Why should Papyrus win the @autismswagsummit competition

He's my special boy. He's my blorbo. ✨He✨

He's very autistic and relatable. He has an hyperfixation on puzzles and joining the Royal Guard, he loves cooking pasta (and he tells you that he will be your personal pasta chef), he has trouble making friends (the guy is lonely), he reads massive books and loves the library, loves organising, he likes to create his own words to explain things.

He's this misunderstood silly little guy, even the characters in his own game won't get him. Also, he breaks the fourth wall all the time and he remembers you everytime you replay.

He's the kindest character of them all. He will never kill you in battle, he has a great control of his powers and stops when he knows he will hurt you and helps you fight him, he even heals you everytime you lose to him and offers you a home if you need it! He worries about you a lot.

He believes in you! He knows you can change for the better even when you're a freaking killer! He's the true pacifist!

He's against Mob in this tournament, and his brother (Sans) was against Reigen in the Tumblr Sexyman contest and won by a little. We have to repeat history.

Donnie is already a finalist in a thousand of polls, he's winning everywhere!

He's my comfort character, and for a lot of people too. There's literally a roleplay blog of him spreading positivism and helping people! I'm this traumatised depressed thing and Papyrus helps me with my tics and intrusive thoughts, I have a plush of him, I squeeze his shoulders when I'm having a crisis of any type, or simply when I'm nervous, I imagine him everytime I remember something horrible and that helps me to keep going, he's made of best friend material, I was taking a break from this account but I returned because of him, because I wanted to vote for him! I get so happy everytime a see him, and I love playing Undertale because of him. And Sans, don't ya like Sans? He would want his brother to win. So, we can do this together, we can make him win! Go vote for him!

Papyton Week Day 3: Dress

Papyrus just smiles and shakes his head because, for all the time the two of them have spent together, Mettaton still just doesn’t quite seem to understand that this is Papyrus’ favorite part of Mettaton. It isn’t the suave part. It isn’t the famous part. It isn’t the part that takes him to fancy restaurants. It isn’t the part that sings pitch perfect on CDs. It isn’t the part that poses for paparazzi just right. It isn’t the part that knows how to do the perfect smokey eye. It isn’t the part that knows how to behave just right in each social situation, though, that part has been unbelievably helpful.

I'm so sorry I'm late! I'm gonna try to catch up! I just got so tired last night and I couldn't finish in time! I also really, really wanted to get this just right.

I'm feeling a lot better than I was earlier this week which also means I'm not just writing and convalescing. I'm back at chasing my toddler around and doing other work. XD

“Great! Great! I, the Great Papyrus!”

Sans couldn’t suppress his smile widening as Papyrus came barreling through the door, workbook under one arm, backpack hooked on the other. That cry of triumph was always a welcome sound, even more so on weekdays when Papyrus’ school experience could be hit or miss. Today was a hit; his eyelights and cheekbones were glowing as he hopped and stomped the snow from his boots, tossed his pack aside and charged to meet his brother in the living room.

“Hey, bud. I take it the test went well?” Sans chuckled as Papyrus clambered right over the arm of the couch.

“The test went well,” he echoed with pride, rocking sideways to shove the workbook at him. “The test went great! I, the Grr-eat Papyrus, got a sticker from the teacher!”

Rolling his r’s again too? Then today couldn’t have gone any better, Sans noted, shoulders sinking in warm relief as Pap snuggled into his side. Over a month ago some idiots in another class had mocked his brother’s habit, making him feel self-conscious about it, but who were they to judge? Pap liked the way the syllables rattled and buzzed behind his teeth (and Sans could be obliged to rearrange a few of theirs if they dared imply his brother was weird or lesser again.) It was only now that he was happy enough not to restrain it.

Tracing one hand over the sparkly star pasted at the top of his worksheet, Sans lightly scratched the crown of Papyrus’ skull with the other, making him squirm and giggle. “What’d I tell ya? As good as gold!”

“And grr-eater! Nyeheheh!”

Why I Headcanon Papyrus as autistic, I'm saying this as someone with autism

One, he's seemingly socially inept.

Two, he also seems to have trouble regulating the volume of his voice.

Three, his hyperfixation could be puzzles.

Four, I have a feeling that he has trouble understanding innuendos and/or sarcasm.

Five, all of these apply to me as well haha (minus the puzzle hyperfixation)
