As a fellow aroace mumbo enjoyer I think you'd enjoy my insane rambles-
So I think Scar and Mumbo are both aroace. They're both a bit different tho- Mumbo never really thought about romance too much. He's never really found someone attractive and he's never had a crush.
He finds some people aesthetically pleasing and I think that he thinks that's what romantic and/or sexual attraction is supposed to be like. He's never thought about it too much, he just though "huh that person looks nice.", classified it as attraction in his mind and moved on.
He doesn't think about romance and he just simply doesn't care.
Scar on the other hand had quite a bit of difficulty figuring stuff out. He finds people attractive, he likes the idea of having a partner and he likes the idea of dating, but any time he thinks he likes someone romantically and tries to imagine dating them he gets uncomfortable. It just doesn't feel right.
I think Scar would randomly stumble across the the term aroace and it sends him into a bit of a rabbit hole. He finds the terms he thinks fit him and it puts him on ease knowing there's other people like him out there and that he's not just broken or something.
Now he knows that there's other people like him out there, he just never thought It'd be someone on the server!
I think Scar would randomly mention something about being aroace or complain about something allo people do and Mumbo would kinda stop in his tracks and ask scar to elaborate or explain.
I think that's how Mumbo figures out that no, not everyone feels like him.
Idk I just think it'd be nice if they then bonded over that and if Mumbo found out a bit about himself through Scar

Thinking about how maybe Mumbo started to figure himself out during s8 specifically, because him and Scar were so close living wise and got closer as friends as well
Imagine Boatem having their usual sleepover, all the others are dead asleep while the two are awake, catching up and talking. Suddenly Scar mentions about being aroace, and Mumbo perks up at the word, questioning what it is and to elaborate further (he always wants to be supportive of course)!
The more Scar talks about it and how he feels, the more Mumbo just starts getting the realisation like "Oh shit." and suddenly blurts out that he might be the same
Cue them bonding about it more the entire night, and them becoming even closer

None of the hermits have actual human blood running through their veins. Instead, they have other, more... questionable liquids pumped through their system- Pearl has moonshine, Tango has Red Gatorade, Zed has nuclear reactor pool water etc.
Impulse has coffee, Etho has maple syrup, Joe has neon green ink...

I feel like nobody is talking about Third Life Scar anymore. The guy had more charisma than he knew what to do with and he literally controlled the server with it. He got dozens of diamonds worth of free items by creating an arbitrary system of points. He distracted people on numerous occasions while they were aware that a trap was being laid. He convinced Grian to basically break his own series' rules to help him constantly!

I think he just has one, singular suit, one vest, one shirt, one tie, one pair of trousers, one pair of shoes.
When he's washing it all he stands around in his base in nothing but white, heart patterned shorts.

Vex have a lot of bat-like qualities, as the hermits have come to learn. Some examples include:
-cub frequently sleeps upside down
-scar gets zoomies (reaching speeds of 100 mph while flying)
-like many other communal player-hybrids, they can get VERY clingy with those they perceive as part of their colony
-they’re bitey :3

I'm still thinking about that revenant scar au- like imagine losing your two closest and only friends in an accident while you survive it but then you hear their voice and you can use their skills to your own advantage and you can feel their spirits- and it gives you hope that they're still alive and they're actually talking to you, it's them, it's definitely them-
But its not. It's not them but you just can't accept it. You keep denying it you keep convincing yourself that it's still them. They're still them. Why else would they be talking to you! You can hear them! They're still alive!
Like smt makes me so insane about the idea of Scar just acting like nothing happened. Grian and Mumbo are just in his head now! But it's still them definitely! Scar is still joking around with then even if they rarely answer, he talks to them like they can hear him and like they're actually listening.
It's until he befriends Cub and Cub asks him about why he talks to himself when Scar finally admits they're dead. And it hits him like a truck. All that unresolved grief he has been pushing down finally came to the surface and Scar just can't deal with the fact that his best friends are dead. They have been dead for a while.
