The long introduction to this blog.
Well, i "accidentally" started reading books this year. It just kinda happened. Watching YT all evening got more and more boring. I need something more productive! Have a look at my friend, reading book after book. How do they do it? Wait, wasn't there a fantasy/romance by a content creator i follow for years and got into writing recently?
So this year in march I purchased the german funtasy romance Mona. Even read the whole 400ish pages. Took me about 2 months but I was proud. Finally a finished book!
So i went through my pile of shame and found the german edition of Good Omens. I bought it when the "TV" adoption came out, but didn't get the hang of it. The second attempt took me just two or three weeks.
In about a week I reread the german satire Qualityland and the sequel Qualityland 2.0. After that I pushed myself through Babylon Berlin, (Der nasse Fisch) a crime novel set in 1920s Berlin.
Dipped my toe into Warrior Cats! Yep I started this massive clusterfuck. No i won't learn the English names of the cats. The german ones confused me enough.
After that I read my favourite book of the year, which was the first one in english since school: Loveless. I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. Big fucking mood. Thats me. Im Ace too! I relate to her! Yes girl, let's go!!!
Also the second part in the Mona trilogy. Cant wait for the final book! More fantasy? What about Talus Part 2 and Part 1. Yep, I read them out of order. We should do this more often.
Does anyone know about Fabian - The story of a moralist by Erich Kästner? I googled if theres an english version, which exists, but does anyone read this book if they're not in german high school? Its really scary how relevant it still is.
Now its December 2022 and I am reading book number 12. And somehow it is Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet. Good Lord. What happened???
Big part of next year will be reading Priory of the orange tree. Im scared. 800 pages are a very high number for me. And i bought the original english version. Could take me at least 3 hard and long month to finsh.
If you're still with me, why do i start another book blog? I already do this on the light blue hell site! But more for myself (and friends who dont mute my hashtag i chose for it). But here i can do better shitpost, have more than 240 letters for rants AND can force me to write more in english. Yes, as i indirect stated and you already guessed it from the poor english and unfamiliar book titles, im from germany. But this blog should still work, even if theres no english version for some german books.
So, let's have some fun!

I got this book for .50 cents and I am obligated to share the different characterizations and dialogues from it to the movie. Spoilers: A lot of King Candy pages<3
The introduction for King Candy is basically the same up until Ralph burst in. “Heavens to unleavened bread” honestly make me cackle, Turbo could not swear in this game 💀 Also Vanollepe throwing candy in Ralph’s eyes give me Mabel attack glitter energy.
Interrogation scene.
“Tough taffy” help-
Turbo flashback was just one page and of course speedran through for the sake of the book. Pretty much the same.
King Candy’s manipulation tactics are shown a bit more, full on gaslighting💀
More talkative with threats until he was eaten by a cybug. “Game jumper” oh he’s one to talk.
The King CandyBug ‘fight’ lasted like 3 lines so not much there, but his demise definitely is different. If I’m not mistaken, wasn’t this what was planned in the story board? I’m probably remembering wrong, but yeah RIP.

Paleolithic Media Catalogue
Hello everyone :)
Short story first:
When I began brainstorming for my prehistoric story, I started wondering what other prehistoric fiction there is out there. I was not familiar with it and have not seen much. That's when I started my grand literature review and began a search for what fiction exist out there. I wanted to know what kinds of stories are being made with this time period. What are the common themes or recurring ideas (I found lots of humans and dinosaurs works. And time travel). Since I've had a growing collection on my computer, I decided I should keep on enlarging it and put it online. It's nowhere near complete. I'll slowly keep accumulating the collection as I find more. I only have fiction books and comics right now. I still need to work on the film section.
You can access the blog here!

As for where I am in my reading, the one's I've finished reading are Earth's Children series (book 1-4. Dropped it afterwards lol. I made a post on with fanart) Dance of the Tiger and it's sequel Singletusk (They were good! I'll upload my review on the blog), and Sisters of the Wolf (It was ok!). I got my hands on The Inheritors and excited to start reading it. I REALLY want to read the Shiva trilogy, but I found no PDF online... and it's out of print :( There is certainly old copies on ebay. And I want to read Chronicles of Ancient Darkness. There seem to be lots of good books out there.

A short introduction to this blog.
I "accidentally" started reading books this year. Started in march/april with my pile of shame, ended the year with Shakespeare. As one does.
Im from Germany, but will mainly post in english. (I somehow have to get more comfortable writing in english.) So i guess you'll just be recognising about half of the books i'll be reading?
Anyways, let's have fun!

im so mad that this is a side blog account and not a main account. i started this blog when i was still relatively new to tumblr and i think i was… like. fourteen years old or something. i never thought i would continue for this long, and i never knew so many people would like the content i put out here (i have over 9k followers which is literally mind-blowing, like wow….).
because this isnt a main account, i cant respond to replies left on my posts, i cant really reply to anyone unless i reblog !! i cant even follow people with this blog, it just comes up as my main blog (which is not pjo-related… rip my failed attempts at organising my fandoms to different blogs). so my avenues of interaction with a lot of you are seriously impeded.
so i just want to say i am so thankful for all of you, i read every single person’s tags who reblog my stuff, i read all of your replies and every time im crying screaming rolling around on the ground in agony over the fact i CANT REPLY!!
i know my posts are super inconsistent these days, im glad so many are still here! i think i may change some of my content eventually (never gonna get rid of the incorrect quote stuff, i’ll just be adding some other things like pjo headcanons or analyses or something), just to spice some stuff up on here.
