Angelic Apologies
i finally wrote for Cas!!!! i love this man so much 🤣😭
Tumblr media
Castiel Novak x Reader
No pronouns used
Summary: When a routine day in the bunker takes an unexpected turn, the reader accidentally punches Castiel in the face. Filled with guilt, apologies pour forth, only to be silenced by a surprising and passionate kiss from the celestial being. As the reader hesitates and pulls away, Castiel delivers a romantic yet slightly creepy declaration, showcasing his unique understanding of human interactions.
Angelic Apologies
In the dimly lit library of the bunker, you sat engrossed in a dusty tome, the weight of ancient knowledge pressing against your temples. The room was filled with a hushed quiet, the only sound being the faint rustle of pages and the occasional creak of the old floorboards. Little did you know, an unexpected visitor was about to disrupt your solitude.
Out of nowhere, a fluttering of wings announced Castiel's arrival. The air displaced, and with a soft whoosh, he stood behind you, his trench coat brushing against the floor. Unbeknownst to you, his piercing blue eyes studied the words on the pages before him. In the eerie silence, you sensed a presence and, acting purely on instinct, you whirled around and threw a punch.
Cas barely had time to register the surprise on his face before your fist connected with his nose. His head snapped back, and a low groan escaped his lips. "What the hell?" you exclaimed, only to realize that the celestial being you had just cold-cocked was none other than Castiel.
Panicking, you reached out to him, stammering an apology. "Cas, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to punch you. I thought you were… someone else?"
Cas straightened, holding his nose gingerly. "It's fine, [Y/N]. I understand that you were taken aback."
Your remorseful babbling continued, the words tumbling out like a waterfall of apologies. Cas, growing increasingly impatient, raised a hand to silence you. "Enough, [Y/N]. It's fine, really."
But you couldn't stop. "No, Cas, seriously, I feel awful. I can't believe I—"
In an unexpected turn of events, Cas cut you off, closing the distance between you and capturing your lips with his own. The suddenness of it left you breathless, and you could feel the warmth of his kiss melting away your worries. The apology lodged on your tongue was forgotten as the kiss deepened, your hands instinctively finding their way to Cas's coat.
When the kiss finally broke, you were left gasping for air, your eyes meeting Cas's intense gaze. His voice, calm but laced with a hint of something unfamiliar, spoke words that sent shivers down your spine. "You don't need to apologize, [Y/N]. In fact, I find your instincts rather endearing."
You blinked, the romantic sentiment juxtaposed with Cas's typical lack of understanding of human nuances. "Cas, that's… kind of creepy."
A small, bemused smile tugged at the corners of Cas's lips. "Is it? I've been observing human behavior, and I thought it might be an appropriate response."
You chuckled, shaking your head. "Cas, you're a strange one."
His eyes softened as he cupped your cheek, his thumb brushing against your skin. "Perhaps, but I am learning. And I believe that in this moment, my actions speak louder than words."
You couldn't help but smile, realizing that even an angel could be surprisingly charming in his own peculiar way.

When you started hunting with Sam and Dean one of the last things you expected to encounter was an Angel, especially after discovering they aren't “harps and halos" like in the books you read as a kid, but instead soldiers and sometimes assholes.
Castiel was an exception to the “asshole” part, he was actually very sweet when it came to you and the boys. Helped you, saved you and cared for you. In that sense, Cas was just like the Angel stories, a guardian of the humans he was in charge of.
And for you, it was fun teaching Cas about humans and how they behaved, helped him when he didn't understand Dean's pop culture references, got him to watch classic movies and listen to music and he was always very keen into doing so, curious and intrigued in what you explained to him.
Those big blue eyes always gave you his full attention, sometimes with that little frown that you started to call “The Angel Frown” while he questioned you about something that, to you, was basic knowledge. You were always as patient as possible with him, always clarifying what you could in words he could understand and that ended up always making him come to you for help.
In conclusion, you and Cas got closer and you started to catch yourself staring when he wasn't looking, admiring his smiles, drowning into his sapphire eyes and wishing that he had just more doubts about how people acted so you could spend more time with him.
You knew, from what Castiel told you, that Angels and feelings, human feelings at least, weren't compatible and that things such as love and romance weren't truly a reality for him and his siblings, they were warriors after all, created to serve their Father and that was it.
Even when Castiel rebelled for the Winchesters, letting go of the “I don't serve men” mindset was difficult but you, Dean and Sam were there for him. You were more understandable then the brothers because you knew Cas was trying his best.
And because you fell for the Angel, but nobody needed to know that.
One night you arrived at the motel room you were staying at, after waving goodnight to Sam and Dean, them going to their separate room.
You opened the door and sighed deeply in exhaustion. It had been a long day of questioning and more questions appearing then those answered. At first you guys thought of a vengeful spirit, then cursed object, then witch. All of those possibilities were still up and it was driving you three insane. People were dying and you felt useless.
Once you closed the door and threw your stuff in the closest table you turned to your bed, where your bag was placed to get some clothes to take a well deserved shower. But, when you looked at your pillow, you noticed a single pink flower sitting over it and you furrowed your eyebrows.
You approached the flower slowly, skeptical about it, your hunter instincts telling you this wasn't good news. You slowly reached for it, as if it could bite your hand off, and picked it up. You analyzed the plant, very confused and grabbed your laptop.
You searched until you found a flower similar to the one you were holding and learned it was a Camellia. You looked between the screen and the flower and you searched up what a pink Camellia meant because, as much as you knew, flowers weren't really something you looked into.
What you found was shocking. According to the internet, a pink Camellia represents admiration and appreciation and Camellias and general represent love and affection. You widen your eyes at the flower in your hands, looking around your empty room as if someone would pop up and explain what this was doing at your bed. Wrong room?
You couldn't think of anybody that could give you this willingly. It definitely wasn't Sam or Dean because, first, they spent the whole day by your side and, second, unless they meant it platonically, the boys didn't see you like that. You loved them and they loved you, of course, but, to them, you were like a sister Dean loves you like he loves Sam, the same way Sam loves you like he loves Dean and vice-versa.
The only person that came to your mind was…No, it couldn't be, he said himself, love for him was basically unachievable but you couldn't help but wonder, even if your rational brain said it was stupid to think Cas would mean that. You smiled at the flower, that tinge of hope lightning inside you.
You looked around the room to look for something you could fill up with water and found an empty beer bottle. That'll do.
You washed the bottle to get the smell of alcohol off and filled it up with water, placing the little flower inside.
The pink color of the petals clashed with the transparent green of the bottle and you smiled at that. It looked cute in a way. You thought, even if this didn't come from someone you knew, you were keeping it, at least the flower.
You left the makeshift vase in your nightstand and took your stuff to the shower, peeling off your suit and your tie on the way, leaving it on the ground as you locked yourself inside the bathroom.
In these moments, Cas thanked his abilities of becoming unseen because you arrived just as he was leaving the Camellia over your pillow. He spent the day researching flowers, finding an interest in how humans always gave them to the people they cared about or to the ones who passed. He wanted to give you one to show you that he cared for you and also as a thank you for being patient with him for a long time.
He always felt happier around you, a warm feeling inside him always seemed to bloom. He felt the need to be close to you, like you were a human magnet. Everytime you looked at him he felt a weird feeling in his stomach, your smile was always something he felt the need to chase, he wanted to see it always in your face. He admired the way your eyes would shine when you were talking about something you liked.
When he saw you placing the flower on the nightstand with a smile he felt that weird feeling in his stomach again. He would do anything to see that look on your face again.
Tumblr media
That hunt lasted a week, taking you three too long to figure out it was a witch and even longer to find said witch and to say you guys were fed up was an understatement.
For that long week you dared to say you missed the Angel, you thought about calling him, praying to him, multiple times but what were you going to say when he arrived? Missed you? I just wanted to see you?
Everything you thought sounded too intimate so you discarded the idea of calling him.
But two more flowers appeared on your pillow after that pink Camellia. A Peony that you learned meant for the Chinese something along the lines of “the most beautiful” and a stunning Carnation in a light red shade that represented admiration. At this point you were very intrigued about who was the one giving you the flowers, Castiel still on your mind. You didn't want to get your hopes too high, you were probably overthinking it anyways, making your heart speak louder than your brain.
You were lying on your bed, staring at the tiny bouquet of three flowers given piece by piece to you. It was your last night in that room, Dean having insisted he needed the sleep so as to not crash the Impala from tiredness. You had offered to drive as you weren't as bad as he was but, of course, that was an immediate no from the older brother so all of you settled for one more night.
As you close your eyes and start to fall asleep, a sudden flutter of wings gets your attention. It's dark in the room so you take a peek and for sure it's Cas. You hold back a smile and close your eyes, pretending to be sleeping.
You feel the Angel approaching the bed, his presence making your heart quicken in your chest. From what it sounds like, he's just standing, watching you and you start to feel very nervous.
Castiel on the other hand arrived to see your sleeping form and couldn't help but watch. You looked peaceful, your breathing was calm and you looked…pretty. Cas thought all his father's creations were wonderful but he felt like you could top them all, literally, in your sleep.
He had another little flower in his hand which, to him, had a very self-explanatory name, a Forget-Me-Not.
He spun the blue flower on his fingers, debating if he should leave it inside the vase or besides you, over your pillow.
He approached you and while he was placing the flower next to your head he felt a gentle hand wrap around his wrist and instantly froze on the spot.
You opened your eyes and looked at his near-horrified face. You smiled at him.
“Got you” You said, a little above a whisper and looked at the flower he was holding. That one you knew the name and what it meant and you felt warmth spreading through your cheeks, not just at that one flower, but knowing now that all those flowers you received came from Cas.
“I'm sorry for disturbing you” He said as he retreated his hand and you held the Forget-Me-Not. He was tense, not looking at you.
“So you were the secret admirer leaving me these flowers?” You asked as you slowly sat up on the bed and placed the blue flower inside the bottle with the three others. You placed both your hands over your lap, fidgeting nervously with your fingers. “Why?”
He looked around. What was he supposed to say? Himself barely knew why he was doing this but it felt right so he kept going with it. He noticed that the flower meanings resembled things that he felt or thought of you and he enjoyed collecting them for you, especially after you kept them.
“These flowers all have a meaning behind them” He started “Take them as a thank you for…being helpful with my understanding of human behaviors”
You smiled stupidly at that. The way he said it sounded like something he had rehearsed before coming to you to say it, the words too polite. But yet, that's one of the things you liked about him.
“You didn't have to Cas…They are beautiful, thank you” You said and looked at the flowers again, biting your lip. You felt his eyes on you, it was always intimidating. You knew that it was just the way he was, look right into your eyes while you talk to show you had his full attention, his beautiful blue orbs hypnotizing.
Cas analyzed every aspect of yours as you sat in front of him, his eyes wondering over your figure and his hands moved faster than his thoughts and he reached for your shoulder, his palm traveling from your shoulder blade to the end of your upper arm and back up, tracing a pattern over your skin. He longed to touch you and be closer to you in a way he couldn’t explain so, in this moment, you both alone, he decided to fulfill this wish.
You widened your eyes and looked up at Castiel who was entranced by the movement of his hand, goosebumps flaring up on your skin.
“Cas?” You said and acknowledged your call with a hum “What are you…?”
He finally looked at you, his hand steadied on your shoulder.
“When I’m around you I always feel this need to touch you, be closer and this…” He shakes his head, finding a word to define how he felt. “Warmth comes over me everytime you smile”
His eyes bore through yours and you could only stare back at him, shocked.
“Cas, you’re saying–”
“I think I might love you, Y/N” He interrupted. The way he said it sounded like a confusion, a slight approach, as if he was tiptoeing around the thought, not sure if he wanted to grasp it or just keep his distance.
You were dumbfounded. He sounded so sincere and your heart started to beat faster, his hand over your shoulder felt like it was burning through your skin. It all made sense, the flowers, the way he was always keen on talking to you even when you did most of the talking and he just listened with a faint smile and pure interest, he just didn’t know because he never felt like this before, he didn’t know what loving was like.
You landed a hand over his cheek, your eyes practically watering with an emotional overload at his words. You thumb rubbed the light stubble on his cheek and you pulled him in for a hug. You wanted to kiss him so bad but you were on a baby steps basis with the Angel.
You hugged him tightly, his hands hesitantly wrapping around your frame as you let out a deep breath. When you pulled back, you didn’t pull away completely from him looking between his eyes and his mouth, a giddy smile on your face.
“I think I might love you too Castiel” You said and he widened his own eyes, a light chuckle coming out of you at his reaction.
Your chuckles were cut off by his lips on yours and you gasped in surprise. His mouth was as soft as you expected, his lips moving against your in perfect sync. He was impressively a good kisser, one of his hands gently holding at the back of your neck while the other slid down to your waist.
You felt like a bomb had exploded inside you, a foreign feeling of happiness spreading to every single cell on your body as your arms wrapped around his neck to hold yourself when he sat on the bed, pulling you over his lap, making you yelp.
You both pulled away, your arms still wrapped around each other and he had a light smile on his face. You one hundred per cent had a shocked look on yours, your cheeks hot and breathing heavy.
“Where’d you learn that?” You asked, absolutely knocked by the kiss.
“Dean told me a thing or two” He said and you couldn’t help but laugh, your body shaking against his as he also chuckled. “It seems like I did great?”
You stopped your laughs and looked in his eyes, drowning in their ocean blue. You gave a peck to the corner of his mouth.
“You did amazing” You said as one of your hands played with the hair at the nape of his neck and he pulled you in, the warmth spreading through both of you yet again, never wanting to let go.

“Try to get some rest,” Y/N smiled at her patient and exited the room, heading back to the main desk to see who was next on the list. In two sweet hours, she’d finish her shift and finally get some proper time off.
Jess’ premature departure meant she and all of the nurses on her staff had banded together to cover more shifts than usual as they waited for a temporary replacement to start. It had been exhausting, and Y/N was surprised at how quickly she’d fallen out of the habit of pulling a seventy hour week, but it was finally over. The new nurse had started yesterday, and normal shift service had resumed for her and her team.
There was another reason for her excitement: her date with Dean was in fourteen hours. Not that she was counting. Y/N had been disappointed they had to postpone their date last week, even more disappointed they couldn’t fit it in last week. However, these things happened, and Dean had been right; absence made the heart grow fonder. Not that she’d tell him that. He didn’t need the extra ego boost.
“Y/N”, Dr Ellen Harvelle said as she arrived at the check-in desk, ready to take another patient. “Got an emergency four minutes out. Someone from Firehouse 3 has been injured on a job. Normally I wouldn’t ask, but everyone else is tied up.”
“I’m on it, Dr H,” Y/N replied, trying to push down the dread rising from her stomach. Throwing herself into action, she gowned up and ran to the ambulance bay. Please don’t be Dean or Bobby. Please don’t be Dean or Bobby. Was all that was running through the nurse’s head as she swallowed the bile rising in her throat.
Sirens blaring and lights flashing, the ambulance screeched to a stop in front of them, immediately followed by the firetruck. Her heart pounded painfully in her chest, but the second Dean and Bobby jumped from the engine, Y/N exhaled deeply and relaxed.
“You good?” Ellen asked, and she nodded and jumped into action.
“What have we got?” Y/N asked, stepping up to the ambulance and waiting for the paramedic’s assessment.
“Castiel Novak, thirty-five, trapped by a falling beam from the ceiling of a burning building. He was found unconscious, breathing apparatus dislodged. Suspect the collapse of both lungs and damage to the airways from smoke inhalation. Compressions have been ongoing since he crashed about thirty seconds ago,” Jack spoke as he and Jo got the gurney out of the ambulance.
“Alright, Y/N, we’re gonna need to do a ride-along,” Ellen said.
“What can we do?” Bobby asked calmly, though his widened eyes showed his concern.
“We need to keep compressions going. Jack, do everything Y/N tells you. Guys,” she directed to the firefighters surrounding her, “on my say, help me move him to trauma bay three. Y/N? Whenever you’re ready.”
Y/N climbed on the gurney and straddled Castiel’s thighs. “Alright, Jack. On the count of three, pull away, and I’ll take over, okay?” she waited until Jack met her gaze and nodded his understanding before placing one hand on top of the other and clasping her fingers together.
“One, two, three!” Seamlessly, Jack pulled his hands away, and Y/N replaced them with her own, not missing a beat as she began pumping Castiel’s chest firmly.
“Let’s move!” Ellen ordered, and Dean and Benny stepped forward and pushed Castiel and Y/N into the hospital.
Tumblr media
Having suffered a collapse of both lungs, a concussion, and damage to his respiratory system from smoke inhalation, Castiel was in a serious but stable condition. He was responding well to treatment, but the next twenty-four hours would be critical, and Y/N knew there would be a vigil of firefighters in the waiting room until he was out of the woods.
With her shift just about over, Y/N checked on Cas one last time and updated his chart before handing his care over to Kevin. She wanted to stay on and work a double, but when she spoke to Rowena about it, the red-head told her that she’d reached her quota of hours for the week and reminded her she’d already pulled two doubles this week and to go home before she fell down and she was the one lying in a hospital bed.
Closing her locker, Y/N threw her purse over her shoulder and let her hair loose from the uncomfortably tight and itchy bun it had been constricted for the past fifteen hours.
Making her way to the waiting room to give the firehouse her final update, she smiled slightly, seeing all the firefighters were no longer in their turnout gear. Jackets and helmets were no longer strewn all over the tables, chairs and floor. Y/N remembered from Pamela and Taylor that half of them would’ve taken the truck back, changed their clothes, and brought food back for the others before they would go back and change out of their gear.
“Y/N, what’s the latest?” Uncle Bobby asked as he saw her standing in the doorway.
“He’s responding well to treatment. His oxygen levels are coming up. There’s still a long way to go, but he’s definitely going in the right direction,” she responded.
“Thank you for everything you’ve done for him,” Uncle Bobby smiled and walked towards her. “Is your shift over, Princess?”
“Yeah, I wanted to stay, but-”
“You reached your quota again, didn’t you?” Bobby chuckled.
“Maybe…” Y/N grinned. “But, there were extenuating circumstances this week which have been resolved.”
“So, you’re telling me it’s not gonna become the norm for you to go above and beyond?” he smirked, his eyes twinkling as he teased her.
“I hope not,” Y/N smiled softly, her eyes falling on Dean, and Bobby grinned, hoping, just like his niece, that things would work out between the couple.
“You should say goodbye to him before you go,” Bobby told her softly. Y/N nodded and stepped tentatively towards where Dean stood with Benny and Charlie.
“Hey, sweetheart,” Dean smiled as she stepped beside him. “Thanks for what you did for Cas.”
“It’s nothing, just doing my job,” she lowered her gaze shyly.
“Modest much?” Charlie chuckled. “What you did was heroic!”
“Oh no, that’s not… I don’t… You guys are the real heroes here,” Y/N shifted on her feet, uncomfortable with the attention.
“Uh, can I talk to you? Outside?” Dean said, gently pushing her towards the door and she nodded gratefully at his timely rescue.
“Thanks for getting me out of there, De,” she giggled as they stepped outside.
“Well, Charlie is right about the modest thing. You’ve never done well with attention or praise,” he chuckled softly. “So, I hate to do this, but about tonight-”
“Hey, it’s fine, Dean. You’re where you need to be, and Cas is more important than our date,” Y/N said.
Dean smiled, grateful that she got it. Though he wouldn’t say Cas was more important than her, he was a higher priority right now. “Thanks for understanding, Princess. I’ll make it up to you.”
“You better,” she grinned.
“Cross my heart,” Dean smirked. “Now, your shift is over, Nurse Singer, and I think you should go home and sleep. You look dead on your feet.”
“Yeah. I feel like I could sleep until I’m back on shift!” Y/N chuckled.
“Well, if you don’t pass out for four whole days,” Dean laughed. “Call me when you’ve had some rest. Maybe we could rearrange our date?”
“I’d like that,” Y/N nodded and tried to suppress a yawn.
“Go home! Text me when you get there so I know you’re safe,” Dean said, kissing her forehead.
“Alright, I’m going! Keep me updated on Cas, please?” she responded as she stepped backwards away from Dean.
“You got it,” Dean smiled, watching her turn around and walk down the hallway.
“Hey, Y/N!” he shouted, smirking when she turned around. “Good morning, beautiful.”
“Good night, handsome,” Y/N grinned back before turning and continuing down the hallway.
Tumblr media
Y/N spent her first day off sleeping for three to four hours, eating, watching television, doing chores for three to four hours, and then going back to sleep. During one of her awake times, she’d called Dean, and he’d happily let her know that Cas was officially “stable” and out of the woods. He’d be on his feet and heading home in no time.
They’d agreed to wait a few days before planning their date so Dean could be on hand to help Cas if he needed it. No doubt he’d be feeling the impact of the damage to his lungs and airways for a few weeks yet and would likely tire doing the most mundane of tasks.
Dean had apologised profusely and again promised to make it up to her, but Y/N convinced him there was no need, and she didn’t mind waiting a little longer for him.
“Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?” she’d teased him.
“So they tell me,” Dean huffed lightly, suggesting just a hint of frustration.
“Come on, De. We’ve waited twelve years. What’s a few more days?” Y/N chuckled, trying to lighten his mood.
“Yeah, I know. Doesn’t mean I need to like it, Princess.”
“Aww, are you missing me?” she teased again.
“Yeah, I am,” he sighed, and Y/N’s heart ached.
“Well, I know Cas will be taking up a lot of your time the next few days, but you know where I am if you wanna come over for dinner.”
“If I can, I will, sweetheart,” he sighed again. “Just wish I could promise.”
“Then promise to give me the best second date ever,” she giggled.
“Now that I can promise,” Dean said, and Y/N could hear the grin in his voice.
“Oh, I know you will!” Y/N giggled again, and Dean chuckled softly.
“I gotta go, Princess. I’ll call you later?”
“Can’t wait! Bye, De.”
“Bye, Y/N/N.”

Supernatural (Dean Winchester x Female!Reader)
Tumblr media
The Rapture
Masterlist pt 1
Masterlist pt 2
"Well, what did he say, Dean? What was so important?" I asked Dean as the three of us walk through a warehouse, flashlights on. Dean had woke both of us and said that Cas had visited him in his dream and told him to meet him here.
"If I knew, would I be here?" Dean asked me, annoyed, as we ascend a set of stairs. "Don't get snippy with me, Winchester." I said, warningly, just as we walked up the stairs to see destruction and dead bodies. "What the hell?" I said, shocked. "It looks like a bomb went off." Sam said. "There was a fight here." Dean points out. "Between who?" I asked while Dean's flashlight beam lands on a symbol painted in blood on the wall.
"Check it out. Look familiar?" He asked us. "Yeah, it does." Sam said. "Anna used something like that to wish the angels back to the cornfield." I said.
"So, what? Cas was fighting angels?" Sam asked. "I don't know." Dean said as we look around. "Sam. (Y/n)." Dean calls out and we run over to see Cas under some rubble..
"Cas? Cas. Hey, Cas?" Dean asked and Castiel starts to wake up. "What's...? What's..? What's going on?" He asked, in a voice that wasn't his own. Normally, Castiel has this deep gravelly sounding voice, this guy...he sounded like a normal guy. "Just take it easy. Take it easy." I assured him as we help him up.
"Oh. No." Cas mutters. "Cas, you okay?" Sam asked. "Ugh. Castiel. I'm not Castiel. It's me." Cas, or not Cas, said.  "Who's me?" I asked him. "Jimmy. My name's Jimmy." Jimmy replied. "Where the hell is Castiel?" Dean asked him. "He's gone." Jimmy replied.
We bring Jimmy back to the hotel, where he sits at the table and devours a hamburger, almost like he hadn't eaten in years. "You mind slowing down? You're gonna give me angina." Dean said. "I'm hungry." Jimmy said.
"When's the last time you ate?" Sam asked him. "I don't know. Months." Jimmy said before taking another bite of his hamburger and then continues to eat ravenously. "What the hell happened back there? It looked like an angel battle royale." I said. "All I remember is a flash of light and I, uh . . . I woke up and I was just, you know, like, me again." Jimmy replied, shrugging.
"So, what? Cas just ditched out of your meat suit?" Dean asked Jimmy. "I really don't know." He replied. "You remember anything about being possessed? Anything at all?" Sam asked him. "Yeah, bits and pieces. I mean, angel inside of you, it's kinda like being chained to a comet." Jimmy said.
"Ah, that doesn't sound like much fun." I remarked. "Understatement." Jimmy grumbles. "Cas said he wanted to tell us something. Please tell me you remember that." Sam said and Jimmy thinks for a moment then shakes his head. "Sorry." He said.
"Come on, what do you know?" Dean asked. "My name is Jimmy Novak. I'm from Pontiac, Illinois." He said and then he tells us about his family and how Castiel possessed him.
"So, what do we do?" Sam asked as him, Dean and I stand outside. "What do you mean? The guy's got a family. We buy him a bus ticket, send him home." Dean said. "I don't know about that. Dean, he's the only lead we got." Sam said.  He doesn't know anything." Dean said. "Are you 100 percent about that?" Sam asked and I look up at him.
"You think he's lying? What, you wanna go Guantanamo on the guy?" I asked him. "(Y/n), maybe he doesn't even know what he knows." Sam said, confusing me. "Huh?" Dean and I said. "I say, at least we get him to Bobby's. Maybe all he needs is hypnosis or a psychic. Or hell, maybe Cas will just drop back into him." Sam suggests. "I don't know, man." Dean said, unsure.
"Dean, back there, that was angel-on-angel violence. Now, I don't know what's going on, but it's big. And we can't just let the only lead we got just skip out." Sam said and Dean shakes his head.
"What?" Sam asked. "You remember when our job was helping people? Like, getting them back to their families?" Dean asked Sam. "You think I don't want to help him? I'm just being realistic. I mean, hell, we're doing him a favor." Sam said. "How?" I asked him, suspiciously. "Guys, if we want to question the guy, you can damn well bet the demons do, too." Sam said and I look over at Dean, who sighs in defeat.
"The hell are you talking about, I can't go home?" Jimmy asked us after we come back into the motel and talked to him. "There's a good chance you have a bull's-eye on your back." Dean said to him. "What? From who?" Jimmy asked. "Demons." I said and he looks at us, confused. "Come on, that's crazy. What do they want with me?" He asked.
"I don't know, information, maybe?" I said, shrugging. "I don't know anything." Jimmy exclaimed. "I know, but –" Dean started to say but Jimmy talks over him. "Look, I'm done, okay? With demons, angels, all of it. I just want to go home." He exclaims. "We understand." Dean said. "I don't think that you do understand. I've been shot and stabbed and healed, and my body has been dragged all over the Earth. By some miracle, I'm out, and I am done. I've given enough, okay?" Jimmy shouts.
"Look, all we're saying is that until we figure this out, the safest place is with us." Sam said. "How long?" Jimmy asked, calming down a bit. "We'll cross that bridge when we get to it." said Sam but Jimmy shakes his head and tries to move past Sam to get to the door.
"Where are you going?" Dean asked him. "To see my wife and daughter, okay?" Jimmy said. "No, you're not. You're just going to put those people in danger." Sam tells him and he looks between us. "So, what, now I'm a prisoner?" Jimmy asked. "Harsh way to put it." Sam said.
*3rd Person POV*
Sam looks at Jimmy, Dean and (y/n), all of whom appear to be asleep. Sam leaves the room, and Jimmy, quickly, gets up. He sneaks past Dean and (y/n) and leaves the motel room and sneaks pass Sam, who is standing by a vending machine outside of the room. Sam opens a flask of blood, pours the blood out onto his hand, and licks it up greedily.
*(y/n)'s POV*
Sam quickly packs a duffel bag while Dean brushes his teeth and I brush my hair. "Guys. Would you two hurry up?" Sam said, impatiently, and Dean laughs. "Sorry, uh, this is funny to you?" Sam asked him, angrily. "Mr. Big-Bad-Prison-Guard, Jimmy McMook give you the slip? Yeah, it's pretty funny." Dean said.
"What were you doing, anyway?" I asked Sam, suspiciously. "I was getting a Coke." Sam said, defensively. "Was it a refreshing Coke?" I asked him and we stare at each other for a moment before Sam says. "Can we just go, please?"
Later, Dean was driving while Sam sits besides him and I was in the backseat. Neither of us speaks and I look out the window, feeling my eyes drooping. "Hey, guys." a voice said, which made me and the boys jump. "Aah! Jeez." Dean said as he jerks the steering wheel and the Impala swerves before he gets it back under control.
I look next to me and see that the voice belonged to Anna. "Smooth." she said, snarkily. "You ever try calling ahead?" I asked her. "I like the element of surprise." She said, smiling, and I roll my eyes. "Well, you look terrific." Dean said since the last time we saw her, she just burst into a white light and disappeared.
"Um, yeah, not the most appropriate time, Dean. You let Jimmy get away?" She asked. "Talk to ginormo here." Dean said as he nods towards Sam. "Sam. You seem different." Anna said as she looks over at Sam. "Me? I don't know. Heh. A haircut?" Sam said, not sounding normal like he's hiding something. "That's not what I'm talking about." She said and she gives Sam a meaningful look and he looks away. Then she looks at Dean.
"So, what'd Jimmy tell you? He remember anything?" she asked. "Why? What's going on?" I asked her. "It's Cas. He got sent back home. Well, more like dragged back." She said. "To heaven? That's not a good thing?" Dean asked. "No. That's a very bad thing. Painfully, awfully bad. He must have seriously pissed someone off." Anna replied.
"Cas said he had something to tell me. Something important." Dean said. "What?" Anna asked. "I don't know." Dean said. "Does Jimmy know?" Anna asked. "I don't think so." Dean replied. "You don't think so? Whatever it is, it's huge. You gotta find out for sure." Anna said to us, urgently. "That's why we're going after Jimmy." Sam said.  "That's why you shouldn't have let him go in the first place. He's probably dead already." Anna said and Sam looks away from her and Anna sighs.
"She's not gonna be happy with this..." she mutters and I turn to her. "Who's not gonna be happy?" I asked her and Anna looks over at me. "My boss." She replied. "You have a boss?" Dean asked and Anna looks up at him. "Yes, we're trying to prevent the apocalypse but...it's turning out alot harder than we thought." She said.
"What do you mean by...?" I started to ask but then Anna disappeared and I scoff. "I hate it when they do that, go all Batman on us." I grumbled.
We make it over to Jimmy's house and make our way inside. There we see a man got ahold of Jimmy's daughter and this woman had Jimmy pinned down until she tackled Jimmy's wife. Dean grabs the man and cuts his throat with Ruby's knife, killing him. The woman gets up but is quickly caught by Sam, who stretches out his hand and uses his psychic abilities to begin exorcising her.
Dean and I stare at him. "Go. Get them out of here." Sam tells us and we turn to Jimmy and his daughter. "Go, go." We tell them and they flee and we lead them out. Then we come back in the house and see the woman taunting Sam.
"Aw. Can't get it up, can you, Sam?" She asked and I grabbed Ruby's knife out of Dean's hand. "No, but I can." I said and I go to stab her but the demon leaves its host body. Dean grabs Sam and we run out to the Impala. "Come on, come on, come on, come on." Dean said and we see Jimmy and his daughter.
"Thank God." Jimmy said, relieved. "Where's your wife?" Dean asked him. "Right here." She said as she comes up to us. "Let's go." Dean said and we all get into the Impala.
Later, we stand outside of the Impala with Jimmy, at a parking lot, while Jimmy's wife and daughter, Amelia and Claire, sit in the back seat of the Impala. "You were right." Jimmy said, defeated. "I'm sorry we were." Dean said, apologetically.
"I'm telling you, I don't know anything." Jimmy said. "I don't think they're inclined to believe you." I said to him. "And even if they did, you're a vessel. They're still gonna wanna know what makes you tick." Sam said. "Which means vivisection, if they're feeling generous." Dean said. "I'm gonna tell you once again, you're putting your family in danger. You have to come with us." I said to him.
"How long? And don't give me that cross that bridge when we get to it crap." Jimmy said, annoyed. "Don't you get it? Forever. The demons will never stop. You can never be with your family. So you either get as far away from them as possible or you put a bullet in your head. And that's how you keep your family safe. But there's no getting out and there's no going home." Sam tells him and Jimmy looks at him, horrified. "Well, don't sugarcoat it, Sam." Dean said. "I'm just telling him the truth, Dean. Someone has to." Sam said and Dean and I share a look.
Jimmy opens the back door of the Impala to speak to Amelia, Claire is asleep next to her. "Hey. So I pretty much owe you the biggest apology ever." Amelia said. "No, you don't." Jimmy said. "Yes, I do. I'm so sorry, Jimmy. And I will never, ever forgive myself for letting you walk out that door." Amelia said  "Well, you did what any rational person would have done. I mean, hell, I thought I was crazy half the time." Jimmy said, a bit of a chuckle in his voice.
"So demons, huh?" Amelia said. "Yeah." Jimmy said. "Can we..? Can we even go home, or...? What are we gonna do?" Amelia asked. "These boys and this lady are gonna get you a car, don't ask me how, and you're gonna take Claire to Carl and Sally's as fast as you can." Jimmy tells her. "Wait. What about you?" She asked and Jimmy doesn't reply.
"No, I'm not going anywhere without you, Jimmy." she said and it, honestly, made me a bit teary eyed. I guess it reminded me when I thought I'd never see Dean again before he was taken to Hell.
"Listen to me. Every moment that I'm with you, you and Claire are in danger." Jimmy said. "I don't care. We are not splitting up again." Amelia said. "We don't have a choice." he said. "For how long?" she asked him. "We'll cross that bridge when we get to it." he said.
"We're a family." Amelia cried. "They will kill you, Amelia, and they'll kill Claire. You just have to get as far away from me as you can." Jimmy said then he and his wife embrace and I look down then I felt an arm go around my waist.
I look over and see the arm belong to Dean and I look at him as he pulls me close to his side. I place my right arm around his waist and we stare at each other. Then he leans his forehead against mine and I closed my eyes and we stay like this for a few moments.
Minutes later, Sam hotwires a car while Amelia waits and Jimmy was standing next to Claire. "Okay, so, uh, here's your car." Sam said and Jimmy turns to Claire. "Hey. Take care of your mom, okay, bub?" He said. "Okay." She said and she and Amelia get into the car and Jimmy and I get into the backseat of the Impala while Dean drives and Sam in the passenger seat.
"What the hell happened back there?" Dean asked Sam sometime later. Rain had begun to pour down and Jimmy was asleep next to me. "What?" Sam asked Dean. "You practically fainted trying to gank a demon." Dean said. "Okay, I didn't faint. I got a little dizzy." Sam said. "Well, you can call it whatever you want. Point is, you used to be strong enough to kill Alastair. Now you can't even kill a stunt-demon number three?" Dean asked.
"What do you want me to say about it, Dean?" Sam asked, annoyed. "Well for starters, what's going on with your mojo? I mean, it's yo-yoing all over the place. I'm not trying to pick a fight here, okay? I just – you're scaring me, man." Dean said. "I'm scaring myself." Sam mutters and I lean forward. "Sam, what's going on with you? Just...talk to us, please." I said and he looks at me before his phone rings.
"Hello?" He answered. "Who is this?" He asked then he turns and holds the phone out to Jimmy. "Hey. It's your wife." He said and I pat Jimmy's arm and he wakes up. "Your wife's on the phone." I tell him and he takes Sam's phone. "Amelia?" He asked then his eyes widen in fear. "Oh, my God."
We pulled up to a warehouse and got out of the car, thinking of a plan. Jimmy said that his wife was possessed by a demon and they, of course, wanted him. They also had Claire. "Alright, they're expecting you to come alone. That's exactly what you're gonna do." Dean said. "We'll work our way through the catwalks. We'll be right behind you." Sam said. "All you gotta do is stay calm and stall. Let us do our job." I tell him as Jimmy seems to freak out.
"You want me to stay calm? This is my family we're talking about." He said, panicked. "Listen to me, this will work. You understand? Nobody's gonna get hurt." Dean assures him and Jimmy sighs.
"Yeah, whatever. Give me a minute, okay?" He said and he walks away from us, towards the warehouse. "There's no way they're expecting him to come alone, Dean. You know this is probably a trap." Sam said. "Yeah, I know. That's why I have a plan." Dean said.
*3rd Person POV*
Jimmy walks towards the warehouse and begins to shout at the sky. "Castiel, you son of a bitch! You promised me my family would be okay. You promised you were gonna take care of them. I gave you everything you asked me to give. I gave you more. This is the thanks I get? This is what you do? This is your heaven? Help me, please. You promised, Cas. Just help me." he shouts and there was no answer and he shakes his head. "Typical." He mutters and he enters the warehouse.
Amelia stands next to Claire, who is tied to a chair and unconscious. "Hi, honey. You're home." Amelia said, mockingly. "Listen, I'm – I'm begging you here. You do whatever you want with me, but my wife and daughter, they're just – they're not a part of this." Jimmy said. "Oh, they're a big part of this, Jimmy. And P.S. You should've come alone." She said.
"I am alone." Jimmy said. "Oh, you're such a liar. Like I didn't think you'd bring Heckle, Jeckle and Hyde, hmm?" Amelia said just as Sam, Dean and (y/n) are lead into the room by three demons, who hold them prisoner.
"Nice plan, Dean." (Y/n) grumbles. "Yeah, well, nobody bats 1,000." Dean said. "Got the knife?" Amelia asked and the demon holding Sam, holds up Ruby's knife to show her.
"And you know what's funny?" Amelia asked. "You wearing a soccer mom?" Dean snarks. "Is I was actually bummed to get this detail, picking up an empty vessel. Sort of like a milk run. Now look who landed in my lap." Amelia said. "Yeah, well, you got us, okay? Let these people go." Sam demanded  "Oh, Sam. It's easy to act chivalrous when your Wonder Girl powers aren't working, huh? Now for the punch line. Everybody dies." Amelia said then she holds up a gun and shoots Jimmy in the gut. (Y/n) gasped as he falls to his knees and Amelia turns to one of the demon holding (y/n).
"Waste Little Orphan Annie." She ordered and she leaves the room while the Demon walks around Jimmy and towards Claire, who is still tied to a chair and unconscious. The demon picks up a pipe and swings it towards Claire, but she suddenly grabs the pipe in one hand and places the other hand on the demon's forehead.
The demon screams as he is exorcised in a bright light. Using the distraction, the boys and (y/n) turn on the Demons holding them. While they struggle, Claire, who is now possessed by Castiel, burns away the ropes holding her. Jimmy lies on the ground, bleeding, and looks at her in horror.
"Castiel." He said, weakly, while Dean, Sam and (y/n) continue to fight the demons. Sam gets Ruby's knife back from the female demon and holds her down, staring at her neck. (Y/n) fights the male demon until he knocks her down then fights Dean and pummeles him until Castiel approaches and places her hand on his head, exorcising him.
Sam cuts the neck of the female demon and drinks her blood. He turns, mouth still bloody, to see Dean, (y/n) and Castiel, still in Claire's body, watching him in horror. Sam turns back and stabs the demon through the heart with Ruby's knife, killing her, and then turns towards the trio again.
He stands and holds out his hand, just in time to catch Amelia and exorcise her with his recharged psychic powers. Dean and (y/n) hold Amelia up and Castiel goes over to Jimmy, who is dying from his gunshot wound. "Of course we keep our promises. Of course you have our gratitude. You served us well. Your work is done. It's time to go home now. Your real home. You'll rest forever in the fields of the Lord. Rest now, Jimmy." Castiel tells Jimmy.
"No. Claire?" Jimmy said. "She's with me now. She's chosen. It's in her blood, as it was in yours." Castiel said. "Please, Castiel. Me, just take me. Take me, please." Jimmy pleads as Sam, Dean and Amelia approach them but hold back when they see them talking. "I wanna make sure you understand. You won't die or age. If this last year was painful for you, picture a hundred, a thousand more like it." Castiel tells him.
"It doesn't matter. You take me. Just take me." Jimmy pleads and Castiel looks him over. "As you wish." She said then she touches Jimmy's face and a bright light emanates from his eyes and mouth. Claire drops to her hands and knees, and Castiel, now in Jimmy's body, stands up. He walks past Amelia and stands next to Sam, Dean and (y/n). Amelia runs to Claire and embraces her then her and Castiel's eyes meet, and then he turns to go.
"Cas, hold up. What were you gonna tell me?" Dean asked him as he stops him. "I learned my lesson while I was away, Dean. I serve heaven, I don't serve man, and I certainly don't serve you." Castiel said and he walks away while the trio watch.
Later, Dean drives through the rain in silence, Sam in the back seat and (y/n) in the passenger seat. "All right, let's hear it." Sam sighs. "What?" Dean and (y/n) asked. "Drop the bomb, guys. You saw what I did. Come on, stop the car, take a swing." Sam said. "I'm not gonna take a swing." Dean said, calmly. "Then scream, chew me out." Sam yells. "I'm not mad, Sam." Dean said.
"Come on. You're not mad?" Sam asked. "Nope." Dean said and Sam looks over at (y/n), who shrugs and shakes her head. "Right. Look, at least let me explain myself." Sam said. "Don't. I don't care." Dean said. "You don't care?" Sam asked, confused. "What do you want me to say, that I'm disappointed? Yeah, I am. But, mostly, I'm just tired, man. I'm done. I am just done." Dean said, in a tired voice, then Sam's cellphone rings. He answers it.
"Hey, Bobby." Sam said. "Hey, you, your brother and (y/n) better shag ass to my place ASAP." Bobby said. "What's going on?" Sam asked. "The apocalypse, genius. Now get your asses over here." Bobby ordered, firmly, and Sam hangs up his phone. "What'd he say?" (Y/n) asked him.
Later, Bobby lead Sam, Dean and (y/n) approach the door to the panic room. "Well, thanks for shaking a tail." Bobby said. "Yeah, you got it." Dean said as Sam opens the door. "Go on inside. I wanna show you something." Bobby said and Sam walks into the panic room while Dean, (y/n) and Bobby hang back.
"All right. So, uh, what's the big demon problem?" Sam asked. "You are. This is for your own good." Bobby said and they close to and lock the door. Sam walks to the barred window. "Guys? Hey, hey. What?" He shouts and Bobby closes and latches the window.
"This isn't funny. Guys! Hey! Guys?" Sam shouts, panicked.

The Rapture
POV: (Y/n)
Mhhh I love the fresh smell of coffee and a good book and the rain to pair it with. It's almost too good to be true because it is. “We need to talk.” It was Cas. “Cas? I'm dreaming aren’t I.” “It's not safe here. Someplace more private.” “What’s more private than my own head?” “Exactly. Someone could be listening.” He looked more serious than usual. I stood up, almost reaching out. “Cas what’s wrong?” “Meet me here.” He hands me a piece of paper and his hand lingers on mine. “Go now.” I wake up with a startle and a bad feeling and cold sweat mixed together.
Tumblr media
“Well, what did he say, Y/n? What was so important?” We had flashlights while going through an abandoned warehouse. “Sam, if I knew, would I have woken you guys up scaring the shit out of you? And risk Dean shooting my face off!?” Sam was quiet after that. “Thank you!”
We come into this room that looked like something had exploded. “It looks like a bomb went off.” “It was a fight.” I stated a matter of factly. “Between who?” Both of them asked. I looked up at the wall and a huge sigil in blood was there. “Guys that’s what Anna used to send the Angels away.” The three of us are staring in wonder when I glance to the side and see something I never wanted too. “Guys? CAS! CAS!”
I ran over to his body. I kneel down and start to shake him. “Cas wake up!” And he does. “Oh my gosh, are you okay!?” I started to ask and Cas looked confused but it was different than his usual questioning human behavior look. “What's . . . ? What's . . . ? What's going on?”  “Just take it easy. Take it easy.” Dean said. “Oh. No.” “Cas, you okay?” “Castiel. I'm not Castiel. It's me.” Huh? “Who's 'me'?” Sam asked confused as well. “Jimmy. My name's Jimmy.” Jimmy? “Where the hell is Castiel?” I was now scared and befuddled. “He's gone.”
Tumblr media
Jimmy was devouring his hamburger while the three of us still wondered who Jimmy was. “You mind slowing down? You're gonna give me angina.” Dean rudely said. “Dean!” I death stared at him. “I'm hungry.” “I'm sure you are.” I'm still trying to process all of this. “When's the last time you ate?” “I don't know. Months.” Holy crap I would be too. “Mmm. Mmm. Mmm!” “What the hell happened back there? It looked like an angel battle royale.” Sam asked. “All I remember is a flash of light and I, uh . . . I woke up and I was just, you know, like, me again.” He looked at me during that pause.
“So, what? Cas just ditched out of your meat suit?” “I really don't know.” “You remember anything about being possessed? Anything at all?” “Yeah, bits and pieces. I mean, angel inside of you, it's kinda like being chained to a comet.” “That sounds awful.” I want to try to comfort but he is not Cas I sadly have to keep remembering. “Understatement.” “Jimmy, Cas said he wanted to tell us something do you remember that?” I asked sectionally “Sorry.” Shit. “Come on, what do you know?” “My name is Jimmy Novak. I'm from Pontiac, Illinois. I have a family.”
Tumblr media
Hearing how Jimmy got possessed I felt terrible for him and his family so I knew what had to happen even though it would break my heart Jimmy deserves to be happy. “So, what do we do?” Sam questioned. “Sam what do you mean Jimmy has a family.” “I agree with Y/n.” “I don't know about that. Guys, he's the only lead we got.” “He doesn't know anything.” I was getting annoyed at this point. “Are you 100 percent about that?” “You think he's lying? What, you wanna go Guantanamo on the guy?” “Dean, maybe he doesn't even know what he knows.” “Huh? Sam.” “I say, at least we get him to Bobby's. Maybe all he needs is hypnosis or a psychic. Or hell, maybe Cas will just drop back into him.”
I didn't know if I wanted that, Jimmy deserved to live a happy life but at the same time I just wanted to look at his face and know it was my best friend. “We don’t know Sam.” “Guys, back there, that was angel-on-angel violence. Now, I don't know what's going on, but it's big. And we can't just let the only lead we got just skip out.” Dean shaked his head.
“What?” “You remember when our job was helping people? Like, getting them back to their families?” That was a good point I remember when our biggest worry was where dad was. “You think I don't want to help him? I'm just being realistic. I mean, hell, we're doing him a favor.” “How Sam!?” I kind of yelled. “Guys, if we want to question the guy, you can damn well bet the demons do, too.”
Tumblr media
“The hell are you talking about, I can't go home?” Jimmy uderstanbly was angry. “There's a good chance you have a bull's-eye on your back.” Dean told him. “What? From who?” “Demons.” I stated with one word. “Come on, that's crazy. What do they want with me?” “I don't know, information, maybe?” “I don't know anything!” “Jimmy we know but the demons will still jump rope with your insides no matter what.” “Look, I'm done, okay? With demons, angels, all of it. I just want to go home.” “Of course we understand.”
“I don't think that you do understand. I've been shot and stabbed and healed, and my body has been dragged all over the Earth. By some miracle, I'm out, and I am done. I've given enough, okay?” He goes to walk out but Sam stops him. “Look, all we're saying is that until we figure this out, the safest place is with us.” “How long?” “We really don’t know-” I started to say but Sam interrupted me. “We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.” Jimmy shook his head and continued to walk out. “Where are you going?” “To see my wife and daughter, okay?” “No, you're not. You're just going to put those people in danger.” “So, what, now I'm a prisoner?” “Harsh way to put it.”
Tumblr media
It was four AM and I could not sleep. I mean usually I couldn't but not even could manage a slight nod off. Everyone else was sleeping and I just kept looking at Jimmy feeling guilty that we've kept him here. He deserves to go home, ughh I just hope Sam and Dean don’t find out. I got up as quietly as possible and left the room.
Tumblr media
I was walking back with his bus ticket when I saw him running my way. “Y/n wait before you take me back-” I took out the ticket. “You better hurry, your bus leaves in an hour.” He was confused. I handed him it and kept on walking. “Y/n.” “Yes.” “In this past year the bits I do remember you were there you mean a lot to him you were his best friend too.” Tears were now burning in my eyes. “Thanks, Jimmy and I mean this with all my whole heart. Have a great life.” “You too Y/n.”
Tumblr media
We were now driving to get to Jimmy even though I literally just let him go so I was praying that he was safe but of course my prayers never get answered. “Hey, guys.” It was Anna scaring the shit out of us, she popped up right beside me. “Aah! Jeez.” The car swerved.  “You ever try calling ahead?” “I like the element of surprise.” “Well, you look terrific.” Dean looked back at her. “I will slap you upside the head Dean Winchester.” “Um, yeah, not the most appropriate time, Dean. You let Jimmy get away?” I suddenly thought the outside looked very interesting.
“Talk to ginormo here.” “Sam. You seem different.” What does she mean? She looks at Sam like she knew something. “Me? I don't know. Heh. A haircut?” “That's not what I'm talking about.” “So, what'd Jimmy tell you? He remember anything?” “Why? What's going on?” “It's Cas. He got sent back home. Well, more like dragged back.”
“What!?” I almost yelled out. “To heaven? That's not a good thing?” “No. That's a very bad thing. Painfully, awfully bad. He must have seriously pissed someone off.” I hope it wasn't because of us. “Cas said he had something to tell me. Something important.” I told her. “What?” “I don't know.” “Does Jimmy know?” “I don't think so.” “You don't think so? Whatever it is, it's huge. You gotta find out for sure.” “That's why we're going after Jimmy.” Sam tried to get Anna to stop nagging us. “That's why you shouldn't have let him go in the first place. He's probably dead already.”
Tumblr media
We pulled up to Jimmy’s house just in time to hear a scream. When I ran in there were two demons attacking Jimmy and his wife. I go behind the man and cut his throat. The other Demon approaches us. “Go. Get them out of here!” Sam screamed at us. And I grabbed Claire to get her out. “Daddy!” She of course wanted to stay. I kneeled down quickly to her level. “Claire, listen to me we have to go I will help your dad, I promise.” “Promise. Now go.” She ran out the door. A demon was now on Jimmy. “Get off of him!” I throw it off and fight to stab it flips me over and now is doing the same. It gets very close when it dies and Jimmy is standing over it. “Come on!” He offers his hand and we run out of the house.
Tumblr media
The parking garage was cold but safe and this time I knew Jimmy had to come with us. “You were right.” “I'm sorry we were.” I regretfully told him. “I'm telling you, I don't know anything.” “I don't think they're inclined to believe you.” “And even if they did, you're a vessel. They're still gonna wanna know what makes you tick.” “Which means vivisection, if they're feeling generous.” “I'm gonna tell you once again, you're putting your family in danger. You have to come with us.” Sam was now getting aggressive.
“How long? And don't give me that "cross that bridge when we get to it" crap.” Jimmy had a right to know. “Look Jimmy-” Once again Sam cut me off. “Don't you get it? Forever. The demons will never stop. You can never be with your family. So you either get as far away from them as possible or you put a bullet in your head. And that's how you keep your family safe. But there's no getting out and there's no going home.” “Well, don't sugarcoat it, Sam.” “I'm just telling him the truth, Dean. Someone has to.” Jimmy goes to say goodbye to his family. “
Tumblr media
Were driving away from the garage. “What the hell happened back there?” “What?” “You practically fainted trying to gank a demon.” “You did what!?” I was very surprised. “Okay, I didn't faint. I got a little dizzy.” “Well, you can call it whatever you want. Point is, you used to be strong enough to kill Alastair. Now you can't even kill a stunt-demon number three?”
“What do you want me to say about it, Dean?” “Well for starters, what's going on with your mojo? I mean, it's yo-yoing all over the place. I'm not trying to pick a fight here, okay? I just – you're scaring me, man.” “I'm scaring myself.” That is not good considering Sam looked like he hadn't slept in a week. His phone ranged and he answered it. “Hello? . . . Who is this?” “Hey. It's your wife.” Sam handed the phone to jimmy. “Amelia? . . . Oh, my God.”
Tumblr media
God do I hope this plan works. “Alright, they're expecting you to come alone. That's exactly what you're gonna do.” “We'll work our way through the catwalks. We'll be right behind you.” “All you gotta do is stay calm and stall. Let us do our job.” “You want me to stay calm? This is my family we're talking about.” I took Jimmy’s shoulder and turned him to me. “Jimmy, I promise that nothing will happen to your family and you.” He looked like he believed me. “Give me a minute, okay?” He got out of the car. “There's no way they're expecting him to come alone, Guys. You know this is probably a trap.” “Yeah, I know. That's why I have a plan.” Dean was so confident which was scary because if this didn't work out I would never forgive myself.
Tumblr media
“Oh, you're such a liar. Like I didn't think you’d bring the three stooges, hmm?” The demon lackey brought us out. “Great plan Dean!” “Yeah, well, nobody bats 1,000.” “Got the knife?” The demon brought the knife out from my pocket. “And you know what's funny?” “You're a bitch even after death.” I commated. “Is I was actually bummed to get this detail, picking up an empty vessel. Sort of like a milk run. Now look who landed in my lap.” “Yeah, well, you got us, okay? Let these people go.” “Oh, Sam. It's easy to act chivalrous when your Wonder Girl powers aren't working, huh? Now for the punch line. Everybody dies.” She holds up a gun to me acts like she's about to shoot but instead turns the gun on Jimmy. BANG! “NO!!!”
I try to get out of the demon’s hands but to no avail. “Jimmy!” “Waste Little Orphan Annie.” The demon goes over to Clarie with a bat. I mange to sqrime out of the demons hands just in time. Clare looks up but its not her it’s Cas? She suddenly grabs the pipe in one hand and places the other hand on the Demon's forehead. The Demon screams as he is exorcised in a bright light. Using the distraction, Sam and Dean turn on the Demons holding them. While they struggle, Clarie, who is now possessed by Castiel, burns away the ropes holding her. Jimmy lies on the ground, bleeding, and looks at her in horror. I ran to Jimmy. It’s bleeding so much.
“Jimmy you're ok you're ok.” I took off my jacket and tried to press the pressure “I'm so sorry.” I'm so focused on him that everything is background noise. “Clarie.” She’s right beside me. “Of course we keep our promises. Of course you have our gratitude. You served us well. Your work is done. It's time to go home now. Your real home. You'll rest forever in the fields of the Lord. Rest now, Jimmy.” “No. Claire?” “She's with me now. She's chosen. It's in her blood, as it was in yours.” “Please, Castiel. Me, just take me. Take me, please.” “I wanna make sure you understand. You won't die or age. If this last year was painful for you, picture a hundred, a thousand more like it.” He looks at me and nods like he was telling me he was going to be okay. “It doesn't matter. You take me. Just take me.” “As you wish.”
Clarie puts her hands on her Father’s face and a bright light flashes. When it was over Clarie dropped to her hands it was a lot for her. Jimmy well I guess Cas just walked up and ignored his family and walked out. “Cas, hold up. What were you gonna tell me?” I catched up to him. “I learned my lesson while I was away, Y/n. I serve heaven, I don't serve man, and I certainly don't serve you.” He walked away and my brothers were just as stunned as me but I snapped out of it.
“OH HELL NO!” I followed after him. “Cas you get your ass back here right now.” “Why, because I'm your dog?” I was baffled. “What Cas no I- what happened?” “I just got told the truth that the only reason why you're friends with me is because I can do anything and I will come running if you call.” “Cas I don't know what the hell why you think but it's not like that and you know that!” “Y/n you're not my friend you're a distraction from my mission which is Dean Winchester.” “SO, after everything I'm what nothing.” “No y/n… you're a distraction and I can’t have those.” He got close and handed me back the phone I got him. He walked out after that. And what I felt was everything at once.
Tumblr media
We got to Bobby’s house and this day just gets worse and worse. “Well, thanks for shaking a tail.” “Yeah, you got it.” Sam stepped in the ghost panic room. “All right. So, uh, what's the big demon problem?” Sam said, looking around. “You are. This is for your own good.” Bobby slammed the door shut. “Guys? Hey, hey. What?” “This isn't funny. Guys! Hey! Guys?” I don’t know what to do how could I help my brother when I couldn't even help my best friend?
Tumblr media
Hey Guys hope you enjoyed it. I am so sorry this took forever. I have been really busy. But I will try to update whenever I can. For the first time we end on a cliffhanger. I loved this episode. Everyone did an amazing acting job. And let's put our hands together for Misha for Jimmy so good and then snapping right back to Cas. We are almost to the end. I can't wait!

Dean could not imagine life being any more perfect than it was at this moment. (Y/N) was curled against him with her arm draped over his waist. The morning sun was shining in through the small bus window and the constant hum of the motor was lulling him back asleep until his phone began to buzz.
I know it's early but can I call you?
“Shit.” He whispered before typing a reply.
It’s okay, I’m awake. You can call me
He pushed himself to sit up as (Y/N) turned away from him. He ran his hand down her bare back as his phone began buzzing.
“Hey Ben, everything okay?”
There was silence on the other end for several seconds before he spoke, “Hey… dad? Do I call you dad?”
Dean’s heart began thumping rapidly hearing Ben call him that. It surprised him how much he liked hearing someone call him that.
“If you feel more comfortable calling me Dean then we’ll go with that. I’m glad your mom finally told you about me and that we can start getting to know each other.”
“For… For now, I think I’ll call you Dean. It feels weird to call you dad. Though as far as dads go, you’re pretty cool. My friends are going to crap their pants when I tell them who you’re touring with.” Ben chuckled.
(Y/N) stirred next to him as she stretched her arms above her head. The sheet drifted down her body distracting him for a moment.
“Dean?” Ben’s voice brought him back to the conversation at hand.
“Yeah buddy, what did you say?”
“It’s okay if I tell my friends, right? I mean… if you don’t want me…” His voice faded off.
Dean smiled, “Of course, you can tell your friends about me. If they don’t believe you then call me and I’ll set them straight.”
A soft giggle came from (Y/N) as she propped herself up on her elbow. She held the sheet up to her chest to make sure she was covered and not distracting him.
“Thanks Dean. I have to go now, but maybe we could talk again later in the week?”
He smiled, “Absolutely. Just texted me before you call. I’ll talk to you soon.”
Dean had barely set his phone down before (Y/N) was straddling his lap, “Kid is right, you are pretty cool for a dad and hot.”
Her lips came down to his letting the sheet fall from her grasp. The kiss led to a morning of love making and a nap before heading into rehearsals and soundchecks.
Tonight’s show was important for Sam as they debuted the song he had been working hard on since the beginning of the tour. They rehearsed it three times before Sam felt confident to move on with the rest of their soundcheck. As they were getting ready to start the second half of their set, Dean noticed (Y/N) and Eileen coming to the side stage to watch them.
“How we doing tonight?” Dean asked, swinging his guitar onto his back.
The crowd erupted into applause and cheers. Sweat rolled down the side of his face as the sun began to set. Dean stepped up onto the stage platform yelling out.
“I said, how we doing tonight!” The roar from the crowd shook the ground beneath them, “That’s more like it. This next song goes out to all the beautiful ladies in the crowd.”
Cowboy hats and beers were held up into the air as he continued, “That’s right, I see all you beautiful ladies who are confident and know what they want. On behalf of men everywhere, thank you for choosing some of us as what you want. This is ‘What She Wants Tonight’”
He jumped off the platform as Sam started playing the first notes of the song. Dean stepped up to his microphone looking over to (Y/N).
“She walks up, velvet rope unhooks She snaps her fingers and a drink comes She locks you down with just one look She's got this whole club undone
If she's on the rebound, you ain't gonna know it Coming off a heartbreak, she ain't gonna show it She's eyes caught, red dot, locked on me, yeah”
He looked out over the crowd thrusting his hand out towards as he sang the chorus.
“She wants my hands on her body She wants to burn like she's made of fire”
The pyro flared behind them as he continued to sing.
“Said, she ain't going home till we Drink every drop of Kentucky dry Don't even know what she'll do when she does it Palm of her hand, I'm hers in the blink of an eye She don't take no and I love She gets what she wants And I get to be what she wants tonight And I get to be what she wants tonight”
He grabbed the mic from the stand, walking over to the other side of the stage singing the next verse. As he walked back over to center stage, he noticed Eileen was by herself. When he began to sing the chorus, he felt a back press against his and smiled.
“She wants my hands on her body”
Dean ran his hand down the side of her body. Adrenaline pumping through his veins pushed the panic of being in public with (Y/N) back down into the pit of his stomach. In that moment, the words he sang were never more true. He was hers and he wanted no other way.
“She wants to burn like she's made of fire Said she ain't going home till we Drink every drop of Kentucky dry Don't even know what she'll do when she does it Palm of her hand, I'm hers in the blink of an eye”
(Y/N) stepped to his side playing it up for the cheering crowd. Her hands ran down his body as he tried to focus on playing his guitar.
“She don't take no and I love She gets what she wants And I get to be what she wants tonight And I get to be what she wants tonight”
The song broke into the bridge and Dean took his guitar off tossing it to one of the crew members. He stepped up onto the platform and pulled (Y/N) up with him.
“And I don't know how I got to be the only thing she needs right now”
He pulled her to him, crashing his lips to hers. In a single moment, the world around them stopped. He was telling the whole world that he was hers and vice versa. Pulling away from her, Dean saw the bewildered look in her eyes then a beautiful grin spreading across her face. Mirroring her smile, he began to sing the chorus one last time to her. When the song ended, Dean pulled his mic down as the stage went black and he leaned in saying three words that terrified him.
“I love you.”
He barely heard the gasp escaping her lips as the crowd went wild. The crew was pulling them down to set up for Sam’s song and Dean quickly kissed her on the cheek before running back to the piano waiting for him.
Instead of Cas’s drumset, there sat a beautiful piano. Cas was down on stage next to Sam with a box to drum on. Dean looked down to his little brother who was sitting on a stool with his acoustic guitar. He could see him nervously running his hand over his hair and fiddling with strings of his guitar. Movement from the other side of the stage caught his eye as Eileen stepped as close as she could without coming up on stage to watch Sam’s performance. When Sam saw her standing there, his whole body relaxed.
The spotlight came up on Sam, “We’re going to bring it down a little for this next song. I’ve been working on it for a while with the help of my friends and some encouragement from someone very special to me.”
He glanced off to the side where Eileen was and it seemed both Winchesters were making silent declarations to the ladies in their lives.
“For those who don’t know, before being in Wayward Sons I went to Stanford. I met the woman who I thought I would spend forever with. Life seemed to have different plans when she passed in a tragic accident. So many years later, I am breaching the surface of dealing with my grief and one way was by writing this song.” He began to strum the first few notes on his guitar, “This is Tequila.”
As Sam sang the first verse, (Y/N) snuck up onto the platform where his piano was and sat beside him. Her eyes focused on his fingers dancing along the ivory keys. A small smile spread wider on her face. Then her eyes locked on his eyes when he joined Sam singing the chorus.
Tumblr media
“But when I taste tequila, baby I still see ya Cuttin' up the floor in a sorority t-shirt The same one you wore when we were Sky high in Colorado, your lips pressed against the bottle Swearin' on a Bible, baby, I'd never leave ya I remember how bad I need ya, when I taste tequila (when I, when I, when I) When I taste tequila (when I, when I, when I)”
Sam went into the second verse and (Y/N) leaned her back against his side. He could hear her singing along with his brother. Dean was surprised that she knew the lyrics.
“I can kiss somebody brand new and not even think about you I can show up to the same bar Hear the same songs in my car Baby, your memory it only hits me this hard”
Something about the way she looked off in the distance as she sang made his stomach churn. Trying to shake off the feeling, Dean focused on singing the chorus and playing out the rest of the song. He looked down at his brother, who had stood up for his stool that Eileen was now sitting on. The happiness on Sam’s face brought joyful tears to his eyes. As they sang the last few lines, Dean looked over to see (Y/N) was now gone and his heart fell a little.
The rest of their set went without a hitch. As soon as Dean was off stage he looked for (Y/N) unable to find her anywhere. He waited for her near the main stage and she finally appeared mere seconds before she had to go on. She stopped long enough to kiss his cheek and then ran out onto the dark stage. His heart sunk even further in his chest as she began to sing.
“Here I am with my drink in hand Gonna make a little noise It's 3 am Me and my friends are hangin' with the boys Strip away like a hurricane And turn me upside down”
She stepped up on a platform where there was a makeshift cage gripping the bars as she sang.
“Cuz I'm an animal in a cage Won't you come and let me out Feel my body Temperature's rising Whether you're ready or not”
Like the thousands of people watching her, Dean was mesmerized by her performance. (Y/N) was weaving her magic with each word she sang and every move of her body. They were all under her spell as she finished the chorus and went into the second verse.
“No alibi Now you decide Tell me what's it gonna be”
(Y/N) wiggled her finger for Kyren to come over to her. Her fingers threading through his hair bring his face as close to her body as possible without touching her. Dean’s fist clenched at his side seeing his nose graze against her thigh as she sang.
“Can't get enough So fire it up Let's get you down on me Feeling naughty My clothes are falling Whether you're ready or not”
A tap on his shoulder brought his angry gaze onto Eileen and Sam standing next to him. Eileen signed, ‘I’m sorry.’ She looked out towards the stage. Dean followed her line of sight to see (Y/N) stripped down to the equivalent of her bra and panties.
“I'm coming in hot For the weekend Won't you turn me up Ready or not I'm coming in I'm coming in hot Off the deep end Electrify me up Give me that shock I'm coming in I'm coming in hot”
He had watched every show of Beauty from Pain and never once had she stripped down this much in front of the crowd. When he watched Kyren’s hand snake down her body before giving her ass a firm smack. Dean had enough walking off towards the green room.
“Are you okay?” His brother’s voice pierced through the rage burn throughout his body.
Dean stared at the wall in front of him for a moment before pulling his arm back and smashing his fist through it. The pain radiated up his arm into his shoulder and back. He could feel a couple of his knuckles crack and in an instance knew his hand was broken.
“I’ll take that as a no.” Sam flatly said.
“Fuck!” He yelled before turning around and showing Sam his bloody hand, “I think I need to see the doc.”
They walked back to the med tent and the tour medical staff quickly wrapped his hand up. None of them asked how or why his hand was a mess. The doctor only told him that it would be a couple of weeks for it to heal. Dean walked with Sam in silence back towards the meet and greet area. Before they entered Sam stopped him.
“I like (Y/N). I think she’s good for you and vice versa. But she’s not worth this.”
He looked up at his little brother giving him a small nod. Sam squeezed his shoulder before walking inside. Dean could hear (Y/N)’s voice from the stage luring him to come to her like a moth to the flame. Shaking his head, he followed Sam and finished his night out by focusing on the fans there to meet him.
He made sure that he was back on his bus before (Y/N)’s set had ended. Sam and Cas were also there, neither of them saying anything. For the first time in a long time, the three of them hung out as the bus sped down the highway to their next city. Any thoughts of (Y/N) he pushed out of his mind and tried to enjoy his time with his family.

CONTROL
Castiel x reader
Blurb
Helping to clean Cas up after a fight seems to be the only thing Y/n can control in her life.
TW: season 10, moc!Dean almost kills Cas, minor character death, mentions of death, canon level violence, blood
Dean had just murdered the Stynes.
Now, as Y/n walked through the door to see Dean kneeling over Castiel’s battered body, holding the angel blade up, ready to strike, time seemed to move in slow motion.
She dropped her bag, sprinting down the stairs. “Dean! No!” She screamed, flying around the corner and gripping the arm holding the blade strong.
“You son-of-a-bitch, get off of him!” She yelled, jumping onto his back and pulling at his arm.
Dean seemed to be contemplating his choices. The mark may make him an uncontrollable monster, but the little bit of Dean left in him seemed to let up on the angel in front of him and the girl behind him.
She yelled again, “Goddammit get off!” Dean let her grab the blade from him, pulling him off of Castiel.
“Let go of me.” He commanded, voice gruff. She did as he said, taking the blade and letting him go.
“Stay out of it. Or next time, I won’t miss. And it won’t just be Cas.” Dean eyed her, walking out and around the pillar.
She exhaled, throwing the blade to the side and turning to Cas, helping to pull him up. “Castiel, I’m so sorry. I should have gotten here sooner.”
“No, it’s not your fault. It’s the mark.” He sighed, sitting up and wiping the blood from his mouth.
She got up to go get the medical kit from the bathroom, rushing back to where Castiel was sitting. She straddled his lap and began wiping the blood from his face.
“He murdered every last one of them. He was going to kill you too, Castiel. I didn’t think it was this bad.” She murmured, a small tear running down her cheek.
He reached out, wiping the tear with his thumb, smearing a touch of blood on her face. “Nobody did. It seemed like he had it under control.” He responded, keeping still as she kept wiping his face.
They both knew this wasn’t necessary, he was an angel, he’d heal just fine. But it was a control thing. It was something she could control in the mess they found themselves in.

fatherhood for an angel chapter 4
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After putting all the team-free will into their designated headspace Gabriel decided to stoke out and see what traps had been laid outside The Warehouse. He didn't see any but when he saw the Impala windows rolled down And parts under a tree instead of in the open for once he got curious. When he went and looked inside the Impalas windows he noticed the trench coat of Castiel only over something he couldn't quite make out when he removed the coat and saw an infant in a carrier. I could feel the grace of this child rolling off of her he's blood boiled. Castiel left not only a child and infants but an infant angel unattended in a vehicle specifically a black vehicle Gabriel's paternal instinct kicked in as he had raised many an angel in his time Do you talk Edina out of the seat ever so gently and realize that she was in grace induced slumber by the fact that she didn't wake by the simple movement Even with his hands grazing where her wings should be. just fueled this rage when a nasty idea crossed his mind.
Meanwhile, the brothers and Castiel didnt know what the point this time was.
Sam had to watch/live Jessica die all over this time not at the hands of yellow eyes. And one of his 3 kids killed themself. How does somebody tell their kid that he didn't know what to do but it kept him busy. case after case barely gave himself a moment to breathe the bags under his eyes were intense. His oldest daughter was trying to constantly get them to go on a blind date or something Live in Mom's memory not wallow in it.Sam doesn't believe in that He didn't want to move on from JessBecause this time he had had everything he'd wanted
Dean lived a life with Lisa and Ben. Married for 4 years. Ben is now an expectant older brother . And that's where her Dean's first tragedy lies. When he found out that Lisa had lost the baby. His whole world starts to crumble around him he didn't know how to feel. That was his child just as much as it was hers.Ben was sobbing every other day because he didn't know what to do Lisa stayed in bed most every day.He didn't know what to do. The Impala broke down and with her being as old as she is sometimes parts are harder to find than he would like and even Bobby didn't have any parts for her.thats
where his next tragedy lies. The health of Bobby Singer had tanked. Nobody knew how long Bobby would have.He had heard Sam say that he didn't have time to take off of work because he was in the middle of a case and there was no way out. He had somebody he had to defend. He couldn't leave Lisa much less than but it felt like shit for leaving Bobby
Nothing happened to CastielHe didn't even know what was going on with the boys He couldn't use any of his power to get out of this trap.He just watched his daughterWho's technically a sister but we don't talk about thatShe watched her learn so many things so I'm tutoring her in English and math and basic sciences and the histories that she needed to know, learning to drive with Dean. he wanted so many things for her nad he saw them all coming true.
This went on for days.As Gaberial took care of Adina she wasnt so fussy .her small health issues had cleared up .her Crys softened not using her angelic voice as much now thats when Gabe had to enact his idea. he went back to his “hairless apes” and little brother . he pulled the three of them together still bound to this mindset and powerless.
When it it Castiel itad been DAYS since they had been free so it had been days of an infant in a car no food nor water.
“Gabriel let us go” cas’s voice was shaky
“Remember something.Got caught up in a dream and forgot the important thing didnt you” He had both fire and ice on every word
“Listen here you dick with wings give us the kid” Dean was beyond pissed with himself and the angel
He snapped his fingers to have her in his arms.”oh this kid Me the one that was being fed the wrong food at the wrong time in her life the one who had an ear infection the one you left in a black car under a trench coat.”
“Yes that kid smart ass” dean had daggers in his eyes and a will to punch something or stab it.
All three of them gasp when they saw a small syringe needle and all being pulled from Gabriel's pocket. He ever so smoothly put the needle cover in his mouth and pulled it back It's spinning it on to the floor” Part of your shaving grace was her graceKeeping your sustained.Even though when I got a hold of it I didn't even 30 minutes now you're going to find out what it's like to do with human child a fully human child when I think you have earned the right to raise an angel ,Her grace will be given back and not a moment sooner.I hope this teaches you three a fucking lesson and not only raising a child but you're fucking responsibilities you're too caught up in your dreamland to focus on what actually was that real and what mattered I've known about this kid Was I really thrilled that God gave Castiel a responsibility like this No But here's the thing I tested you and all three of you failed I shouldn't even be giving her back So now you're going to face your consequences until I deem it worthy of getting her grace back.’’He gently put the syringe into one of Adina's veins and pulled back slowly watching as the blue fluid filled the syringeSam looked like he was going to cry because he knew He was part of the problem and he should have thought this one throughCastielWas crying because that was his daughter that was potentially being hur.tNot that she really remember any of it but he didn't like the idea of Gabriel doing anything to her.The second that Gabriel had let them go Dean ran full force with an angel blade right towards him forgetting about the child then his arms. When Castiel threw him to a wall All because he wanted his daughter.
He touched two fingers to her forehead to see that he painted that she had and looked into those beautiful blue eyes and started speaking rapid Enochian saying too her that everything was okay he wasn't going to let anything get heard her ever again.

Love Strikes | Castiel
Tumblr media
A/N: I haven’t seen season 15 yet, I’m on season 13, so no spoilers please.
Warnings: Lucifer/ Casifer, threats, mentions of death, illusions to sex
“Dearie me.” Rowena laughed, inclining (Y/N) to roll her hunter eyes at Crowley’s wicked mother. “Don’t tell me you’re smitten with the angel.”
Sighing, the huntress bowed her head, denying the witch that she was being forced to keep a watch over a simple glance. She knew that the redhead was trying to get under her skin, she was after all the related to the king of hell.
“That is absurd.” Pushing her hair to the side, (Y/N) continued to pace, unsettled by the company she had been roped into having. “Get back to finding Lucifer.”
“It is a shame that Castiel will probably die, he was quite cute. The devil is ruthless, and you’re a Winchester, what do you think he’ll do when he finds you?”
“Is that a threat?” Flaring her nostrils, (Y/N) stepped closer to Rowena, only to notice that her eyes were tainted red. Lucifer was here, oh chuck.
“It’s a promise.” Returning to his vessel of Castiel, Rowena vanished, leaving only Jimmy’s body and the youngest Winchester in the room. It was tense, every step that (Y/N) took back, Lucifer would take one forward.
It was a game of cat and mouse, no guess of whom was playing which role. “Cas, I know that you’re in there. Don’t let him control you, push him out.”
“He already said yes, and although he is not built for my power like your brother was, he will do.”
Sitting up, (Y/N) rubbed her eyes, groaning at the thought of the absurd dream that she had just experienced. It was no secret that she had visions, but it was impossible. They went to Lucifer to help, but they left him in that cage, alone and powerless.
Castiel was sat opposite her, looking at the pages within multiple books. He was doing extensive research.
“Found anything on stopping Amara?” (Y/N) asked hopefully, despite the doubt and sleep in her voice. Cas glanced up, humming as he skimmed over lines and lines of useless literature.
“Nothing.” He sighed, clicking his tongue. But that sound, she recognised it. The angel had never made such a noise, he was polite, and frustratingly quiet sometimes.
There was only one specimen that would attempt and had in the past, to irritate her. And it was the nightmare of many. Another angel that was cast from heaven, another angel that had fought wars and battled with demons.
Lucifer.
“Okay.” (Y/N) nodded, placing her hands on the table, pushing herself up from the chair of the war room. “I need a refill, be back in a moment.” Grabbing her mug, (Y/N) calmly headed for the kitchen, maintaining a steady breath so that the archangel would not notice the rise in it.
She put the ceramic on the counter, heading instantly for the knife draw. Pulling it out, she found the compartment to be empty of her goal. And then she heard footsteps, ones that sounded almost as light as a feather. How ironic.
“Looking for something?” ‘Cas’ leant up against the doorframe, crossed arms and an overly enthusiastic smile on his stolen face.
“No.” Shaking her head and subtly grabbing at her hair, (Y/N) bit her lip, glaring silently at the intruder.
“How was your nap? Dream of anything… specific?” He knew, he must have. Lucifer was prying, dragging his nails slowly and excruciatingly down the chalkboard, trying to claw away at (Y/N)’s naïve façade.
“Actually I did.” The steps that she made were risky, yet she made them anyways. If he were going to kill her, he would have done so already. “It was crazy and so unrealistic, but you were Lucifer, you said yes to him so that we could defeat the darkness. But as I said, that’s just insane, you would never do such a thing, would you Castiel?”
Now (Y/N) was face to face with Lucifer, who proceeded in letting his signature smirk slip right into the foreign place of Cas’ face.
“That is delusional.” He agreed, clearly still going along with the roleplay that he had convinced people to believe. Hs voice had twisted, sounded more… devilish as it may. “I’d never do such a thing, I’m a good angel. If you think otherwise, why don’t you punish me Winchester?”
And all was in the open, and Lucifer allowed his thieved eyes roam up and down (Y/N), checking her out as though she were his prey. It would be no surprise if she were, there had to be some intent in that fried brain of his. He wouldn’t be in the bunker, alone with her otherwise.
Slipping her hand onto his chest, (Y/N) guided him against the wall, her own body keeping him trapped there, if you could call it that. If Lucifer wanted to escape from the corner he had been backed into, he could do so with ease.
“Let my friend go.” At that, Lucifer released a loud bellow that echoed around the room and bounced off of the cupboards.
“Friend. Now that is hilarious.” His warm breath fanned over (Y/N)’s lips, causing her to frown, although she removed to move away from her stoic position. “I’ve found you (Y/N), and you’re not going to get what you want, but I am. So, think of the cloud of darkness, and tell me what you see.”
“Go to hell Lucifer.” The human spat, making the man behind the demons, the hounds, the death of many beloved friends chuckle again.
“Oh darling, I have. And if you don’t do as I ask, then I’ll take you down there with me.” His arm raised, his palm coming to a strike upon (Y/N)’s face, leaving her to fall upon the floor, looking up at him with hatred, yet the attraction remained, considering the vessel.
“It doesn’t work like that I’m afraid.” Sighing, (Y/N) stroked the side of her face that had taken the blow, trying to lessen the burn with her own touch. “And it wouldn’t be my first rodeo in that place, you can’t break me.”
“But I can break the man trapped up here.” Lucifer pointed to his head, indicating that Cas still had some consciousness. It was a threat to whom she cared about most, the angel that had saved her from so many dangerous circumstances. Without him, there would be no her or her brothers, they’d have all met their doom if he hadn’t come when they were in need of him most. And on some occasions, they had. “And that would break your poor little human heart, would it not? Because Castiel isn’t just a friend, I can see into his memories. They prove otherwise.”
=
He was strange, an angel. A while back she would have laughed if someone had told her that they existed, but (Y/N) couldn’t deny it. He had rescued Dean from hell, it was more than a miracle. Her brothers were her world, and for his good deed, she could not help but bizarrely care for the newcomer as well.
“Thankyou Castiel.” She spoke into the night, as she sat herself upon the hood of an old, ran down car, outside of Bobby’s place. Loss was a term that the hunter was not foreign to, both of her parents were gone. And it hurt, but losing Dean was too painful, he was not only a brother to her and Sam, but a mother and a father to the absent ones.
“He has a purpose.” Was the reply after the sound of landing wings. Turning, (Y/N) saw the angel’s vessel stood beside the vehicle, to which she smiled at the sight of him. “Dean could not fulfil it in hell.”
“I know.” She stood, getting a tad cold from the breeze. “But I mean it, truly. No matter the reason you saved him, I still got my brother back. There is nothing I can do to repay you for that, we don’t have much, just each other.”
Walking closer, (Y/N) pressed her lips upon the angel’s cheek, leaving them there for a moment before pulling back. “Goodnight Castiel.”
As the young woman departed, Castiel frowned, touching the part of Jimmy’s face of which she touched. It was the first time a human had had such contact with him, it felt different. He couldn’t place his finger on it, or how he was supposed to have felt.
=
“It’s our last night on earth, what do you want to do then?” Dean asked Cas when he refused to go to a strip club.
“Spend time with your sister.” The angel answered honestly, to which the eldest Winchester sibling frowned, growing not only suspicious but a tiny bit curious. “It will be her last night also.”
“Don’t tell me that you are planning on sleeping with her.” The human sighed to his angelic friend, dreading the answer that he would receive. Of course, Dean had noticed that (Y/N) and Cas had some sort of weird connection, but this was not what he wanted the conclusion to that to be.
“I don’t need to sleep, and if I did, why would I do that with someone else?” Sometimes Castiel was the epidemy of innocence, and that could easily frustrate Dean. However, he was relieved to know that was not where the angel’s mind was at.
“As in sex Cas, with my sister.” He simplified the term for the enochian being, who tilted his head in return.
“Why would I do that? I have no intent to do that with anyone, that is a human process to reproduce, and for pleasure. Neither are my goals.”
=
Everything was white. The walls, the floors, there was no darkness. (Y/N) turned, investigating the apparent office that she was contained in. It was too neat, to spotless to belong to someone on earth.
“You’re awake.” The voice belonged to Castiel. (Y/N) would recognise it anywhere, and so she ignored trying to figure out where in the world she was, and simply asked the juiced up angel.
“Where the hell are we Cas?”
“Heaven.” He answered, his blue eyes raking up her body, attempting to determine her next move. “And you can call me God.”
The hunter frowned at the way her friend was presenting himself. The angel that she knew had no intent for power, for anything other than to make the world a better place. “I was dead, in hell.” She spoke, reminding herself as though it would return her to the eternal nightmare.
“Exactly, you were.” Castiel responded, giving her a sad smile, remembering her death. “But as I said, I am now God, I brought you back. I can do and have whatever I please, and I didn’t want you to be suffering down there, my desire was to have you here beside me so that you can breathe again.”
Her (Y/E/C) eyes gazed up at the angel with wonder, but also suspicion. Once heaven had resented him, casted him out of their barracks, but now here he was, taking over the role of his father.
“Where are Sam and Dean?” She asked her friend, but he shook his head, thinking of how they could not see the same vision that he had been blessed with. He was trying to do good, yet they had an intent to stop him, deny him of this role.
“Alive and safe, with Bobby I believe.” He answered her, before walking closer to her body that was in need of rest. “And you’re here with me, and I won’t let you die again. If I let you go back to that planet, I have a bad feeling that you will.”
“What am I supposed to do up here? You may be God or whatever you claim, but I’m a Winchester, I need to save people, hunt things. That’s all I’ve got as my legacy, and if I die again, it will remain the same. There is nothing more for me than this life.”
“I’m here, and I want you.” Castiel felt invincible, like he could do anything. And surely he could, he was above all, no one could stop him or divert his choices with claimed orders or pitiful, human speeches.
Lightly, he pressed his lips to (Y/N)’s, making her shut her eyes in return. And he yearned for more, his hands slid down to her hips, picking her up and placing her elegantly on the white table. He couldn’t get enough of finally understanding how he felt the first time they had touched.
=
(Y/N)  ran, trying to attract no attention as she hurdled through the never ending forest. This place was inhabited of monsters of all sorts, vampires, werewolves, wendigos. And they all wanted to kill her, even more so, the ones that she had slaughtered.
Her legs refused to slow, even as she came to a clearing that showed a river. That was until she saw a man, sat by it, to which she stumbled at. The chances were, he was another creature that wished to hunt her, but her foot slid, creating a sound of scraping rocks.
The figure stood and turned, revealing a beard, and blue eyes. His blue eyes. Castiel.
“Cas.” She whispered, shocked by the sight of him. Instantly, she took off towards him, running faster than she had for her life. (Y/N) thought she was all alone in this place, but god was she glad to see the angel, even if he wasn’t at his best. “You’re here.” She sighed, throwing her tired arms around his dishevelled form.
After a second, he reciprocated her action, slowly enclosing her shoulders in his gentle and weak grasp. “Where are we?” She asked worriedly, hardly thinking about their past exchanges back when the angel claimed to be his holy father.
“Purgatory.”
=
Humans were strange to observe, but it was even more peculiar to be one. Walking through the bunker, Castiel turned a corner, only to have his body collide with another. A familiar one, (Y/N).
“You’re back.” She spoke as she steadied herself and looked up at his face. However his appearance had changed, quite a bit. There was no trench coat, or button up, or tie. In their place, there were joggers and an old tee.
“Not for long.” He quipped back, feeling relieved for finally having a shower. “I can’t stay.” He put it simply.
“How come?” (Y/N) asked worriedly. Something was different, not only his appearance. He, himself was different, the hunter could sense it.
“Dean said I can’t.” He bowed his head, choosing to respect his friend’s choice. “I should get going.” He replied, going to one of the spare rooms, to grab his stuff.
“Let me come with you.”
=
“Those nights in those motel rooms don’t support your story.” Lucifer remarked, the thought of him knowing, seeing everything made (Y/N) feel sick. It was an absolute invasion of privacy. “It is quite sad though.” The archangel pouted, drawing a tear down Castiel’s face with his finger. “You almost got a happy ending with my little average bro, if he had stayed human, maybe, just maybe you would have escaped this life.”
“That’s not true.” Just the possibility caused pain in her chest, mostly due to the fact that Lucifer was not lying. He was reeling off a chance that she had gotten and missed.
“Don’t lie to yourself.” He cackled. “So, are you going to help me, or am I gonna have to make you?”

Castiel and I have always had a great relationship. Something between Castiel and I clicked, like a lock. Being around Castiel I would say has made me more appreciative of the things around me.
Like for example; Castiel would list off all the stars in the night sky, while we were on a hunt. It was also so refreshing being around him, he had this passion in him like I’d never seen before.
That passion had such a great effect on me. especially when I was around him, it was as if a huge magnet was forcing me to be beside Castiel.
I guess I wouldn’t say that I didn’t love being around Castiel, but he had a way of making me feel nervous and timid. Not that he was a bad person... not that he was a bad angel.
What I’m trying to say is that he had a great effect over my emotions and I knew no matter what that he’d end up finding out eventually.
What may he find out?
Castiel may find out that I see him more as special person in my life, then just a friend. I hate putting titles to things but I think in a situation like these things need titles.
I promise that this will make more sense in just a few moments.
I heard a knock on my door. “Can I come in?” I heard Castiel said through the wood door. A sudden wave of shock rolled through my bones, “Um, sure Castiel.” I said pulling the comforter over my very much covered frame.
“I was wondering if you and I could go look at the stars tonight, Y/n?” Castiel asked, his hand rubbing the back of his neck. Something that he had picked up from Dean.
I set down my book that I had only started reading earlier this morning. “I don’t see why not.”  I said giving him a small smile. His face lite up, those bright baby blue eyes glistening with excitement. A face the reminded me of much I really did enjoy being around Castiel.
The day went on as usual. Dean washing his precious impala “Baby”, Watching whatever Dean watched for fun of course, or eating lots and lots of food. Sam trying to find another hunt, running, or reading through the lore.
I on the other hand really hadn’t left my room since Castiel came in. I had sat there for what seemed like at least twenty minutes. I just stared at the door, thinking of every possible way that this could go wrong.
‘You could say the wrong thing, at the wrong moment. Wear the wrong thing, think you’re getting some sort of sign when in all reality you aren’t’ I was brought out of my thought when I heard another knock at my door. “Come on in.” I spoke
Hoping more than praying that it wasn’t Castiel again. To my surprise it was actually Sam. “So, I might have heard that Castiel and you are going star gazing tonight?” Sam said a little to knowingly.
“Yes, I might be going out with Castiel tonight.” I returned getting out of my bed. I waved Sam in to my room. He shut the door behind him and sat down in my desk chair.
“Well let’s just say that this conversation never happened” Sam said raising his eyebrows. “O-okay.” I said with a confused tone. “So Castiel and I are good buddies you know?’ “Hmm” I said. ‘He might have told me that he like it when you wear... when you wear that blue flower shirt of yours.”
I guess I was giving him a very confused look. The next words to fall from my mouth were “Huh?” “Actually, ignore what I just said, he just wants you to be happy and according to Castiel. You are the happiest when you’re wearing that flower shirt.” Sam said softly clapping his hands.
“Okay I can be happy” I said, smiling a little wider than before. “Well, I’ll let you get to the rest of the day, Y/n.” Sam said sitting up from the desk chair, kissing my temple hastily before walking out of my bedroom.
Once I was alone, I turned into a giddy teen. Jumping up and down squealing at the top of my lungs. I eventually ended up falling on my back onto my bed. I couldn’t express to you what I was feeling even if my life depended on it.
A few hours had passed, and I had taken a very long shower, but not for naughty reasons. I had taken my time with my makeup. Which I don’t say so myself I was getting so much better at doing, picked out my clothes things that made me feel happy and a bad-ass bitch.
Just as I was putting my sweater on I again for the third time this glorious day I heard a knock at my room door. “You can come in.” I said my back was facing the door, but I could smell was sugar cookies, and a hint of lavender. turning around after i had slipped my arms through.
There I saw Castiel standing in my doorway, not wearing his normal trench coat and suit. Which was odd at first, but what he did have on was much better. He was wearing a light blue button up shirt that was under a dark blue sweater.
It was like looking at someone completely different. I’m saying that I wouldn’t mind Castiel wearing more ‘normal’ like clothing more often. “May we?” Castiel said reaching his hand out to take mine.
“Yes, we may.” I said placing my hand in his, shit man his hands are so soft. As we walked out of my room Castiel shut my bed room door. As we walked past the kitchen door, and past the library, Sam gave me a short smile.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Dean throw a pair of keys towards Castiel which caught them. ‘Be safe you two.” I heard Dean say. That was odd, not teasing, no asking where we were going, no... no nothing.
“I grabbed a blanket for our gazing at the stars tonight.” Castiel said still holding my hand. At this point I was wondering if he’d forgotten that he was holding my hand.
Castiel walked me over to the impala. I gave him a questionable look, wondering why and how Dean would ever let Castiel drive ‘Baby’. He walked me over to passenger side, opening my door, and then shutting it for me. This entire thing was giving me butterflies in my stomach.
No man that I had ever been around did that for me. I mean yes, the two Winchester boys were great, but again there was something about Castiel. The way he was just such a gentleman.
I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard the driver's side door slam against its frame. The start f the engine and we were out of the garage. Gone and Castiel driving to where ever he wanted.
Castiel quickly realized that we were listening to Dean's music, so a few changes to the radio and we were listening to some classical music. I won’t say that it set a mood for the rest of the night, but I’d like to think that was what he was trying to do.
It was actually a short drive only about ten minutes from the hidden bunker. Castiel parked the impala on a nice clearing of grass. He looked over at me giving a cute smile his dimples showing. Which in turn made me smile. He shut the impala off, and got out. Not before telling me “Wait, Y/n.” So that’s what I did.
I watched Castiel through the rear-view mirror. Open the trunk, pull out two blankets. One look much larger than the other, but that doesn’t matter. I watched as Castiel rounded the Impala and just as he was in front of the car, he throws the bigger blanket out.
Then placed down the other blanket. When Castiel was finished he walked over to my side opening my door. Giving me a hand with getting out. Castiel walked over to the area he had set up. I sat down and then Castiel did.
I had never been this close to Castiel before he radiated so much heat. Castiel started rapidly firing off all the stars in the sky. “This star right here’ he said pointing in some random direction. ‘This star was the one that was out the night you were born Y/n.” He finished; a smile could be seen on his face.
“Really?” I asked surprised that he knew that. “Yes, actually it was the biggest in the sky that night. Imagine Y/n the night that you were born this star right here was a lighthouse. That huge beam of light. It honestly for a few moments blinded us angels in heaven.”
Castiel looked over at me. I could feel my face getting hotter and hotter by the second. “Are you okay, Y/n? You seem to be very warm.” Castiel said. His hand falling to my forehead like he was checking my temperature. “I’m fine Castiel, I just... I didn’t think that you knew all this stuff about me.” I said a little timid, messing with the hem of the sweater.
“I won’t say that I know everything about you Y/n, but I’d like to learn more about you.” Castiel hand grazing over my cheek. “Really Castiel?” I asked slowing building the courage to look him in his baby blue eyes. “Of course, Y/n. You’re the brightest star, and I want to learn more about you every day.”
I couldn’t help but to smile, now choosing to look up at Castiel. Looking down at me Castiel gave me a soft lipped kiss on my other cheek. As Castiel kissed my cheek he whispered in my ear “I think I’m falling.” A chill running down my spine.
Castiel left my cheek, and his hand fall yet again down to my open hand. His fingers grabbing to hold onto my pinky, so his thumb could gently graze over the top of my hand.
I leaned forward, catching his lips, in a gentle needy kiss. Like a dam had finally broke, and it was finally okay to feel every raw emotion. When I was very much in need of air, I slipped away and whispered in his. “It’s okay to fall, because at least we will be falling together.”
“Can I ask you something, Castiel?” I spoke. “Hmm, Of course Y/n.” Castiel responded. “When you did start feeling this way, you know about me?” I said, falling back into my timid and shy self. He gave me that face that told me ‘I’m thinking’ only a few moments passed before I received an answer from Castiel.
“I’d say it was the day that I finally met you. You shined just bright as the star the sky did. You were like a magnet for me. I just wanted to spend the rest of time with you. You are shy now, but when we first met. You, Y/n were a forced to reckoned with.” I smiled, and fell into Castiel arms.
“You are the reason why I love humanity. You make me want to be more human. You make me want to thrive. You show me that not everything is hard to finally have. You showed me long ago that you don’t have to be prefect.” Castiel said.
I started to laugh and cry into Castiel chest. “Are you alright, Y/n?  Did I say or do something?” Castiel worried voice coming out. I lifted myself from Castiel very warm chest. “You didn’t do anything wrong, Castiel. You just made me feel nice, extremely good for the first time in a very long time. So, thank you Castiel.” I said, as Castiel wiped my happy tears away.
“Well, like I said Y/n. I want to learn more about, I want to be there to protect you. You and I for the rest of time.” Castiel said winking at me.

Heavenly Christmas
another present for you? 👀
Tumblr media
Castiel Novak x Reader
No Pronouns used!!
Summary: Castiel experiences Christmas traditions for the first time with the Winchester brothers and the reader. As they decorate the tree and exchange gifts, Castiel learns about the holiday spirit. The story culminates in a magical moment under the mistletoe, where Castiel and the reader share a sweet kiss, making it a Christmas to remember for everyone involved.
Heavenly Christmas
It was Christmas Eve, and the bunker was adorned with twinkling lights and the scent of freshly baked cookies wafted through the air. You were busy decorating the Christmas tree with Sam and Dean, the festive atmosphere filling your heart with warmth.
Suddenly, the familiar sound of fluttering wings echoed through the room, and there stood Castiel, his trench coat slightly dusted with snow. He looked at the tree with curiosity, his blue eyes reflecting the lights.
"What is the purpose of this tree?" Castiel asked, his voice as serious as ever.
You chuckled, handing him a string of lights. "It's a Christmas tree, Cas. It's a tradition. People decorate it to celebrate the holiday season."
Castiel examined the lights in his hands, then glanced at you. "I am not familiar with Christmas traditions. How does one properly celebrate?"
Sam grinned. "Well, we exchange gifts, have a big feast, and spend time with loved ones. And tomorrow, we'll open presents under the tree."
Castiel nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "I would like to participate in this celebration."
As the night progressed, the four of you decorated the tree together, sharing stories and laughter. Castiel listened intently, absorbing the concept of Christmas with genuine interest.
Later, you all gathered around the fireplace, enjoying the warmth it provided. Castiel sat next to you, his gaze fixed on the flickering flames.
"Hey, Cas," you said, handing him a beautifully wrapped box. "Merry Christmas."
Castiel took the gift, examining it carefully. With a nod, he began to unwrap it, revealing a cozy scarf.
"I noticed you don't get cold, but I thought it might be a nice addition to your wardrobe," you explained.
Castiel smiled, a rare expression that lit up the room. "Thank you, Y/N. I appreciate the sentiment."
The evening continued with laughter, music, and shared moments that made it a truly magical Christmas. As the clock struck midnight, you found yourself under the mistletoe with Castiel.
He looked at the plant curiously, then back at you. "What is the significance of this?"
"It's a tradition," you replied, smiling. "If two people stand under the mistletoe, they have to kiss."
Castiel nodded, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to your lips. It was a soft, sweet moment that seemed to pause time, creating a memory you would cherish for Christmases to come.
In that moment, surrounded by friends and love, you couldn't help but feel that this Christmas was truly heavenly.
And so, in the warmth of the bunker, with snow falling gently outside, you celebrated a Christmas that would forever be etched in your heart, filled with love, laughter, and the unexpected joy of sharing traditions with an angel named Castiel.

Bumblebee?
Tumblr media
Castiel X reader (fluff)
It had been a few days since Castiel had been home. It sucked I've been missing my innocent angel. I had been home sick after he left to go do heavenly duties. I had been sleepy, dizzy and have been puking. I had laid on the couch just doing nothing and that's when I felt it. The presence of another being near me. "Hello darling" Cas said kissing me on the top of my head. He then stood straight up and stiff. "Have you been cheating on me? As humans say" Cas says with a sad face and tilting his head confused. "Angel I'd never do that to you, plus last time I checked you can read minds to tell if I'm lying" I say grabbing for his hand. He allows me to hold it. "Yes I'm aware of my abilities but we agreed no powers on you, but I feel another presence" Castiel says looking around. "Well for starters I'm not feeling well so I guess what your sensing is my illness" I let out before I puke in my puke bucket. "Let me heal you just this once?" He says with worry in his eyes. "Fine only because I love you and have been like this for days" I say sitting up. He puts his hand out and puts it on my forehead. "Feeling any better sweetie" he asks. "Not really" I look at him eyebrow raised. "I'm gonna see what's wrong then. Bumblebee?" He says. "Bumblebee? Cas really" I let out a sigh. "No bumblebee, as in I'm gonna be a dad, you have a nephilim growing in you" he smiles and lays a hand on my stomach.

Castiel x Reader- Advice
Tumblr media
Castiel x Reader- Advice
Request- Henlo🥰 I really love your work🥺 it’s super cute!! You are very talented!! I was wondering if you could do a fic between Castiel and Reader where she accidentally confessed their love to him and he doesn’t really know how to react so he asks Dean what to do and he says some very bad advice and it makes the situation worse but then, surprisingly Lucifer gives him advice that works! (Sorry i know it’s Long) 🥰 don’t worry if you’re too busy :)
Warnings: Nothin much’
Words: 1210
A/N- Thanks Anon for requesting this, sorry I couldn’t get it out sooner. I loved writing it! As always, my requests are always open. Love you lovelies!
"Dean!" You yelled across the bunker hall, waiting for his response.
"Yeah?" He yelled back, you went to find him in the common room, playing with some knife that Sam had wanted to research. You chuckled quietly at the display of his "manliness" which consisted of a blue bathrobe draped over him whilst he held the knife like a fencing sword.
"Can I use these?" You asked, holding up a pair of old black headphones Dean never used, he nodded,
"Yeah, I don't need em' anymore." You shook your head and went back to your room, plugging the headphones into your phone and listening to your favorite playlist. The songs played over and over again whilst you talked to yourself, you had the volume up pretty high so you couldn't head yourself, but it was always something you liked to do. Thinking aloud was your way of verbalizing your thoughts to help them make more sense, your emotions were pretty out of wack. Ever since you had met the angel Castiel, and damn if that wasn't almost a year ago. Castiel and Dean had been inseparable, but he still came to you for advice and just to hang out sometimes. It was nice knowing you had an angel watching over you, literally.
Man I love Castiel
Another song started and you hummed to it, singing a version of it but changing the lyrics to Cas. You said to yourself
I love Castiel, I wonder if he likes me back?
You argued with yourself, going with the pros and cons, and trying to figure out what the angel was thinking. You looked up from your bed to see that Castiel was just standing over you, wide-eyed.
"Cas!" You shook your head to make sure that you weren't dreaming.
"What the hell?" He didn't say anything but,
"You like me?" He flapped away, you were left to think.
Oh no, now you've really fucked things up this time
Castiel had gone to Dean, asking him millions of questions, after all, he had never experienced this feeling before.
"Dean?" He put down the knife he was still playing with,
"Yeah Cas?" Castiel sat down next to him in the bunker,
"Y/N, she likes me." Dean snickered
"Oh Cas, I know" Cas looked at him and raised a brow, Dean laughed,
"It's pretty obvious" Dean got up and went over to the kitchen, Cas followed, whispering,
"Dean, what do I do?" Dean smiled,
"Well Cas, you've come to the right place. I am an expert in women, first, I gotta ask you. Do you like her back?" Castiel nodded,
"Well then, I'm gonna teach you something" Castiel cocked his head and raised a brow.
"It's called reverse psychology, so basically you're going to ignore her until she sees that she needs you." Dean leaned back in his chair, satisfied with his advice. Castiel said to Dean,
"Are you sure?" Dean nodded,
"You'll be fine Cas" Castiel did what Dean said, and flapped back to the middle of nowhere.
It had been days and days without any word of Cas. When you had asked Dean he just shrugged his shoulders, you suspected he had something to do with it. Finally, he flapped back, over a week later, and when you went to talk to him he just ignored you.
"Dean, I found a case for you, one about a werewolf not too far away, you should go check it out, I'll have Sam tell you more about it."
"Cas!" You yelled to him, he looked at you and then flapped away.
What the hell? You thought, why wasn't he paying any attention to you? He must not like you...
You went to your room and cried.
You cried a lot. Your heart was breaking.
Why the fuck did I have to go fall in love with an angel who doesn't even understand what love is? You cried into your pillow, not noticing the flap of wings that had appeared. Castiel looked to you and then furrowed his brow. You were crying, over him? He had felt your sadness and immediately went to help. He had to get some advice, a crying human and Castiel never went together. He only had one place to go.
Hell.
Lucifer was the most handsome angel in the garrison, as most said, and it was to no surprise that he had a way of seducing other people to do his bidding. Castiel wasn't there to find out about that. He needed advice, and Lucifer was the one to have it.
"Lucifer?" Castiel yelled into the cage, his brother answered.
"Yes, brother?" Lucifer's eyes glowed red.
"I need your advice Lucifer, about a girl..." Lucifer laughed,
"Little Castiel has finally got himself a girl, oh what could you possibly need, do you need to know how to have sex? Or how to kiss?" Castiel butted in,
"No, I need to know how to tell her I love her, Dean gave me bad advice. Lucifer scoffed and said, no shit under his breath.
"Well, on one condition." Castiel groaned,
"What is it Lucifer?" Lucifer chuckled and then continued, talking in a drawn-out fashion.
"Promise me that if anything happens to me brother, and you have to choose sides, choose me." Castiel nodded,
"You're my brother, as long as you have the correct morals, I don't understand why I wouldn't." He paused and then added,
"You and Gabriel were always my favorite," Lucifer smiled in the cage, a true smile, not one he often held. Castiel smiled as well.
"As for the advice," Lucifer started,
"Tell her what you truly feel about her, girls love when guys are sensitive" Lucifer put a thumb to his chin and then thought some more,
"I know you don't quite have a heart, but feel from inside you. Your mind, your thoughts, tell her everything you've ever wanted to, tell her, most importantly. That you love her." Castiel nodded, and Lucifer continued,
"Well Cassie-boy, I'll let you go, I have a feeling it'll be a while before I get another chance to make it outta here. Even though I hate the entire human race, you still manage to have good taste." Castiel laughed and flew off, back to his earthly realm.
Castiel flapped into your room without warning, you squeaked and waited for a response.
"Y/N, I need to tell you something..." You paused, debating whether or not to argue with him or not. You decided not to, how could you argue with your favorite angel?
"I love you... I really do, I've loved you since I've met you, and I didn't even know what love felt like until then. Dean gave me bad advice, I'm sorry for ignoring you. I hope you understand." You immediately ran up to him and bear-hugged him, his tall body swooped over yours and engulfed you in warmth. It was amazing to feel loved, absolutely amazing. Like a summer breeze on the oceanfront, easily seen yet unbelievably pure, untouched, unbridled love and affection. It was perfect. You pulled away and kissed him, he kissed back and it was like something that had been missing for eternity was finally fulfilled.
Your angel loved you, and you loved your angel.

“Dean.” The angel's voice rang out through the library. “Yes Cas?” Dean asked, not raising his head from the book he was reading. “I need advice.” Castiel replied, taking a seat beside him. “Sure. What’s up?” Dean put the book down and rested his head on his hand. “I - I’m feeling weird.” The angel told him. Dean gave him a confused look and Cas went red. “Around y/n. I feel strange.” He said. Dean still wasn’t getting it. “Around y/n?” He asked. Castiel nodded. “Like, how?” Dean said.
“Like, I get nervous. I get anxious that I’m going to do something wrong or weird. My heart beats really fast, or it feels like it beats really fast. And I don’t know why.” Castiel stated. Dean smiled. “Oh I think I know what’s wrong.” He chuckled. “What? What is it Dean? Can it be fixed? Am I sick?” Castiel’s face was full of worry. “No. No you’re not sick. You like her. Like, really like her. Like, you have a crush on her.” Dean explained. Castiel nodded. “And how do I make the weird feeling go away?” He asked. Dean grinned again. “You ask her out. Or you know, kiss her. Or have sex with her…” he trailed off. “I don’t think y/n would like to do any of those things.” The angel muttered.
“Of course she would! Listen, I know y/n. She’s quite the romantic. Do something sweet for her. Like buy her chocolates or write her a poem. Or um.. flowers! Y/n loves flowers!” Dean exclaimed. Cas tilted his head to the side. “Really? Flowers? Why?” He asked. The hunter rolled his eyes. “It’s how people show their affection for each other. They buy each other flowers. Well, normally the guy would buy the girl flowers. Or the girl buy the girl, or the boy buy the boy, there’s LGBTQ relationships as well.. but anyways - trust me Cas. Buy her flowers. A lot of them. Especially roses.” Dean informed him. Castiel nodded and smiled. “Okay. Flowers it is.” He said.
“Hello?” Castiel said as he entered the store. The shopkeeper was a woman that looked like she was in her late fifties. She grinned as he entered. “Hello there! You here to buy flowers I assume?” The angel nodded and returned the smile. The shop was small and filled to the brim with every flower Castiel could dream of. “Well who’s the lucky lady? Or lucky man? We don’t discriminate here.” She asked. Cas walked up to the counter and looked at the small pots of lavender and basil around her desk. “Her name’s y/n.” He said.
“Y/n? Pretty name. She your girlfriend?” The lady asked, looking through her stash of flowers behind the desk. The angel shook his head. “No. But I hope she will be after this.” He confessed. The lady chuckled. “Ah. To be young and in love again. I just wish my Matthew would buy me flowers. The lazy bastard won’t even clean up after himself.” She said. Castiel gave her a confused look. “If you don’t like him then why are you with him?” He asked. “Oh darling. Sometimes love isn’t roses and lilies and those movies where the couple kisses out in the rain. Real love, real love is compromise. Real love is finding an equal balance between friend, and lover. I just hope your y/n is that.” She said wisely. Castiel nodded.
“Anyways. Enough with the chit chat. What flowers do you want?” She asked, suddenly remembering why he was there. “Well. My friend Dean said I should get her roses. But I know her favourite flower is a lotus. Is it possible to get both?” The angel said hopefully. She gave him a wide smile. “Of course! Hell, I’ll even throw in some water lilies, they’re my favourite.” Castiel thanked her as she made the large bouquet of flowers, wrapping it with a lovely blue ribbon. She took out a little tag and scribbled something on it. “Let her read this. Don’t read it yourself okay?” She instructed. Castiel nodded. She handed him the flowers and he thanked her again. “How much are they?” He asked.
“On me darlin’. Just promise me you’ll come back and tell me all about your little y/n okay?” She said. “Alright.” The angel said with a large smile. “I never got your name!” She called as he was walking out the door. “It’s Castiel. And yours?” He replied. She laughed. “Judy. Judy Rose. Have a good day Castiel! Y/n would be a foolish young lady to turn you down!”
Castiel sauntered into the bunker, flowers in hand. Sam and Dean were both in the library. “Wow Cas. Those are beautiful.” Sam remarked as he entered. “Yes they are.” He agreed. Dean gave him a whistle. “When I said buy flowers, you really went the whole way didn’t you?” He said. Cas nodded. “Only the best for y/n.” He muttered. “Awww look at you.” Dean teased. The angel rolled his eyes at him before asking where y/n was. “She’s in her room.” Sam replied.
Castiel reached y/n’s door. His anxiety was creeping up again. Hesitantly, he knocked on the door. “Who is it!?” Her voice called from inside. “It’s me!” Castiel called back. He heard some shuffling and then the door swung open. “Hey Cas - oh my god.” Y/n said as she saw the flowers. “Castiel. Those are beautiful who are they for?” If he hadn’t felt nervous before, he certainly did now. “They’re for you.” He muttered. “Wait - are you serious? For me? Flowers? No one has ever bought me flowers before.” she said in awe. “The lady said you had to read the tag. She told me I wasn’t allowed.” He told her. Y/n nodded and picked the tag from off one of the roses.
“Dear y/n. Your guy here, he’s a keeper. You don’t want to lose him. Trust me. A real angel this one is. Came all the way here just to buy you flowers. Knew your favourites too. Wouldn’t stop going on about you either. Invite me to the wedding alright? From - Ms. Rose at the flower shop.” Y/n read out loud. Cas saw tears in her eyes. “Are you sad? Why are you crying? Did I do something wrong?” Castiel asked worriedly. He felt his stomach drop. She shook her head and looked up at him. “No no not at all. I’m just so happy.” She said, wrapping her arms around him and burying her face in his trenchcoat. Placing the flowers on a nearby table, he held her. His arms curled around her middle and he rested his chin on her head. He smiled to himself. He had to thank Ms. Rose for this later.

What You Have is Faith (1/?)
a/n: The beginning of a new mini series! I actually edited this twice (go me! I hate editing so I don’t really do it!) and let me tell you, I actually feel better about my writing now. Who knew? This has been beta read by my dear friend, Alex. Thanks Alex!
A simple vampire hunt could never change your life, right?
Pairing: none... yet
Word Count: 1580
It was a delicate task- get in, take out the 6 vampires yourself while not dying or being turned in the process. Something about hunting vamps always made your adrenaline pump. Maybe it was because they were your first hunt at 17, or maybe it was something else. To you, hunting was all about taking the power away from creatures who used their ability to hurt humans.
You tiptoed into the abandoned house, your katana gripped tightly in your hands. Most hunters preferred having a machete to take out vampires, but you found yourself more effective with distance between you and your prey. The vampires had found themselves a good house to hold up in. Based on the chipped paint and rotting floorboards, it was probably built in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s, making it a fairly creaky place. This allowed your targets to detect anyone entering the property just by noise. It made your job harder, but it caused you to feel more determined.
You stood by the front door, your katana held by your side with a tight grip. In front of you, there was a hallway to the left and a staircase to the right. The hallway led into the kitchen, which connected with the rest of the rooms that were to your left. There was a living room and a dining room, as well as a bathroom connected off the kitchen.
Even though you heard the vampires conversing, that wouldn’t stop you. You entered the room closest to you- the living room. There were 2 of the creatures sitting across from each other, playing a game of chess as a dead body laid on the floor. In one swift motion, you detached both their heads from their body with your sword, and their heads fell to the ground. The thump alerted the rest of the nest, as two more vampires made their way into the living room.
The adrenaline was coursing through your veins as muscle memory kicked in. Without hesitation, you ran towards the one vamp who was standing in the doorway between the living room and entryway. You removed his head before running to the other, repeating the same action on her. You heard two more vamps trot down the stairs. You quickly moved to stand by the doorway where you had just killed one of the creatures. You pressed your back against the wall and waited for the others to arrive. Once they were standing above the dead body, you jumped out from behind the wall and removed their heads in one motion with your sword.
Their heads rolled on the ground like bowling balls, blood trickling on the floor as they moved. You searched the rest of the house carefully, as you had to make sure it was clear before you left. As you exited the house, you heard an engine roar from the driveway. You had researched the nest thoroughly, and you were sure there was only 6 in the group.
You had been tracking the nest since it first appeared in northern Washington. The nest was originally compiled of 15 vampires, but they split up after a fight about who deserved to lead the nest. Other hunters were tracking the larger group, but you decided to track the smaller group that had the newborns in it.
The car that you heard approached the house and parked a sleek black 67’ Impala. You were envious, your 2010 Prius had nothing on that- besides the gas mileage.
The two men exited the car and grabbed some bags from the trunk. You snuck back inside and tiptoed to the kitchen. You pressed your back against the wall right next to the doorway, then waited.
“You check downstairs, I’ll check up,” said one of the men when they entered the house, his voice gruff. As the footsteps got closer to the kitchen, you gripped your sword tight. The tall man walked into the kitchen with a machete in his hand. You jumped out and kicked the blade from his hand, then pressed him against the wall with your sword pointed to his neck.
“Who are you?” you whispered.
“Same as you, I’m assuming,” he struggled. You squinted at him, but he did have the hunter appearance.
“Prove it.”
He reached for the collar of his shirt and pulled it towards his shoulder, exposing an anti-possession tattoo on his pec. You lowered your sword to your side and let go of the man.
“Precautions,” you shrugged, then walked back into the entryway, the taller man following you.
“It’s clear!” you heard a different man yell from upstairs. He retreated downstairs shortly after, and saw you and the other man standing next to each other.
“Who are you?” he said, raising a gun up at you.
“Obviously one of you so put that damn gun down,” you snapped.
He put the gun down, then looked in the living room, seeing the 3 dead bodies lying on the ground. The man who searched the downstairs wasn’t as shocked, as he had already seen the mess you made.
“Wow,” the man from upstairs said. He was very attractive. He had shorter hair that was longer than the other guys, and it was a beautiful dark blonde or light brown color. His eyes were like an emerald, and the beauty in his face was completed with a slight trace of freckles and short stubble.
“Impressed?” you giggled at him.
“Pshh, no,” he defended. He was definitely impressed, even if he wouldn’t admit it. “I’m Dean, and this is my brother Sam.”
You looked up to him with wide eyes. “The Winchester brothers, huh? Not everyday you get to meet a celebrity.”
“You know of us?” Sam questioned. You didn’t know this at the time, but Sam thought of every single bad thing he had done since hunting with his brother again. He thought of the demon blood and Lucifer, then of his soulless journey and leviathans, and more. You could see the dread and regret in his eyes, so you didn’t want to make things worse. You were a hunter, but you still knew how to read social cues, something many hunters didn’t know how to do.
“You boys are quite the treat,” you smirked, then started to pile up the dead bodies. “I’m Y/N.”
“Alright, Y/N, what are we doing?” Dean asked, helping you.
“We gotta burn them, and I’m sure as hell not dragging 6 bodies and carrying 6 heads out to the fireplace. The house will just have to do,” you chirped up.
Once you finished with lugging around dead bodies, you went to your car to grab a gas can from the back, but Dean followed you. You unlocked your car and grabbed the can, as Dean stood just inches from you.
“Something you want, hot stuff?” you flirted as you turned to face him.
Dean was taken aback by your comment. No one had been this up front about flirting with him before, but if he was being honest, it was a nice change. “You want to get dinner after this? Not a lot of time to talk after we burn them, so figured we should talk now.”
“Depends,” you said, setting the gas can down onto the ground. “Is it a date?”
“Do you want it to be a date?” Even though it was dark out, you could still see the smirk spread across his face.
“No,” you replied, then picked up the gas can. “Where are we meeting?”
“Diner about 4 miles from here on the main road?” he questioned.
“Alright, I will see you both there,” you wiggled your eyebrows at him, then walked back to the house. Once you were in the living room, you poured gasoline over the mass grave of vampires. When you were satisfied, you lit the match and threw it onto the pile. The three of you walked out of the burning house and headed towards your car. Both cars peeled out of the mile long driveway, and made your way towards the diner.
After you arrived, you parked your car and wiped the dried blood off your face with some baby wipes. Sam knocked at your car window and you flicked him off, then rolled it down.
“You know, Sam, some of us actually did work tonight and can’t go into a public place with blood all over,” you scolded and he held his arms up in surrender. You heard Dean laugh from the drivers side of the car.
“We’ll meet you in,” he replied, then walked away. You finished cleaning yourself off and threw on a leather jacket over your flannel, hiding your blood stained shirt. You reached into the backseat and pulled out a pair of white converse you replace your brown utility boots. You looked into the rearview mirror and noticed something was missing. You decided to pop on a layer of mascara when something caught your eye.
There was a squad car parked on the street, with its lights flashing. You observed closely and saw that a police officer was walking both Sam and Dean out in handcuffs, then stuffed them in the back of the car.
“Those suckers,” you laughed to yourself. You knew they were probably caught for the fire, but you still wanted to get to know them. You decided you would let them sit for the night, then pick them up in the morning.

Imagine Dean Winchester picking you up drunk.
It was three a.m and the party was over. I was as drunk as a skunk. I called Dean to pick me up of course. He was kind of my personal chauffeur now to be honest. I don't think he minded though. Dean was one of those guys who would to anything just to see me happy. I loved him for that, even though sometimes he babied me.
Dean's black impala pulled up next to me abruptly.
"Y/N are you good?" He chuckled. I was never gonna live this down. I couldn't even walk in a straight line. He had to carry me to the car.
"Thanks baby, I.. love....you," I struggled to say as sleep invaded my systems. Of course I fell asleep in the passenger seat.
