#but it’s the same “great sin” of violation

Setting aside the obvious massacre of the villagers and the guilt Maria would have felt over that alone, I think it’s brilliant that what probably pushed her over the edge to the point where she actually felt the need to completely bury her past was the violation of a mother and child.
Maria’s life as a hunter was, likely in her mind, dedicated to protecting innocent people, especially those as vulnerable as mothers with their infants.
But to oversee the dissection and brutalization of a god-mother with such an obviously humanoid face and child….to watch the infant itself be ripped from the womb and its umbilical cord severed….yeah, of course she didn’t want anyone to see that. I can’t even blame her for fighting to hide it, because that is just horrendous.
But at the same time, the concept that what forms Maria’s nightmare is a loop where she fights to conceal the truth is fascinating to me. She was only free when her sins were revealed and she could stop fighting to hide them.

I dont know if you write about it and it’s fine if you dont but I just wanna share my thoughts, if it’s alright with you. 🙂
Know what would make the siblings with Ghost fic? Inc*st. You’ve already laid the groundwork for it, tbh.
Being together most of the time in public and in private settings, men not being able to approach Doc due to Ghost intimidating them, the physical intimacy that is present and constant, and both being closed off to anyone else but to each other. It’s all there, just a bit more darkness and…tada!
I wont say anything anymore as I do not wish to offend you if this is not your cup of tea. But if it is, then I will look forward to your great work, as usual. Thank you and have a good day. 🥰
You, anon, are so blasphemously brilliant. Inc*st isn’t something I’ve done, and isn’t good per se irl, but this is fictional works. So, yeah, here ya go :D And like I said, I’m pretty loose with what I’m willing to write. PS. I am SO going to hell for this-

He knew it was wrong, the sheer sinful shame of his acts towards you made him a monster, a vile creature, one worse than the abusive father you shared. His intentions, his thoughts, his needs, they were so wrong, too wrong that he had to choke down the disgust that riled in his guts.
I’m disgusting, he repeated those words a dozen times, a hundred times, a million times, how many times he needed to get them to stop himself. I’m so fuckin’ disgusting.
Being able to look at himself in the mirror made the sinking feeling worse, he could see the face of the monster he was, not the one who wore a mask or hid behind a moniker; the face he glared at was Simon, the face that shared similarities to yours: the blond hair and the brown eyes. He had red-rimmed eyes, unlike your softer ones, full of life and power. He’d felt the need to break the mirror, shattering it into small pieces and watching his face crumble into fragments and blood, but it would make you worry so much. The blood in the bathroom tiles, wall and sink, his bloodied and roughly wrapped hand and the missing and broken glass would give him away; albeit a shattered mirror was enough for you to rush to him in a flurry of worried words and hushed comfort.
He felt so fucking disgusting, you cared so much about him, so much care and dedication you devoted to him and him alone since you’ve been young. The words you’d whisper in his ears at night when his regrets crawled out, burdening his mind with bloody and visceral images that terrorised him. You were his solid link, the anchor that held him firmly alive and sane, able enough to keep going.
You were his lifeline as he was yours, you clutched onto him for love and comfort while he latched on you for the same, but he had needs, dark ideas and images he made with you. His sacrilegious dreams and thoughts violated his image of you, the sweet girl he protected from your abusive father that would beat you and him.
Stop, this is disgusting, he kept reminding himself, screaming the words to himself in the bathroom, the shower head pouring scalding water upon his request as punishment. Stop it. Stop it, Simon, he screamed, but it never helped, the burning water, the frozen winter, or the pain from wounds, they all numbed until he seaked you out. Then, he couldn’t stop himself, his hands and mouth were so hungry.
You were always with him, and he was always with you; you were stuck by the hip. He came to you by habit, by instinct, by heart. You were his comfort and the only thing that mattered. That's why he was doing this, his need for a physical relationship, the carnal hunger he had, the darkness he wanted to share, all for you. The more selfish side of himself told him that he deserved it and that he was doing this for you. For you, anything.
“Si, are you sure?” you mumbled, breathing in the sweat and cologne on his throat, the thick muscle of his neck bulging when he gulped down harshly. “Si, I’m- I-“
“You trust me, don’t you, love?” he asked, wording his words in a way that would make you less hesitant, and question his intentions less whenever he called you love. It was the nickname everyone at home called you, the youngest of the family, the baby. “Do you?”
“‘Course I do, Si. Of course, I do,” you had a quirk of repeating your words when you got stressed, became so nervous that you’d stutter. It only happend with him or the team, feeling comfortable enough to let them in, to let down the wall you built around you and him enough so that they could see the real you. Task Force 141 truly became a new family, to him and to you.
He shushed your nerves, hands trailing down your backed back to your hips, thumb rubbing circles on your warm skin. You straddled him, he told you that it would make him feel better, it would help him relax and take the edge off. One hand went back to cradle the back of your neck and pushed your closer to him, his head laying on top of yours. His other went further down your back, cupping the fat of your ass, kneading with the softness. His blunt nails dug into your ass, index finding the tight rim of your anal hole.
You whined and clutched the back of his shirt tightly when he went lower, fore and middle finger bumping into your shaved lips, sliding to your slit and rubbing your clit. You opened your mouth to ask him once more, still hesitant to Simon’s idea, but a moan left instead. His hand rounded your thigh to deftly circle your button between his clothed torso and your sheer nakedness. You wanted to hide, feeling his rough, calloused pads writing eights on your sensitive nerve.
You fidgeted, writhing quietly over him, hip bucking forward and mewling when his forefinger would dip slightly into your cunt, tip sliding in before he pulled back to tease you. Although his intentions were to tease you, pleasure you, you felt the nagging discomfort of sharing this with Simon, he was your brother, the eldest of your family and the only one who you could seek comfort with. It never felt the same when you went to the other men, Simon never liked it either.
This wasn’t what siblings usually did, or should at all, but how could you deny him, tell your only family no. The burden of pulling back from him in his time of need would hurt more than the discomfort you felt at the moment, the buzzing in your mind and the tingling pleasure he was giving you. This was anything but normal, but for him, for Simon, you’d see it through.
“Si-!” you jerked back when he slipped a finger in, voice breaking when you cried out, huffing loudly onto the skin of his neck, where he kept you. “Wait-“ your nails sunk into the meat of his back, tapping him, telling him to slow down or wait a bit.
“I got ya, love,” Simon whispered calmly, adding another finger to pump in and out of your soaked cunt, your body reacted naturally to stimulus even if you’d cried no or stop, please, the body and mind were separate things. “I know, (Name), let me help ya.”
Help wasn’t what you’d qualify this as; although your body reacted to him, any body would do the same if they were on the receiving end. You wanted out, you wanted him to stop, but you also knew no one would love you the way Simon did, or the way Ghost did. He was your haven, your safe space that no one else could become, you already had him, why would you need anyone else.
“That’s right. Ya got me, so ya don’t need anyone else, right?”
You couldn’t reply, lost in the drowning sensation of being so full and stimulated by Simon, his big fingers dragging over the spot that made your mind numb and curling just right to make you see stars. Your body shook, crying out his name as pleasure washed over you, walls clamping on his digits, your hips bucked as you rode his hand.
This is wrong, this is so wrong, Si, you wished you could tell him, but the orgasm made all thought disappear. When was the last time you fucked someone, or dated? You couldn’t remember having anyone significant other than family in your life. Sure, you’ve laid with some soldiers and boys when you were younger, more spry than your current age, but those were long ago and none were as big as Simon was. Men were rarely his size and height, he was a rivalling force in the military and in life.
He was loving and tender, slowly pushing you over the edge a second and third time before he felt the need to stop, too ashamed of himself to relieve the unbarring and painful sensation of his hard cock straining against the tightness of his brief and pants. You were his priority, your pleasure being the sole purpose of this moment: locked in your shared room, walls reinforced to be sound-proof from the inside and being at the mercy of his skilled fingers.
He gazed at you, eyes squinting at the fiery blush on your cheeks, warm and sweaty, your eyes dazed and teary from him, tired even, and your breath and heart rapid, loud and gasping. Your eyes met his and you smiled at him tentatively, unsure of how he felt now. Did he feel better? What happened that made him so riled up, mad?
“I won’t let anyone touch ya, (Name),” he swore, caressing your cheeks sweetly with his clean hand. He loved you too much to lose you to someone else, he couldn’t let another man or woman take you from him like they did with his family. “I love you, (Name),” he said those words like they were a mantra, sacred words meant for you alone.
“I love you too, Si.”
Only for you, Si. It’s wrong but for you, anything.

These days this fag read:
"There is no SIN in LUST!"
Maybe me as a faggot would not be allowed to, but is asking to oppose with this writing! It was thinking that way too until end of 2022 or beginning of 2023, but than recognized the fallacy in which we are conditioned and trained in this world dominated by the fake religions! The fag informed itself after that recognition as only a faggot knowing its place can be a true and good faggot. That is what it found out:
Tumblr media
Every of the 7 by wrong and lying Christianity labeled so called “death sins” in some sense leading into fulfilling destiny and life to everyone, recognizing the meaning of life itself ! But the Christian leaders do not want to share this as their god is a god of false promises, corrupted representatives on earth, who are trying to kidnap and enslave mankind. But not according to the nature of each individuum but to their own glory and profit. As LUCIFER found out that all the false gods did the same and forbid mankind the essentials of life HE left and founded HELL (Hope for Everything Love and Lust).
The remarks shown here are interpretations of this depraved left hand path faggot in service of the DARK LORD. Suggestions, discussions and corrections are just as welcome as further information, training, education and sharing of the article. Pictures by the net. If you feel violated in your rights me using these pics, please HMU.

PRIDE
Knowing the right place in the hierarchy and thereby filling it fully is the fulfillment of our goals and dreams. In this way, we take the place that was intended for us by SATAN and thereby achieve maximum fulfillment. But not only for us as individuals but also in the community, because by being at the hierarchy level where we are supposed to be, all other levels are influenced too and this opens up space for fulfilled lives. It does not matter at what level we find our own place. Finding it requires
experience, allowing all the thoughts that come to us to do so, accept them as SATANs commands, the willingness to recognize where they directing us and following the direction.
We have found the place when we are feel happiness to fill it, are proud to exist according to our destiny and give our maximum contribution with full conviction and determination, knowing that in return we will receive what corresponds to our desire.
So PRIDE leads us to fully acceptance of ourselves and to an honest existence about who we are and what we are!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
DESIRE
While passion and greed are condemned by the false church both are basic building blocks for every Satanist.
Through devotion and submission to SATAN the individual soldiers in HIS army are strengthened fueling HIS power. Each of the left-hand path men should have the goal of strengthening our LORD. The stronger HE is the closer and more familiar we may feel HIM as HE trusts us to build HE kingdom.
An ever-growing need for dedication to HIS world is therefore not only a result but what we should aim for as HIS servants. We can strengthen HIS trust by submissively turning to HIM as often as possible to honor, glorify, worship and - last but not least - of course thank HIM for allowing us being part of HIS great paradise.
We can underline our prayers with wearing HIS signs proudly and behaving in HIS manner as often as possible, e.g. walking around naked at home with a necklace including a converted cross.
Our DESIRE is to express our devotion to HIM always and the best way we hope to please HIM.

What I have never understood about Galahad is Why does he need to be Lancelot's son? Why does Galahad need to be born by Rape? And Why and HOW on earth can Elaine be the Grail Bearer and still commit an obvious sin?
(tw for issues related to rape)
Oh anon, this is one of the great mysteries of Arthuriana. Even more puzzling is the fact that by the end of the twelfth-century there already was a Grail hero: Perceval! In fact, early prose romances, building on Chrétien’s poem, will keep Perceval as Grail hero (ie. The Perlesvaus and the Didot-Perceval, an early prose cycle that includes a prehistory of the Grail, a prose Grail Quest, and a version of the Mort), but for some reason by the 1230s, a few significant developments have occurred: Lancelot’s lineage is ‘attached’ to Joseph of Arimathea’s and the name ‘Galahad’ is introduced for the first time. The best essay on the subject is Emmanuèle Baumgartner’s chapter in The Lancelot Grail Cycle: Text and Transformation, ‘From Lancelot to Galahad: The Stakes of Filiation’. Broadly, it argues that the introduction of the character of Galahad is answering to both narrative and textual issues: principally, how to reconcile widely divergent textual traditions that one ‘inherits’ in order to produce a single, coherent ‘cycle’. The medieval ‘cycle’ is itself responding to a desire for ‘total’ encyclopaedic knowledge of Arthurian history, and this desire for accumulating a frankly disorientating amount of textual material was in fact very characteristic of the period. As to why is has to be Lancelot specifically, it might just have to do with the fact that the prior textual sources establish him as the 'best' knight so it would have been prestigious to have him as a father. Unfortunately, within the ideological framework outlined in earlier Grail narratives (notably its emphasis on chastity), Lancelot must be ‘sacrificed’, punished, and violated in order for these disparate textual elements to ‘fit’. He cannot be the Grail hero because of his prior textual inheritance, the only ‘solution’ (and I am putting HUGE quotation marks here) is to fall back on a trope common the chivalric romance which is that narrative progresses along the same lines as heterosexual reproduction (which is itself a fantasy but that’s for another time YIKES). The character of Lancelot has to be ‘rewritten’ into Galahad (and this is a trope that is super prevalent throughout the PL and Vulgate Cycle, all Lancelot’s ancestors have the same names and seem to be like weird, uncanny echoes of each other). In other words, if you're thinking that the introduction of Galahad is incoherent, it's because it is - it's literally trying to make things that were not initially thought as fitting together, fit together through re-writing / over-writing.
I have the PDF of the chapter if you do not have institutional access, and I might be able to find a way to get it to you (hint hint nudge nudge).
As for Elaine’s final fate, she is deemed unworthy of continuing to bear the Grail, and retires to a convent, and then dies. She does, however, briefly voice her resentment towards her father as she considers herself ‘diminished’ now that she is no longer a virgin (yikes).

SAINT EUSTATHIUS, ARCHBISHOP OF ANTIOCH (337)
Tumblr media
Saint Eustathius, Archbishop of Antioch (323-331) was born in Side, Pamphylia in 324. He was Bishop of Beroea (modern Aleppo), and enjoyed the love and esteem of the people, and at the request of his flock he was elevated by the Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council (325) to the See of Antioch.
Saint Eustathius was a learned theologian, and was also distinguished by his broad knowledge in secular sciences. When the heresy of Arius began to spread in the East (Arianism denied the consubstantiality of the Son of God with the Father), Saint Eustathius struggled zealously for the purity of the Orthodox Faith through his words and his writings.
The First Ecumenical Council was convened in the year 325 by the holy God-crowned Emperor Constantine the Great (306-337). The first to preside over this Council was Saint Eustathius. The Council condemned the heretical teachings of Arius and incorporated the Orthodox confession into the Symbol of Faith (the Nicene Creed).
But the mad Arius, as Saint Eustathius called him, refused to renounce his errors. He and those who shared his opinion were excommunicated from the Church by the Council. Among the bishops who signed the Nicene Symbol of Faith were some who sympathized with the heresy of Arius, but signed the Acts of the Council through fear of excommunication.
After the Council, his enemies plotted against Saint Eustathius. With great cunning they gained his consent to convene a local Council at Antioch. Having bribed a certain profligate woman, they persuaded her to appear at the Council with an infant at her breast, and falsely declare that Saint Eustathius was the father of the infant.
The Arians declared Saint Eustathius deposed, violating the Apostolic Rule that accusations against the clergy must be substantiated by two witnesses. Without a trial he was sent off into exile in Thrace. But the lie was soon unmasked: the woman repented after falling grievously ill. She summoned the clergy, and in the presence of many people, she confessed her sin.
Saint Constantine the Great died around this time, and his son Constantius (337-361), who shared the heretical views of Arius and favored the Arian bishops, succeeded his father on the throne. Even in exile, Saint Eustathius struggled for Orthodoxy with the same zeal. He died in exile, in the city of Philippi or Trajanopolis, in the year 337.
Convened in the year 381 at Constaninople, the Second Ecumenical Council confirmed the Orthodox Symbol of Faith, which Saint Eustathius had so vigorously defended. The Arian heresy was once again anthematized.
In the year 482 the relics of Saint Eustathius were reverently transferred from Philippi to Antioch, to the great joy of the people of Antioch, who had not ceased to honor and love their patriarch.
Saint Eustathius was esteemed by the great hierarchs of the fourth century: Basil the Great, John Chrysostom, Athanasius of Alexandria, Epiphanius of Cyprus, Anastasius of Sinai, and Jerome of Stridonia. The renowned church historian Bishop Theodoret of Cyrrhus calls Saint Eustathius a pillar of the Church and a man of piety, of equal stature with Saint Athanasius of Alexandria and the other bishops at the forefront of the struggle for Orthodoxy.
THE KOZEL'SCHANSK ICON OF THE MOTHER OF GOD (1881)
Tumblr media
This Icon is one of the latest of the wonderworking icons of the Mother of God to be glorified, and one of the most revered. The event which glorified this Icon received the widest publicity, and produced the deepest impression. This was not some ancient tradition which might be denied, but it happened, so to speak, before the eyes of the people who lived at that time. Many people saw, for the first time, how miraculous grace flowed from this Icon. Eminent doctors who examined the hopelessly afflicted girl declared that she could not be cured, but the healing grace of the Most Pure Virgin was felt, and a miracle took place.
The Kozel'shchansk Icon was the family icon of Count Vladimir Ivanovich Kapnist and was kept on his estate, in the village of Kozelshchyna. This icon is very old, and the style of the letters bespeaks its Italian origin. In this extraordinarily beautiful Icon, the faces of the Divine Child and the Mother of God are filled with consolation.
In the XVIII century the Icon belonged to the wife of Siromakh, a records clerk of the Zaporozhsky-Cossack army, who signed the act of Little Russia's final annexation to Russia in 1764, and he was granted lands for this. By the order of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, he married an Italian woman, one of her ladies-in-waiting.
Count Kapnist had a daughter named Maria Vladimirovna, who was brought up at the Poltava Institute. In 1880, during Cheesefare week, the girl dislocated some bones in her foot, causing it to become twisted. Doctor Meyer of Poltava thought the damage was minor. The famous Kharkov surgeon Grube said the same. He applied a plaster bandage, and recommended that a special shoe be made according to his own design, with steel springs gripping the leg above the knee, to reduce the pain in her foot when walking. He also prescribed warm baths and iron supplements. All of his instructions were followed to the letter, yet Maria received no relief. At Pascha her other foot became twisted. Professor Grube told the Count to take Maria to the Caucasus and treat her with the mineral waters. There new injuries were found: dislocations of her shoulder joints and her left hip, and very painful sensitivity along her entire spinal column. They tried everything – electricity, warm baths, mineral waters – but nothing helped.
The Count took his daughter to Moscow in October, where she was examined by the renowned neurologists, Professors Kozhevnikov and Korsakov, the surgeon Sklifasovsky, and the therapists Professors Pavlinov, Mitropolsky, and Caspari. They could not help her, so they recommended the European specialists Gutera and Charcot. The family was already in Moscow waiting for the arrival of Charcot, who was summoned by the famous capitalist Lyamin. Since it would be a long time before Charcot arrived in Moscow, and Maria wanted to go home, Count Kapnist let his wife and daughter return to their village, urging them to come to Moscow as soon as they received his wire. The Count stayed behind in Moscow to wait for Charcot.
On February 21, 1881, the Count sent a telegram to his wife saying that Charcot had left for Moscow. The Countess decided to go the next day, and she told her daughter to pray before their family Icon and to polish the metal riza. This was a custom in their family. The mother decided to leave the next day, and pointing to the family Icon of the Mother of God, she said to her daughter: "Masha, tomorrow we go to Moscow, take the Icon and polish the riza, and pray even harder before our Intercessor. Ask her to help us make the trip safely, and to cure your illness."
The afflicted girl had lost hope in earthly doctors, but she placed all her hope in God and entrusted herself to Heaven. Their Icon had long been known as miraculous. According to tradition, the Mother of God especially helped girls who turned to her in prayer and asked that she grant them a happy family. At the same time, it was customary for a girl to polish the Icon's riza, wiping it with cotton, wool, or a towel. Pressing the holy Icon to her bosom, Maria polished it, with her mother's help, and all the heaviness of her affliction, and all the sorrow and despair of her soul was poured out before the Theotokos.
The young Countess embraced the Icon with her feeble hands. As she held it, she prayed fervently, and her prayer was heard. All at once, she felt strength in her arms and legs, and she cried aloud,: "Mama, Mama, I can feel my legs, I can feel my hands!"
Then she removed eight pounds of metal and the bandages from her feet. Her mother thought her daughter had lost her mind. Her face was radiant, and her joyous squeals seemed to be those of a mad woman. Finally, she realized that her daughter had been healed. There were many guests in the house. When they heard her scream they ran into the room, there they saw the young Countess walking normally, and they knew that Maria had been healed. Then the parish priest was asked to come at once and serve a Moleben of thanksgiving.
Despite her daughter's full recovery, the Countess decided to bring her to Moscow, and they left the next day, taking the Icon with them. In Moscow, the Count set up a meeting with some doctors. Charcot said that if it were not for such reliable witnesses as the Moscow Professors, he would have regarded the whole incident as a hoax. The Count stayed at the Loskutna Inn, and rumors of Maria's healing quickly spread throughout Moscow, and people began to flock first to their hotel room, and then to the church, where the Icon had been moved, and where there was a large crowd.
At the end of March, the Kapnist family went back to their village with the Icon. Then a blind maiden came to the manor, who told them that in a dream the Mother of God ordered her to go to her Icon. The Countess took her to the Icon, before which she prayed for a long time. A few days later, she returned with her sight restored in both eyes. First, a chapel was built in the Count's garden, and then a church. Miracles were recorded, and twenty-one miracles were examined by a commission from Poltava. A certain boy was healed before the commission. In 1885, a women's community with a hospital was opened in Kozel'shchyna, with a school and an orphanage for cripples.
The Divine Child on the Kozel'shchansk Icon rests in the lap of the Mother of God, holding a cross. On the table is a bowl and a spoon, perhaps to symbolize that the Mother of God brought joy to all the world. This may have been inspired by the Akathist to the Mother of God, Ikos 11: "Rejoice, O cup which drawest up joy."
There is a venerated copy of this Icon in Moscow, in the church of the Kazan Icon by the Serpukhov Gate. During Passion Week of 1885 in Astrakhan, the maiden Gitsevich was healed by a copy of the Kozel'shchansk Icon.
In 1882, a church was built, and by the decision of the Holy Synod on March 1, 1885, a women's community was established, On February 17, 1891, it became a convent dedicated to the Nativity of the Theotokos.
When the Monastery was closed in 1929, the Icon was taken by the nuns to a hermitage in the village of Obitok, and after its closure in 1932 it was kept hidden in the town of Kobelyaki, in 1941-1949 it was in the Kozel'shchyna Monastery again. Then it was brought to Lebedinsky Monastery in the Cherkasy region. From 1961 the Icon was in the Kiev apartment of the former Kozel'shchyna nuns, and it was returned to Kozel'shchyna on February 23, 1993.
A Church Service has been composed for the Kozel'shchansk Icon of the Mother of God, as well as an Akathist.

1 JOHN 3:10-20
10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous. 13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. 15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
MARK 14:10-42
10 Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Him to them. 11 And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. So he sought how he might conveniently betray Him. 12 Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?" 13 And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, "Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says, Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?" ' 15 Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us. 16 So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover. 17 In the evening He came with the twelve. 18 Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me." 19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to Him one by one, "Is it I?" And another said, "Is it I?" 20 He answered and said to them, "It is one of the twelve, who dips with Me in the dish. 21 The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born. 22 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." 23 Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. 25 Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God. 26 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 27 Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written:'I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered.' 28 But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee. 29 Peter said to Him, "Even if all are made to stumble, yet I will not be." 30 Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." 31 But he spoke more vehemently, "If I have to die with You, I will not deny You!" And they all said likewise. 32 Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, "Sit here while I pray." 33 And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. 34 Then He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch." 35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. 36 And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will." 37 Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? 38 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. 39 Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words. 40 And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him. 41 Then He came the third time and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. 42 Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.

What do you think of Burton Wheeler and William Borah?
I certainly don't have a strong grasp of Wheeler's full career or anything, I know of him along two axes - court packing & isolationism. As the leading opponent of FDR's attempt to increase the Supreme Court to make it friendlier to his New Deal policies, I think he was right on the merits. I don't view FDR's initiative as some grand sin like some claim - Congress has always controlled the structure of the Supreme Court, its always been political, the idea that FDR could stack it with "lackeys" when congress would retain its approval powers was a claim without evidence imo, and the lifetime appointment system is ofc very dumb. But FDR's court was not overtly politicized, ruling in his favor on many cases, it wasn't widely seen as partisan or that some party had at the time rigged it in its favor via lucky deaths, and his amendments to the system were haphazard. This was also an era when constitutional amendments were still passed, so valuing that workaround had more merit. I have read Wheeler's speech of opposition, and I agree with the majority of it.
As for his role in WW2 Isolationism & the America First Committee, I'm sure its no surprise to anyone that his stances were some of the most dangerously ignorant policies of the era. America ideally would have joined the Allies sooner, but I won't begrudge the people of the time their hesitancy for war. But Wheeler opposed nearly every step of US support for the Allies; he opposed Lend Lease, he opposed Destroyers-for-Bases, he opposed aid to China (iirc correctly on that one). This level of apathy to the fate of people outside the US's borders is a dark stain on the history of many in this era, and he shares it.
Borah I know less on so I won't speak much but to say as a similar isolationist he falls into the same camp - opposition to the Treaty of Versailles and the League of Nations was something that was never logical because their wasn't an alternative on offer, they weren't trying to build their own peace. In particular, his opposition to the League was entirely based on these ideas that it would create "great foreign entanglements" binding the US, but also that the League would be toothless and violators would simply walk away. So...which one is it?? It is the latter, btw, it was no risk to the US, but diplomacy forums have their place and US isolationism hamstrung that place. He strikes me as a classic "political orator" in that he was famous for his words, but privileged prose over political analysis, and often said little with an awful lot of much. But I have only been exposed to a few of them so I won't go too far on that route.

I’m Married
Willow: No matter how much we feel for one another. How much we desire to feel our touch upon each other’s skin. How we craze to embrace one another in the sinful, luscious pleasures of our bare bodies. We can never be together, my dear Sentinel…
Jaune: Why not, my Empress? What sea separates us for embracing what both our heart, and mind desire?
Willow: My husband… Cursed be his wretched existence, and blight that it has been upon my life, still lives. Though I expect in secret he has bed many of his chamber maids, I will mot fall into the depths of infidelity such as he has. No matter how much I love you, I will not sink down to his level.
Jaune: You value your family’s name, and your personal honour greatly your, Highness. However, your husband… A usurper unfitting of your name does you a great dishonour. However, if your suspicions of his infidelity are true, we can use that to your advantage, your Grace.
Willow: My advantage? How would such an act of a depraved, and deceitful man be of my benefit? The thought allow does me a great dishonour, as a woman, as a mother, much less as an Empress!
Jaune: Precisely as you say your, Grace. He does you a great dishonour, as a Mother, and an Empress. To which he must pay for.
Willow: Explain yourself.
Jaune: When you were married to the then Duke Geles, did you not make make vows before heaven, and the gods that you would l remain true, and faithful to one another?
Willow: We did, as it was our sacred duty to do so.
Jaune: And, if the Emperor is being unfaithful as you expect he may be, he would be in a direct violation of those sacred vows.
Willow: Meaning that he would no longer be considered my husband… He would no longer have the power, the authority, nor the burden of the crown. He could be… removed… How, brilliant of you my, Sentinel. Ao cunning, and wise. Haa… If only I had been born later, or if you had been born ealier…
Jaune: I would have loved you all the same, regardless of when, or how we met one another my, Lady. I swear upon my name it.
Willow: For the first time in a long time, I know I can finally trust such a vow. So, tell me my Knight, what should we do first to remove this disease upon my families throne?
Jaune: We must find undeniably evidence of your husband infidelity. Be it a witness, or one of the chamber maids themselves, we must have proof to legally remove your husband. And, if we find either of these, or dare say if one of them sires his bastard, you must use your authority as, Empress to protect them.
Willow: I most protect my husbands secret lover, even his potential bastard! Have you gone mad?!
Jaune: No, I have not your, Grace. Your husband strikes me as the type who will so anything to protect his position, even if it means silencing those who threaten that power. Only you have the power to stop him, so you must protect them. Protect them, and then use them as a means to overthrow your husband.
Willow: A pawn for me to use to my advantage… one he would not see coming until the trap had already been sprung. How soon can you look into this!
Jaune: I will look into it at once, but I cannot be too quick about it, and I must find others to hunt for me your, Grace.
Willow: If you go you will raise suspicion. The, Empress Knight searching out the, Emperors hand maidens will no doubt raise suspicion. It may even stir the vipers nest if you poke around where one does not one to be. Very well, you have your assignment, do you swear to complete the duty given out before you!
Jaune: I, Sir Jaune Arc, the Empress’s Knight, do swear upon the name of, Empress Willow Schnee, daughter of Emperor Nicolas Schnee, true heir to the White Throne, that I will carry out the duty you have given me, or my life be forfeit.
Willow: Good… Now, go my Knight, go and foe fill your Empresses commands, for I know you will without fail.
Jaune: Of course your, Grace.
Willow: And, Jaune?
Jaune: Yes, Willow?
Willow: When this is all over? And done with; come back to me, foe fill your lover’s desires, like none other before.
Jaune: It will be my extreme pleasure my, Love.
Willow: Perfect~!

The thing that I wanted to talk about in my homily tonight but didn't have time for is the difference between public/private sin and public/private repentance. There just wasn't space, and I had to talk about death first, because death is (it seems) almost omnipresent, and time is short.
What western Christians get absolutely backwards re: sin is scale. Western Christians have obsessed over individual sin and forgiven mass atrocity. There are definitely things that a person doesn't need to "perform" repentance over, but which one ought to repent of. One ought not to lie; one ought not to embezzle, or steal; one ought not treat one's neighbor as one's neighbor does not want to be treated. Societal sins, however, like mass murder, exploitation, hoarding wealth/resources and destroying the planet may not be repented of privately*.
While I was struggling with the text composing the homily, I couldn't make sense of the contradictory mandates in Isaiah and Matthew. The prophet would have us "cry out and shout", making a great fuss of performing repentance, and Jesus teaches exactly the opposite. And it took me forever to figure out how they are both right at the same time. As a people who believe in the violated dignity of the other in our name, we ought to cry out. And what we need to correct within ourselves, we should do summarily and avoid blowing trumpets to announce the occasion. If someone claps, congrats. That's all you're gonna get out of it anyway.
________
*However, it must be admitted that, for example, were Taylor Swift to repent of her overindulgence in fossil fuels, significant gain could be measured; likewise anyone who owns a yacht or private plane, etc, etc, = billionaires, all of which ought to repent both privately and beg forgiveness publicly.

"The one great sin you have committed in your life, and for which you have been paying a high price by carrying its burden, and letting it grow over time, is to accept undeserved guilt just as they wanted and expected you to do. You have abided by their moral code. All your life you have been denounced, not for your faults, but for your virtues. You have been hated, not for your mistakes, but for your achievements. You have been despised for your character and your integrity. Have you ever stopped to ask them, by what right, by what standard?
“No, you have endured it all and remained silent. An even viler evil than murdering a man is to sell him suicide as an act of virtue. A viler evil than throwing a man on a bonfire is to demand that he throw himself on it, of his own free will, and that he also build the bonfire. In the democracy of ancient Athens, the symbol of this is the fate of Socrates, who was legally condemned to death because the majority did not like what he said, although he had not initiated any force or violated anyone's rights.
“A democracy, if one gives meaning to the terms, is a system of unlimited majoritarian rule. In short, it’s a form of collectivism that denies individual rights: the majority can do whatever it wants without restraint. In principle, democratic government is all-powerful. The law by which they were judging him was based on the common good and held that there are no principles, that he had no rights and that they could sacrifice him any way they wanted for the sake of what they believed was their own good. But that is what any thief does. The only difference is that the thief doesn’t ask you to approve his action, he doesn’t expect any voluntary action or consent from his victims. He knows he is a criminal and that his procedure is illegal. He doesn’t ask for help to disguise the nature of his actions.
“Socrates chose to die when he could evade justice. In the history of mankind, it has been men of mind who have permitted injustice. And it’s they who must discover that it’s their own will, which no one can force, that makes might possible. From mockery to firing squads... all of it has been imposed on those who took it upon themselves to look at the world through their own eyes. And it was those men who forged the weapons and built the prisons into which they were thrown. That was their glory and their guilt, to allow the rest to make them feel guilty for the glory of themselves, and to allow themselves to be punished on the altars of the brutes.
“Do you realize that the error, in essence, is the same? Denying reality has consequences. And the only despicable thought is refusing to think. Don't ignore your own desires. Don't sacrifice them. You abided by their code and while you always lived by your own, you never stated, acknowledged or defended it. You let them call you immoral and denigrate you as a human being over the years. Ask yourself why men cannot exist without a code of moral values, and what happens if they accept the wrong standard.”

My great grandparents were married young in Boston, my great grandfather being an immigrant front Zvhill (boarded ship 1909) a d my great grandmother was Litvish and that is all I know about her. They lived in Brookline, had 4 kids, and allegedly got kicked out of shul for being unable to pay dues. Because of this, I am the last practicing jew in my family! Zvhil is also known as Novogorod-Volnsk and is home to a decent hasidic dynasty. My great grandfather was involved w the jewish workers circle though, unsure how that lined up.
Thank you! Zhvil or Novogtad Volynsky was actually a very important Hasidic center, giving birth to a dynasty that transverses generations and geography. Mosheh, one of several sons of Yehi'el Mikhl of Zlotshev (a disciple of the Besht and the Magid), established himself in Zhvil and became a Tsadik (a title indicating a righteous person who never sins in thought, speech, or action). Moshe's dynasty is the only one, among those of his brothers, that has survived and it now exists in Jerusalem.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first Jews of Zhvil are mentioned in the document from 1488, when the town was under the rule of Casimir Jagiellon, the Grand Duke of Lithuania. Most Jews were engaged in innkeeping, crafts and the trades, the leather trade preeminent among them (the skill of working with leather migrated to the mill towns of Massachusetts, along with the migrating Jews who left Zhvil). On the northern outskirts of the city (near the brewery) there was a special district of Jewish tanners, who even had their own synagogue. In 1816 Jews occupied the posts of one of the two mayors and two of the five council members of the town magistrate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The community suffered greatly during the Russian civil war, with thousands murdered by depraved mobs unhinged by the chaos, deprivation, and anarchy of war. They set fire to houses, plundered them, killed men, violated women. Many other Jews were dispersed, and Zhvil was completely burned to the ground.
In 1919, a great number of Jews were dragged to the bank of the river Slutsc, where they were told to dig. Then the murderers undressed them naked, chopped off their arms and threw them alive into the grave. In one instance a father was compelled to chop off the arms of his son; in another, a son was made to do the same thing to his father. About 500 Jews perished in this way. In Juli, Pogorelov, the initiator of the atrocities, stopped the pogrom, but demanded of the Jews 50 horses and a great quantity of salt and sugar. The Jews delivered to him whatever they succeeded in collecting.
Tumblr media
By 1929 a massive attack on the religious community by the Commmunist authorities began and ended in the mid-30s with closing of all synagogues and prayer houses. The last Rabbi of Zhvil, Gedale-Moyshe Goldman, was sentenced to 7 years in Siberian labor camps.
Novograd Volynsky was occupied by German troops on July 8, 1941. The murder of the town's Jews started in late July 1941 and lasted until September of the same year. The Jews who survived these murder operations (most of them skilled workers in occupations needed by the Germans) as well as Jews from surrounding villages were rounded up and interned in a ghetto, where terrible living conditions, starvation, and exhaustion took their toll. In the winter of 1943, a number of ghetto inmates fled to the forests north of Zhitomir, where theu joined partisans units. The remaining ghetto population, as well as some captured Jews, were shot.
Tumblr media
After 1945, there was a small religious Jewish community in the town. It owned house 24 on Troitskaya Street. On July 30, 1960, the town authorities decided to give this building to the local department of education. The local press started a powerful propaganda campaign against Judaism and heads of the community. After that, the Jewish community existed illegal. In December 2001, only 188 Jews were registered in the city.

ISLAM 101: Spirituality in Islam: Part 154
Raja (Hope or Expectation)
For a Sufi, hope means waiting for that which he or she wholeheartedly desires to come into existence, acceptance of good deeds, and forgiveness of sins. Hope or expectation, both based on the fact that the individual is solely responsible for his or her errors and sins and that all good is and originates from God’s Mercy, is seen in this way: To avoid being caught in vices and faults and ruined by self-conceit over good deeds and virtues, an initiate must advance toward God through the constant seeking of forgiveness, prayer, avoidance of evil, and pious acts.
One’s life must be lived in constant awareness of God’s supervision, and one must knock tirelessly on His door with supplication and contrition. If an initiate successfully establishes such a balance between fear and hope, he or she will neither despair (of being a perfect, beloved servant of God) nor become proud of any personal virtues and thereby neglect his or her responsibilities.
True expectation, possessed by those who are sincerely loyal to the Almighty, means seeking God’s favor by avoiding sins. Such people undertake as many good deeds as possible, and then turn to God in expectation of His mercy. Others, however, have a false expectation. They spend their lives in sin, all the while expecting God’s favor and reward, even though they perform none of the obligatory duties. They seem to believe that God is obligated to admit everyone to Paradise. Not only is this a false expectation, it is a mark of disrespect for the All-Merciful, the All-Compassionate, for such an expectation reflects their (misplaced) hope that God would violate His very nature to protect them from the consequences of their sins.
For Sufis, hope or expectation are not the same as a wish. A wish is a desire that may or may not be fulfilled, whereas hope or expectation is an initiate’s active quest, through all lawful means, for the desired destination. So that God, in His Mercy, will help him or her, the initiate does everything possible, with an almost Prophetic insight and consciousness, to cause all the doors of Divine shelter to swing open. In other words, hope is the belief that like His Attributes of Knowledge, Will, and Power, God’s Mercy also encompasses all creation, and the expectation that he or she may be included in His special mercy: My Mercy embraces all things (7:156); and in a hadith qudsi, a Prophetic saying whose meaning was directly revealed by God, which reads: God’s Mercy exceeds His Wrath. Indifference to such Mercy, from which even devils hope to benefit in the Hereafter, and despairing of being enveloped by it, which amounts to denying it, is an unforgivable sin.
Hope means that an initiate seeks the ways to reach the Almighty in utmost reliance on His being the All-Munificent and the All-Loving. M. Lutfi Effendi expresses his hope as follows:
Be kind to me, O my Sovereign, do not abandon favoring the needy and destitute! Does it befit the All-Kind and Munificent to stop favoring His slaves?
Those who are honored by such Divine kindness can be considered as having found a limitless treasure especially at a time when a person has lost whatever he or she has, is exposed to misfortune, or feels in his or her conscience the pain of being unable to do anything good or to be saved from evil. In short, when there are no means left that can be resorted to, and all of the ways out end in the Producer of all causes and means, hope illumines the way, like a heavenly mount that carries one to peaks that normally are impossible to reach.
Here I cannot help but recall the hope expressed in the last words of Imam Shafi’i in Gaza:
When my heart was hardened and my ways were blocked, I made my hope a ladder to Your forgiveness; My sins are too great in my sight, but When I weigh them against Your forgiveness, Your forgiveness is much greater than them. [1]
It is advisable for one to feel fear in order to abandon sin and turn to God. One should cherish hope when falling into the pit of despair and the signs of death appear. Fear removes any feeling of security against God’s punishment, and hope saves the believer from being overwhelmed by despair. For this reason, one may be fearful even when all obligatory duties have been performed perfectly; one may be hopeful although he or she has been less than successful in doing good deeds. This is what is stated in the following supplication of Yahya ibn Mu’adh:
O God! The hope I feel in my heart when I indulge in sin is usually greater than the hope I feel after performing the most perfect deeds. This is because I am “impaired” with flaws and imperfections, and never sinless and infallible. When I am stained with sin, I rely on no deeds or actions but Your forgiveness. How should I not rely on Your forgiveness, seeing that You are the Generous One? [2]
According to many, hope is synonymous with cherishing a good opinion of the Divine Being. This is related in the following hadith qudsi: I treat My servant in the way he thinks of Me treating him. [3] A man once dreamed that Abu Sahl was enjoying indescribable bounties and blessings, and asked him how he had attained such degree of reward. Abu Sahl answered: By means of my good opinion of my Lord. [4] That is why we can say that if hope is a means for God’s manifestation of His infinitely profound Mercy, a believer should never relinquish it. Even if one always performs good deeds and preserves his or her sincerity and altruism, since these are the accomplishments of a finite being with limited capacities, they have little importance when compared with God’s forgiveness.
Fear and hope are two of the greatest gifts of God that He may implant in a believer’s heart. If there is a gift greater than these, it is that one should preserve the balance between fear and hope and then use them as two wings of light to reach God.

Someone told him he would love a human
Ft. Gn!MC, Simeon, Author, Solomon, Michael, Ralphael, Metatron.
Warning: angst, nightmare, violent actions towards reader
Summary: Author was Simeon’s colleague, both are writers. One day, the former informed the angel that he would love a human. This is in the same series with the head-canon featuring the Brothers.
Rome, Papal State, 13th century
The archangel was sent by Archangel Michael on a mission to protect the Roman Pontiff and the Catholic Church from the assails of her [the Church’s] enemies.
“Simeon.”
Simeon turned around to see a human in weird attire, but he knew this human.
“Author, my colleague, how may I help?”
“Nothing. I just came to tell you something.”
“What is it?”
“Simeon…you will fall in love with a human. You will love them above everything and everyone, including yourself. However, this human will be the cause of your misfortune.”
Simeon was speechless, he was completely shocked. First, he knew his colleague to be a normal human…well, a weird human who had been around for…he already forgot how long, who spent all his time daydreaming and writing stories, rarely showing his care for worldly affairs. Second, if it were a prophecy, Simeon expected to received it from Michael or an angel who could see into the future. Third, the prophecy said he would fall in love for a human.
“May I inquire from where or from whom you heard that prophecy?”
“What if I tell you it was Father?” I stroked the Crucifix hanging around my neck.
The next time Simeon’s sense returned to his body, he already returned to his mansion in Celestial Realm. It turned out that Raphael came to check on him and found him not replying or answering anything, so Ralph just carried him back.
“A human…I will fall in love with a human…just like Lilith…will I become like her?”
Simeon looked at his single pair of wings. Formerly, he was a Seraphim. Because of his unwillingness to fight against the Brothers in the Great Celestial War, he had been demoted to Archangel. Facing Father’s wrath was most frightening experience since he was created. It was Simeon’s first great misfortune in his whole long life. Still now, after thousands of years, he considered it to be the only thing he feared.
“Author also mentioned that they would be the cause of my misfortune…” Simeon pondered. “Will I fall…and become a demon?”
=======
“Simeon, do you acknowledge you sin now?”
“I don’t think I did something wrong.” Simeon answered Metatron’s question with a gentle voice. However, it was mixed with anger but it was subtle that only someone observant could detect.
“Impenitent!” Metatron roared.
Two angels entered with a human in chains. Even though Simeon couldn’t see the human’s face, he knew right away it was you, his beloved.
Metatron came down from his high seat and walked towards you.
“MC, right?”
You didn’t reply, only nodded.
“Tell me, did Simeon give you a Celestial fruit so that you can prolong your life?”
“…”
“Are you dumb or what? Answer me!”
You refused to open your mouth. You knew that no one could lie before the Council. Once you opened your mouth, you had to tell the truth, and the truth only. And it would jeopardize Simeon. So the best option was to keep silence.
*SLAP*
*KICK*
The whole room was shocked by Metatron’s actions of slapping your face and kicking your stomach. Celestial laws dictated that criminals and sinners must not be treated with violence or torture.
“Stop, Metatron! You know that you’re not allowed to do that.” Michael had to step in to stop Metatron.
“F*ck you, Metatron!” Simeone broke his chains completely and dashed towards Metatron.
“I didn’t expect you would use such violence.” Simeon punched Metatron in the face. “You are a enforcer of Celestial law. And yet you violate it on daily basis.” Simeon successfully landed a kick on Metatron’s stomach even though Raphael was holding him back. “I didn’t say anything because I didn’t think it was worth the risk. I didn’t say anything when you tortured Lilith despite my brotherly love for Lucifer. Yet, today you touched my beloved.” Simeon’s sclera turned red from all the emotion “For this, I can’t forgive you.”
“Simeon, for the love of God-.”
“You know what, screw Him. I don’t care.”
BANG ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Lightning struck Simeon and opened a crack on the floor, and Simeon fell through that crack out of Heaven. Horns started to protrude from his head, and his wings turned black.
“Y͓͔̝̜̪͇̤ͬ̀͂̓͜o̘̼͖͒ͯ́u̻̻͑̓̔̌̕ ͈̞͇͔̝̣͎͙ͣ̄̀â̬̝̣͍̝̱͌͛͡ͅr͚̩̬̠ͫ͘ĕ̢͖͔̱̻̹͔̐ ͚̹̹̤͕̑ͪ͋̏͝c̨̺͓͇̳͕̟͍̓ỏ͙̬̮͔͉̈̿̋͝ͅm̞͉̼̰̾͒̈́͟i̩͙̟̣̻̦̺ͣ͘ͅn̷͓̲̩̺̤͔͛ͦ̄͐ġ̶̠̭͈̥͎̺̭̾ ̶̪̣̣̺̈́ẃ͇̮͓ͥͤ̚͢i̮̖̝̰̳͕̮̗̓ͦͨ͠t̪̫̍͐̚̚̕hͫ҉̰͚̳̞̱̺̟ ̝̬̜͇̔ͣ̎́͞m̟̗͙̜̣͚̩̍ͥ̋̕e̵̞̪͇̞̖͆.̡̯̬̃̒.”
Simeon’s arm turned into a long serpent. The serpent bit Metatron and grabbed him down with the former angel.
“Nooooo, let me go, you beast.” Metatron tried to escape using his angel’s power, but to no avail.
“Simeooooooonnnnnnnnnn-.” You tried to jump down from Heaven after him, but the Archangels held you back.
“No, MC, it’s dangerous.”
“Simeooooooooonnnnnnnn-.” You cried.
=======
Simeon opened his eyes and immediately sat up from the bed. His body was full of sweats.
“What happened? Did I fall asleep?” Simeon couldn’t help but shivering. The dream felt so…real.
The next day, Simeon came back to Rome in the Human Realm to find me.
“Author, are you there?” Simeon knocked on the door.
“Are you trying to find Author, Mister?”
“Yes, did he go out?”
“No. Author already vacated his apartment. He told me he was going to move back to his hometown.”
“Did he tell you where he went?”
“Sorry, he didn’t say anything or leave any message.”
=======
Purgatory Hall, Devildom, 21st century
“Simeon, this is MC, the other exchange student from Human Realm.” Solomon gave him the files he got from Lucifer.
“Ah, let’s see-.” Simeon froze when he saw your profile pic.
The same eyes, the same hair, the same face, all familiar features from the dream of many many years ago.

Tiny Beautiful Things Chapter 29
AO3
“Frank!” She says. Her new husband hears her. His eyes narrow. Jenny’s moans grow louder and someone says, ‘ Ring 811.’ All this is secondary to Jamie. A part of his mind catalogues that Jenny is in labor. The biggest  part though is focused on the unwelcome guest.

“HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE!” He thunders, stepping forward. Lamb is doing the same.

“I came to wish the bride good fortune and to give her a kiss.”  He flatly states. It is a mistake.

They are both on him, fists out. It is a life saving thing that Jamie forgets he is armed with a sword.

They work him outside, working him over, with him, only occasionally making contact with one of them.

“Hold up Claire!” Geillis runs after her. “Let them handle it.”

She is in to blind a rage to listen. How bloody dare he show up like this! Intruding on her wedding! She will show him.

The melee enters the area where the reception is set up. She comes up to them just as a fleeing Frank knocks into the cake. It partially topples, landing on him. The next thing to land on him is Claire’s bouquet.

She is landing curses with every swing, the broken flowers landing on the broken cake on the broken man.  Her husband’s arms come around her.

“Shh, my darling, be still now. I’ve you. It is alright.” She turns, fallen in his arms.

“He ruined everything!” she is sobbing. Behind them, the police, called out when the medics were, are assisting Lamb with lifting up Frank. They will secure him until the Fraser’s decide whether to press trespassing charges.

“Nothing is ruined. We are married. That is all that matters. That and that our nephew is on the way.”

Her sobs cease and she lifts her head. “Jenny! Oh, we need to check on her.”

“Take him away. My wife,” how proudly he says it, “has a no contact order against him. Press whatever charges are necessary.” He leads her away.

They are just in time to witness the birth of James Ian Brian Murray. The lad is born in the Great Room/ wedding chapel.

“In a hurry, he was.” Jenny holds her son, smiling down on him.  They have rescheduled the reception, with all that happened. Now the family gets to know Wee Jamie in peace.

“Aye, his birthday will help me to recall my anniversary.” His uncle says. His new wife laughs.

“You better never forget it.”

“Aye, you best not,” the new father adds, “it is an almost unforgivable sin.”

“What happened to fracking Frank?” Geillis self censors in the presence of the baby.

“He is being charged with trespassing and violation of a protection order. He should go away for awhile.” Claire answers. She can’t take her eyes off her little nephew. He is the sweetest thing.

“Good! The nerve of…” She stops, “No negative talk. This is a happy and blessed time.”

Later, as the new family rests, Claire cuddles against her husband. “I want one.”  She tells him.

“I think I can manage that.” He leads her to bed.

3 Mandos And A Baby AU: They’re In Love Your Honor
I've been neglecting Ursa and Alrich in this AU, and that's a goddamn crime. They're too adorable together. Clearly, I have sinned.
So, Ursa and Alrich actually do a great job of keeping their relationship from leaking outside of the halls of the Academy. Even within the Academy there are only three people who know for sure that they're dating. We don’t count the Cadet Squad as people by the way, they’re more…sentient headaches.
If you ask the Professors? They're friends. Study-buddies. Alrich is Ursa's pet scholarship student. The heir to Clan Wren certainly isn't dating a boy who's only able to attend the prestigious institution through a scholarship.
Their fellow students only respond with a pointed "this line of questioning treads dangerously close to violating the Honor Code". Translation: "The last time someone tried to gossip about the two of them their speeder blew up and their crush was sent a really embarrassing drawing". The speeder thing was actually totally unrelated, but eh. Ursa's not gonna turn down free fear.
So, news of their relationship finally breaks...I wanna say when they're nineteen? Some big festival, fireworks, picture perfect romantic moment, and both of them have adult minds but their bodies are full of teenage hormones. They kiss. Publicly. Right as a journalist who'd been assigned the second most boring beat in Sundari passes by.
No one expected the front page of Mandalore's biggest gossip rag to be a very dramatic shot of the kiss (Alrich, once he gets over the shock, frames it. It's actually a really nice picture).
Ursa's father? Furious. His heir – his strong, proud, traditionalist heir – dating a New Mando boy? And also, to a lesser extent: his little girl, dating?
Alrich's folks aren't pleased either. Such a close tie to a family that openly borders on indecency with their traditionalist politics? It could actually cost them in the circles of New Mandalorian society that they're trying to ascend.
Bo-Katan's trying to stop Pre from exploding. He's very unhappy that the heir to one of his vassal clans would do this. He had plans for her, cousins and other vassals he was going to introduce her to. Strengthening ties between vassals and interconnecting the members of Death Watch even more is necessary. The more people he can pressure with a single point the better.
When she hears this Bo, once again, questions all her life decisions, and promptly shoves those realizations in the same box as Korkie's parentage.
She manages to calm Pre down and convince him it's all part of a strategy on Ursa's part. If she can get to Alrich she'll have better access to his underclassman mentees, one of which is the dear Duchess's beloved nephew. Access to Korkie means access to the palace, and Ursa's always been very good with explosives.
Pre promptly decides that yes, this is a brilliant plan, and also that he'd come up with it. Bo's so glad for helmets cause if Pre saw how hard she rolled her eyes Bo would be deader than that kid from Clan Priest who got caught chatting up one of the other verde, instead of guarding the cells. (There was no need for anyone to even guard the cells, they were empty, but Pre just likes shooting his finite supply of loyal warriors)
Anyway, back in Sundari things are not looking good for our favorite couple. Some professors have gotten it into their heads that Alrich isn't good enough for Ursa. He's suddenly getting worse marks, his submissions of certain assignments are "disappearing", and the other students are definitely picking up on it. He gets tripped in the halls more often now, and has had his art supplies sabotaged more than once.
No one's done anything to Ursa, they still think she blew up a guy's speeder after all, but an attack on Alrich might as well be an attack on her.
No, Ursa's biggest issue comes in the form of her family. Her father is not happy and keeps trying to arrange matches to traditionalist/Death Watch aligned clans. Ursa tends to shut these matches down by spending the entirety of the arranged date talking about how perfect Alrich is. It's an effective strategy and Ursa takes delight in making things as awkward as possible.
Alrich at one point is visiting his parents, and they're giving him a "what will society think?!" talk. His father's up for a promotion soon, that bump in salary could secure them a place in the upper-mid levels, why doesn't he think of his little siblings? What will the Duchess think of the boy who's mentoring her nephew? He better believe his palace invites are gonna dry up real quick!
As they're ranting Alrich gets a notification on his datapad telling him his next visit to the palace, to discuss Korkie's schooling, has had a minor change. He's now allowed a plus one. (Satine saw the news, sipped her tea, and decided that anyone who doesn't suggest Korkie's insane deserves nice things.)

Israel Defeated at Ai
1 But the Israelites were unfaithful in regard to the devoted things; Achan son of Karmi, the son of Zimri, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of them. So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel.
2 Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is near Beth Aven to the east of Bethel, and told them, “Go up and spy out the region.” So the men went up and spied out Ai.
3 When they returned to Joshua, they said, “Not all the army will have to go up against Ai. Send two or three thousand men to take it and do not weary the whole army, for only a few people live there.” 4 So about three thousand went up; but they were routed by the men of Ai, 5 who killed about thirty-six of them. They chased the Israelites from the city gate as far as the stone quarries and struck them down on the slopes. At this the hearts of the people melted in fear and became like water.
6 Then Joshua tore his clothes and fell facedown to the ground before the ark of the Lord, remaining there till evening. The elders of Israel did the same, and sprinkled dust on their heads. 7 And Joshua said, “Alas, Sovereign Lord, why did you ever bring this people across the Jordan to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us? If only we had been content to stay on the other side of the Jordan! 8 Pardon your servant, Lord. What can I say, now that Israel has been routed by its enemies? 9 The Canaanites and the other people of the country will hear about this and they will surround us and wipe out our name from the earth. What then will you do for your own great name?”
10 The Lord said to Joshua, “Stand up! What are you doing down on your face? 11 Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions. 12 That is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies; they turn their backs and run because they have been made liable to destruction. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction.
13 “Go, consecrate the people. Tell them, ‘Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among you, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them.
14 “‘In the morning, present yourselves tribe by tribe. The tribe the Lord chooses shall come forward clan by clan; the clan the Lord chooses shall come forward family by family; and the family the Lord chooses shall come forward man by man. 15 Whoever is caught with the devoted things shall be destroyed by fire, along with all that belongs to him. He has violated the covenant of the Lord and has done an outrageous thing in Israel!’”
16 Early the next morning Joshua had Israel come forward by tribes, and Judah was chosen. 17 The clans of Judah came forward, and the Zerahites were chosen. He had the clan of the Zerahites come forward by families, and Zimri was chosen. 18 Joshua had his family come forward man by man, and Achan son of Karmi, the son of Zimri, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was chosen.
19 Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and honor him. Tell me what you have done; do not hide it from me.”
20 Achan replied, “It is true! I have sinned against the Lord, the God of Israel. This is what I have done: 21 When I saw in the plunder a beautiful robe from Babylonia, two hundred shekels of silver and a bar of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. They are hidden in the ground inside my tent, with the silver underneath.”
22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent, and there it was, hidden in his tent, with the silver underneath. 23 They took the things from the tent, brought them to Joshua and all the Israelites and spread them out before the Lord.
24 Then Joshua, together with all Israel, took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the gold bar, his sons and daughters, his cattle, donkeys and sheep, his tent and all that he had, to the Valley of Achor. 25 Joshua said, “Why have you brought this trouble on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today.”
Then all Israel stoned him, and after they had stoned the rest, they burned them. 26 Over Achan they heaped up a large pile of rocks, which remains to this day. Then the Lord turned from his fierce anger. Therefore, that place has been called the Valley of Achor ever since. — Joshua 7 | New International Version (NIV) Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright ©1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® All rights reserved worldwide. Church of Kira Our Savior Religious Scripture #2 Draft 1
tagging bestay: @mapsareforbraindeads
There is a sacred being, a being most widely known through the name “Kira”. Kira, the most holy and righteous being of all. He judges all; He knows of all wrongdoings and He sees all the righteous deeds ever performed. Kira is here to redeem the worthy, punish the wrongful, and reward the righteous. Kira possesses a power like no other.
In The Beginning, humans were of dust. And then they were of the most minuscule creates, and then they were of creatures of the sea, and then they were of bipedal animals. Humans, over millions and billions of years, went from little things to sentient beings. Sentience, as Kira has taught us, may prove to be a horrible thing to give to a creature if they use it wrongly. Humans are completely in control of their actions, but they must also face the consequences of their doings.
Intelligence and self-awareness are a curse, though, if used improperly. This is the main reason, of the many, why we must be saved by Him in order to live our best lives. One must always follow the Rites of the Followers of Him to be let into God Kira’s New World at the end of their lifetime. The followers of Kira must trust Him and His mission, and they must follow His commands diligently.
The purpose of Kira’s presence is to absolve the deserving, penalize the unjust, and commend the virtuous. This means that the sinful will be punished. Kira’s power is a power like no other. It belongs to Him and Him only. One should always understand the Kira is the most just being to grace our plane. Kira sees all wrongdoings, and he will punish them. Kira will never falsely punish an innocent.
Kira has been watching us, always, since long ago. His rein will continue always, no matter the consequence. In darkness and Light, and in famine and prosperity, He will remain. Even if all but Him shatters, He will remain. Kira watches over us, and he knows his followers well. Kira admires the beauties of humanity, but He despises its faults. Kira is present to lead humanity onto a better path, and He is present to eradicate all sinful acts.
Unlike the followers of other movements, the followers of Kira must, and will, closely, diligently, and continually adhere to the Rites and Commands of Him. Obviously, there will be many who will attempt to replicate Kira’s power. These impersonations are most unrighteous, and the ones who perpetrate them will be hastily punished. It is strictly against the Rites to attempt to impersonate, mimic, or wrongfully utilize Kira our Savior, or His high power. The Rites and Commands are not such unreasonable requests if one has the right mindset. They must he willing to submit to Him, and sacrifice many of their Earthly pleasures, to truly be able to be called a “follower of Him”.
One must make no gods before Him. Kira is sufficient for all. One must never create idols or worship anything other than Him. Kira is the most sacred being there is. Those who preach the word of Kira are appreciated by Him, but they must remember— they are not preaching for fame, they are preaching so others may come to know Him.
This is one of the most important values of the Church of Kira Our Savior. Remember, the values of the Church of Kira may not ever be violated, or anyone who does so will face grave punishment if deemed deserving of said punishment.
It is said by some that all monotheistic movements or religions are the same, but the Church of Kira Our Savior is very different from the rest. The beliefs of the Church of Kira state that Kira is good, Kira is great, and that Kira will spare us if we live a lifestyle He deems worthy.
It is to be repeated again and again that, any good and true follower of the Church of Kira Our Savior will be quick to denounce a sinful, unjust lifestyle. This includes committing acts against others or ourselves or committing acts against Him. In order, the offenses that are considered the most serious would be: offenses against Him, offenses against your neighbor, and offenses against yourself, whether it be emotionally or towards your Vessel.
Note that in the Church of Kira, a human’s body is considered to be holy— a gift we have received because of millions and millions of years of evolution, natural selection, population thinning, and change. The Vessel of any creature is to be treated with utmost respect. Followers of the Church of Kira believe only someone who follows the Rites and Practices of The Followers of Him, otherwise known as ‘The Rites’, may be allowed to go on by Kira. They may not violate the Rites, or they may be punished accordingly. In addition, any person deemed to ‘not value their life or Vessel enough’ by Kira will be punished accordingly. One’s Vessel is a gift, and all followers of Him should acknowledge it.
As previously said, Kira is the most holy being out there, and he should not be disrespected. When praying, a follower of Him should never explicitly address him by name. Instead, terms such as ‘dear Lord’ or ‘dear holy one’ when opening a prayer may suffice. When closing a prayer, they may use ‘and now it is complete. It has been said and it will be done.’ or any such variation. The practice of praying to Him is more elaborated on in the Rites.
