"Narcissa!" Theo called into the hall. He knew that was going to annoy her some, being summoned like that in her own house, as well as his familiarity, but he thought it would be worth it. "I have something you're going to want!"
"Theo…" Draco whined.
He wasn't wrong; when Draco's mother came to the door of her room and looked out, it was with one of her cooler expressions, but then she saw what he was holding and that evaporated instantly. "What in…" She came closer instead of waiting for him to come to her.
"Somebody had a little transfiguration boo-boo," Theo teased, and bounced Draco on his arm. Draco covered his face with both of his little hands.
"Draco?" She lifted him out of Theo's arm, holding him up to look at, and she actually smiled, a soft expression that immediately transformed her from regal to beautiful. It didn't even look intentional. "That is certainly some mishap." She settled him comfortably against her side, with an easy familiarity that belied the last twenty-some years.
"Motherrrr…" He squirmed in her arms. "I'm not a baby…"
"Of course you aren't," she agreed, and kissed his fingers.

i’m playing that hogwarts mystery app game and one quest is baby sitting a young draco

Swotty's DH headcanon no.4:
The Malfoy line has a couple of differing curses.
1. Being able to produce only one son in a lifetime (because of something that happened hundreds of years ago) to prevent any bastards. Draco having a kid with Hermione somehow broke that because his blood disowned him for procreating with someone of Muggle decent—this one was placed by a scorned Malfoy wife.
2. The kids having the signature Malfoy hair and eyes as to know if the wives have bedded another man—done by some Malfoy patriarch along the beginning of the branch.

When Lucius entered his study, he was unpleasantly surprised to find it occupied. Draco was standing in his chair, and he looked up, beaming, proud of himself. There were papers and smears of green paint all over and around the desk, and a line of papers across the desk with a misshapen green rope painted heavily over them… probably supposed to be a snake.
He almost snapped at Draco to get down, when his eyes fell on the book on his desk and he realised those weren't just any papers. The little bastard had ripped out and defaced the pages of a four hundred year old book written by the first Lucius Malfoy. He had turned a priceless artefact into scrap paper!
He raised his hand furiously, but the way Draco instantly cowered into the seat made him realise what he was doing. He stopped himself, clenching his hand tight as he dropped it. The boy had started to cry, even though he hadn't been touched, and he was holding paint-mottled hands over his face and wouldn't look at him. It was infuriating.
"Elf," he snapped instead, and when Dobby appeared he kicked the thing into the wall to release his anger instead of hitting Draco. That felt very slightly better. "Salvage that book," he ordered as it wobbled back to its feet, and took hold of the back of Draco's neck and pulled him off the chair. In complete silence except for Draco's sniffles, he marched him down the hall to Narcissa's room. She was hosting Florence Parkinson and her daughter-in-law, but he didn't care. He pushed Draco inside — he ran immediately to throw himself into his mother's lap, oblivious to her expression of distaste at the mess he was bringing — and left the room without a word.
