sleeping with the Sully Boys!
featuring: Lo’ak, Neteyam.
warnings: none :)
Tumblr media
Neteyam
He doesn’t move, like he will do anything to not wake you up.
You fall asleep on his chest, so every 2 minutes he gives a kiss to your forehead.
He softly plays with your hair.
You were sleeping on Neteyam’s chest, his hands on your waist and arm. He really adores the look on your face when you are asleep, peacefully.
You start to stirr a little. “You okay love?” He asks, squeezing you forearm. You lift your head to look at him, “hmm?” you ask looking sleepy. “Nothing, just go back to sleep.” He kisses your forehead, you put your head on his chest again.
He usually falls asleep on your shoulder, but sometimes he falls asleep on your lap.
Him always holding you close.
Lo’ak
You fall asleep on his chest or his arms.
He tries so hard not so fall asleep, but he can’t resist so his head falls un top of yours.
Gives you kisses before you guys sleep.
Tries so hard not to wake you up when you fall asleep on him. But he will fail, ofc.
You’re sleeping on Lo’ak’s chest, peacefully. Until he tries to move a little. That movements wakes you up, “Lo’ak,” you ask sleepily . “I’m sorry yawne. My leg was going numb.” He tries to defend himself. “Its okay lo’ak.” You say softly.
He holds me from my waist to pull me up, my head on his neck. He hugs me really close, “You can go back to sleep.” He kisses my cheek. I give him a kiss on the neck as a response.
Sleeping with him is heaven. Really comfortable and cute.
He loves sleeping on your lap. Your hands on his hair, playing with his braids.
His tail wrapping around your leg. Hands holding eachother.

Adopted Spider Headcanons (Metkayina Edition)
I've been reading fics where Spider's adopted by Ronal and Tonowari the past couple days and now I'm obsessed. The problem is that I mostly write angst and I really wanna read hurt/comfort, lol.
I feel like the typical/common way that I see Spider get taken in is basically him doing his little beach bum shit after everything and slowly getting adopted into their family. And I eat it up. Every. Single. Time.
Spider: *Building a campfire, roasting his own food* Ronal/Tonowari/Tsireya or Anoung: *Why is the Sully's adoptive son alone on the beach?* *Oh well, mine now*
I feel like Ronal would definitely be way at first, she's made it no secret that she strongly dislikes Sky People. But, I'd imagine that eventually, she comes to see him not just as a human, but as a child. And a child who is alone and in need of help.
Aounung would probably be the same. I have this idea of him giving Spider a hard time (after all the carnage/damage/dead people have been handled). Like, trying to mess with him as much as possible, just being an asshole. And then, maybe Spider goes under for a long time while Aounung is on the beach weaving or something. And, even though Spider has a mask and can breath underwater as well as he does above it, Aounung somehow forgot that and freaks, thinking the human has drowned.
Aounung tossed his half-repaired net aside, diving into the water. He whipped around, eyes catching on the mess of dirty blond. Pushing further, he grabbed the boy by the armpits, shooting to the surface and pulling the human onto land. He flipped him over, meeting confused eyes as he placed a hand on his chest. He was breathing fine, not even panting from being under for so—
Spider's mask glinted in the sun. Aounung was an idiot.
"Are you . . . okay?" The smaller boy asked hesitantly, making no move to sit up.
"You were under for a long time." He mumbled, pulling away.
Spider's face split into a grin. "Did you— did you think I was— "
"Quiet." He hissed, standing up. "We will never speak of this again."
Spider's laughter followed him as he stormed away.
I feel like with Tsireya, she would've immediately been all over him. Like, this is Spider, Lo'ak's supposed best friend. The human boy who acted just like he was Na'vi. It probably started mostly as curiosity, but I think that after seeing how the Sully's interacted with Spider, she'd be confused about his place, his family. If Spider didn't sleep in the Sully's marui, didn't eat with them— then where did he do those things?
Tsireya glided along the water, Lo'ak a few feet from her. "Why doesn't Spider stay in your marui?"
Lo'ak raised a brow. "Uh . . . I don't know. He lives with the humans, I guess. Always has."
"But . . . the humans left after helping Kiri. They have not returned."
"They . . . they haven't?" He cleared his throat. "I'm sure Dad has it handled. There's probably a new shack or something for him."
Consider Spider's mask running low and there isn't a spare anywhere. As a kid, he never was gone from the shack long enough for his battery to run low and during his time with the recoms, there were always spares in someone's pack when he needed it. Idk how long the masks last, but for my own sake, I'm going to say Spider got a new one the day of the battle and it lasted him about a week. Or maybe, he managed to pillage one as the ship went down so he's on his second and it's like two weeks or so.
I think that when he saw the little red light flashing, a small beep-beep sounding, that he'd probably be like a kid who forgot there was a test. He'd just panic. But, I imagine he'd also be scared to bother the Sully's by telling them, so he'd spend the next hour searching the village (discreetly) to see if there were any pilfered batteries or masks left behind when the humans visited. Let's say he has two hours from when the mask starts flashing to change it out. And where, oh where, does he wind up when he's got a half-hour left?
Spider was not panicking. Because, when a human panicked, they breathed faster and wasted more air. Norm told him that, so it had to be true. But, he'd checked everywhere he could think of and . . . nothing. There was no shack, no Norm or Max to run to before his timer ran out. No humans. Only him. And in a matter of . . . fuck, twenty minutes, he was going to die just like a human.
He sat slumped on the beach, looking out into the water and trying his best not to openly sob. He didn't want to die crying like a little baby. It was not working out well for him. At least, he'd have a good view when he died.
"Child? What is wrong?"
Spider flinched, looking up with wide eyes at the clan leader. He'd only talked to Tonowari once, when Jake had introduced him. Of course, given his spectacular luck, the man would find him when he was on death's doorstep.
With a sniffle, he held up his beeping pack. "It's almost out. Twenty minutes."
The man frowned down, grasping the device carefully. "And that is why you're so upset? Because, you don't wish to go into the village for a new one? Did something happen? Someone make you feel unwelcome?"
"There is no new mask." There was also no home to go back to. "That was my only one."
With a cut-off gasp, he pulled Spider to his feet. He marched the boy through the village and into what he recognized as the healer's marui. The Tsahik was mixing something, but she stood as soon as they entered.
"Tonowari?" She asked, stepping closer. "What happened? Is he hurt?"
"His mask, where's the spare?"
Wordlessly, the woman pulled a mask from one of the many baskets, easily connecting the tubing and turning it on. Like, she'd done it before. Spider had no time to ask why she had such a thing before she was right in front of him.
"Take a deep breath." She ordered, unlatching the straps of his mask before pulling it off. Just as quickly, the new one was secured. Spider hadn't even moved.
I think that even before deciding to adopt Spider, Tonowari and Ronal would probably make sure he had spare masks and check what food he could/couldn't eat. Like, as soon as they realize the Sully's aren't caring for him, they'd probably subconsciously take responsibility for him. Because, he was just a kid, really. And kids were clumsy and careless and needed help, needed parents. Anoung and Tsireya, despite being independent and skilled, still needed their parents sometimes. Let their mother do their hair and insisted on their father de-gutting their catches. And Spider— Spider is fragile. He's skilled and smart and quick on his feet, but he's a human surrounded by Na'vi. Not to mention, one wrong move and he's left with a cracked mask. And what if he eats the wrong food, mistakes one fruit for another and ends up poisoned?
This ended up way longer that I thought it would be, lol. But, I really love these types of fics and if anyone has any recs or wants to hear more, my comment section is open. XD

Ooooh I got an avatar request ;]
The reader has been friends with the sully kids for a while now but hasn't seen them ever since they moved to the metkayina clan. After hearing that kiri had fallen unconscious, she begs norm and max to accompany them to the islands, because she's worried about her friend. It pretty much follows the same as in the movie, they arrive, do a check up, find nothing and then get kicked out by neytiri. Reader is just chilling outside since she isn't allowed really allowed to be in the same room as kiri, but doesn't want to leave until she knows her firend is awake and healthy. The adults are talking with Jake, she's alone and that's where aonung and his gang arrive. Drama ensues. The conflict can be about literally anything and can end however you want, but there needs to be scene where the reader leaves a strong impression.
Sorry if the req I a bit long and thx <3
Protective
PROTECTIVE NETEYAM X HUMAN READER
Tumblr media
When you had heard of kiri fainting underwater, it took you only a few seconds to grab your things and go beg norm to let you come with him. He was against it, of course, as he knew how the metkayinan people were with humans. But, you remained adamant, being that kiri was one of the best friends you'd ever had in your life, if she was hurt, you needed to be there. You wouldnt take no for an answer. Norm knew that.
so , you ended up sitting on a helicopter that was so old and beat up you thought it might fall out of the sky. Strapped down by a seatbelt, watching the waves pass by below. It made you nervous. The water, that is. Growing up in the forests with the sullys and norm, there was a lack of large bodies of water, the biggest was the falls under the hallelujah mountains, and even those were pretty little.
Also, on a more important note, you didn't know how to swim.
You don't know why, ever since you were little, water just freaked you out. Jake and neytiri saw that, and figured that you wouldn't need the skill of swimming, as you lived in the forest. Not out at sea. How ironic is that.
So, in your anxious state, you pulled at the wires of the mask, and tapped your nails at the metal of the chair. Staring down at how the waves washed over the ocean floor, unease slowly sunk into your mind, not only because kiri was sick, possibly dying, buut because you felt so out of your element. Norm noticed, but chose not to say anything, chalking it up to the fact that your best friend was in a coma.
When you landed, it only took a few moments to be surrounded with the natives, immediately lo-ak was on top of you in a bone crushing hug, you fell to the ground, and lo-ak proceeded to blow into your neck, tickling you like an older brother bullying his sister . Tuk then piled on top, then kiri, and then neteyam. THe metkayinas around stared at the odd display between human and na-vi. Strange. So strange.
But, a particular group of boys stood front and center, taking more notice than everybody else. They all snickered with eachother, staring at the alien freaks with an actual alien. They had all known of the sully families close association with humans, but bringing them here? And showing affection. Crazy.
“Lo-ak, tuk! Get off of her, now.” Neytiri hissed, pulling the four off of you, dropping them, and then giving you a small hug herself, her touch lingered for a little bit, but you chose not to say anything, neytiri was practically your mother. Hugging was A human tendency you liked, even though they very rarely did it.
Oh god how much you missed these people, you weren't allowed to come with them, mainly because it was dangerous for you to be far away from other humans, lest your mask break and you didnt have a backup, they didn’t want to risk it. But you still loved them so very much, and jumped at the chance to see them.
It didn't take very long for norm to be lead to where kiri was, and along with him, you. The sight of her alone brought so much happiness, you wanted to go up and tackle her, and scream to her about how much you missed her. To gossip about her brothers and others in this new place. THen you remembered she was unconscious, and that someone would probably pounce on you if you tried. A woman was huddled over her, crushing some form of healing herb.
You chose to stand by the doorway, making the active decision not to approach, you were one of the only people in human form here, also the only one without any medical experience, or anything that could help, other than that you were her friend. Norm sent a short glance your way, and then proceeded to approach kiri. You gathered by the door for a little while, then chose to sit outside and watch the water.
You were wary at first, staring at the little fish dancing about, but as norm took a painstakingly long time, it let you warm up to the flowing form of ey-wa. By the time an hour passed, you were lying chest down on the dock, both of your hands in the water, swirling figure eights into the foamy sea. The small sea creatures ebbed and flowed, following your hand , you watched the glittering little white squids play your fingers, they were almost cute.
You'd never seen such creatures before, they were different from any fish you’d ever seen at home, even in the biggest bodies of water. Your eyes followed them as they perked up and down in the water, putting on a show for you. The little squids held your attention so well that you barely even noticed the heavyset footsteps behind you. Not until it was too late.
A large hand hooked around your ankle, and with a swift motion, threw you off the peer, no warning, just a harsh splash as you plunged face first into the water. Shattering your mask along the way.
You hit the water heavy, diving in head first with a bent neck to the point of pain. All of a sudden, panic filled your lungs just as fast as water did, and you forgot all of the things anybody had ever told you about swimming, which already, was very little. You hadn't realized how deep the water really was, and before you knew it, you panicked more. Oh god.
your body Is sinking.
You flung your hands around, thrashing and splashing in the deep water, the fish around you swam around in a circle, seemingly trying to help. The glass that had broken upon impact found it's way into your eyes, and you let out a scream, continuing to thrash around.
Any efforts made to rise back to the surface were beaten by your lack of oxygen, and as the last bubbles of air left your mouth, you choked on your tongue, and began to fully drown. Black spots danced around in your peripheral vision, slowly closing in on you, your throat closed up, and your thrashing began to be much less violent, instead being replaced with small, weak movements.you heard yelling, but it was too far away to understand.
And then it all went blank.
---
“Tell them! Tell them what you told me!” A voice echoed around you. when you came to your senses, and were able to open your eyes, you were sitting in your own puddle of water, wet clothes and wet hair. A salty taste in your mouth. Your head was in Tuk’s lap, and she held an oxygen mask over your mouth and nose, smiling at you goofily when you met her eyes.
Your eyes burned, and you could feel how red and puffy they were without even touching them. You took deep breaths, remembering what it felt like to have all the air in your system sucked out of you, to slowly sink down with the increasing pressure of the water. So, instead of focusing on that, you sat up, locking eyes with neteyam, who was holding anoung by his ear, yelling at tonowari and ronal.
“It was supposed to be a joke- I didn’t think the human would drown!” The teal skinned na-vi slurred out, his mouth was bleeding, and a nasty blue bruise was already beginning to form on his temple. Jake and neytiri just stared at the scene, choosing not to speak, neither of them had ever seen neteyam so… unhinged.
Usually, he was the most perfect oldest child any parent could ask for, following rules, having a kind heart, listening like a puppy. But now. He had a look, more than a look really, his entire posture had changed, he looked uncontrolled, he looked like lo-ak . Neteyam punched that metkayina boy so fast it was uncanny. He looked feral, as the boy glanced between you and anoung, there was a deep ferocity in his gaze.
Even neteyam himself didn’t understand why he was acting like this, but seeing you underwater, and seeing the little pieces of glass from your mask float to the top, seeing you struggle so hard. It brought out something in him, something that made him want to bus anoungs face in. His dad even told him to calm down, but he still punched him in the face so hard it brought stars in his vision.
Nothing they say would change a damn thing. So they stayed quiet.
“The human has a name. What if she had died? What would you have done then? Would it still have been a joke?” Neteyam continued to scream, smashing the back of his head. The Navi boy just looked down in embarrassment, people were staring now. Including You, who was staring wide eyed at neteyam, not knowing wether to be mildly afraid at the sudden change in character for him, or to be happy that he’s so keen on defending you.
“Well, she didn’t, she’s fine.” Anoung replied, shoving off neteyam, who hissed at him in return, you wanted to laugh at how strange the boy you’d known since you were just a baby was acting. He was never so harsh, and he never got into conflict unless lo-ak started it. Was he really going this far for you?
Apparently, yes he was.
“Ill fucking kill you, you fish brained fu-“ neteyam puffed his chest out, curling up his fists and making the motion to run up and sock him in the face, again. Lo-ak, bring the chaotic instigator he is, was of course, cheering his brother on, neytiri hushed him.
This wasn’t good, they had clearly worked so hard to develop their relationship with these people, and you’d crushed it down in a few seconds. So, instead of letting things get worse and making the entire sully family get kicked out, you stood up from your spot, pulling your hand away from Tuk, and slowly walked to neteyam. You seperated the space between the two idiots, and eventually grabbed neteyams hand.
“Neteyam, Stop it. I’m fine.” He scowled at you, breathing heavily, barely able to contain his anger. But he still listened to you anyway, choosing to follow you away as you walked back to kiris hut. His hand found it’s way placed firmly on your shoulder on a protective stance, and he turned around one last time to meet anoungns gaze, smirking at the blood that left his nose and mouth, daring him to say anything. He didn’t.
“If anybody ever touches you again, I’ll shoot them. I love you too much to see you hurt” He squeezed your shoulder with a smile, sending death threats with such ease. You let out a short laugh, and let him walk you away, choosing to ignore how his “I love you” felt different all of a sudden.
“I probably won’t be taking you up on that offer.”
—-
*bonus*
“Someone’s got a boyfrieeendddd” kiri teased, wiggling her fingers at you and dragging out the word for way too long. This is how you were greeted when you walked into the hut. Tuk had been gossiping with her about it, and had filled her in completely.
“What?”
“Y/n and neteyam sittin in a tree k-i-s-s-i” tuk started, and kiri giggled at how red you automatically got at the mention of him. You didn’t know what to do, you couldn’t just leave because that would be even more embarrassing, but you also didn’t want to talk tot he. About it-
“Shut up- oh my god shut up- somebody will hear you”
“oHhHhHhHh somebody like neteyam?” Kiri kept going, practically yelling out the words for anybody who was even remotely close to hear. You covered your face with your hands in embarrassment and glared daggers at the two giggling toddlers.
“I will kill both of you right now.” Your threats only seemed to spark more enthusiasm from the both of them, and even though you tried your hardest to get them to shut up, nothing worked. They went through fit after fit of giggles, until eventually kiri paused from laughter.
“Ok ok fine- you just have to promise me one thing.” Sending one of her smiles to you, the one that makes you know
“…go on.”
“Promise that my brother won’t steal you from me forever. And I mean it- I want my designated hour a day-“ she joked, still very loud, still doing anything and everything to make you as embarrassed as she could.
“Jesus Christ. Yeah, I promise
Your brother won’t steal me forever”
———————————————————————-
Ngl I’ve been reading way too many father jake x daughter reader fics and it’s rotting my brain away. But if you want to request those I’m so down.
Anyways I completely misunderstood this as a neteyam x reader request and only saw it once I was finished. And there is no way I’m deleting an entire fic now. So I hope it’s good
Thanks for requesting anon! And thanks so much for reading my lovely readers!

𝔼𝕪𝕖𝕤 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕊𝕜𝕪 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕋𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕤 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 (Protective!Lo’ak x Sensitive!Reader)
Tumblr media
Warnings!: blood, crying, slight angst then fluff, vulgar language, violence, bullying, protective Lo’ak
“I can’t believe those jerks,” you said, staring sadly at Kiri as she grumpily folded the newly hunted fish. “Why can’t they just leave you and all of us alone?”
You and Kiri had been friends since childhood. When you were young she had been one of your first friends. You could still remember her excitement upon meeting you and her declaration that the two of you would be friends forever!
So far she had been right. When her family was forced to flee their forest home, Kiri had practically begged you to come with them. She had claimed that she couldn't do it without you. After an hour or so of her following her and your families and begging them as well, they had allowed you to go, which now led you here.
"They are, they are just a bunch of- of- of assholes!" you finally burst, flinging your arms in the air to prove your point.
Kiri chuckled at your outburst, which made you smile, glad to make your best friend happy despite what had happened upon your first few lessons with the siblings of the Metkayina. The eldest son was constantly teasing all of you, though his verbal attacks were found to be most often pointed at the eldest Sully sister, much to your dismay.
"It's fine," Kiri said, her small smile falling slowly. "They're right, anyway. I am just a freak."
"Kiri, you are no freak," you said, scooting closer to your friend. "Ewya choose you. That does not make you a freak, not even a little bit so."
Kiri turned to you, leaning her head on your shoulder. You let out a small sigh, petting her hair gently.
***
"Um, hello? An'oung?" you said, approaching the eldest of the Metkayina siblings. He and his small group of friends stood in the ocean near the shore, surrounded by their ilus and holding fishing spears. They looked as though they were about to go hunting and a bit of you felt bad for bothering them. You scolded that bit of you, reminding it what they had done to your best friend.
"Well, if it isn't one of the baby tailed forest freaks," the boy said with a smirk.
You bit back the hurt that grew in your heart. "I'm just here to ask that you leave my friend alone," you said calmly. "The Sully's are good Na'vi and they are learning fast. They do not deserve your ridicule."
Ao'noung laughed and looked at his friends. "You are the freak's friend?" he asked as he approached you. You drew back slightly as they did so, making their smiles grow larger.
"I am Kiri's friend," you stated. "An'oung, please, I only ask you leave them alone. You- you can place the verbal abuse on me, I will do anything, just leave my friends alone."
"Wow," An'oung said, walking closer to you. "A bitch friend for the freak," he spat, making your heart fall. "Why do you defend them?"
"She doesn't even have their demon blood," one of his friends said, forcefully grabbing your hand and showing it to the group.
"Stop," you said, attempting to pull your hand away. The boy only held it tighter.
"Maybe she's sleeping some of them," another said, making An'oung chuckle. You felt tears prickle in your eyes at their words. "Maybe she's sleeping with all of them even."
"She said stop assholes." You felt the grip on your hand yanked away, only to be replaced by a warm and gentle one. You turned to the new form, instantly feeling a sense of relief falling over you. There standing over a bleeding Metkayina boy was Lo'ak.
"Is he the one your sleeping with, bitch?" An'oung laughed, watching as Lo'ak pulled you behind him protectively. "This four fingered freak?"
"Shut up, fishlips," Lo'ak seethed. He gently pushed you to the side before lunging at the boy. You let out a gasp as the two tumbled to the ground. "Dick!" you heard Lo'ak yell as the two rolled around on the ground. It took a minute before the rest of the group seemed to realize what was happening. After that although, it didn't take long for them to join in.
"OW!" one yelled as Lo'ak sent a kick to his groin, causing him to fall over.
"Stop it!" you yelled, feeling tears begin to fall as they continued fighting. "S-stop it!" you cried, making the boys finally stop their actions.
"Shit, she's crying dude," one of the boys mumbled.
Lo'ak was the first to stop the fighting, almost instantly releasing An'oung. His eyes grew wide at your tears. He jumped up, rushing towards you, quick to leave the group of boys alone. "Look what you assholes did," he hissed, turning his attention to the eldest group member as he held your upper arms.
"Lo'ak, stop, please," you cried, your head falling on his wet and sandy chest.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry Angel," he said, turning back to you. As soon as his eyes landed on your teary eyed face, they softened. "See, it's okay." Lo'ak sent a glare towards An'oung, making him and the rest of the boys slink away. "See, they're gone," he said gently, watching as you looked up at him. You looked around at the now empty beach. A feeling of emptiness fell over you, knowing you hadn't accomplished what you originally came here for.
"I'm sorry," you sniffed. "I came to try and get them to leave you alone, but I just made it worse. And now Jake is going to be angry with you for fighting for me."
"Angel, you did a good thing, those guys just aren't good people," Lo'ak said, pulling you back against his chest. "And my dad doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're okay."
You sniffed, nuzzling into his chest.
Lo'ak had been there to protect you ever since you had met. When you had first interacted he saw first hand how you processed things a bit differently. Ever since he first saw you cry he swore he would protect you for the rest of his life, and he had.
"You're bleeding," you said, pulling away from the Na'vi's tight hug.
"Yeah, but it's okay," Lo'ak shrugged.
"Let me patch you up," you stated, wiping a bit of blood away from his cheek.
"Whatever you want, Angel."

Don’t touch my sister
Slight Aonung x older sully sibling reader
Summary: Anoung and his friends are making fun of your younger sister kiri and you storm up to them and deal with them
Tumblr media
You were quiet and mainly kept to yourself especially when your family decided to leave the forest, your home, everything you ever know you had to leave Because of your father’s enemies and to the ocean with the metkayina clan to get away from the sky people who were trying to kill your father.
Dispute your lack of social skills and quiet personality if someone tried to mess with your siblings they would see the side of you no one really sees,
since the only time you’ve been like that was when a group of boys made fun of your little brother because he had five fingers instead of four like your self, older brother Neteyam and your youngest sister Tuk
And let’s just say they never messed with Lo’ak again.
Doing what you have been doing since you got here, was exploring the island you are now made to live
Even though the sight of the ocean, new animals and scenery was beautiful the forest will always be your home.
While walking along the beach you see boys surrounding your little sister Kiri grabbing her hands and her tail,
“Leave me alone”Your sister exclaimed but they didn’t listen and kept touching her, an angry look flashes in your eyes and you storm up to them
“Hey get off my sister fish lips”You shout getting closer to the group
“Oh look the quiet freak”One of Anoung’s goons said with a teasing look, you push Anoung off your sister he looks at you with a teasing smirk
“You heard what she said, leave her alone”You declared with a furious look
“And what are you going to do about it…freak”He teased stepping closer to you as his friends laugh, you glare up at him and push your finger onto his chest
“Back off now”You gritted though your teeth while pushing his chest with every word
“Oh the quiet freak is trying to intimidate you”His goon said and the other laughed
“If I don’t…princess?”Anoung said taking on step closer almost making his chest touch yours
you swing your other hand that wasn’t pointing at his chest and punch it across his face making him finch and fall back onto the wet sand holding onto his right side of his face which is now Turing red
“Im gonna punch your fish ass into the ocean”you turn and look at the other boys who all had shock impressions on their faces and Kiri who had now stood back was holding in her giggles
“Don’t ever touch my sister again”you said glaring at them then turning your attention to Anoung
“If you family asks how you got that black eye tell them that you hit it off some coral”you now looked at the group
“and if any of you tell them I did it, I will do the same to you got it?”They all nodded and scurried off and one of them helping Anoung before they also ran off
you watch them with a satisfied smile and turned back to your little sister who was holding back her laughter, a giggle escaped your lips and you both burst into laughter
“Come on let’s go back to our marui”She nodded and the two of you began to walk back to the marui without knowing your father watching from the distance with a proud smile on his lips maybe he will let this slide and not tell the chief what really happened to his son.

꧁Breath in and out..꧂
( After you and you’r family went to the metkayina clan to stay there bc of the war you get a little close to a certain ‘boy’. You and your siblings had to learn their «way» so you are trying to do the best of the impossible and get your breathing under control only for a certain boy to take notice and help you)
(WARNING) * fluff * joke/ mean words *mention of touching *slight enemies to lovers? * soft Aonung
Notes: This is my first fic hope you guys like it✨
(Ao’nung x reader)
Enjoy!✨😊🤭
Tumblr media
-No you gotta breath from here.
You watched as Aonung placed his hands on your stomach. His hands were cold and it made your stomach crumble down. You took a deep inhale and closed your eyes trying to concentrate but you just couldn’t. His hands were all over your stomach, his thumb scraping over your bellybutton many times. This made your heartbeat and breathing go faster then normal.
(Aonung) - God… Your breathing is much worse now! Why can’t you atleast try to get it. He grumbled the last words as he puffed his chest out a little. Aonung looked like he would leave any minute now, his light blue eyes looked around for any person walking by to switch whit, He had tried to teach you but you just couldn’t do it right. What was wrong? He wondered if you ever took lessons to be this stupid or if it was natrual.
(Reader) - Im sorry im really trying my best but i just can’t concentrate whit your hands all over me! You hissed at him and he slowly took his hands off you watching you get back into position for another try.
(Aonung) - Wow (reader) Everyone’s entitiled to act stupid once in a while, but you really abuse the privilege. As he said that a smirk creeped up on his lips as he laughed right in your face.
Now you tried your best to stay calm and not get into a stupid agrument. everything you did was wrong, as you were the oldest sully daughter you were the expectation in the family. Your duty was to take care off the most, such as feeding the sius in the morning, picking up beautiful sheels to use for making necklaces, diving under water for a certain plant, pick up coconuts and at the same time, watch over you’r siblings who would always pick up a fight whit each other. Your father said it was a way to show our greatfullness for getting to stay here, but you never understood why only you got these tasks. Of course your siblings help you a little now and then but it wasn’t often as they liked to play and run around in the water. You understood them tho, it’s much more fun to play in the water as you wish you could switch places for a bit. As for the omatikaya siblings they had the job to teach you guys and go out fishing and that was enough already, you knew it was hard for them as you teached your siblings in the past. They could be pretty dumb sometimes-…
(You took a deep inhale again as you took your hands in your palms and held your breath.)
(Aonung) -That is also wrong. You gotta breath from here..
( Reader)- I know exactly where i have to breath from! You yelped out only for him to smile and laugh at your so called «mad face»
( Aonung) - Then do it
(Reader) - I will… you grumbled as you tried to concentrate again.
Aonung soon found out what you did wrong, you didn’t have a clear mind. For it to work you had to concentrate whitout a crazy mind. That’s prob why Loak, Kiri, Tuk and Neteyam already mastered it, they are calm and concentrated and thought about something that made them calm their nerves down.
He asked if he could help you but you didnt even get to answer as he took your hand in his and dragged you over to a place where noone was. He thought about it twice as you two walked thru a small cozy forest, should i really bring her there? Is she gonne master it? Of course he didnt wanna «help you» but the sooner you got the breathing under control the sooner he would have one minus person to help when in the water.
(Reader) - Hey! Where are you taking me? You asked as you looked over his shoulders.
(Aonung) - A place where you can calm down and get your breathing under control. He simply replied whitout a joke this time.
As you guys were walking you notice he still had a good grip on your hand and kinda whouldn’t let go? Also that his hand were warm and not cold. As you two reached your destination Aonung quietly sat down on the grass followed by your figure. It showed a pretty view over the village whit palm trees and soft grass touching your silky skin as you sat down. He never really took anyone up here, this was a place he usally went by himself if he ever were stressed about something or needed to clear his mind.
(Aonung) - Ok to get your breathing under control you gotta be calm and think about something to make your stress go away, for me it helps to look at the view, here give it a try.
He let go of your hand blushing sigthly as he sat himself cross from you, he took a hold of his hands in his palms and took a deep inhale giving you a eye contact to do the same. As you both sat there eyes closed just enjoying each other prescence for minutes. You for almost the first time felt calm and not worried about your siblings, feeling the wind brushing sigthy over your ears and a shadow that suddenly blocked the sun and view from your eyes made you get back to reality. As you opened your eyes you saw Aonung figure standing over you.
(Aonung) - Looks like you mastered your breathing, we have already been sitting here for some minutes. He looked down at you, a little red in his cheeks as you swore you saw him smile just a bit. - Good job (reader) he examinated as he took out his hand to help you stand up.
As his hand touched your you blushed, you didnt know why, was it beacause you mastered the breathing or beacause Aonung was sweet and actully used his personal time to help you?
As you got up he offered to walk you back to your mud because it was getting late.
(Aonung) - Im only walking you back home because it’s late you snake he said as he looked forward not wanting to meet your gaze that was looking at him.
(Reader) Thank you for helping me today Aonung, i really appreciate it, you said as you saw a form of pink forming onto his cheeks.
(Aonung) - It’s nothing… It’s the least i could do for you stupid freak.
As you two reached your pud and shared a farwell you went to bed, but for the chief son he couldn’t stop thinking about you❤️

𝔸𝕝𝕝 𝔽𝕠𝕣 𝕐𝕠𝕦 (Aged Up!Neteyam x Protective!Fem!Aged Up!Reader)
Tumblr media
Warnings!: minor obsessive behavior, protective reader, vulgar language, fluff and suggestive content towards the end
You never thought you would give your entire life to protect someone. Give everything you have and do whatever possible just to make sure they're happy and safe.
But everything changed when you met Neteyam.
***
You shook slightly under the gaze of the four humans in their large mech suits. They stood over you, each holding a large gun they pointed at you. Your back was pressed against the forest floor, frozen as they yelled odd things you didn't understand. None of them spoke your native tongue.
You let out a meek hiss as one of the soldiers took a step towards you.
They all let out a noise you recognized as laughter at your attempt of intimidation.
"What should we do with her?" one solider said, though you didn't understand.
"I say we just kill her," another answered.
You notice something blue flash between the branches above you as the soldiers talk among themselves.
"No, we need to take her back. She might have some information of Jake Sully."
"I don't know anything, stay away from me!" you yelled in your native tongue, feeling your tail swish behind you.
"Shut up, na'vi!" one yelled, his mech's metallic hand grabbing your thick braids. You let out a wail of pain as he picked you up by your hair, lifting you high above the ground. You let out a sound that was a mix of a wail and a hiss as he stared at you through the glass veil of the machine.
He laughed once more but the sound was cut short by a large Na'vi arrow hitting his chest.
"There's another one!" the soldiers yelled as their dead comrade dropped you.
"Where is it?" one soldier yelled, only to be shot down as well.
You scrambled across the forest floor as the giant machines fell left and right, the humans within them killed effortlessly by some your mysterious hero in the trees.
"Come with me," a voice said in Na'vi. You looked up to see none other than the son of famed Toruk Mokto. He stood high on a root, his hand outstretched for you to grab, his bow slung over his shoulder. Your breathing became heavy as your eyes scanned him, still frozen in fear and shock.
"I will not hurt you," he said, holding his hand a bit farther. "Please just come with me."
The sound of gunshots behind you was what finally broke you from your trance. You ducked down and took the chief's son's hand, allowing him to pull you through the forest. The two of you ducked and swiftly avoided the large vegetation of Pandora before the boy pulled you under a large bush.
"Stay down," he said, holding you close against him as you stayed close to the ground. You felt your heart beat in your chest, adrenaline running through your veins. "Okay, we're all clear."
You watched as the boy looked up and over the bush before finally standing to his full height. You stared up at him, sure you had stars in your eyes.
"What's your name?" you asked quietly, still staring at the boy before you.
"I'm Neteyam," he answered, giving you a comforting smile. "What is your name?" He offered you his hand once more.
"Y/n."
***
Ever since that day, you had swore to yourself and Neteyam that you would do everything in your power to protect him. You trained everyday and even followed the Sully family to keep him safe.
And you did. Anytime Neteyam was in any sort of danger, you were there to defend him. And anytime he needed a shoulder to cry on, there you were.
Which now led to this moment.
***
"Who the hell did this to you?" you seethed, rushing into the Sully's small hut to see a bruised and battered Neteyam.
"I'm okay, sevin," Neteyam stated, giving you a small smile. "You should see the other guys."
"Neteyam," you frowned, kneeling in front of the boy. You swiped your thumb across his bleeding lip. "What happened?"
"Just an incident with some people," Neteyam said, smiling at your touch. He grabbed your hand and kissed it gently. "It doesn't matter, okay? Just leave it alone, sevin."
You frowned once more, your tail swishing anxiously behind you. "Alright," you sighed, pressing your forehead against his own. You let out a small sigh, pressing yourself closer to the boy you loved. "The others looked worse?" you asked, feeling Neteyam's ragged breath against your lips. He nodded slightly and you could practically feel his chest swell with pride. You smiled slightly before pressing your lips against his. "My mighty warrior," you whispered, pulling away.
"The mightiest warrior," Neteyam echoed, his hands grabbing at your hips. "Kiss me again, sevin." You chuckled before obliging his request. Neteyam let out a low hum as you pressed your lips against his. Your lips molded against one another, the faint taste of blood lingering in your mouth.
You felt your cheeks flush as Neteyam's arms wrapped themselves around your waist, pulling you into his lap.
"May I please know who it was at least darling?" you gasped, pulling away slightly, both of your chests heaving. Neteyam frowned at you, nudging his head against your chin. "Please, my mighty warrior," you whispered, running your hands against his chest.
"An'oung," Neteyam said quietly, pressing kisses against your throat and chest. "Now please keep going my Y/n."
"An'oung," you said to yourself. "Anything for you, ma Neteyam."
Sevin = Pretty

— word count ! 6449
you woke up to your alarm clock yelling at you. you groaned and decided to stretch before actually getting ready. staring at yourself in the mirror before exiting your room. heading to the kitchen with pajamas still on. you started making some coffee and realized there was nothing in the fridge, as always. you groaned and turned off the coffee maker, not wanting to make coffee if there was no food. you grabbed a sticky note from the junk drawer and wrote. “luke’s?” you jogged upstairs and decided to get ready. you put on the slightest amount of makeup your mom let you borrow. you smiled and put on some lip gloss. you headed to your small wardrobe and got a simple outfit. you finished getting changed and looked over at the alarm clock.
you called tsiyera wanting to see if she was awake this early. she didn’t answer. you groaned not wanting to wait for your mother and twin to wake up. you decided to fix your hair. putting it into a hair clip. you decided you’d just walk around town until 8 am which is usually when your sister and mother woke up. you were also waiting for tsiyera to wake up.
you headed out the door and just walked around town. you got to the front of the newspaper stand. seeing babette and miss patty. “did you hear? there’s a new family in town.” babette said and you walked up to them. “victoria, oh my goodness. you get prettier by the day!” miss patty said holding your face in her hands adoring your features. “how do you not have a boyfriend? when i was your age i had too many to count,” miss patty smiled. you smiled as well. “do you want me to set you up with someone? there are some fine young boys for you at my studio,” miss patty let out. you shook your head. “i’ll find the right one soon,” you replied. they both beamed. “i have to go to luke’s, i’ll see you both later,” you spoke up.
you waved at them and walked away but stared at the new house for a little bit longer. you saw three older kids and a smaller girl walking around whining. you smiled and saw a what looked like the oldest sibling looking around and caught sight of you. you both waved at each other. you smiled and walked to luke’s.
neteyam’s point of view;
we arrived at our new house after traveling for an extended duration. i exited the truck and grabbed the two boxes i had from our previous house. “neteyam you get the second biggest room, loak your room is next to his. kiri and tuk you can decide.” my dad said while gathering other boxes. i nodded and headed inside the house. i looked around and immediately headed up stairs to see my new room. i smiled seeing the view and how spacious it was. i placed my two boxes down smiling.
i headed back outside to help my siblings inside. i help loak move his boxes even though he had more than me. “how do you have this much stuff.” i said, placing the boxes onto the cement. tuktirey started to whine. “mom!! these boxes are too heavy.” she whine and sat down on the cement drive way. “tuk, go inside. we’ll care your box.” i said. she smiled, skipping along, walking inside. i started look around the town. wanting to see the people. i saw a beautiful girl walking on the sidewalk. i smiled and waved, not wanting to just say stare at her. she waved back and smiled. she continued walking. i smiled and loak snickered. i rolled my eyes. “she was cute,” loak commented. i again roll my eyes. “i’m not gonna help you with your boxes,” i said and walked into the house with tuk’s boxes instead of loak’s. i could hear loak yelling my name but i continued walking where tuk was staying.
back to your point of view:
lorelai gasps as you and rory walk in. “my two favorite people in the world!” you smiled. “hey. it’s freezing.” rory said and you both sat down, in front of two coffee mugs. “oh, what do you need? hot tea, coffee?” lorelai said with a smile looking at you and rory. “lip gloss.” “aha! i have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and toasted marshmallow.” lorelai said placing down the makeup bag. “anything in there not resembling a breakfast cereal?” you asked and rory smiled knowing she was about to say the same thing. “yes. it has no smell but it changes with your mood.” lorelai said and placed another bag of makeup down. “god. RuPaul doesn’t need this much makeup.” you remarked, while rory got a lip gloss. “you both are crabby this morning?” “i’m sorry i woke up early and found out we didn’t have food in the fridge at all.” you said with a frown. “well im sorry, i lost my macy gray cd and i need caffeine.” rory said finishing up the lipgloss. “oo i have your cd. we never have food vick.” lorelai said and gave rory the cd while smiling at you. “thief.” rory sounded. “sorry, i’ll get you both some coffee.” lorelai said and grabbed the mugs. she stood up and went up to luke.
a guy that once sitting at the counter came up to you and rory. you frowned wondering what the older man wanted from you and rory. he chatted with us for a bit until lorelai came to the table. “yeah, i’ve never been through here before.” he said mostly looking at rory. “oh, you have, too.” lorelai said with a tone and he turned around slowly. “oh, hi.” he said. “oh, hi. you really like my table, don’t you?” lorelai asked, you looked at rory laughing together. “i was just, uh..” he spoke trying to make an excuse. “getting to know my daughters.” lorelai said and placed her hand on your shoulder, standing next to me. “your..” he said not finishing his sentence. “are you my new daddy?” you asked with a grin. “wow. you do not look old enough to have a daughter. no, i mean it. and you do not look like a daughter.” he said directing the last part to you. “that’s possibly very sweet of you. thanks.” lorelai said with a mocking tone. “so…daughter? daughters.” he said correcting him self at the last second, lorelai nodded. “you know, i am traveling with two friends.” he said pointing behind him at the two guys at the counter where he was sitting previously, they turned around and waved. “they’re both sixteen.” lorelai said with a grin. “bye.” the guy standing up say and left with his friends follwing behind him. “drive safe.” lorelai spoke. once they left she bent down and laughed with you and rory.
your point of view, at the inn
you entered the inn with papers in hand. you walked up the counter where michel and your mother were, your mother being on a call. “kiss.” she whispered as she was on the phone with marco the plumber. “uh-huh? i thought you replaced that already. well, because you told me you did and i never forget anything.” she spoke at marco. you looked into one of the drawers at the counter, with michel peeking at you. “what is your offspring doing?” michel asked annoyingly. “i need stamps. can i have these?” you asked taking stamps out of the drawer. michel disagreed. “take them. what’s with the muumuu?” lorelai said pointing at your white sweater. “stop,” you muttered. “i’m just saying, you couldn’t find one made of metal in case anyone has x-ray eyes?” lorelai asked joking. “and now we say goodbye.” you said tilting your head and going around to the front of the counter. “hey, have michel look at your french paper before you go.” lorelai said since you talked about your french paper the night before. “excuse me?” michel asked looking at other papers. “that’d be great.” you said with a smile. he shook his head. “come on, michel. i’ll tell all the ladies what a stud you are.” you said holding onto your paper. “hm. i believe that memo had already been sent.” he said tilting his head. “oh, please, michel. pretty please with sucre on top. i will stop talking like this.” lorelai said trying to convice him with an annoying french accent. “leave it. i’ll look at it if i get a chance.” he said not looking up from his other pile of papers. “it’s due tomorrow. and pay special attention to the grammar.” you said pointing at the paper leaving it near his pile of papers. you walked away smiling at your mother.
you were nearing the school when someone jumped on your back. you immediately knew it was tsiyera, and you groaned. “tsiyera, ima flip you over.” you threatened and she smiled, getting off, and walking beside you. “you didn’t answer my call nor texts in the morning.” you frowned. “sorry, aonoung woke up early for practice and i woke up as well but ended up falling back asleep. you wake up too early either way, i do not want to be waking up at the crack of dawn.” tisyera complained. you frowned. we passed by the “teen hayride 9:00 pm thursday” sign. “my mom is forcing me to go to the hayride” she said and looks at the sign. “the hayride? you’re kidding.” you asked. “my parents want me to get with someone, so they set me up with my mom's best friend's son.” tsiyera complained. “you’re only sixteen?” you replied and you both started walking across the street. “well, my parents like to plan ahead.” tsiyera replied. “god, you have to go to the hayride with him?” you said slightly laughing. “and his older brother.” “oh, now you’re kidding.” “my parents said they don’t want me to end up alone, which frankly is kind of sad.” tsiyera spoke. “so, i guess you’re not going, huh?” tsiyera assumed, we walked by the cheerleaders. “no, i’m still fuzzy on what’s fun about sitting in the cold for two hours with some sticks up your butt,” you replied laughing. you both went up the steps and into the school, passing by two new boys you assumed. “don’t expect me to clear it up for you.” tsiyera spoke.
Tumblr media
“for those of you who have not finished the final chapters of huckleberry finn ‘you may use this time do so. for those of you who have, you can start on your essay now. whichever task you choose, do it silently..” your teacher spoke out, sitting down at her desk at the front of the class. you started to write onto your paper while the girls in-front of you painted their nails, passing the nail polish around the four of them. they made a gesture towards you among them and three of them looked at you while you were still writing. “maybe it’s a love letter.” “or her diary.” “could be a slam book.” the whispered among themselves. the closet one to you peeked over, putting pressure on the seat making it noisy. you continued writing. she sat back down. “it’s the assignment.” she whispered with a disappointed tone. they frowned and continued to pass around the nail polish. you smiled, aware of what they were saying.
you and tsiyera starting walking towards her house. tsiyera’s mother, ronal owns a small flower shop near luke’s. but she’s only open in the mornings. you and tsiyera were talking about school and the subjects you both dislike. you even told her about what happened in english. “really? that makes sense, amelia is always in everyone’s business.” tsiyera spoke. you nodded. you both entered the home. “mother! i’m home, i’m with victoria.” tsiyera said and took off her shoes and changed into her slippers. you also did the same, since you have came over to her house for many years, but you only took of your shoes, leaving your pink socks, not putting on your sandals. ronal came out of the kitchen with her navy apron with a pleated puffed ruffled skirt and lace detail. “so how was school? none of the girls get pregnant, drop out?” she asked curious. “not that we know of.” “come to think of it, joanna ponser was glowing a little.” you teased. “what?” ronal asked confused. “nothing mama, she’s just kidding.” tsiyera quickly defended you in a teasing manner. ronal shook her head slightly smiling.
“mom?” you and rory spoke out entering the kitchen. the both gasped. you both walked up to them, confused. “you’re happy.” rory said. “yeah.” lorelai said smiling and nodded her head. “did you do something slutty?” you asked teasing. “i’m not that happy.” lorelai said and she chuckled. “here.” she said and passed you the bag. “what’s going on?” rory asked and peeked over at the bag. “open it.” lorelai said enthusiastically. you looked into the bag. it was a skirt, blue squared pattern. “i’m gonna be in a britney spears video?” you asked confused. “you’re going to chilton! oh sorry.” sookie said unexpectedly, lorelai hit her shoulder. “mom?” you asked. “you did it, babe. you got in.” lorelai said with the biggest smile on her face. “how did this happen? you didn’t, with the principal, did you?” you asked worried almost. “no, honey. that was a joke. the have an open spot. you’re gonna start on monday.” lorelai enunciates still smiling. “really?” “really.” lorelai said. “i don’t believe this. oh my god, im going to chilton!” you said enthusiastically and hugged your mother. “yeah.” lorelai said hugging you back. “sookie, im going to chilton.” you said and hugged her as well. “i’ll make cookies.” sookie said. “protestants love oatmeal.” sookie let out. “i have to call tsiyera.” you said and walked away but immediately turned back around and looked at rory and lorelai. you smiled and hugged them both. “i love you.” you spoke softly at them both. “i love you.” they both said. your headed outside of the kitchen. “my daughter is going to chilton.” lorelai said. “yeah. victoria is going to chilton!” sookie said.
time skip, the next day, your point of view
you got home from school and decided to be on call with tsiyera just for a bit and you wanted to try on your skirt. tsiyera had to hang up because of aonoung bothering her. you went downstairs and outside where lorelai and sookie were. “mom?” you said and walked out and showcased your skirt. “so what do you think?” you asked. “wow, it makes you look smart.” sookie speaking one's mind. “okay, no more wine for you. mom?” you asked smiling. “you look like you were swallowed by a kilt.” lorelai teased. “fine, you can hem it. a little. only a little.” you said, not wanting to ruin the skirt. lorelai ‘ooh’ed. “or i could hem it a lot.” she said trying to convince you. “no. i don’t want it to be too short.” you let out, and your mother put her arm around your shoulder, walking into the house with sookie falling behind. “i can’t believe tomorrow’s my last day at stars hollow high.” you said not even believing yourself. “i know.” lorelai said enthusiastically. “today i was so excited, i dressed up for gym.” you said surprised. “you’re kidding!” “and i played volleyball.” “with other people?”lorelai asked surprised. rory was sitting on the couch reading a book kind of listening to the conversation you were having with your mother. you stepped onto the stool and let lorelai hem your skirt. “and i learned all this time, i was avoiding group sports.” “yeah?” “was very smart ‘cause i suck.” you said slightly proud. “well, yeah, you and your twin got that from me.” lorelai said smiling at you and then at rory. “where’s your pate?” sookie asked coming from the kitchen. “at zsa zsa gabor’s house.” lorelai said continuing with your skirt. “right. i’m going to the store because you have nothing. you feel like a duck?” sookie asks and puts on her purse. if it’s made with chicken, absolutely.” “i’ll be back.” “bye.” lorelai said and finished with your skirt. “alright. this will give you an idea,” she said looking closely and patting your knees where your skirt ended making sure it would be even. “go see how you like it.” “okay.” you said and smiled stepping off the stool. you swung on the staircase. “i love being a private school girl.” you said and turned around to head to your room to check out your outfit, your hair flipping from behind you. lorelai smiled but her smile faded, she stared at the photos of you with rory and pictures of the three of you.
“and we get to wear uniforms. no more having people check you out to see what jeans you’re wearing ‘cause everyone’s dressed alike in boring clothes and just there to learn.” you said excited and finished putting things into your box, closing your locker. “okay, there’s academic-minded and then there’s amish.” tsiyera stated. “funny.” “thank you! so, i told my mom you’re changing schools.” “was she thrilled?” you asked teasing. “the party’s on friday. i go to go. i have to have a pre-hayride cup of tea with my ‘future husband’. how do i look? presentable?” tsiyera said and placed the book she was holding previously onto your box, you nodded. “good, bye.” tsiyera said and basically jogged outside of the school. your book fell, while you were looking at her. you squated down placing your box onto the floor and grabbing the book, there was some other small things that fell out as well, while turning you saw long legs and shoes. “god! you’re like ruth gordon just standing there with a tannis root. make a noise.” you let out, finished picking up the things. “rosemary’s baby.” the long legged boy said. you lifted your head and saw the boy, you stood up. “yeah.” you said still staring at his face. “well, that’s a great movie.” he says. “you’ve got good taste.” he continued. you smiled and looked down for a second. “are you moving?” he asked. “no, just my books are.” you replied. “well my family just moved here from chicago.” he said. “chicago. windy. oprah.” you let out of what you remembered of chicago. “yeah. yeah, that’s the place. i’m neteyam.” he said and leaned down a bit. “hi.” you said smiling, didn’t reply though. he made a gesture for you to say your name. “oh, tori. me. that’s-that’s me.” you said. “tori,” he repeated your name. “well, victoria technically. i have a lot of nicknames.” you replied. “victoria, i like that.” he sounded. “it’s my mothers middle name. my twin took her first name.” you said. “she was lying in the hospital bed, thinking about how men name boys after themselves. so why couldn’t woman? so she used both of her names on my twin and i. she says her feminism just kind of took over. though personally, i think a lot of demerol also went into that decision.” you let out. “i never talk this much.” you said in a panicked way for a moment, looking up at him. he smiled and turned his head to the side for a moment. “well, i better go.” “oh, sure.” you replied realizing he probably has things to do, better than hearing you babble about useless things. “i have to go look for a job.” “okay, good.” you said, a bit too loud. he said and laughed a bit. he started walking away. “you should check with miss patty.” you said suddenly, turned around facing his back. he turned around. “what?” “about the job. you should check with miss patty. she teaches dance. she was actually on broadway once.” you said. “i-i don’t really dance much.” he said and gestured with his hand while speaking. “no, no, she just kind of knows everything that is going on in this town. she’ll know if someone’s looking.” you replied. “oh, great. uh, thanks.” he said with one hand in his pocket, shrugging a bit with a laugh. you looked down at your books. “hey, what are you doing now?” neteyam said and walked closer to you. “nothing…much” you said. “i should throw this away at some point.” you said and held on the yellow lined paper. “well maybe you could show me where this miss patty’s place is.” he said, asking. “yeah, i guess so. i really don’t have anything important to— let’s go.” you said not wanting to speak more than you already did. he picked up your box. you both walked out of the school. “so, have you lived here all your life?” he asked. “yes. well, pretty much. i was actually born in hartford.” you stated. “well that’s not far.” he said. “thirty minutes with no traffic.” you stated. “really?” “i timed it.” you said, he laughed. “okay, then.” he said.
“so, do you like cake?” you asked while you both were passing by stores. “what?” he asked, confused why you were asking. “they make really good cakes here. they’re very… round.” you said and pointed at the store. “okay. i’ll remember that.” he spoke. “good, make a note. you wouldn’t want to forget where the round cakes are.” you said, slightly embarrassed. “so, how are you liking moby dick?” he asked and looked at you. “oh it’s really good.” you said with a grin. “yeah?” “yeah, it’s my first melville.” you said. “cool,” he spoke out. “i mean, i know it’s kind of cliche to pick moby dick as your first melville but… hey, how did you know i was reading moby dick?” you asked and you both stopped. “uh- well i’ve been watching you.” he uttered. “watching me?” “i mean; not in a creepy, like, “i’m watching you” sort of way. i just, I’ve noticed you,” he let out. “me?” you said and looked at yourself for a second. he nodded. “when?” you asked. “every day. well since i’ve moved here. after school you come or and sit under that tree there and you read. last week it was madame bovary.” he said and slighly gestured his head to the tree. “this week it’s moby dick.” he said. “but why would you-” you said and he interrupted you. “because you’re nice to look at.” he said slightly shrugging. “and because you’ve got unbelievable concentration.” he let out. “what?” you asked clearly confused about what he’s talking about. “last friday these two guys were tossing around a ball and one guy nailed the other in the face. i mean, it was a mess, blood everywhere, the nurse came out. the place was on chaos, his girlfriend was all freaking out and you just sat there and read. i mean, you never even looked up. i thought, i have never seen anyone read so intensely before in my life. i have to meet that girl.” he finished speaking. “maybe, i just didn’t look up because i’m unbelievably self-centered.” you said trying to reason. “maybe, but i doubt it.” he said. you smiled and he smiled. you both started walking. “so, did i ask if you like cake?” “yeah, you did.” “oh, ‘cause they have really good cake back there.” you said once again, he laughed.
the three of you just stared at the plates, not speaking. “uh, i forgot to tell you were having dinner with your grandparents tomorrow night.” your mother spoke quickly and took a sip of coffee from her light green mug. “we are?” you and rory asked. “mm-hmm.” she said still drinking her coffee. “but it’s september?” rory asked. “so?” your mother asked, oblivious almost. “so what holiday’s in september?” you asked. “oh look, it’s not a holiday thing. it’s just dinner, okay?” your mother spoke sternly. you and rory glanced at each other, confused almost why she spoke like that. “fine, sorry,” you said and continued eating, so did rory. luke came up to the table. he placed down the food. “red meat can kill you. enjoy.” he said and ripped the check off of his checkbook. lorelai laughed, but the two of you didn’t react. she quietly cleared her throat, swapping her salad with her food. “so, i finished hemming your skirt today.” your mother spoke and smiled at you. you were about to speak but didn’t and just looked at your food again. “a grunt of acknowledgment might be nice. “i don’t understand why we’re going to dinner tomorrow night. i mean, what if i had plans? you didn’t even ask me.” you uttered. “well, if you had plans, i would’ve known.” she spoke out. “how?” you asked genuinely. “well, you would have told me.” she said. “i don’t tell you everything. neither does rory. i have my own things.” you said with a tone almost. “fine, you have things” “that’s right. i have things.” you said sternly. “hey, i had dibs on being the bitch tonight,” she said. you looked at your salad again, rory felt uncomfortable, but knowing how you felt. “just tonight?” you uttered. “what’s wrong with you?” your mother asked. you sighed. “i’m not sure i want to go to chilton.” you spoke out all of a sudden. “what?” your mother and twin asked, knowing you’ve been wanting to get into chilton, forever. “the timing is just really bad.” you spoke. “the timing is bad?” your mother asked genuinely confused. “and the bus ride to and from hartford it’s like thirty minutes each way.” you complained. “i can’t believe what i’m hearing.” your mother said shocked. “plus, i don’t think we should be spending that money right now. i mean, i know chilton’e got to be costing you a lot. all of that money should be going towards to you buying an inn with sookie,” you tried to reason with her. rory was eating her burger listening into the conversation, making sure nothing would get bad. “what about college? what about harvard?” you mother asked knowing since you were a baby you’ve wanted to go to havard. “we dunno that i can’t get into harvard if i stay where i am.” you said. “okay, enough. enough of the crazy talk, okay? i appreciate your concern but i have this covered.” your mother spoke. “i still don’t want to go.” “why?” “because i don’t.” you said. “i have to get out of here.” your mother said, picking up her bag and getting off of her seat. you and rory stared. “we have to pay first.” rory said. your mother took out some cash she had in her back pocket, placing them onto the table. you and rory stood up. your mother opened the door first, leaving you and your sister behind. you caught up to her and walked beside your mother, with your twin on the opposite side. horses passed by, with music playing. at the back of the hayride was tsiyera with her so called date and her date’s brother. the three of you walking by miss patty’s dance studio. “one, two, three. it’s a waltz, ladies. susie, do you have to tinkle? then uncross your legs, darling. oh, tori, good. i think i found a job for your male friend.” miss patty said stepping a step down the steps. the three of you stopped infront of her. “what male friend?” your mother asked. “they need a stock boy at the supermarket. i already talked to taylor doode about him. you just send him around tomorrow.” miss patty said and smoked her cigar. “okay, thanks.” you said. “what male friend?” your mother asked once again. “oh, he’s very cute. you have good taste. you got yourself a good one, maybe he’s the one you need.”
“hands in the air, not in the nose. ‘one, two, three, one, two, three.’ “ miss patty said to her students. you started walking away, heading home with your mother and twin following behind you. your mother laughed. “oh ho. you’re gonna have to walk faster than that. you’re gonna have to turn into flo-jo to get away from me.” she said and followed behind you. rory was sprinting behind the two of you not wanting to be left behind. you quickly opened the door, almost closing it behind you but your mother caught it, she made sure rory go in as well though. “this is about a boy. of course, can’t believe, i didn’t see it. all this talk about money and bus rides, you got a thing going on with a guy, you don’t wanna leave school.” your mother said. rory entered her room already heading to bed. “i’m going to bed.” you said and placed things onto the table near the couch. “god, i’m so dense. that should’ve been my first thought. after all, you’re me.” your mother let out. you grabbed your backpack. “i’m not you.” you said. “really? someone willing to throw important life experiences outta the window to be with a guy. it sounds like me to me.” she said sternly. “whatever.” you said and headed upstairs. “so, who is he?” she asked. “there’s no guy.” you said, starting to get upset. “dark hair, tan skin, romantic guy, looks a little dangerous.” she said. “this conversation is over.” you spoke out. “tattoos are good too.” she said while you both started getting up the stairs. you turned around holding onto your school supplies, your backpack hanging on one shoulder. “i don’t wanna change schools because of all the reasons i’ve told you a thousand times. if you don’t wanna believe me, that’s fine. goodnight.” you said going fully upstairs. lorelai stood at the same step. “does he have a motorcycle? ‘cause if you’re gonna throw your life away, he better have a motorcycle.” she said and you slammed your door. silence, is what the house was filled with. she sighed. she opened your door, while you were taking off your sweater with your backpack on your bed. “i think that went pretty well, don’t you?” lorelai asked. you threw your sweater on the bed. “thanks for the knock.” you said, sarcastically. “listen, can we just start all over? ‘kay? you tell me about the guy, i promise i not to let my head explode, huh?” your mother asked trying to convince you. “tori. please talk to me. okay, i’ll talk.” your mother sighed. “don’t get me wrong. guys are great. i am a huge fan of guys. you don’t get knocked up at sixteen with twins being indifferent to guys. babes guys are always going to be there. this school isn’t. it’s more important. it has to be more important.” lorelai states. “i’m going to sleep,” you said and reached over at your nightstand to get a book. you sighed and fixed your hair. “tori. you’ve always been the sensible one in this house, huh? i need you to remember that feeling now. you will kick your butt later if you blow this.” lorelai says still trying to convince you. you closed your book, still keeping the bookmark inside. you fixed your pillows leaning more into them. “well, it’s my butt.” you said. “good comeback.” your mother said. “thank you,” “you’re welcome. vick, come on.” “i don’t wanna talk about this. could you please, please just leave me alone?” you asked. your mother stared. “okay, fine. we always had a democracy in this house. we never did anything unless the three of us agreed. but now i’m going to have to play the mom card. you’re going to chilton whether you want to or not. monday morning, you will be there, end of story.” your mother said and started walking to the door. “we’ll see.” you said and your mother slammed your bedroom door. “yeah, we will.” your mom yelled. you sighed, turning on your radio. ‘i try’ by macy gray played in your room. you fell asleep with the song playing, filling the emptiness of your room.
you sat down on michel’s chair, while he left to go tell your mother about you being here. “hey, no muumuu today? you know what’s weird, i know of miss it.” she said tilting her head, coming up to you and standing next to you behind the counter. “you left a note to meet here.” you stated, holding onto your book. she walked to the other side of the register desk. “yeah. thought you might wanna work a couple hours. make a little extra cash.” she said and grabbed a notebook. “fine.” you said and looked at you book once again. “aww. you’re not giving the ‘mommy dearest’ treatment forever, are ya?” she asked. “you wanted me here, i’m here. should i do something or what?” you asked. “yeah, go home. dinners at seven. be ready to go.” she said and slammed her binder onto her desk. “fine.” “fine.” your mother sighed. you walked out of the inn.
Tumblr media
the three of you stood outside the grand doors, staring at the doors. your mother holding onto her coffee cup, you and rory glancing at each other. “so, do we go in or do we just stand here reenacting ‘the little match girl’?” you asked, your mother sighed, she turned her head towards you. “okay, look, i know you and me are having a thing here and i know you hate me but i need you to be civil. at least through dinner, on the way home you can menendez. deal?” your mother said sternly. “fine.” you said and turned to look at her too, rory just stood behind you knowing what happened between you two. the three of you stepped up more closer to the door, your mother rang the door bell dramatically with her heels clicking obnoxiously. your grandmother opened the door. “hi, grandma.” you and rory uttered. “well? you’re right on time.” your grandmother spoke. “yeah, yeah no traffic at all.” your mother said and the three of you walked in. you and rory took of your coats. “i can’t tell you what a treat it is to have you girls here,” your grandmother said, taking the coats and hanging them on the dark rack. “oh, well, we’re excited, too.” lorelai said, still holding onto her cup. “is that a collector’s cup or can i throw it away for you?” emily asked. your mother uttered an apology, heading to the small trash can next to the door. “in the kitchen, the please.” emily stated. “sorry,” lorelai said, walking back. “so, i want to hear all about chilton.” emily said and grabbed her hands into hers and walked with you to the living room. “well, i haven’t actually started yet. your mother and rory stood near the coat rack, and glanced at each other before walking behind the two of you. “richard, look who’s here.” your grandmother said, showing you off to your grandfather. “victoria. you’re tall.” your grandfather said, looking at you closely. “i guess.” you uttered. “what’s your height?” he asked. “five-seven.” you stated. “that’s tall. she’s tall.” he said and glanced behind him at your grandmother. “hi dad.” your mother said walking into the room with your twin sister following behind closely. “lorelai, victoria is tall.” lorelai spoke. “oh, i know. it’s freakish. we’re thinking of having her studied at m.i.t .” lorelai spoke, joking. “huh.” your grandfather spoke, putting his glasses back on, looking at his newspaper. “champagne, anyone?” emily asked. the three of you grabbed one. “oh that’s fancy.” lorelai stated. “well, it’s not everyday that i have my girls here for the dinner on a day the banks are open.” emily said and placed down the champagne. lorelai hummed. “a toast. to victoria entering chilton and an exciting new phase in her life.” emily said and raised her glass. “here, here.” richard said, though not raising his head up from the newspaper. the five you drank the champagne. emily hummed. “mmm. well, let’s sit everyone.” emily said and sat down. rory sat in between your grandmother and mother though your mother hadn’t quite sat down yet. you sat next to your grandfather. “this is just wonderful. and education is the most important thing, next to family.” emily spoke out. “and pie.” your mother added, you stifled a laugh, though everyone was awkwardly quite. your mother sat down, emily glanced at her, her body facing the opposite direction. “joke, joke.” your mother spoke awkwardly, crossing her legs. “ah.” your grandmother let out. the two sipped on their champagne. rory awkwardly sitting there. your grandfather subtly gave you a newspaper he had next to him. you glanced at him and opened the newspaper, quite intrigued.
Tumblr media
everyone was sitting in their designated spots. lorelai and you sitting next to each other with rory on the opposite side and your grandfather and grandmother at opposite sides of each other. “victoria, rory, how do you like the lamb?” your grandmother spoke. “it’s good,” you and rory spoke. “too dry?” your grandmother asked. “no, it’s perfect,” you both voiced, your grandmother continued eating until lorelai spoke up. “potatoes could use a little salt, though.” lorelai said with a quite laugh. “excuse me?” your grandmother asked. “so, grandpa, how’s the insurance biz?” you asked, trying to get away from the awkward conversation. “oh, people die, we pay. people crash cars, we pay. people lose a foot, we pay.” your grandfather said before stuffing his face. “well, at least you have your new slogan.” lorelai voiced, you glanced at her. “and how are things at the motel?” your grandfather asked. “the inn? they’re great.” lorelai said before sipping on her wine. “lorelai’s the executive manager now. isn’t that wonderful?” your grandmother said. “speaking of which, christopher called yesterday.” your grandfather spoke. “speaking of which? how is that a speaking of which?” lorelai asked, almost in a mocking tone. “he’s doing very well in california. his internet start-up goes public next month. this could mean big things. very talented man, your father.” you grandfather added, speaking to you. lorelai looked at you. “she knows.” your mother spoke. “he always was a smart one, that boy. you must take after him.” you grandpa said. “speaking of which, i’m gonna get a coke. or a knife.” your mother said, speaking higher at the last sentence. your eyes wandered to your grandpa and grandma. rory looked at you, you shrugged. a while has passed by, just looking at your food. “i think i’m gonna go talk—“ you spoke but got interrupted. “no, i’ll go. you stay and keep your grandfather company.” your grandmother said and rubbed her hand and your shoulder passing by. ‘keep your voice down.’ ‘no, i can’t take it anymore.’ ‘tonight just seems like a nightmare’ ‘you’re dripping all over the floor.’ ‘why do you pounce on every single thing i say?’ mutters were spoken from the kitchen. the three of you at the table glanced at each other for a second, but continued to eat. ‘well, i wasn’t too proud to come here to you two begging for money for my daughter’s school, was i?’ your mother spoke from the kitchen, you glanced at the kitchen door, confused. ‘no! you certainly weren’t.—’ you heard from the kitchen. you looked at your plate, confused. you heard snoring from next to you and it was your grandfather.
Tumblr media
the three of you exited the house, coats on. you closed the door behind you. lorelai leaned against the wall, sighing with her hands in her pockets. “mom?” you asked. “i’m okay. i just… do i look shorter? ‘cause i feel shorter.” lorelai said, with a tone almost. “hey, how about i buy you and rory a cup of coffee?” you convinced them. “aw. yeah.” she said and got up from leaning against the wall to wrapping her hand around you and your sisters shoulder. “vic, you drive, though, ‘cause i don’t think my feet will reach the pedals.” your mother jokingly complained. the three of you laughed.
Tumblr media
“so, nice dinner at the grandparents’ house,” rory spoke one's mind. the three of you stepped onto the steps of luke’s.“oh yeah, her dishes have never been cleaner.” lorelai complained. “you and grandma seemed to have a nice talk.” you let out. “how much did you hear?” lorelai asked. “not much. you know, snippets.” you replied. “snippets?” lorelai raised a question. “little snippets?” you answered back quickly. “so basically everything?” lorelai requested. “basically, yes.” you replied. “well, the best-laid plans.” lorelai said and opened the diner door to luke’s. lorelai sighs and sets her bag down at the designated spot in the diner. the three of you sit down, setting your coats down. “i think it was really brave of you to ask them for money.” you spoke up. “oh, i so do not want to talk about it.” lorelai utters. “so, how many meals is it gonna take till we’re off the hook?” rory questioned. “i think the deli spread at my funeral will be the last one. hey.” lorelai said, looking at your face. “wait does that mean?” lorelai asked. you smiled. “can’t let a perfectly plaid skirt go to waste.” you said smiling. “aww, honey. you won’t be sorry.” lorelai said. luke came up to the table. wearing light blue button up dress shirt, with dress pants, and his hair-styled. he had his note pad ready and a pen. “wow! you-you look nice. really nice.” lorelai noted and smiled. “i… had a meeting earlier at the bank. they-they like collars. you look nice, too.” luke replied. you and rory look at each other smiling. “i had a event to go to,” lorelai replied. “so, what will you have?” luke asked. “coffee, in a vat.” lorelai replied, luke looked over at you and rory. “we’ll both have coffee also. and chili fries.” you answered. “that’s quite a refined palate you got there.” luke said and sighed, writing down the orders and walking away. lorelai looked at him walking away and turned back. “behold the healing powers of a bath. so, tell me about the guy.” lorelai let out. rory nodded at the last thing lorelai said, wanting to know about ‘the guy’ as well. “you know what’s really special about our relationship? the total understanding about the need for one’s privacy. i mean, you really understand boundaries.” you declared. “so tell us about the guy.” lorelai said and rory smiled. “mom!” you quitely yelled out. “is he dreamy?” she asked. “ugh that’s so ‘nick at night’. ” you groaned. “i’m gonna find out anyway.” lorelai said “really? how?” you genuinely asked. “uh, i’ll spy.” lorelai said with a sarcastic tone. luke came to the table with the food. “coffee, fries.” luke said placing down the food. you grabbed your coffee and about to take a sip until luke speaks up. “i can’t stand it. this is so unhealthy. victoria, rory ‘please, put down that cup of coffee. you do not wanna grow up to be like your mom.” luke spoke up. “sorry, too late.” you said and smiled at your mom. lorelai smiled at luke. he shook his head and walked away. lorelai looked at you and rory and had the biggest smile on her face.

Shit-- DAD!!!?!?
[Shifting series part 2]
A/N: some characters are aged up. I am also using an online Na’vi translator so my Na’vi might not be the best.
Tumblr media
The village was buzzing with worry; some scared some confused, some everything in between. The kids ran into the village with the two humans in their arms. Jake called in Norm and Dr. Max Patel but they wouldn’t be flying in till tomorrow.
“Jake, these sky people. They might belong to the others!” Neytiri yelled at Jake in a hushed tone.
“I know, I know, but they’re just kids—“
“Just because they are kids—“
“I know, Neytiri.” Jake took her hands and held them tenderly. “We still need to be cautious, but those kids need our help.”
Neytiri, huffed. “Fine,” she then stormed off somewhere down the coastline. Jake tried calling after her but to no avail. He sighed and walked towards the hut where the two humans stayed.
He peaked through the curtains; the two humans were lying down, still unconscious, but being tended to by Lo’ak and Tsireya.
“Hey, are they doing okay?” Jake asked, crouching bedside his son whom was changing the cold rag on the blonds forehead.
“They are—“ Tsireya pressed her slender fingers on the small wrists of the humans, “alive.”
“Still not awake though,” Lo’ak sighed. Jake nodded his head.
“Well,” Jake stood back up. “Repot back to me if anything, and make sure to rest yourself.” He pointed to the both of them.
“Yes sir,” the kids spoke in unison.

3:35 PM
Cecilia’s eyes fluttered open in a blur; colours of brown, red, blue, green, flooded her vision. She blinked away the crust clouding her vision, now being able to examine her surroundings. A hut. She was in a hut of thick stretched hide and coloured straw-like material weaved all around her; it resembled a wave, slanted on all sides like fluid water would.
She sat up, taking in her full surroundings. A brown blanket covered her, and to say it was over sized, would be an understatement; it was triple her body size. A water jug sat beside her and a wet rag sloppy laid on her lap. Cecilia looked to her side and there slept her cousin, Riel.
“Where the hell are we,” she whispered. Next thing she heard was a thump. She whipped her head around and saw a straw basket filled with things slumped on the floor. She looked up and after turning her neck up all the way, she met the bright golden eyes of a person, thing, unknown to her.
“Shit-- Dad!?!” The tall humanoid thing ran away with urgency, Cecilia’s spine shot up in shock, the feeling of cold chills shivered up her spine. Before her mind could think, he body moved; she scrambled to her cousins side and tried to wake her.
“Riel, Riel!” Cecilia yelled in a hushed tone. Riel didn’t move a muscle; she only moved like jello in her arms. Guess I’ll just have to drag you. Cecilia stands up shakily and gets a firm grip on Rheas boot and tries to drag the sleeping rock. Just before dying on the spot, only making as far as a corder of a meter, she froze in her spot.
Tall people; extremely tall blue people at the foot of the hut staring at the girl in shock, other than the relatively ‘shorter’ one trying to hold in a laugh.
Both parties exchanged a wave of worry, but instead of standing awkwardly like the blue people, Cecilia fainted but was quickly caught by the tallest. (Thank god this mans has long legs-- 10ft for nothing looking’ ass)
