It was in that shack where you and your friends often came to hang out because it was an unused and empty place in the middle of the forest that you found that white haired man resting after a long and tough fight.
It couldn’t even be considered resting the way he looked. Blood dripping down his body like water. Of course you immediately tended to him without thinking twice.
You were a B-class hero. Downplayed to the support role, a mere healer. People - especially the association did not see the potential in you. It always bothered you but in this situation you were lucky. God knows what Garou would have done if he had seen your name in the Heroes lexicon instead of just skipping the Pages with the B-class ranked heroes.
One instance lead to the other and it became the norm healing him up whenever he got injured. You developed a weak spot for him. The way he sat on the dust filled couch with his legs spread and his head leaned back. Always making snarky remarks. And always being shirtless.
“It’s great I have ya. Got my own private hopsital.”
“You good? Stop starin at my abs and heal them damnit..”
And of course he has a soft spot for you. May not show it but he cares for you in his own way.
It was when he began coming over for the most useless reasons that you realized he had a crush on you.
Like for instance before or in the middle of fights he’d come looking for you asking you to renew his energy. But after a while he came over every second day with the excuse that “What if I get into a fight?? I need all my power ya know.”
Once you start dating he eventually finds out about you being a hero. Doesn’t really care about it. He is just as upset with you that no one acknowledges your true powers and asks you if you want to join him on his hero hunting but you refuse.
That does not affect your relationship though.
Will lay on you as he lets you heal him. Is real snuggly. Will also groan extra loud to get you all flustered though.

After some research I’ve come to the conclusion that this guy has never gotten severely injured. He does feel pain but it barely hurts.
He does get some tiny scratches from time to time though.
Those if course you heal as his partner. He insists that he doesn’t need it but secretly loves the care you provide him.
When out on Monster battles you two are the best duo to see. While he takes care of the Monsters you take care of any citizens in the area.
He admires you so much and thinks you’re like the backbone of the heroes association because in the end you’re the one who contributes to the citizens and the heroes health.
If anyone dares to say otherwise they’ll have a problem with him.
Let’s you play support in video games because you’re “made for it”
What he does love getting from you are massages though. Your massages are magical because due to your healing and energy renewing powers they make one feel refreshed.
He’ll ask for one whenever he gets the chance.

At first he’s very reluctant over getting treated by you.
The chairman he works for offered him a personal assistant/nurse. Which was you of course.

And will not stop talking during the treatments. Talking about being the fastest, avenging saitama and whatsoever.
It’s like a therapy and treatment session all at once.
Once you both start dating he gets so comfortable. Will enter the room and lay on you without saying a word expecting you to treat him.
Will justify the injuries he’s gotten like it’s his job.
“Ah that one..you see there was this frick of a cyborg who did not know when to quit. He chopped my hair off too..can you believe it?!”

Would be the overprotective type, not suffocating tho. If he caught someone staring or eyeing you he would ignore it but swell with pride, knowing he has someone as beautiful as you as his partner.

Injured Garou

Thought I was a distraction?” You said annoyedly placing the knife and gun on the counter.
When you didn’t hear nothing a grunt you walked around seeing blood on the floor and the white haired male shuffling through the cabinets. “What happened!” You yelled with a gasp as the blood from his opened wound on his chest stained your gray floors.
“Fuck… I ran into Zombieman.” He spoke through his gritted teeth watching as you ran to the back and came back with a kit. “The bastard reopened my wound.” He moved his hand allowing you to look at the wound.
A sigh left your lips as you cleaned the wound before restitching it. “I told you. The S-class hero’s are no joke.. you had trouble with watch dog and his rank is 12.”
“Are you saying I can’t do it?” He grabbed your hands stopping you making you glance at him.
“I need to finish stitching you up. Let go.” You told him trying to move your hands but he didn’t let go. “Garou why are you so adamant about defeating the S-Class hero’s.”
“That’s none of your business.” He let go of your arm.
“But here you are! Bleeding on my floor once again having me stitch you up once again! You aren’t supposed to be here. Your words! You said I was distracting you from your goal!” You snapped at him staring him down.
“I know what I said. I’ll leave. I just came here for the supplies since I ran out. I didn’t ask you to do it.” He grumbled turning away from your eyes. He watched as you quickly stitched him up before trying to clean the blood on the ground before it stained.
Garou stood up taking the white wrap from the kit and wrapping his wound. He was turning to leave but stopped when he heard her sniff. He looked down watching her rinse the rag in the sink. “Why are you crying?” He spoke softly.
“Aren’t you supposed to be leaving? We can pretend this never happened.” She said eyes focused on the water from the sick but her voice was sad.
Garou sighed walking over to her. “You know I hate when you cry. So tell me.” He turned the water off grabbing her chin. She looked at him her eyes brimming with water and her tears staining her face.
“It hurts to see you. Garou.” She pushed him away walking to grab the weapons and put them back.
“I see you took my advice..” he said following her looking at the two items. It was to keep you safe he said last time they spoke. “I’m sorry. Okay but-“
“I’m a distraction yes. I know.” You sighed placing the weapons back and looked at him. “I told yoy I loved you and you didn’t say it back. I let you in despite everything. I hid you whenever they were looking for you! I put my job on the line for you many times. Garou and you know what you had to say.” You snapped at him tears still falling from your eyes.
“I said it-“
“I don’t care for your excuse Garou please just go.” You turned away from him. When you find hear anything you looked only to be caught off guard by him leaning forward kissing you. It felt like muscle memory the way your mouth moved in sync with his as he backed up till his was sitting on the bed.
He pulled you into his lap grunting from the pain silently. He breathed heavily once you pulled away resting his forehead on yours. “Garou-“
“I love you.” He said shocking you, you pulled away to look at his face seeing how sincere he looked in his eyes. “I just don’t want what I’m doing to fall on your shoulders. I don’t want you to get hurt when I defeat someone. What if I can’t protect you, I love you so much-“

Feels like the most stupid (person) in the world at that moment. Had he known it was this easy, he probably wouldn’t have gone through such lengths. (He would have. Cuz boy doesn’t realize that he’s in love with you.)
Usually Genos is pretty blunt and forward, i guess that’s why trying to come up with something was so hard for him. For the first time, trying to ask you directly didnt cross his mind, as he wanted to make you happy all by himself.
You both spent the rest of the day at the aquarium, with you admiring the sea animals, and him admiring you. He realized after a while that his gaze was stuck on you, and definitely made a mental note to ask dr. Kuseno if there was something wrong in his system.
EVERY TIME YOU MENTIONED THAT AN ANIMAL LOOKED CUTE, HE PAMPERED YOU WITH INFORMATION ON THAT SPECIFIC ANIMAL.

All in all, it would be a pretty fun date! Genos would end the day by saying “I really enjoyed going out with you, Y/N-san. Next time I will take you out to someplace even better. No mistakes allowed.”

Guy heard “let’s go on a date!” And rolled with it.
Though his idea of a “date” might look a bit different.
100 percent took advantage of it when you said “let’s go somewhere you like”
So of course y’all ended up in an all you can eat buffet.

You were happy to spend time with him, you really were, But this just wasn’t what you thought it out to be. Of course you expected it to be at least a LITTLE romantic, even though he wasn’t your boyfriend yet, nor did he know that you liked him.
But sorry to disappoint you, romance is a foreign word for this oblivious man.
If you tell him how you feel about the date though, he’ll give you the widest smirk “you’re happy to spend time with me?” Completely ignoring everything else you said
Once y’all are done eating, he’ll make sure to walk you home, if you’re cold he’ll even hold you. So that’s at least something ?
You have to be REALLY forward and blunt with him, or else all he’ll do is tease you.

It was an kids amusement park. ALL of the rides were fit in for children.

Metal bat ends up feeling like he ruined your date, so you can see him being kinda upset, after cheering him up though, you both promise to go to a place that both of you could enjoy next time.

This is definitely all over the place but that’s okay. This isn’t proofread lolz. Enjoy🍛🩵
Issues. This man has issues. Parental issues. Abandonment issues. I feel that aspect of him gets overlooked in fanfics.
He didn’t care what people thought about him in during his monster arc(not true) but when you told him you cared for him, that changed him. He wanted your approval, your opinions, your thoughts. Despite that, he would question why you care for someone like him. Someone with flaws like his. Again, abandonment issues. Needs reassurance from you. No one else. Well, besides Tareo and Bang.
Occasionally would find it hard to communicate nicely. Would be blunt about things, but not in a asshole way with you. He just doesn’t know how to say things sometimes.
During an argument, he would yell trying to get his point across. After an argument, he would go out and take a walk for a bit. Probably wont talk to you for a while, needs clarity. After awhile, will talk to you and figure something out together. That’s if the argument was abt something important.
Will sometimes pick up extra shifts, or work random jobs on eBay, just to do something extra for you both. Can’t say much in words, but will do things with and for you. Acts of service, and quality time.
He kinda likes to match outfits. Not like those cheesy ass Mickey/Minnie stuff(maybe king/queen lolz)
Didn’t listen to much music before since he didn’t have a phone. Now, he likes listening to music, but will still prefer silence. Will randomly send you songs that say, “listen to this!” Or “reminds me of you”
I would see him living outside but close to the city. A nice small house with the basic necessities near a woods and river. Nature is healing for him.
If he goes on a walk, he’ll return with a rock, a stick, or a flower and will give it to you and say, “For you” or “look, found this while out. Pretty cool, huh?”
He will catch himself wondering what future you and him will have. Will you both have kids? Adopt? How about pets? Will you both move? Somewhere dangerous? Somewhere nicer? Will you both have figured things out? Will you both still be together? …..duh!
Will follow you around. Going to the grocery store? He’s tagging along. Need to tend to plants outside? He’ll grab the watering can. Grabbing a snack from the kitchen? He’s right behind you. Taking the trash to the dumpster? He’ll hold the other trash bag so you don’t have to. Quality time.
He also loves ‘doing your own thing in eachothers presence’ thing. Finds it relaxing and enjoyable.
