this is controversial and i’m saying this literally as a taylor swift fan but people act like she’s a much better songwriter than she actually is like i listen to other artists who are good songwriters and i’m just like, i’m so sorry but she does not even compare in terms of lyricism, she can absolutely write a bop like i’ll give her that, they’re approachable and fun and like there’s nothing wrong with that but let’s not act like she’s a master poet
