the fact that modern arcades don't take tokens or quarters is so disappointing, you don't get physical tickets you get points on a card, like sure is that more efficient and easier for everyone, yeah but there's no joy in whipping out a Dave and busters card and using it to play a rigged game, no joy at all.

the batfamily would NOT be on social media at all realistically, but of course tim loooooves photography, so i think he'd be a super dedicated scrapbook-mom type instead. (to compensate for the incredible instagram posts he WOULD make)
like, he's got books for each of his friends, one for each family member, and multiple for pictures of parts of the family and all of them together (although rare). he even has separate books for people in-costume and out-of-costume.
every christmas + birthday he recieves a loooooot of scrapbooking materials, he has draws of washi tape and stickers in his room.
he definitely tries his best to match the themes of the pages to the people in them too, and not one book has the same feel to it. he always writes very sincere little captions under the pictures as well. if he wasn't so attached to the books, he'd give them as gifts.
damn you arcade gannon fans yall got me. maybe i should give this Average White Man™ a chance... but hes not toppling craig "yeah" boone. or veronica "ronnie" "one punch" santangelo.
Question for the ages: is this Emu or Rui? I dunno, maybe by the time I’m done writing this I’ll have a proper conclusion.
First off: balloons! Rui’s emoji in the fandom is the balloon emoji and it was his symbol on the 2nd anniversary merch because one of his hobbies is balloon art.
Next we have a compass, obviously referencing the current WxS of them all trying to move towards and realise their future. Rui has the most conflict over this, and at the end of the last WxS event he mentions that he thinks he has found a way for them all to stay together.
Also there’s a lot of stars which is very much a Tsukasa thing but I highly doubt this’ll be his event moving on.
Then there’s the overall theme park setting. Obviously Emu’s got the strongest and most personal connection to it (see WxS arc 1). I still think you could do more with that idea, like maybe a flashback event that goes more in-depth about her relationship with her grandfather, similar to Vivid Old Tale did for An and Nagi. But then again, this is an arc ender, so there might be a better time for that. Also the ending shot with the theme park at night - her last comm was Starry Sky Orchestra, and it could also be a nod to the night show from Wonder Magical Showtime! that helped her to save the park and keep her grandfather’s dream alive.
However, WxS is also very special to Rui since it gave him somewhere to belong. PXL is like a home for him and WxS, he literally says this in Island Panic. Whatever plan he’s been coming up with behind the scenes seems to involve everyone staying at PXL together because he doesn’t want to leave them (see Curtain Call). So yeah, the park is significant to him too.
But in terms of the song. It doesn’t feel like a Rui comm. At all. It’s so different from all his other comms but it does feel quite a bit like an Emu comm.
Yeah in conclusion I still don’t know. I’ve been asked about what my predictions for the story are a few times already, so I’ll badly summarise them here. If it’s Rui we’re going on his copium arc where he’s probably gonna have to come to terms with the fact that WxS isn’t going to last forever and he has to enjoy the moment. If it’s Emu, Rui’s plan will probably still come up, and it will probably still have the idea of just enjoying their time at the park while it lasts, just more focused on Emu staying behind to carry her grandfather’s dream while everyone else moves on to pursue their own dreams.
