It wasn't that Bruno wasn't confident in himself when it came to his bedroom escapades—Far from it as he knew his exact standing with his lover and that sparked all the confidence he needed. But certain acts, certain moods and fantasies just didn't feel right for Bruno.

But those kinds of dirty fucking things felt perfect for Hernando.

"Oje, Señor Hernando.." You begged in a pitifully suggestive voice, on your heads and knees on the ground before the shirtless Bruno. "I cannot pay you for fixing the spackle on my families barn, I-I simply have nothing to give you.."

It’s so cool, me and the asker have been working on it <333 instead of gifts, they specialize in certain tech and stuff 🗿

Basically Pedro is there. And it’s Antonio’s presentation at the college (he’s still 5, they’re all prodigies and presented at 5, except Mirabel who presented a little later cause she hadn’t decided her science concentration yet 😭😭). Anyway, Pedro sacrifices himself to save Señora Guzmán and boom died.

Alma hid the project he was gonna show the family that he was working on for a long time: Baymax. Basically Mirabel and the grandkids find him and he’s chill, helping them grieve and stuff. The pressure for this au is Alma taking Pedro’s saying “someone has to help” as the family needed to use their tech and intelligence around the city to help other people. And never expand on their tech. Always the same thing.

Anyway, here’s their sciences (all the Madrigals, including the husbands + Alma and Oedro are like. Literal prodigies, mostly in science, but other stuff 🤧):

Here’s their tech and stuff:

Isabela, maybe something similar to Honey Lemon, but she uses the chemicals of different plants that has different (non lethal) effects? She throws pollen pods like honey lemon does and whatever plants she makes all disappear after a certain amount of time or something, oh and her vines she uses to swing ofc, they're very durable. CARBON FIBER VINES ❗❗

Dolores, maybe she uses soundwaves and sounds in general, and uses something similar to a giant megaphone and speaks; does a lot of knockback.

Luisa, I feel like she would have attachable enhancements, kinda like gauntlets and boots that allow her to further utilize her strength and stamina etc etc

Camilo, maybe his tech tricks the mind, lots of illusions and stuff, and he definitely has a camouflage suit, so he's good for stealth and sneaking up on enemies. He might also go beyond from just people, might even have animals and objects too since its really illusion (mayhaps an upgrade later down the line in their endeavor) Ohhh, a upgrade would be really good and show how he (and the others) develop his tech further

Mirabel’s tech works with Baymax, so it's pretty similar to Hiro's, though I think she would be a jack of all trades as well. Also mentioned in what i wrote that she has a bag of tech goodies (inspired by her good ol bag in canon and also that one ask i saw about her magic bag)

Antonio, like I said before, uses robot animals. He builds them and sends then out, controlling them maybe via a headset similar to the microbots, and the animals have cameras so he can see what they see. I think maybe when he builds P.A.R.C.E (the giant robot jaguar; a.k.a Precision Automated Robotic Companion Entity) the other grandkids will let him go out to battle. Also lets him be at the final battle.

Julieta y la bruja

Aya la bruja shows Julieta Madrigal a Psilocybe columbiana and a limón mandarino to make lemon tek with.

“I think mamá gave Tío Bruno mushroom tea. She learned it from Aya la bruja when she was younger. In very small doses, it can ease melancholy.”

Aya la bruja started out as just a name. I had no intention of developing her. When I wrote that for Chapter 6 of "Viñetas," this was the kind of image I had in mind. Julieta's gift is one of the most captivating ones for me because of its resemblance with the magical element in the Mexican novel Like Water for Chocolate. Whereas Tita's emotions affect her cooking and the people that eat her food, Julieta heals physical injuries and presumably illnesses with her food. I wondered how Julieta developed her gift. Since Alma does not have her own gift and is busy running the Encanto, did anyone teach Julieta how to attend to people's health?

I recalled the Clarissa Pinkola Estés' interpretation of Vasilisa the Wise in Women Who Run with the Wolves: that in the title character's stay with the witch Baba Yaga, she learned the ways of the wizened ones from the crone. I thought perhaps there was a witch in the Encanto that could guide Julieta. Much like the Cut-Wife and Vanessa Ives in Penny Dreadful:

It didn't take me long to come up with the name. Aya comes from ayahuasca because I was looking into psychoactive substances for depression at the time. (For context: In "Viñetas," Bruno suffers from depression, insomnia, and migraines after the events of the movie.) But as I continued writing, the character of Aya la bruja would change before I got to describe her appearance. Look out for the next entry, @encanto-extended-edition 🖤

I haven't really... clarified what this blog is, huh

Hi folks, I'm Mad. I'm mostly just here to vibe with whatever fandom is on my mind at any given moment. My main ones are Rise of the Guardians, Big Hero 6/the series, and Tales of Arcadia, but I go in for Encanto, Ducktales (2017), Tangled/the series, Elemental, and crossovers like The Big 4/ROTBTD and the Futuristic Four. I play video games such as Skyrim and Baldur's Gate 3. Casually, for enjoyment. I will yeet my thoughts at you and I cannot guarantee I will do more than that. Sometimes there will be art maybe.

I shalst enclose a list of OCs.

Mahina, Rise of the Guardians. Clever, calm most of the time but prone to anxiety, sharp-minded, and reserved. Very genuine sort. She's into Jack Frost, like most things on Tumblr are.

McKenzie Jamesson, Big Hero 6. Quick-witted, fascinated by brains, caring, protective. All she really wants is to give and tell her loved ones all the amazing things they deserve. And also to use force fields to make them all safer. She's a cinammon roll. And a big ol Hiro Hamada simp.

Cara Okhrana, Tales of Arcadia, noblewoman of Akiridion-5 and sworn protector of Krel Tarron. She grew up on earth from age 6 on, and has self-esteem issues due to only vaguely recalling the way that Akiridions consider honor- and thinking other Akiridions, if they could ever find her, would believe she'd failed her oath to House Tarron. She's fierce, outgoing, tactical, sassy and sarcastic, but only really emotionally opens to a handful of close, trusted people. Cara Williams is her human disguise name. Also she's into Krel, but no way in heck is she bold enough to tell him. She sees the way he acts about romance. She's not that stupid.

Brook Ripple Jr., Elemental, named after her aunt (Wade's mother, I believe). Wade's cousin, as introverted as water gets. Emotional as any of her family, though in more of a stressed depressed lemon zest way. And dating fire runs in the family.

Madeleine "Mad" Corr, Ducktales. Eldest of ten, chaotic, a bit sketchy- imagine Louie but more emotionally genuine, and instead of a good liar she can pick locks, and she genuinely loves the thrill of stealing stuff over the payoff. She talks Louie out of his truly terrible ideas, only to offer more practical alternatives.

Betania Madrigal, Encanto. My brain said, "Hey, they never told us if Bruno was ever married in the past" and so I came up with idea that he was, his wife left the Encanto 17 years prior to the movie for her own protection, and whoops she was pregnant and now he's got a long lost daughter. She's shy and uncertain but sweet and smart and oh gosh that's such a Y/N description... anyway. Stuttery clumsy baby who just wants to get to know her long-lost dad and figure out how to control her new ability to go into/change people's dreams.

Aelvy, Tangled the Series. Once a dryad, she gave up her tree and longevity to experience the full range of human emotion.

Long story short, for the most part they're just normal people in weird universes who just wanna be loved.

Encanto World Building Headcanons

Maybe not the most exciting headcanon list, but I’m trying to nail down how the Encanto functions as a society, so this is what I’m doing rn!

I’ve said it before, but the Encanto probably can’t be completely self sufficient, despite what the creators said. I suspect they trade for raw materials such as glass, or stone for bricks; and for things like books or records. In return, somebody else has pointed out how rare wine would have been in Colombia, so presuming they could find a safe way to trade it, that’s probably their main export.

They probably have one of those three or four room schools. I’ve touched on this in my Bruno x Oc, but my going theory is that when the triplets are in school, each class is split up by age groups, then when the village gets too big for that to be practical, they do combo classes, 1st & 2nd grade in one class, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th, then maybe even 7th & 8th. After that, things like math and science get advanced enough that kids need to learn from the one guy in the village with a hyper fixation in astronomy or something, plus teenagers would have apprenticeships to worry about. So from 14 onward, kids get assigned homework and have the option to go to the village expert on the subject if they need help. Whether or not they do that homework is largely up to them and their parents/professional mentors.

Probably don’t have cows, cows take up a lot of land and they’re in a small valley.

They grow cotton and wool, grapes for the wine, corn for corn flour, coffee, avocados and lemons. Then they cultivate fruit trees in the surrounding rain forests.

Another thing from my Bruno x Oc, before Pepa became the primary irrigation source for the farmer’s, they probably made irrigation canals and maybe a few emergency reservoirs.

It just makes sense to me that Mirabel is the next “candle holder”, but for the sake of the disability metaphor, I doubt she figures that out until she’s already overcome her feelings of inadequacy and stepped up as a village leader.

Speaking of the village leadership. For years Alma is the de facto leader, but as the village grows this becomes more and more stressful for her. After the movie, she probably starts calling for official elections and stuff. The village never stops looking to the Madrigals for leadership, but by the time Mirabel is an adult, they have a mayor, a treasurer, and a town council. Not to mention monthly town halls.

The village starts out as a straight barter system, with minimal use of money. As discussed in that video I shared, the community takes care of itself. Then as it grows, money is used for things that aren’t essential. They have a sorta Universal Basic Income, in that, as long as your family is contributing to the village, the village is contributing to you.

The miracle is technically love magic, we see that it is harmed by relationship strife and powered by hugs. So, the “candle holder” must be chosen on the basis of who in this next generation is the best at love, so to speak. Mirabel gets it for her communication skills, compassion, and patience.

This one is pure fun, no basis and only relevant for my fics. Seers in the Madrigal family all get the glowy eye thing, but the color depends on what they can see So Bruno, who sees the future, gets green glowy eyes, but if there is a seer that sees the past, their eyes would be magenta, the opposite of green.

Sick Day (Bruno and Elena dabble)

In honor of my dear fellow Brunoholic, @prophetic-hijinks, _who is currently going through Covid, I thought she could use a little cheering up with this idea I came up with today. Speedy recovery, hon!

(A tad NSFW near the end, but nothing past a PG rating, honestly. Enjoy!)

Elena HATED being sick! It was right up there with hecklers at her performances and stuck-up women who looked down on her for being a lounge singer. She first noticed she was coming down with something when she was sent home during rehearsal for warbling off key. Not only did she have a frog in her throat; she had the whole stinking pond!

It just kept going downhill from there. Her head got stuffed up, her nose ran like a faucet, every inch of her ached, and she couldn't go five minutes without coughing. She groaned as she took another tentative sip of her lemon and cayenne tea (a remedy given to her by one of the nuns who raised her). The herbal elixir seemed to clear her sinuses and soothe her throat for a few moments at a time, but the relief was always short-lived.

Pulling the blankets closer to her body, she braced herself for another coughing fit. She always found it ironic that someone running a fever could still have chills. While she had no appetite, she would've given anything for a hot bowl of chicken soup. Or a hot toddy, whatever did the trick. Unfortunately, she was so fatigued that anytime she got up to go into the kitchen, she'd get dizzy and slump back down into bed.

"That settles it," she grumbled, running her well-used tissue under her nose. "I'm dying..."

Just then, a knock was heard at the front door.

"Whaa..." slurred Elena, struggling to get herself out of bed and see who was visiting her. It was a miracle she didn't topple down the stairs with how dizzy she felt. Did Hugo stop by to check on her? Maybe it was Tito looking for a place to hide while the cops were looking for him? Or some door-to-door salesman with an overly expensive vacuum that he would insist a "lovely lady" like herself desperately needed. (If it were a salesman, she had a nose full of snot waiting to fire).

"Who is it?" she wearily croaked, doing her best to look through the peephole.

"E-Elena?" said a familiar voice on the other side. "It's me, Bruno. Did I come at a bad time?"

Elena gasped. "Bruno?!? W-what are you *cough* doing here?"

Without fully unlocking the door, Elena opened it just enough to see none other than Bruno Madrigal standing sheepishly outside the door. He wore one of his button-down green shirts decorated with hourglasses, brown slacks with sandals, and his hair pulled back in a ponytail (which she always loved). He was holding a colorful bouquet of flowers and had a brown knapsack slung across his chest.

Bruno seemed a bit surprised by Elena's question. "I, uh...weren't we supposed to meet this weekend?"

Elena knew they had made plans weeks ago to spend the weekend together in the city. Surely, it wasn't that time already? She went to look at her calendar sitting next to her coatrack. She groaned, running her hands through her hair. It was that time already! How could she have let that slip her mind?

""Bruno," she moaned as she went back to the door, still keeping it mostly locked. "Bruno, I'm so so sorry, but I can't have any visitors right now."

Fortunately, Bruno didn't look disappointed, but highly concerned. "Oh Elena! Mi Elena perfecta, what's wrong?"

"I...I...ACHOO!" was all she could utter. Elena slammed the door and block the sneeze, which immediately sent her into a coughing fit. She sank to her knees and tried to compose herself enough to speak to Bruno again. She was so exhausted she couldn't find the strength to get back to her feet.

Just then, the mail slot popped open and she bent down to see Bruno's beautiful hazel eyes looking back at her, filled with loved and compassion.

"Uh...a little under the weather?" he chuckled.

"That's putting it lightly," she sneered. "Bruno, sweetie, you should just head back home. I don't want you wasting your weekend with a plague victim."

"Actually, I think I have something that might help," said Bruno, then closed the small metal door.

Elena shook her head. "Bruno, what I need right now is a coffin because I'm pretty sure I'm on death's door." Normally, Elena wasn't always so morbid with her humor, but being sick brought the worst out in her.

The mail slot opened up again and this time, a small arepa was sticking out of it. "Here," said Bruno. "Take this! It'll do the trick."

If Elena hadn't already been breathing through her mouth, her jaw would've dropped. "Bruno, I'm really not that hungry..."

"Just eat it!" Bruno insisted. "Trust me on this, please!"

Elena was too tired to argue, so she weakly accepted the offering. She took a bite out of the doughy snack, fighting the pain in her throat as she swallowed. She was really hoping she wouldn't add vomiting to the list of symptoms.

And then, something extraordinary happened. She...started feeling better. First, her throat was no longer scratchy or sore. Her body aches faded into nothing. Not only did her nose stop running, but her sinus cavity completely cleared! She felt life seeping back into her system as each sickly symptom vanished. Before she knew it, she felt perfectly normal, as if she hadn't spent the last 24-hours planning her funeral!

But how was this possible? She looked down at the arepa Bruno had given her. It tasted fine, even if it was a bit stale. Nothing seemed different about it, yet taking one bite seemed to reinvigorate her entirely.

"Elena? Did it work?" Bruno called. "Did you eat the arepa?"

Scrambling to her feet, Elena leapt up and quickly unhooked the locks. She flung open the door to see a startled-then-pleased Bruno.

"Bruno!" she exclaimed, pointing to the food. "H-how!?!"

Bruno chuckled, letting himself in. "You can thank Julieta for that."

"But how did you know I was sick?"

"I didn't. Juli always packs me a few of those before I come to the city. She makes sure there's enough for both of us in case we need them."

Bruno then held out the exotic bouquet to Elena who accepted them graciously. "Isabela is responsible for these. She suggested I give you a cactus, but there was no way I was carrying one of those on the bus."

Elena felt her eyes water and this time, it wasn't from being sick. She threw her arms around Bruno's neck, planting to large kisses on his cheek. "If you aren't just what the doctor ordered!"

Bruno just giggled and returned the hug.

Elena then saw herself in the mirror hanging in the foyer. While she was now perfectly healthy, her hair looked like a rat's nest and her dressing gown and robe were as wrinkled as an old lady.

"Ugh, look at me," she said, fussing with herself. "I look like what the cat dragged in and the dog chewed up! If you give me about twenty minutes, I'll get cleaned up and then we can go get some lunch. My treat, of course. Be right back!"

Just as she was about to head upstairs, Bruno gently snatched her wrist, pulling her back. "Now now, hold on!" he said coyly, "I, uh, don't think you're fully healed."

"I-I'm not?"

"Oh no. There's a good chance those nasty germs are still lurking inside you somewhere." Before Elena could object, Bruno scooped her up into his arms and waggled his eyebrows at her mischievously. "I think...we need to get you right to bed."

Elena giggled and cocked an eyebrow. "Well, now that you mention it..." She gave a small fake cough, then fondled with Bruno's shirt collar. "You know, I have some ointment upstairs to rub on my chest. Helps with the coughs. Mind giving me a hand with that...doctor?"

She grinned as Bruno shuddered happily. "Absolutely." He then leaned in and kissed her lips softly.

"Don't worry, mi vida," he said softly. "I'll take care of you."

"You always do..." Elena sighed dreamily and rested her head on his shoulder as he carried her to the bedroom.

... I wanna reader Reader/Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) fics before sleeping but I'm left with nothing but the fics with... undesirable tags.

Lemons. Smut. Whatever ya call em.

I wanna read about a cannibalistic Radio Demon being sweet with y/n before sleeping but I read all the ones without a certain, sour fruit. I want cuteness and I'm too deep in my writer's block to make my own.

I mean, I might skim through the 10+ chapter fics with Lemon tags and just skip that? But it feels like I'm missing stuff. And it feels like too much of the story revolves around that one part sometimes.

i've been mentally or out-loud singing the intro song from encanto just, every day multiple times a day for the past couple months. not even "we don't talk about bruno," but "the family madrigal," which, why is THAT such an ear worm

I was thinking to myself the other day, usually when I do that, it's because of a trigger word (not as in trauma. possibly as in a CIA representative though). for example, if i'm talking to myself and say "you know," i start singing/humming Sweet Bod from lemon demon ("you know, you know, you know, it isn't sexual" etc) but I couldn't imagine what the hell kind of word I've been doing that for

i finally realized.

it's the word "ok."

as in, when maribel goes "ok ok ok ok" before the grandkid roundup

Encanto Bruno Madrigal 🍋 Headcanons

Warning: Sexual content involving Bruno Madrigal from Disney’s Encanto

- Praise. Bruno has never been very confident in himself. His entire life has been built up on the foundation of not being good enough, and walking on eggshells to ensure that whoever he told about a vision took the news well. It’s no suprise that he needs more reassurence, esspecially after living in the walls for a decade. Any form of compliment or praise sends him on a high. It could be anything from his appearence to his performance, anything nice you say to Bruno, in or out of the bedroom makes him absolutely melt.

“Oh, Bruno, that feels perfect, you’re doing amazing.”

“You look so lovely from thins angle, Bruno.”

- Massages. Bruno is not as young as he used to be, well into his early fifties, so his mobility isn’t perfect, especially not after having lived in the cramped room behind the kitchen, and navigating the space between the walls all this time. Because of this, Bruno has developed arthritis in his joints, particularly in his back, neck, and knees. To easy this, you always give him legnthy deep tissue massages with warm oils. Your private times with Bruno were meant to be relaxing and rejuvinating, a time where you both could recouporate from the day, and you never missed an oppertunity to spoil him.

“Ah, (Y/N), that feels great. My shoulders have been so sore.”

“Of course, Mi Amour. I noticed you’ve been slouching more than usual, maybe that’s why?”

- Slow and Gentle. Bruno is ovbiously a very timid man, and he’s no different in bed. He’s always so high strung, trying to ensure that nothing he does brings him anymore bad luck than he already has, so he’s always very cautious when he is intimate with you. You always reassure him that nothing he could do in this moment could change the amount of passion you held for him, and in the back of his mind, he knew that, but it always made him feel more at heast when he was allowed to take his time. No matter what the current task was, whether it be pleasuring you orally, massaging your private bits, or penetrative sex, Bruno is going nowhere fast, and that sits just fine with you.

“Bella, just lay back and let me care for you.”

- Mutual. Anyhting you do to Bruno, he is doing back, and most of the time, he did it first. With oral pleassure, he always puts you first, and the massages he recieves always begin with him giving you a long, tender footrub. Bruno also loves mutual masterbation. - Love. Bruno, even before having met you, has never liked the idea of sex without feeling. He perfers to call your intimacy ‘love’, rather than anything else. He feels it’s more romantic, and it reminds him that you both how madly in love you are. He also doesn’t care for swearing, but he will in the heat of the moment. Rarely does he refer to sex as ‘fucking’, but when he does, it’s few and far between. Other than ‘love’ or ‘sex’, ‘fuck’ is the only other word he uses.
