eros grinned at the other. "oh you know the usual stuff - murder, thieving, arson, a bit of maiming, the usual suspects," he hadn't done anything that chaotic in a while and was itching to cause trouble.

cass stirred the drink in her hands as she looked at the other. "it's not living without a few consequences." she added with a smirk to her lips. "what kind of trouble do you like to get into?"

"okay, how about you just take it down several notches before I have you kicked out of my fucking office," they paused. "why exactly would I kill my own daughter? are you fucked in the head or something like that? she's literally my flesh and blood,"

upon facing the other; vaggie felt her blood boiling. "-oh there's a thousand fucking reasons." she practically hissed, "-I should be the one asking you questions- like why did you kill charlie? -actually- I know why, you're a twisted sadistic fuck. ."

"I heard this city is full of them - I've heard people mention having doubles." she paused. "I'll just hand it into the police station or something like that then, maybe the person can be contacted that way - I don't know how losing something like that works,"

Katherine checked the name out on the I.D in the wallet and shook her head. "That's not me, but boy does she look like me. It's not Elena either, which is my actual doppleganger. So, I guess it must be someone else who looks like us." She shook her head.

"university work," sizhui paused. "I picked a subject when I didn't have memories of who I was or my home and now I'm beginning to regret it," the work wasn't too bad, not really - he was good at studying and was one of the top students, but he doesn't want to go into the field of politics.

"I asked what kind of work had you looking like that," Kaz says casually. To be more frank, he was trying to determine if the other was distracted enough to bother pickpocketing, and hadn't actually said a word. But now that the other's speaking to him, there's no point in doing anything but playing along.

"you really are annoying, do you know that?" jiang cheng asked, rolling his eyes at the other. "things are different here in this city - there's no one actively trying to kill them for what the rest of the wen clan did," he paused. "I'm not telling you anything else just now." jiang cheng rolled his eyes. "maybe you should wait until someone tells you information instead of sticking your nose in other people's relationships," he huffed, arms crossing over his chest.

Wei Wuxian feigns thinking over the other's rhetorical question, before shaking his head. "No, I don't think I can." He won't drop anything. His persistence is one of his most significant traits, he'd hate to let it slip by the wayside. "And yes, I'm happy. Of course I'm interested, I'm invested in both sides, you and Wen Qing... It's different, though," he points out with great confidence in his assessment: "I'm prying because neither of you are loud about it, how else am I supposed to get any information?"

"the air force," imogen paused. "it's the closest thing to riding a dragon here and it's not as bad as I thought it would be - nothing like basgaith with their shitty leadership,"

"i got a few people i train now." it helps keep his mind off the issues with their friends. though it can only do so much. "it's been keeping me busy here. what have you been up to?"

"I think one of the interns picked up the wrong stack of papers when bringing me some of the work I had to do this afternoon," she still didn't know how it had happened, but it wasn't the first mix up she'd had in the office. "tea sounds lovely, thank you,"

"oh, thank you." he honestly wasn't sure how he'd ended up in such a high position here, but it was something for him to focus on, so he wouldn't question it all that much. muyun smiles at her, shaking his head. "it happens sometimes, i appreciate it. would you like some tea before you go?"

"they do smell nice, it's a shame they only bloom for a certain amount of time." she smiled, nodding. "I must admit, I'm not much of a fan of winter either, it's too cold for my liking - I'm used to a warmer climate from my home," naboo was always beautiful and warm.

"that i can agree with, those cherry blossoms always just have a beautiful smell." Matthew admitted with a fond smile. "springtime. allergies are killer but i do enjoy the sunshine. winter is not a friend of mine."

"you're one of omega's brothers, hunter right?" cassian asked - he was sure omega had told him the one with the half-face tattoo was hunter. "I'm cassian, their adoptive mom is my sister," not by blood - but he considered her a sister anyway.

"that's a good age, it's before they start answering you back and aren't running off causing mischief," even at that age, the twins were still causing trouble. "you don't see them sometimes when I tell them no to something," he laughed slightly. it was strange to be sitting here with ari, with her not knowing him or their kids other than aurore.

"she just turned eight months." and honestly, she's a bit bummed now that she had left aurore with kirby for the afternoon. she'd probably get a bit of enjoyment out of watching the older kids run around. "oh, i'm sure. i've definitely seen kids behave like little terrors in public, this is nothing. they've just got a lot of energy."

"even if it is your old one, I'm glad that someone didn't decide to take it," many of the people in this city probably would if they had the chance to take someone's wallet, even if it was empty.

"Gladly it's my old wallet, thanks for giving it to me. Even though I don't use it anymore I wouldn't like it to get stolen" Rafe told the other and took it from the other hand.

"my parents would have known it like that," they paused. "I just hope that maybe they show up here as well - my older brother and my twin are here, but my brother has no idea who I am right now," she paused again. "I think that sentiment might be too late - he managed to get to leia last year." kirei didn't know if they should be telling padme this, but the other deserved to know. "she fell, it's why I don't want to talk to her right now because of what she did,"

"yeah, i wish you could've known the world when it was peaceful. not to say there weren't any problems then, but... it was better." padme hated it too. hated they were forced to have to deal with him in this city in much closer quarters. but padme knew what he was now and wouldn't be fooled again. "we're not going to let him do anything like that again. leia is in charge here and he won't be able to sink his claws into her."

"uh, maybe a few years?" kirei didn't know exactly how long it had been since they'd been stuck here, she'd given up counting after the first year. "we're trapped on this world - it's called earth and if you leave the city you'll forget everything and everyone." she was trying to not overwhelm them with information, but it was hard. "uhhh, do you want the extended version or just the cliff notes?" they asked.

kalea was thankful for the force that drew her towards her sister. relieved when she was finally able to lay eyes on her twin. "how long?" they asked as their sister seemed to have a full working knowledge of this city. "we can't leave? what do you mean there's no way out of here? and why aren't you talking to aunt leia?"

"I suppose everyone from home has had to adapt to this new place," they were glad to be away from all the chaos. "who else is here? I know of celaena, well I suppose you would know her as aelin,"

"oh, certainly, the technology is far more advanced than anything we're used to." the witch towers came somewhat close to the weapons she'd seen, but even those were different. "as am i."

"I think out of everyone, I'm the one least likely to do that, I'm the most level-headed sister - other than you," winter laughed. "okay, she still counts then - even if there's no memories of the force there."

"my job is to keep you all from blowing up at someone important, you know that." ahsoka teased, rolling her eyes affectionately at the other's causal pose in her office. "three. and one doesn't remember she can do it, so really just two."

"no," they shook their head. "I still have my wallet on me - maybe it belongs to the person who was sitting here before I was," he paused. "maybe hand it into the staff? the person might come back for it?"

"it would save so many problems if people would stay dead here," though it was somewhat a good thing - she at least knew if something happened to her or kore, they would be back. "that's understandable, let him have fun,"

"i know, it's the bane of my kriffing existence." kore mutters, rolling her eyes. she'd gone through a lot to finally kill ceres, and now it was just undone. "i will, i'll talk to him soon. he's been keyed up since vesta died again."
