Scar didn’t always have cat ears, a tail, whiskers, or big, green, slitted eyes. It all happened after Demise in season 6 of Hermitcraft. When Scar resurrected himself, he brought in a few items that represented him: a diamond for his wealth, a leaf block to represent his custom trees, dirt for his landscaping services, and a block of solid vex magic for… obvious reasons. 

But what did Scar do before he turned the machine on? He brought in a Jellie cat! So the machine took all those items and the cat, and jumbled them all together to recreate Scar’s body for him, cat paws and all.

Adding to cat Scar doing the arching thing, but he's doing it to distract someone so Grian can pull a prank Also my cat has a weird quirk when happy, his tail fluffs up. We don't get why but its hilarious (he wags it too in a cat way) and I can imagine Scar doing the exact thing You can tell when its fear fluff or happy fluff. So the hermits, esp his partners would be able to tell. And prob tease him about it, but it makes them so prideful cause they did that -Fern anon (If you remind me I'll send pictures of said cat to you on discord)

I love your cat for that. And I love for Scar to do it too.. Scar trying not to act excited/happy but his tail is just POOOF

Summary:

Look, Scar doesn’t know what’s going on. He woke up one one day and was able to talk to the humans.

Its not like he knew what his was getting into, so when his human starts ignoring him. He doesn’t understand why, and It hurts.

there's something kinda funny to me about certain ways scar tends to be drawn because it's like. okay imagine hypothetically you took a distillation of fanon scar designs and showed it to someone who's never even heard of a minecraft, and asked them what they think this guy might be like. we're ignoring context here, pretend we're showing them a ref sheet. and it's like, alright, here's a rugged looking buff guy. nice abs. lots of scars. he's got a smug grin on his face. very shirtless. he looks like the love interest in a bodice ripper. i bet he's got some dark angsty secret he keeps buried underneath that suave facade. but not buried too deeply, just enough to intrigue.

and then you go watch third life and he is like a cat whose owner keeps desperately trying to make him stop eating plastic.

Farewell little friend. (tw: pet death)

This is a tough one, y'all. We are deeply saddened at the news that Jellie, the most beloved and beautiful cat of @GoodTimesWithScar, has passed away, aged 17-and-a-half years. But we are also gladdened to see the community band together in support of Scar—and pay poignant tribute to this sweetest little pal. 

Hugs to Scar, and to all y'all, too.

Ok so @redstonedust made THIS POST about it seeming like many people had a bedroom in scarland EXCEPT scar, which made me draw this lil thing of him just sleeping on a random scarland bench:

But it was lowkey so sad so aqua was like what if impulse found him while on a nightly round to check the evening announcement and saw scar and REFUSED to let him sleep on a bench anymore!!! And luckily enough, he’s got a brand new office right nearby with a big ol bed for all of them!! And who would Scar be to pass up Impulse cuddling to boot??
