icky emoji combos to look out for :(
-🌈🍖 (proship)
-🍓🍰 (proship)
↑Someone who supports/likes romantic relationships in media that is considered "problematic" as well as supporting fanworks about said pairings.
-🌸🌙 (comship)
-🕊️🍋 (comship)
↑Similar to Proship, someone who indulges in complicated ships, things that are socially/morally unacceptable in reality, they do not endorse these things irl, but still triggering.
-🍋🌈 (profic)
↑These people don't really care what others ship- which is fine, they basically just stay out of the way of others, and don't really argue over their ships being correct, or others being incorrect (while this is probably one of the least bad ones, that still means they are okay with icky/illegal ships)
-🐰🎀 (l0licon)
↑A type of media fixated on younger looking women in a sexual or erotic sense, probably the people who say "but she's a god!!!!" when she looks like 5.
-🍯🧸 (sh0tacon)
↑Someone who is attracted to fictional characters under the age of 16... so fictional p3dos. Icky.
-🕊️⚰️ (deaddove)
↑Enjoyer of darker media, things that are violent or vile in general.. sometimes being things like necr0ph!l!a.
-🥀☁️ (n0n-c0n)
↑Enjoys fictional tropes with lack of consent; like r@pe.
-📚☕️ (agegap)
↑Pretty self explanatory, they usually enjoy ships with a biiiig age gap, the reason this is problematic is because usually one of the people in the pairing is super young.
-🌸💫 (gr00ming)
↑Someone who enjoys grooming in media, essentially, grooming is preparing someone younger for sexual purposes, or abuse.
.
.
.
These emoji combos are associated with things like pro shippers or dark media lovers, if you don't want to interact with these icky people, look out for these !
Here are some ANTI emoji combos 2 use!

Help.
Someone did not seriously add a trope claiming that in Japan and China, sessrin is as or even “more popular” than Inuyasha/Kagome.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyone have the link to when Japanese reviews hating on the show and particularly sessrib got posted? I specifically remember Japanese reviews who referred to sessrib as “terrifying!” lmao. Of course there are Japanese fans of the ship, but there are certainly many who disproved of it as well, and they deserve better than to have Western twats claim that because they saw Japanese fans of sessrib, that must mean that all of Japan and China supports them, hell they even love it more than inukag didn’t ya know!!!11
I can’t fucking deal with these people anymore, lmao, why are they like this.

My father has worked for the DoD since the mid 90s, and most animes that get network time slots in the US have funding from them. It's why most animes that get that kind of release in the US are fighting/militaristic animes. (The first one he told me he helped with was the Gundam Wing dub.) I'm messaging you this information because Yashahime ticks all the boxes for a series they would've funded. The main one is Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship. They push age gap relationships in media when women's and children's right activism starts to get more attention. When they have more rights, women are less likely to get married and have children, while the children who are born have more stable homes and family finances, which makes them less likely to join the military. There was more than just the SessRin relationship. The entire series was nothing but propaganda poorly glued together. (Especially the end when they discussed children being on a battlefield, that scene was so obvious.) I've been wanting to reach out and share this for a while, but I honestly wasn't sure anyone would believe me. With the public becoming more knowledgeable about government and military propaganda in the last few months, I think people are ready for it.
Thank you very much for sending this to me, anon. I want you to know that I believe you.
Many people - not just antis - have said over and over again that fiction does affect reality. Of course fiction is used to promote certain agendas, of course fiction is used to promote certain values, certain relationships , certain situations, - both for good and for bad. Whoever knows about marketing won't let me lie, fiction is used both to generate rejection and acceptance and desire for particular things. Perhaps we would do well to ask ourselves why certain shows, certain books, certain music, certain movies or fiction-in any format, not just anime-receive budget and others do not. Come on, there are even studies and articles about this. It's 2024, people who insist that fiction does not affect reality aren't in reality themselves to begin with.
So Anon, thanks again for your ask, and if you like to send more information about this, it's welcome here :)

Oh, ew. Vile. Vio Shimokura, one of the Buddy Daddies writers, has some lolicon shit that they've liked over on Twitter.
More info, but no extreme details, under the Read More:
Like, lolicon impreg stuff (it was...fanart?...for the series Onimai, which is a whole separate topic of convo)... Another image they liked was of a five year old V-tuber (fanart?) in a bikini and asking if Mr. Lolicon thinks they look good or whatever...UGH. it's disgusting and makes me want to puke.
🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
Thankfully, there is no liked artwork involving Miri in that way (as far as I've seen, I didn't look through all of their likes though). Only some official posts and such. But it is still creepy to see that they've liked images of real life toddler clothes (the post says in JP, "Aren't they (the clothes) cute?"), women in Lolita outfits (which, just on its own is no problem, but with the other things this guy has liked...), and images of women's asses and posing sexy, etc....Ugh.
So, even seeing them like the official BD's stuff creeps me out right now...
The only episode that they wrote, according to ANN, was Episode 12. Looking at this guy's likes, it is clear that they like women, so it isn't that surprising that that Kazuki line popped up in Episode 12.
They worked on the series composition alongside Yuuko Kakihara, but when it comes to actual scripting, it seems they did the last episode only.
The bulk of the series writing was by Yuuko Kakihara (Ep. 1-6, 9 & 10), while Episodes 7, 8, and 11 were written by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, so I'm largely just going to be ignoring the fact that this creep contributed to the creation of Buddy Daddies. It seems they contributed mostly to the technical aspects: the composition, more than anything else.
Anyway, I shouldn't have looked. I just wanted to see if they liked any Kazurei stuff. 😫
Time for me to add another log to the "anime has a pedo problem" fire and to bring out the brain bleach:

my take on the fiction vs reality debate when it comes to being sexually attracted to young characters, presented with poorly edited pictures. eat my ass out in the replies but before you do, just know that having trauma doesn’t excuse any weird behavior.

why is it always this guy. uh, hissyfit was not used to refer to a autistic meltdown. i think its kinda ableist to associate sensory overload to being a horrible person. the word hissy fit does not have ableist origins, if anything it’s sexist (derives from hysterical and/or hussy). i had just been sent a death threat so thats what this anon was about by the way.
fellas, is it ableist to say that the guy who just (checks notes) threatened to murder you and use your intestines to hang your family is having an outburst?
talking about ableism, i can take screenshots too! seen a lot more along the lines of calling antis mentally rslured, delusional, unable to differentiate real from fake, paranoid, etc. but here are some examples that i can pull up with fair ease

Opinion: Lolicon/shotacon isn’t pedophilia, but it’s still bad.
Loli/shotacon isn't pedophilia, as it doesn’t involve the attraction to real-life children. Regardless, it’s still disgusting, as adults should not be attracted to or sexualizing minors in any context. At the same time, though, it’s not okay to say that the attraction between real children and fictional children is the exact same. I am definitely not one of those people who is like, "It's just fiction!"; I literally have spoken out against people who spew that rhetoric (like comshippers, for example). However, to say that the attraction towards fictional children is completely equivalent to the attraction towards real children oversimplifies a complex issue. Saying that a paraphilic disorder that involves the attraction to real children and typically results in permanent harm towards real children is the same as an attraction towards fictional children that is still disgusting and potentially harmful is the very same is not only regressive but is damaging to CSA victims. I am in no way in favor of lolicon or shotacon; it sexualizes minors, often romanticizes CSA, can be used to groom vulnerable individuals, can offer a safe space for genuine pedophiles or give them free content to get off to, and can cause distress to survivors of child sexual abuse or just people who find that content rightfully upsetting. So, while I absolutely do not support lolicon or shotacon for the harm it inflicts and the inherent immorality I find in it, I think it's erroneous to assume that all individuals who consume this content are pedophiles or support child exploitation. It's a false equivalence to claim that people who experience attraction towards real children and typically harm them are the same people that do not experience attraction towards real children but do to fictional children. Many individuals engage with these materials without any attraction towards actual children. That does not mean that lolicon, shotacon, and other genres that sexualize minors are okay, as they are not; it just means that if we wish to educate pro/comshippers, lolicons, shotacons, dead-dove, and profic people on the potential harm and ethical concerns surrounding genres such as lolicon, we need to approach the conversation with nuance and understanding instead of relying on logical fallacies. If we wish to be taken seriously, we must engage in respectful and informed discussions that address the complex issues at hand. What I see a lot of people do on my (the anti-loli/shotacon and anti-pro/comship) side is simply refer to people who engage with this content as pedophiles. While it is important to acknowledge the potential harm and ethical concerns surrounding genres like lolicon, it is crucial to avoid labeling individuals who engage with this content as pedophiles without concrete evidence. By resorting to such generalizations, we undermine the opportunity for meaningful dialogue and understanding. Instead, we should focus on raising awareness about the potential impact of these genres on society and promoting responsible consumption of media.
Tldr: Lolicon, shotacon, and other forms of media that sexualize minors are unethical and deleterious, but not everyone who consumes such content is a pedophile. Calling every single person who likes that content a pedophile is unfair, fallacious, and intellectually dishonest. We can point out the harms of such content without resorting to addressing the people who enjoy it as people who like real children.

Never forget when Sunrise said they would release a Season 2 guidebook with the promotional text that it would “look back on Inuyasha and The Final Act to explore how the parental generations met and fell in love”.
You know, when Rin was a 7-8 year old child?
I remember thinking that “what, are they gonna retcon OG Rin to having been a teenager in Inuyasha now?” since retconning shit or just bs-ing the OG lore is what Sunrise does.
But nope, the guidebook came out and it shows Rin with Sesshomaru just like she were in Inuyasha, a 7-8 year old child.
By Sunrise’s own mouth (or whoever they hired to promote the guidebook with their permission), Sesshomaru fell for Rin when she was 7.
And considering Yashahime never gave any other explanation or flashback as to how they happened, it basically confirms the OG anime really is meant to be seen as sessrin’s “backstory”.
So, anyone still trying to say sessrin isn’t pedophilia at this point? 🤡🤡🤡 I'm all ears.

Am I the only one creeped out by the acceptance in the Pokémon fandom to crush on the literal child characters? I remember seeing a video and suddenly the guy mentions his video game crushes, and he mentions Misty and says he still crushes on her and apologises for crushing on someone slightly older, but not for Misty 😐😧🤢
No, you are not the only one anon. Many Pokémon fans (and fans of many other series where this happens) find this creepy.
I remember I was following a Youtube channel until this person posted a 'bingo' where, depending on your birthday month, you got a "waifu". But, among those "waifus" he put Misty and Himawari (Naruto's daughter). But aren't both characters canonically 10 years old?? Why is this 30+ year old man doing this?
It should be noted that the other characters he added were adult women (like Mai from Yugioh). Why is someone mixing children and adults as if both options were fine as a couple? 🤨 Perhaps the worst part was reading some comments from adult men saying 'I got Himawari, I love l_o-l-is'. Instant unfollow from my part.

important psa regarding a dc comics fan artist
to any of my followers and especially people who like dc/wonder woman/teen titans, youve probably heard of g|**-ch*n or seen her work, she draws animated inspired art. i really wouldn't call it that since it's most likely tracing, whatever. but a lot of her stuff sexualizes women and especially underage girls (supergirl, batgirl, starfire, raven, the list goes on). and boys. she's apparently also one of those perverted degenerates who sexualize the de-aged wonder woman from the JLU episode "kids stuff" and has also applied this art style to other female heroines that weren't in the episode.
gee, she sounds very dedicated to her "art." anyone else seeing a pattern?
if you look at her accounts here you can see her complain about being reported on dA for this kind of thing, as well as reblogging weird shit like "as anime gets older, the girls get younger" and "dating women is like squaring numbers. if they're under 13, just do them in your head."
want proof?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"but lolis aren't children, they're just drawings!" cope and seethe pedo, because at the end of the day, lolis are drawings of people that have underage bodies.
"but it's not hurting anyone because it's not real!" shut up. you hurt children just by mere reason of your existence. get out of our spaces.
i say this as someone who was unfortunate enough to be exposed to her art as a young girl online and then realized what she was later on. i tried to see if other people had the same concerns, but couldn't find any. someone has to do it, so im posting this as a psa here. it is not acceptable or okay to sexualize kids in a comics/ animated medium that can be found by younger viewers. don't repost her art, don’t share it around or give her a platform. do not give that waste of oxygen another second of your attention.
because really there's only one group of people that like that kind of art. she might make "normal" drawings, but that doesn't detract from what kind of sicko she is. don't let any of that fool you, and trust your gut if you see something questionable online.
