ayyy there was something tricky about Ochette's final boss, and it was that the final boss has a ton of health and an attack that reduces one party member to 1 hp (which the boss uses to power up and will use multiple times throughout the battle), so having healers is very helpful, bc despite Ochette being lv. 70 I was not able to "deal massive amounts of damage to get through the fight in like, 4-5 turns" my way through her final boss, although I had significantly less trouble this time than I did on my first playthrough when this was the first final boss I took on.
Anywho, thoughts on Temenos and Ochette's final chapters below...
I can add "timeline for when the Kal got wiped out" to the list of things that I just legit forgot from my first playthrough, like I simply did not remember seeing "Thirty years earlier...." at the start of Temenos's Ch4, which is such a weird timeframe (are you telling me Reiza was 7? and she has major guilt from a genocide she participated in when she was SEVEN??), but at least the "Temenos might have been a survivor of the Kal" theory makes so much more sense to me, bc I just thought we got a vague "decades ago" timeframe, not an actual set of years, bc in my head I was like "Well, Reiza's 37, so if this happened decades ago maybe it was two decades and she was 17 bc that would make sense for all the guilt she's carrying" no, no we actually got a timeline and she was apparently a whole whopping seven years old. Anyhow I'm gonna have to unshelve the Kal Temenos theory in my head and turn it over a bit more.
That all said the writing for Temenos's final chapter is...fine. So it's really not that his storyline bugs me so much as his Stormhail chapter specifically bugs the hell out of me (and also I don't like the "genocide survivor joins those who killed her people to seek revenge on them...somehow" as a plot point, like don't get me wrong I love the concept of Kaldena and think she should be in the story, but not as the main antagonist, but that's an entirely different rant).
I still wish we got some sort of timeline for when D'arqest came and turned whichever group of people living on Toto'haha into the beastlings. Like this guy apparently did something on every major landmass, and we don't know when or in which order. (whose name I hate typing by the way, why did the localization team decide to have it spelled like that?)
Also for as...clumsy as the whole "D'arqest turned people into beastlings by taking the evil from their hearts to call up the Shadow, so they can't be corrupted by the Shadow or at least are very resistant to it" is a worldbuilding point (believe me, I understand why this is criticized by fans), I don't think it's as simple as I've seen some analyses write it off as? Like, the Nameless Village is very much Right There, and there is very much something...deeply weird and concerning going on with the "heirs" in the village. Like, I dunno, I wish there was more about exactly what is going on with the "heir" situation in the Nameless Village, bc like what does it mean that the heir is a "vessel"? why does the heir, if they survive, end up with scars across their backs? who do people living there act as guides to outsiders even though those outsiders might end up summoning the Shadow (like what Kaldena was trying to do)? Ochette, Juvah, any of the members of Beasting Village, and also any of the members of Cohazeh's village never bring up the beastlings in the Nameless Village, and even Temenos doesn't have much to say about anything in the Nameless Village itself since he's so laser-focused on Kaldena. I just...have a lot of questions about the Nameless Village.
Ochette's final chapter still gets me like, that is one hell of a tragic battle, and even though I knew what was going to happen I still teared up a bit. (story-wise, not combat-wise, the battle itself was fine mechanically, but the story bits afterwards just get me).
From the perspective of trying to figure out how Vide's influence works and stuff though, it is interesting that one of Ochette's potential companions is able to be influence and corrupted by the Shadow (since we see the purple-y shadow stuff around the companion not chosen back when Ochette was 10, well before Petrichor and Harvey turned the creature into the Darkling), since mostly we only see Vide's influence in humans and monsters.
Juvah also calls Toto'haha's flame the "First Flame" which is a really interesting bit of lore, since we have the Kal who worship the "Azure Flame" and the Order of the Sacred Flame who worship the "Sacred Flame". Can't remember where it was in who's story, but I remember it being said that after their battle with Vide the gods were said to fall into a slumber (potentially literally becoming the various Flames), so it's interesting that we have a religion that seems to have been carried over from Orsterra, a new religion formed by the Kal people, and indications that the ancient beastlings or warden beasts also had some sort of understanding of their island's flame that is separate from the Order's interpretation of the Sacred Flame. I'll have to keep an eye out during Hikari and Agnea's crossed paths Ch2 to see if anything interesting is said in the cave of that region's flame.
ALSO THOUGH because the Scarlet Moon only happens every 400 years, this might actually help me if I ever sit down and sort through the in-game lore to set up a potential timeline bc like, the Scarlet Moon is basically an astrological occurrence (lunar eclipse? that makes it possible for Vide's power to seep through from "another world"); the fact that Toto'haha is a weak point that connects to Vide's "world" isn't really that surprising when we consider that the island is located sorta halfway between where Vide is fought in the endgame, and the isle containing the Gate of Finis. We also know the legendary creatures prevented the calamity of the last Scarlet Moon before dispersing over the world, and Tera shows up in the Kal's mural.
So it's possible the Scarlet Moon occurred, the legendary creatures dispersed, D'arqest began his conquest of the world fighting against Kal and Tera, fighting against the first leader of Ku and possibly the Lumine clan on the western continent, fighting...someone on the eastern continent (the kingdom of Fjall? someone else?) and causing the Pit to open up in the wall, and attempted to summon Vide or obtain Vide's power on Toto'haha, resulting in the beastlings (he might have done this before fighting Kal, since D'arqest had the power of the Shadow when he fought Kal, and actually might have been at Toto'haha first? maybe Kal and Kal's people managed to kill D'arqest and that's why he's buried in Gravell so close to where the Kal people lived). We know he also had to obtain Vide's power or blood somehow to make Claude into a vessel for Vide, so Toto'haha might play into that as well (maybe the beastlings found a way to seal the power of the Shadow that seeps through the Rifted Rock, and that has something to do with the "heir" tradition that I have so many questions about).
I'm pretty sure D'arqest had to happen after the first Scarlet Moon though, just bc of Tera being in the Kal mural, which would place D'arqest's activities sometime in the last 399 years before the game, which wouldn't be that far stretched (Lyblac was only active for like, less than 200 years in Orsterra which is hardly any time). It also makes me wonder if the gods' original battle with Vide didn't occur 400 years before D'arqest, since Vide has to be sealed in another world in order to try breaking through when the planetary alignment is just right during the Scarlet Moon, and a lunar eclipse would have been the height of Vide's potential power (the night side of the planet is in shadow and the moon is in the shadow of the planet, unable to reflect as much light) which might explain how 7 of the 8 gods ended up dead or as close to dead as a god can get. It would then place the timeframe for Vide getting sealed at roughly 800 years before the events of the game's story, which follows the 8 theme pretty nicely.
Which is all wild speculation on my part, but I can't see D'arqest being active more than 400 years before the story events. Also the legendary creatures disperse from Toto'haha, whose flame is protected by the warden beasts and the beastlings (who are, if not immune to the Shadow, at least very resistant to it and therefore ideal protectors), and one creature ends up in the area of each of the other three flames, as if they're protecting those flames as well--and there seems to be a group of people who come to worship/protect each of the three flames as well: the Order of the Sacred Flame, the Kal, and the Lumine clan (potentially, since the current Alpates says she has to "return to her people" and then she's found dead in Conning Creek, which is very near Hinoeuma's flame; one of Ori's journals mentions that Alpates and Rita both come from the Lumine clan, and it's possible Kura was related to that bloodline as well). This might explain why Arcanette has Petrichor hunt the three legendary beasts, to weaken the defenses around each flame? (it would make sense for Crackridge at least, since Tera seems to be connected to the Kal people, and Arcanette could have had Petrichor try to kill Tera before ordering the slaughter of the Kal people, since Tera would have been unable to defend them).
Anyhow this is all just unorganized rambling now, and I may be going absolutely nowhere with all this, but I wanted to get my thoughts written down bc I dunno if we'll ever get an official timeline to clear up at least a few things about Solistia's history.

Silly Little Theory About Heartslabyul (Contains Mild Spoilers!)
Hello again :3
So I had this thought the other day after writing my theory about Cater (which you can read here if you're interested) about who the Heartslabyul characters are based on.
So all of the Heartslabyul kids (with the exception of Riddle) at first glance seem to be the card soldiers and nothing else – but I think most (if not all of them) have secondary inspirations on top of that, which is what I’ll be speculating on. It seems kind of unlikely that they would base an entire dorm, the largest and first one in the story no less, around what was essentially one ‘villain’. Because let’s be real, no one can name their favourite card soldier.
So in summary, this post is just Heartslabyul brainrot and some observations I've made - Note that I'm pretty far from a Disney expert, and this is all just speculation. Take it with a pinch of salt and enjoy :)
Trey Clover - King of Hearts
The reason that the King of Hearts comes to mind is because of the sort of mediator role both he and Trey play. In Alice in Wonderland, the King is very timid against the Queen and tries his best to calm her down without ever fully standing up to her. It’s clear he cares about her a lot, but is unwilling to call her out on her behaviour, only ever managing to barely fan the flames and clean up her messes (i.e. convincing her to hold a trial for Alice instead of outright beheading her).
This reflects most of Trey’s interactions with Riddle in chapter 1; He cares about him a lot (whether that be platonically or romantically, whatever floats your boat), but is too afraid to confront him about his actions. He tries his best to keep the dorm running smoothly under the oppression, always baking Riddle tarts and trying to talk him out of unnecessarily punishing students who break absurd rules. Don’t quote me on this because I can’t really remember, but I think he also tried to convince Riddle not to behead Ace at one point too???

Ace Trappola - Alice
A lot of people seem to agree that Ace draws some inspiration from Alice. From their names sounding similar, to their shared disregard for things and people they find annoying or unfair, it isn’t difficult to see why so many have come to this conclusion.
What’s more is that they both stood up to their rulers (The Queen and Riddle) and both have a penchant for sneaking off and getting into trouble. I’m referring to Ace’s ceremonial vignette, in which he grabs Epel and sneaks out of orientation in case that wasn’t clear. It’s also mentioned repeatedly that Ace has an older brother who teaches him a lot of things, much like Alice’s older sister does. They both do whatever they can to get out of things they don’t want to do – Alice snuck away from her lesson and Ace refused to clean windows. There’s probably a lot more, but that’s all I can think of off the top of my head.

Cater Diamond - Cinderella
Most people have already heard of this one before, so I’ll keep it brief. Cater shares some major parallels with Cinderella that aren't too hard to spot. Like I mentioned before, I wrote a small theory about Caterella which I linked earlier for anyone who wants to read it :D

Deuce Spade - I honestly have no idea
I’ve thought about it for ages and aside from his card soldier counterpart, I can’t think of anything that makes sense (T⌓T). If you have any theories or even any nonsensical, unorganized thoughts about who Deuce might be based on, please let me know :3

So, I've never done this but I wanted to try it💕

I like the dynamic between Ash and Gou, romantic or not and now that is almost about to finish, i will say that there's something that bothers me A LOT, in pkmn the friendship groups in every gen i feel that they're friends between all of them

It feels unorganic, forced to be together more than a group of friends, like honestly only Ash and Gou are/feels like friends, Koharu is just,, there, which is a shame i really like her and potential dynamic between them but,, i can't lie
It's just sad bcs not only they don't work as a dynamic group but 1 and 1 also don't work out, Gou and Koharu are supposed to be childhood friends, speculating they met for sure when they were 5 years old, basically 5 or 6 years (depending on how old Gou is) of friendship and,,
it doesn't seem like they've been friends THAT long💀, They seem more like friends because they're neighbors or their parents introduced them from a very young age and WHY. It's very difficult to maintain a friendship that you have known since you were very young
but since they want me to believe that despite everything, they never stopped talking to each other since they're so different 💀??
I can't, like their personalities match up so perfect and makes sense why they're friends but
I'm just making hcs bcs journeys doesn't show that 😔

Hi, you can probably tell who this is by the post spam reblog but I just wanted to say that your analysis on bkdk is actually really comforting to read, I've always felt drawn to the pairing because I connected with Izuku (a little emotionally unavailable as he is due to stuff) but always felt separate from the fandom because a lot of people were against it and at the time it was I guess popular to not pair Katsuki with anyone because he was seen as this horrible bully who treated everyone horribly and that's what I just accepted at the time because I was around that age too (at the time 14-15) but, I feel like people 1. put too much pressure on Katsuki often forgetting he is a teenager and starting the story a very young one at that 2. that he is a weird home environment with his mom who has a terrible temper and has been shown to hit him to shut him up (see the home visit chapters before the trip I believe) .. so I could never truly hate Katsuki because I saw myself in him in that way, he was someone I would've tried to support knowing these things (much like Izuku I guess), maybe he had a really big ego because that was partially his way to face everything, him acting out isn't a good thing but I can't help but want to present a case in his favor. Him being good at a lot of things and being The Best, would mean being strong and never being picked on or looked down at (which reminds me of the flashback of Katsuki holding off older kids who were bullying him I believe? the one with Izuku looking at him behind a tree..), would mean not having people breathing down his neck if he was always at the top and stuff .. ,, a bit of this is just my personal speculation of stuff with what I know/remember! this got long but thank you for your posts, they're really good..! have a nice day/night.

So I’ve been thinking a lot about the unfortunate story of Nex Benedict, I know this post is somewhat late but I feel like I have a lot of sentimental attachment to this story having followed it over the last couple weeks and needed to get it out of my system somehow.
I’ll try to recap this as best I can using neutral language.
If at any point this post seems inappropriate specifically for invoking personal feelings more towards the end, please remember 1. The primary focus is always supposed to be about Nex, and 2. The purpose of this post was, as stated, to get these feelings out of my system.
This is going to be a little unorganized compared to my usual work, but with that being said, onwards.
So for those who somehow haven’t heard, there was an unfortunate death in February of this year of a young non-gender conforming high school student who went by the chosen name of Nex Benedict, they were sixteen years old and went to school in the state of Oklahoma, well known for being one of the most right leaning in the country.
Since this is unfortunately the case, students at Nex’s school weren’t very accepting of their gender identity, Nex identified in the past tense as non-binary.
Some outlets picked the story back up when there was speculation surrounding the eventual release of the full autopsy, now the “truth” has come to light, showing that Nex had massive amounts of two medications commonly known as Prozac and Benadryl in their system, subsequently, Nex’s death was ruled as a suicide, which was the speculation for a long time.
For many people, the supposed “suicide” was under suspicious circumstances, there was a beatdown in the bathroom of Nex’s school perpetrated by bullies where it was widely reported Nex “blacked out” in the course of the altercation, it’s not at all unreasonable to think Nex somehow sustained a head or brain injury in the process.
Some of my friends on a server I was on were talking about the story in the process, one of them, not going to take credit for this idea, suggested (previously to the exact amounts of both medications in Nex’s system being publicly available) that it could have been an accidental overdose, they suggested that Nex’s threshold for how much would have been an overdose could have been in some way altered by potential head/brain injury, and furthermore the indications that it was a seizure were somewhat vague to begin with (seizures can happen both from head/brain injuries and overdoses).
Seeing as the full autopsy shows indications that Nex had many times the normal amount of both medications in their system, I’m not sure what to think, it would seem that unless Nex were impaired from a concussion of some sort that there’s even less evidence that it was unintentional.
Some of what we’ve heard has been suspicious to me as well, for one thing, per multiple reports, Nex had took the medication and then went to the living room with their grandmother who they lived with, personally when I attempted (and I think when most people attempt), I wanted to be alone.
Since the unfortunate “suicide” (if that’s what it was), there have been many tributes to Nex across the country, while I’m pessimistic that we’ll be able to influence any real substantive change (for instance, it’s been widely reported that the bullies involved in the beatdown are not being punished since it was “mutual combat,” technically in this instance, Nex attacked first by pouring water on them, so the story goes), it’s a social positive that there’s been this much support shown even after Nex is gone, we can only hope more non-gender conforming youth will get the support they need and that people more broadly will feel galvanized in some way to push for a societal shift.
Something that’s been playing over and over in my head is that I wish somehow I could have been friends with Nex, it sounds strange, maybe even parasocial, but my natural instinct is trying to find some way I could have done something.
Since there was speculation about what exactly had caused Nex’s unfortunate passing, we still weren’t sure of some of the details, many people thought if it was proved that Nex’s passing was linked in some way to head/brain injury that it could prove further responsibility for the bullies, though obviously having beat someone up in the bathroom (which they were forced to go into that didn’t align with their gender identity per sex-specific categorization) soon before their suicide carries some level of guilt.
It’s important to note that while it’s widely believed that the full autopsy and examination was generally non-partisan, it was also overseen by the Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the office responsible for investigating suspicious deaths, and the minister responsible is appointed directly by the Oklahoma Governor (a Republican) as a cabinet position, we would be naive to not assume as often happens some level of cronyism.
To say my heart breaks for Nex would be an understatement, and I know many people feel the same way.
It’s hard to know where we go from here, but may this unfortunate event remind us of what we’re fighting for and why.
If this is the last non-gender conforming youth for such unfortunate circumstances to befall (which it obviously won’t be, this stuff happens fairly regularly), we’d at least be doing justice.
I think it’s a good thing that the truth came out, for one thing because it’s kind of become a hyperfixation for me, secondly (and more importantly) because the truth being known, irregardless of what we think about it, is justice for Nex.
It’s important that we still do what we can, the slow shifting incremental progress and the social opinion improving over time.
I wish for the bullies to have to grapple forever more with the totality of what they’ve done, taking away a young non-binary life.
I wish for the bad faith actors who allowed for the sort of rhetoric that inspires these bullies to be voted out of office. (It’s Oklahoma, so it’s unlikely.)
I wish somehow Nex could know that their story inspires countless people, this community (speaking of the LGBTQ+ community) is one of the most beautiful things and I’m happy that in some way I can be a part of it, we rise together, and we fall together, shown in the unchanging march of history.
I will hope that we can push for real change in the aftermath of this unfortunate loss, we can feel sad for a while and then continue the work.

Season 4 wasn't great. I've LOVED every other season but for this one the characters were off, the jokes fell flat (if I hear one more fart joke I stg) and the huge time skip wasn't great either.
The whole season feels like they could have condensed it down to 2 episodes but they decided to add a million characters and plot lines that didn't matter.
Idk. It looks like they overworked the batter and the fluffy pancake we were promised is now flatter than a witch's tit.
I mean, still technically a pancake. So I'm not mad, just disappointed.
disclaimer: i LOVE the dragon prince, i loved seasons 1-3 and i enjoyed season 4. here's the deal, season 4 is a fun season and i enjoyed watching it. i do think, however, that the writing got a mediocre a little too often for it to be worth the 3-year wait. if you disagree with me, i am more than open to hear thoughts and counterarguments. seriously. i think discussion is healthy and it's something i actually really enjoy because i like talking. also, i'm way too tired to have people yelling at me/to yell at other people with a different opinion than me...i am a college student and i am already dying so please, be respectful. i am not trying to actively insult anyone who liked season 4 and i am also not vehemently hating on the show [criticisim != hate] i'm more than happy for the people who enjoyed the season and i really do like to hear thoughts. with that out of the way, hello anon, here's a wall of unorganized text that attempts to convey my feelings overall
since i am an actual child, i laughed at the jokes but that's beside the point. i get where people are coming from when they say they were poorly timed and/or didn't land well
but on the topic of jokes, season 4 had me laughing at a lot of things i....shouldn't have been laughing at. and honestly, it makes me feel like an asshole lol but i'm sorry some of the more emotional or intense scenes are just really goofy with the way they were executed and yes, if someone wants me to, i can go in depth with this, but for the purpose of this ask (especially since it wasn't focused on the humor in the first place) i won't give my thoughts here
i'm going to be very blunt: tdp has kind of backed itself into a corner if there isn't a twist or some sort of major consequence for rayla leaving. if rayla leaves for 2 years and nothing comes from it other than relationship drama, that's a bit yikes. i'm not saying that everything should have been resolved this season, but the show doesn't even try to tell the audience that something bigger may be happening. if there IS a bigger consequence, the show doesn't properly hint at it/set it up, and THATS where the issue is. when it gives us nearly nothing to speculate off of, we have no idea where her character or the story is going. <- this is not a catalyst for mystery, it's frustrating because everyone (especially rayla) feels out of character and for what
also, this is a nitpick, but callum letting rayla go after viren in episode 9 was not earned.
anyways, the season had to reintroduce us to the characters that we haven't seen for 3 years, and it has to inform everyone about the 2-year time skip. the time skip, in my opinion, was not done well. time skips are used to grow up the characters and introduce new characters, environments, and potential plot points for the rest of the story that is being told. the dragon prince does not do this very well. yes, there are new characters, but they aren't even necessarily relevant for the rest of the story, so it feels like wasted time. the candle woman and the n'than dude show up and then drop off of the face of the earth never to be seen again. terry is fine, but i do think it's a bit odd to give claudia, someone who has gone off the deep end, a really goofy and lighthearted boyfriend (he's just there to keep her morality in check a little bit, i.e. giving rayla the coins). i think overall, a lot of things happen in season 4, but it feels like a very small portion of said things actually set up for the future.
i've been avoiding bringing this up, mostly because i'm lazy and i don't want to find exact quotes from the show, but i'll bite. the writing for seasons 1-3 felt authentic and natural. the writing in season 4 felt so on-the-nose, shallow, and almost preachy.

"they might be at first. but it will change when they meet her"
^ ezran says this and yup, that's enough on that topic, no need to explore it further. i think the writing overall was just so lackluster and forced compared to previous seasons. again, i could elaborate on this but i've gone on for long enough in this post so if someone wants me to just ask...might take a really long time for me to respond though getting my thoughts in order takes forever.

You don't want to know how long this response took pfft. I uh, had too many thoughts. Also, don't take this as spoilers for my fic, this is mostly stuff based on the Fontaine stuff. (also there is no leak stuff here because I haven't looked at any in relation to this haha, and uh, pls don't tell me any story leaks everyone)

But yes, now that's out of the way! So since 4.0 I've been convinced Childe's whale/the thing that Skirk saw in him is some manifestation (or something) of the primordial sea (will be refereed to as PS from now on). Or maybe an abyssal taint within it. Not sure on the specifics, but the reason Childe was deemed 'guilty' was because the PS was the source of the disappearances, and well he is part of that sea.
Going to talk about Furina for a hot minute (it's relevant), and uh spoilers for my Furina fic so beware. I still stand by my theory from that fic that Furina is also connected to the PS and in fact in some manner the cause of the prophecy/PS being fucked up/is the reason everyone in Fontaine will be dissolved. A bunch of canon evidence about Remuria implies that Remus fucking around with PS is the cause of the current dissolve the fake french waters and I believe Furina is a product of those experiments, a literal false god made by a mad king.
And to throw a bit of a crazy theory out there, I think she specifically is the reason the big old abyss rift opened up in the middle of Remuria back then, and as we know from Skirk/the whale showing up in the present day, history is repeating itself as the Abyss is back here again.
And Furina knows that (or sometimes knows that, I'm in the boat that her mind is fractured, and she only sometimes is aware of certain things) and that's why she took Neuvillette under her wing. Because to her, he is the only one who can judge her and carry out the punishment. Basically, I think Neuvi is effectively her method of suicide, a punishment for her sins against Remuria and now Fontaine.
Okay, so the whale (and Skirk). To get this out of the way, I can see Skirk literally being the whale, or I can see her being someone keeping an eye on the whale for a variety of reasons. I'll be honest I'm not sure what is up with her (I still want to say she is Khaenri'ahn, but tbh I've just believed that for so long I'm a bit biased on that front lol). I'm thinking the latter is more likely, but honestly it can go either way.
But back to the whale, as I mentioned up top, it's very likely a manifestation of some kind of the PS. My speculation is that it's Furina's Abyssal counterpart. Whether it's literally Furina or parallel creature to her, idk (Furina's gameplay literally has her controlling little sea creatures...). But I would lean on the latter, I think the whale is like the 'natural' manifestation of it, while Furina is the man made one. Furina exists in the human world, while the whale is in the Abyss (Furina has a lot of duology in her design, her eyes, the flip-flopping of her personality, her gameplay modes, her con is half greek half latin, etc).
And finally I'm returning to Ajax, he is a child of two worlds. He crossed the borders between the human world and the Abyss and came out changed (but unlike many, he was able to leave with his mind mostly intact) He is named after a Greek hero (which side note, Enkanomiya, aka lots of Greek stuff, is where the prophecy about the Dragon of Water being reborn is from) and currently going to be facing a Roman goddess.
He, much like Furina is a nest of contradictions. His title Tartaglia, the old stutterer, doesn't suit him at all. His disconnect from the rest of the Harbingers (He is arguably the most sane of the bunch yet is a nexus of chaos), his obsession with childhood innocence despite his path covered in blood. He is human, yet can turn into a big old monster.
And while this is more generally a Harbinger trait, he much like Furina is a big old performer (The Harbingers are named after a French/Italian form of theater, and Furina is Roman goddess who rules a sort of French nation). And with that a massive liar to those closest to him (for Ajax it's his younger siblings and for Furina its Neuvillette). Not to get literary on us, but the two of them are foils to each other. The lying Celestial goddess and the child who fell into the Abyss.
He walks the line between the human world and Abyss (and is a representative of the divine via the Tsaritsa), and I think he's going to be the bridge between Furina and the Whale, and the means of which both will be saved from the corruption that has been eating them alive for thousands of years.
While I'm not sure what exactly will go down, we've been a bit spoiled by Furina's gameplay, which shows that she has gained control of the 2 sides of her. I believe the Furina that we've met so far is only part of a whole (possibly the other half is the Oratrice or maybe the Abyss as a big whale, maybe both maybe neither lol), and her story will be reuniting those pieces. And she'll be able to do that by seeing Ajax and his own contradictory pieces that are still a whole despite the disconnect. And maybe on Ajax's part, he too can learn to make peace with the contradictions within him, and he'll be able to turn into Foul Legacy without hurting himself (and maybe that Legacy will stop being so foul).
Um that was very rambly and got very esoteric near the end and probably didn't make a lot of sense. I'm likely super wrong, but it's fun to wildly speculate sometimes haha. Thank u for giving me the excuse, though I don't know if this is what u wanted when u asked me this pffft.

"Can we talk about the BNHA OC Comeback timeline? I've been dying to talk about my theories for the BNHA OC Comeback timeline all day!"
-Me to anyone willing to listen.
Here are the ramblings of me, someone who has no restraint when it comes to coming up with crazy theories about their interests, rambling about their theories on how the BNHA OC Comeback timeline could work.
Note: this is all speculation, and if the people in charge of the AU deem it to not be canon it is not. This was just something I did for fun because I wanted to do some writing. That is why I said could happen and not should happen, because this is all just fun speculation, and none of the other fandoms I am a part of have been able to scratch that itch for me lately.
Also, I will be talking about spoilers for a majority of the anime, but mostly stuff revealed in seasons 3-5, with a little bit of stuff from seasons 1 and 2, since those are the seasons with a lot of the important details that I will be attempting to write work arounds for. I will also be using the Wiki's names for story arcs (a list of which can be found here) when referring to specific plot events.

Also, to start this off, this speculation was pretty much brought upon by this post from the official BNHA OC Comeback blog, but what is important here is the tags.
I think the idea of Class 1-A and Class 1-B being third years would be a good starting point for what I want to be diving into.
First point should be a little obvious but in this timeline, Deku still inherits One for All from All Might. This is mainly because if he didn't, if someone where to write or draw an interaction between this version of class 1-A with, lets say class 1-X for this example, Deku would likely not be there, due to not having a quirk, causing the question of "who is the 20th student in class 1-A?" One for All would likely be passed down to someone else (most likely Mirio because Nighteye was going to recommend him to All Might in the first place, and if Deku is not going to inherit it, I doubt there would be anything in the way of Mirio getting One for All)
Second point I want to point out is the battle between All Might and All for One that had happened before the events of the show. I think All Might will still suffer from his injuries from the fight, and continue being the symbol of peace, even if it is killing him. BUT I think it would be best if All for One gets defeated and gets put into hiding, not initiating any of his plans or finding Tomura Shigaraki. Tomura never getting taken in by One for All would also cause the League of Villains to never form (at least not in the way we are familiar with) so we.
Third Point is, although this is speculation, and I do not know where Nomus come from, I do think, even without the league of villains, there would be some sort of lab somewhere where Nomus are being created, likely as one of the last things All for One was able to set into motion before going into hiding in the AU. (I mostly went with this because I think Nomus as a concept are really cool, and I think it would be great to have some sort of generic enemy for the 1-X and 1-Y students to have to face without the need of creating a new organization)
Fourth Point is because All for One is in hiding, so All for One can not force All Might to reveal his "injured form" (I dunno what else to call it), but I do think when All Might and Sato get engaged, he will maybe (and this is a big maybe) reveal it to the public on his own, as more of a "I'm retiring and settling down now" then a "You must keep fighting because I can not" thing, causing crime to not sky rocket, but still rise because there is no more symbol of peace, since there is still the possibility (at least in the publics mind) that All Might could come out of retirement and go back to saving people.
Alright now I begin with some of the actual stuff that actively happened in the show that Class 1-A and Class 1-B had experienced.
Alright so everything at the beginning of the anime is the same, going up until the USJ arc. This is because, as stated previously, there is no League of Villains to attack the USJ. The only thing I can think of that could possibly stay the same is the All Might vs Nomu fight, because I think Nomus as a concept are cool and that was an awesome fight. The only way for the fight to happen though is that the Nomu is let loose somewhere else, like a highly populated area, because it makes no sense for it to be at USJ without the League.
Next is the sports festival, and this would also go the same. But after that is probably the most interesting arc I leave mostly unchanged, being the Hero Killer Arc. This is because, even without a League of Villain's, there would still be people following Stain's ideologies after he is detained, so I think maybe there could be some sort of small unorganized group of people following Stain's beliefs that there are no more "true" heroes. The group of stain followers would likely be the characters that had joined the League of Villains after the Hero Killer Arc (like Dabi, Himiko Toga, and Twice). It is also unchanged in the sense that the students are interning with Pro Heroes, and that Nomus are running around, being a cool concept (can you tell I like Nomus? I just think they are neat.).
Next is the Final exams Arc, which would go unchanged, but the next arc, the Forrest Camp Training arc, would also not have a League attack (because there is no league), and Class 1-A and Class 1-B have a normal experience at the training camp, causing there to be no Hideout Raid arc, because there is no hideout to raid.
Next, the Provisional License Exams are the same results, so no change here, except Camie Utsushimi would be there instead of Toga's impersonation of her, and still ending up to need to take the Remedial Course.
After that is the Shie Hassaikai Arc and then Remedial Course Arc. The Shie Hassaikai Arc would actually largely go unchanged because it is mainly just another internship for the Hero Course students, with the only change to the arc being the League involvement being removed, even though this would leave some plot holes, which I will fill by saying the small unorganized Stain followers would take the place of the league (since Toga and Twice are apart of the Stain followers group, so they would still end up working for them, filling the same rolls they had in the original Arc). Also Overhaul doesn't lose his arms because there would be no reason for him to get them ripped off (because there is no League of Villains). ALSO this means Eri would be canon to the BNHA OC Comeback, which I wanted to mention since from my knowledge she is a fan favorite. After that, the Remedial Course would go unchanged.
I'm also going to say that Mirio will have already gotten his quirk back during the main events of the AU, since Nighteye had predicted that he would get it back before Nighteye had died. How he gets it back will likely go unanswered, since I have not read ahead to the most recent chapter of the manga, only watching the anime, so we should leave the answer to how he got it back to be unclear just in case he gets it back in a spoiler-y way.
Then, lastly as of right now, the rest of the arcs would go unchanged up untill the latest arc where Todoroki, Midoriya, and Bakugo are interning with Endeavor, excluding the parts of the arc going into the Meta Liberation War, which can not properly go through thanks to their being no League of Villains, but especially because there is no Tomura.
Alright now we get to the stuff some of you are here for, being the new info and timeline stuff that occurs during the year Class 1-X and 1-Y are first years. First off, Class 1-A and Class 1-B would now be third years, which was a concept brought up in the original post that cause my brain to go into theory mode.
I would also like to pose the idea of a new "Big Three", replacing Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado (and also the nameless "Big Three" from when 1-A/1-B had been second years in this AU) since 1-A and 1-B are now all third years. This new "Big Three" would be made up of Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and Izuku Midoriya, seeing as out of Class 1-A and Class 1-B, those three have shown to be the most consistent heavy hitters (and also being the most relevant to the original plot).
Aside from that, Class 1-A and 1-B would not be doing that much in the AU aside from the new "Big Three" occasionally helping out the first year Hero Course students with their studies.
Anyway if you read this far I really appreciate it. I have some more ramblings about stuff in the tags, but its more side stuff that doesn't really effect this AU within another AU.

A mess of my unorganized, tinhatty ramblings about Taron and Richard and sexuality, under the cut...
Ok so the two questions I’ve been asked to address are whether I think Taron and Richard really hooked up or got together in some way, and whether I think Taron is queer, and I think the answer to both is yes. Taron has a lot of very close male friends. He is very very affectionate with them and has mentioned this many many times. He loves male affection, he loves a bromance, etc. He loves this talking point. Another talking point he loved during the press tour for Rocketman was that mutual friends of his and Richard’s had been “trying to set them up for years.” Ok, two things to that point. Whichever friends these were, they almost certainly knew that Richard is not straight, and secondly, I have never heard of two grown men whose friends wanted to “set them up” unless they wanted to set them up. Which I think is what they actually meant.
Taron has also talked about how he had a sexuality crisis as an adolescent. He had really bad anxiety and some of it, he thought, came from thinking he was gay. He says he went to therapy, and this therapist convinced him he wasn’t gay, he was just anxious. He tells this story so cavalierly that it’s almost a little shocking, in retrospect. Did he get inadvertently put through some sort of low-impact gay conversion therapy? Maybe. Whatever this therapist told him, he made it work in his head well enough, for a while. He found theatre. He found dressing up and getting attention for something he loved. He still has these very intense best friendships with the boys from Aberystwyth, one of whom I remain convinced he was in love with, and was in love with him. He eventually got movie roles, and on one of his movies, he met his girlfriend. He calls her his partner, which I know is a British thing, but somehow coming from him makes it sound as queer as I believe they are, so I love it.
So, this brings us to Rocketman. Taron has been effusive, glowing, adoring, enraptured, enamored and in every possible way ass over teakettle in love with Richard since they met. He like lost his mind a little bit...or found it. I think the process of making this movie took a lot out of both him and Richard, and changed them in various ways, permanently.
I think they hooked up probably very early on. I think it became part of the process for him, and he convinced himself it was helping him build his character, really feel like Elton. I think they had a lot of drunken, messy nights. I think he either explained it to his girlfriend, or just told her about it, and she tolerated it during the filming, but I totally think she knew. Richard’s girlfriend at the time was, eh, whatever, (sorry, I don’t know anything about her honestly and she seems like a non-starter in his life, eek. Sorry sorry.) and I think they just...did stuff. I can’t speculate on specific acts because that’s what the fanfic is for. But they fooled around, and they enjoyed themselves. No one ever talks about what goes on on film sets, so they knew they were safe, no matter how much they maybe bled over. It worked, and the results for the film.....I mean fuck.
Absolutely this went on through the time Richard wrapped— Taron’s insta post from Richard’s last day is extremely telling, imo. He is being funny, but he’s also guarding his true feelings under the joke of how much he can’t stand him. Oh, because, that’s right, Taron caught fucking feelings. Surprise surprise.
So, Richard wrapped, and I think he left for a minute and then came back to London. They went out the night before the Carpool Karaoke filming and got “blind drunk” (Taron’s own words) and something definitely went down that night because they were...how they were.
You can just look at Richard’s reactions when Taron tells him he loves him, or how Taron calls him “old fruit.” They’re so fucking cute but they’re also way way over the top in that “heh heh we’ve kind of been fucking and now we have to remember how to act like best buds* again and I hope this isn’t going to get awkward later on” kind of way. They overdo* it, but it plays great for the show. The looks between them are genuine, but if you look carefully you can see Richard restrain, just a bit more than Taron.
Richard went right back to the US after this thing was done.
Taron wrapped the film.
At some point within literally 2-3 days, two unbelievable things happened:
Taron broke up with Emily, and Richard met and somehow instantly became attached at the hip with Brandon.
Taron had a gay crisis when he was 13 and he had another one when he was about to turn 29. I am sure of it. He had fallen for Richard, and didn’t know any other way to handle it than to panic, dump his girlfriend and shoot his shot.
Taron and Richard went to this weird Land Rover launch event thing in late November, literally looking like a couple. Taron had blown up his life and shaved his head. They had a weird energy between them— my theory is Taron tried to tell him at least some of this that night, and it backfired. Richard was either committed to this thing with Brandon, or just didn’t want to try or even think about dating Taron like that. They had fun, and Richard loves him, but “not in that way, mate.”
Sometime around Christmas, Elton and David invited them—Taron and Richard—over to dinner. I think this was some kind of Elton ambush. Richard had a boyfriend but it was the two of them who got invited — and they thought this was some kind of big holiday dinner party but it was just them, and two other gay couples in their 50’s, 60’s or 70’s. I think Elton wanted to make them see what was right there if they wanted it, or at the very least give them the Big Talk, if there was anything left unsaid, about life, and living it, and how to be happy and avoid cocaine.
They didn’t get together any more, I don’t think. Richard didn’t come out but he didn’t go back in, either. He went on holiday with Brandon, and Taron had what I think of as his sad gay winter. He might have hooked up with other people, I have no idea. At some point he took out Elton’s earring, and then he got back with Emily.
By May, when he and Richard saw each other again in New York, enough time had passed that they had a beautiful, bittersweet comfort between them, imo.

there are a lot of feelings there. Richard doesn’t look like this with, like, anyone. also they’re drunk.
now they’re just messy and wasted but something went down later because wow
the Met Gala was my last big tinhatty night for them, I guess. I have seen somewhere that B might have been there at the afterparties? idk man but they were hanging out with some party kinda people and doing some party kinda stuff so anything could have happened to leave Taron looking like that. ***I was informed that he was not there and was in fact having a small fit and unfollowing Richard on instagram while this event and these photos were unfolding, so. yeah. 👀***
Then the film came out...the rest is history. Taron will still take a loving jab at Richard in an insta comment occasionally. I think it’s just his little way of dealing with that soft sting that hasn’t quite gone away. Richard probably never sees them. But if you ask Taron about Richard one day in many years he will still probably call him one of my very best friends.
*This kind of overkill of being best friends became Taron’s defense mechanism for the entire rest of the press tour. He proclaimed his love for Richard at every possible turn. He asked him to marry him. He told fans he’s at the front of the queue. He called him his best friend over and over. He was making sure, in every public place, that Richard knew that Taron still loved him regardless and there were no hard feelings for what happened between them and there never will be.

“Ready?” Lexi waits for confirmation before picking up a shot of tequila and tipping it back. You both gulp down your respective drinks and suck on limes in tandem as Tim pounds on the bar enthusiastically. You shake your head, puckering at the after taste and shouting a little hoot.
“Fuck, I’m too Goddamn old for tequila shots,” you laugh.
“Come on, meemaw.” Lexi laughs throwing an arm over your shoulders. “You gotta live a little.”
“She’s right.” Leaning in, Tim tips back a swig of cognac. “Life is short, we all need to let go a lot more.”
“Yes, yes we do,” Millie chimes in, throwing back her chardonnay.
“I’m trying.” You watch them, the crowd milling around the bar on a weeknight.
This started out as a Tuesday night survivor support group, but over several months it’s evolved into a much-needed space to blow off steam. Last week it was an evening at the arboretum at Harvard University, tonight it’s shots and gossip at a local dive bar.
“Are you coming back to work?” you ask Tim.
“Yeah. Soon I think, Winchester said I could take another six months if I wanted, but my therapist thinks I’m ready. Who am I to argue with a trained professional.” He taps the rim of his glass and the bartender refills it.
“Hey, as long as you’re ready we’re happy to have you back.” Millie smiles, inching a little closer. You suspect she likes Tim, she won’t come out and admit it but she finds a way to bring him up in nearly every conversation.
If it wasn’t for a limp on his right side, no one would ever know he’d been shot. But there was nerve damage that will most likely never be corrected so he’s stuck with a permanent reminder.
“I don’t think I can spend any more time in my apartment without going crazy. Trauma or not, all this paid time off has been incredible.” Tim’s forever positive. He can see the bright side of anything.
“Me too,” Millie throws up a fist in solidarity. “I can’t believe you went back so soon.” She looks at you.
“Working helps me keep my mind off things. I was glad to go back. And I like the new building.”
“And the new office,” Millie grins, elbowing you. “She’s a hotshot now.”
“I’ll have to go check it out,” Tim confirms. “And the new boss, how’s he?”
“Honestly? A dream,” you gush, always happy to talk about your new position. “After working for Pepper I had this distorted image of a healthy work-life balance, but Cole is awesome.”
“He’s not bad to look at either,” Lexi pipes up, fishing a cherry from the bottom of her empty glass.
“He’s all yours.” You wiggle your eyebrows at her. “I’m just happy he’s not a psychopath. Speaking of which, any idea when Pepper is coming back?”
“No, and we’re not in a hurry,” Lexi snorts, rolling her eyes. “Life is so much easier without her.”
“Easier but painfully unorganized,” Millie explains. “She’s a bitch but I don’t think we realized how much she truly did until she was gone. To be honest, the whole department is a hot mess right now. We’ve got associates with three assistants assigned to them and associates without anyone.”
“Give and take with everything, I suppose.” Checking your watch you frown when you realize it’s nearly ten. You have to work early tomorrow and time flies whenever you’re with these three.
“Did you read about Winchester?” Tim sing-songs like he’s about to dish out a juicy piece of gossip. “Any idea who the mystery girlfriend is?”
Your cheeks bloom bright red, trying to act natural.
“Please,” Lexi looks disgusted, still raw that he turned her down. Not that it’s stopped her from hinting at the fact that they had some sort of tawdry affair. “I feel bad for whoever it is.”
“Why?” Millie scoffs. “He’s super-rich, he can get whatever he wants. I know women who put up with a lot more for a lot less. And we don’t even know that it’s a woman. Maybe he’s gay. You never know.”
“No way,” Tim shakes his head no. “I guarantee you it’s some model or actress. The guy has Leonardo DiCaprio syndrome.”
“What does that mean?” you ask.
“You know, only dates women fifteen years younger than him that look good in bikinis.”
“Don’t you think,” you start, turning your chair to face him. “That if he was really that much a playboy someone would have found out by now?”
“He came on to me,” Lexi inserts her made-up encounter.
“See,” Tim gestures toward her.
You sigh, trying to contain your amusement at the speculation. Lexi’s wild tales don’t even bother you anymore, you see her for what she is. Mindless and starving for attention.
“I think it’s someone at W & S.” Millie finishes her drink. “The guy works all the time, when would he even have time to meet someone? Watch, one day we’ll find it’s Pepper or that redhead from human resources that looks like a Victoria Secret model.”
“Maybe we’ll find out someday, maybe not.” You tip back the rest of your vodka and cranberry and dig through your purse for cash. “I gotta go to bed.”
“Me too,” Millie pats your shoulder “We can share an Uber.”
“I got you.” Tim lays a hundred on the counter. “I’m happy to pick up the tab for tonight. I look forward to Tuesday’s all week. You guys keep me sane.”
“You are seriously the best,” you give him a quick hug and turn to Lexi, kissing her on the cheek. “See you later.”

You’re completely lost in a YouTube video about the migratory patterns of whales when there’s a knock at your office door. Before you have the chance to shut down the browser the door opens and Sam slips inside.
“Hey,” you light up. “What are you doing here?”
“You weren’t answering your phone, which usually means you’re working.” He points toward the computer screen. “Or not.”

Hello!! Unfortunately I can’t really come up with anything on the spot, because despite seeing posts like that around before, I’m very unorganized and bad at keeping track of posts... so I decided to write you one on the spot instead, lmao!! I’ve been planning to write a more coherent, longer analysis for a while but still haven’t gotten around to it, but I’ll share some of my condensed thoughts here. The sefikura relationship is what intrigues me most about FFVII after all, and I usually yell quite a lot about them on twitter!
You say you’re new to FFVII, which means that I should definitely give a spoiler warning here. I’m going to address spoilery stuff from the OG, Remake and also some of the compilation material, because it’s hard to talk about their relationship without doing so. (I’ll also assume you’re familiar enough with the world of FFVII to know what I mean when I talk about stuff like SOLDIER, Shinra, Jenova, the Lifestream and such... this would get too long if I explained all of that here, lol)
Okay, so. Cloud and Sephiroth are narrative foils, which means their stories and arcs parallel each other in many ways. The most central themes surrounding them are their loneliness, sadness and how they cope with trauma.
Sephiroth was most likely raised by Hojo in a Shinra lab, and if you know Hojo, you know that there’s no way Sephiroth was treated as anything but an experiment. He never knew his mother, and the only person he had any respect for - Professor Gast - vanished when he was young and this seems to have given him abandonment issues. Cloud, on the other hand, had a mother but not much else. He felt alienated by the other children growing up in Nibelheim and seems to have been generally disliked by the adults as well, due to them blaming him for the time Tifa got hurt. In other words, they were both very lonely as children.
Shinra sent Sephiroth to war when he was very young (people disagree quite a lot on how old Sephiroth actually is but it’s assumed that he was around 12), and as the years went by, Sephiroth became the poster child of SOLDIER. We know that Cloud grew to idolize Sephiroth for how strong and brave the media made him out to be (A.K.A. had a celebrity crush on him), and that was what inspired Cloud to leave town and try to join SOLDIER.
As we see in the prequel game Crisis Core, Sephiroth at this point is well-respected by his peers after his efforts in conquering Wutai. His two only friends are Genesis and Angeal, who are also SOLDIER 1st Class, but they end up leaving SOLDIER, which means Sephiroth gets left behind. Considering that he already had abandonment issues to begin with, being abandoned by his only friends must’ve hit hard. I’d say this sets the foundation for Sephiroth’s downward spiral. However, at this point, I would argue that Sephiroth is still a good person at heart, despite all the trauma he has endured. He persists, refusing to hunt down his deserter friends, and even begins a hesitant friendship with Zack, who was Angeal’s apprentice.
Cloud befriends Zack as well, but doesn’t make it into SOLDIER and instead remains in the ordinary Shinra infantry, which is a crushing loss for him because he can’t achieve his dream. It’s at this point I like to imagine that if Zack had introduced Sephiroth and Cloud to one another, things could’ve gone better. Sephiroth is older than Cloud and outranks him, but with how isolated Sephiroth has been for his entire life I think there’s potential for a meaningful friendship here. They’re both very lonely and neither of them is really a people-person, so I think they’d get along well once Cloud gets over his hero-worship and Sephiroth manages to open up a bit. I would say that sefikura, if Nibelheim didn’t happen, has the potential to be a healthy relationship.
But of course, that’s not how canon goes. The Nibelheim mission happens, Sephiroth finds out that he’s not human and finally snaps after years of mistreatment, burning the town to the ground. Cloud manages to kill Sephiroth, ends up spending several years as an experiment, gets injected with Jenova cells, goes into a coma, wakes up just in time to watch Zack die, and ends up so traumatized that he creates a false identity for himself as a former SOLDIER 1st Class.
We’ve now reached OG FFVII. At this point, Sephiroth, while technically dead and chilling in the Lifestream, uses Jenova as a vessel to move around and takes advantage of Cloud, using him as a puppet for his own gains. He constantly dehumanizes Cloud and generally doesn’t give a damn about him as a person, while Cloud resents Sephiroth but can’t resist his manipulations. In a lot of ways, I think Sephiroth projects his own trauma onto Cloud here, because if Sephiroth had to suffer as Shinra’s puppet for his entire life, then Cloud should suffer as Sephiroth’s puppet as well. As a victim of horrific abuse, Sephiroth has a lot of justified anger, but he takes it out on the wrong person entirely. It’s definitely a very unhealthy situation.
But of course, unlike Sephiroth, Cloud doesn’t let his trauma define him. He reaches his breaking point and falls apart completely, but he gets back up, because unlike Sephiroth, he has a support system of friends who stand by his side and work together with him to defeat Sephiroth at the end of the game. For most of his life, Cloud has been chasing Sephiroth. This is where he finally catches up and surpasses him.
And here, the tables turn. Cloud kills Sephiroth but that’s never stopped Sephiroth before. This is where Sephiroth first develops his Cloud-obsession. He fixates on Cloud so hard that his hatred keeps him from completely fading away into the Lifestream. Cloud is literally his lifeline. (Isn’t it romantic? lol) He returns in the sequel movie Advent Children, where he fights Cloud one-on-one and basically just taunts him for 10 minutes before Cloud kills him again. It’s implied that Sephiroth can keep coming back as long as Cloud exists as well.
Canon beyond this has, for a long time, been unknown territory. There’s a sequel game called Dirge of Cerberus that the fandom at large pretends doesn’t exist because it’s... kinda weird to say the least, lol. And it doesn’t really have anything to do with sefikura anyway. People have written post-canon sefikura as something that continues to be toxic, but there’s also fic that offers redemption and forgiveness for Sephiroth, acknowledging that he was a victim too. It’s left very open-ended.
All of this basically explains how I see sefikura. They’re two people who were alike in many ways, who could have been friends before everything fell apart around them, if things had been different. But they never did meet, before it was too late. Instead, they keep chasing each other, full of hate even though they’re probably the only people in the world who could truly understand each other’s trauma. The only real difference is that Cloud had friends to back him up while Sephiroth was abandoned, and I really, truly wish they could get an opportunity to reach some sort of understanding. And that would basically be it...
...but then the Remake happened. Diving into speculation territory here. I firmly believe that the Sephiroth we see in the Remake is a time traveller, or is at least aware of the future to some degree, and that the remake is actually a sequel where Sephiroth is quite literally remaking OG ffvii. He’s completely obsessed with Cloud to a degree that he never was in the OG, and considering how loyal the developers stayed to the characterization of basically every other OG character this immediately stuck out to me like a sore thumb even though it took me until the end of the game to piece it together.
I’m not kidding here. Sephiroth is desperate for Cloud’s attention in the Remake. He's constantly trying to touch Cloud, everything he says to Cloud makes him sound like a pining ex-husband, and he generally doesn’t do anything to harm Cloud except scaring him shitless simply by showing up. He actually has quite a few moments when he’s very gentle with Cloud. At the end of the game he basically even proposes to Cloud by asking Cloud to join him and genuinely seems upset when Cloud rejects him. And even then, he claims he doesn’t want Cloud (nor himself) to die.
For the life of me, I can’t wrap my head around what Sephiroth’s goal is in the Remake and I have no idea what they’re planning to do with his character in future parts, but I’m very excited to find out. The sefikura content in the Remake was very delicious and at this point the only thing they could do to surpass it in the future would be to have them actually make out on screen, lmao.
I hope this is coherent enough to read, I basically just tried to condense everything I could into a neat little essay and there’s definitely things I didn’t mention here, lol. I’ll write a proper, more well-thought out analysis another time!

Let me start by saying that I mostly kept this to information we’ve been given and tried to stay away from too many theories because this post got long. Because of that, I’m actually going to put everything I can find under a read more/keep reading tab. (Although that being said, I’m always happy to answer asks about theories, I just wanted to keep this post from becoming a ridiculous length).
There’s actually been a ton of information about Good Girls season 3 so far (albeit, some of it vague haha) so I’m sure I’ve missed some things. Saying that, I recommend checking out @pynkhues‘ blog (which I’m sure you have), particularly this tag for extra details and discussions as well as info I might have missed (I find Sophie often posts about, reblogs, or is sent asks regarding details of season 3 quite regularly, ha).
The Good Girls tag on here is also great to check out as well as any official social media accounts for the show as well as cast and crew. To be honest, a lot of behind the scenes stuff is posted to IG stories which delete after 24 hours and I find they’re not always captured in time to find elsewhere.
Anyway, everything below is split into sections and there are sources provided (said sources will potentially give extra information on top of what I’ve put!) I really hope this is organised enough for you and it’s not everything but I hope it’s what you were looking for! ^_^
Firstly, there’s this spoiler post that was made but if you don’t like spoilers and just want ‘official’ information that is announced on socials and through blog articles, I’d recommend skipping it :)

Saying that, they’re potentially filming right through till March (source). As of right now, we’ve definitely got about 7 episodes done in terms of table reads (and filming too I think?).
We got the titles for the first 3 episodes (source) and due to IG stories we know episode 7 is called, “Vegas, Baby!”
Information about previous cast members (not including the obvious, ha):
Basically every kid on the show has been photographed on set including David Miranda who plays Marcus (a lot of the kids have instagram and you’ll see a ton of sources there).
It’s possible Jessica Walter will be back as Judith (source)
Sally Pressman is back as Nancy (source)
I don’t think it’s been confirmed if Zach Gilford is back as Greg but if Nancy is back, I’m assuming he’ll at least make an appearance.
Carlos Aviles is back as one of Rio’s boys (source - he’s also posted in IG stories about it too)
Julian Grant who plays JT (the Quick Cash guy) is set to return for at least 3x01 according to IMDb (source)
Sam Huntington doesn’t seem to be coming back for season 3 (source - his thank you tweet after season 2 finished).
Allison Tolman is playing the lead in the show Emergence so probably won’t return for this season (I guess it depends on schedule but I doubt it).
New cast members:
Charlyne Yi was cast as the fourth good girl Lucy who was hinted at at the end of season 2 and was also teased in interviews with Jenna Bans (source)
Jackie Cruz was cast a Rhea (source) and while that source revealed that Rhea was going to become friends with Beth we now have information as to who else she’s connected to as well as first look pictures of both Rhea and Beth in season 3 (source - if you don’t want to be spoiled, I wouldn’t recommend checking that source)
Ione Skye was cast as Gayle who works with Dean at his new job at a hot tub store (source) and Ione has made a couple of instagram posts like this one and this one. And I also want to say she made some IG stories but they only last 24 hours so I can’t link any, ha.
Noureen Dewulf was cast as Krystal (source) - she’s also posted a few IG stories in the past which confirmed her character’s name and also showed her on set with various people but mainly Reno Wilson bringing about the idea that Krystal will be connected to stan.
Wesley Kimmel was cast as Tim (source) and there’s really no information about him that I’ve noticed but he’s often seen with the other kids in photos (mainly the Bolands) and a lot of people have pointed out he looks like Matthew Lillard so there’s speculation he’ll be connected to them (the other theory is that he’s Gayle’s son).
Brent Jeremiah was cast a Thug #2 lmao (source) but the interesting thing is that he actually mentioned working with Christina which means this ‘thug’ is likely connected to Beth’s journey into crime (whether that be good or bad remains to be seen though).
There was also an IG post about Alex Jayne Go on set or something but I can’t seem to find it, however, she’s listed as ‘Fiona’ in 3x03 on IMDb (source)
Naomi Grossman was cast as Dr Amanda Johnson (source) and her role is only a guest one so I’m not entirely sure how much we’ll see of her.
Megan Thee Stallion has been cast to appear although there’s not really any information on who she’ll be playing and whatnot (source)
Some behind the scenes stuff:
I don’t actually follow him but I’ve heard that Gabe Rodriguez who works on Good Girls often posts a bunch of behind the scenes stuff on his instagram. - I feel like it was him who posted a picture of a strip club or something which added fuel to the fire of Krystal being a stripper or something along those lines, ha.
Christina, Mae, and Retta were filming in a graveyard at one point (source) and Carlos Aviles also posted about the same set on his IG stories (source) so most likely Manny/Rio is involved in those scenes too.
There’s a printing press this season (source) and (I think) it was confirmed that Beth and co will be working with cards as part of their business (in 3x01 on IMDb there’s a listing for ‘young card customer’) and there was a photo floating around where you see the sign: “Paper Porcupine” in the background.
I’m 90% sure it was seen in slightly more HD versions of these photos which were actually some of the first we got of Manny/Rio on set, ha.
In some IG stories, Reno mentioned he couldn’t show his face because of spoilers which I’m guessing means either a) Stan is injured or b) his outfit gives something big away about his storyline.
Whenever the cast have posted pictures that show Manny onset (whether it be for table reads or filming) those posts are usually promptly deleted (like this one) meaning that the show is still trying to keep his fate ambiguous, most likely wanting to make his return a big surprise for fans who haven’t quite figured out he’s coming back.
Everleigh (Jane) and David (Marcus) are often photographed together and its probably cause they’re close in age and friends but there’s a high chance we’ll see Jane and Marcus become friends in season 3 (it also seems that Marcus will just be in this season a lot more than season 2 in general).
There’s this photo of Jackie, Christina, and Mae which could mean nothing but we know Rhea and Beth will have scenes together but, considering that photos was from September, I wonder if Annie (and Ruby) will meet Rhea pretty early on and share scenes with her, aha.

RIGHT THEN: First and foremost, (and we gleaned this from the trailers, obviously) MEMORY-LOSS PLOT. Which is Classic Carol™. She’s lost her memory like. Four times.

All of this to say: The premise of the movie, a kind of reverse origin story in which Carol figures out who she is, in a very literal but also figurative sense, was a great way to go, IMO.
Love all the moments from Carol’s past. I was admittedly surprised that we didn’t get more of that? But what was there was effective and given the amount of ground the movie had to cover, I think it was sufficient.
So after the dreams** we get the early morning fight with Yon-Rogg (who I was absolutely certain was Yon-Rogg, in spite of all the back and forth speculation and Marvel attempting to ‘hide’ his identity) and there’s exposition, obviously, and the set up of Carol’s struggle with Yon-Rogg’s forced Kree values clashing with Carol’s humanity but MORE importantly...
PHOTON BLASTS.
Love the way they render the energy pulsing just below the surface of her skin. Looks so cool.
Then: Chit Chat Time with The Great Intelligence!
I thought for sure it was gonna be Helen Cobb.
BOY WAS I MISTAKEN. (More on that in a sec.)
Favorite Visual #1: The slow pan of Starforce and the excellent shot of Carol’s helmet as they swim to shore on Torfa.
The whole rescue mission sequence/Carol’s kidnapping is...Truly a Highlight, in my opinion.
I mean!
She’s running around the enemy ship! Without her boots! Pummeling the Skrulls with unwieldy metal shackles! And growling in their faces!

Also, comic connection alert: Carol was kidnapped and experimented on by the Brood, which resulted in her stint as Binary.
So, back to the movie:

Okay what month of 1995 does Captain Marvel take place in? Because I was honestly offended that no one, and I mean NO ONE made a Buzz Lightyear joke re: Carol’s outfit and being a member of STARCOMMANDFORCE who checks her wrist communicator to try and make contact.
(Toy Story came out in November so if this takes place in the summer I GUESS I will let it slide.)
But otherwise dug all of the 90s references.
The little Gameboy sound when she calls Yon-Rogg!
(Also, train chase was great but I’m trying to save time though I do feel inclined to mention Kelly Sue DeConnick! Bringing some quality side eye! Very nice.)
Young Fury + Carol = excellent buddy cop combo, 14/10 would take an entire spinoff of their wacky 90s road trip adventures.
‘You look like someone’s disaffected niece’ might be favorite line in the film.
Let’s pause for a moment and appreciate the score, shall we? Pinar Toprak CRUSHES IT; the Captain Marvel theme feels like something out of The Rocketeer but with about 400% more sci-fi synth and I LOVE IT.
**Love the piece of score played when Carol wakes up. (Appropriately titled “Waking Up” I think, on the soundtrack.)
I also like the songs they picked for the movie? This is probably the complaint I’ve seen most often, that they feel obvious and easy, but. I dunno. I was never expecting something like Guardians of the Galaxy? So I wasn’t mad about it.
(In related news, I’ve been listening to “Connection” on repeat ever since the special look trailer dropped.)
Anyways.

(Oh, and how could I forget Maria bidding farewell to the neighbor, shutting the front door as Carol continues to glower???)

Favorite Visual #2 (Chronologically, but actually the one I like best in the movie) The Pysche-Magnitron Light Speed Engine explosion.

But yeah, that was the visual that sold me, in the earliest trailer. I wish I had some profound reason for that, but the truth is I just love blue-glow-y stuff.

MAR-VELL iS A WOMAN
LIKE THIS WHOLE TIME. EVERYONE WAS SO FOCUSED ON JUDE LAW. And then there was that blip, right before the release, when Annette Bening revealed she was the Great Intelligence, again after months of secrecy so we were all like, HA we know the TWIST.
BUT NO. NO WE DID NOT.
Well played, Marvel. Well played.
This was something I was thinking about before the film came out; I just kind of assumed, because of the lack of an apparent ‘Mar-Vell,’ that Carol would be the first and only Captain Marvel in the MCU. And she basically is, b/c we have no indication that Dr. Larson was moonlighting as a superhero, but regardless this is SO COOL. SUCH A GOOD TWIST.
(A quick Google search on how many ‘L’s are in Mar-Vell led to a serendipitous discovery: an article on the gender swap decision, and apparently it came very late in the game. Like. ‘Already looking at guys to play Mar-Vell’ late in the game. *insert themoreyouknow.gif here*)
Right, okay, back to Feelings:
When Carol’s like: You don’t know who I am! I don’t know who I am!
I was. Emotional.
(Brie Larson is perfectly cast and does a wonderful job.)
Maria’s pep talk? Also caused emotions.
And Maria got to come on the mission! I was pleasantly surprised, and really glad that the visit there wasn’t like. Just a pit stop, you know?
RIP Science Guy, we hardly knew ye.
Again, jumping ahead, but may I just say: It was truly an Experience, watching this movie with folks who had no idea what a ‘Flerken’ was.
Both my friends at the first screening I attended, and then like. Half the theater at the second one. XD
The whole row was like: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT when the tentacles came out.
So yeah, Talos and the 180 on the REAL villains: Nice. The enduring complaint leveled at the MCU is a lack of compelling villains. (I guess Talos technically doesn’t count as a villain by the end of this, but. We’re going with it.) And Carol’s commitment to helping the Skrull refugees lifts plot elements from my favorite portion of the DeConnick run, so. YEP. LOVED IT.
(I was also trying to determine if Talos’ daughter was perhaps meant to be like. a Tic expy. Did it say ‘Tic’ on the pinball machine? Or ‘Tig’? Or something else entirely?)
Loved the...mind prison? sequence. All of it. “Come as You Are,” the Great Intelligence rockin’ out in the jacket, Carol’s Big Damn Hero moment. Brilliant. Spectacular. Amazing.

And then the subsequent fight scene where Carol’s like. Simultaneously kicking butt but also enjoying all this newfound power/strength? A+++++

And then this big ol’ fight scene where Carol DESTROYS SPACESHIPS WITH HER BARE HANDS.
Favorite Visual #4: Carol going Binary in the red, blue, and yellow suit with the helmet FLYING THROUGH SPACE, LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT.
All of the visuals from this portion are so on point it’s like they’re pulled straight from the comics.
Favorite Visual #5: When Carol’s staring down Ronan and she like. Does that thing, where you hit your palm with your fist? (IDK the technical term there) And there’s this awesome energy burst and AGAIN, BLUE GLOW-Y THINGS. I love.
I’m pretty sure there’s an interview where Brie Larson talked about watching Indiana Jones? And wanting to be the female equivalent of that.
WELL, that’s the movie I immediately thought of when Carol blasted Yon-Rogg into a boulder, mid-goading.
(Y’know, like the scene in Raiders where Harrison Ford was too sick/tired to do the fight choreography, so he just. Shot the bad guy.)
ALSO, when she drags his sorry butt across the desert? I was IMMEDIATELY reminded of Kara dragging Astra into the DEO.

I love the black and green, admittedly, and the helmet looks SO GOOD for being something that should be ridiculous, but my go-to answer for superhero costume design is: add a leather jacket.
Favorite Visual #6: Carol in the suit and flight jacket, floating above Earth, ready to go save the day.
AND THEN SHE’S OFF.
Ooooh, ooooooooh, but we can’t forget the scene. The scene that I’m certain ticked off The Continuity Police. (You know the types.)
See, remember when Marvel was like, ‘Carol’s the first Avenger!’ and haters were like, ‘UH HELLO IT’S STEVE????!????’
And then Marvel was like, oh ho ho ho, we meant LITERALLY the ENTIRE INITIATIVE IS NAMED AFTER HER CALL SIGN AND SHIELD STARTS LOOKING FOR SUPERHEROES BECAUSE OF HER ERGO SHE IS THE FIRST die mad about it.
That was so very, very satisfying to see.
(Also I guess she’s a literal Captain in the air force? If the rank on the jet is legit. Pretty sure she’s a Major in the comics, though. But I assume this change is to help sell the ‘Captain Marvel’ name.)

I was fully prepared to leave the theater, uncertain of when we’d next see Carol.

What I love about BNHA 243
Just things as a fangirl I loved. I don't think I'm the type to be speculating/theorizing/predict stuff so if you're expecting intense more intellectual and mind-boggling things like that, better not read this post LOL. These are literally things that I loved or just found interesting.
Spoilers after the cut.
(I'll probably be doing a regular "Stuff that I liked" post once in a while. Depending on how a certain chapter affects me)
(Like last time on my BNHA 242 post, no photos and just plain unorganized text)
Izuku and Mama-chan (yeah I call Inko, Mama-chan for some reason since episode 1)
I MISSED THESE TWO! Their interactions are always warm and cuddly that I just want to hug them both.
THOSE TEARWATERFALLS WERE PROBABLY THE BEST PART OF THE CHAPTER?! IDK. But a day with the Midoriyas is just not enough but I'm just glad they got to see each other again.
Other than the usual! There are more things I loved about their talk!
We got a glimpse of how Izuku talks about his school experience.
I ship IzuOcha so I can't help but love that "Uraraka-san" was mentioned. Of course, Shinsou too, but just imagine if this is how Izuku talks about school, how many times has he talked about "Uraraka-san" ? Since the Sports festival was televised, it also means that Mama-chan knows both by face, so that's a good thing. (BUT correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't re-read the manga for a while, but so far, this is the only time I remember that there was a convo like this? I don't remember Izuku talking about his friends and experiences that much... Other than Kouta last time?)
SPEAKING OF KOUTA. ERI'S LETTER! THAT'S LIKE SUCH A CUTE PARALLEL!? And we fans have a lot of content featuring Kouta and Eri even if they haven't met in canon! OH GOSH THE TWO OF THEM MEETING JUST PROBABLY GOT CUTER NOW, WITH IZUKU BEING IN THE MIDDLE. OR THE POSSIBILITY OF PENPALS TOO? But IDK, I may just be jumping on the whole concept of them interacting, but it's just really cute and I can't help it.
Endeavor and the boys
I'm one of those BNHA fans who do not hate Endeavor. I actually find him interesting and well, how the next chapters tell his story.
It's great to see Izuku saying something about his aura before, which really means that something has changed.
I find Endeavor's constant "doting" (if I may call it that) on Shouto, funny. Of course, I agree that it will not erase the things he has done, but it's still a step to patching things up in the family. We are all waiting for a Todoroki family arc, and Izuku interning under Endeavor is a huge step to that direction.
That moment with Kacchan, Shouto, and Endeavor is just so golden too! I had to re-read that part several times because it was so cute.
EDIT: I FORGOT TO ADD THIS
It’s good to see the trio back in action. They had different paths (well Kacchan and Shouto were together though) last time, so I’m sure what’s coming is going to be great. I hope we get a glimpse of how internships with other 1-A studes are going too though >w<
Kacchan
Now, I found All Might saying that Kacchan and Endeavor are pretty alike, interesting. I think I've thought of that before while I was reading the manga, but it's not a thought I really concentrated on. Or because of their desire to be number one. But I don't think it was explicitly stated before, and Kacchan's reaction too!
Now I don't know how this will be for Kacchan, but I'm so excited for him! It's good to see him getting more "guidance" from the pro-heroes/adults. I mean, he can just handle himself so much. He has a cool quirk, he is creative enough to utilize it. He's a genius. He's strong. But Kacchan needs a mentor figure. Not Best Jeanist, not All Might. IDK if Endeavor will be (especially when the top hero is just so into his son LOL), but I want to see Kacchan's growth this time. THIS WHOLE THING IS JUST INTERESTING.
EDIT 2:
I’m still not sold to the idea that Best Jeanist is dead. Well YET. I may have missed details LOL. But those flashbacks of Best Jeanist in Kacchan’s mind though. Maybe the kid has to “find his purpose as a hero (as in his hero name)” and come back to Best Jeanist. So maybe Endeavor will play something big here for him? Thoughts. Thoughts. Thoughts.
I don't think I can comment much on Hawks. I also find his whole character interesting, but again I'm not the type to theorize that much on things. I feel like everytime I see him, I'll end up thinking too much. The same with the villains. I'll have to just read more.
For now, I'm enjoying the little bits of the kids in these chapters. I guess I missed them so much after that villain arc that I want to concentrate on them and just appreciate what will unfold for them.But I have to really do a re-read to refresh everything.

💔 Apryl Jones & Lil Fizz: The Re-Up💔
Gone for a minute, now we back with the jumpoff...no, I'm not talking about Apryl 👩🏾🦲☻
When my prediction of their break-up came to past, I wasn't as excited of my skill, as I was indifferent about the loss of this "relationshituation". I pulled cards the day it was announced as well, & I keep getting the tower card (for those that don't know, the tower is faulty foundations that come crashing down, or even self realizations, & a lot of the time is triggered by the powers that be), so I felt they were done-zo, like not for 'play play'. I also picked up on her deflecting the relationship & downplaying what really happened (like, I can't get the tower multiple times & NOT think there was more to the situation). My interest was dying down however, so I almost didn't do this whole project. Thanks to a tip from one of my followers, who spotted Apryl & Fizz together & speculated that she was with child, my 'nosey' nose started itching. Come to find out, it seems their 'paradise' blew up right in their faces, & it was in ways that I both did & didn't expect...
By the way, they still unfollow each other till this day 💅🏾

💔The state of Apryl & Fizz's relationship energetically❔
I feel like their break-up was triggered by some reckless or careless behavior out of boredom or lack of fun. I feel like one or both people started to become discontent & dissatisfied within the relationship. Undelivered promises may have caused some loneliness as well, which is pointing to a possible infidelity. Their foundation wasn't as strong as they made it seem to be, & if feels like Apryl was who created issues outside of the equation. I also have reason to believe whoever she 'slept with' (if she did) led to a pregnancy scare/unwanted pregnancy. I feel like there was confusion as to who fathered the child. I feel like there was a separation to were Apryl probably didn't tell this everything, or she did & it wasn't believed. It feels like there is a complete lack of clarity or illumination regarding this possible pregnancy scare. I also feel like if Apryl was pregnant, she may have had fertility issues or as she may have contemplated an abortion or went through with terminating the pregnancy. I feel like they argued a lot of about what happened & it caused a lot of stress. I don't think there in the best place & Apryl may be remorseful & apologetic, but I also feel like she is defensive of her actions. Fizz feels like he has a chip on his shoulder over this, & he firmly believes that she's repeated negative patterns out of boredom. I feel like Fizz has also found peace within his solitude, & I don't feel like he is looking to fix things with Apryl. I feel there was a reality check of the stagnation they were experiencing, but I think it put a damper on their actual friendship. I'm also getting a strong feeling that whoever it is that she is being accused of sleeping with feels like an old friend or an ex of hers. Until there is ability to assert control or to receive some sort of revelation, there is an energy of uncertain outcomes or playing the waiting game. Fizz may not have been as active regarding her 'pregnancy scare', because of the overwhelming possibility that it could have been someone else's. This could honestly be a case of unrequited love or challenges to let go of a heartbreaker I'm also getting the feeling that they tried a long distance stent and their relationship but it still wasn't enough to bring things into balance.
💔 Did they break up/why❓
I'm going to say yes, they did at that time it was announced that they did, & it was a case of possible infidelity. Apryl comes off as the 'party girl' type, so she definitely has doing some overindulging, but it led to some confusion in the relationship. Apryl was being recognized around the streets, if you dig what I'm saying. It feels like it was a friend, or ex of Apryl's, that she may have been rumored to have hooked up with (I'd say it was either a friend of Apryl's, Fizz's, or this can be a mutual friend of both) that seemed to be a 'one night', if you will. I feel there was a clinging on to this relationship after a while, & a shred of it does seek the attention that comes with being together, but the connection got a little routine & burdening. It did feel like someone was searching outside of the relationship, but it didn't seem intentional; it felt like it happened naturally. Apryl is wanting a happy family life, but she is looking for in all the wrong ways out of loneliness. I feel like her children with Omarion became a priority when custody was awarded to him. I feel that dealing with that became more important than her relationship with Fizz, so plans have changed. I also feel it was hard for Fizz to process if Apryl was dealing with the friend or not, & I think the whole situation of that changed the dynamic of their relationship as a whole. There was a realization that they weren't going to grow from this, as there was no real direction. I feel like it not only drove a wedge into their relationship but also the friends relationship with each of them.
💔SINGLE LIFE💔
💃🏾 How is Apryl Jones coping with the single life ❔
She seems like she is focus on her foundations & achievements namely her family/children. It's also a strong energy of her focusing on herself & not looking to deal with love or a relationship. This is the age of someone who is single, but I do feel like she hooks up from time to time; single, yet mingling. I certainly don't feel Apryl in the house every night, & she does deal with men (or it can be a specific water sign man) that aren't emotionally mature, are emotionally manipulative, & comes off as the non-committal types. I don't feel her wanting to commit right now & it may be from discouragement or fear of uncertainty. She has a blocked heart chakra so emotionally she may be unstable herself. I do feel her really being hung up on what she went through with Omarian, but I also feel she still wanting a happy ending with someone. She's not in the right emotional state right now, so anyone she gets involved with will be unorganized or unconventional. I feel like her relationship with Fizz was a way to lash out through what she was feeling. I see her being attached from her emotions & love as well, & she may be attracting non emotional men to 'tame her beasts'. I feel like this is her way to cope, but it doesn't stick for her. She doesn't open up about how she may be suffering, & she copes in silence as well. I feel like she doesn't want to have relationships/friendships because I feel they have caused her a lot of drama & stress in her life in general, as well as her love life. She's operating on inner conflict & pain, so she is in the mindset of not allowing friends/partners into her life for too long if they begin to cause her stress.
🕺🏾How is Lil Fizz coping with the single life❓
Fizz feels like he isn't making any decisions or movements to be committed to anyone, as I feel he is getting over the relationship with Apryl & I felt that to have been taken as a failure or an embarrassment to him. I feel he felt good about his relationship with her in the past, at first, & he felt it to be fulfilling his wishes. I think really committing is a challenge for him, so I don't see him being open to a relationship anytime soon. I do feel like he's not sitting at home either & he is also in much of an in-&-out player energy with women. They both seem to be lacking introspection, but with Fizz, he seems to be coming out of his emotions as opposed to them. I do feel like he is coping with the same methods as Apryl, but he seemed to be content with this function (or so he is making himself believe this). I feel he will open up intuitively & spiritually when he begins gaining clarity on why love hasn't worked out for him in the past, & a lot of the time he would either be mismatched or we he would attract very logical or cold women. For him, this may be a slow discovery/recovery from this, & it will be a matter of gaining illumination to patterns. I also feel Fizz really does want to find someone he has genuine feelings towards & someone he would be willing to commit to, just like Apryl, but he needs to understand why he attracts certain women. I also feel he gets wary of women who gets involved with him because he's 'Lil Fizz'. He wants security & stability with someone he cares for, but he has to start getting serious about the type of girl to be with. I feel like these types of women are familiar to him & he may have a hard time implementing these expectations right away.
💔 Do they ever plan on getting back together❔
Right now, their relationship is in a state of conflict regarding some gossip or misinformation about an affair, & it is coming up as an accident that they are both aware of, but I don't think the details or as extensive or as clear. Despite this knowledge putting a wedge into their relationship, the spark went out in their relationship rather quickly as well. Also I think Apryl was trying too hard to force a family with Fizz, which also cause discontentments further promoting the connection has run its course. I feel like in their relationship, Apryl was drawing a lot of negative attention to herself, & it also felt like she is the source of a lot of drama & conflict. I feel Fizz was committed to a fault, but I think he began to become discouraged about the security within their connection. I feel that day felt it was best to close the cycle out & separate, & it feels like deception may have resulted in an unwanted pregnancy, or scare (or at least that is what's speculated). Whether there was issues with the pregnancy fertility issues or mis carriage was experience fertility is coming up a lot; which coincides with Apryl being the permiscuous type. Moving forward, trust issues came up more often than not; even though there was loyalty to the friendship, it feels like an issue of letting go of the past. It feels like they would need to be open to healing the past, but I don't think they are in this space just yet. It may be hard to overlook Apryl's alleged actions, & I feel Fizz is fearful of being cheated on or rejected. This break-up feels final & it feels like there needs to be a mutual effort & desire to be together, without it coming from and unhealed place. The alleged cheating was kind of what called everything off & turn the desire off. Overall, I think the ship has sailed since the situation isn't healed all the way.

It's giving me the impression that her only claim to this man is financial stability, while he is only attracted to her for physical appearance. I feel her focus will also be recovering her reputation after the backlash of dating Fizz, which the attention from that was a possible reason why she dealt with him for that time, other than how she felt about him. I feel like she is wanting to build herself back from her relationship with Fizz, as she has had a strong fall from grace with all that has happened, & it may be difficult to recover her respect from the public eye. She has the energy of an underachiever & hasn't got into a place in her life (yet) where she can genuinely say she's financially stable or happy.
🕺🏾 Fizz feel like he is in a mentally entrapping situation that feels like it has to do with Moniece because I'm picking up mothering energy. It feels like he keeps her at bay (or tries to), but I feel like it may start to become difficult to keep her happy, let alone be able to cooperate or coparent with her. I feel this is a never-ending cycle with Mo for him, but I think he is really needing to focus on bringing positivity & optimism to this situation. I feel like he feels a lot of hostile energy, but the only reason for her hostility is due to the lack of forward movement & his lack of discipline/commitment to coparenting. I see the possibility of a scare, but I feel Apryl either had complications or had the pregnancy terminated (or it was just a scare). I feel like she & Fizz had already been broken up, & it is coming up that the scare was revealed after she was separated from Fizz. I also feel Apryl had an affair around the time they separated in a may be a source of reference within a timeline of conception. I get the feeling of reluctance on having to come clean about what was done in the dark because they seem to have been already in a tight space I also believe there was gossip of Apryl being unfaithful that seem to be getting around through mutual friends & that that was where the scare stemmed from, rather than the fact that they were seemingly separated at that time. I also feel like there was even some run-ins regarding these parties. I also feel Fizz was good friends with the man she allegedly had an affair with, or he may have been familiar with him by way of a close knit network. I feel like this hurt Apryl's reputation even worse in private, yet I don't feel there will be a baby to come out of this relationshituation.

I'm getting the energy that it was obstacles & challenges in regards to continuing to be able to see what one another is up to. Their break feels indefinitely, & it was a combative situation that was lacking balance, even now. I also feel they were needing to understand what they were doing in their relationship together, & things were dying down as a result. I'm also getting the sense that they were beginning to recognize the lack of stability & immaturity that seemed to cause disharmony between them, & I'm also seeing that monetary issues played a part in their break-up as well. It also feels them unfollowing each other was ego-driven as well. It seems to have been a lot of conflict that seemed to be bringing out toxicity in both of them; basically they need to separate physically & visually. I don't think they are on speaking terms either, since communication is coming up with what needs to be organized.

It feels like it was a situation where there was misinterpretation or disillusionment regarding what is & what isn't. It feels she was focused on asserting her truth, which led to a need to control the rumors of this. In her inner truth, that is coming up that there WAS an opportunity to cheat that she did not seize, with the same individual that I kept picking up on a regards to this allegation. With that said I'm going to have to say no, she didn't cheat on Fizz. I feel like this was a rumor that blew up & caused strife between her & Fizz but the exchange of this information is what needed to be organized. There already seemed to be some boundaries in place against the possibility to cheat, by way of her own rejection. I do feel like this has had a profound effect on their relationship, & I don't think Fizz was able to trust her the same after that.

1.1. Paranoia
Time, time, time, see what's become of me
While I looked around
For my possibilities
I was so hard to please

She dressed in a hurry, putting on an oversized green sweater with a turtleneck and black cargo pants, drying her hair with a towel as best she could and tying it over her head without worrying too much about it.
JFK Airport: The Regis Air Flight 753 Tragedy
Flight 753 departed Germany with 210 aboard including flight crew.
It landed safely before going dark during taxiing.
All passengers feared dead.
She could still hear the tragic broadcast from her bedroom. As she pulled on a pair of boots over her pants, she took a glance around and all the things she had left unfinished the night before. Her desk was full of unorganized papers, open books and used teacups, the clutter of magazines, and even more books and folders piled on the floor. She saw a couple of dirty t-shirts on the back of her chair, and the open door of her closet.
The scene would have been familiar any other moment, but right now was turned upside down by a set of other sensations, causing a sickly emptiness in her stomach, overcome with a horribly inescapable feeling of claustrophobia.
Sighing heavily, she rubbed her tired eyes, and stretched the muscles of her neck with a rotating motion, but she ended up wincing at the painful tension and considered doubling the dose of anti-flu she had been taking during the week. The fever had gone down earlier, maybe that would make her feel better.
"Sorry, I could not hear your question over all that mental noise, can you repeat it please?" He had finished his coffee a long time ago while she continued to read the papers he had passed on to her. Now and after fifteen long minutes, he could not help but be sarcastic due her silence. She did not look up at him, but her lips pressed into a thin line told him everything.
"Are you sure you want this job?" She examined the papers on the table once more, even after knowing he had already decided on the subject and she had nothing more to say.
"Do you doubt me? Look, I called you because you were the first person that came to my mind, you have experience in all this, and already passed all the tests, basically I'm inside."
"And you know I'm not in the system anymore."
She was retired.
She lifted the backpack she discarded on the floor the day before, shaking the dust off of it and then emptied it on top of her mattress. Books fell first, along with the rest; a national geographic magazine, a sketchbook, the remains of an empty pack of snickers, and a rectangular black case.
Opening the case, she looked within, considering again whether it would be needed, or if her paranoia was forcing her to take hasty action.
In another time, in another life, she wouldn't have thought twice about it. But after years of looking for a more peaceful life, she still had the habit, not because of the way of life in which she had been raised, but because she knew it was a necessary evil.
She holstered the small handgun at her waist, hiding it under her sweater, and ultimately wrapping herself in a long jacket, she did so while listening to the reporter's voice from the television, talking about the press conference that the CDC and airport authorities would give in an hour, while the news anchors was speculating about the causes of such a big tragedy might be. A terrorist attack? Accidental decompression of the cabin? Or a lethal virus that threatened to expand from the moment they opened the escape hatch?
The silence of her apartment was interrupted by the occasional noise of a police siren moving away in the distance, or her neighbors continuous chatting and arguing. Someone flushed a toilet on the top floor and there was a gurgling of the pipes.
She thought she might have heard something, a vibration, a buzzing, or even a whisper, but dismissed it with a shake of her head. Her mind, sharp and imaginative, questioned the recent events. This doubt was likely caused by a new wave of fever, or perhaps she was still rattled by the nightmare that had disturbed her sleep only an hour before. Had Nikolay acted correctly by alerting her of the danger? Or was it an exaggeration produced by the collective confusion of the moment?
The street where she resided in Brighton Beach was deserted at that time of night. She secured the lock on her front door with two keys; the neighborhood was quiet, but even so her experience had taught her well one should never trust the appearances of a place.
She lived on the fifth floor, with a fire ladder that zigzagged down to a common patio and a parking lot, surrounded by a large black fence. The building adjoined a three-story grocery store, and both structures were separated by only ten meters from each other. The darkness of the alley smiled at her from below.
Covering her nose and mouth with her scarf, she avoided the smell of contamination. Without making noise, she crossed the outer corridor in great strides and went down the stairs with the same impetus with which she had left her apartment.
Crossing the parking lot with caution so no one could see her was easy at that time of the night, she did not like to attract attention, but she suspected that most residents would not dare to take their eyes off their TV screens, watching in the midst of their morbidity the latest events of the tragedy of the Regis Air.

She stopped behind a van, almost reaching the huge black gate that someone careless had left half-open. Holding her breath, she waited for the strange buzz to return once more. Skipping down the stairs, she thought it was only the electric generator near the garbage containers, but when a strange sensation overcame her and an imperceptible static vibration hit the hair on the back of her neck, she stopped.
When the sound did not return, and she resumed her march, slower this time, crossing the gate and facing the empty street.
She breathed slowly behind her thick scarf, appreciating the loneliness of the surrounding street. Even after walking several blocks to a main avenue, a persistent tingling plagued the base of her neck. Was she being paranoid?
She stopped once more before crossing the next street. The fog blocking her view. Glancing behind her only confused her doubts; there was nothing there.
The nearest subway station was only a few blocks away, and she hurried on. The shape of the street lights were indistinguishable against the thick, white polluted air; their light was nothing more than orbs. She usually enjoyed walking at night, but the last events left no room for such trivialities.
She glanced behind her one more time, without stopping, as she turned a corner. She tensed and frowned, her nostrils flaring at the sight of… it.
Finally.
There it was.
She caught only a glimpse of it, but she quickened her pace. Not bothering to turn around a third time.
Upon arriving at the Brighton Beach subway station, she decided to take the elevator to the platform, instead of the electric stairs. The station was above the avenue, and from her position at ground level it seemed to be lost in the cloud of pollution.
If that presence was following her to ask her about the weather, it would be better if they did so quickly. When the metal doors closed behind her, she leaned against them from exhaustion, her heart thudding inside her chest. She tried to catch her breath while covering her face with both trembling hands. As the wave of anxiety recede, she quickly looked for her cell phone.
You know more than anyone else, don't doubt that I'll call on you if something happens.
It was only when she pulled it from her pocket that she realized there was no signal at all.
What… when…?
The elevator rose with a metallic and creaking noise. The doors opened and she blinked in consternation at the absolute darkness before her.
A sudden shiver shot up her spine, ruffling the hairs on her nape and replacing every thought in her head with a gripping feeling.
She was more aware than ever of the hanging weight pressing on the right side of her ribs, under her sweater. Wringing her hands inside her jacket, she stepped out of the elevator without waiting for her eyes to adjust to the lack of light.
Almost immediately the elevator closed its doors and went down again, as if someone was calling for it.
Even at that time of night the avenue and also the platform used to show signs of activity, but in those moments everything seemed suspended in time. She could feel the weight of an almost palpable darkness, and when she tried to expand her senses against it, an alien force fought against her own.
"You're never going to tell me why you retired?" His mouth was full of cookies and she fought the impulse to giggle. Organizing all papers in the folder again, she stared at him over the small table.
"Because sometimes knowledge is a terrible thing, Kolya"
Sometimes you do not want to know what is hiding in the dark. It's better to look through it, and maybe it will not look back at you.
She wrapped her fingers around the handle of her handgun, lingering for a few moments as she tried to squint beyond the thick air, her muscles tensing. She advanced a few meters until she was within walking distance of the train tracks, taking out the gun as she turned towards the elevator.
The silence that followed to the noise told her that it was already there, but her eyes could not pierce the darkness in any way.
The instinct to run was strong, but the anger was stronger. She uncovered her face from the scarf while she pointed the weapon towards the darkness, and with a loud grunt she advanced against it, despite the overwhelming impulse to run, the fear. She called for it, with all the power of her mind, through the disturbance it has thrown over her. Ignoring it was not an option anymore, and she has had enough.
"What the hell do you want, you piece of shit?!"
The train seemed to come out of nowhere and shook the entire platform with its weight. She jumped from the impression as if she had received an electric shock, her body trembling with adrenaline and walking away as fast as she could when receiving the blow of air due to the speed of the machine.
The sudden change of scenery shook her, and she analyzed the situation quickly. The lights illuminated the platform around her, and there were people sitting waiting for the train just a few meters away, observing her weird behaviour with displeasure.
Her head told her that all that had been there, she knew it.
But the reason and logic had to fight against the overwhelming emotions that flooded her first.
The heat and rage that had flooded her body had been replaced by a cold sweat. She breathed deeply, in and out, over and over again until the visual static disappeared and her heart rate returned to normal.
The buzzing in her head reamined, like an invasive vibration she now knew with certainty, was the product of something more than just cautious paranoia. The second nature of her own brain warning her that there was something still lurking around.
She stepped through the train doors when they opened, pushing out of her way the few people who stepped out, while giving her dirty looks. She did not look at them, they were just tired and disinterested strangers, who cared nothing but their own problems.
The wagon was almost empty, and she found a seat quickly, while a young couple near the doors and an old man in front of her shot her strange glances. She needed to take one last look at the platform and the strange nocturnal watcher, wishing for it to know that she would not lower her guard even for a moment.
The buzzing inside her head dissipated as the train doors closed and began to slide down the rails.
She sighed slowly, processing the revelation of what just has happened. Distracting herself with her cell phone, she fought to remain calm, trying her hardest to control her shaking hands. The signal had returned, but there were no messages or missed calls.
"Maybe it's none of my business, but your nose is bleeding."
She knew it, but before she could wipe it with the back of her hand, the old man with the cane offered her a handkerchief. She accepted the gesture unceremoniously, thanking only with a nod, but not taking her eyes away from the window and the darkness that laid beyond.
Her body's reactions was betraying her, it has been just a sign of her own weakness. Her pale reflection in the window stared back, and it was then that she noticed that the old man who had offered her help was still watching her through the corridor.
Turning around, she made a gesture to return the handkerchief, folding it to hide insulting blood stain that she had left in it, but the man raised a gloved hand with deformed knuckles, stopping her attempts to stand. "Keep it, you need it more than me right now."
"Thank you." Her words resonated with shyness, as always, trying not to meet the man's eyes by giving him an awkward smile. He quickly scanned her face with narrowing eyes, stopping at her right cheekbone.
Startled by his scrutiny, she turned to the window again, hiding that part of her face and tensing her once more, cursing herself.
"Someone following you?"
She frowned, and for a moment observed the handkerchief stained red between her fingers. It was made with cotton and has two letters "A.S." embroidered in one of the corners. She felt shame for having used and stained something like that, but the man seen not to care. Her nose had stopped bleeding, but her head pounded and the fever had returned. The man's question had taken her by surprise, and when she glanced back at him, the expression he offered, under thick white brows and a black-brimmed hat, was not one of concern, but one of suspicion.
"Yes." She darted her eyes away, hating feeling scrutinized. She keep her eyes on the window, watching the night, and the dim lights of the city.
"And can you tell what was following you?" The man spoke in a raspy, low voice, occasionally glancing at the couple a few seats away from them. Even as frustration weighed down on her shoulders like the damn sword of damocles, the urgency of his voice baffled her, and she turned to him, overcoming her apprehension.
But the old man was no longer looking at her, instead he was staring out of her window. His eyes darted again and again towards the other passengers, as if not wishing to be heard. For a moment she had the unnerving sensation that he actually understood something that she has had trouble understanding for years.
That not all things could be seen by the naked eye.
She shook her head, clearing her mind and her suspicions. The old man was just curious, and she looked unwell. He was just concerned, and she just smiled while questioning whether the man's paranoia might match her own.
"My own shadow." She laughed the answer at the man, who frowned at the strangeness of her response, but she ignored his disappointment, turning to the window to stay there what was left of the trip. He glanced at her one last time, understanding her reserved attitude, before turning his attention to his own window, sinking into absolute silence.
