At Connor’s offer, Poetry was quick to nod her head in agreement, glancing back and forth between the two friends and laughing a little bit more than necessary at the weirdness of the situation, “Yeah yeah, for sure.” she told him, “What were you thinking?”
He gave her a quick look before starting to clap as their friend finished their performance, watching as the girl stood up and ran towards the small stage. “We could grab some wine from my place, I get the car and my guitar... go drink by the lake?” Connor tried to act nonchalant as he returned his attention to Poe, a smile hinting at his lips regardless.
