It wasn’t as if you were new to the job; you had previously worked some years as a bar tender for a pretty well-established club, it paid well and managed to help pay for your rent and utility bills for most of your higher education years. However, all the built up stress and sleepless nights finally caught up to you. And you found yourself repeating a year, meaning that you needed to pay for your own tuition this year atop all the other monthly bills and necessities you keep up with. Perhaps it was the universe telling you that you needed to stop and change the direction of your life — you needed to choose an easier path, a doable path. But you were stubborn and also quite the optimist. So you kept at it, determined to finish what you started and earn your degree.

Yes, it was a let down but you were still breathing. Life just gets hard sometimes.

Thankfully, your past experience and phenomenal recommendation letter from your previous manager earned you another bar tending job at a very elite club, where tips were more than generous, considering the clientele composed primarily of the privileged class, some with multiple businesses under their belts, some who were phenomenal investors and some living off their parents’ money. You didn’t care to look too much into it, you were there to work and you were going to work hard and honestly.

The patrons surprisingly had very similar tastes and so, you fond yourself making the same types of drinks repeatedly. It made the job a lot easier and you were able to focus more on your delivery and interaction with customers, leading to more tips. Times were rough after having to accept defeat with your studies and repeating a year with your own funding but things were looking up. If you keep at it, you’ll make it out alive.

Your only complaint was the dress code. Make up was advised with a bold red lip but must be kept simple. You felt like a showgirl of some kind, squeezed into a high collar, white dress that came down to your mid thigh and with a low-cut, open back. The sleeves aren’t as long as you would like but, at least, you were permitted to use black kitten heel court shoe pumps as opposed to stilettos — your only saving grace, along with the higher salary and generous tips.

“Looks like we have a newbie working the bar,” Sirius points out, drawing all attention to your lively figure as you served drinks with a sweet smile and airy voice. A hum of curiosity vibrates through Remus’ chest and up to his lips at the sight of you, “certainly easy on the eyes, huh?” the tattooed, right-hand comments again as he looks towards the head of the table where Remus holds up his glass of Negroni.

“Very… innocent— a sweet, pretty, little thing,” James comments on Remus’ other side, which Peter grunts at in agreement as he takes a sip of his whiskey-sour.

“Looks like she doesn’t belong,” Peter nods before smirking and letting out a light laugh. The domino effect had James and Sirius laughing too as Remus smirks behind his glass before proceeding to down the rest of his drink.

“Exactly your type, eh? Moony?”

Sirius’ teasing comment is ignored. Instead, Remus calls for there server and orders another drink with an additional request that only confirms his smirking friend’s disregarded statement, “Have the new bartender personally deliver my drink for me as well,”

There was no higher authority that could dismiss the club owner’s personal request.

It was a strange request but you steeled your nerves and asked your fellow bartender to minister your unattended station while you made quick work on the order. It wasn’t unusual to receive requests like this from an isolated table that had privacy curtains for convenience. However, it was usually for drinks that you could make a show out of like a Holy Water cocktail, a Phoenix cocktail and even a Dragon’s Blood cocktail — a performance that you liked partaking in for the flammable aspect. But this was a Negroni. A cocktail of equal parts gin, saccharine vermouth and bitter Italian Campari. It’s a very egalitarian drink that was enjoyed by everyone, men and women alike, simple but elegant and definitely didn’t require a performance. Despite the odd summons, you were eager to fulfil your curiosity for who the client may be.

With a professional smile, you place refined mix in the middle of your circular tray with it’s classic orange garnish and set off to the table. The standby server, who made the order, saw your approach and quickly announced your arrival through the small front opening, momentarily disappearing into the shadow of the curtains. He reappears a moment later and pulls the heavy drapes fully apart, to reveal the guests from beneath the, once, opaque shadows.

To say that you were stunned was an understatement.

It was pure luck that you didn’t stutter in your stride and spill the cocktail prematurely. At the table was seated four men, all dressed in suits and ties that were in various states of disorder. Among their collection of suits, you could spot Armani and Tom Ford, however, you were sure that their unconventional styles were not the way those suits were intended to be worn.

One man with long, midnight-black hair and paper-pale skin had an array of mismatching tattoos littering both arms, revealed to you by his lack of a suit jacket and rolled-up sleeves. Another wore cute circular glasses and a cheeky grin with a suit jacket but no button up shirt and his chiseled upper body on full display. The last was a dirty blonde with piercing eyes and a deceivingly boyish smile. He had his ankle propped up on his opposite knee and several buttons undone where a tie should have been fastened over, his sleeves also rolled up as his suit jacket lay beside him.

It was the man at the head of the table, however, who stole your attention. If you had to guess who ordered such a simple but elegant drink, it would have to be him. He had his suit jacket draped over his broad shoulders and also had several of his top buttons undone, revealing some faded scars marked across his toned chest. His neat brunette hair and kind brown eyes gave him a deceivingly gentle appearance but his close company revealed a duplicity that caught and tensed your nerves.

You ignored the creeping goosebumps that prickled your skin, down from your toes all the way up to your ears.

Just do your job…

“Gentlemen,” you addressed kindly with a slight tilt of your head, which they acknowledged with their own hums of acknowledgement, their eyes lighting up in subtle surprise at your actions, “I have an order for a Negroni,” you raise your tray with the drink and scan the four for some indication as to who the order belonged to.

“That would be for me,” just as you suspected, it was the brunette with the kindest eyes but also the most ominous air. His voice is a deep and smooth lullaby, patient with it’s seduction on your senses. It was a trap that you resisted but are so hopelessly tempted to fall into, “Thank you, sweetheart,” he meets your eyes as you lower the drink into his large, outstretched hand. You notice how his knuckles and fingers are littered with scars also, some fresh, some faded with time and some hidden behind luxurious rings. Nevertheless…

Once you were out of earshot, Remus turns to his closest friends and most trusted colleagues. They all share a look, one that conveys a unanimous thought. It isn’t long before their agreement manifests into knowing smiles and a ring of laughter shared between them.

“Don’t get greedy now, Moony,” Peter chimes in as Sirius throws his head back with a barking laugh.

“That’s not gonna stop him Wormtail, you know that; she’s a rare one,”

“So what’s the plan, bossman?” James asks with a raised brow as he brings his drink up to his lips.

Remus doesn’t answer right away, he simply requests that the curtain remain open so he can fix his fond gaze on you for the remainder of the evening. The group already knew what to do and sat at the edge of their seats, awaiting orders eagerly despite their slack shoulders and composed expressions. Only they were able to observe the shift in the air between them; it became charged as soon as you entered their circle and slowly started accelerating, parallel to the climbing affection in Remus’ eyes as he watches you smile at customers while making their drinks.

He takes a singular sip of his Negroni, bitterly sweet with a citrus edge.

Heaven in a glass. And made by an angel.

“I want a background check and profile put together immediately,” Remus finally orders, “I want to know everything there is to know about her,”

hey im new to barca and i was wondering who the friend groups are on the team? like which players in the team are closer? thank you so much i love your page!

thanks anon! 🌺 oooh, that's an interesting question, and i have to say with a huge caveat, that we don't really know the players personally and this is all based on social media, which is only a snapshot of life. the team as a whole gets along really well on and off the pitch (we aren't so dramatic like psg!) that doesn't mean the players will hang out together off the pitch all the time. it seems like a healthy balance that doesn't require the team being together 24/7.

it's definitely changed over the past few years with players coming and going and with most of the team being paired up with significant others now. mostly they are doing their own thing (cgh/torrejon and mapi/ingrid are examples) or getting together with childhood friends. you tend to see the younger players hanging out more often together outside the pitch.

in terms of friend groups now, there's the scandis (frido + ingrid), who most recently had a birthday brunch together to celebrate engen. frido will occasionally make an appearance in ingrid's photo dumps. but mapi and engen have their own life together as does frido and her bf (including their own non-barça friends that they visit/vacation with).

aitana still lives in ribes, which is outside barcelona and has her own friend group from childhood, as you can see in her documentary. she is besties with keira and frido on the pitch, and will still hang with keira every now and then off it.

alexia is mother to all the young players on the pitch, and is tight with the old guard (mapi, irene, patri, torre, etc.) but rarely hangs out with the team outside of trainings, matches, and travel for games. instead she's very close to her family and childhood friends. but the team did come together to support her during her documentary premiere.

mariona, amc, paños, irene, patri/pina, their partners, and sometimes keira had a little sunday hike/walk the dog group and hang. here they are at a calçotada hosted by irene. but that group is slowly breaking up with all the players leaving 😓

amc is like a godmother to irene's son, mateo, and is very close to mariona.

other than the dog walkers group, patri and pina kinda do their own thing. they have their mallorca friends. patri and her ex-carla are still close, but they don't hang as often as they used to. patri and leila ouahabi are besties, too!

and finally, we have ona, jana, bruna, cata, vicky, salma, and other babies. just a few weeks ago a group of them went bowling and they celebrated jana's birthday.

anyway, that's a rough breakdown, but like i said before, barça as a team is low on the drama and high on the chemistry and professionalism.

Really the only thing to add is that you might be a bit restrictive with how you express/present yourself? As in you overthink or you feel like you’re not allowed to do certain things because you didn’t suffer enough for it? Unfortunately problems and emotions will always present themselves regardless of your status, you don’t have to be at a certain level to be frustrated, it’s okay. Also you feel a bit goofy, I hope you’re allowed to let that side out enough.

Oh? Well, as a side note the cards came out without issue, so there’s a feeling that you know yourself quite well. I keep being drawn into the hole on the Sun card. I’m getting nothing else, so I think right now there is some healing that needs to be done to the ego — or identity. To piece this together, it’s like someone is being too self-critical of who they are, and to solve this they need to implement self care because I also got that. That could just be parts of the personality but I’m getting. Nothing. Let me see.

Oh my god I can’t read any of this literally. Sag-Pisces makes me think of Jupiter influence, and could point to avoidance for this particular reason. It feels like being asked what to drink, not knowing what to choose so asking to try everything. Everything feels very flimsy, so either I have a lot of people within this pile or we just need to work on who we are at our core a bit longer which is just what happens in life. Cancer being in reversed is also important, because I never take my oracles that way unless they fly out as such. This signifies a lack of nurturing in some sort. Or the emotions are being pushed to the side. Ego can’t survive without emotion — it’s just a paper bag at that point. It feels more like trying to fit into another archetype or be someone that you’re not? Like following trends as an example. I’m pulling advice for you, one second.

Energy to Embrace: Whale, Oyster, Peacock

Yeah, you have to embrace your own qualities and put them back out into the world. All of these cards show that there has been some damage done, so I can understand that there is some insecurity or fear in doing that, but masking as someone else is not the answer and it’s causing more internal confusion/damage. You have gifts that the world should see. Everyone does. We each have something that no one else can offer, which is why we’re here. I don’t think that’s your dominant personality, but as I said before there are times where people test you or think lowly of you and that’s when it comes out. Like ‘ah they’re too spineless to do that’ and then you do it to prove them wrong or just piss them off honestly. With the second house I don’t think it’s money that’s a concern, but more like that items that you have, or the clothes. It’s like how you’re seen and present yourself, which can be counted as valuables because they reflect you. Sagittarius and Uranus are both outspoken and well, you want to make sure you’re noticed sometimes.

Human au/Immortal throuple idea!

Hob and Dream are best friends but Hob has a secret. He has been in love with Dream his whole life. But as far as he knows, Dream is only interested in women.

In fact, when Hob meets Calliope in a college course, develops a crush and invites her out for drinks, he sees the exact moment Dream falls in love with her. He watches it happen and feels his heart break again. Because Calliope is amazing. hob already knows it. But what can he offer either of them?

So Hob encourages Dream and Calliope to date, and pretends it’s fine. Dream has had flings before but this time, Hob knows it is serious. Still he hangs out with them all the time. More than he should, but Hob can’t ever turn them down when they invite him out. Their other friends joke about Hob being their constant third wheel.

After a year, Dream proposes and Hob helps throw them an engagement party. And Dream and Calliope both jokingly fight over who gets Hob as their best man. They share.

But Hob is at his limit. He had tried to quiet his heart but it’s just too painful to be so in love. And as long as he is in their lives, he knows he will never get over them. So quietly, Hob puts in an application for a grad program in the states, as far away as he can get. He doesn’t have the heart to tell them, not when they’re so excited for their future. He doesn’t want to ruin their happiness.

The day of the wedding, hob is heartbroken but so happy to see them happy. He means every word of his speech, where he tells the crowd how well matched they are, and how they are his best friends. He hugs them goodbye. Even if they don’t know it’s goodbye forever, he tries to memorize those last moments. And then as Dream and Calliope depart for their honeymoon in Greece, Hob shuts the door in his packed up apartment and hops on a plane.

Dream and Calliope don’t hear from Hob on their trip—but they assume he wants to give him space. But when they get back, they find a letter from Hob waiting. Hob tells them he has loved Dream for years but he knows his feelings aren’t returned. He tells them that he is not angry and that he knows Calliope will make Dream so happy. He admits that he loves Calliope too. He tells them to take care of each other but that he needs to move on and he is sorry but this is the only way he could think to do it. If he saw them he knows they would have been able to talk him out of it.

Dream falls to pieces. He calls Hob over and over but Hob has changed his number. He has deleted his social media. Hob doesn’t want to be found. Calliope is stunned by her own heartbreak. And she’s never seen Dream like this.

Their first year of marriage is rocky. Without Hob’s joyfulness Dream drags Calliope into depressive spirals. Without his gentleness, they grate on each other’s nerves. They realize how much Hob had been the glue that helped them work. Their sex feels more like fighting for dominance than making love. Calliope is sure Dream resents her for Hob’s leaving. And sometimes he spits at her that she is right, he does. It’s clear something is missing. Now they realize not only have they lost Hob, they’re on the verge of losing each other.

Calliope, because she is a queen, finally sits Dream down to talk about Hob. He tends to fly into a rage or collapse into sadness at the mention of Hob’s name these days. But she makes him talk to her about him. About their friendship. And slowly they realize that not only did they depend on Hob, but they might have been in love with him too.

So there is only one thing to do. They have to track Hob down and convince him to give them a chance. But how will they find him when he is determined not to be found? And if they find him, what if he has already moved on?

Oh I love it!!! 3 dumbasses is the only thing better than 2 dumbasses.

I'm imagining that they rally all their friends and family to try and track Hob down. Calliope's sisters put out feelers around Europe, Death contacts all of her colleagues in the medical field, and Delirium has the amazing idea to get in touch with their brother Destruction (now know as Ollie) who also disappeared at one point and knows the best places to go to track Hob down. With a plan of action and hope in their hearts, Dream and Calliope's relationship actually settles into something more like it used to be. They feel united and they finally start to comfort each other instead of fighting.

Ollie's work pays off and he tracks Hob down studying for his PhD and living in the middle of bumfuck, nowhere. He's changed his name and even altered his appearance slightly - long hair tied back in a ponytail, beard sleek and neat around his jaw. Ollie sends the information to Dream and he and Calliope are on the first flight out to the nearest airport.

Hob is... not mad that they tracked him down. He's fucking lonely and he misses his two best friends, and he's not sure if he made the right decision. Never getting to see them hurts even more than seeing them in love. When they show up on the doorstep on his trailer he's so relieved he could cry.

Calliope smacks him on the chest, hard enough to make him stumble, and she says a lot of thing that mainly boil down to "I'm so mad that you didn't even give us a CHANCE to love you." And Dream is all teary eyes and trembling lips, holding onto Hob’s sleeve like he's going to just disappear into thin air. Eventually they all go inside, and Hob makes tea. Just like he always used to.

Dream and Calliope get on either side of Hob and twine themselves around him like vines on a trellis. They need his support and strength to allow them to grow. And they feel awful that they never even realised just how important he was. He should have been an equal partner in their relationship from the very beginning. And now they have him back, they're both practically trembling with want. They need to show him that they want him to come back and be with them always!

Meanwhile Hob is just trying to work out if this is just a wonderful dream come true... or if his two loves are really crowding him up against the wall and kissing every inch of him they can reach?!

Ever deal with Elgyem and Beheyem?

I have an Elgyem, Iggy, he's a sweet one, but I dont discuss him much due to his particular shyness, and the nature of his skills. My mother had a Beheyem, it was an unnerving pokemon to live around as a child, it was not kind nor fair in its treatment of others, and I think it's purpose in the house made me cautious around the species as a whole, but that waryness is not without reason.

Because of their abilities, Val has been trained to block their mind altering powers out. That feeling of something in your head gives you an instant pressure headache, can change memories and is sometimes enough to cause panic attacks, you can assume the worse if one hits you with its skills and you dont realise it. You do however, forget the second they stop using their powers on you normally, they wipe their presence from your memory most of the time so they dont get caught, sneaky pokemon. The few we've had handed in to us have been particulalry harsh, very difficult to handle, the more well adjusted pokemon don't often make it to us unless theyre grass types or native species who're handed in during times when the mainland centres can't handle the volume of patients.

Thanks to Val we can work with even violent individuals without our staff being thretened or erased in any way. Though they don't show up in this neck of the woods very often, not a pokemon you see in Johto much unless its migrated or been released. They tend to be loners, but can hang around in pairs, so keep your wits about you if see one, another may be hiding.

As a species goes, they’re in line with golette and bronzor ect, their power source is quite mysterious, they have organs that aren’t anything like other species, and as a whole tend to be shrouded in a great deal of mystery in the community, some scientists have tried to harness this bracket of pokemon as long term energy sources, but it was a practice deemed unethical very quickly. It however doesnt stop it happening sometimes in underground schemes and dens, much to our disgust within the pokemon care giving community.

They also seem to work similarly to claydol, in that they have a frequency network of psychic energy that they communicate on, along with their flashing lights used to stun and confuse targets, and their series of chirpy beeps. They aren’t nourished by solid foods, and from what researchers have gathered they draw power from the moon’s light, sitting out in it when possible. Theyre very efficient pokemon, metabolisms seem to run very slowly, and dont tend to rest much for days on end, which can be difficult in a more ordinary setting for trainers.

They have a curious nature, and can get into trouble a lot, but theyre very smart, and very quick to want to know what things are, so anynoe raising one should give them a whole heap of enrichment, puzzles, strategy games, show them new items, explain things to them. Theyre a great pokemon for people who have allergies as they dont trigger any, an innate being. They can be hard to socialise with other pokemon but not always.

This is certainly not a pokemon for the feint of heart, nor beginners. Theyre known to start altering their trainers memories when they want to get their own way, so play it safe, and be alert. Like any other pokemon however, they have a lot of charm and love to give if theyre a good match for you, I suppose keep an open mind on the species as a whole. Raised well and with love theyre excellent, intelligent companions.

Hi! I’ve noticed these days that my writing is struggling between sounding very formal and proper versus sounding casual. On one hand, I’ll have a sentence that looks like it came straight out of a 1940s British series, but two lines later there’s some casual dialogue that’s closer to an American teen novel. I grew up with both types of books tbh, so maybe that’s why? How do I stabilize my writing style and make it a little more consistent? Thank you!

Stabilizing Voice in Writing

There are three types of "voice" that play a role in how your writing sounds... authorial voice, narrative voice, and character voice.

Authorial voice is your writing style as an author. In many ways, it's your "writer personality." It's what makes your writing distinctive from another writer's. While authorial voice tends to be consistent across all stories, it will evolve with time and may even change slightly for particular projects--especially when crossing genres. Authorial voice includes things like how much/little description you use, how simple or ornate that description is, how you use word play, and the types of words you use. Narrative voice is the "voice/voices" with which the story is told. This is made up of point-of-view (the perspective from which the story is told, for example, first-person or third-person limited), as well as your writing style and use of language. Anything the narrator says falls under narrative voice.

Character voice is the way a character's personality comes through in the things they think and say. It includes things like whether they're concise or wordy when they speak, slang and catchphrases, quirks of speech like saying "um" or "uh" a lot, how their attitude is reflected in what they think and say, accent, and the kinds of words they use.

When you have a first-person narrator, narrative voice and character voice are combined, because the character's voice IS the narrative voice.

So, there are several quick exercises you can do if you want to stabilize the voice in your writing:

1 - Do a little analysis of your own writing style (so far). Remember: writing style is something that evolves over time, so you might not have a fully established writing style yet, but you should be able to look at what you write and start to see some patterns. In your case in particular, do you gravitate more toward formal speech than casual speech? Can you think of any writers whose style matches what you'd like your writing style to be? Try reading more of their books, or read a chapter an analyze the writing style to see what you can mimic.

2 - Think about the narrator of your story... Even if it's a third-person omniscient, faceless narrator, it can still help to assign a sort of mental picture for who this person might be and who they're telling the story to. Is this someone who experienced it telling the story in third-person long after the fact, with 20/20 hindsight, to someone who might be interested? Is this a god who watched it all unfold and is retelling the tale to an audience of other gods? Is it an old grizzled storyteller telling the story to a rapt audience around a campfire? Try to choose something that makes sense as far as who might be telling this story, who they're telling it to, and why. It's not that you're including this as part of the story, but rather as a sort of placeholder for your brain any time you're in narrator mode. If you can slip into this narrator's shoes as you write the narrator parts, it sometimes helps you "get into character" and stick with a consistent, relevant narrative voice.

3 - Establish character voice... Character voice does have an impact on narrative voice, even if the story isn't told in first-person. In third-person stories, who the characters are can tell you a lot about who your narrator might be (so it might help to do this step before #2 above...) For example, if your characters do happen to be a bunch of 1940s Brits, you can start to think about who they are and what they experience to figure out who the narrator might be. In this case, it probably wouldn't make sense for the narrator to be a god telling the story to other gods (as that feels too mystical for this narrator), but a grizzled storyteller recounting the tale around a campfire might make sense.

If your story's being told in second-person (You walked to the window... Like a Choose Your Own Adventure) or first-person (I walked to the window...) character voice relates even more to narrative voice, because in second-person, even though the narrator is not the POV character, the narration is still being filtered through the POV character's personality, knowledge, and experiences. And in first-person, the narrator IS the POV character, so the narrative voice and character voice are one and the same.

By doing these exercises, you can start to hone each of these voices to find some stability. Happy writing!

So, I (26M) live with my sister (19) and parents (67F and 63M) due to financial circumstances (that usamerican economy, eh?). The things described with my parents have been going on since I was in pampers.

My parents fight all the time. Over little things. In nasty, insulting the person and belittling them types of ways. Everything my mom does that my dad doesn't fully agree with or think she's doing exactly how it should be done, he yells at her for it and things become a screaming match. Sometimes my mom just stops talking, or just responds "Okay." until my dad tires himself out or gets so frustrated that he drops the argument. And she'll do similar things to him.

I've talked to them both one-on-one before about how aggressive and explosive they are during arguments. I've tried to impress upon both of them that personal insults don't make people change. Problems need cooperative solutions, where both parties are working towards the goal, whether that's dinner at a certain time or laundry at a certain frequency.

My dad justifies himself because my mom is just too difficult to deal with, and doesn't listen no matter how much he tries to tell her about an issue (his words. Not reality in my eyes, because he's never *telling* her an issue, he's *yelling* an issue at her). He's under the impression his demands for her to change are cooperative and equally-involved.

My mom doesn't tend to comment on her behavior beyond "I know. I get frustrated, but I know" or some excuse or another for my dad's behavior (her go to is "But I don't want to hurt the child in his heart anymore than his childhood has". In my eyes, not her responsibility to heal my grandma's neglectful, piss-poor parenting, especially when my dad has no interest in therapy of any kind). She doesn't think cooperation is possible with my dad, and doesn't want to start that conversation. In her words, it could end in a fight, or he just won't do his half of the work, so she might as well do the full task and save herself the frustration.

This, again, has been going on since before I could wobble on my own two feet. I don't think either are going to change. I hate seeing my mom roll over, especially because having grown up with this *I thought it was normal for a relationship to be so mean.* I had to put in a lot of work and experience a lot of difficult lessons to unlearn that. And I hate seeing my dad so frustrated to the point of blowing his fuse over mundane topics like dishes and parking spots. I worry about his health, and his happiness. I worry about both of their happinesses. I hate the pettiness. I hate the disrespect and the refusal to hear each other out.

The breaking point was today, when during an argument my dad started berating my mom over leaving the shower towels out too long. Yes, the towels were starting to ripen. But he started saying (yelling. I could hear him from upstairs, door closed) that as a mother she should know better than to let towels, especially towels that go on your face and hands and stuff, grow bacteria, and that she's disgraceful for not changing the towels daily. (Towels that, mind y'all, he ALSO could be changing daily, since one of those two towels is "his" shower towel).

I've been at the end of my rope for years. Yes one option is just beg a friend to let me rent a room off one of them and try to make ends meet, but that still leaves my sister stuck in this mess, and now stuck in it alone. I'm not keen on doing that. So. Would I be the asshole if I told my parents I think it's time to seriously consider divorce? Or hell, is there another option?

Blitzwing NSFW Alphabet

So this has been in my drafts since February, and I finally decided to post it after seeing the lack of Blitzwing content. First time making an NSFW alphabet, so hopefully it’s not awful. Enjoy~

A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)

I was literally about to go to bed when I saw this request and I was like I NEED TO DO THIS NOW OMG. Safe to say I absolutely love this idea and loved writing it💖 hope you enjoy!

Asa didn’t think he had a type until he met you..now he’s sure he couldn’t ever go back.

You were the lecturer in the classroom next door, sure Asa knew of you but he didn’t know you personally, never caring enough to go introduce himself to other lecturers like some kind of newly moved in house warming party, he was solely interested in teaching his classes, getting out, and tending to his collection, hopefully managing to cram a few hours sleep in until he has to wake up and repeat it again.

The class had finally began to pick up as all the students had settled and the lecture was underway, until a timid knock sounded on the door. Asa was pissed. If he has to sit through his students fussing again he’s going to lose it.

That was until he pulled open the heavy wood door and revealed you, looking professional but still boyishly handsome. Your tucked shirt pulling taught where the largest part of your belly settled, folding softly over your belt. Sleeves rolled up to reveal thick arms, spattered with an ample amount of dark hair, knuckles equally hairy to match. Asa’s face heats up and he curses in his head, only making matters worse as he drags his eyes over your ample chest subtly, well as subtly as you can when your practically eye fucking the bear of a lecturer that just interrupted your class.

You take the books from him like it’s nothing, not even a strain or flinch, fuck, that was hotter than it should’ve been. You thank him and leave, presumably back to teach your class, whatever it is you actually teach, he’d been to caught off guard to ask anything of importance.

For the rest of the day Asa can’t forget the way “sir” sounded coming from your lips.

He wants to find out more about you and he does, under the guise of bumping into you in the teachers lounge or offering you a ride back to your house. he now knows you teach English, it’s not really what you wanted to do but it pays the bills. He knows you usually wear suits apart from on Fridays when you choose something more casual for the end of the week. He knows you live alone and your daily schedule, knows when the best time to strike is. He knows no one will look for you.

It’s Months later and everything has changed, Asa has more of a spring in his step as he returns home, the weight of the day not affecting him as harshly when he knows he’s coming home to his favourite pet.

It wasn’t hard to gain your trust, easy to believe in peoples kind words and actions, it was almost laughably easy to find out where and how you live, oblivious to the turtle neck clad figure trailing a few blocks behind. You hadn’t gone down easy into the box but that’s the way he likes it, likes a bit of a struggle.

Now Asa has you at his beck and call, only needing to snap his fingers or say one word to have you scrambling to follow, eager to impress. You would think due to your large structure that you would be in control, no questions asked but it was obvious to any onlooker that wasn’t the case. Asa had you wrapped around his finger, always following his heels like a well trained attack dog willing to do anything for his masters approval.

Now Asa had you where he wanted he wasted no time in admiring you, all soft curves and dark hair, masculine and sexy. Your daily wear now mostly consisted of leather harnesses, loving the way the straps wrapped around you, making your flesh spill over them but constricting you at the same time. He could stare at the way the harness pushed forward and presented your hairy tits to him for hours, now adorned with two shiny barbells to Asa’s liking. Asa smiles this time, running his gloved hand over hair, abruptly grabbing a handful and wrenching your head back so you can meet his dark eyes. “Good boy, always so eager to please master, aren’t you my mutt?” You make a weak noise at being grabbed so harshly but reply “y-yes sir” Asa tugs your hair harder causing your scalp to sting in a way that makes your thighs rub together. “Again, louder.” He orders back, not making any room for excuses. “Yes sir! I love being a stupid mutt for you! Love following orders and making you proud!” You pant back, a lot louder and more desperate this time.

A satisfied smile slips onto Asa’s face as he releases your hair from his grasp, easing the pain in your scalp. Your master tugs the ring of your collar, pulling your chin up with it to look at him.

A moment passes and looks are exchanged, yours of need and Asa’s of smugness. Your lips meet in the middle for a searing kiss, lips and teeth clashing. “Good dog” Asa mutters in between kisses.

Hanzo is a bit iffy about you and how you're 3 years older than his little brother, but after finding out you were related to Mercy, he relaxed a bit. He thinks you're chill and likes hanging around you. But he tends not to bc he knows Genji can get jealous easily.

Kiriko really likes you. Y'all are like this🤞 It honestly makes Genji jealous with how close you guys are. You guys often rant to each other about some random topic, and by both, I mean Kiriko is the only one who rants while you just listen.

Mercy is happy for you both. She knows what your parents did and just wants you to be happy. She does keep her eye on Genji tho, she wants to make sure he doesn't break your robotic heart.

TimeSkip!Garou Relationship Hcs! Pt.2!

This is definitely all over the place but that’s okay. This isn’t proofread lolz. Enjoy🍛🩵

Issues. This man has issues. Parental issues. Abandonment issues. I feel that aspect of him gets overlooked in fanfics.

He didn’t care what people thought about him in during his monster arc(not true) but when you told him you cared for him, that changed him. He wanted your approval, your opinions, your thoughts. Despite that, he would question why you care for someone like him. Someone with flaws like his. Again, abandonment issues. Needs reassurance from you. No one else. Well, besides Tareo and Bang.

Occasionally would find it hard to communicate nicely. Would be blunt about things, but not in a asshole way with you. He just doesn’t know how to say things sometimes.

During an argument, he would yell trying to get his point across. After an argument, he would go out and take a walk for a bit. Probably wont talk to you for a while, needs clarity. After awhile, will talk to you and figure something out together. That’s if the argument was abt something important.

Will sometimes pick up extra shifts, or work random jobs on eBay, just to do something extra for you both. Can’t say much in words, but will do things with and for you. Acts of service, and quality time.

He kinda likes to match outfits. Not like those cheesy ass Mickey/Minnie stuff(maybe king/queen lolz)

Didn’t listen to much music before since he didn’t have a phone. Now, he likes listening to music, but will still prefer silence. Will randomly send you songs that say, “listen to this!” Or “reminds me of you”

I would see him living outside but close to the city. A nice small house with the basic necessities near a woods and river. Nature is healing for him.

If he goes on a walk, he’ll return with a rock, a stick, or a flower and will give it to you and say, “For you” or “look, found this while out. Pretty cool, huh?”

He will catch himself wondering what future you and him will have. Will you both have kids? Adopt? How about pets? Will you both move? Somewhere dangerous? Somewhere nicer? Will you both have figured things out? Will you both still be together? …..duh!

Will follow you around. Going to the grocery store? He’s tagging along. Need to tend to plants outside? He’ll grab the watering can. Grabbing a snack from the kitchen? He’s right behind you. Taking the trash to the dumpster? He’ll hold the other trash bag so you don’t have to. Quality time.

He also loves ‘doing your own thing in eachothers presence’ thing. Finds it relaxing and enjoyable.

teach me your ways on how to color whitewash idols. it’s so pretty

hiii omg thank u !! i will say i make new coloring for every set + recommend that so ur coloring is unique to the lighting, idol, etc.! i only mask over the original at the end of coloring (otherwise it can trick your eye into thinking something is off), and i ask people for help making sure i didn't oversaturate sometimes. i'll color a yeri set from the same file as those irene gifs earlier to show my process :)

sharpen! my sharpening whitens highlights most times, so i try to color over it so i know it won't become overexposed when i go to export. base gif (sharpened in vs) versus sharpened fully.

2. gauge how pale they are compared to naturally light photos w/ minimal to no editing / general 'what is too pale'. she isn't very pale here so not too much needs changing.

first adjustment layer: levels, set the blacks using the eyedropper. helps with contrast and overall look.

second: curves, adding back highlights and depth (especially around nose and cheekbones, which tend to get removed when it is washed out).

exposure! make sure to adjust gamma as well, don't go too far. this is the no. 1 cause of overly white gifs with otherwise nice coloring.

next is brightness and contrast, which same rule of thumb as exposure. don't over-do it.

hue/sat: fix yellow or red leaning skin, and then i add saturation and darken skin channels to add life and warmth without making it too overdone (if you just saturate, it can look cartoonish imo)

selective color (#1): adjust reds, yellows, blacks, and whites. sometimes change neutrals (add magenta and yellow while lightening them overall) on very stubborn originals.

selective color (#2): fine-tune previous adjustments to look natural. ADD WHITE BACK TO HIGHLIGHTS! this helps with the glowiness

it can be done at this point, but i did one more fine-tuning hue/saturation (when i adjust other colors like blues to be the shade i want too). this is also when i use color balance or a second brightness/contrast to get my end result where i want!

base (sharpened in vs) vs. the final :D

i also like to color with the previous / done gif next to the new one to make sure they match :) like so - i copy and paste the coloring group and then adjust it (and sharpening!) as needed for cohesion

the psd for yeri, and the irene set from earlier if you'd like to mess with them. irene's is more extreme as the lighting was worse.

so since i got xiao he’s always been in my team and sometimes when i’m just chatting with my friends i sometimes just have aggressive cuteness from xiao’s chubby cheeks. and i have expressed that many times that i want to pinch or just C H O M P on them out loudly and thru chats with my friends.

I feel you anon! I main Xiao and he has to deal with my shi- every day XD Hope this is alright! I started writing before my break and when I came back I got kinda lost :(

It's strange when two worlds merge into one.

The layout of Teyvat remains the same, most people don't even notice the change-, but Xiao does.

He finds it weird when four other people outside of his team fight alongside him. They all hold a similar divine presence. Perhaps they are vessels as well? No. Their presence never matches your warmth. They must be something else.

The worst thing he had to undergo is witnessing the multiple versions of ‘him’ run around. Sometimes there’d be only one doppelganger, other times he'd have to watch three other ‘Xiao’s’ run around him. He wonders why he gets so mad when he’s looking at these other versions of him. Surely you only need him, right?

Another thing Xiao noticed in your little routine; You tend to do these 'world merges' whenever you'd need him to clear domains. Artifacts, books, weapon ascension materials, heck- he fights Azdaha and multiple harbingers every week!

It’s exactly in one of these domains that he starts hearing your voice. It’s different than usual. Xiao can’t hear your voice-, but the words you speak flash in front of his eyes.

‘Hi!’

The other person in the domain seems to halt movement, similar to how Xiao was halted moments prior. It’s not the first time this has happened. You sometimes talk a one sided conversation, and Xiao knows you’re not addressing him.

‘He’s so cute right!’

Xiao feels your eyes move from his back to the front, coming closer till he feels your gaze on his face. No matter how he tries, he can’t move on his own will.

The other person in the domain walks closer to Xiao and stops besides him,
