Translation: Dog
Mbabaram is an extinct language, once spoken in the Queensland state of Australia. The last speaker lived until the 1980s. It was with all likelihood a Pama-Nyungan language, the dominating language family among aboriginal languages. Mbabaram was distinct from its neighbouring languages, which were partly intelligible with each other, but Mbabaram was unintelligible to them. Speakers of Mbabaram often learned the other languages but not the other way around since it was considered more difficult, which probably sped up its extinction. When a linguist tracked down the last speakers it hadn’t been actively spoken in 10-15 years.
Motivation: People like to claim that the Mbabaram word for "dog" is "dog." This is technically not true, it is "dúg." Which is pronounced almost identically to the Australian English pronunciation of "dog." This is still a fun coincidence.
Note: I had to go dig up a paper from the sixties to confirm this one (and learn more about the language because I had a hard time finding information), but I found a lexicon and info about the field study! No IPA though.
Chancla (Spanish)
[ˈt͡ʃãŋ.kla]
Translation: Flip-flop or sandal (sometimes slipper)
Spanish is an Indo-European language belonging to the Romance branch. It’s spoken by 559 million people worldwide, 46,6 million of those in Spain and 74 million as a second language. It’s counted as the second largest language (based on number of native speakers) after Mandarin.
Motivation: It's one of the few Spanish words that's used in most Latin American countries that translates into the same thing. Also it's fun to say, very good for echolalia

You know I watched the One Piece Live Action series twice now. First by myself and then with my younger brother.
And spoilers for the first episode
But when Luffy was asking Koby about his dream and Koby was all like 'no my dream is dumb' and luffy just walks up to him and slaps him 😆
Koby was all 'what was that for'
And Luffy was like 'you being dumb'
And then he points his finger at him and tells him to 'spit it out' 😆
I saw that and I half expected him to just slip off his chancla and threaten him with it 🤣
And when I watched that scene again with my younger brother he also expected the chancla to come off 🤣
We just love that Inaki still has his accent and sometimes I just half expect him to just start speaking in spanglish
