i know its partly the nature of critical role as a whole changing for this third campaign, but its SO funny to me that "Dont Trust Anyone Not Even Yourself" Paranoid Chucklefucks The Mighty Nein were showered in kind and helpful guest PC's and ended up So Good at the Magic Of Friendship (threatening). While Bell's Hells of "time for therapy!!!!" "do you think they'll be our friend" "what the fuck is up with that game time!!" have wound up with a like. 40% hit rate for villains in their close friends. like this is a MASSIVE oversimplification and it makes sense but its mostly very funny to me. rip to early campaign m9 you would have loved all of your paranoid instincts constantly paying off in the worst way

Fearne’s done so much for the Bells Hells with her constant bold faced lying and love of changing her story half way through a conversation and going “Uh what??? I didn’t change my story 🤨 I am being normal” because what the fuck kind of information can anyone gather about what the Bells Hells are doing from talking to her. She’ll lie to you about anything. She’s lying to you right now. She was lying about lying! She might’ve told you the truth but how could you know when it’s sandwiched between 5 different lies all told with the exact same conviction. She is talking to you like you two were supposed to get lunch last Monday and had to reschedule. She lies like she’s gaslighting but she doesn’t put enough effort in for it to be gaslighting so it just leaves the victim deeply wrong footed. She’s acting like it’s ssooooooooooo not normal for you to be killing someone when you’re from the Evil and Killing Factory and honestly it would be better if the conversation just ended. But she’s not letting it end. She has 5000 charisma. What do you even do with that.
