Just finished one of my best paintings yet. Introducing The Clearing, 2023 by me. Acrylic on canvas with paper details. I love looking at it, it pulls my eyes in and makes use of some of my favourite methods of painting. It started off as a different painting entirely but then I got the guts to paint over one of my paintings for the first time and start over and it was incredibly freeing. If you're looking for a slow burn canon universe fic that focuses on character interactions, I highly recommend it. It's beautifully written, the characters are on point and everything is perfectly paced.
