Okay but like it makes no sense for steve to talk about peggy in the support group in endgame, like genuinely makes no sense. i know that marvel put it there to remind people of steve's "straightness" and how much he "loves" peggy. but it makes no sense, because even if that was the scenario, he wouldn't talk about peggy, he would talk about the people he lost in the snap. Bucky, sam, t'challa, wanda etc. So why would he not talk about them? well the only logical answer is that he can't talk about them because it just hurts too damn much, so he picks a safe topic, that wont have him crumbling to the floor AKA. peggy. Therefore we can deduce from this, that peggy is not as important to steve as anyone he lost in the snap, and marvel's attemps at proving steve's love for peggy, just prove how much he doesnt love her. Her character is a mess and they don't know how to deal with it. She was a terrible love interest on CA1 (that bullshit with the shield and Steve wouldn't had been forgiven if she was a man double standards right there, while they barely developed interactions between them because it was clear she was planned to be something temporal), then they had brought her again (CAWS) and again (AntMan) and again (AOU) and again (Endgame) to become a consolation price for Steve in the last one (she doesn't say a word in the whole movie and they erased her whole character development of her own series for that) to end with the laziest episode of What If (they didn't even adapt the story for her, just copy pasted Steve's one, like are you telling us that Peggy didn't do a thing for woman's rights after she got the serum? Seriusly?) with that story continue to show how she doesn't have any personal relationship outside Steve ( She and Sharon didn't even interact once, and then in what if they showed us she was all ready to leave her friendship with Natasha to return to Steve) so she isn't even proper character yet they expect us to care? To give a fuck about her? To not be bothered about she is going to appear on big screen before Sam does? To ignore her flaws, from hiring nazis to being an incompetent Shield director (being oblivious to Isaiah's situation or not having a clue about what their partners where doing with Hank's investigations) ?
