How I fell into this I don't remember now. I vaguely remember reading a crackfic of this and then everything just went sideways.

This was also the fandom that helped me realize that I wasn't exactly straight and that it's okay to not be loud about my sexuality, that I can just be.

I think that explains my attachment to this ship, not to mention just the movie's Grantaire (played by George Blagden) also shipped the characters and played his character like how he thought it should be, Grantaire loving and pining after Enjolras without the revolutionary knowing it.

Except in the fan fics, Enjolras returns his feelings and they work it out, even though it's not easy because they're both stubborn as mules. Ah, ultimate fantasy I guess. And the number of great fics here, *whistle*

Also, the Les Amis? Is amazing? Especially in the modern AUs? Like they're great friends? I love this fandom so much! Permets-tu!

Shen Wei x Zhao Yunlan - Guardian / Zhen Hun

C'mon, Zhu Yilong & Bai Yu's performance and emotions? Plus just the fact the fanfic writers of this ship are absolutely amazing? Please, escape from this pairing is impossible!

Best opposites attract trope for me. An academic by day, superhero by night in love with a roguish police chief who has no powers but whose charisma, wit, and heart can get him to toe to toe with the legends.

Also, Professor Shen Wei constantly acting like an innocent civilian and lying badly? Gold!

Loki x Tony Stark a.k.a. FrostIron - Avengers

How did I honestly get to this ship? I really can't remember what started it all. I think it must have been a Loki redemption fic where Tony Stark and Pepper broke up and something something happened. Let me tell you, the writers of this ship have written sagas and ballads of epic and sometimes confusing proportions, and that is why I fell deeper into the pit. I mean, they gotta give justice to two brilliant but chaotic characters, right? Angst. This ship has sooooooooo much angst.

I never read the books and have no plans to in the near future. I just saw a video on Youtube about why Malec is life and now here I am, still reading some Malec fics from time to time.

Some stuff on the show were WTF but overall they were a really good couple who supported each other. Plus, they're a Power Couple.

Erwin x Levi aka Eruri - Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin

Not to be confused with Ereri, which is Eren x Levi, which I don't generally ship except for that one time when a writer wrote an epic fanfic series with Eren in his mid 20s and Levi in his late 20s/early 30s, reincarnation AU. Boy was that one a surprise. I did not expect that.

Anyway, I'm an Eruri fan through and through. Especially with that promise that Levi made to Erwin. And the reason he gave the serum to Armin. HE DIDN'T DO IT FOR THE KIDS YKNOW. HE DID IT FOR ERWIN. Plus, Levi, Erwin, and Hange are my special trio. Erwin's batch was really amazing.

Also, I really like the fact that the shorter and slighter person is the more badass fighter while the taller, bigger one is the more calculating and strategic one. Rocks the boat of stereotypes and all that. Bonus: how these two met. My god, what a meet-cute! 😂

Dani x Jamie aka The Au Pair and the Gardener - The Haunting of Bly Manor

It really is more of a love story than a ghost story. I dunno how to feel about this. I loved these two characters so much and I wished they had a better ending but I wasn't SO surprised because it was a horror series (Like, I was still hoping at the end that they'd be together forever but yknow...). In any case, Jamie was just awesome. And her nickname for Dani? Poppins?! God, what a lover and fighter. She was not afraid to cock a gun in a ghost's face.

Merlin x Arthur aka Merthur - BBC Merlin

Yeah, my brain is so chaotic multiple OTPs and BROTPs of the same pairing exist at the same time without clashing with one another or having major identity crises.

I actually really like BROTP Merlin and Arthur and also like reading OTP Merthur.

And when Merlin is paired with Morgana or Freya or sometimes even Gwaine, that's fine with me too. As long as his bromance with Arthur stays intact, because that's what drew me to the show in the first place. Personal preference. I see them as platonic soulmates.

*Shout-out to the Merthur writers though, you kept me sane during my "Post-Merlin Depression," which is actually a term thrown around in the fandom because of that horrid final season (not saying it's a good term but it's what it was called). A lot of amazing fics here, too, both Magic Reveal and Modern AU ones. Full of action and adventure too! I mean, there are boy-band-looking Knights and magic-wielding badasses!

Tim Drake x Conner Kent/Kon-El aka Red Robin x Super Boy - DC Comics

More like flexible otp. I dig Stephanie Brown and Tim Drake BUT I really really also dig Tim Drake and Conner Kent. When they're TimKon, it's like an entirely different entity from TimSteph. Ugh, hard to explain.

I mean, Kon telling Tim, "You'll always be my Robin" and Tim telling Kon, "And you'll always be my clone boy" is the shit. Also when Kon could pick out/recognize Tim's heartbeat. And when Tim nearly went mad scientist trying to bring his bestie back. Like, dudes, wtf. And at the same time, hell yeah.

Liu Kang x Kung Lao aka LiuLao - Mortal Kombat

- I see these two as more like ride or die best friends connected by fate/platonic soulmates. But also like their dynamic is so awesome, cute, sweet, badass, can't-live-without-you vibes.

Basically the same way I feel about Merthur. I like reading both romantic and platonic relationships between these two characters. Like, the LiuLao fan creators peeling off the layers of this relationship and exposing every raw nerve is beautiful.

They love diving into the characters' psyche, emotions, motivations, fears, and doubts and you get really amazed because... Aren't they just characters from a video game, you ask? Well yeah, but MK video game has several interesting storylines and the Mortal Kombat 2021 movie was just the perfect jumpstarter to this beautiful blaze.

I mean, "We swore that if we were to die, it would be together"? Hell no, you're not dropping that on us and not expecting us to create our very own spin-offs and 12-page essays on that shit. That's what we fans do, baby. And also, really, we need a shaolin monks/white lotus spin-off/prequel. We're starving here.

As this ship is the newest one on my list, it's the one I'm looking forward to the most. Not enough fan content, I tell you. Not enough. One of these days, I just might add my own.

Lord of Shadows Review & Analysis! SPOILERS AHEAD, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK

On another note about spoilers, I get that seeking out spoilers as well as snippets, are a product of waiting so long for the next book… but I don’t know that I will treat them the same way going into QOAAD because I almost felt, while reading, that I had read 35% of the book already! I can’t promise that I won’t seek out spoilers or snippets, but I do hope that less are released over the next two years (I know that sounds ridiculous, but I would prefer a surprise!) With Regards to Individual Characters: • Emma: a feminist badass, growing into being the best shadowhunter of her time but not there yet. Her sarcasm and skill has improved since LM, and I literally laughed out loud during her POV’s and while reading her quotes. The scene with her and Diego and the fire ants= pure gold. Her scene with Manuel and calling out the cohort for being fascists= pure gold. • Julian: a sweetheart and I want to cry thinking about how much he has been through. I know “Dark Julian” has been referenced several times throughout the fandom but I really didn’t see too much of a change until- actually- the steamy scene with Emma where he demands that she calls him only Julian. Very sexy, very dark too. • Cristina: deserves better and I am dying for more of her POV’s. I am always amazed by her class and maturity. • Diego: not perfect. I am mad at him. • Kit: surprisingly likeable. I am so glad they included POV’s with him and Jace!! • Livia: underrated as hell, so sweet, so caring, so selfless, her charm and sarcasm= gold. • Ty: I AM SO GLAD WE ARE FINALLY STARTING TO SEE T Y B L A C K T H O R N AND HIS TRUE SELF-A M E N. • Dru- her crush on Jaime is fitting for a first crush and I’m glad he gave her the confidence to speak up. I want to hug her literally all the time. • Tavvy- irrelevant but cute. SHIPS: • I surprisingly loved Mark and Emma’s dynamic. Their relationship reminded me of a mundane high school sweetheart kind of relationship, because you can tell they absolutely care about each other, I just don’t see them as anything more than a bromance. I will however agree with the sentiment, "maybe in another life" because maybe, in another series, in another world, they would have been perfect for each other. • Kieran/Mark/Cristina: I find it significant that no choices were made in terms of canon relationships, which I interpret as a canon friendship because if any of them were going to be romantically involved, a decision would be made by now. I enjoy the friendship they have, I surprisingly forgave Kieran, but I do not expect any of the Blackthorns or Emma to forgive him also. His actions in QOAAD will definitely define how I feel about him going forward. • JEMMA: You all know I am 100% a Jemma shipper, but this time around I was glad that their relationship did not overshadow the rest of the book. I liked how private their relationship was, which is a funny word to use because people become more privy to it in LOS and because it was extremely private in LM, but the fact that they were literally in a different part of their country on their own made me all happy. • I am also glad that I got the B&N copy with the extra scene, which I waited to read because it is right after the ending of the book and I did not want to read anything after finishing LOS, lol. • Kitty: No canon romantic relationship yet, still very cute scenes… Ill talk about this in theories. • Kit/Livia: I am glad that Livvy’s first kiss was Kit, and not some random boy who won’t treasure the memory or look back and think “oh she was sweet, it’s a shame what happened to her”. Kit will always treasure the fact that he was Livia’s first kiss, and will cherish the friendship he had with her. It was platonic, but still special. I know people on tumblr were upset with this but I hope by the end of the book they understood. PROFOUND THINGS IN LOS • Lets talk about the fact that Emma Carstairs literally doesn’t cry….. but she cried over Julian literally 400 times in Lord of Shadows. If that doesn’t show you how much she literally loves that boy idk what will. • CLARY SHIPS JEMMA. During their conversation Clary literally says “who I pictured you with [not Mark or Cameron] doesn’t make sense….” This goes back to my question to CC about whether or not Simon knows about Jules and Emma, since he noticed something off during the parabatai ceremony. She responded “he knows something, he just doesn’t know what he knows”. I think the same applies to Clary, maybe she has even had premonitions about it, and that is so so significant. #jemmaisendgame • Kit and Livia and Ty’s friendship: so sweet and pure and is literally the reason why Kit decides to stay. How will Ty and Kit function without their third musketeer? • DRU & JAIME: Thank you Jaime for giving Dru the confidence to confront her family over her role as a Shadowhunter… but the witchlight you left behind that literally portals to another dimension: WTF? WHO IS ASH????? That scene is messed up because it is so short and therefore, subconsciously everyone looks over it because of how chaotic everything else is. I can’t help but feel like this is going to play a MASSIVE role in QOAAD. • Diana & Gwyn: Thank you CC for trans representation and a beautiful story. The fact that Gwyn accepts her wholeheartedly made my chest ache, and I hope that no one will use it against her please please please. • Jules & Emma’s Decision to tell the Inquisitor: Not sure why they did this tbh, but now that Robert is dead, what are their options??? Did he mark it down somewhere? Will they become so irrational that they consider the Seelie Queen’s offer? Livia’s Death • Months ago I received an anon message from someone about Livvy, which literally said that they felt something was going to happen to her and I completely dismissed it…. Thinking we haven’t seen enough of her storyline yet and it was too soon. I AM SO SORRY, and it’s literally all I have been thinking about for days. • Livia was so so selfless, down to her core, the last moments of her life were spent trying to save the people she loves. • I discussed with a mutual that the fact that Annabel did it was both cruel and also extremely fitting. • When you think about it, Livvy was the 21st century version of Annabel. From their appearance, which was remarkably similar, to the way that they treated outsiders taking refuge in their family (Livvy with Kit, Annabel with Malcolm) down to their deaths, both innocents killed trying to protect the ones they love. • The fact that the Mortal Sword shattered to me symbolized the end of the truth and trust within the Clave. • The amount of guilt that each character will carry following these deaths is heartbreaking… • i sincerely hope her death is not tossed to the side, discussed for 150 pages then only mentioned 4-5 times after that because she deserved better, the entire Blackthorn family did, and peace was completely ripped away from them Which brings me to my first theory: I believe there was a reason that Jessamine was introduced to TDA, not only to highlight Kit’s Herondale-ness, but also as a foreshadowing of another character who is not at peace, feels that there is unfinished business, and a group of people needing to be protected: Livia. Because it was made clear in the book that necromancy and raising the dead is forbidden, and because QOAAD takes place a week later, Livvy’s chances of being raised are very very very slim. I sincerely believe that she will come back, but not to life. It would be fitting of her to come back as a ghost (not at first but definitely later in the story) and for her to protect her family, and give Kit and Ty the OK to do whatever they want to do (whether its be a couple or become parabatai, or go to the Scholomance) More theories: • Though I predict a dark Julian, I do not predict a dark/irredeemable Julian, who digs himself into such a big hole that he can’t climb out of it. Remember he has two anchors: his family, and Emma… • The Rosales brothers, especially with their plans to overthrow the Cohort and fool Zara are going to play a massive role in QOAAD. • I think that Jemma are going to have to confide in Jem and Tessa, and they will end up helping Jules and Emma with the parabatai curse. I am also sure they will play a big role in the next book. • Unpopular Opinion: I do not think Clary will die. I know she thinks she will, but CC did say QOAAD is lighter (in regards to themes) than LOS, and I just do not think it would be a lighter book if Clary, a significant character, dies. I think she will become close to death, and people will become concerned, then she will tell Jace of her fears and say yes to his proposal. However, I could very well be wrong!! •i do predict the Cohort being in power for a short amount of time….. because they represent members of our society, I do not think they will be shut down so easily because that’s not realistic. Despite this, hope and love always win. I trust that this will remain true in the next book. • I do predict the end of the Cold Peace, it was never ever a good idea and no one likes it. • I predict that Drusilla will be a hero, now that her older sister has passed away and she has finally decided to step up as a Shadowhunter, I do not doubt that the role she plays will be significant, it just seems to be a reasonable underdog story. • Kitty: parabatai or lovers? An important decision, because Kit does reference his thoughts about being parabatai with Ty, and Ty finally says yes to being parabatai with Livvy. I think it’s a possible “that’s what Livvy would have wanted” trope, but I could also be wrong and think its about as equal of a chance of them becoming lovers. • Who will the new head of the LA Institute be? I sincerely doubt it will go to someone the Blackthorns do not know or trust. They have had so much taken from them, the Institute does not deserve to go next. Possibly Cristina? Will Jules or Emma be of age? Jem or Tessa following the end of the Cold Peace? We have to see! • ASH… I am just frustrated that we do not know more about him… I don’t even have a theory I just needed an excuse to talk about him again. Questions and Theories from my mutuals!!!!! • Anonymous: Its 3 am and I am literally just crying on my bed because of the book. ​ >> Relatable!! I cried hours after I finished because I was so sad. The ending really got me! • Anonymous: Do you think Jaime and Dru are endgame? She is 13 and hes like 17 but he thinks she’s 16. Idk, they seem to have a nice friendship but not a romantic relationship in my opinion.. ​ >> Agreed! I honestly think CC included this first crush idea as a way of introducing Dru’s further character development, not necessarily to introduce them as a couple… But also think about Cecily and Gabriel!!! They were about the same ages at the time, even though that was a different time period… anything is possible, but I do not ship them romantically! • VirginaNewman: I loved LOS, however I was indeed disappointed that Helen + Aline make a debut in the LAST chapter! ​ >> I definitely thought Helen and Aline would play a larger role in LOS, they were barely mentioned, barely had any scenes… I was disappointed by their small role too, but I am interested to see how hard they fight to stay in the next book. Ps- the scene where Aline basically tells Zara to shut her fucking mouth is GOLD. • Betweenshadesoftessagray- Since Robert’s dead, its going to be a race to get that spot, with probably Zara’s father trying to become Inquisior. And since Robert was the one who could help Emma and Julian with the exile thing, they really don’t know what to do with it. I think the powers will continue to grow, and since I think the main battle of QOAAd is going to be a battle where the warlocks and nephilim cannot use their runes/warlock magic, maybe their parabatai magic will still work and that’s how they win. I have already stated that I think there is going to be a battle in QOAAD without being able to use rune magic and the warlocks not being able to use their magic, but this didn’t fit in my other ask I just realized something that made my theory more solid: in the beginning, Zara says she went to Hungary because they were claiming their weapons were not working and she said it was incompetence, so the blight is already spreading not only in Idris but everywhere else. ​ >> This is such a well thought out theory and I wish I could give a formal response but I definitely need to go back, reread, and analyze this… I didn’t even realize the significance of Shadowhunters and warlocks including Magnus losing their powers!! Wow! Is this because of the Black Volume? I definitely think Emma and Julian’s parabatai/love powers will play a huge role in QOAAD and maybe even save the day during this second Dark War. Maybe that’s how they will become heros, their bond will be broken as a reward or something and everyone can live happier ever after?  Here’s a fun thing: YOU’VE BEEN TAGGED! Let’s talk about your story! Here’s what you do:

 1. How many stories are you writing?

Um, heh, not that many sadly. I’ve been working on a series set in the Stardew Valley game-universe for over a year now, on its third book, with a fourth one starting up some time in fall once I finish the third one. At least, that’s the PLAN; I’m updating thrice weekly, but even at 51 chapters so far it’s still not quite done, and I don’t want to rush it like I did book one.

Rose & Sunflower is the current series, and hopefully I’ll be done with it after book four. (I mean, seriously, four books for this little game?!) It’s the story of someone running from a problem that he created and it trying to start over again, and happens to find friends, a new use for his skills, and more. Where most SDV writers tend to follow their farmers, their farm, and all of that stuff, I went for a different tangent, hitting the musical angle that to my surprise, nobody else has tried. There’s also romance because of course there is, but it’s still a decent story despite that. XD

A Legend from the Gem Sea is a little one-shot short story written as a Tumblr Secret Santa this year, and it came out rather nice. Just a quick story between their farmer and Elliott, and I’m pretty pleased with how it came out.

Sunshine on a Cloudy Day is another short-story one-shot I’ve had in mind for a little bit but haven’t had the time or energy to sit down and write, just a small Sam/Sebastian thing, but not set in the R&S “universe.”

For REAL stories and not just fanfiction I have a few other stories in mind, like the high-tech high-magic world that I’ve been tinkering with for over a decade, and another with a near-future version of Earth that’s basically “network engineers in low-earth orbit.” Trust me, it’s much more interesting than it sounds. :P

I’ve also got a few FFXIV-centric fics planned, based on the adventures my RP character and his Free Company (and allied/neighboring FCs) get up to. But again, those are on hold for a bit until I untangle my schedule a bit more and cache some ideas and events. Haven’t built any stories around my Sims 3 version of Lys yet as I’ve been too busy getting his FFXIV incarnation to level 50 before the new expansion drops.

2. What’s your favorite story/favorite post you’ve written?

Rose & Sunflower, of course, but Legend was a cute story and I’m pleased with it. The R&S project has been a lot of fun and I’ve had a number of great moments in all three books. Some of my favorites are easily the Chatter logs (basically the equivalent of Discord in this universe). Also, I LOVE writing dialogue for Sam, and have given him so many good one-liners and moments, alternating between having him be the butt of a joke or making him a cheeky troll. One I particularly love is partway through book 2 where Lysander notes aloud that “I’m heterochromatic” when he discovers that he suddenly has mismatched eyes, and Sam remarks that he thought that “you like both men AND women.” One of the other best moments in general came early on from book one at the end of chapter 7. (The people in chat are Sebastian, Abigail, Sam, and then Lysander, in that order):

As he sat down on the edge of his bed to take off his boots his phone chirped with a Chatter message. Curious, he picked up his phone and was greeted with a shirtless photo of Sam, taken in the bathroom mirror, while making the for-some-reason-popular kissy-face.

 3. Who do you personally ship in your story?

Lysander/Elliott of course, but non-canon to “my universe” I think that Sam and Sebastian are a great match, and in-story I really wish I’d taken the time to develop Sam and Penny together a bit more. They’re such a cute couple, and I really got a kick out of how he’s such a snarky, energetic pain in the ass around his friends, but turns into a blushing, grinning doofus around Penny, because she’s a sweet cinnamon roll and he will protect her. Though I do love the bromance that ended up growing between Sam and Lysander, they are such adorable and awful shits together when they’re up to something! :D

 4: Who do you think has had the most character development in your story (bonus: why)

Funny enough, Elliott. Lysander got a lot of personal development over book 1 (and a bit more in book 2), but for the most part he was already mostly self-actualized. He was running from a problem that he’d created, and had a few self-esteem/confidence issues, but overall his character arc through the first (and technically the third) book was a story of redemption, ultimately. Elliott, however, definitely changed since the moment you meet him, and in book 3 (which tells events from his side), you get a much bigger picture of how he changed and developed thanks to his friendship (and later, relationship) with Lysander. His is much closer to a coming-of-age story in that regard, and he is a distinctly different person at the end of that story (and therefore the start of book 2) than he was at the beginning.

Friendships I'd like to see more of in Season 4 of Riverdale

Jughead & Veronica: I'd really like them to continue this teasing frenemies theme though, but I'd like to see more scenes that imply how they actually care for each other and accept each other as part of their closest friends group outside of Betty and Archie.

Kevin & Archie: Tbh, it would be pretty great if Kevin would just go back to normal in general but I think a Karchie friendship would be the cutest thing and I can honestly imagine them being supportive of each other and humorous as well .

Sweet Pea & Fangs: First of all, this only counts if Fangs is still alive what I really hope. Secondly, I'd like them to have a serious talk about what happened at the Farm and why Fangs got so dependent on it. This to provide a comeback of a classic Swangs bromance and I'm happy

Veronica & Toni: We've heard from both Vanessa Morgan and Camila Mendes that they are Lopaz enthusiasts and believe they could be dating if Toni wasn't with Cheryl and V would explore her sexuality, which is almost confirmed bisexual, more. I'd at least like to see them having a conversation about this topic when Veronica gets caught up in it, because a coming out storyline would be great for her I think.

Toni & Jughead: At this point, I just wonder what happened? Like, in S2 they were really good friends or at least seemed to be and now Toni is only around Cheryl. Honestly, their friendship has just too much potential to get wasted.

Betty & Cheryl: They also had a bond in S2 when Cheryl helped Betty with finding the Black Hood. I think they are good at investigating together and I also want to see them supporting each other and maybe talk about their mental health or something.

Betty & Toni: If we're already on it, we can go further. I think their friendship has a lot of potential as well. I'd like them to just hang out and have a relaxed talk about random things or something, just some Sunday morning vibes, bc idk, I think that would fit them well.

Archie & Reggie: Despite the whole Veronica love triangle thing I want to see more of their friendship. Like, just them hanging out together and gossip and watch other people on the streets while sipping slurpees and feeling cool. Just imagine that.

Jughead & Cheryl: I've been waiting for this since S1 and I feel like they've been very close to something friendship-like very often but then just some drama happened and now they either don't care about each other at all or have a hatred against each other. I'd like to see them actually at least respecting the other and having like a normal conversation.

Archie & Cheryl: Their relationship in S1 was precious and healthy as hell. I want them to have this brother-sister like relationship again. Cheryl does really have problems with getting over Jason's death and I think maybe someone who can be a brother figure to her could really help her getting over it. Also, Archie has shown several times that he cares for Cheryl.

Archie & Jellybean: Idk how but I would do anything to see this. Like, Jellybean being scared because of the whole sacrificing thing and Archie being like yeah, relate. I'd be okay if they continued JB's crush on Archie, it's adorable, but it would also be cute if JB would see Archie as some sort of second brother, who is so much different from Jughead and to whom she can talk about other things and all.

Betty & Jellybean: They would also be so adorable I think. I would want them to talk about Jughead definitely and Jellybean kind of being like: "Why the hell are you dating my brother, you could have any guy". Also, they could be car engineer buddies.

Archie & Betty & Jughead: One of my all time favorite friendship triangles. I would love to see like a flashback episode of them being kids and doing stuff together, or sometimes Archie with Betty and Archie with Jughead since he was kind of the central with Betty and Jug being his best friends. Also, maybe Jughead being jealous because of Archie's friendship with Betty (since FP has worked for Fred way before they were born so I figured they must have known each other since their birth) and therefore not really liking her at first and aaarrgh. So many possibilities!!

Jughead & Reggie: Oof, this one. Okay so, as far as we know Reggie was kind of a bully to Jughead in the past and I'd definitely like him to redeem himself but firstly like working together with the Core Four or something and obviously always pushing Jughead in front of the bus for ridiculous reasons and annoying the shit out of him, until Jughead like has it and pulls some Serpent King at him. Just so Reggie gets enough respect to finally apologize and them being able to have this frenemies relationship. (I'm a sucker for that, you know.)

Jughead & Sweet Pea: I just want to see more of this. I would want an episode like dedicated to another Core Four again like in Bizarrodale. This time I'd like it to be like Swangs, Toni and maybe a new character or someone, but I'd definitely want a storyline that has something to do with Sweet Pea's past and he needs Jughead's help to figure something out since he's definitely the closest one with detective skills Sweet Pea knows. Maybe we could also actually get to know Sweet Pea's real name.

Sweet Pea & Reggie: I know - they never interacted. But I really want them to. I would like at least one scene where there are like bonding over being pissed that the girls they liked would rather be with Archie than with them, and maybe teasing Archie also with it and having their satisfaction until Archie is just pissed as fuck and everyone else is well entertained.

Sweet Pea & Kevin: Maybe not exactly a friendship scene though, but more like if they find out where Fangs is and Kevin's just like: "Now let's go save my boyfriend!" And then Sweet Pea just staring at him and going: "...yeah. Totally. Because you are totally the most important person to him." And the rest of the episode Kevin would just be awkward and Sweet Pea shooting him killer looks all the time.

Toni & Sweet Pea & Fangs: In fanfictions they are always friends, I want them to be friends in canon as well. They would be a great friendship triangle and they could also be featured in that flashback episode. I'd definitely want to see Fangs and Sweet Pea bashing about Cheryl though and Toni trying to defend her.

Cheryl & Sweet Pea & Fangs: Chaos overload. I'd just like to see them roasting each other 24/7 but first of all Cheryl actually apologizing to Swangs for having them beaten up for zero (0) reason.

Jughead & Fangs: They have shown much potential the previous seasons and also Jughead saying Fangs is like a brother to him was really cute imo, so I would definitely like them to develop that friendship.

Archie & Vegas: They are the BroTP. Next question. (Also, it would mean more Vegas screen time!)

Veronica & Cheryl: They were frenemy excellence in S1, Veronica helped Cheryl through her grieving, they supported each other, I even suspect they were both making each other questioning their sexuality. Yeah, definitely development that got thrown out a window. I wanna see more of them, though.

Sweet Pea & Jughead & Veronica & Toni: Okay, I know this sounds like wtf but hear me out: If this would happen like in this alternate Core Four episode I was already implying, like Sweet Pea and Jughead investigating something and Lopaz investigating something the same time where they are literally solving the same case in the end and get it together with each other's help, that's chaotic neutral energy at its finest and I would die to see this. Okay, well, maybe not, but I'd still like to see it though.

Archie & Ricky: I would like Archie to like fix Ricky's disturbed way of thinking by supporting him and maybe them having a talk about fears and why Ricky thought that the Gargoyles would be right for him. I would want them to talk about Joaquin as well and maybe Archie being some kind of big brother to Ricky in the end.

Betty & Ethel: They definitely make a decent team as we have already seen. I also would like Ethel to apologize to Betty for being so rude to her all the time and Betty forgiving her because she was brainwashed by the game and all.

Veronica & Ethel: I know it's weird, but they also have thrown some shade at each other the other time - and milkshakes - so I would want them to get together somehow and realize that they are actually both nice persons.

Bruh, I hope I didn't forget anything now because Riverdale has honestly so many characters and somehow does so little with them if it comes to interaction and friendships and all, it's kind of frustrating. Of course I also want to keep the OGs with Jarchie and Beronica, I hope that's clear because I love them. So, yeah, I spent about an hour writing this on my phone now so I hope you at least enjoy, if not agree with me.

RedRosette J: This episode was an interesting one for me because time-wise, there was more bromance and Hwarang’s first day than this whole pointless romance. There were a lot of LOLs with the dangling from the ceiling like meat stuff (Honestly, these two should really just do comedy) and some more time spent with the awkward “you’re-my-‘brother’-but-you-look-super-hot-with-your-shirt-off” stuff. I’m slightly disappointed because I thought we’d be getting more of Taehyung and we really haven’t been seeing much of him. He wasn’t even in the inauguration scene! Does that mean he’s such a minor character that he’s not even important enough to be in it? Also, for me it still feels a bit slow and draggy. It’s 5 episodes and there’s still barely any Hwarang antics. Let’s get a move on already!

Jubiemon J: I was conflicted with this episode because the dangling meat and fighting scenes were kind of dragged out. However, I did enjoy some parts of it because Hyungsik waking up surprised that he was dangling there was hilarious. I’m also kind of disappointed about Taehyung’s lack of appearance and the feminine character’s sudden appearance at the very end. I feel like those two characters, especially the feminine one, did not get a proper introduction. I know that it’s hard to pave the background stories of all characters, but when the trailer and interviews kept suggesting that each would have their own story, I was quite disappointed that that wasn’t the case. I felt like they really put Taehyung out there to grab the BTS fans’ attention, when really he’s only in like 6 mins from ep 1 – now. I also agree with RedRosette that not much as happened, so I do hope that the plot carries forward faster.

RedRosette J: This development was a long time coming. I mean if you decide to go on the faux-brother path, other characters have to be brought up to speed so the awkwardness can continue. You can literally see Ji Dwi’s face change when Sun Woo says that Aro is his sister. I think at that point he was doing some serious mental calculations as to how much of an ass he’s been to this guy who potentially could make or break a future with the girl. It’s funny how even though it’s been said out aloud, Ji Dwi doesn’t really seem to believe that they are just brother-and-sister. (The whole rescue scene where he’s just over the affection? LOL! yea he’s not buying it). I think this bit of information is also important for Ji Dwi to know so that he realizes that Sun Woo is not really a threat to him per se and start being friends. Yea I think recalculations are in order when a situation like this arises. I mean, you need this guy to be on your side, if anything else is to progress. Am I right?

Jubiemon J: Yes, I think this strategy change makes sense. We all want to suck up to our crush’s sibling to hopefully get a good word in from the sibling. I think the change from Ji Dwi’s face was really a great job done by Hyungsik. At first I thought Ji Dwi really didn’t like Aro because he mentioned how she was half-blood and that Sunwoo should stay away from her because of that. That seemed to be out of character in my opinion. Then that statement from Ji Dwi made a whole lot of sense as soon as he became friendlier to Sunwoo upon hearing that Aro is Sunwoo’s sister. Ji Dwi is really just sneaky. Hahaha. (I’m not convinced that his love for Aro is actually love; it’s more like lust or a crush.)

Issue 2: Whether Ji Dwi (Hyungsik’s character) and Sun Woo’s bromance is far, far, far more interesting than the romantic story lines?

RedRosette J: I think so. Especially because I think that both characters are very similar and have a lot to share if they only stop this pointless pissing contest and fighting over a girl. Both characters were essentially abandoned and grew up outside the home, both characters have issues with self worth, both characters are dealing with existential crises at the same time. I think that if they lean on each other that they could be great friends. The start of which we saw when Ji Dwi piggybacked a drunk Sun Woo back to their room (OMG they’re roomies too!!!!). I think that having a friendship form between these two characters will be a far more interesting journey to watch than the romantic love lines.

Jubiemon J: I like their bromance a lot! I think they have more chemistry than Aro x Ji Dwi or Aro x  Sunwoo. I find their bickering to be funny and cute. I found it hilarious when Ji Dwi kept whistling. I was hoping for a horse but who knew he had some assassin around? I agree with what RedRosette said about their similarities and how they could relate to each other. I’m waiting for the moment when they really become bffs.

RedRosette J: Although in theory this sounds like so much fun and could lead to some super hilarious living situations, I feel like the reality of this is probably not going to be so great. There’s a reason that the administration at universities pick your roommates for you (most of the time). Just imagine if this scenario actually happened? OMG. Please No. But then again, if there were no rules and you could literally fight people for the best rooms, it would seriously end up being a Hunger Games-esque scenario like in this episode and in reality, no one wants that. I think the alcohol for introduction sounds fun (this exists already pretty much. It’s called Frosh Week or Freshers Week) but let’s just leave it at fun and not involve the roommate sorting.

Jubiemon J: I feel like this scene reminded me of some initiation when you’re joining a frat/sorority. I didn’t quite enjoy this scene that much. Plus, they made all the guys turn into fighting drunkards. There are so many different drunks. I’ve met people who just sleep, who start talking a lot and repeating things, who strip, and more. I wished that they had shown different types of drunk people. Where was Taehyung in this scene as well?

Why isn’t Taehyung’s character sharing a room with the main characters? At least he had more screen time than Pretty Boy!! I’m not okay with this. It is so not believable that this guy just randomly shows up. Ugh.

Jubiemon J: I was really surprised when I saw this character pop out. Even Ji Dwi freaked out. I would too. I really don’t think this introduction was believable and it just seemed to come out of nowhere. Magic?

Issue 5: Whether there is always some prissy biatch being a total tattletale at the start of a new project?

RedRosette J: Why is there always this person? In the drama-verse and in real life too! It’s impossible to start doing anything without there being some prissy biatch hell bent on making everyone’s lives miserable by taking everything way too seriously and being a total tattletale about everything. The Assistant Person is the definition of a prissy biatch. I can’t even. I guess drama really does reflect life. Also, I guess they need a prissy biatch to make Sung Dong Il’s character stand out more as a rebellious ‘I-give-zero-shits’ teacher.

Jubiemon J: Ah, there’s always that one person doing all the annoying stuff and bitching to someone else. That’s life.
