.
Adam finds it amusing at how you got use it heaven so quick despite this new attention. You literally sit on his lap napping as he lounges on the couch. Basically watching sports or whatever.
You can’t help but think, “why am I even surprised.”

nothing lasts forever [part ii] sneak peek
Lucifer x Reader
this is still in the works
Part I
Lucifer sat there at his desk in his workshop alone, working on a new project. He lifted his head slowly bags under his eyes. He stared at the rubber duck swan, and felt a pang in his chest.
“Luci!” you shouted, wrapping your arms around him tackling him to the ground. He wrapped his arms around you, smiling and laughing.
“Oh, it's beautiful!” you exclaimed, and he how'd you put the necklace on. You opened the locket, and it played a little song. Yellow wisps of magic swirled creating little images moving, of his favorite moments with you.
“Promise to never betray me,” you asked, looking at him.
You looked at him, “You promise?” you asked, and he smiled. “I'll never eve betray you,” He said, taking both your hands into his own. Leaning in to kiss you on the lips passionately.
He remembered look of betrayal on their face. How years of trust seemed to go away in an instant, he saw as they heeled over hand on stomach as they placed their hand over their mouth. Yet he continued to betray you.
“I love you, Lilith,” he whispered, he could've sworn he heard you yelp quietly. You hadn’t noticed that he actually spotted you, and watched as you flew away heartbroken. He didn’t stop and should've ended it then and there. He shouldn’t even be doing this when he already had a lover.
He picked up the rubber duck swan and stared at it longingly, that he made years ago. When yearning for you crept it's way back into his heart, a yearning that never left but stayed hidden because of his marriage to Lilith, and the birth of his daughter.
He remembered how they talked about having kids, a little Lucifer or you running around. Tiny wings sticking out of their back as they ran around through the flower fields. How your eyes would light up talking about it, and he’d just stare at you in awe.
He missed dancing in the heavens among the stars with them. He missed everything and regretted ever hurting you.
His phone rang and he reached towards it, Charlie. He smiled, “H-Hey , Char Char how’s it-” he spoke
“Dad we need to talk,” said Charlie, her voice serious and stern. Yet unsure and nervous. His smile faltered hearing the tone in her voice.
Charlie stared at the necklace in her hand, and a note beside it. A letter addressed to her father from Azrael that explains everything that happened to you.

Stay for a while - Charlie Swan (smut)
It's been a while, I missed Charlie, so @deathofpeaceofmind threw this idea my way, and I rolled with it. Please like and reblog if you enjoyed reading this, your comments keep us writers motivated!! Enjoy my loves. xxx
Summary: The reader is new to Forks, on her first day she crosses paths with the handsome Chief that instantly catches her attention. How convenient that they meet around the same time Charlie needs a date to his daughter's wedding.
Warnings: 18+, smut, piv, lots of fluff
Pairing: Charlie Swan x fem!reader (2.8k words)
Tumblr media
With her eyes focused on the road ahead, (y/n) kept humming to the song blasting from the radio, allowing the sound to fill her car. Even though her phone had stopped working a while ago, no longer able to connect with the endless-seeming forest surrounding her, she already felt awfully comfortable in her new home, excited about her new life in Forks.
Perhaps it was the fault of being so distracted by the pretty town she was driving through, perhaps it was the fault of her giddy self, unable to concentrate on anything in particular. Whatever it was, it didn’t help (y/n) find her new workplace, the diner she was supposed to work at, hoping to find her new home in this town she had never set foot in before.
With a sigh leaving (y/n), she parked her car in front of the police station, knowing they’d be able to guide her to find the diner. Her soft steps brought her closer to the building, walking up the stairs with a small smile glued to her lips. And even though she tried to keep her eyes focused ahead, (y/n) found herself bumping into something, or rather someone.
A pair of strong arms found their way around her waist, keeping (y/n) from losing her balance. Her eyes found a pair of dark ones, a colour so rich they told a story of longing, struggles, and yet a softness she was a stranger to.
“I am so sorry.” Softly (y/n) spoke the words, smiling at the man who had caught her. Chief Charlie Swan, a face she had seen on TV now and then, giving interviews about accidents that have happened in the area. (Y/n) felt a strange kind of warmth flush through her since she had always found him handsome, a face she’d think of when her thoughts got a chance to wander.
“That’s alright, don’t you worry. Can I help you, darling?” His voice shot shudders down her spine, momentarily having to avert her gaze to collect herself, unable to stop her smile from growing. The use of the nickname almost left her choking, unable to part from the man she already felt weirdly connected to.
“Uhm, yeah actually. I was trying to find The Lodge?” With the chief now standing a few feet away from her, she got the chance to properly study him, his moustache gracing his features, and that almost cheeky smile that gave the man an even friendlier demeanour. There was something about Charlie Swan she hadn’t ever seen in another man, something she couldn’t put her finger on, yet it was something that drew her to him like two magnets made to find one another.
“I’m about to drive there, if you want to I can take you with me, or you can follow my car with yours.”
……
“Morning, Charlie.” A soft smile tugged on her lips as she watched the chief step into the diner, taking off his hat to properly greet (y/n). It was her third week of working at the diner, slowly adjusting to her new surroundings, to the friendly town that had instantly taken her in with open arms, and to the friendliness of a certain chief who only seemed to treat her this warmly.
“Morning, sweetheart. How are you?” He sat down at the bar, staring at her with those eyes she found herself longing for every single morning, counting the minutes till he’d step into the diner.
“I’m alright, very much looking forward to my first free weekend.” Her words drew a chuckle from Charlie, who was intently watching her pour him a cup of coffee. She loved these mornings with him around, with only a handful of customers filling the diner. (Y/n) found herself sharing conversations about her old home, her hobbies, and her dreams and longings with Charlie.
“Do you have anything planned?” He took a sip of his black coffee, eyes glued to her features, not daring to look away for even just a moment. There was something unfamiliar binding these two together, something both of them felt, yet struggled to voice out, not wanting to overstep any boundaries.
“I wanted to drive down to First Beach, I miss the ocean.” (Y/n)’s soft chuckles drew some more from Charlie. Even though her coworkers had told her that they had never seen Charlie this relaxed and happy before, (y/n) tried not to overthink their back and forth, not wanting to dig her own grave in the new town she would live in for a while.
“I’m off duty on Saturday, I can come with you, if you want, show you around the area and introduce you to some friends.” Slowly she crossed her arms in front of her chest, unable to bite down her teasing grin.
“Does that mean you think of me as some kind of loner who has no friends of her own?” And with another heartily chuckle bubbling out of Chalie, he shook his head, murmuring something under his breath (y/n) couldn’t pick up on.
……
“How long have they been together?” (Y/n) was walking next to Charlie, arms wrapped around herself to try and shield herself from the cold wind. The waves were rolling ashore, wrapping the two in its icy yet gentle embrace.
“Not for long, but I fear this is something that will endure every struggle.” She watched a frown tug on Charlie’s features as he told her about his daughter’s upcoming wedding, clearly struggling with watching her grow up, turning from her dad to marry a man her father wasn’t the biggest fan of.
“Well, if you need extra moral support, I’ll gladly join you.” Charlie’s eyes found (y/n)’s, shooting her a soft smile with his arm slowly finding its way around her middle, pulling her to his side. Without overthinking what he was doing, Charlie pressed a kiss to her hairline, trying not to pay his racing heartbeat any attention.
“That’d be very sweet of you, but I’m sure you have better things to do.” She moved away from him, not far enough to escape his embrace, yet enough to get a good look at his handsome face, unable to read the expression tugging on his features.
“Better things? It’s a wedding, Charlie, what better things are there?” Both laughed in unison, eyes holding contact for a few more moments. He cleared his throat, looking away from (y/n) before they could give in to the pull that seemed to guide them. She kept close, her hand finding his big warm one to interlace their fingers. “I’ll make sure to keep you from murdering Edward, we’ll have fun, promise.”
……
“Let’s go for some shots before I force you to dance with me.” (Y/n) had her fingers intertwined with Charlie’s, pulling him through the crowd with her eyes set on their table, ready to sit down for a few. But before they could even get near their table, they were stopped by Bella’s call for her dad, forcing the two of them to a halt.
“Bells, this is (y/n).” So far (y/n) hadn’t gotten the chance to speak to Bella, not wanting to disturb Charlie and Bella’s moments together. She had met a few of the Cullen’s, and even Renée, instantly befriending the rather giddy woman. And yet, as much as she had tried to focus on the people Charlie had introduced her to, she could barely focus on them, eyes drawn to Charlie’s frame at every given moment.
“It’s lovely to meet you, Bella. You look absolutely stunning.” The girl shook (y/n)’s hand as her eyes kept flickering between her dad and (y/n), trying to figure out the relationship between the two. But before she could interrupt the somewhat awkward atmosphere now wrapping itself around the three, her name was called by Edward, stealing his bride away with a soft smile.
“Well, that was something. Shots?” Charlie’s raspy chuckles left (y/n) giggling, eyes not wanting to leave his relaxed features just yet. The dark suit he wore fit perfectly, making him appear even taller, paired with those dark eyes of his and the moustache she desperately wanted to feel scratching her skin. Charlie had a special kind of grasp on her body and soul, keeping (y/n) close without realising what he was doing to her.
“I guess she didn’t expect me to turn up with a woman, I only told her I’d bring a friend.” Her eyes grew a tad bit wider, tongue kissing her teeth as she pondered over his words. The alcohol flushing through her veins seemed to spur her on, guiding her towards Charlie with her arms finding their way around his neck.
“Did you just friendzone me, Chief Swan?” She was standing close, and could almost hear the uneven beat of Charlie’s heart, enjoying the way he was staring down at her, hands firmly placed on her waist. For a second, she debated kissing him, breaking through the wall he had built around himself for the past years, needing to protect his fragile heart.
“I doubt friends think about one another the way I think about you, sweetheart.” His words almost made her choke on her breath, wide eyes staring up at him as his thumb found her lower lip, slowly stroking the soft skin. Heat flushed through her, a fire so strong nothing could tame it, set on burning her to the ground. Silently she hoped that he’d close the gap between them, lips meeting hers in a slow kiss, but Charlie seemed to have other ideas, taking a step away from her.
“Seems like Bella and Edward are about to leave, let’s say goodbye.”
……
If (y/n) had known that she’d find herself pressed against Charlie’s car about an hour after saying goodbye to the newlyweds, she would have died in anticipation, unable to hold back her excitement. But now, as Charlie kissed her deeply, hands holding her thighs, forcing her further against his car, her thoughts were all over the place.
His name rumbled through her as his lips kissed their way down her throat, moustache scratching her soft skin just the way she had hoped it eventually would. Her gasps left her, rumbling through the quiet night. Both were heavily panting, riled up by their unfamiliar touches, not daring to let go of one another.
“We should move this inside before my neighbour gets a heart attack when she sees me fucking you out here.” Charlie’s words left (y/n) gasping, not expecting to hear foul words like these rolling off his tongue. A squeal tore through her as he squeezed her thighs, pulling her in for another heated kiss. For a few more seconds they kept making out, only pulling away from one another as their lungs ached for some more air, “Come.”
With his hand reaching out for (y/n) to take, Charlie pulled her towards his home, guiding her inside. The second the door fell shut, she found herself pressed against it, lips once again pressed against Charlie’s. Even though (y/n) wouldn’t admit to it out loud, she couldn’t help but thank her lucky stars for the way Charlie was touching her. She had been worried about pressuring him into doing things he wasn’t ready for just yet, but the way he was touching her now seemed to erase every single worry she had about a moment like this one.
“Let’s go upstairs, you deserve a nice mattress at least.” Charlie tried to part from her, wanting (y/n) to feel as comfortable as possible, but she only shook her head, fingers working on the zip of her dress, stepping out of the thin fabric. His pupils grew bigger once again, wandering up and down her underwear-clad frame. Slowly she walked towards the couch, murmuring a soft “I don’t want to waste any more time, Charlie”.
Within moments he had her in his lap, allowing her hands to work on the buttons of his white dress shirt, suit jacket long forgotten. Both were desperate to undress one another, desperate to feel their naked bodies intertwined, and desperate to touch the parts they kept on longing for.
“Fuck, I tried to hold back, I really did, tired to give you enough time, but it was torture not touching you these past days.” His words left her grinning, letting go of a simple “Same” as she pushed his shirt down his arms. Her fingers roamed his chest, exploring his warm skin. (Y/n) was too concentrated on his skin to pay his wandering fingers any attention, and how they undid her bra. Charlie’s groan ripped her out of her trance, letting her bra drop to the ground while she watched Charlie undo his trousers, set on fucking her right there and then.
“Charlie,” his name rolled off her tongue as if she was reciting a poem, set on expressing her adoration, set on telling him all about her feelings for him without needing to put them into words. “Fuck me, please, just fuck me.”
A gasp left (y/n) as Charlie flipped them around, grinning down at her as he now hovered over her, doing quick work on her soaked panties, pulling them down her trembling legs. The sight of her bare cunt left Charlie groaning, eyes taking in every inch of her now naked body, “You’re dripping baby, making such a beautiful mess.”
“Charlie, I need you inside of me, don’t make me wait any longer.” (Y/n)’s words dripped with desperation, eyes growing wide as he spat onto her cunt, saliva mixing with her arousal. He circled her bundle and grinned down at her as a string of curses rolled off her tongue. She was at his mercy, ready for the man she needed like a starving woman who needed her food, he was the air she was desperate to breathe, the one she’d search all earth for.
“Let me grab a condom.” He tried to rise from the couch, but (y/n) wouldn’t let him, pulling Charlie down for a messy kiss.
“I’m on the pill, I want to feel you.” Her words drew another groan from Charlie, grasping his cock to pump himself a few times, pushing into her without another warning. Both moaned in unison, eyes holding contact, not daring to look away for even just a second. He didn’t hold back, didn’t move slow, no, Charlie fucked her into the couch, high on the feeling of her clenching around him.
It had been too long for the both, no longer used to feeling this close to someone they actually enjoyed being around, and yet it felt better than ever before, more sincere, more loving, more intimate. They didn’t hold back, didn’t try to swallow their sounds, giving into every call, choking on one another’s name.
His fingertips dug into her skin, not daring to let go of her, of the way she fitted to him oh so perfectly. (Y/n) was sure that she’d forever remember this, forever remember his sounds, his touches, the way he fucked her into oblivion on his couch.
“Fuck, baby, you feel so good.” Charlie’s raspy voice left her gasping, arching her back off the couch, trembling thighs tightening their grip on his waist. This was messy, this was rough, this was everything the both of them needed. She felt him shift, felt him raise her hips off the fabric with another deep moan leaving them at the new angle.
“God, Charlie, you’re so fucking deep.” She was sure that she felt him in her stomach, fucking her deeper than she had ever been fucked before. The way she shook beneath him, breaths uneven, eyes wide, warned Charlie of her quickly arising high, about to cum on his cock, about to let go with a call of his name.
And it was the prettiest thing Charlie had ever seen, a sight so vulnerable, so beautiful, he felt himself tumbling over the edge seconds later, cumming deep inside of her. Her walls pulsed around his twitching cock, needing to hold on for as long as possible, not daring to part before both could relax, heavily panting.
“See, I told you, there’s no better thing than weddings.” Her whispered words left Charlie chuckling, forehead pressed against hers. He pulled (y/n) in for another kiss before he slowly pulled out of her, watching her make a mess on his couch with a smirk glued to his lips.
“Well, if they always end like that, I’ll have to drag you to a lot of them.”

IN BETWEEN. charlie bushnell x reader – 05
05 | LOGICAL previous | next | masterfile
SYNPOSIS. when a girl's co-star is good to her and now she wants it more than everything in between. (smau)
A/N. not feeling too well but... here's the episode
HOST "What's up, everyone! Welcome back to the Fangirlpedia Podcast, where we fangirls get to live out our dreams and fill out a Wikipedia for all the fangirls out there!"
HOST "I've been a fan of PJO since i was a kid, I was 15 when the first books came out and now, my daughter, who's 12 gets to watch the TV show. So it really is a dream come true and such a pleasure to be here today with the cast of Disney+'s Percy Jackson and the Olympians!"
HOST "With that, I think it's the proper time to introduce our dear guests for today."
WALKER "I'm Walker Scobell, I play Percy Jackson."
LEAH "I'm Leah Sava Jeffries and I play Annabeth Chase."
CHARLIE "I'm Charlie Bushnell and I'm the actor for Luke Castellan."
YN "And I'm YN LN and I'm the actress for Rina Velasco."
HOST "What song would you associate with your character?"
YN "For me, I Bet on Losing Dogs by Mitski"
YN "Rina is a very calculated character, she's not like Annabeth in the sense that it's just logic and facts. I think she's calculated in the fact that she's a very thoughtful person, and so I think it's interesting that her fatal flaw would be her faith and her trust— which, from face value completely contrasts her as a character. Like why does this person who thinks everything through have such childlike trust? Well, she is a child."
YN "The reason I chose this really lies in Luke, her first love, and the fact that her oblivious trust is most blatant in her relationship with him. Luke is the losing dog that all her logic tells her is losing but she still bets on him every time. He proves to her time and time again that he's put himself on this path and yet she foolishly believes every time that he can come back. I think in a way, she's aware of the fact that it's a foolish endeavor and yet pursues it anyway because she still believes there's some goodness in Luke despite him proving to her otherwise."
HOST "If YN's song for Rina is I Bet on Losing Dogs by Mitski, what would your song be, Charlie?"
CHARLIE "I think I've mentioned somewhere else that the song I used to really like use as my go-to was Swan Lake, Op. 20, Act 2? Yeah I think that's the right title. It really got me in the mood. But there's a different song that I think represents Luke."
HOST "Oh and what would that song be?"
CHARLIE "Probably.... Silver Springs yeah Silver Springs - Fleetwood Mac. It's a popular song with editors. But like, I see Luke in it because it's kind of like... that's his relationship with all the people he loves. 'Time casts it spell on you, but you won't forget me. I know I could've loved you, but you would not let me.' Those lyrics for me are really what Luke's relationship with people are like, especially post-betrayal. I think the people he love stays on his mind constantly."
CHARLIE "There's this one line 'You'll never get away from the sound of a woman that loves you'. And I think every woman in his life is the same, Annabeth, his mom, Tahlia, and Rina especially. They all love him in their own way and the fact that like you know, they love him will haunt him with every decision he makes."
HOST "Even before filming, what were the vibes from everyone?"
CHARLIE "A lot of people assume that the hardest thing is filming- which is hard but like the stuff that happens before like table reads and chemistry tests were so nerve-wracking too."
YN "You'll hear from Leah and Walker that the chemistry read was so happy and fun— Leah just got to flirt with Walker for like an hour. Good for the younger kids, meanwhile me and Charlie were out here sobbing and fighting."
WALKER "Huh? What?!"
LEAH "You never told us this."
CHARLIE "Really? We didn't"
YN "Well, for Charlie and I's chemistry read, yeah it started off with playful banter then not even two scenes later, I was arguing with Luke in a forest about him stealing the master bolt."
CHARLIE "I mean I was like begging her to stay and everything— Did I get on my knees? I remember getting on my knees."
YN "Oh my gosh yeah... he got on his knees while begging to Rina it was crazy. The chemistry they wanted from us was ... definitely passionate. It was a very specific type of chemistry."
CHARLIE "Didn't they have us— Oh spoilers if you haven't seen the last book, anyways Luke dies and they were like 'So I want you to pretend like you're dying and now you see him and you're mourning his death'"
YN "Yeah and it was like 'I'm not sure if I'll make it to Elesium...' 'I don't think anyone else would be more worthy.' and then bro just straight up died!"
WALKER "WHAT TYPE OF CHEMISTRY READ IS THIS???"
CHARLIE "Deadly chemistry. I think one of us started crying."
YN "We were giving... Shakespeare."
HOST "What were your guys' reaction after getting the role? I think most have heard about the rest of you guys but YN's casting has been a matter of secret for a little bit."
YN "Oh my god I was elated, I was finally employed!"
CHARLIE "Biggest TV show of the year and your reaction is 'I'm employed'?"
YN "Hey don't judge! I love PJO and I love the series so so so much but honestly, after doing Miss Saigon's revival and then going into first year of college in NYU I was kind of panicking because 1) I wanted to do something and 2) I had no idea what to do. Like I knew I wanted to act but I wanted to try something different and honestly, I haven't gotten any good callbacks in a long time. So I mean when I sent it in, I didn't think anything would happen but it did and I was like 'Oh my god, I'm employed, I can earn money'."
CHARLIE "A bit weird but wouldn't have it any other way."
YN "You know, Charlie, next time you can just say something nice."
CHARLIE "Then our rela- friendship wouldn't be as fun."
CHARLIE "YN at first was pretty secretive about her background so every thing she revealed herself was like a new lore drop."
YN "Lore drop???"
WALKER "Every few days on set, we'd be talking and one day you'd just drop 'Oh when I was in highschool, I was in the national debate championships and in the finals–' and you talked like it was so normal but then all of us just found out you did competitive debate."
YN "It wasn't that big of a deal–"
LEAH "You told us you won the championships?"
YN "I won best speaker but I technically-"
CHARLIE "Don't even bother."

Lunch Break (Charlie Swan X Teacher!Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: Chief Swan visits his girlfriend on his lunch break, and can’t help but adore the way she is with her students.
A/N: i know nothing about taking care of or teaching little kids lol
***
Charlie wasn’t used to being around a toddler, let alone twenty of them. Even when his daughter Bella was at that age, he didn’t see her much.
Yet here he was, sitting in his girlfriend’s classroom, having lunch with her while a group of toddlers napped on the floor.
“So, how’s your day been?” You asked in a whisper, picking at the burger and fries that Charlie had brought you from the Carver Cafe.
“Oh, not much.” He responded in an equally low voice, but more gruff. His fingers smoothed over his mustache before speaking again. “Still looking into those missing persons cases, but we’ve been coming up with nothing.”
“You’ll find something, bear.” You squeezed his shoulder, and he leaned into your touch. “You always do.”
“Yeah, maybe… But enough about me, how’s your day?”
You let out a tiny laugh, not surprised that Charlie would bounce the attention onto you as soon as he could.
“Well, today we had an art day.” You gestured to one of your tables on the opposite side of the room, covered in different drying papers. “Watercolor, crayon, markers, that kind of thing. That was really fun. I know I shouldn’t play favorites, but I really like Delilah’s. You know her mom, right? Samantha?” Charlie nodded after a quick moment of thought, and so you continued. “Well, she wanted to make a meadow, so she covered her paper in green, and then she stamped little fingerprints all over as flowers. I mean, you kinda have to ask her what it is to figure out what it is, but I don’t know, it was really cute and- oh my god, I’m rambling, huh?” You covered your mouth to stop more word vomit from spilling, a little giggle slipping past your fingers.
Charlie pulled your hand away, laying a kiss on your knuckles. He nudged your knee with his own, a coy smile on his lips.
“No, I like hearing you talk.” Your cheeks reddened, and you scrunched your nose at him. He squeezed your hand. “Come on, keep going. What happened after painting?”
“Read the kids a story.” You answered, trying to remember the title. “They really like that Llama Llama book. But some of the kids really wanted ‘Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!’ so I told them I’d read that after nap time. Then they all had food, fell asleep, and then you came with lunch.” You ate a fry before stealing a sip of Charlie’s coffee. You liked how he didn’t mind, instead watching you with a fond expression. “Which is delicious, by the way, thank you.”
“No problem, sweetheart.”
“Ms. Y/n?” A tiny voice sounded from one of the sleeping mats. You gave Charlie’s hand a quick squeeze before letting go and standing up from your chair.
“Jayden?” You asked quietly, even though you knew it was him from his voice. “Are you okay?”
“Bad dream.” The little boy answered, rolling off his cot and looking at you with bleary eyes and a frown.
“Aw, I’m sorry, honey.” You said softly, crouching down close to him. “Do you want a hug?”
He nodded a few times, carefully walking through his sleeping classmates to reach you. He latched his arms around your neck, and you patted his back, waiting until he felt better.
Charlie saw the interaction from the corner of his eye, not wanting little Jayden to feel watched. He couldn’t help but smile at how quickly you were able to comfort him. It was clear that you were made for this kind of work, being so caring and nurturing without even thinking about it.
“Feeling better?” You asked Jayden as he let go of you, and he nodded. You smiled at him. “I’m glad. Now, you have a couple more minutes before we gotta start waking up. Do you wanna lay back down?” Jayden nodded again, and with a little wave of his hand, he tiptoed back over to his mat.
When he was settled, you stood up from your crouched position and went back to Charlie, who was looking at you with a twinkle in his eye.
“What?” You asked, finishing off the rest of your food.
“Nothing.” He said, shaking his head a bit. Charlie looked at his watch and sighed, realizing his break was almost over. “I should probably leave. The boys’ll need me back at the station soon.”
“Okay.” You said with a slight pout, wishing you had more time with him. The two of you cleaned up, Charlie insisting that he could throw the trash away on his way out. “I’ll see you later, bear.”
“See you soon, sweetheart.” Charlie kissed your cheek and went to the door, giving you a wave before exiting the room.

The morning sun cast a warm, golden glow over the small town of Forks, Washington, as (Y/N) drove her old, reliable truck down the familiar winding roads. It had been years since she had left this place, seeking adventure and opportunities far from the quiet life of her hometown. But today, she was coming back for a reason she never expected.
(Y/N) had always been protective of her younger sister, Bella. They shared a special bond growing up, and even though life had taken them in different directions, that bond had never wavered. Over the past few years, (Y/N) had received sporadic updates about Bella from their father, Charlie. Bella had moved back to Forks after a brief stint in Arizona, citing health reasons, but the details had always been vague.
Today was different. Charlie had called (Y/N) late last night, his voice tinged with a mixture of relief and excitement. "Bella's better now, (Y/N)," he had said, his words filled with a joy she hadn't heard in a long time. "She's overcome her sickness."
Sickness? The word had sent shivers down (Y/N)'s spine. She needed to know what had happened to her sister. And there was another piece of news that had taken her by surprise. Bella had a child, a niece. "Edward's adopted niece," Charlie had explained. "They took her in after her mother died."
The sunlit trees lining the road to Forks swayed gently as (Y/N) pulled into the familiar driveway of her childhood home. Her heart pounded with a mixture of anticipation and worry. She had so many questions, and she couldn't wait to see Bella again.
Charlie was waiting on the porch, his eyes filled with an emotion that mirrored her own. They embraced tightly, father and daughter reunited after too long apart.
"Tell me everything, Dad," (Y/N) said, her voice trembling with emotion.
Charlie led her inside and began to fill in the gaps. Bella had been battling an illness, one that had left her weak and vulnerable. But Charlie spoke of her recovery with such pride and happiness that (Y/N) couldn't help but smile through her tears. She had always known that her sister was a fighter.
"And the child, Dad? Tell me about her," (Y/N) asked, her curiosity piqued.
Charlie's face softened. "Her name is Renesmee or Nessa as we call her. She's a sweet, bright little girl who's been through so much. Bella and Edward took her in when her mother passed away. They're raising her as their own."
(Y/N) nodded, her heart swelling with admiration for her sister's kindness. She couldn't wait to meet Renesmee and be a part of their lives.
"I want to see Bella, Dad," (Y/N) said, determination in her eyes. "And I want to meet my niece."
Charlie smiled, understanding the urgency in his older daughter's voice. "She's at their place now. I'll take you there."
As they left the house and headed towards Bella's home, (Y/N) couldn't help but wonder how much had changed since she had left Forks. Little did she know that her return would mark the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, one filled with love, family, and unexpected blessings.
The Cullen house stood as impressive as ever, its grandeur hidden beneath the towering pines of the forest. (Y/N) and Charlie parked the truck and made their way to the front door. (Y/N) felt a strange mix of excitement and apprehension as they approached. She hadn't seen Bella in years, and she had never met Bella's husband, Edward, or their adopted niece, Renesmee.
Before she could even reach for the doorbell, it swung open to reveal Alice Cullen, her radiant smile lighting up the doorway. "Welcome to our home, (Y/N)!" Alice exclaimed, pulling her into a warm hug. "Everyone's been eagerly awaiting your arrival."
(Y/N) couldn't help but be surprised. "How did you know I was coming?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
Alice's eyes twinkled with a secret that she couldn't reveal. "Charlie sent Bella a message earlier today, saying you'd be joining us."
Charlie nodded in agreement, but (Y/N) couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it. She pushed the thought aside and stepped inside.
The Cullen home was just as beautiful as she remembered it, filled with a sense of elegance and warmth. In the spacious living room, she spotted Bella standing beside a tall, bronze-haired man who could only be Edward. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw her sister, who had transformed into a graceful, confident woman.
"Bella!" (Y/N) called out, rushing forward to envelop her sister in a tight hug. "I've missed you so much."
Bella's eyes filled with tears as she returned the embrace. "I've missed you too, (Y/N). It's so good to see you."
As they pulled away, Edward stepped forward, a warm smile on his face. "I'm Edward," he said, extending his hand. "It's nice to finally meet you in person."
(Y/N) shook his hand, feeling an immediate sense of trust and warmth. "Likewise, Edward. Bella's told me so much about you."
Just then, from Edward's arms, (Y/N) noticed a small bundle of joy. It was a beautiful, dark-haired baby with wide, curious eyes. (Y/N) couldn't help but gasp in delight.
"This is Renesmee," Bella said, her voice filled with motherly pride. "Our daughter."
(Y/N) leaned in to get a closer look at the three-month-old baby. "She's absolutely precious," she whispered, her heart melting at the sight of the tiny miracle in Bella's arms.
Edward smiled proudly as he carefully handed Renesmee over to (Y/N). The baby blinked up at her with a hint of recognition, her small hand reaching out to touch (Y/N)'s cheek.
"I think she likes you," Bella remarked, her smile widening.
(Y/N) held the baby close, overwhelmed by a rush of emotions. She couldn't believe how much her sister's life had changed, but it was a change filled with love and happiness.
As they all gathered in the living room, (Y/N) couldn't help but feel that this reunion was a long-overdue blessing. She had her sister back, and now she had the chance to be a part of this new, loving family that Bella had found in Forks.
The morning passed in a blur of joy and laughter as (Y/N) and Renesmee played together in the cozy Cullen home. They had explored every corner of the backyard, watched cartoons that left them both giggling, and played with an assortment of baby toys that seemed to multiply with each passing hour. By the time the afternoon sun bathed the living room in a warm glow, exhaustion had caught up with them.
(Y/N) sat on the couch, cradling Renesmee in her arms as the little one's eyelids drooped with sleep. It had been a day filled with new discoveries and boundless affection, and both of them were in need of a nap.
As (Y/N) closed her eyes and felt the rhythmic rise and fall of Renesmee's breath against her chest, she couldn't help but smile. The bond she was forming with her niece was something she cherished deeply.
Unbeknownst to (Y/N), Bella had been quietly snapping pictures of the two of them, capturing the precious moments shared between her sister and her daughter. She had missed these family moments so much, and it warmed her heart to see (Y/N) and Renesmee getting along so well.
Edward gently took Bella by the hand and led her aside, away from the sleeping pair on the couch. His expression was grave as he spoke in hushed tones. "Carlisle called. Garrett and Benjamin are coming to pay us a visit."
Bella's eyes widened with surprise. "Garrett and Benjamin? Why?"
Edward sighed, knowing the situation required a careful explanation. "Carlisle didn’t say much."
Bella glanced back at her sister and the peacefully sleeping Renesmee.
Edward hesitated before responding, "They are aware that we have guest over right now. But bella, (Y/N), doesn’t know of our secret and we can't risk exposing her to our world."
Bella nodded in understanding, her heart heavy with the weight of the decision. She had always strived to protect her sister from the dangers of their supernatural life.
Edward continued, "Carlisle already warned them about (Y/N) being here like I said, they also know she’s human so he’s asked them to wear contacts to conceal their eyes.“
Bella looked back at her sister and daughter with a mixture of gratitude and concern. "I'll do whatever it takes to keep them safe, Edward. They mean everything to me."
Edward placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We'll get through this together, Bella. For the safety of our family."
As they returned to the living room, Bella couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding, like their visit wasn’t all that innocent.
The Cullen house was filled with a palpable tension as Garrett and Benjamin arrived, their footsteps silent against the lush carpeted floor. They were known among the vampire community as mates, bound together by a connection deeper than mere friendship. But lately, they had felt something missing from their lives, a void they couldn't ignore.
They had heard rumors of a vampire legend, one that suggested vampires could have more than one mate. It was a risky and rare phenomenon, but they believed it might hold the answer to their unease. That's why they had come to Carlisle for what could only be described as a "check-up" of sorts.
As Carlisle greeted them at the door, his golden eyes concealed behind human-like contact lenses, he welcomed them with a warm smile. "Garrett, Benjamin," he said, extending a hand to each of them. "It's good to see you both."
Garrett and Benjamin nodded in response, their gazes scanning the room. There was an air of anticipation that hung in the air, but they couldn't quite pinpoint the reason for it.
Carlisle led them further into the house. "You must be quite Bella's sister is asleep on the couch with my grandchild."
The mention of Bella's sister piqued Garrett and Benjamin's curiosity, but they remained composed as they followed Carlisle.
As they entered the living room, their eyes fell upon the sight that took their breath away. (Y/N) was asleep on the couch, her chest rising and falling with the peaceful rhythm of slumber. In her arms, she cradled Renesmee, the infant's dark curls blending with (Y/N)'s own hair.
The moment their eyes locked onto (Y/N), something extraordinary happened. Garrett and Benjamin felt a sudden surge of intense emotion, a connection so profound that it left them momentarily stunned. It was the mating bond, a rare and powerful force that bound vampires together for eternity.
Bella, who had been watching their reactions closely, recognized the look of astonishment on their faces. She couldn't contain her smile as she approached them. "Garrett, Benjamin, meet my sister, (Y/N)."
Garrett and Benjamin exchanged glances, unable to tear their eyes away from (Y/N). It was as if they had found the missing piece of their lives, the answer to the emptiness they had felt.
(Y/N) stirred on the couch, slowly waking from her nap. Her eyes fluttered open, and she met the intense gazes of Garrett and Benjamin. In that instant, the mating bond solidified, binding the three of them together in a way they couldn't fully comprehend.
Bella's heart dropped in dread as she watched the extraordinary connection unfold before her. It had been the same look Edward gave her, the same one Emmett shared with Rosalie and Alice with jasper, she knew that look all to well and she was afraid that they all knew that their lives were now forever changed.
Carlisle led Garrett and Benjamin into a separate room, away from the watchful eyes of (Y/N) and the rest of the family. The tension in the air was palpable, and they needed to discuss what had just transpired.
Once they were in the privacy of the room, Garrett spoke first, his voice filled with awe and confusion. "Carlisle, we felt it... the mating bond. It was like a tidal wave, overwhelming and undeniable."
Carlisle's brow furrowed in concern. "This is troubling, indeed," he admitted. "A mating bond is a powerful force, but this situation is far from simple."
Benjamin, ever the optimist, couldn't help but see the bright side. "Isn't this a good thing? We've found our missing piece, someone who completes us."
Carlisle nodded slowly. "Yes, that's great for the two of you, but we have to consider that Charlie and (Y/N). They are all Bella has left linking her to her human life. Now that the two of you have found a mate within (Y/N), I fear how Bella might react."
Just as they were grappling with the complexity of the situation, the door swung open, and Bella entered, her eyes blazing with anger but her voice deceptively calm. "Did you do what I think you did?"
Garrett attempted to defuse the situation with a charming smile. "Bella, it's not something we planned. The mating bond, it's beyond our control."
But Bella wasn't placated. She pushed Garrett aside and confronted Benjamin. "You can't control who you mate with," he said.
Edward, who had been listening from the hallway, appeared at that moment. He knew how to handle Bella's emotions better than anyone. "Bella, come with me," he urged gently, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
Bella hesitated for a moment, her eyes still locked onto Benjamin. But eventually, she relented and allowed Edward to lead her out of the room and into the forest to hunt.
As they disappeared into the woods, the tension in the room eased slightly, but the weight of the situation remained. Garrett, Benjamin, and Carlisle were left to grapple with the implications of the unexpected mating bond and the potential consequences it might bring to their unconventional family.

In the Dead of Night
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Edward Cullen x Swan!Reader
Warnings:none really, renee being a bad mom, reader having to basically parent both renee and bella, charlie being typical charlie, edward maybe ooc?
Words:5712
Nessa=Renesmee but like hell I’m keeping that name xD
You felt a bit shell shocked when your father drove his police cruiser through the small town of Forks. Both you and Bella have your faces pressed against your respective windows. Charlie catches a glimpse of his daughters via rear view mirror and smiles a little to himself.
Gone was the sand of Arizona as was the blazing sun that had you feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. Little love would be lost from leaving Arizona. That was something you and Bella could agree on.
The blues and grays that was a perpetual filter over Forks better suited you. Spending your last high school year wouldn’t be too bad. Then you could decide to live anywhere you want. No more responsibility for Bella and suffering from a flighty and unpredictable mom. While you love them both dearly, it wasn’t easy growing up having to act like a parent to both of them. Bella excelled academically, but you constantly worried for her safety. She was like a magnet for danger. There was always a scrap to bandage or something else that required you to comfort her through.
Renee was no better. It was worse being a mother to your actual mom. You were the one to always call her when it was getting too late. Always you taking care of Bella because Renee took a surprise trip and just left you a note and some money.
Just because you were a year older than your sister, Renee deemed you ready enough to be a substitute mom.
At least she never let the two of you go starving or without anything. That much you would give her.
There was hardly any emotional warmth in the house though.
Much like everything else about Forks, nothing seemed to have changed in Charlie’s home. The two small beds had new sheets on them but everything else was as you and Bella had left it.
“Sorry the two of you have to share a room.” Charlie awkwardly apologizes. He addresses you “I know how older kids like to have their own space.”
That was laughable. You’d never had your own space, but it was sweet of him. “Don’t worry about it.” You offer him an unsteady grin as you and your sister still felt partially awkward around your dad. It’s been years since you’ve even spoken to him for this long. He never fought to see you and seemed perfectly satisfied to lose contact with both of you.
Every inch of the room was frozen in time as your eyes rove in observation.
You remind yourself that it was just one. More year. One more year and just one bathroom shared between the three of you.
Breaking the silence was a sharp honk coming from right outside your bedroom window. Both you and Bella scramble to peer out of it.
A beat up, rusty red pickup truck turns its engine off. You’re still unable to see its occupants.
“That would be Billy Black.” Your dad explained with a small smile.
the last name did ring a bell in your vague memory from. Childhood. You look at Bella who just shrugs and follows Charlie into the hallway.
Outside a young teenager is helping an older man into a waiting wheelchair.
Charlie clears his throat. “You girls remember billy Black.”
Billy’s smile is warm and makes your posture relax a bit. “Glad you’re finally here.”
Both he and Charlie become distracted by their own conversation leaving the teen boy to introduce himself. “I’m Jacob. I think both of you made mud pies with me and my sisters when we were younger.”
Mud pies did sound familiar but that resurfacing memory fades when Charlie tells you that the truck is a gift for you and Bella. A homecoming gift.
**
Parking your truck in the student lot, you drum your fingers along the steering wheel. Bella in the passenger seat inhales deeply.
“We’ll get through this.” you remind her.
She looks at you with large, nervous eyes. When she was frightened, Bella always reminded you of Bambi. “Yeah. It’s just. . . the first day of school is always the worst. And we know absolutely no one here.”
“I know you.” You pipe in and it makes Bella smile if only a little bit. “That’s gotta be worth something. C’mon. Best we get acquainted with the school before the bell rings.”
Centering your courage, you tell yourself this was just another day at a high school that was like many others throughout the country.
After paying a visit to the school’s office to get your schedules, you and Bella hold them up to compare classes. Due to age you didn’t have any of the same classes together.
Too busy studying your piece of paper, you don’t notice the hurried footsteps rushing behind you.
“New girls!”
You jump, letting out a high pitch curse word. Bella holds her hand to her chest like she just experienced a heart attack.
Thoroughly annoying both Swan sister was a kid closer to Bella’s age. His smile was friendly enough but you didn’t appreciate how he had snuck up on you. “Sorry, didn’t mean to spook you guys!”
His name was Eric and turned out to be very insistent that he show you two around.
Reluctantly you go along with it, figuring no harm came from knowing at least one person.
Even though he was a tad annoying, Eric did prove to be a helpful guide.
You and Bella started your first few classes without a hitch.
At lunch, Bella introduced you to two more kids she had met in her gym class as well as a bubbly girl who blinded you by the pictures she took of you and your sister.
You’d met a few of your same year classmates and found them agreeable. They must have liked you too because they did invite you to eat with them. You didn’t want to leave Bella by herself the first day though. Integration was not something Bella was keen on.
In grade school you’d often be called in from your own class to help Bella calm down. It was safer just to make sure she was happily acclimated before you went off to do your own thing.
You mind wanders as you pick at your food. Peers around talk of typical high school experiences and asked you about your school in Arizona.
Jessica is chatting animatedly with Bella until the double doors of the cafeteria that led outside open.
Five of the most beautiful people you’d ever seen saunter inside like they own the damn place.
Painfully divine, their skin as smooth as porcelain and blemish free. Eyes painted in differing shades of golden honey.
The first four were paired off, leaving the boy with bronze colored hair trailing behind them.
Even Bella couldn’t tear her eyes from them as Jessica tells both of you about the Cullens. Adopted by the local doctor and how infamously unobtainable Edward was.
Gorgeous they were, but there’s a coldness to them.
As if reading your thoughts, Edward’s eyes happen to single you out and stare. He reminded you of a predatory hawk with those intense irises that were so unusual. You’d never seen anyone with an eye color like that before. Like a polished piece of precious metal.
Eerily he grins at you before returning his attention to his adoptive siblings.
First one to get out, you wait for Bella in the truck as the last shriek of the bell rings through the air above the school.
You spot her, a deep frown already on her face. When she gets in you ask what’s wrong. Of course she’s always reluctant to say right away what’s bothering her. Possibly taking after Charlie too much in that respect.
“That Edward guy is in my biology class.” She mumbles while buckling herself in. By her tone it didn’t sound like a good thing. “I had to sit next to him and. . . he was just really weird.”
“How so?”
She shrugs her shoulders. “He was making facing like I smelled.”
Leaning in, you give her a big sniff making Bella’s cheeks self consciously pinken. “You smell fine to me.”
That wasn’t enough to satisfy her though.
Don’t worry about him.” You halfheartedly offer. “There’s clearly something wrong with him.”
Not until the next day would you have your own strange encounter with Edward Cullen.
Barely having just closed our locker, you jump when you see him standing there. At your bemused expression, Edward awkwardly smiles and leans against the lockers. “You’re (y/n) Swan.”
“And you’re Edward Cullen.” You raise a challenging brow. All last night Bella had been so concerned about how she smelled thanks to this guy.
The lightness of his smile dims and you notice how he appears to mentally back step as to not say anything stupid.
“Feels like I’m failing at that already.” He says under his breath.
“What?”
“Sorry.” He closes his pretty eyes that had pinned you in place. “I. . .”
Bella bounds over to you in a hurry, almost bumping into other students in the process. “Here (y/n)! I think I accidentally. . .” she notices Edward standing next to you “took your notebook. . .”
You see Bella shrink into herself as she hands you your notebook. Yup, it was your’s. Tattered and covered with sharpie doodles on the front. “Thanks Bells.”
Before things could get awkward, Edward immediately blurts “I”m sorry about yesterday. I was not quite feeling well that day before class.”
By Bella’s eyebrows creasing, you read that as Bella not quite buying his excuse. However she didn’t press and simply nods in acknowledgement. “I-It’s okay.”
Even you don’t necessarily buy it but at least he apologized. Now that the air was clear of that mess, you bid Edward a goodbye and tell Bella you’d see her at lunch.
Throughout the day though, you caught Edward staring at you. It always felt like he could read your mind because the moment you thought this creepy, he would avert his focus and look to somewhere else.
Following days, while you didn’t catch him staring at you, you would fel his nearness. You couldn’t say his attention was unwelcome. After all, he was incredibly good looking to an unbelievable degree.
Bella thought him weird, but she’d had a chip on her shoulder toward him since the first day.
Once in a while, she’d point out that the smallest of the Cullens, Alice, had been staring at you. Catching her doing this only once, Alice merely smiled at you unabashedly like you were a friend from long ago.
Stranger to come was when they actually start talking to you (besides the blondie Rosalie). A few words here and there. According to Jessica they never talk to anyone else outside of their family bubble.
A month passes and your new Forks routine finally feels normal and established.
Bella tend to spend all of her free time in La Push with Jacob and his friends. You encourage this for it granted you precious time to yourself. For a few hours, the house was entirely your’s. You enjoy lounging in the living room, your books and papers scattered everywhere as you lazily “study” while simultaneously watching tv.
A tickle along your neck alerted you to an unseen presence though. Apprehension pulls your face away from the screen and off to the side where the window was. While you weren’t completely sure, you thought you saw a flash of movement.
Incidences like that continued until March.
Edward’s action became bolder toward you. Conversations lasting more than a few seconds. From bits and pieces you started to pick up on odd little quirks. Sometimes you were so sure that he could read your mind.
You found his awkwardness around you admittedly adorable. From the way Jessica had described him, you thought he was stuck up due to his good looks. Also you hadn’t forgotten how distant all the Cullens were to their peers. But he’d be a little tongue tied around you. Scrambling to come up with appropriate words. Amusing to watch him stumble over himself.
Until he asked you out. On an actual date.
It could have been a prank. This wouldn’t be the first time someone asked you out for it to only be a joke. Of course this would cause you to be apprehensive.
“Now why would Edward Cullen want to go out on a date with the new girl?” You fold your arms in front of your chest.
Instead of being intimidated by your defensive stance, Edward smiles. “You make it sound like me liking you is impossible.”
“Ah, you like me.” Damn, your heart did flutter at that and there was a stupid smile that was trying to force your lips upward.
“I know I don’t know much about you. But I would like to.” Edward adds when he sensed your wavering skepticism.
“Since when are you dating Edward Cullen?!” Bella slammed the door of the truck.
You have to mentally count now. “Well, it’s probably been a week now.” After your first date, during the time where Charlie and Bella were out of the house, you knew that there would be more dates to come. Never had you got along so well with anyone. There had been no awkward moments and the mere lulls in conversation had been neutral. One odd thing about it was that Edward had eaten so little of his food.
Her eyes are comically large with disbelief. “You can’t be serious. H-How-“
“Well I’ve finally had time to myself.” You shrug. “Figure that time would be better spent doing something that makes me happy.” Edward hadn’t been as odd as you initially expected him to be. Sure he spoke like an old timey gentleman. His speech pattern was eloquent, a lost talent among boys these days that utterly delighted you.
“(Y/n). . . I don’t trust him. . . Or the rest of his family for that fact.” She uncomfortably looks ahead, her arms wrapped around herself.
“Why’s that?”
She bites her bottom lip, a nasty habit she’d developed when she was in kindergarten. “There’s just something not right about them. Jake was telling me something about them. How they don’t go there due to a pact their ancestors made with his. They were called the Cold Ones.”
You wanted to laugh at her serious tone. That girl was reading too many supernatural romance books. “You realize how silly that sounds.”
“I’m being serious.”
Trying to focus on your driving, you only half listen to her. “So am I Bella.”
Edward asked you to the spring dance the very next day.
Come April, you and Edward would be together for nearly a month. Impressive in your eyes considering that this was your first real relationship. In that time, Edward invited you over to his house many times. You got to know the rest of the family. You didn’t want to pick favorites but Emmett and Alice definitely held a special place in your heart.
They took care of you when you were lonely or had been fighting with Bella and Charlie.
Dating Edward had suddenly become a fuse in your relationship with the both of them. Neither liked you dating a member of the Cullens. You didn’t understand. For Charlie it may have been a protective father thing, but you still didn’t know why Bella held on to her dislike of them so fervently. You wouldn’t take the story Jacob gave her as an excuse.
Esme especially became the caring mother you never had. She was patient and was good at listening to your problems, even giving you words of wisdom. You felt whole when you were with them.
This was something Charlie and Bella couldn’t comprehend.
**
“Bella?”
While that voice had never spoken to her before, Bella knew the owner.
She turned around to face the petite Alice who was like a real life pixie.
Her guard is put up immediately. The Cullens only ever spoke to her sister (y/n). This. . . This was new. They hadn’t even bothered looking her way. Not even when Edward would come up to her when Bella was there and just swoop in.
Alice smiles prettily. “I was wondering if we can talk? Just for a few minutes, I promise.”
“What did you want to talk about?”
The smaller girl doesn’t reply but looks around uncertainly. “I was hoping I can speak with you somewhere less crowded.”
Pursing her lips, the last thing she wanted to do was be alone with her. Still, it was better than for them to get odd looks.
Bella relented and followed Bella to an empty corridor where the janitor’s closet was tucked away.
Alice began immediately “This is going to sound crazy. I know it will. But I need you to understand something about your sister and Edward. I know their relationship must seem so out of the blue. And I know you don’t particularly like us. (Y/n) and Edward, they’re meant to be together.”
And (y/n) had told her that Jacob’s story had sounded silly. This was downright insane for Alice to be saying.
She had sparse time to wrap her head around it before Alice spoke again. “It’s a deeper connection than between a human male and female. They’re coming together was predestined.”
Now Bella couldn’t hold it in as she let out her laugh. She couldn’t help the giggles that rolled out of her.
A frown upon her lips, Alice stood there until Bella quieted down.
Wiping the small tears that had pricked at her eyes, Bella said “Yeah that does sound crazy. You sound crazy.”
“Bella-“
“Look,” Bella checks the time on her phone to make sure the bell wouldn’t ring anytime soon “you, Edward and your entire weird family need to leave us alone.”
**
The ride home that day was absolute shit.
You and Bella were screaming at one another as you tried not to let your rage translate to your driving. How dare she have the gull to tell you that you needed to stop seeing Edward. Stop running to his family. What Alice had said was weird, that was true, but Alice had always been a little weirder than the rest of her family. That’s what you liked most about Alice. She wouldn’t apologize for being different.
When you reach the house, you slam on your breaks and tell Bella to get out.
“This is my truck too!!” Bella yells at you, refusing to move.
“Isabella Marie Swan” you hiss and Bella freezes having heard that tone before. It was the one you used to scold her when she was being a naughty child “You are my sister and I love you, but you need to get the fuck out of this truck.”
Her eyes are filling with trembling tears as she looks at you with shock smacking her cheeks pink with indignation and hurt.
You glare at her using all of your built up resentment that you’d accumulated through the years. Having to put Bella before yourself. Really it wasn’t her fault. The fault lay on Renee, but the way Bella was acting right now made you furious.
Slowly, she puts her hand on the door handle and pushes it open. She slips out but makes sure to slam the door extra hard.
Not bothering to look back, you shift into reverse and peel out of there.
There was only one place you wanted to be right now. People who would understand you.
Vampire.
Now that was to be the shock of the day.
You stare at the broken blade of the butcher knife that Edward had used to demonstrate the strength of his skin. He even read your mind to the ‘t’.
“So. . . Mates?” You hesitantly bring up the catalyst to Edward telling you that he and the rest of his family were vampires. That was what Bella had said Alice called them.
Bashfully he grins. “Ah. . . Yeah. Vampires mate for life. And. . . Well, Alice can see the future. She saw a future with us together.”
“Really?”
“Yeah.” Worry shines in his eyes. Would this be too much for you? The expression seemed to say.
Your head is buzzing and warm from all of this. So much had happened in just two hours that you were having a slow time at processing everything. This was a lot.
“Sorry to spring this all on you.” Edward sighs. “I’ve been thinking on how I would tell you. As you can see it’s not something I can tell just anyone. I was scared that you wouldn’t want me anymore. That you would feel our relationship forced.”
“It’s definitely a lot, but it doesn’t change how I feel about you.” You smile up at him and the break of relief on his face sends your own smile onto your lips.
He holds you to him and you return the embrace tenfold. The Cullens had been the best things to happen in your life. To know that you always belonged with them was enough to reinforce that thought.
“Is it too soon to say I love you?” He whispers against your temple.
“Not for us.”
May passed as did the spring dance where you and Edward had come to a certain agreement.
This agreement was discussed with the rest of the Cullens. Everyone was on board (of course again except for Rosalie).
Tension at the Swan household had been near suffocating. You had to be patient though.
The day of senior graduation wouldn’t be remembered for the event itself. It would always be remembered as the last day anyone saw you.
***
Three years.
That’s how long her sister had been missing.
Three years since the Cullens had been gone as well, their house lay vacant and empty. As if they had never lived there.
Charlie had exhausted all resources in trying to find (y/n).
Bella didn’t have it in her to leave the state for college. Not with Charlie still a mess. He cursed the Cullen name daily. People looked at them with pity.
She attended college via computer to be close to Charlie and keep an eye on him. In the meantime she’d picked up a job at the store Mike’s father owned. Decent money, enough to put her through school along with her scholarships.
Honestly, Bella wished she knew if her sister left on purpose or by force. Maybe that would lessen the hurt she left in her wake.
It was looking bleak though and nearly everyone stopped searching for her.
Huffing out a sigh, Bella runs her fingers through her hair in weariness and sets down her pencil. She couldn’t focus anymore. Not when the anniversary of (y/n)’s disappearance was one month away. It was like every day leading up to (y/n)’s senior graduation was being replayed in Bella’s dreams. The constant fighting and ensuing silence that followed were daily occurrences in those weeks. Bella had called (y/n) delusional. (Y/n) had called Bella an ungrateful brat.
So many words she wanted to take back but the damage was done.
The doorbell rings, calling Bella to attention and she sluggishly leaves her room to glide down the stairs. She opens the door and her heart nearly stops.
“(Y-y/n)?”
The person at her door looked so much like (y/n) except. . . Well, (y/n) wasn’t ugly, but she’d never been this beautiful. Her skin was stunning and seemed to glow. The best features of her face seemed to be enhanced in some way. Makeup maybe but Bella couldn’t say for sure.
What was absolutely different from (y/n) were the gold colored eyes. Cullen eyes.
Speaking of, Edward stood to the side of her looking the same as he did three years ago. His eyes matched (y/n)’s.
On (y/n)’s other side. . .
Bella had never seen this girl before. Eerily though she looked like both (y/n) and Edward mixed together but she was far too old to be their kid. No way. But. . . She had the color of what (y/n)’s eyes used to be. The warmest brown. Her fair skinned face is framed by Edward’s bronze ringlets.
“Hey. . .” (Y/n) tries to smile. “Please don’t freak out but can we come in?”
Dumbly, Bella stares and she vaguely remembers nodding her head before letting the three inside.
(Y/n)’s gold eyes move quickly around the house. “Wow. . . Still nothing has changed.” She murmured to herself.
It was like Bella was watching a ghost float down the hall to the living room. Edward and the unnamed girl following after her. The girl shot worrying looks over to Bella before following Edward.
Stiffly, Bella followed the procession into the living room and watched them sit down.
“You’re alive.”
(Y/n) grimaced and chooses her words carefully. “Yes. . . I. . . I’m so sorry Bella.
Bella looked at Edward. “You ran away with him.”
She nodded and Edward put a protective hand atop of (y/n)’s. Only then did Bella spot the gold band wrapped around (y/n)’s left ring finger.
Swallowing thickly, Bella looked at her older sister. “You eloped.” She corrected herself.
“Yes.” (Y/n) replied within a heartbeat. “I don’t regret the decision but I regret hurting you and Charlie. I should have left a note but I was so angry with the both of you. It was childish and I’m sorry if you and Charlie suffered.”
Both Edward and the young girl watch Bella carefully; gauging her reaction.
“And. . .” (Y/n) glanced at Edward who subtly nods “and I wanted to explain why I left and for you to meet our daughter, Nessa.”
**
Oh were you nervous.
You didn’t even think a vampire could feel this nervous.
If only you could read your sister better. Not even Edward could delve into her mind though.
This was bad. You knew coming had been a bad idea and that you may make things worse by telling her. But you couldn’t let go of the guilt with just up and leaving Bella. For the longest time you had watched over her. It felt weird to just abandon her. At the same time though, eloping with Edward had been something you really needed.
You’d married Edward immediately when you were deemed a safe distance away.
The life you had chosen was not what you had first anticipated.
From that first night of being physical with Edward, you became pregnant. He had planned to change you the very next day but now he couldn’t.
Everyone freaked out most certainly, but while the pregnancy was not the easiest, it definitely moved along quickly.
Early on you found how blood actually fed you and the fetus better than any human food. Great practice for what you would have to do once you were transformed. Edward had doubts of if you would survive. Alice’s sight was what gave you your calm. No matter what she still saw you in Edward’s future. As she did your daughter.
You couldn’t meet your daughter right away after her birth.
Once she’d been removed from you, Edward immediately changed you. This was all part of the plan. Everyone knew going into it that it would be unlikely for you to survive naturally. The only thing that would save you would be vampire venom.
Before your state got any weaker, Edward sunk his teeth into you.
You were born again into a sturdier body.
Your hybrid daughter, much like in the womb, grew fast but you noticed a decline in growth once her second birthday came around. Now she looked much like your frozen age of eighteen.
You knew she’d have an incredulous look when you introduced Nessa. It easily led into you explaining what had happened. You even used the same demonstration Edward had three years prior when telling you that he was a vampire. You’d buy Charlie a new knife to replace the broken one that bent against the force of your diamond strong skin.
All the while, Bella was absolutely silent. She couldn’t take her eyes off of you or Nessa. Then after you’re done speaking, her focus turns to your husband and Bella’s brown eyes narrow.
Wanting to erase that expression of deep bitterness that she shot Edward, you apologize once again for leaving. How many times had you apologized?
“You abandoned us for them. We thought. . . We were thinking the worst (y/n). All this time. . .” Bella’s eyes burned with a mixture of hurt and betrayal. Her bottom lip which she usually chewed when she was nervous trembled. While her and Charlie had been worried sick, (y/n) had become this monstrously beautiful creature. You could feel her emotions boiling over and you allow her to scald you. “And you waited three years to come back.”
“I had to get through the newborn phase.” Hastily you explain. “There was no way I could have seen you earlier. I needed. . . Needed to learn control over this new body of mine.”
You’re grateful that Edward keeps quiet but you could feel him stir beside you, not liking how you’re basically groveling with explanations with the hope that Bella would forgive you. He had warned you about this. About it being too much for Bella.
“Control.” Bella laughed at that making you inwardly flinch at the disdain dripping from her. “This is what you call control? Abandoning your family, leaving us in agony-”
“For the longest time I had to give up MY own happiness.” Instantly you snap, feeling heat rush through you although you knew that you couldn’t really get hot or cold. “I gave up my childhood to take care of not just you but freaking Renee too!! I wanted to be selfish for once in my life. And yes, it has made me beyond happy making a life with the Cullens and MY daughter.”
Never had you voiced your resentment of never having anything to yourself. Bella couldn’t have possibly known.
Now Bella’s narrowed eyes turn to Nessa who is staring wide eyed at her aunt. “And what about her? What kind of abomination is she? A mix of human and vampire? How could you bring such a monstrosity into this world?”
Abruptly, Edward stands. Unable to let her slander go on any further even as you grab at the sleeve of his shirt to pull him back down. Nessa’s face fell, her innocent eyes cloud with hurt making even you want to snap at your cruel sister. “She’s our daughter, Bella. She’s not a monster. She’s a beautiful, innocent child who deserves love and acceptance.”
From how fast he had stood, Bella had pressed herself into the couch; partially out of fear of what an enraged vampire would do.
Glancing at Nessa, you notice that Bella did seem to soften even if a little bit when she caught the hurt on Nessa’s face.
Taking a deep breath, Bella pulls her back away from the couch cushion. Even if she hated you for leaving, she had no reason to hate your daughter. Something in her throat bobs with emotion. “I’m sorry Nessa. . . But I can’t condone any of this.” She goes back to you. “You ran off to live some happy little life while leaving Charlie and I to mourn. I’m sorry it was so terrible taking care of me that you felt you had to run away.”
“Bella-”
“I need all of you to get out before Charlie comes home. He. . . He can’t see you like this.”
You don’t want to leave, not until Bella understood why you left but it was a losing battle as she could only focus on her hurt.
Nessa grabs your hand and through her supernatural talent of conveying her thoughts and feelings, she sends you comforting waves of how you were still loved by her and the Cullens. That this didn’t have to be the end of it, but that it would be best to give your sister space.
Your Nessa had always been so smart beyond her years thanks to her accelerated brain. You squeeze her hand in your grip and nod.
Leaving made you feel like you had lost but it was the best thing to do right now and not push Bella.
Edward kept his arm wrapped around your shoulders as he led you and Nessa back to his car.
“That could have gone so much worse.” You say once all of you return to the old Cullen house. Nessa had gone off to help Esme with cleaning up the place. They’d always loved their Forks home and were loathe to leave in the beginning. You promised Esme that all of you would return one day.
Edward kisses your temple and hums. “Didn’t expect her to say those things about Nessa.” He was still upset at that. Nessa was a miracle and the family’s pride and joy. After giving birth to her, Rosalie even started to warm up toward you.
You wished you had seen Charlie but Bella may have been right about it best that he didn’t see you so changed. Alice had given you contact lenses that matched your human color eyes but they irritated your eyes and would only last for an hour or two.
“I did hurt them by leaving.” You mumble. “I know that. Is it bad that I don’t regret my actions though?” The fact that you hadn’t even left a note had bothered you the past three years. Instead you let Edward spirit you away in the dead of night where no prying eyes could see where you disappeared into.
“You did what you had to do to get freedom.” Edward coaxes you to the tarp covered couch and onto his lap so your head lay on his chest. He cradles you in his arms and holds you close to him. “We have Nessa now because of the decisions you made.”
Yes, you had your Nessa and a family that actually supported you instead of forcing so much responsibility on you.
You were unarguably happier than before.

Should I?
Based on this request:  Hi Meg! May I please request a continuation of “Why Shouldn’t I?” where the reader and Charlie are getting married and Charlie is going to be turned. Bella is pissed and really hates her new step-mother because she thinks she should be the only special Swan. Does that make sense?
Here you are!! As requested, this is part 2 of “Why Shouldn’t I?” *Familiar Characters are NEVER mine!*
Fandom: Twilight
Warnings: Angst-ish? Bella bashing, FLUFF!!
Pairings/Characters: Charlie Swan x fem!vampire reader, Bella, Edward, The Denali Coven, The Volturi
Tumblr media
A smile graced your face as you neared Charlie's house. He had invited you over for a quiet evening in, which you absolutely didn't mind. Being with the Cullens was almost NEVER quiet and the smell of Jacob was sometimes too much to bear. You loved being able to get away from it all with your mate. Bella hated it, but you hardly paid her any mind. She wasn't going to come between you and Charlie.
Charlie was the most amazing mate you could have ever asked for. Once you knew how to talk to him, he opened up. And when you were no longer keeping your true self a secret, Charlie had been nothing but supportive, asking questions and listening to your answers intently. He was the most kind, patient, and giving man you'd met in every aspect, but also wasn't afraid of letting you know his real thoughts on things. It was refreshing and the more time you spent together, the more he swore he was feeling the bond of true mates.
The door opened just as you set foot on the top step. Charlie greeted you with a smile before pulling you in for a deep kiss. If you needed oxygen, his kisses would absolutely take your breath away though this one seemed even more passionate. It sparked a flame in you nearly instantly, but you pulled away before things could go further. Charlie's playful expression of betrayal made you laugh as you gently moved passed him inside the warm home.
"So, what is the plan f-" you cut yourself off when you turned back to see Charlie standing there, a small velvet box in his hands. "Wh-" Charlie gave you an awkward smile. "I wasn't sure how to surprise you with this, so I decided it was best to just come out with it. I-I never wanted to get married again. I was bachelor and happy with that. But then…then you asked me to dance at my daughter's wedding. The minute I held you in my arms, I was a goner." If you could cry, you were certain you would be. This was the most Charlie had ever spoken about his feelings at one time before.
"I want to be with you forever if you'll let me. I realize that's a lot longer than I originally thought, but I want it. So…will you?" You giggled lightly and he continued, "Sorry. Will you be my wife?" You pulled him into a hug, careful not to hurt him. "Of course I will, Charlie."
*time skip*
A lot of brides talk about how nervous they are on their wedding day. Maybe that was because humans didn't share the true mate bond the way vampires did. Or maybe it was being in front of all the people. You didn't know. What you did know was that you weren't at all nervous. In fact, you couldn't wait. The morning seemed to drag on as you got ready. Even your reunion was Carmen and Eleazar couldn't speed the time up enough for you. However, there was one thing, or rather one person, that nearly brought time to a screeching halt only moments before the ceremony was due to start.
The door to the room you were getting ready in burst open. You jumped a little, causing Tanya to scold you as she did your make up. In the mirror, you caught sight of Bella standing there with her arms crossed over her chest. "You can't do this. You can't change him! Convince him to stay human. You said the Volturi wouldn't kill him because he's your mate. He can stay human. You should let him do that."
"Should I?" you asked with a hum. "Yes." You sighed and gently touched Tanya's arm to get her to stop. You stood and turned to face your future step-daughter. "And did you speak to your father about this before you came barging here demanding things of me?" Bella's silence told you that she hadn't. "Don't you think Charlie and I have talked about this at length? He wants to change. For me and for you." Bella looked a little surprised.
"Me?" You let out a loud sigh. "Bella are you seriously telling me that you are that self-absorbed that you haven't noticed how your father dotes on you? He adores you. You are his daughter, his pride and joy. And now you're living forever. He doesn't want you to lose him. If he knew how little you actually think of him, how little you valued his love for you, or how you were willing to break his heart for someone that wasn't your mate then later deciding that he himself couldn't have that chance at happiness, he may not be so keen."
"You didn't tell him that, did you?!" You scoffed and replied that you hadn’t. "I wouldn't do that to him. Charlie is a kind soul who wants what's best for the people he loves. He's everything I could have asked for in a true mate and I hope he never discovers the kind of person you really are, Isabella. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to finish getting ready. I'm getting married in a few minutes."
Your wedding to Charlie went off without a hitch. Charlie actually teared up when you were saying your vows after he had stuttered through his own. You remained with a smile on your face and your hands clasped in his the entire time. You could feel the eyes of all your family and friends and even the Volturi on you two. But you only had eyes for your mate as your officiate declared you husband and wife before the two of you sealed your union with a kiss.
At your reception, you were surprisingly swept into a dance with Marcus while Carmen had managed to convince Charlie to dancing with her, knowing that it wouldn't hurt if he stepped on her feet. "It has been a long time since I've seen a bond as strong as the one between you and Chief Swan. Not since my own with Didyme. I wish you both all the best," Marcus told you and you smiled before thanking him.
You spent the rest of the night being passed around between everyone, whether to dance or simply to chat, but eventually you ended up in Charlie's arms again. "There you are," he greeted with a soft smile. You lost yourself in his chocolate eyes and had to admit that's one thing you would miss when he was no longer human. But the thought of forever overtook that. "Are you ready to head out?" You nodded eagerly. "Let's go."
"Ch-Dad, wait. You don't have to do this," Bella said suddenly after the two of you had moved away from the crowd. She was whispering, but that really didn't matter since most of the guests in attendance were vampires. "Do…what exactly?" Charlie asked, confused. "You don't have to change. You have the choice. Did she tell you that?" You fought the urge to roll your eyes. At least she wasn't making a big scene.
"What is this about, Bella? Is there a reason you don't want me to do this? You did this." Edward and the Volturi had joined you by this point. Edward looked just as confused as you and Charlie felt. "Bella, what's going on?" he asked. "I'm just trying to protect my dad," she replied but it was obvious no one believed her. Charlie looked at you.
"If I may, Isabella," Aro cut in, "We have spoken to both Y/N and your father at length. This is his choice. It seems as though you are simply trying to keep a pair of true mates apart for some selfish reason. But that is a crime punishable by death. Surely you would not wish your demise upon young Edward or your child." That shut the young vampire up and she allowed you to pass. Charlie pressed a kiss to his daughter's forehead as he walked by with you on his arm.
You and Charlie spent three glorious weeks together on your honeymoon before traveling to a more deserted location. It was time. "This is going to hurt. The pain…it's unbearable for some. But I will be right by your side. I promise. I love you," you told him. At his nod, you leaned in and let your teeth sink into his flesh.
Charlie's POV
You had been right. The pain was excruciating. All Charlie knew was darkness and pain. His memories of parts of his human life were fading. The important memories remained. Throughout it all, he swore he heard your voice speaking to him through the fog of pain and dark. He felt his body breaking. Breaking to the point of death and then…nothing.
When Charlie opened his eyes again, the world looked different. More clear. More beautiful. He could see even smallest speck of dust in the air. He could hear the buzz of a bee miles away. And he could smell everything. But what drew his attention was the burning sensation in his throat.
"You need to hunt, my love." Your voice, sounding even more clear and lovely drew Charlie's attention. He let his eyes flicker to you. If he had been taken by your beauty before, he was even more so now. Charlie was up in an instant, pulling you into a hug. As he hugged you, he caught sight of his reflection in a nearby mirror. Red eyes stared back at him and he knew it was all over and just beginning at the same time. He really would be with you, his love, his true mate, for eternity.
(a/n: I hope you enjoyed this part!)

Christmas carols, old and heard for the hundredth time, playing on a continuous loop, filled every corner and flooded the deserted rooms of the house at the end of the world, oozing with joy and the purest form of delight a heart could feel.
Blue eyes, the beauty of a summer's sky, sparkled. Charlie and his sister, dressed in jumpers with laughing reindeers and grinning snowmen sledging down the hills, tried to count the variously sized ornaments with glittering elements adorning the tree. Light wooden figures were lurking between the ornaments in reddish hues. Fairy lights twinkled like stars and rising flames gnawed at the logs.
Feet dangled from the sofa covered by dozens of pillows and fluffy blankets, hidden in a box in the attic during the warm months. The children stared impatiently at the screen, but no complaint crossed their lips. The door slammed into the lock, and a bunch of keys jiggled. Charlie, threw the blankets aside and jumped followed by his sister off the sofa, ran past the kitchen island and Y/N looked after them as she poured the warm, not boiling liquid into the almost identical cups with rows of red flakes, dots and dancing snowman.
Joyful voices greeted the returned father. The heavy, dark leather bag fell to the ground. Thomas laughed, felt arms wrapping around his leg and he lifted the young girl from the ground, pressed her tight to his chest and ruffled the boy's hair. Snow was thawing and gossamer waterfalls danced over his face. His eyes, once dull, sparkled, forgot the past, the cruel word beyond the thick locked wooden door, and noticed the knitted jumpers.
"We have been waiting. Come. Everything's set! We have picked out a movie. And if we are not nice, the Grinch will steal our cookies." the children sang out almost in sync as if they had been memorising the sentences on the sofa for several hours as if it was a poem.
The Shelby chuckled and settled his daughter down next to Charlie. The burden of everyday life disappeared. His right hand slipped into his coat pocket and, with the push of a button, he turned the sound of his smartphone off.
"I'm here, Mister Grinch will not steal your cookies. Where is mom?" Thomas inquired.
The dark-haired man leaned to the side, hoping to catch sight of his wife leaning against the door, but the soft hum of a melody crossing her lips accompanied by the sound of clinking spoons let him know she was in the kitchen.
Hands reached for him, clutching his firmly and the children pulled the father still dressed in the coat into the depths of the house, past reindeers with reddish scarves and saluting nutcrackers. They ignored his complaints, wishing to finally find themselves on the sofa and turn on the fairy tale.
Entering the living room, the scent of Christmas, oranges, apples, and chocolate greeted him. His eyes slid across the richly decorated room. The reindeer pulling the swan carriage next to the nutcrackers in uniforms saluted and protected the snowmen family on the window seat, and Thomas wondered how he could have disliked Christmas, almost loathe, the merry time. The thick, indestructible layer of ice protecting his heart like a shield of silver and steel melted away. Once he would have called the reddish pyjamas with snowmen and nutcrackers childish and idiotic, something a grown woman should not wear, but it looked better on his wife than an evening gown. Her hair falling in gentle waves framed her features, touched by the soft light. The children released his hands and told him to follow swiftly, but the father didn't listen as they ran back to the sofa.
Y/N exhaled, turned, and faced her husband. He remembers, Y/N thought to herself, glancing at the clock and seeing that it was still before seven, knowing he had been thinking of them, trying to keep the promise he had made to at least try to arrive earlier to spend time with his family.
Grinning, Thomas cast his gaze over his shoulder and glanced after the chatting children. He took off the coat and threw it onto the bar stool. Thomas flashed his wife a smile, stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her waist, placed his hands on the small of her back and breathed a feather-light kiss on her lips.
"I missed you," Thomas whispered, barely audible, but Y/N heard the words loud and clear.
"I missed you too. How was your day? Are you tired? We waited but we can watch the movie tomorrow. You are probably exhausted. Arthur called and told me you might arrive later, that your day was rough." Y/N spoke.
Thomas chuckled, lowered his gaze to the cups with whipped cream, colourful sprinkles and chocolate flecks.
"I'm not tired. You don't have to worry about me. I am fine. Nothing a cup of coffee can't fix and we should join the children if we want cookies." Thomas answered.
Y/N didn't have to look at the table, heard the giggling children tampering with the round white and silver plates, searching for the most delicious biscuits and devouring them as if they hadn't eaten in days.
"You should have seen them in the afternoon when they came from school and kindergarten. You might have noticed, but the gingerbread house is gone. I was in the shower, maybe ten minutes gone, and when I returned, the house was gone." Y/N breathed.
Astonished, Thomas turned and noticed that instead of the gingerbread house was a reindeer on the mantlepiece.
"I noticed the sweets were missing." Thomas laughed.
"The gingerbread wasn't even soft. It was hard as a rock. But they didn't mind. They drank at least a litre of milk to soften it. And now they are planning to build a new house and I am surprised that their stomach doesn't ache." reported Y/N.
She leaned her head on his chest. His fingers sank into her hair, brushed through the light waves, and breathed lovely words into her ear. The children switched off the lamp and the only source of light was the dimly glowing Christmas tree, and Charlie called out to the parents, gazing into each other's eyes like love-struck lovers.

Total Eclipse Of The Heart (Part 9)
Jacob Black x Vampire!Swan Reader
This has been in my drafts for over 2 years 😂Proceed with caution, steamy make out session and some blood drinking.
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
It has been ten minutes…maybe more since Y/N was taken into the Cullen’s meeting room. It’s been radio silence, since Bella and Edward came back from their honeymoon. When Y/N does emerge, Jacob knows immediately, something is very wrong.
“Jacob,” she reaches a hand toward him. “Come with me?”
Jake moves to stand, twining their fingers and allowing the vampire to lead him out the front door, down to his bike. He leans against it, expectantly. “You gonna tell me what the hell’s going on?”
“Bella’s pregnant.”
“With what exactly?” Jacob grimaces.
“Carlisle isn’t sure, they’re…we’re trying to figure it out.”
“So make them take it out of her, he’s a doctor.”
“Jake,” Y/N shakes her head, “she doesn’t want it out.”
“What?”
“It’s her choice and I won’t take it from her.” She knows what it feels like.
“This is different.” This is fucked.
“She thinks Carlisle can turn her at the last minute.” Y/N fidgets with his fingers as she speaks.
“Can he?” The wolf clears his throat.
“It’s possible.”
“But not probable.”
“Baby,” Y/N frowns, “I don’t want to fight. I need you to help me, help her.”
Jacob sighs, “what can I do?”
————————————————————————
Charlie is not so easily swayed, he knows Y/N knows something. He watches his eldest daughter intently at breakfast.
Bella is sick with some kind of bug, currently recovering at a luxury facility in Sweden. Or so the story goes.
The sheriff eyes his oldest daughter over the morning paper.
Y/N catches him, meeting his eye with an awkward smile as she forces a spoonful of cereal into her mouth.
“When did we start lying to each other, kid?” Charlie asks.
“When it became necessary to keep you safe. I think it’s the same on your end.”
Charlie is taken aback by this. It’s the most honest answer he’s got from her in months. “If you’re in some kind of trouble, or Bella is-”
“It’s not the kind of trouble you can help me with.”
“Wish you’d at least talk to me about it.”
“I wish I could, Dad.” Y/N admits.
“But you can’t. For the sake of my safety?” He knows this game.
“All of ours.”
Charlie sighs. “Do you know anything else about Bella? How she’s doing?”
“I know she’s alright.” For now. “That’s all I know.”
————————————————————————
Days pass in a blur, Bella withering away as her belly grows.
“How’s dad?” She asks Y/N, curling both legs up under her, on the couch.
Y/N tosses her a blanket. “He’s alright. He misses you though.” She can’t imagine what he’ll be like when they actually…leave.
Bella nods. “How are you?”
“I’m ok.” Y/N lifts a shoulder. She has to be. “The baby could be here anytime now, I need to hunt so I’ll be gone for the day.”
“That’s fine.” Bella’s teeth chatter, she is so cold.
“I’ll leave Jacob with you, he can be your personal hot box.”
“N-no.” Bella forces out, “you don’t have to.”
“I’m not letting you suffer anymore than you already are, Bella.” Y/N mutters, bitterly.
Jacob is leaning against the doorframe, with his arms crossed, waiting for his queue.
Y/N makes her way over to him, feeling his arms encircle her waist, crushing her to him. She nuzzles into the crook of his neck. “Will you stay with her?”
“Yeah,” his words are lost in her hair.
She presses a kiss to his jugular.
“I would let you.” Jacob whispers, “if you want to try, so you don’t have to leave her like this.”
Y/N pulls back, searching his eyes. “No, Jake.” It’s come up before. Bite me.
“I’m not affected by your venom unless I’m already injured.”
“No.”
“It’s no different than you drinking from an animal. I heal fast, it won’t be an issue.”
Y/N opens her mouth to protest.
“I can feel you,” Jacob reminds her. “There’s nothing to feel bad or guilty about. I want you to.”
“Are you sure?” Y/N doesn’t want to further complicate their relationship.
He nods, “come on.” They find an unoccupied room in the Cullen’s home. Jacob flops down on their cream colored sofa, patting his lap.
Y/N eyes him, warily. Climbing to sit over top his thighs, facing him.
Jacob brushes Y/N’s hair over her shoulders and out of the way. Kissing her lips, her forehead, her nose, “bite me.”
She finds a spot on the side of his neck, peppering his beautiful skin with her kisses, breaking it with her teeth.
Jacob groans, turning his head to give her better access.
Y/N whimpers as his blood fills her mouth, trickling down to ease the burning in her throat.
“You’re ok.” He swallows and she feels it against her tongue. “I love you.”
Fuck. Y/N rolls her hips against his. “I love you.”
“I know,” he guides her back to the opening on his neck. His heart beats faster at the pull of her sucking swallows, he hopes she never stops. Jacob sighs contently as she takes her fill of him on the Cullen’s sitting room couch.
Her lips are on his, the moment she’s finished. His bitter blood in her mouth, it’s not as good as the animals she’s accustomed to feeding from. The only thing making the taste bearable is the knowledge that it’s his. Jacob’s blood fueling her, filling her. Belonging to him so wholly.
Jacob tastes the blood and kisses her anyway. The wound on his neck has already begun to heal, he pulls her closer. He never wants her to drink from anything but him again.
Perhaps it’s the imprint, or the reincarnation, maybe it’s just love. Whatever the culprit may be, they are in it now, too deep to ever surface.
Only one thing could steal them from revelry now. The sound of Bella’s tortured screams. The baby is coming.

Y/N Swan daughter of Charlie Swan and Renee Dwyer. She was two years younger than Bella and was in her Junior year of high school. Bella had already graduated from highschool and left forks with her boyfriend Jacob leaving her single father behind. Y/N had arrived a few days later and she had run up to her father before hugging him tightly. "I missed you so much kiddo" Charlie said as he hugged his youngest daughter. He pulled away and looked down at Y/N to see her hair was dyed a dark purple color and she had a nose piercing. "Well you sure have grown" he said as he ruffled Y/N's hair up. "Come on dad don't do that" Y/N grumbled out as she swatted his hand off before fixing her hair. "Still a grump though I see" he said before picking up Y/N's suitcases and walking into the house. Y/N followed him in and shut the door behind her. "Your room is still the same I hope you don't mind that" Charlie said as the two made their way upstairs. "No I don't mind" Y/N said as they walked to her room. Charlie set the suitcases down before opening Y/N's door. "Y/N walked in and looked around the room.
Tumblr media
"I'll let you settle in then we'll go to the diner alright" Charlie said and Y)N nodded. "Thanks dad" Y/N said as she kissed her father's cheek before shutting the door. She walked over and flopped onto the bed sighing as she rolled onto her back. She looked up at the ceiling before sitting back up. She criss-crossed her legs before looking around the room smiling.
Y/N walked into school the next day looking at her schedule when she heard someone speak to her. "You're Y/N Swan right" a boy said causing Y/N to look up. "Yeah I am" Y/N said and the boy smiled before holding his hand out. "I'm Eric" the boy said and Y/N just smiled. "Well it's nice to meet you" Y/N said and the boy rubbed the back of his neck. "Guessing you don't like contact much" he said and Y/N just stayed silent and went back to looking at her schedule.
It was lunch time now and Y/N was sitting at a table with Eric and his friends when she felt two pairs of eyes on her. She looked up and over her shoulder to see five people sitting at a far table. The two women were looking at Y/N already causing her face to flush before she looked away. "Who are those five" Y/N said causing the group to look at her before she motioned towards the far table. "Oh those are the Cullen's the black haired boy is Emmett Cullen he's so hot, the blonde haired boys name is Jasper Hale the brown haired boys name is Edward Cullen and the two girls Rosalie Hale & Alice Cullen their dating each other" Jessica said and Y/N looked back over to see the two woman staring at her but with slight smirks this time. Alice had looked Y/N up and down before looking at Rosalie who looked back at her.
Tumblr media
"Y/N" Angela said snapping her fingers in front of Y/N's face causing her to snap out of it. She looked back over at her friends to see them all looking at her already. "What were you saying" Y/N said and they all sighed. As her friends went back to talking she glanced back over quickly to see them all looking at her now causing her to whip her head back.
"I crave you in the most innocent form" Rosalie said as she stepped towards Y/N who was standing in the middle of the room. "I crave to say good night and give you forehead kisses and to say that I adore you when you feel at your worst" Alice said as she put her hands on Y/N's shoulders causing her to jump slightly at the cold contact. "I crave you in ways where I just want to be next to you and nothing more or less" the both of them said as Rosalie stopped in front of Y/N and leaned in while grabbing Y/N's hands with her cold one's causing Y/N to shiver. Rosalie's lips touched Y/N's before she gasped. She looked around the room and realized she was in her bedroom in her bed. She touched her forehead and she felt sweat making her rub her arm across it. "What the hell was that I've never had a dream like that before and why the hell did I dream about those two" Y/N muttered out as she stroked her hands through her dark purple hair. She fell back onto her bed and looked up at the ceiling. She sighed before getting out of bed and walked towards her computer desk.
Tumblr media
The next day at Lunch Y/N waited by the door the Cullens had walked in through the day before. The group stopped when they saw Y/N standing there waiting. She pushed herself off the wall and looked at them. "What are you doing here" Edward said and was about to walk towards Y/N but Rosalie stopped him with a hand against his chest. "I want to know why you guys were staring at me all day yesterday at Lunch" Y/N muttered out. Rosalie and Alice looked at each other before looking back at Y/N. "We don't have to give you a reason on why we were staring at you and it's our business" Rosalie said with an annoyed tone causing Y/N to roll her eyes. "Now if you'll excuse" Rosalie said before the group walked past her. Y/N huffed before looking through the glass windows to see her friends looking at her. She groaned before rushing up to the group and grabbed Rosalie's wrist. The two froze in place when Y/N realized Rosalie's skin was cold to the touch. Rosalie froze since she never let anybody touch her except her family. "Get your hand off of me" Rosalie growled out as she turned her head. Y/N immediately let go and looked away.
Y/N was at the salad and fruit bar in the cafeteria when she dropped on apple. She looked up to see Emmett standing there holding the apple in his hand while grinning. "What you did just a couple minutes ago was brave" he said as he held the apple out. Y/N slowly took it and smiled up at him since he was pretty tall. "T-thanks I guess" Y/N said and Emmett nodded before grabbing a pear and walking away. Y/N watched as he sat down before he was hit on the back of the head by Rosalie causing Y/N to giggle quietly.
When Y/N got home she immediately went to her room and shut the door behind her before going to her computer. She searches through the internet for hours until Charlie knocked on the door. "Y/N dear come down and eat will you" her father said and Y/N looked at the door before looking back at the computer. "I'll be down in a minute" Y/N shouted and a couple seconds later she heard her father's footsteps disappear. She looked back at the computer and sighed. She was about to close it when she saw a weird website in the search history. She decided to click on it and he eyes widened in shock. She scrolled through the website and saw some words like Cold-skinned, pale, incredible speed, enhanced strength. When she scrolled all the way to the bottom she gulped. Vampire.
Y/N had stayed far away from them after that. Y/N was sitting outside in the gloomy weather. It was foggy and the sun wasn't out. Ever since Y/N had grabbed Rosalie's wrist that day she has been acting weird. "Rosalie why don't you go talk to her" Emmett said as he slightly shoved the blonde forward. "No" she growled out as she hit him in the chest. "She's looking this way" Edward said and Rosalie as well as Alice looked up to see Y/N looking at them. She looked away before grabbing her bag and headed towards the woods. "Go go follow her" Emmett said shoving the two stubborn girls towards Y/N. They both glared at Emmett but he just looked at them causing them to huff. The two went after Y/N and Emmett smiled. "You owe me 30 bucks" he said as he looked at Edward. Jasper looked between the two before rolling his eyes as Edward slapped a 30 dollar bill into Emmett's hands. "Did you really have to bet against them" he said and the two looked at him. "Loosen up brother it's called entertainment you should really try it instead of being quiet all the time and reading" Edward said as he snatched the book out of Jasper's hands.
The two followed Y/N into the forest and stopped when Y/N stopped while dropping her bag to the ground. "You're impossibly fast and strong. Your skin is pale white and ice cold" Y/N said not daring to turn around. You don't go out in the sunlight" Y/N said as she felt a breath fan across Y/N's neck causing her to gulp. "How old are you" Y/N continued. "We're both 19" Alice said as she stepped in front of Y/N "How long have you been 19" Y/N said still not looking at the two. "A while" Rosalie muttered out as her breath fanned across Y/N's neck from standing too close. "I know what you are" Y/N muttered out and the two looked at each other before their eyes darkened. "Say It" Rosalie growled out causing Y/N to gulp. Y/N stayed quiet for a couple minutes. "Out Loud. Say It" She said and Y/N breathed in and out. "Vampires" Y/N said as she finally looked up to see Alice standing right in front of her.

The Assistant - Charlie Swan (smut)
Another day, another Charlie fic. Please like and reblog if you enjoyed reading this. Enjoy my loves. xxx
Summary: (Y/n) is hired as Charlie's assistant, and even though he doesn't want an assistant, it doesn't take long for them to give in.
Warnings: 18+, smut, unprotected sex, swallowing, somewhat public sex, age gap (legal reader ofc)
Pairing: Charlie Swan x fem!reader (2.4k words)
Tumblr media
“Charlie, you’ve got a second?” Charles called out to the man, eyes flickering from (y/n)’s features to the chief. The man had his eyes set on the file he was working on, slowly looking up from the paper. His dark eyes met hers, taking in her features before his slightly confused gaze finally wandered to the police officer. “That’s (y/n), your new assistant.”
“Assistant? I don’t need an assistant, Charles.” The chief’s voice was deep, rougher than (y/n) had expected. She seemingly grew tense next to Charles, eyes trying to find his to figure out why the man didn’t know of her new position.
“Oh, c’mon, we’ve talked about this. You barely make it home before midnight, Charlie, we all know you’d like to spend more time with Bella, and (y/n) can help make that happen.” The chief’s gaze wandered back to (y/n)’s frame, studying the woman for a moment before a deep sigh rumbled through him. Slowly he raised his hand to point to the chair across from his, watching her move closer, all too hesitantly.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know you weren’t involved in this.” She murmured her words, barely able to hold eye contact with the handsome chief. (Y/n) had lived in Forks for a while by now, was no stranger to chief Swan’s appearance, and yet she had never been able to speak to him like this, closer than ever before. He was handsome, undoubtedly so, had something almost mysterious to him that perfectly aligned with the aesthetic of Forks, the town surrounded by trees for miles on end.
“Not your fault.” He closed his file and leaned back in his chair, reaching for his cup of coffee to buy himself some more time. “So, tell me, what did they hire you for?”
“For everything you need me, basically. I’ll make your coffee, take notes, organise your cases and do all administrative stuff, so you can make it home by six.” (Y/n) didn’t comment on it, but the man seemed to grow uneasy at her mention of being able to make it home, awfully oblivious to his uncomfortableness of making it home to an empty house. It felt like he was living with a shadow, the memory of a daughter he rarely saw, since she barely parted from her boyfriend and his family, one with the ones Charlie didn’t quite trust.
“Mhm, alright. I start my days at eight am, sharp, we don’t have much time for breaks.” She didn’t manage to stop her chuckles from bubbling out of her, interrupting him with her lips pulled into a smile as the chief studied her with a curious gaze.
“Don’t worry about that, they’ve shared everything with me, I’ve got your routine written down in detail.” A hum rumbled through the man, and for a few seconds he stared at her, not saying much. She didn’t dare let her eyes wander, holding contact till he finally gave in. Charlie tried to reach for his empty coffee cup, but (y/n) was faster, hand darting out to grab ahold of the cup, leaving his office with a small “I’ll refill it for you”.
And all Charlie could do was watch her disappear, unable to stop his chuckle from clawing through him, murmuring a soft “She’s good” to himself.
“Grab yourself something to write.” Charlie moved past (y/n)’s table, putting on his jacket as he was walking towards his car, waiting for her to follow.
She had been with him for about two weeks now, adapting to his routine, slowly but surely getting the man to open up. By now both were sharing their lunch breaks, exchanging stories and memories, learning more about one another. Charlie even shared some details about his home life, the daughter he barely saw, the boyfriend he didn’t really like and the uneasy feeling simmering deep inside of him. And (y/n) was right there, to listen, to try and help him with his fear, desperate to put a smile onto his thin lips.
“Where are we going?” (Y/n) asked as Charlie started the car, taking turns left and right to make their way to their destination. Charlie had his dark eyes set on the road ahead, silently cursing the rain that started pouring, pitter pattering against his windows.
“Something had killed most of James’ sheep.” For the past weeks Charlie had tried to figure out what was killing the animals around, adding more and more to the growing number with every passing day. The whole town was in on the hunt, trying to get rid of whatever kept them on their toes. “Do you have an umbrella?”
(Y/n) could only shake her head, not getting the chance to reply as Charlie had already parked the car and ripped his door open. He rounded the car, helping her out of it with his arm tightly slung around her waist and his jacket held over their heads. Her heart was racing, mind focusing on the tight grip he had on her, fingers buried in her skin.
Both found shelter in the farmer’s barn, greeting the man who had been waiting for them. (Y/n) desperately tried to focus on the words the two men were exchanging, scribbling down whatever she could pick up, but her mind wouldn’t let her rest, eyes focused on Charlie, the chief that was still standing close to her, perhaps a tad bit too close. The scent of his cologne stuck to her, mixed with the scent of rain and coffee, a comforting mixture she found herself silently obsessing over.
“(Y/n)?” Charlie murmured her name, ripping her out of a trance with a slight chuckle rumbling through him. “It’s been a long day, huh?”
Heat flushed through her as she murmured a small “Sorry”, hoping that she’d be able to stop her thoughts from wandering. “Alright, thank you for your time, James. I’ll call you if we find something, take care.”
Once again Charlie slung his arm around her waist, guiding (y/n) back to the car, patiently waiting for her to get inside before he rounded the car. Heat blew from the aircon, hoping to warm her shuddering frame up. Charlie’s hand found her thigh, absentmindedly rubbing the soaked through fabric, oblivious to the way (y/n) grew tense, pupils dilating.
“How about we’ll get you home, so you can change?” Their eyes met for a second, and with a nod thrown his way, (y/n) watched Charlie start the car, making his way back out of the forest.
“Can I help you?” (Y/n)’s eyes met the ones of a girl a few years younger than her, taking in the features that unmistakably reminded her of Charlie. It took her a few moments to realise that Bella had found her way to the police station. “You must be Bella.”
“I’m looking for my dad.” With a nod shot Bella's way, (y/n) let her eyes wander towards Charlie’s frame, watching him through the window of his door. It took the man a moment to feel her eyes on him, shooting (y/n) a small smile before his gaze wandered towards Bella.
“I’m almost finished, then we can head out for some lunch. Bells, that’s (y/n).” Heat flushed through her at the all too obvious gaze Bella shot her father, wondering what Charlie had told his daughter about her.
“I only came by to tell you that I’ll have lunch with the Cullen’s today.” A knowing smile widened on Bella’s lips, eyes flickering towards (y/n) for a second before they found their way back to Charlie. An awkward tension began to rise between them, followed by a few moments of silence, before (y/n) decided to put an end to the situation, turning towards Charlie with a smile.
“I’ll get you some lunch, same as always?” Charlie watched (y/n) reach for her bag, shooting Bella a small smile before she started to move towards the door.
“Wait, I’ll drive with you, gotta make use of my lunch break.”
---
“I don’t think you should drink coffee this late in the evening.” (Y/n) placed Charlie’s refilled cup down on his table, looking over his shoulder to get a glimpse of the file he was working on. It was way past 10 pm, the two were the only ones left at the station, and while Charlie tried to wrap his head around the new case, (y/n) found herself watching him from the chair across from his.
“Mhm, you sound like Bella.” Her chuckles echoed through the office, forcing his eyes to meet hers for a second. Charlie couldn’t stop his grin from widening on his lips, averting his gaze before it’d get too obvious. “Come, look at that, tell me what you see.”
(Y/n) moved closer once again, coming to a halt right next to Charlie, trying to focus on whatever he was pointing at. The blurry picture didn’t show much, a bunch of trees, nothing else her eyes could make out. She felt his heat radiating off him, standing closer to the man than she had intended, side brushing against his hand, making goosebumps rise on her skin.
“I,” she had to clear her throat, eyes threatening to flicker towards Charlie. “It’s just trees.” (Y/n) tried to take a step back, but she found herself losing her balance, hand darting out to catch herself, and with a gasp rumbling through her, (y/n) ended up pressed against Charlie. For a few seconds neither Charlie nor (y/n) dared to move, but the second (y/n)’s gaze flickered down to his lips, she felt him move closer.
Her tongue darted out to wet her lips, eyes meeting his before Charlie closed the gap between them, giving into the pull both had felt for the past days. The kiss was rushed, fueled by their need, the urges and desires keeping them going, desperate to explore more of one another. Charlie pressed (y/n) against his table, parting from her for a second to ask a raspy “Are you sure?”.
“Fuck, yes, need you, Charlie, please.” With a satisfied hum rumbling through Charlie, he pushed her onto his table, nestling between her thighs. His lips found back to hers, moustache tickling her skin, while his hands worked on her blouse, tugging it over her head to gain access to her chest. (Y/n)’s moans filled the office, eyes fluttering close as she felt him fumble with her trousers, lips wandering down her throat to find her sweet spot.
Her hands were trembling, toying with the buckle of his belt, needing to feel him in her hands, finally touching him like she had been dreaming of doing for the past weeks. The tension between them kept growing, threatening to push through them like a volcano erupting. She shuddered against him as she finally managed to free his cock, pumping him with shaking hands.
(Y/n) let go of him to stand up, allowing Charlie to push her trousers down her legs before he turned her around and pushed her front back down on the table. Her hands found the edge of the table, clinging to it with her hands, needing to find something to hold onto.
“There’s no going back after we do this, are you really sure about it?” Charlie had trouble wrapping his head around the fact that (y/n) wanted him as much as he wanted her, clinging to the mere thought of calling her his one day. “Need to hear you saying it, baby.”
“Charlie, I’ll start screaming, if you don’t fuck me now.” A throaty laugh rumbled through the man, and with his hand finding her waist, he pushed into her from behind, groaning as her walls clenched around his cock. (Y/n)’s whimpers urged him on, pulling out only to thrust back into her tightness, groaning whenever her walls fluttered around him.
Their bodies met over and over again, guided by his rough thrusts and her moans, eyes rolling back into her head. (Y/n) squealed his name as he met her swollen spot, struggling to keep on breathing, already feeling her orgasm building up.
“You feel so good, fuck, I’ve been wanting to do this since your first day ‘round here.” The confession left her moaning, teeth buried in her lower lip. (Y/n) struggled to reply, unable to form a full sentence, could only whimper his name. He slung one arm around her waist, hand finding her swollen bundle of nerves, thumb moving in circling motions.
Charlie kept staring at his cock, watching it disappear inside of her, coated in her arousal. Both were about to give in, trying to hold on, not wanting to end the moment just yet. Charlie’s hand wandered up her spine, pulling her from the table against his chest, leg raised with a hand guiding her thigh.
“Fuck, Charlie, I’m-” her orgasm rocked through her without another warning, eyes squeezed shut, hand finding his forearm to claw her fingernails into his skin. He kept fucking her, forehead pressed against her shoulder to relish in the sensation, in the way her walls gripped his cock.
He pulled out of her moment before he could cum, pumping himself with a deep groan roaring through the night. She sank to her knees with trembling limbs, eyes meeting his as she opened her mouth, tongue exposed to him. And with a heavy groan he came, releasing himself on her tongue, allowing (y/n) to taste him.
“Here, I got you.” Charlie pulled her back to her feet, allowing (y/n) to rest against the table as both slowly redressed. Their eyes met again, and with a breathy chuckle rumbling through her, (y/n) pulled Charlie in for another kiss.

Tumblr media
Though parties weren't really her scene, there was only so much more Charlie could take of her being in her room. Really, she had been feeling better little by little for the last couple of months, though she doubted she would ever feel completely whole again for a really long time, she wasn’t just wasting away like she was when Ed-...like she had been before. Jessica and Angela were being more than understanding, one more than the other though she didn’t want to name names, and the boys were keeping her easily distracted by asking her to tutor them. Jacob, of course, was doing more than enough by being by her side, even going as far as helping her fix up some old dirt bikes and teaching her to ride. Their weekly rides near the beach make the weekends that much sweeter, even if she’s probably spent more on laundry detergent in that time than she has her whole life.
So, she thought, you would think that all of this progress was good enough for Charlie to finally turn back to the relaxed, non-hovering parent she had come to appreciate, right? Wrong. Though he had gotten much better recently, finally stopping his stupid stop-ins to her room when she was quiet for too long, though it meant she was now doing her homework at the kitchen table rather than in the comfort of her room, he still looked at her like she was going to break apart at the slightest breeze, or even the mention of the Cullens. Cullen was a phrase much easier for her to say, recalling her near-death experience with Jasper and Rosalie’s sour face to cover Alice’s smiling face or Emmet’s welcoming demeanor or Esme’s gentle hands, but some words still caused her to shiver or go stockstill despite her reassurance that she was better, that she was going to be okay. Charlie knew better than to mention the redheaded Cullen if he could avoid it. And, so long as he remembered it, Bella was fine. Even if Charlie’s eyes betrayed his reassuring words, and his typical late nights at the office were instead moved to the house, papers scattered across the coffee table to act like both the crime map and coasters for his beer, she would continue to be.
She knew he was trying, trying as much as he possibly could for someone who didn’t really raise his daughter until the most hormonal parts, but it was like he didn’t even remember who she was…before. Scrapes and bruises on her arms from general clumsiness earned her a self-harm prevention pamphlet on her bed, missed meals earned her a furrowed brow, and any plans that weren’t outside made his mustache wiggle in an almost amused way. This, though, she almost wanted to scream at.
“Dad, seriously?”
“Listen, I’m just worried, Bells. It feels like you’ve been cooped up in your room for days.” It took all her willpower to not roll her eyes.
“Because it’s midterms? I’m not going to go out when these tests are important.”
“I know, but you even missed your date with Jacob this week!” She huffed.
“It’s not a date, Dad,” she said, exasperated that this was probably the millionth time she’s said the words but they never seemed to stick. “Plus, Jacob’s doing his midterms as well! You know Billy’s not going to let him go on that guy’s trip if he doesn’t get a B on his Math test, and he really wants to go.”
“I just don’t understand why you can’t go over and help-”
“And,” she cut him off, “I went out two weekends ago with the girls to get Prom dresses, per your request.”
“...I just want to make sure you’re feeling alright.” Bella huffed in defeat, swinging her legs over the edge of her bed. It was just supposed to be a peaceful afternoon nap before she got back to studying, a break for her eyes and hands from staring at the index cards thrown across her desk, but apparently, that was too much to ask.
“I’m fine, Dad, really. I just need to study.” Bella stood beside her desk, the picture-perfect student in every way. He still looked skeptical. She sighed. “Jessica is hosting a party this weekend. A get-together, to celebrate the end of exams.” She watched ruefully as he perked up immediately. “Can I go?”
Charlie played up the protective guardian, stroking his mustache in thought, before saying, “Will there be alcohol?” Bella just huffed again, rolling her eyes. “Okay, okay. As long as you promise to be responsible, and call me if anything looks suspicious, you can go.”
And that’s how she found herself sitting on the steps outside of Jessica’s family lakehouse. The perfect environment for debauchery, it was far enough away from Fork to feel like you were in the middle of nowhere without sacrificing any cell service. She could hear people cheering down by the water, jumping in although winter was just letting up across the PNW, and the music playing behind her made her blood thump heavily under her skin. For a long time, she found comfort in the sound of her own heart, the steady thumping she could hear if she paid attention, but now it just made her feel conflicted. The thing that Ed-...he loved about her, dare she say, most, a reminder of him that she couldn’t ever be parted from. It made her heart clench painfully. She took another sip of the drink in her cup, long warmed past the chill it once had.
Introverted to her core, Bella actually found herself thankful for the change in scenery. Although she had come to like Forks, there were a few downsides. Not only did everyone know everyone, which meant that her original plan to hide out in the library when the party was happening was quickly dashed when she remembered the weekend librarian was a frequent customer at Charlie’s favorite diner, but it also meant that midterms were not as much of a distraction as she hoped. Yes, her teachers were good, but the advanced placement curriculum at her old school made this school much easier. Jacob was gone this weekend too, receiving a B- on his Math test that made Billy roll his eyes, so he wasn’t there to shelter her from Charlie’s downcast eyes, and all of her school friends were going to attend this party, even Angela, who convinced her parents this was an important part of her adolescent upbringing. She thought Angela was her best bet to curb boredom and wandering hands, but as soon as she saw her boyfriend, it was game over.
The evening air was crisp out here, a dewy smell that reminded her of all those summers she was able to take a break from Arizona’s dry heat. The view from the cabin was amazing. The calm lake and the tree-filled skyline listed a little weight from her chest, just for a moment, the closest thing she’s gotten to be around her old vampire boyfriend as she could get. There was that stint in her life where she thought changing everything about herself was a great place to start to get over her first love, but past the shoulder-length haircut and dirt bikes, there wasn’t anything actually fun to her in the more dangerous activities she tried about. A shudder ran through her at the reminder of her attempt at cliff driving. She took one look over the edge before demanding Jacob escort her back to their car. He just laughed at her, waving her over to instead sit on the rocks and look out at the horizon. It was there that she learned gazing out at a body of water, whether ocean or lake, made her feel a peace she had been desperately looking for. Something about the majesty of the water, she reasoned, made her problems seem so insignificant…
“I’m not gonna throw up, you stupid head!” Bella nearly jumped out of her skin as the back door flew open, releasing the stench of sweaty teens and blasting pop music she escaped outside to avoid, There was a rumble of voices in the wake of the person stumbling out before the heavy door swung shut with a bang. Bella jumped up, holding her arms out faster than she could think, though she had no clue why she thought she would be able to catch the obviously drunk teen when she could barely stand on her own two feet most days. The person barely noticed Bella, stumbling past them to throw themselves against the deck’s railing. Bella worried they were gonna hurl, or worse, throw themselves over, but they did neither. Instead, they gasped heavily, like they hadn’t had a good breath of air in who knows how long, before leaning back and basically stumbling onto Bella’s feet. With a bounce, they ended up right next to her, their head snapping up to gape at Bella’s equally wide eyes.
“Holy shit! How long have you been there?!” Bella opened her mouth, but no words escaped. Instead, she stared at this stranger and mimicked a fish. “Oh my god, did I just sit on you? I’m so sorry!”
“No, you’re okay.” Bella hesitated. “Are you…okay? Not gonna hurl or anything, are you?” That earned a laugh, way too loud to be from anyone but a drunk person.
“Yeah! I just needed some fresh air.” Bella smiled at that.
“That’s why I’m out here too. It’s way too loud in there.” That one earned her a blinding smile. Bella let out a small puff of air, only a little uncomfortable around this random stranger, and unsure about what to do next. Does she sit down? No, that would be stupid.
“Why don’t you sit too? We can keep each other company, and become best friends!”
“Best friends?” Bella jumped as her hand was grabbed, and could do nothing against the sudden strong force pulling her down. Her drink went flying as her butt hit the step harshly.
“Yeah! I’m in the market for a new one.” If they noticed her pained expression, they didn’t say anything. Bella rubbed her back as they continued, “I was supposed to hang out here and celebrate with her, but turns out she’s a two-faced skank and hooked up with the guy I liked.” Bella just stared, open-mouthed. “Oh, don’t worry! It stopped hurting about…” The finger counting was near hilarious, but Bella was too worried about them to laugh. “I don’t remember! A while ago.” Then they huffed, nearly doing a 180 in emotion. “Besides, it’s not like I was in love or anything. I mean, I hardly knew the guy. But there was something about him…”
“I know what you mean.” The words were out before Bella could even think about the consequences.
“You do?” Bella hesitated, before nodding. “Were you in love?”
“Um…”
“Oh no!” Bella jumped back, nearly catching an elbow to the face as the stranger threw their hands in front of their face, “I made you uncomfortable! Oh, I’m so sorry! Me and my big fat mouth…”
“No! No, it’s okay!” Bella reached forward, pulling their hands away from their face, trying to earnestly look into their eyes. “I’m sorry. It’s just…a little fresh.”
“...you’re sure?” Bella nodded once. “Oh! You’re too nice!” Then, arms were thrown around her, pulling her face far too close to a stranger’s. “Woah! And pretty!” The stranger huffed. Bella shivered as their breath puffed against her face. “I bet you get loads of dates.”
“I wouldn’t say that-”
“And you probably know everything about being in love! Tell me about it, please!” Bella blinked. Drunk memory, she figured, or they just had a really bad one. “Please, please! I need to know. What if he was the one, and I never knew because I didn’t know what it felt like!”
“I don’t…” Bella could feel the rejection on the tip of her tongue. Denial would be easy, it’s not like she knew who this person was anyway. Plus, it would probably be easy to lose them in the crowd inside, and a phone had to be somewhere around here to call Charlie to come pick her up, despite the plan to spend the night here to help Jessica clean in the morning. But…there was something sparkling in their eyes that made Bella hesitate. This was a complete stranger, a person that, if they even knew who she was before this night, probably knew nothing of her previous relationship. Especially if they were this drunk. They were looking at Bella with the biggest, most innocent eyes, gleaming with so much unbridled trust and innocence that Bella felt her soft heart waver. “...know how to describe it.”
“Is it like how everyone says it is?” Bella laughed a little at that, gently pushing them away to settle their face back into their own personal bubble. In retaliation, they swung their knees so they knocked against Bellas, making their shoe tips touch for good measure.
“It can be. It was for me.” Their look of awe made Bella giggle lightly.
“Really?”
“In a way.” Bella paused, watching their eyebrows knit together in confusion. “Was that the answer you’re looking for?”
“I don’t know…maybe?”
“Then…tell me what you’ve heard, and I can elaborate for you?” Bella watched as they mouthed the word ‘elaborate’ before the meaning clicked and they nodded their head enthusiastically.
“Just not too many words, okay? You’re a little…fuzzy?” Bella laughed lightly, nodding. The stranger smiled. “Yeah, that’s perfect! Okay, so, enchanting in every way.” Bella nodded, and their smile bloomed brighter. “It's everlasting every day.” Bella hesitated, before giving a so-so wave with her hand. They frowned in response. “Stomach sick with butterflies?” At Bella’s enthusiastic nod, they smiled again. “Sweet obsession, rose bouquets-”
“Trust me,” Bella said, cutting them off. She felt a little bad, but this was too complicated for a yes or no answer. “From personal experience, obsession is not what you want. Not when it’ll eat you whole.” That caused another bout of eyebrow-wiggling confusion.
After a moment, they said, “Maybe they were just obsessed with being in love? Obsessed with obsession is how things end up…no good.” Bella felt her eyes widen in shock. For a drunk person, someone who could barely remember a conversation from a moment ago and for completely disregarding personal space, that was shockingly coherent.
In their short months together, Bella couldn’t count the number of times Edw- he talked about falling in love. Their late nights together were spent half in silence, just gazing into each other's eyes, and the other half was spent talking about anything they felt the need to say. For Bella, it was what she was thinking, how she was raised, things she liked. For him, it was how long he had waited for her, for someone who sung for him and made him feel loved as he had seen Esme and Carlisle interact throughout their many years. She remembered the way his eyes shined as he talked about them, about the love they had for one another, the way they fit together better than anyone he had seen in his 100 years.
“I have that now, with you.” He whispered before kissing her, putting any conviction he had in the statement with the first press against her lips. And she had believed him, wholeheartedly. Looking back on it now, she can see why Charlie and her friends were worried for her. Months of on and off, of not knowing if Bella was gaining his attention in a good or bad way, the way he proclaimed his love to her within a month or two of knowing her. But…she could still feel his insistence, his devotion, and the love that sparkled in his eyes when they were together. There was no way that wasn’t real…was it?
“Maybe you’re right…” Bella whispered, neither convinced nor closed off to the possibility. These last few months have given her a lot of time to think things through. Writing to Alice had helped a little in the beginning, but having Jacob there to talk to, to finally have someone to open up to, especially after learning his own secret, their friendship had never been closer. He was always there for her, especially on the bad days, and cheered her on when she was able to get back on her own feet. After finally asking out the girl of his dreams, he didn’t abandon her, instead introducing them so Bella was always welcome without a hint or suspicion of something else, something unsaid, being there. Bella felt a swell of adoration when she thought of Jacob, but it wasn’t the same. It wasn’t the way she felt with him. But was that such a bad thing?
“You’re frowning.” Bella started, flinching as a hand gently pressed on the space between her eyebrows. She hadn’t even realized they had pushed together.
“You’ve given me something to think about.” That caused a smile.
“Really?” Bella nodded. “Good! I’m not just a pretty face, you know.”
“I don’t doubt that,” Bella laughed. Their smile brightened even more. In one swift motion, with far too much coordination for someone so drunk, they threw their arms around her, pulling her close and smacking a wet kiss against her cheek. Bella’s face flared bright red.
“And you’re not just a pretty face too! You’re a gorgeous face with a kind heart!” They slumped against her, resting their head against Bella’s shoulder, snuggling as close as they could in their awkward position. “Thank you for explaining things to me. I think it made me fall in love with you.”
“Wha-” Bella stuttered. They laughed loudly, pressing their lips against her cheek again with more teeth than necessary.
“And you’re funny! You have to give me your number now. I’m not gonna let that stank bag get to you before me this time.”
Joke or not, Bella couldn’t help her burning ears or the way her heart beat out of them. She also couldn’t help the way her heart skipped a beat. The first time in a long time.

All the wrong things
Edward Cullen x reader
Y/n L/n just moved to forks with her uncle looking for a new start after running from her past.
Tumblr media
Y/n had just arrived in forks Washington after a long drive. She had hoped that this would be her final destination for a long time. She had spent her whole life running, she was able to find out about her last living relative, Charlie swan. Once she reached out to him he immediately agreed saying he'd appreciate some company in the house as his daughter had chosen to live with her mom permanently. She pulled into the driveway of Charlie's house seeing him standing outside waiting for her arrival. She got out of her car and walked over to charlie awkwardly. " hey kid, it's been a while" he said bringing her into a warm hug and making y/n sigh in comfort. it had been forever since she had a hug, let alone from a family member. "yeah I don't even remember it here, it's been about what like fifteen years?" she asked with a slight chuckle pulling from the hug. "somewhat" Charlie replied. they both stood in what felt like a comforting silence as they both aren't very talkative people. charlie then moved toward her car " Need help with your bags?" he asked, Y/nshook her head "oh no, I didn't bring much" she lied. truth is she didn't have much to bring, all of her old belongings were locked away in a home, in the town she was sure she'd never be welcome back in.
At that y/n grabbed her things from her car and followed charlie through the house. the house wasn't extravagant like her old one but it was a home and that was all she could ask for. as if he was reading her mind charlie said "it's not much compared to your old home I'm sure" he said having a slight blush on his cheeks which y/n could tell was from embarrassment. "its lovely charlie" she said. charlie smiled a bit and lead her to the bedroom he had set up for her. "id remember you mentioning you liked painting so I got some supplies." he said pointing to a small art station in the corner. Y/n smiled and thanked charlie while looking around the room. charlie left, he wasn't one to hover which Y/n was thankful for. She was able to get settled in fairly quickly so she let herself wander around the house and get comfortable with the layout. She was in the kitchen when she heard a honk come from outside, she went to a window and saw two men both tan with long black hair but one older in a wheelchair, and the other much younger, maybe around her age.
Y/n went outside to greet the guests when Charlie introduced her " Uh y/n this is Jacob and Billy Black" he said gesturing to the two, "Jacob, Billy meet y/n, my niece" he said and y/n waved at the two. The older man billy spoke up "it's about time your here, he hasn't shut up about you since he found out you were comin' " he said teasingly, the two older men started tussling with each other Making y/n turn to Jacob "are they always like this?" She asked chuckling. He smiled "it gets worse with old age" he replied. "I'm Jacob by the way, which you already know. We were like best friends for the week you were here years ago" he said laughing. She smiled "you must have an excellent memory," she said shaking her head and looking down at her feet. "No I just have a lot of pictures and stories," he said. "Just from one week?" She asked now looking him in the face with her eyebrows raised. He chucked "you wouldn't believe it, I'll have to tell you some someday," he said "yeah for sure" she replies smiling. Charlie and billy came back towards the two teens "so y/n, how do you like it?" Charlie asked.
Her face morphed into confusion "like what?". Charlie patted the back of the truck "the truck, bought it iff billy for you, you said yours wasn't holding up too great.". Y/n's jaw dropped "no way! You did not! This is awesome!" She exclaimed happily. Jacob nodded "I rebuilt the engine for you, it's as good as new" he said proudly. "This is amazing thank you!" She exclaimed opening the door to the car hitting Jacob on accident to which she apologized and he just shrugged it off. She hopped in the driver's seat and Jacob joins her in the passenger. "Okay, so you gotta double pump the clutch when you shift" he said handing her the keys. She turned to Jacob with hope "maybe I can give you a ride to school?" She asked with hope. Jacob's face fell slightly "no I go to school on the res" he said. Y/ns shoulders slumped "that sucks, I would have liked to know at least in person at school". Jacob and billy stayed for a while Jacob chatting with y/n and billy with Charlie. When they left y/n decided shed cook dinner as a thank you bit letting her stay. After dinner, she went to bed so she could get a good night's sleep before school in the morning.
This first chapter is short I know the next one will be longer I promise I’m just trying to let the story began before trying to make any extreme changes to the plot.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
The quiet town of Forks seemed to hold its breath as the rain fell in a gentle, rhythmic cadence. The gloomy skies matched the atmosphere within Bella Swan's heart. Her world had been turned upside down, and the pain of loss clung to her like a suffocating fog.
Edward Cullen, the love of her life, had left. The haunting memory of his departure lingered in every corner of her mind, a wound that refused to heal. The void he had left was like a black hole, pulling her deeper into a realm of shadows.
Days turned into weeks, and Bella's once vibrant spirit seemed to wither away. Her room became a sanctuary of solitude, where darkness and silence embraced her like old friends. The laughter and warmth that had once filled her life felt like distant echoes, mocking her from a place she could no longer reach.
The depressive state she fell into was like a relentless storm, battering her emotions until she was left gasping for air. Time lost its meaning as she drifted through her days, each one a monotonous haze of numbness. The simplest tasks felt like insurmountable mountains, and even the sunlight that filtered through the curtains held no appeal.
Charlie, her father, was at a loss. The lines of worry etched onto his face spoke volumes about his concern for his daughter. He watched helplessly as Bella retreated further into herself, struggling to find a way to breach the walls she had built around her heart.
In the quiet moments of the night, Bella would lie in bed, staring at the ceiling as her thoughts spiraled into darkness. Memories of Edward's departure replayed like a broken record, each word and gesture etched into her consciousness. She would reach for the phone, her fingers hovering over his number, only to pull back, the weight of reality crushing her hopes.
Friends tried to reach out, but Bella's isolation was a fortress she couldn't escape. The world outside felt distant and uninviting, a place where she no longer belonged. The shadows that had enveloped her were unyielding, leaving her trapped in a cycle of despair.
As the days turned into months, Bella's depressive state showed no signs of lifting. The pain of loss had become a part of her, an uninvited guest that had made itself at home within her heart. The people around her whispered their concerns, wishing for the vibrant, determined Bella they had known to resurface from the depths of her sorrow.
Little did they know that within the labyrinth of her emotions, Bella was grappling with a battle she felt ill-equipped to fight. The love she had once known had become a source of pain, a reminder of the happiness that had slipped through her fingers. And as the rain continued to fall, a relentless backdrop to her anguish, Bella Swan remained trapped in a world of shadows, struggling to find a way back to the light.
The rain had become a constant companion to Bella Swan, its melancholic rhythm echoing the ache within her heart. The world outside had lost its vibrancy, and the walls of her room felt like a cocoon of isolation. But fate had other plans, ones that would shatter the fragile equilibrium she had found within her depression.
One evening, as the rain fell in a soft cascade, a knock on the door interrupted the silence that had come to define Bella's life. Her father's voice carried a hint of surprise as he called out, "Bella, there are visitors for you."
The curiosity that had long lain dormant within Bella stirred as she shuffled toward the front door. Her heart skipped a beat as she came face-to-face with a group of figures who seemed both ethereal and imposing. The Volturi – Aro, Caius, and Marcus – stood before her, their crimson eyes locking onto hers with a mixture of curiosity and scrutiny.
"Bella Swan," Aro's voice was smooth, his smile unsettlingly charming. "We've heard you possess certain knowledge that is of great interest to us."
Bella's mind raced as she processed their words. The secret she had guarded so fiercely – the knowledge that the Cullens were vampires – was suddenly laid bare before the very beings she had only heard whispers about.
"I..." Bella stammered, her gaze shifting between the Volturi kings. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Caius's expression was stern, his eyes penetrating. "We have ways of knowing the truth, Bella. It's in your best interest to cooperate."
Marcus's gaze held a hint of sympathy, as if he understood the weight of Bella's predicament. "We cannot allow humans to be privy to our existence. It disrupts the delicate balance we maintain."
Fear tightened its grip around Bella's heart as the reality of her situation sunk in. Her connection to the Cullens, her knowledge of their secret, had led her down a path she could never have foreseen.
Aro's smile widened, his interest piqued. "You see, Bella, we have options. We could erase your memories, but that would leave you in a state of confusion. Or, you could become one of us – a vampire."
The words hung in the air like a weighty promise, a choice that Bella had never thought she would face. The idea of becoming a vampire was both terrifying and intriguing, a way to escape the mundanity of her human life, but also a leap into a world of darkness and uncertainty.
Bella's mind raced as she tried to make sense of the choices before her. Her gaze shifted from Aro to Caius to Marcus, each one bearing a unique aura of power and mystery.
"I need time to think," she finally whispered, her voice shaky but determined.
Aro's smile was enigmatic, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Of course, my dear. Take all the time you need."
As the Volturi kings turned to leave, Bella was left with a choice that would redefine her existence. The secret she had kept was no longer her burden alone, and the path she would choose would shape her destiny in ways she could never have imagined.
Once outside Bella's home, the Volturi trio found themselves enveloped by the misty rain, each step accompanied by a sense of intrigue. Aro's fingers danced along his chin, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. Caius maintained his stoic facade, his thoughts unreadable, while Marcus's gaze held a knowing glint.
As they walked through the damp streets of Forks, the events of the evening hung in the air like a delicate thread waiting to be woven into destiny. It was Marcus who eventually broke the silence, his voice carrying a quiet contemplation.
"Aro, Caius, have you considered the possibility?" he began, his tone soft but deliberate.
Aro turned his attention to Marcus, his expression one of curiosity. "The possibility of her becoming one of us?"
Caius's gaze sharpened, his interest piqued. "Or are you referring to something else?"
Marcus's lips quirked into a knowing smile, his eyes glinting with a mixture of amusement and wisdom. "Bella Swan is not just any human. She is our mate."
Aro's eyes widened in realization, his lips parting as he considered Marcus's words. "Ah, the threads of fate have woven an intricate tapestry indeed."
Caius's brows furrowed, a hint of skepticism in his voice. "Are you suggesting that her connection to us goes beyond the mere fact that she knows our secret?"
Marcus nodded, his gaze steady. "Our bond is more profound, more fundamental. She is meant to be with us, and we with her."
Aro's excitement was palpable, his smile growing with each passing second. "Her choice, whether to become one of us or to join us in another way, could reshape our existence."
Caius's stern expression softened as he considered the gravity of the situation. "And what if she chooses to become a vampire? Our world could be forever altered."
Marcus's voice was steady, his eyes carrying the weight of his insight. "Our world is ever-changing, my brothers. Bella Swan's presence has stirred a shift within us, one that we cannot ignore."
As they continued their walk through the rain-soaked streets, the magnitude of their discovery settled upon the Volturi kings. Bella Swan, a human who had stumbled upon their world, held the potential to reshape their destiny. The choice she made – to embrace the immortal life or to forge a connection with them in a different way – would echo through the corridors of time.
The threads of fate had indeed woven a complex tapestry, one that bound their destinies together in ways they could not yet comprehend. And as the rain continued to fall, Aro, Caius, and Marcus found themselves on the cusp of a transformation, guided by the choices that lay ahead and the profound connection they shared with a mortal who had unknowingly stepped into their world.
The days that followed the Volturi's initial visit were filled with anticipation and uncertainty for Bella Swan. She had been presented with a choice that would forever alter her existence – to become a vampire and join the Volturi or to remain human and leave behind the life she had known. The weight of her decision pressed upon her heart, but there was a certain sense of inevitability that guided her thoughts.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across Bella's room, she knew that the time had come. The decision had been made, and she was ready to embrace the unknown.
The sound of footsteps echoed through the silence, and Bella turned to find the Volturi kings standing at her doorway once more. Aro's smile was warm, Caius's expression held a mixture of solemnity and approval, and Marcus's gaze was steady, carrying the weight of the journey that lay ahead.
"Bella Swan," Aro began, his voice gentle yet resolute. "Are you prepared to embark on a new chapter of your life?"
Bella's breath quivered as she nodded, her heart pounding within her chest. "Yes, I've made my decision."
Caius's voice carried a hint of gravitas, his words laden with the importance of the moment. "Then, my dear, welcome to a world beyond human understanding."
Marcus stepped forward, his presence a calming force as he regarded Bella with a kind smile. "You are not alone in this journey. We shall stand beside you."
The night air was cool and still as Bella stepped out of her home, the moon casting a silvery glow upon the scene. It was a moment of finality, of leaving behind the life she had known and embracing the promise of the future. With the Volturi kings by her side, she felt a mixture of excitement and trepidation, a sense that she was stepping into a world that held infinite possibilities.
Aro's hand extended towards Bella, an invitation and a promise all at once. "Come, my dear. Your transformation awaits, and a new dawn is about to break."
Bella's heart raced as she reached out and placed her hand in Aro's, her gaze never wavering. The connection between them felt profound, as if the bond they shared transcended the limitations of time and space.
As the Volturi kings surrounded her, Bella felt a sense of unity, a shared purpose that bound them together. With a single nod from Aro, they turned and began to walk, each step taking them further away from the life Bella had known.
The journey that lay ahead was shrouded in mystery, a path filled with challenges and discoveries. But as Bella Swan left behind the town of Forks and the memories of her human life, she did so with a heart full of hope, knowing that she was no longer alone – she was now part of a world that defied conventions, a world that held the potential for a future beyond her wildest dreams.
