i think all your ros are neat as hell! i don’t see any of them as particularly.. gendered? like all their versions Make Sense to me. i personally prefer male ros (as i prefer to play male mcs and we don’t have heterosexuality in this house, although i will probably make female/nb mcs and have f/nb ros in the future at some point) so i tend to think of the ros as mostly male since that’s how i play, but i don’t think of the characters like that if that makes sense. i don’t know, it’s like. MY yniol and MY evaine etc may be dudes, but yniol or evaine as characters/concepts are not necessarily dudes. the female or nb ros are also neat as hell and like. they’re the same character still. i don’t see the characters as more or less feminine/masculine, or see the ros as coded/reading like a specific gender.. i’m trying to understand HOW the ros would feel too “feminine”.. like because they’re gentle? because some of them have “girly” interests??? huh???? those are not actually Gendered. i think gentle giants and male ros in dresses with long hair are great. super neat. heck yeah. gender is Fake anyway. or like. gender identity is obviously not fake and everyone’s totally valid. but. gender is a little vague and fluid as a rule, for me. i forgot where i was going with this. what was the question again?

Ok that's such a big compliment for me...🥺 maybe it's because I perceive gender in a fluid way, but I tried to make the gender selectable characters as real as possible without falling into nauseous stereotypes... because honestly I fell into the world of IF because I was sick and tired of the usual feminine/masculine gender tropes and the heteronormativity of most games/books...

So, for me, hearing that I managed to accomplish what I wanted is so calming. I know I overthink about this issue in particular, so sometimes it's good to hear an outsider perspective.

Also yes, I hate how gentleness/softness is perceived as a feminine trait... come on

Lowkey obsessed with the idea of Cafe Uzumaki being a hotbed for former ability user criminals. Like sure so far it's only Lucy who's decided to get a job in the cafe....

But it would be SO FUNNY to me if all the sorta-redeemed antagonists also just started ending up at the cafe if ONLY for the fact that if anything like Episode 30 happens again, the former murder-repressed ability users would just....grab their guns and go feral on the attackers.

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.
