Bought these pastries from Mei Kee Bakery (美記餅家) in Yishun Bus Interchange. The cinnamon-scented Apple Tart used to cost just S$1.50 but had since gone up to S$2 apiece, a whopping increase of S$0.50! Likewise for the caramelized Portuguese Egg Tart from S$1.50 to S$2 each. Do refresh the tarts in the oven if you are eating them the next day as the pastry shell will get soggy.

Apple pie rose 🍎🌸😋
Ingredients:
300g of flour
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
125g of butter
1 egg
Jam (for the filling)
Apples (for the filling)
Preparation:
Slice the apples into thin pieces and soak them in hot water with a little lemon juice and sugar (for 10 minutes).
Drain the apple slices and place them on a paper towel to dry.
After rolling out the dough and placing it in the mold, pierce it with a fork and spread any type of jam you have.
Arrange the apple slices on top. Sprinkle with a little sugar and cinnamon.
Bake the tart in the oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 20 minutes.

What is your favorite rarepair?
Thats such a good question because I'm never sure which twst pairs are actually Rare or if I'm just blind as fuck. So let me think..
There are a few crackships that are certainly rare but I'm not counting them in rn, so I think I'd go with Appletart (Epel x Riddle, one of the very few pairs where I actually know the shipping name) and Jamil x Ruggie. Are they considered rare? I barely see people talk about Appletart and pretty much no one about Jamil and Ruggie (though I must add: Since I believe that both Jamil and Ruggie would struggle a LOT with romantic love - due to multiple reasons - they'd be more of a besties/platonic partnership).
Funny enough, both of them got my attention the same way! It was the Glorious Masquerade Event (which was my very first event. I started playing I think a week or two before the Masquerade ended on EN server) and I saw their interactions and adored it a lot. Later, when I was watching videos of past events (to catch up on the lore bc I snort that shit like cocaine) I found more delicate crumbs and collected them carefully.
So yeah, I'd wholeheartedly go with Appletart (which is a sick pair name btw) and Jamil & Ruggie.
