My Monza winner wishlist in order of preference:
- George (first GP win and first Merc win for the season)
- Lewis (comeback win, first Merc win)
- Daniel (a big 🖕🏻 to Zak Brown on the way out)
- Seb (his first and… probably last win being in Monza would be an amazing bookend to his career, would be an unexpected comeback underdog win)
- Alex (first GP win, underdog)
- Charles (conflicted on this one because Ferrari doesn’t deserve the win at Monza but Charles does)
- Pierre but preferably in a Piarles podium

Over these last few races there has been a lot of people saying that "Sainz doesn't need to give a f about Ferrari anymore, he's driving for his future" which is so so contradictory.
Sure, his results on paper are going to be important for contract negotiations, but HOW he gets those results is more important.
The situation Sainz will be in next year is either 1st driver at a midfield team, or 2nd at a top team (with only RBR and Merc potentially having open seats, and Verstappen and Russell will be prioritised there).
If he wants to fight for wins he will need to accept a 2nd driver seat, and to get there he needs to show that he can be a team player, regardless of his situation. Otherwise a midfield team is his only option. Even then, there is no driver's championship in the midfield, only the constructor's matters. Look at Magnussen in Jeddah, and all the praise he received for putting the team first and helping Haas score their first point. That's what the midfield teams need and want.
Sainz is a good driver, yes, but while the media might like the "he's only driving for himself" narrative, the teams would be a lot more impressed by a "he's putting the team first, despite not having a seat with them next season" narrative.
Besides, he's not the only one without a seat. Essentially half the grid is jobless next season, but they are playing the team game, and that actually makes them much more attractive candidates (even if Sainz might be the faster driver).
And if we look at RBR and Merc. Checo is doing exactly what he needs to do: finishing and qualifying p2, while also having a history of being a brilliant team player when need be. Even if Sainz does get signed, he won't be challenging Max. Max is the 1st driver, and the car will be designed towards his preferred extreme oversteer (which we know Sainz struggles with, given the beginning of 2022 and the end of 2023). And with Sainz being older than Max, and with Lawson coming up in 2025 he'll probably not be given more than 1-2 years with RBR.
Mercedes is struggling, and are in no way in contention for titles or wins. The drivers know that right now the team needs to focus on just maximising their joint results (e.g. Hamilton asking if he should let Russell pass in Suzuka). Merc has also already made it clear that they want Antonelli, either for 2025 or 2026. Toto has said that they might just give up on 2025 and use it as prep for 26, and in that case they'll probably sign Antonelli.
If they decide to sign Sainz it'll, again, only be for 1-2 years (with 2025 being a write off and 2026 being a total unknown). Sauber is definitely Sainz best option: he'll be the 1st driver and they might be competitive with Audi in 2026.
It doesn't matter what he or his fans think he "deserves". This is the truth of the situation, and he's not doing himself, or anyone, any favours by driving only for himself. And besides, despite the media claiming that Sainz is hot property, he is not actually that much more desirable as a driver than anyone else.
On one hand there is the matter of his age. Sure, he's not old (considering Alonso and Hamilton are driving into their 40s, but that's ALONSO and HAMILTON) but he is turning 30 this year, which means that while he might be in his prime he won't be getting any better. He doesn't have the potential that a young rookie has. He is delivering what he should be so far in 2024 considering he's in a Ferrari, but so has everyone else who is in contention for a good seat.
The second thing is his racing cv: 3 wins in 10 years and a highest championship position of 5th. I know people are arguing that he simply hasn't had the car to do more than that: "he was stuck in midfield cars for 6 years (7 if you include the 2021 Ferrari)". Let's rephrase that: "he didn't perform strongly enough to be promoted to a top team for 6 years".
Between 2015 and 2021 Bottas, Leclerc, Verstappen, Gasly and Albon received promotions to the 3 top teams and Sainz did not (Bottas after 4 years and the rest after 1 year (Albon a bit earlier and Verstappen a bit later)). Sainz IS a good driver, I'm not denying that, but he doesn't have championship potential and that's okay. He's not being "underrated" by the teams. They know exactly what he is capable of, and he WILL get a seat next year, but he isn't being disrespected by anyone because they aren't signing him.

What's your silly season prediction? I have been thinking bc to me there's no way Carlos doesn't have a seat for next year.
So we know that Lewis/Charles are in ferrari and Mclaren have their drivers locked down.
I think mercedes is gonna take Checo. Why? first they don't have the car to be breaking others drivers contract, they need a midfield that can help George but still be good at getting points, I feel Checo is better in a top car but not the top car. They need someone who bring some marketing, they are gonna take a blow now that Lewis is gone but Checo have the North America audience and is probably the driver that brings more money beside Lewis. I don't feel Kimi is ready for a Mercedes seat yet, Checo is old enough to retire when he's ready.
That leaves the RBR seat free, the obvious choice would be Carlos, I was very on board with this till the whole Horner mess and realized how messy Jos is and still have some power within the team so I bet he won't let Carlos get that seat lol. My bet is on Fernando then, I know Markos don't want him but Horner will, no way Daniel is getting that seat sorry.
So then Carlos to AM with Lance, hopeful it gets better and he can fight for podiums at least, he really deserves a top seat.
Zhou stay with Sauber but Bottas is gone, I'm not sure they would take their academy driver so my bet is Nico, he's wanted by Audi so he's just getting in one year early.
Haas stay with Magnussen because they won't have two rookie but Ollie gets the other seat.
Yuki stay and Daniel is out, Liam get his seat.
Williams stay with Albon, the other seat I'm not sure... I feel Kimi should do another year in f2 but Toto may get cocky and get him the seat. If not they would get maybee Gasly, I feel he wants out of alpine and this is the best he can get.
Alpine stay the same if Gasly doesn't leave, if he is gone then they are getting one of their academy drivers maybe Jack.
I agree with a lot of what you’ve said.
However, based on how things stand now, i think RB will resign Perez. They don’t need any more damn upheaval and he is delivering right now, as well as not making a nuisance of himself.
I think a lot of this hinges on Kimi and how he does in f2 and how much testing they are able to get him. But lets say he ends up needing another year in f2.
I think Alonso to Merc, and Carlos to AM. Alonso is not happy with the performance of the car, even Krack said it, he doesn’t want to drive in 10th. Toto likes a proven entity and Alonso is certainly that. But the other thing about Alonso, he’s old. He’ll take a one year contract because he doesn’t know how long he wants to do this, and Toto doesn’t have years to be offering, because he has to keep the seat warm for Kimi. You could say Carlos is ideal for Merc because there’s only one year until Audi comes in, but i have a sixth sense that Carlos would either want to bed down at Merc, or not go there at all. So I see Alonso to Merc on a one year contract, and Sainz to AM to hedge his bets on staying there if Daddy Warbucks manages to produce a good car, or switching to Audi if it’s the trenches.
On RBR, I don’t think anyone over there wants to add the sainzs to the list of obnoxious families involved in whatever is going on over there. And I don’t think they want to be playing games with Alonso either. They want to let Max do what Max does with minimal interruptions and as fun as Fernando is I don’t think his antics would be washing over there. I think Horner has lost too much pull over there to be making waves. He’s survived the assassination attempt but at the cost of realising he is ALONE in that garage. I don’t think he’ll be willing to stir up any animosity from Jos or Helmut by trying to bring back Daniel. And with Daniel’s performance he has no leg to stand on.
Yuki is a lock until 2026 which means Daniel is out and Liam is in (I think Liam has already signed).
Agree that Bearman and KMag will be the lineup for Haas.
Would love to see a whole new lineup for Sauber, but unlikely. I think they’re just as likely to stick with Zhou and Bottas as to get rid of them, because I think Audi will want a totally new lineup In 2026 anyway. I’m not sure what the pipeline is like for Sauber if Ferrari academy drivers go to Haas. Would not be surprised at all if it was Nico, I’d like to see him stay on the grid. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was Daniel, as an Audi audition and for the marketing.
I think Alex has one more year on the contract at Williams so he’s locked in. Sargeant definitely gone. I don’t know who else is in the Williams academy so can’t say who will get the seat. I am very skeptical about Kimi getting it. I think it will take James Vowles having NO other option before he takes on a Mercedes’ junior. I don’t think it’s unlikely that Kimi will go straight to Merc in 2026 (or 2025 honestly. They could use it as a test year for him if they are just giving up on the current regs). But yeah I see another rookie at Williams. Unless they get a hint that Alex is leaving…in which case they’ll be scrambling for someone with experience but idk who they will find. I don’t think they’ll take Gasly with that attitude of his.
I see alpine sticking with the baguettes. Maybe they dump Pierre but that’s a big maybe because the heck else are they going to get? Doohan doesn’t seem like he’d do a better job and their car is so bad a rookie might not even be able to keep it out of the wall. If they don’t improve the car, I see them sticking with the current lineup.
So yeah I mostly agree. But I’m just SO excited to see a couple of rookies on the grid, and Liam too.

What each driver would be like playing “TTT” 🔫🕵‍♂️
For everyone who doesn't know the game: TTT is a multiplayer shooter game where the players get sorted into two teams: “Innocent” and “Traitor”. Only Traitors know who is in their team, the Innocent have to guess (leading to a few mind games along the way). There is also a Detective who gets special items to help the Innocents combat the Traitors.
The goal is to eliminate the other team.
You know Among Us? It's basically Among Us but Counterstrike.
Max Verstappen
That one tryhard in the group, you know the one. Takes everything extremely seriously, no fun allowed, he's here to win. Often seen hanging around Charles, who balances out his serious playstyle. Can be convinced to have some fun but only by Charles.
Checo Perez
Doesn't know why he's here. The last video game he played was Tetris. Is frequently left alive solely because he has no clue what's going on and is therefore not seen as dangerous.
Charles Leclerc
The menace. WILL shove you off high buildings and cliffs just because he thinks it’s funny. Teams mean nothing to him, will kill anyone on sight if it has the potential to make him laugh. No one ever suspects him being a Traitor because he also does all this when he's Innocent.
Carlos Sainz
Is a surprisingly good Detective. However, he WILL sing Smooth Operator when he wins. Sometimes gets killed just to prevent this.
Lando Norris
Running around the map at speeds unparalleled. Manic energy personified. Consistently has the most fun, mostly achieved by trolling everyone.
Oscar Piastri
Resident ghost. Goes quiet as soon as the round starts. Everyone thinks he's dead until he snipes them from the shadows. Has won rounds where he was the only one left standing in his team. Was banned from using a Sniper Rifle for a long time.
Lewis Hamilton
Refuses to play.
George Russell
Writes essays on the fly on who is most likely to be a Traitor based on their behavior and pattern of speech. Tries to calm everyone down and speak in an orderly fashion. Makes for a great Detective but often gets killed when he's Innocent because he yaps too much.
Alex Albon
Blames everything on George. Killed a man? George did it (he was on the other side of the map). Saw someone jump off a building? George shoved them (it was probably Charles). Gets away with it most of the time.
Logan Sargeant
Likes to throw explosive barrels at people to his soundboard of Bald Eagle screeches. He embraces the meme. And is often the first one to be killed as a result.
Daniel Ricciardo
Is very bad at the game. Still laughs the most out of everyone. You probably don't want him as your teammate but he is too fun to be mad at him.
Yuki Tsunoda
You'd think he is sweet because he is so smol. Oh no. The rage has nowhere to go in his body. He is the first to scream obscenities into the mic, the likes of which you probably heard coming from a 12 year old on XBox voice chat (they are vicious).
Pierre Gasly
Targets Esteban and Esteban specifically. Even if they're on the same team. Other than that, can be seen trailing Charles and shoving people off buildings with him.
Esteban Ocon
Most often seen in a heated debate with Pierre, spoken in French. Sometimes Charles is live-translating everything they say to everyone’s amusement.
Fernando Alonso
Gets all the trick shots. Dances on your dead body. You hear him laughing maniacally before he kills everyone. Seems to be a Traitor almost every time.
Lance Stroll
A bit unsure of what he's supposed to do but in a lovable kind of way. Tries to latch onto Fernando, who takes him under his wings like a mother hen.
Nico Hülkenberg
People forgot to invite him.
Kevin Magnussen
Doesn't play. Always uses the excuse of having to look after his daughter (even if she isn't there).
Valtteri Bottas
The one who's always messing around with the props on the map. Likes finding the bike, picking it up and pretending to ride it. Isn't interested in anything else.
Zhou Guanyu
Refuses to use any weapon other than the cat gun. Despite that, he is surprisingly good at the game if his cat isn't trying to lie on his keyboard.

Formula 1 explained (I think)
Here is a not-so-brief explanation of some of the important things in formula 1. Enjoy!
Free Practice
Free practice is drivers remembering how to not suck before they have to go and not suck in front of a lot of people with a lot more cameras. Whoever goes fastest gets people to momentarily hope (on the rare occasion that it is not Verstappen) that someone other then Verstappen will win a race. To put things into perspective, this never happens. Takes place on a Friday.
Qualifying
Qualifying is like a race but not a race. It’s short and if you suck in qualifying, unless you’re god (or again, Verstappen) you’re gonna suck in the race as well because however you finish is however you start in the actual race. If you manage to finish first in qualifying your on pole. Unfortunately, it no longer matters if anyone other than Verstappen is one pole because the guy somehow manages to clinch a race win anyway. Takes place on a Saturday.
Grand Prix (the actual race)
Finally, we have reached the actual race. There’s a lot of panic and stress for nothing and they make a big show of five lights going out and then people race. A lot of people go out in turn 1 so try to keep your head screwed on for the first few laps. If Williams are higher than P20 and P19, look outside because the world may be ending. Alfa Romeo disappear out of the points and tend to just suck in general. McLaren will either do really shit or really good but they can never actually WIN a race, just get onto the podium. Ferrari will occasionally let their fans sniff the air in P1 before either crashing or getting taken out by Verstappen. One of the two. The Mercedes will probably be nice and comfy having not moved from their cemented P4 and P5, and the Redbulls? Well, Checo doesn’t really get a lot of limelight but the aforementioned Verstappen will be winning. Not a negotiable fact. The other teams will be somewhere in between. Takes place on a Sunday.
Sprint Races
Occasionally the FIA are feeling quirky and they decide to have a sprint race which is like a race but not a race. It’s short so you don’t need to pit. Sometimes when they decide they don’t want blood on their hands they’ll stop a race halfway through if the conditions are dangerous and then resume it when the weather dies down. These are also technically little sprint races. They do regular qualifying on a Friday and then on Saturday they have what the FIA like to call a ✨sprint shootout✨ which is qualifying for a sprint race. Same rules apply. Then they have some fun with a sprint race and when they’ve calmed down a bit, have a normal race on Sunday.
Teams And Drivers
The current formula 1 grid has 20 drivers, two drivers per team, and in case you suck at maths, that makes 10 teams. Teams have first and second driver. This is a way of saying who is shit and who is not without hurting their feelings. These teams and their drivers are as follows:
Redbull: Max Verstappen (first driver) and Sergio “Checo” Perez (second driver)
Ferrari: Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. No first driver because the team principal likes Leclerc more but Sainz’s father realised this.
Mercedes: Lewis Hamilton (first driver) and George Russell (second driver)
McLaren: Lando Norris (first drivers) and Oscar Piastri (second driver)
Alpine: Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly. Again, no first driver because the French civil war is too intense. At least I think.
Alfa Romeo: Valtteri Bottas (first driver) and Zhou Guyanu (second driver)
Alpha Tauri: Yuki Tsunoda (first driver) and Daniel Ricciardo (second driver) although Ricciardo had a bad crash and broke his arm so as of October 2023 Liam Lawson from F2 is stepping in.
Aston Martin: Fernando Alonso (first driver) and Lance Stroll (second driver)
Haas: Kevin Magnussen (first driver) and Nico Hulkenberg (second driver)
Williams: Alexander Albon (first driver) and Logan Sargeant (second driver)
So that’s the low-down on the bare bones of an F1 race. Tell me if I’ve missed anything or got anything wrong!
Danny out.

I listened to every song named after current f1 drivers (so you dont have to)
Max: some of these are hype songs a la pitstop boys, and most of the ones that aren't are pretty odd lowkey. A couple are literally just his entire life story rhymed and set to a beat which gives me Homer vibes so that's kinda cool. Some are...kinda weird. 6/10 Special mention to Max verstappen by Abad 33. Man wrote a biographical rap, amazing
Checo: the same 3 bands that write all the max stadium chants are also writing checo ones which is kinda sweet! a lot of these are directly about him rather than namedropping him--he has a higher ratio of these than other drivers. Also not just rap/dance tracks, some are more traditional Mexican music which is awesome. Overall no skips here, 9.8/10 Special Mention: Checo Perez by Alan Y Roberto
Charles: most of these are along the lines of "im sexy and fuckin cool and i feel like charles leclerc" but the vibes are there. have heard at least 3 that reference Max or make ver-stop-him type puns. Also several modern epic poetry vibes and a few kinda slow ones, very him. 8.2/10 Special Mention: Charles Leclerc by SAE. The one by Alexander Lewis is also kind of a mood but a little more hype
Carlos: some really lowkey beats here, kinda chill not too aggressive. The only issue here is I can't tell if theyre about him or his dad and they're more namedrops than bios so it's hard to tell. 6/10 for that reason but special mention for Carlos Sainz by teme
Lewis: can confirm Lewis Hamilton by geezy is a mood lowkey but based on the line "swear i drive like a ferrari, I'm all about the wins" I think maybe geezy does not watch formula 1. These are good though! Lot of bops in here. a LOT of songs abt this man. 9.5/10 Special mention for being the only one on this list to have a song he sang in, shoutout to Pipe feat XNDA
Pierre: he actually has a couple but some of them are weird as hell. Weirdly enough every one I've found is in English, maybe because Gasly is really easy to rhyme in English? not sure. 7/10. Special mention to Pierre Gasly by FeldaLeaf, featuring the classic line "Pierre Gasly driving the Tauri, bitch I'm the alpha I got people coming for me"
Lando: actually thought he'd have more but he only has a couple. One is a hype song and the other is his roller coaster one. Overall fun but not hits. 5/10 Special mention: Let's Go Lando! by Pitstop Boys
Valtteri: has quite a few which all have car noises and radio clips and are pretty heavy/hard rock. These feel like they maybe came from the Mercedes era because they're just generally full of rage but i kind of love that for him. 7.6/10 Special Mention: Bottas by Arcangel, which is only slightly about him but is heavy as hell
Fernando: please just go listen to El Nano by Melendi, this is the happiest fucking song ive ever heard in my entire life. It's from the Renault era and it sounds so 2000s and i had to translate the lyrics but theyre SO cute. when he gets in his renault? Magic alonso!!!!! <33333 he honestly has the best music so im giving him 15/10 hands down but please know its mainly because of El Nano
anyone who was not listed isn't on here because I found no songs named after them, very sorry (parody songs written from the perspective of certain drivers not included). Takeaways from this exercise: there is a lot of bad self-produced rap on spotify, some of it is pretty good, and in general people are writing music about this sport like its the fuckin Iliad or something which I think rules. In conclusion, thank you for reading and please stream El Nano

And what's "it"? Like, THE f1? And is F1 like football, like are there European races or is it just worldwide? And are there qualifiers + how do they decide which countries race?
yes! i did just say ‘it’ lmao but i meant formula 1! formula 1 is an already arranged sport, as in the races have already been decided beforehand! there are multiple races, this year it’ll be 24! the races are distributed through different countries, but some countries have multiple races as well (like the us and china) and there are in fact qualifiers, but not in the way you’re thinking lolll
Wait nvm im a fucking idiot i j realised the teams that race are car brands/teams not countries 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Dear God I'm sorry for wasting anyone's time by making u read that, that is honestly embarrassing behaviour on my behalf.
LMFAOAOAO NOOO UR GOOD !! there are 10 teams on the grid and 2 drivers race for each team (technically 3, as there’s also a reserve driver.)
these are the drivers for the 2024 season!
red bull - max verstappen 🇳🇱 & checo perez 🇲🇽
ferrari - carlos sainz 🇪🇸 & charles leclerc 🇲🇨
mercedes - lewis hamilton 🇬🇧 & george russell 🇬🇧
mclaren - lando norris 🇬🇧 & oscar piastri 🇦🇺
aston martin - fernando alonso 🇪🇸 & lance stroll 🇨🇦
haas - nico hulkenberg 🇩🇪 & kevin magnusen 🇩🇰
sauber - valtteri bottas 🇫🇮 & zhou guanyu 🇨🇳

driver championship:
all the drivers are against each other, there are 20 places u can end up on, and there can only be one winner. the winner is determined by who scores the most points (only top 10 fastest during a race receives points, but it’s important to get as many wins and podiums as possible during the season)
constructors championship:
both these take place at the same time, but this is when teamwork comes in. the constructors championship is based on who the fastest team is, and that’s also determined by which has the most points. they receive points from their drivers doing well in races, and then add their points together. for example, if lewis gets 18 points during a race and george gets 15, they’ve scored 33 points for the constructors championship!
the points are given out by how quick you are during a race and how fast you finish. if you’re the fastest to complete, let’s say, 52 laps for example then you get 25 points! one lap is one round around the circuit btw!
1 - 25
2 - 18
3 - 15
4 - 12
5 - 10
6 - 8
7 - 6
8 - 4
9 - 2
10 - 1
(+1 for whoever has the fastest lap)
And 8th what? 8th like, win?
8th world title !! as in becoming an 8 time world champion. he won it in 2008, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020! he’s actually won over 100 grand prixs (like he’s won over 100 of the races)
Isn't there a movie coming out (maybe out now tbf) about a racer that was a video game neek but got recruited by Ferrari or another big racing group? Do lmk the name + whether you've seen it + whether it's out + who it's acc based on bc it looks super super super interesting imo
oh! gran turismo? i haven’t actually seen it, even though it’s got farleigh from saltburn in it 💘 IT ALSO HAS THE WIFE OF THE RED BULL TEAM PRINCIPAL !! ok no that was kinda mean of me to refer to the GINGER SPICE as blablablas wife, BUT ITS GERI HALLIWEELLLLLL AKA GINGER SPICE !! 🫶🫶 i just haven’t had the time to watch it yet and haven’t really been interested lololol, but it is out yes! i think it’s inspired by jann mardenborough (not in f1 but a racer), but it’s not his story ifygwim.
SOSOSOSO SORRY I PUT U THROUGH ALL THIS !! ILY AND SO EXICTED FOR UR UPCOMING PROJECTS <333 i wish u the best of luck w school and everything else in life !!
HIYA!!!
Can't reply to a lot of the bits n bobs bc i've read them and they've aided my understanding, but ofc i dont rly have much input bc im j learning here 😭😭
BUT THAT WAS VERY HELPGUL.
and big ups to Mr Hamilton too, that's biiiig time for him, winning over 100 Grand Prix's!??!?!!?!!?!? Insanity. Holy fuck, that's genuinely wild, best luck to him on this year's f1
And GRAN TURISMO!!!! That does sound familiar - I'm assuming that's the movie. And OMDS WATCHED SALTBURN A FORTNIGHT AGO!!! fucking wild. that last scene especially, genuinely blew my mind seeing the MC doing that. [no spoiler zone here.] But holy FUCK farleigh was fir - complete arsehole but absolutely stunning.
And I'm rly excited to watch that - lmk if u do and if i do i'll give u a movie review to lyk whether it's worth a watch xxx
STAY WELL SV5!!! <333

hi i almsot had a heart attack because of your bio but i wanted to ask which current f1 driver you’d be the most comfortable with as your uber driver
ok i can't just rate them like that i have to think of all of them as uber drivers. i'm already excluding latifi and albon for obvious reasons
max verstappen: i think he'd be the sort of guy that wouldn't talk anything other than hello and thank you, but it's ok bc i'm not big of an uber talker. efficient route, could end up having a bit of rage bc he drives a tesla and those things always have weird shit going on in their panels. you get to your place with no issue. 4.5 stars if it went well 4 stars if he got road rage bc tbh sometimes it's justified.
checo perez: lowkey the same as max except that for once i'd try to strike up a conversation and he'd dissociate. the sort of driver to wear sunglasses the entire time and you are kinda like "tf it's not that sunny today". you'd get there but with a 3 min delay because he always chose the slowest lanes. 3 and a half stars.
charles leclerc: i stopped paying attention to anything that was happening bc he was hot. i'd try to talk and make a joke and he'd laugh but i can tell it went over his head. drives a bit faster than expected and before you can tell there is a speedometer he already passed it. arrive on time. 5 stars.
carlos sainz: polite. hi hello. would ignore me when i said i preferred a certain path. would lowkey be the right call after we heard about a car crash on the radio (he listens to the news). arrive 1 min late i think. 4 stars bc i didn't forget he ignored me anyway.
lewis hamilton: i just know he leaves his car to open the door. he'd say hello, i'd say hi, we'd move in and he'd ask if car temperature and the radio are ok. he would also say that he has nice mints and water if i want some. he wouldn't really talk but i'd strike a convo bc he is hot and he'd actually be delightful while we're at it. i'd arrive to my destination 3 min before the prevision because he knows the nice shortcuts. 5 stars i hope i get his number.
george russell: he'd also do the door opening/temperature/radio check routine but i wouldn't want to talk and he'd try to talk just a little bit the same. he is pleasant but a bit awkward. arrive on time. he'd remind me to rate him on uber. 4.5 stars.
daniel ricciardo: super friendly would crack jokes all the way and raise the radio volume if it was a song he liked (i've seen his music taste on instagram and i know i would hate it). having some issues w the gear on his car that's a bit glitchy. arrive a few mins late. 4 stars.
lando norris: hi hello polite, wouldn't talk much which again i don't mind and would to text people at red lights. could make the wrong call on which lane to take. i think i would arrive 1 min late. 4 stars.
fernando alonso: would totally be polite but the second the car was on it was on. drives like he is indeed a race car driver and it shows. would drive on the speed limit and chop through lanes. arrive 1 min early. 4.5 stars i did get early after all.
esteban ocon: totally polite and for some reason would be overly excited about anything. would leave the windows open somehow. drives like he is wearing a suit, would occasionally close down on someone but whatever. arrive a bit late. 4 stars i genuinely can't give less than that to anyone.
pierre gasly: windows down and arm out. polite as well. would ask me if i'm from that area. driver analyst, he would see people do stupid stuff on traffic and say "this guy". arrive a bit late. would also ask me at the end of the drive if i had a phone number. 4 stars i am ashamed to admit i gave him my number.
yuki tsunoda: super sweet, door opener/temperature checker/radio checker as well. super road rage though, everyone is stupid according to him. would even curse a little. arrive a bit late. 4 stars because i am entertained at road ragers.
sebastian vettel: i don't think he'd be a door opener but def a temperature/radio checker. super polite. great music selection, he'd notice i'd be humming to the beatles and we'd strike a convo out of it. talk all the way to the destination about life and family and whatever. arrive a bit early. i'd be sad i love dilf uber drivers. 4.5 stars.
lance stroll: big fuck off car you don't even know how an uber driver can afford. would drive as if he is the only person on the road. polite but just hi hello. would arrive a bit late. 3.5 stars i'm actually confused.
valtteri bottas: polite, i don't think he'd be a temperature checker. radio off - disturbing. wouldn't talk much but would occasionally laugh to himself. efficient. arrive on time. 4 stars.
zhou guanyu: super polite and temperature/radio checker. would have so many gadgets in his car it's crazy. you're pretty sure the leather on the seats wasn't like that originally. would actually ask you if you have a preference in paths. he'd tell you he's just starting in uber. arrive a bit late. 4 stars anyway the car was cute.
kevin magnussen: would cancel the race on me. no stars.
mick schumacher: door opener and everything checker. super polite. would have a picture of his family on the dashboard. i'd try to sneak a convo on his dog and show pics of mine. first half of the drive he would be horrible but out of the blue he gets super fast and great at driving. he'd be smiling the entire time. a bit weird. arrive just a bit late. 4.5 stars i'd ask him for his phone number.

Of course I can take anyone in a fight but I’m just checking

Pierre Gasly 154 lbs 5’10” I just have a bad feeling I feel like Pierre would be one of those people who became a blackbelt in third grade.
Sergio Pérez 139 lbs 5’8” I would not fight Checo
Fernando Alonso 150 lbs 5’7” I have two inches on him easy win
Charles Leclerc 152 lbs 5’11 Hmmm stats are not in my favor but I just have a feeling that he isn’t a very good fighter. I think I would win through scrappiness.
Lance Stroll 154 lbs 6’0” Again the stats aren’t looking good but I think if I can catch him off guard I would win.
Yuki Tsunoda 127 lbs 5’2” I win.
Daniel Ricciardo 143 lbs 5’11” I feel like this would be very close so I’m just going to give it to me
Esteban Ocon 145 lbs 6’1” HA this boy is so reedy I could just snap him
Max Verstappen 158 lbs 5’11” I AM RUNNING THE OTHER DIRECTION

Lewis Hamilton 156 lbs 5’7” Shorty will for sure lose
Mick Schumacher 149 lbs 5’9” I win again simply bc he seems too nice to fight well
Sebastian Vettel 141 lbs 5’9” He would either be very pacifist or he would run me over with the James Bond car
Carlos Sainz 141 lbs 5’10” He would kill me :(
George Russell 154 lbs 6’1” Unfortunately I cannot think of a way for me to win this one
Kimi Räikkönen 154 lbs 5’9” He just has a don’t mess with me aura and therefore I would not mess with him
Valtteri Bottas 152 lbs 5’8” I win

𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟙 𝔾𝕣𝕚𝕕 𝕠𝕟 : ℙ𝕝𝕒𝕪𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔸𝕞𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝕦𝕤
Tumblr media
( this is totally based on my assumptions so don’t take it so seriously )
✦ Lewis Hamilton ↣ He was invited by the younger guys to play with them, he ain’t the best at it but he is good at doing his tasks fast, he likes the game and is planning on playing it again.
✦ Valterri Bottas ↣ Val was also called by one of the youngsters, I’m not sure who but defiantly not George, he was the second to die in almost every round.
✦ Max Verstappen ↣ He fought with George for the dark blue character, and he was pissed when in the next round he was the first person George killed, so every time he was the impostor he killed George first, which made easy for the others to know when he was the impostor.
✦ Sergio Pérez ( Checo) ↣ He didn’t really know much about the game , he knew his son liked it , so little Checo was his partner in crime all along.
✦ Lance Stroll ↣ Lance was exited when the younger guys called him, he was surprised that most of the grid was there, he wasn’t the most skilled player but he could hold a poker voice for two seconds before cracking up and laughing, when he was the impostor .
✦ Sebastian Vettel ↣ Seb came prepared, as always, he had studied tactics about the game and the mechanics of it on the internet when he was invited to play with the kids. He does have the best instinct when doing detective work, and he can be as manipulative as Little finger ( game of thrones character ) when he is the impostor , he is confirmed the best player between the “older” guys .
✦ Lando Norris ↣ He has played this game a hundred times but always when he goes for the kill it seems that someone walks in on him and he is caught on the act, he killed Max first one time and he received a very long voice message telling how Max wasn’t expecting to be betrayed by him and that he was reevaluating their friendship.
✦ Daniel Ricciardo ↣ Dany boy here had played the game before, not as much as some of the 20 year olds but he knew the mechanics, so he was also very slick when killing someone, he is good at this more than the others realize.
✦ Charles Leclerc ↣ He got over exited the first time he got to be the impostor, so much he left his microphone open.
✦ Carlos Sainz ↣ He had the chance to kill Lando when he was in the cameras but he didn’t, he didn’t have the balls to do it, he killed Charles who was in the reactor instead.
✦ Fernando Alonso ↣ Nando has a problem with the tasks, he doesn’t understand how to do any of them, and usually he gets killed half of the way so he contributed a lot for the impostor’s side because he just gives up and doesn’t do his tasks.
✦ Esteban Ocon ↣ He doesn’t know where the button of report is, and he usually is the one who shouts before he dies even if his microphone is closed, Pierre asked him if it was his sister who shouted .
✦ Yuki Tsunoda ↣ Little Yuki is always cursing, when he can’t do a task , when he gets killed, when he enters in “friendly altercation” when someone acuses him of being suspicious.
✦ Pierre Gasly ↣ He is just here for the lols, he is here to laugh, partly at Yuki getting into fights, partly for Daniel’s dirty jokes from fifth grade, Esteban screaming at anyone who gets close to him or at Max holding grudges.
✦ George Russell ↣ George is a good player, but usually when the reactor is having a meltdown or the oxygen is going out, don’t count on him anymore, he doesn’t leave his tasks for anything even when he is killed he hopes his body is not found so he can complete his tasks.
✦ Nicholas Latifi ↣ He is just here for the funzies, he is thrilled he has been invited, and he doesn’t need anything more than that .
✦ Antonio Giovinazzi ↣ Gio tried his best but he still is not the best at this game specially because he gets lost when they change maps so he just waits around until Kimi comes around to pick him up .
✦ Kimi Räikkönen ↣ Kimi really didn’t want to be here, but his wife Minttu thought it would be a great idea for him to socialize, he ends up not doing much, no one has the balls to kill him so he just takes care of Antonio and that’s it .
✦ Mick Schumacher ↣ Everyone things it’s his first time playing the game, and he plays the role of a rookie so well, they don’t even realize he is insanely good at it, he has the best moves, but he keeps this information for himself , and no one suspects him to be the impostor until it’s to late.
✦ Nik*ta M#zepi ↣ He wasn’t invited .

Mexico City Grand Prix Review
It was all about Lap 1 of the Grand Prix really, as it was so hard to overtake after that, and the pendulum kept swinging in what has been an incredible season of F1!
In hindsight, Red Bull should have been pleased to lock out the 2nd row of the grid in qualifying, as if they had got pole, with their lack of straight line speed, they surely would have been swamped down to Turn 1. Instead, though, it was Max who got the perfect slipstream, and out braked the Mercedes to get the lead. From then on, there was no stopping him, as he had the best pace by far out there. It is crazy to think that Verstappen is actually starting to dominate the championship, and if Baku and Hungary had gone differently, the title could be almost wrapped up! Perez drove his heart out, and did very well to pressurise Hamilton, but the dirty air was too much for him in the end. I am glad that Checo has turned a corner with the car, which has helped the team massively in the constructors’ standings. Even better, was seeing him on the podium at home, a well deserved one for a fan favourite driver.
It turns out it was a blip for Red Bull on Saturday, but you cannot write the rollercoaster of emotions that occurred in the Mercedes garage over those few days. The dejection of practice, and seemingly being nowhere, to all of a sudden get one over the rivals, and look to have a chance at the win, then for it all to go wrong in the 1st kilometre of racing, and lose even more points to Red Bull. They just lacked downforce all weekend it seems, as their straight line speed was mega, yet it was outweighed massively in the 2nd and 3rd sector. The season isn’t over; however, Mercedes needs to get winning soon to stop their run of titles ending! Lewis did what you expect of him really, by maximising what he had, and withstood the pressure from Perez. You have to feel for Bottas, who was brilliant in qualifying, for it all to come to nothing in the race, and be stuck behind the guy who took him out, for most of the race.
This race showed that AlphaTauri should at least be near to the battle for 3rd in the constructors, if they had got their act together sooner, and if Tsunoda had been able to deliver on his promise better. No one could lay a glove on Gasly in the race, as he continues to excel in F1. They were helped by the Honda being brilliant at altitude this weekend, although that car is clearly great overall too! Yuki was unlucky to get hit on Lap 1, especially given his pace all weekend.
Ferrari pretty much did what they set out to do in Mexico, as they surged ahead of McLaren, and build further towards 2022. Sainz got unlucky with the Turn 1 spin, in that he fell behind Leclerc, and had to use team orders to get by and try to attack Gasly, which came to nothing in the end. Ferrari do look like the favourites now for 3rd place.
It was an unfortunate mistake for Ricciardo to make into the 1st corner, as he locked up on the inside and ploughed into Bottas. It completely ruined all the good work he had done over the weekend, and should arguably have been a penalty. Norris did a solid job to fight from the back to score a point, but it was peanuts compared to their rivals!
Age was clearly on their side in this race, as the older statesmen of Vettel, Alonso and Raikkonen all managed to come away from here with points. They all had great pace, and weren’t holding anyone up, which for the Alfa Romeo is great news, given their toils this year. Alonso was able to go a race without causing any track limits controversy, which is equally impressive! Vettel was able to use the overcut to his advantage, as Giovinazzi got stuck behind traffic following his pitstop, which utterly ruined his race! Ocon and Stroll couldn’t reach the points from their lowly starting spots.
Haas had another difficult weekend, with Mick not able to keep up the promise he showed on Friday, before being taken out in Turn 1 in the race. As for Williams, they were nowhere too, which is unexpected for the team who have done so well on occasions this year! Can Brazil be a different story?
Sadly, we didn’t get a stunner on our return to the Mexican capital, however there is a better chance of some action at the iconic Interlagos circuit, and with the final sprint race of the year happening there, who knows what could happen! Can Max and Lewis keep their 100% record up, of coming together on the Sunday after the Sprint race?

Expectations and predictions for the 2021 season of Formula 1
Intro
As of writing, we are five days to seeing the cars out on track in Bahrain. Many changes happened from where we left off in Abu Dhabi, specifically driver changes, team changes and my overall expectations for the year.
Driver changes
Many changes in the driver pairings for this year. Daniel Ricciardo to McLaren, Carlos Sainz Jr to Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel to Aston Martin, and Sergio 'Checo' Perez to Red Bull are the key driver swaps. We also say farewell to Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen as they venture to Indycar and IMSA respectively. Alex Albon has been demoted to the position of reserve driver for Red Bull while Daniil Kvyat moves to Alpine, as a test driver.
Plenty of new faces as well as one new but very familiar face. The rookies of the 2021 season are Yuki Tsunoda in Alpha Tauri, Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin in Haas and two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso in Alpine.
Having Alonso back in F1 was never quite a huge surprise since everyone expected him to return sooner or later. Personally, I'm glad that he's back in the cockpit and excited to see his performance this year with Alpine.
Now back to the actual rookies, Schumacher, Tsunoda and Mazepin finished in the top five of the 2020 Formula 2 standings in first, third and fifth respectively.
Schumacher and Mazepin in Haas came as quite a surprise. At the end of 2020, Haas was in terrible shape so having two rookies with minimal experience in an F1 car brings many questions : Is this what Haas really needs? Can the two rookies bring out the best in the 2021 car? Will the fresh slate be what Haas needs to get back on their feet?
Enough about Haas, let's talk about the drivers themselves. Mick Schumacher, 2020 F2 champion, member of the Ferrari Driver Academy and son of seven time world champion, Michael Schumacher. He is a talented driver and it's not just because of his last name. Speedy starts and smart, tactical braking are some key attributes of Schumacher's driving style. He is a very capable driver and fought hard against Vice Champion and fellow academy driver, Callum Ilott. The world definitely has its eyes on him.
Nikita Mazepin, fifth in the championship and hailing from Russia. His performance in 2020 was quite a surprising one since his team, Hitech GP, was a brand new team in F2 and he had a pretty underwhelming 2019 season. Mazepin has a very aggressive driving style and questionable on track movement. It doesn't get any better off track because he has plenty of controversies following him. (Topics surrounding him are pretty sensitive so I will not cover them here because I aim to speak about his driving ability without prejudice and bias.) Expectations both on track and off track are high for him.
Yuki Tsunoda, member of Honda Formula Dream Project and Red Bull Junior Team, winner of the 2020 Anthoine Hubert award (Rookie of the Year), and youngest driver on the 2021 grid hails from Japan. A lot of expectations on him in the Alpha Tauri car as he replaces long time Red Bull academy driver Daniil Kvyat. With a new RB junior driver making the step up to F1, there are many doubts as to which driver is capable of matching number one Red Bull driver, Max Verstappen. Many have come and failed but Tsunoda seems to have good prospects of being the one seeing how he is able to quickly adapt to new cars. Very excited to see his performance this year.
Team changes
Two teams have had major rebranding as mentioned earlier. Racing Point will now be known as Aston Martin Cognizant while Renault is now Alpine. Some key changes that come with the name change is colour. Aston Martin will race with British racing green colour and Alpine will pride themselves with the colours of the French flag. These two have had quite the battles in the last few years for the "Best of the Rest" position in the constructors championship. Very excited to see them go head to head on track especially since they will both have one relatively young driver (Lance Stroll vs Esteban Ocon) and extremely experienced world champions (Sebastian Vettel vs Fernando Alonso).
Expectations
Now, the moment you've been waiting for.... My predictions for the constructor championships~ (no driver standings because honestly it can be pretty unpredictable)
Team Standings
Mercedes
Red Bull
McLaren
Aston Martin
Alpine
Alpha Tauri
Ferrari
Williams
Alfa Romeo
Haas
I believe that a completely fresh driver lineup at Haas will do them some good but the car has already been built so there's not much other than to build data and learn from there. Hopeful for them in 2022, not so much for 2021....
The reason why Alfa Romeo is below Williams is simply because I am unsure of the reliability and strength of the Ferrari-powered engines. An engine can really make or break the car and since. Ferrari has been going down, I think they might lose out to the Mercedes-powered Williams.
Williams have been improving pretty rapidly and I trust in their upward growth and potentially see points this year! There have been a bunch of Q2 appearances for George Russell and Nicholas Latifi has finished P11 a few times, I really think 2021 will be the oasis in the desert for them.
Ferrari is just not doing too well in my opinion. I love Ferrari and have supported them since I first started watching F1 but whatever is going on with the car has been really sad. Not sure how good of a chassis they can come up with since they wanted to try something new this year which is very bold of them. With Leclerc and Sainz, they are both really good drivers and have. their merits but they tend to make poorly planned moves and pretty bad luck. So yeah, P7 for them.
Alpha Tauri with Gasly and Tsunoda is a superb combination. The Alpha Tauri car is also very competitive and with the right circumstances even won a race! They have potential to fight for that P3 in the constructors but not too sure about the Honda engine as compared to the Mercedes engines and Alpine.
Now this is where the competition gets tight. Honestly, this could be anyone's game but I decided to put them as McLaren, Aston Martin, and Alpine respectively. McLaren has made leaps and bounds in terms of progress. Since 2019, they've gotten 3 podiums and that was with a Renault engine. Now. imagine how many more they can get with a Mercedes engine. That's where the 2021 McLaren car comes in, along with the experience of Daniel Ricciardo. Aston Martin will follow closely behind but I think they might have a slow start to the season and then pull in big points towards the end. Lastly, Alpine in P6. I think they're great but the team has a very strange power play since they don't actually have a team principal. They are also the only one with a Renault engine so they might lose out a bit more than the others.
Obviously, the top two are Mercedes and Red Bull respectively. I don't think I need to clarify further. Even though Mercedes have shown some struggle during Winter Testing, I think they will have everything settled by the first race in Bahrain. Red Bull might be much closer in competition to Mercedes than previous years if Verstappen doesn't have a bad luck streak of getting knocked out by other people and Perez is able to withstand the pressure of being Red Bull's second driver and is able to hone the car to his strengths as he is quite a consistent driver.
