Manifestation - The Domino Analogy (Bridge of Incidents, Messing with the Middle)

Hello everyone! This is another short post to cover a simple topic under the umbrella term manifestation to hopefully shed some light on the topic.

So apparently I'm all about the analogies lately! I do find them to be useful to help keep my mind on track so I am sharing with you another analogy that came to me once: The Domino Analogy

Just a quick summary. The bridge of incidents (BOI) = everything that happens between you having a desire, and you seeing the fulfillment of it in the 3D. These are events, circumstances, inspired thoughts and inspired actions (for you and for whoever else is a part of your bridge of incidents to bring you the fulfillment of your desire).

Now onto the analogy. So first of all I hope you are all familiar with domino bricks? You lay them in a row, knock over the first one, which knocks over the second one and so on until all domino bricks have fallen over. Now there are some amazing people in the world who have created some absolutely amazing art using domino bricks, so when the final brick has fallen, a beautiful image appears.

This is "A Starry Night" created with Dominos. Now I want you to imagine the fulfillment of your desire to be like this image, after the domino's have fallen. The dominos falling is your bridge of incidents.

Now the beautiful thing about manifestation is that all you have to do is focus on the end result, the completed image, and the Universe (or however you prefer to view it), sets the dominos in place. Once the bridge of incidents has begun, it all happens and unfolds rapidly for you, without you needing to lift a finger. Just keep the end in mind.

Now, imagine that you had to place all of these dominos yourself, how long it would take you, the mistakes you might make on the way, you might even have to start over because you tried to rush things etc. This is similar to 'messing with the middle', there is absolutely no need for you to try and force and create something in the 3D (your current reality), for the Universe is orchestrating it all for you.

And how wonderful isn't that to know? That you can just relax and focus on the end, and the Universe (or another higher power) is doing all the work to put together all these little pieces for you to create the final outcome?

I know that it is sometimes tempting to want to have control over the bridge of incidents, because quite frankly, sometimes the bridge of incidents is uncomfortable, unnerving, or quite frankly scary, often because we cannot see the work that goes on in the background. But if you can trust in this process, trust that the Universe is putting all these things in place and keep your focus on the end. I can assure you it will all fall, quite literally, into place, FOR you. I hope that this analogy was helpful. If you like analogies my last post was a similar analogy, but about trains instead!

The crew of a massive container ship that crashed into the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore early Tuesday warned of power issues before the collision, which caused the bridge to collapse into the frigid Patapsco River, officials said.

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said the warning from the ship’s crew likely saved lives.

“We’re thankful that between the mayday and the collapse, that we had officials who were able to begin to stop the flow of traffic so more cars were not on the bridge,” Moore said. He called those officials heroes.

Moore noted that the bridge was up to code at the time of the collapse. He said the collapse was a “shocking and heartbreaking” event for the people of Maryland who have used the bridge for 47 years.

Just finished replaying bridge to turnabout… thinking abt how edgeworth sees himself in pearl…

Him being the most understanding of pearl in this situation because he went through the same thing,,

Thinking about the parallels between them,,,

And the parallel between him and Maya not wanting anything to do with their parents’ careers, even though it was previously their life’s mission.

I really love bridge to turnabout, not just because it’s arguably one of the most interesting/well written AA cases, or at the least in the trilogy, but because it so perfectly shows the growth and connections of the characters through the games and shows how their stories tie together, even seemingly unrelated characters like pearl and edgeworth. I could talk for so long about this case and this series they’re so dear to me

Classification of ghosts and spirits is complicated, a fact further complicated by the fact that no attempt at comprehensive ghostly cladistics ever spreads very far. Sure, most people could tell you that poltergeists are more physically violent than other ghosts, but anything more than that? No chance.

(This is further complicated by the fact that "poltergeist" is a nonsense term to actual ghosts. They have their own system and, needless to say, it little resembles anything the living come up with.)

There is a cult in San Francisco trying to summon something called a "bridge spirit" and the Teen Titans are pretty sure that doesn't mean a spirit that is connected to a literal bridge. They only have guesses for the cult's purpose, though. The group is surprisingly cagey about their goals.

Despite Vlad's affectation to the contrary, none of the halfas know much about what they are or how they work. They definitely don't expect people to be able to summon them.

I queued that last post a few days ago but it's great timing because I started my reread of Sword today and just got to Seivarden's Most Awkward Breakfast Conversation. she is suffering so much. it's great.

Like on the one hand the way that they're constantly talking at cross-purposes--because Breq can't believe that Seivarden cares about her except as a tie to the past and the memory of a thing she no longer is (because of course she's not a *person* but she's not really a ship anymore either), and Seivarden can't ask for any kind of intimacy that falls outside the paradigm of a patron/client relationship which Breq can't provide--is extremely compelling and kind of tragic. But also Seivarden's hopeless pining that Breq is utterly oblivious to is SO funny.

Manifestation - Bridge of Incidents/SP dating someone else!?

Hello everyone!

It’s been a minute since I posted, but I am back to write a little on the topic of “Bridge of Incidents” and also share with you a personal story that is unfolding right now with my specific person (SP) who started dating someone else recently.

What is the bridge of incidents? It is anything that happens between you deciding you want something, until you see that desire in your reality.

The bridge of incidents could include a multitude of events, seemingly good or ‘bad’. It could be conversations, it could be meetings, it could be songs they hear, videos they see, a book they read. The bridge of incidents can include anything you could imagine and multiple things you never even thought of.

Your SP could have a conversation with a friend or a family member that makes the light bulb go off and they think “Damn, I am really in love with this person (you)”. Maybe one of their best friends is getting married and that’s what makes them realise you are the one and they cannot risk losing you to someone else.

Maybe they stumble across a YouTube video and it just hits them in their feels hardcore. Often it’s several things, gradually occurring over time.

Another thing that happens are ‘random thoughts’ that your SP will have. But these thoughts are influenced by your manifestation. Are you manifesting them thinking about you all the time? Your SP will start thinking about you all the time, it will feel natural to them, they won’t feel forced or influenced. They’ll probably start seeing your name everywhere, things will remind them of you ALL THE TIME. For some damn reason their friends will suddenly bring up your name, all again seemingly random. But it isn’t random, this is your manifestation work influencing them. Their mom will suddenly randomly say how they liked you so much and thought you were the best fit for your SP or something like that.

Sometimes the bridge of incidents will include shit you don’t personally like and enjoy. So let’s address that. Your SP might start dating someone else.

BUT DO NOT FRET. This happened to me. Recently! 4.5 weeks ago my SP ‘ended’ things with me because he met someone else, said the other person were ‘exciting’, they had ‘things in common’ and he wanted to pursue it and ‘do right by her’ by ending things with me. Yawn.

No like seriously. He told me this straight to my face, he even said ‘I like her more than I like you’, I looked him straight in the face and said “No you don’t”. Anyways, long story short, I didn’t push it, didn’t ask, didn’t cry, didn’t beg, didn’t plead. Simply told him that it was his decision to make and I respected that decision.

He asked if we could still be friends. I said absolutely not, we are not just friends, in fact, I told him to his face that even right now, after saying what he has said, he still wants to kiss me and hold me. He didn’t deny it, in fact he responded “Am I the only one!?” and I said no, of course not, that’s the problem and why we can’t be friends. So there we were. In a bit of a stalemate. I said I was leaving to go home. We hugged and I said I just want him to be happy (he looked away cause he clearly wasn’t) and I walked away with my head held high.

I was able to do this because I have been working on my self-concept on a daily basis and it is hella strong now. I know I am the one and only one, I know I am the best. I know that no one compares to me. I know that I am irreplaceable, irresistible and unforgettable.

My ego was tempted to cry on the way home, but I pulled myself together instantly and said to myself, I refuse to be a victim to the 3D, I AM NOT. I will not allow myself to go into a victim mindset. This is the bridge of incidents and I trust in the process. I made it very clear why this happened - I manifested it - as part of the bridge of incidents to get the commitment I wanted. I embraced that he was dating someone else. It did not scare or intimidate me. You know why? Cause whoever she is, she is not me. And my SP is still my SP, and I knew whatever that shit was, it was gonna blow up in his face, probably within weeks. I just knew it. And I persisted in that assumption.

She has a role to play, and that is to remind my SP how AMAZING I am. How I am irreplaceable. How no one measures up to me. How no one else can make him feel as good as me. How no one can give him what I give. I persisted in all of my affirmations and my assumptions.

I also made sure I wished her no ill or harm, in fact, I imagined her in my head walking off in the sunset with the person who is meant for her, which is not my SP, cause my SP is mine. I claim it. But I also imagined her being hella turned off by my SP and vice versa, (sorry not sorry.)

My plan was to go no contact and trust the process. Except, my SP never stopped texting me. He kept commenting on my posts, saying I looked “Hot” repeatedly and would send me random texts and memes on Whatsapp. It was quite hilarious if I’m honest. It didn’t surprise me, I am irresistible after all. Within a week he was full on sexting me. But he didn’t make a move at this point so I leaned back.

Part of me felt a bit bad how he was so clearly disrespecting this other girl he was supposedly ‘doing right by’ but, at the end of the day, I know she will move on to be with someone that is awesome for her and I had to take this opportunity to remind myself, that if he was disrespecting her like that, she obviously means nothing to him and it is NOT serious. This is an assumption that works in my favour so I rolled with it.

He kept texting me every/every other day. Just would not leave me alone. 3 weeks and 1 day after the start of this story - we sexted again and he invited me over. He said “What if this is the last time?” , I literally laughed out loud in my bedroom when I read his text. Boy is delusional if he thinks it’s the last time. I went, he had one of the best sexual experiences of his life (he told me this after) and I left the next day and leaned all the way back again. (Leaning back is not initiating texts, taking a long time to text back or simply not responding at all. Staying away from social media/not posting is also part of leaning back). It’s easy to lean back when you trust and have faith in the process.

He called me up on the phone the next day (boy NEVER calls me). He was very sweet, very awkward, just ‘checking in’. He texted me a bit later asking if I wanted to come out and meet him at the bar he was at. I did.

During this meeting he was so so so so so damn sweet to me. He hugged me several times (long hugs). He’s normally very sexual towards me but he only touched my butt once. Instead it was just the hugs, he stayed close to me and there was a lot of sweet romantic kissing, rather than the usual sexually loaded ones.

During this night he once again repeated several of my affirmations back to me (this shit works). And it was really nice to hear and see the changes and shifts in him.

Things went a bit cold after that and I did not hear from him for a few days. Do not fear the silence. In fact, he hit me up this week to ask if I would be home on Thursday. I asked why and he told me he bought me something from my Amazon wish-list (in fact, he bought the most expensive outfit on there). My SP being generous and buying me gifts is one of my affirmations so that was a nice surprise. He bought me a really nice sexy two-piece outfit. But weirdly enough did not ask me out. But as I said before, I trust in the process and I trust in my affirmations and self concept, because they are clearly working!

So today is 1 day after I received the outfit (ended up getting it on Friday not Thursday) so that is how recent this story is. I hope this story provides some re-assurance but also highlights the importance of your self-concept work. You are all that and a bag of chips, you are irreplaceable. Know and trust in the process.

If your SP is dating someone else, make sure you frame your assumptions around that to benefit you in the way that I did. That other person could be (and probably is) exactly the thing your SP needed to experience to bring them closer to you.

You can never predict or determine how the bridge of incidents will unfold for you. The Universe will orchestrate and arrange things in perfect fashion to get your manifestation to you in the easiest and quickest way and yes, sometimes that will include shit you prefer not to experience as the story above.
