Delilah is so sassy and abrasive, but you quickly learn that she's protecting herself from being hurt. Claire is a single mom who finds it impossible to focus on what makes her happy, instead doing what's best for everyone around her. This book definitely calls for a glass or two of wine, just try not to spit it out laughing. I just finished my last book club read, Girl Made Of Stars by @ashleyhblake. I really liked this, despite the subject matter. I felt really connected to Mara, her relationships and her trauma. Tw: rape, sexual assault Other issues discussed including - coming out, disphoria, panic attacks, consent, and victim blaming.
