Shadow Phoenix - The Main Organizations - Part 2
The solar knight thought he had won, but his victory would mark the end of the Council of Daylight. The knight's protege, his future successor, betrayed him and the council. The young man gave all of the Council of Daylight's secrets and weaknesses to the successor of Lady Reaper, Lord Vexation. Some say the solar knight's protege betrayed the council as he became corrupted by the rest of the Coven of The Rising Moon in revenge and retaliation for the death of their former leader. Some say he was tricked by the coven into giving the information to them, some say that the young man had formed a bond with the human that the solar knight killed, and he betrayed the council out of anger and revenge towards the solar knight. A few still whisper to this day that the protege had fallen in love with Lord Vexation, even before he succeeded Lady Reaper after her death. Either way, the damage was done, the solar knight's protege lead the Coven of The Rising Moon in one last battle against the Council of Daylight. He beheaded the solar knight and along with Lord Vexation, they and the coven eliminated nearly every member of the council. Only one family survived and fled into hiding, taking over as heads of the Council of Daylight later on. The protege became known as the Knight of Dusk. He took his old friend’s dream of establishing peace and created the foundation for the FCPU and did his best to keep his friend’s legacy and dream alive. Next we get to the description of the organizations and character bios.

Stillness for Thorne, Informal for Asher, and Roots for Andry?
And if you have one you wanna answer for Crane pls do :)
Thanks for the ask!!!!!
stillness: How does your OC act while still? Are they fidgety? Do they have any common gestures or tics? Does their clothing affect how they hold themselves while at rest?
Thorne is capable of being very still indeed, but it's a skill he's cultivated with a lot of effort under some duress—he was probably quite a fidgety, getting-into-everything child anyway, not to mention the years he spent half-feral after his parents died, where he was always quiet but very rarely still. When he first arrived at the Falcon's Nest, he was capable of moving almost soundlessly, but had a lot of trouble keeping still.
However, Morden finds it distracting if Thorne is squirrelling around while he's in the midst of research or scheming or whatever, and of the handful of times he has ever really lost his temper with Thorne, almost all have resulted from Thorne's inability to keep still.
So. As with a lot of Thorne's personality, he's a bit split on this one. When Morden is elsewhere, Thorne is really quite fidgety; he plays with his hair, he bites his nails, he paces.
In Morden's presence all his motions are deliberate, and at rest he is still as a statue.
informal: What's your OC's lazy-day look? How do they like to dress when they're winding down?
If he's not going to be seen by anyone except servants and his family, Asher hangs out in a shift and stockings, which is what he would wear under most court-approptiate attire. (He also always wears slippers, because while there are rugs or mats in most rooms of Colomur Castle, that still leaves an awful lot of cold stone floor.) Asher cares a lot less about what he looks like in general than Andry does, and most of what he's required to wear out and about is more restrictive than he'd like, so pre-conquest he wore lazy clothes most days, since he didn't have to make all that many public appearances.
Honestly, one of the (surface-level, easy-to-think-about) things he hates most about his prolonged captivity is that he is almost constantly under the supervision of Leisevan soldiers, which... like, no one is going to tell him he has to dress up properly for them; his mother isn't here and Andry has other things on his mind and they're the only ones who would care. But. Even when he's in his borrowed quarters with the door closed, foreign soldiers or the Wolf or the White Crane himself might burst in to order him about at any time, and only the Crane really knocks. So. He's been dressing up properly in a doublet and breeches and even boots for weeks to just sit in his room alone and he really hates it.
roots: Is your OC's look inspired by any specific style of clothing or fashion trend? What are the roots and/or inspiration for their look?
.......okay so I can't like. A lot of what I picture for Andry is inspired by what they wear in the captive prince series. Lots of high collars and long sleeves that lace up. You know how it is.
I picture Craetalia as like...... very very vaguely Scandinavian? I have very clear pictures of everyone's outfits, and they are entirely based on my own aesthetic preferences and NOT historical accuracy of any kind, obviously. (In particular i always picture Cinth in like... Victorian-ass riding habits which is like a good 2-300 years off everyone else's outfits.) But Andry's style is very loosely inspired by like. 14-1500s-ish Vaguely Germanic Upper Class Attire. (I may make a post later with a bunch of outfit inspo bc I am a gay bitch who loves an Outfit)
The main departure from all this btw is the hair thing, which I just put in cause it's cool and I like it, but it also makes pretty good sense to me: Royalty and well-off Nobles in Craetalia keep very long hair, which they usually wear loose (men usually keep it entirely loose; women often wear braids, sometimes very elaborate ones, but still keep some part of their hair loose). The length and how well-kept the hair is is a status symbol: it's supposed to show a certain amount of poise and self-control, and it also implies that you can afford a whole team of servants to take care of it for you and you don't have to do a lot of strenuous work.
Lots of nobles only cut their hair 3 or 4 times their entire lives. Andry is royalty; his hair had never been cut before Morden got to it.
Speaking of Crane,
favorite: Does your OC have a favorite article of clothing or accessory? What is it? What's the meaning behind it? Do they wear it all the time or do they wear it sparingly to keep it safe?
I dont know if it's his favorite accessory (that's probably his Falconer Cloak; it has a feathered collar and he expends a lot of other people's magic repelling water from it whenever it rains) but he does currently wear a long braid of gold hair hanging artfully from his belt.
Audoine never wore it braided, obviously, because braids are feminine and the Lion of Colomur never questioned a gender role his whole miserable life. Morden braided it himself after he cut it from Audoine's head. (This was pre-beheading, obviously; he didn't want blood on it.) (Morden had Raptor do the actual beheading, but he cut the hair off himself.) (It felt good to give the old man what he deserved.) (The look on the Summer Prince's face afterward felt even better.)

I still don't think I've been able to work out a definitive answer on whether the birds in this game are bird-sized or human-sized. From context clues I'm leaning more towards human-sized, but there's nothing concrete.
The idea of them being bird-sized is absolutely hilarious to imagine though.

Javy is considering killing Hangman for so long he doesn't remember the first time he actually thought about it. He love his best friend and they're going to be bond for life, on earth just as in the sky, but if he has to hear another world about Bradley Rooster Fucking Bradshaw he's going to loose it. And, if he's going to loose his head he will make sure that Jake looses his too. But not metaphorically.
He can't go back home because Phoniex is there with Bob, Jake and Rooster, Fanboy is somewhere with 'Pay and maybe he could get himself a stiff drink and drown his headache in that? And then go back home to sleep and be ready for another forty minutes long rant offered by his best friend over pancake for breakfast.
He finds a spot where to park himself for at least half an hour and he's going to order a beer, money already in his hand when someone else's pays Penny for him. This one is on me Lieutenant, you deserve a little distraction by the Bradshaw-Seresin drama. God only knows we all do. He studied the maneuvers of this man, who's now sitting at his right, every year in school. He didn't just studied them he wrote a thesis about aerodynamics and physics because one doesn't go and becomes a four stars Admiral playing nice and all by the book. He has a copy of said thesis in his bedroom, waiting to find this man and making him sign it, and maybe read it too. This man is offering him a drink because he knows about the Bradshaw-Seresin drama. This man. Admiral Thomas James Kazansy, callsign Ice -freakin'-man knows about the drama.
Do you know about that too, sir? he asks taking a sip of his beer because he needs to find his voice again or he won't be able to say another word.
Pete doesn't talk about anything else. Over breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snacks. Sometimes I have to put on airphones so I don't have to hear him. Oh, oh this is going to be good. Javy can already feel the headache dissipates itself, the beer is cold in his hand and he's talking with his hero about something as unimportant as a love drama.
By the time the bar closes off it's already 2 am and Captain Mitchell is there to take Admiral Kazansky's home. They drunk enough beers and a particularly strong whisky he almost doesn't feel embarrassed when the Admiral tries to shake his hand and Javy hugs him. Thank you for tonight sir, I'm going to find the way to pay you back for all the drinks.
No need for that Lieutenant, but you could do something for me. Mav told me you wrote a thesis about some of my manouvers and I would like to read it, if it's possibile.
Maybe, and he says maybe, he's not going to kill Jake afterall, just mhayem him a little bit. Before he takes his thesis to Admiral Tom Iceman Kazansky, who he's just spend the night drinking with.
I think you broke him Ice, Captain Mitchell says. What do you say Coyote, leave your thesis by my office tomorrow morning and I will make sure to deliver it to him?
Ye-yes sir, it would be acceptable sir. Thank you again for tonight, sir. Goodnight, sirs. he stumbles a little, with his words and his feet, before they both disappeare around the corner.
He's going to wake up Jake and he's going to tell him everything and he's going do the same tomorrow too, until Jake will pray him to stop and he will tell him the same story again, for a little longer. So he will finally know what he has felt over the last two weeks.
(Babe I think you broke one of my students tonight Mav whispers while walking home.
Eh, you have another eleven of them, you'll live he answers before stopping in the middle of the road to kiss him sweetly.)

you do realize that the cited source for that list of palestinians who died is the 'gaza ministry of health' which is literally hamas? the same hamas that lied about israel attacking a hospital and 500 people dying when it really hit a parking lot and about a dozen people were killed (still a tragedy, but not the same scale at all). you know it takes weeks to identify the names of all the dead in wartime if you're doing it correctly, right? how is everyone so gullible, you hate jews that much?
u do realize how fucking dumb u sound? u do realize there's no independent verification in gaza at the moment bc israel has sealed gaza's broders? the same israel that has lied about shireen abu akleh's death, the same israel that shot unarmed palestinians in gaza in 2018 then lied about them being armed, the same israel that has changed their story about the attack on the al-ahli hospital multiple times and have offered questionable to fake "evidence" at best but just enough to muddy the water so that ppl like u will focus on that instead of the countless other hospitals, schools, churches and mosques they have bombed, and the same israel that's refusing to offer alternative numbers to palestinian casualties. apart from the fact that children are writing their names on their bodies so they can be identified later and palestinians grabbing their documents first thing in times of crisis bc they KNOW what it's like to live under constant attack, the united nations, independent international institutions and experts as well as palestinian authorities in the west bank, where hamas has NO power, all have faith in the gaza ministry's effort to account for the dead. in past "wars" their numbers have always been consistent with the un's and the us government’s annual human rights assessments frequently cite the gaza ministry. maybe ur more into this kind of statistic tho since u trust israel sm! and i would offer u links and sources for everything else i mentioned but i think it's time u do ur own research since u seem to be so gullible - or do u hate human beings, half of them children, that much?

anakin & ahsoka ( @tragcdysewn )
he hadn't been able to wrap his head around the events of what had happened in the maze - not that he had one for a while during it, but that was something for another time. a familiar presence in the force appeared - it was ahsoka, he didn't know if she wanted to talk about what happened, but he didn't. "whatever it was that happened, I don't want to talk about it, snips." anakin didn't know what to make of the whole situation in the maze - ahsoka hadn't been in control and he didn't blame her for what happened, or leia for that matter. "if you're staying, talk about anything else, just not that," he'd lost count of how long he'd been sitting on the park bench, just thinking - so much had happened, padme had died in front of him and there had been nothing he could have done and when she woke up, it was as if he was a monster and then everything with leia and ahsoka. it had all been too much and he could feel the darkside of the force edging its way back in, something he was fighting with everything he could.
