as previously mentioned, i’m celebrating my belated BIRTHDAY this month! In keeping with my time-honored tradition of pushing deadlines back until the last possible moment, I will be celebrating on January 31st. Here is my birthday wish list, and a list of facts that bring me great delight:

i think at this point what really fucks me up is the “villain is never redeemable but they are relieved of their suffering trope” like smth smth the tragedy of being driven to cruelty by pain and self-destruction, and living like that for so long doing horrible things, but being offered compassion in the form of no longer hurting. like no you do not deserve forgiveness bc you’ve wronged so many people, but no one deserves to hurt like that either. you’re handed mercy and then you die. it’s okay. this part of the story ends and so do you.
