The 3rd and final 3D Virtual Live just finished streaming and yay, we got to hear the final new track from Zombie Land Saga FranChouChou The Best Revenge, which releases on September the 28th! Hosting this week were No. 5 and No. 6 along with No. 0 because she’s legendary.
There was a lot of cute banter including mentions of doing radio calisthenics, the girls going fishing, No. 6 making ink illustrations of the fish that were caught, and after the final song the rest of the group dropped by (via wire, which No. 4 did not enjoy) to announce that Franchouchou will be doing a proper on-stage live next month (23rd of October) at Makuhari Messe (and yes, it will be streamed as well). The live will combine 3D animation with the real Franchouchou’s performance, which sounds cool!
I’m pretty exhausted so I won’t go into too much detail. Songs this live were Mezame Returner, Oikaze Travelers, and the new song, We Are Fran Chou Chou!
“We Are Fran Chou Chou!” ups what we had last month with Ai penning the lyrics to “Beginning” by having the girls introduce one another with lyrics they’d penned and music they seem to have directed (it’ll be interesting to see Tatsumi’s score for this song). So No. 6 opens by singing about No. 1, No. 1 follows by singing about No. 2, etc. No. 0′s part (which features a very “We Will Rock You” beat , A+) featured a nice little dance from everyone’s legendary fave.
Apparently No. 5 wrote about 70 pages re: No. 6 and even though they weren’t exactly great for lyrics, No.6 treasures them. They have such an adorable sisterly relationship ;o;
No 6. also makes mention of their producer secretly filming them and saying, “This is what you’re like right now, keep it up” but also telling them to shut up which is... yeah, that’s him.
I’ll sidetrack a little here but as we saw in the 2nd season, the girls are absolutely preparing for a life without Tatsumi whether they realise it or not. Ai writing “Beginning” for last month was a big flag, but now “We Are FranChouChou” that they all collaborated on? The songs were about the only thing they weren’t doing themselves by the end of s2 (makeup being mediocre aside)... and the whole thing about him filming them... yeaaaaah.
I’ll be interested to see if we get more movie info at the live next month, anyway. These streaming virtual lives weren’t the best things ever but they were cute, fun ways to see the characters and hear the music again so I enjoyed them quite a bit. I can’t wait to get my copy of the album so I can listen to “Beginning” on repeat!
(I smiled when I saw Oobari Masami tweeting about his love for the series. He should definitely go to Saga!)

reg has always been into journalism but the reason why he decided to focus on boxing is because of sirius!! it was a way to combine his passion AND his appreciation for his brother so it seemed like the perfect idea
as u can see the black brothers have a great relationship in this one and they left home together (but reg still talks to their parents on occassion)
james' trainer used to be his dad since monty was a very famous and admired boxer until he retired but . some shit happened and now james doesn't even speak to his father
sirius and james do not get along in this fic . they're rivals and james is threatening to take sirius' spot at the top so . they're openly hostile with each other and fans always take sides
regulus secretly enjoys being forced to interview james bc he finds him intriguing (and really fucking attractive but that's neither here nor there)
lily and james are sort of friends here bc they used to hook up (they still kinda do when the story starts) and reg gets soooo jealous whenever he sees them together
despite them getting along . there WILL be black brothers angst . considering reg is fucking the enemy
james and reg are always indirecting each other on twitter
james is a Prick in this one, he's my most arrogant james so far and he has . terrible anger issues .
this is one of the main reasons why his relationship with reg is so messy during most of the story (james does grow and change quite a bit throughout it tho)
barty loses a lot of his fights on purpose and lets himself be hurt because he has a very concerning obsession with the nurse (yes evan is the nurse)
barty and james' beef is even more legendary than sirius and james' beef simply bc their rivalry is absolutely unhinged and they lose all sense of decorum or sportsmanshin when they're in each other's vicinity
this fic is gonna be very explicit like . oby level explicit . it'll take a bit to start but once it does.. Yeah
peter and sirius are besties in this one and believe me the irony isn't lost on me
james and reg are caught fucking a few times . and it never stops them from continuing fucking . in fact, james gets even more enthusiastic
reg is trans in this one <3
genuinely considering writing a rosekiller side story in this one bc . i'm kinda obsessed with them here
reg's only friend (apart from barty once he meets him and his brother) is pandora, who's one of his coworkers and the one who has to hear all the graphic details about his hookups with james
she's a lot more interested in the pretty ginger referee she sees whenever she accompanies reg to the matches tho..
i'm planning to be . kinda realistic when it comes to portraying the repercussions of getting involved with a famous athlete (especially considering reg's job) and the whole relationship going public
james' most important ritual/good luck charm involves reg getting on his knees <3 after they start hooking up he refuses to get on the ring without reg sucking him off first
remus is very against james getting involved with reg (even tho he knows that mf is gonna end up doing whatever the hell he wants)
james and remus have been friends since they were kids so despite all the bickering and arguing they're very close
james doesn't wear glasses often because of all the fighting (but reg likes him better with them)

Leander Characteristics
So for the past posts about Leander I have been talking about the lines that stood out to me but now I am going to be talking about his character design. I am also not sure how into theories I am going to be going into with Leander because there are a lot out there but I think I am just gonna be talking about the main things or facts that I think are heavily implied.
So lets first talk about Leanders name because I think that is the biggest hint we have for his background.
So I am just gonna throw a bunch of screenshots talking about Leander the Greek Mythology and also the flower and then I will talk about it after
OK, so we know from this Greek Mythology that Hero and Leander were in love and that Leander would swim over to meet with Hero. We also know that Hero is a priestess of Aphrodite. And what is Aphrodite the Goddess of?? That is right, Sexual Love and Beauty, Which Leander shows throughout the games demo soooo, take that as you will. Also I might bring up the virgin point later but for now im just gonna leave it here. Also in the third pic, Leander is describes as using charm(which again, Leander uses a lot though out the demo) and that, Hero being a virgin, is not something that Aphrodite would want being the goddess of love and sex. So once they become a....Situationship????? Leander keeps visiting Hero every night, but one night he gets drowned. Now as of right now, I don't think the torch or light thing is super important because I don't think there is anything in the game that mentions it so im not gonna talk about it right now either. But we then find out that Hero finds Leander's body dead on the shore but he is holding flowers in his hand....Remind me again what the first thing Leander gives to us is hmmmmmm*sideways glance* So then Hero starts wailing "O Lender" over and over, and so that is how the flower, Oleander, Got it's name. And guess what, Oleander just happens to be super toxic. Uhhhhh does this imply something for Leander's character, I'll let you decide. And even though this is known to be a super toxic flower it is still used for landscape because it is considered pretty or attractive, beautiful even. And we all know by now what Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of. I also don't know if it will become a big thing later in the game with the fact that Hero then also joins Leander in death but again, as of right now, ill just leave this here. So then you may be asking, If Leander died then how would he be alive in the game?? Well I am glad you asked.
Through out Leander's character, there are multipule instances of the idea of youth, or rebirth. Again if we go back to the flowers Leander gives us, they are noted to be white Lilles, now what do white lilies symbolize???
Ok so if Leander did die, he somehow came back to life so yes, rebirth.
While looking for Leander at first we are looking out for his dagger shaped earing, but what is this dagger going through exactly? Well, I think it is the Ouroboros symbol. And what does that mean exactly?
We can see this design on Leander's earring like I said
Actually without closely looking at this, it just looked like a normal circle but up close, it is a snake eating itself. Again with the theme of rebirth.
Now when we go to look at the symbol on Leander's belt, the whole entire structure of the belt looks like the symbol that represents the mother, maiden and the crone.
So the main point for this symbol is youthfulness or in a way, rebirth
Now when looking at the middle of the belt the symbol looks like the symbol for Aphrodite which Leander's lover, Hero, was a priestess too, they look....pretty similar right? Also just another note that doves and sparrows are also a symbol for Aphrodite andddddd what does Ais call Mhin and the MC for their nickname hmmmmmm???
okokok, so there are a lot of symbols for rebirth on Leander but what else. By now one can assume that Leander died and had been revived or rebirthed. But is there something that also leads to this conclusion without it being a symbol, why yes there is. In fact, we can see that a core color of Leander's character is green and we all know that green is related to growth or growing or rebirth??? Thus the green color leading us to talk about Leander's eyes. So lets actually talk about Leanders eye color
I actually saw a post about this so this is not my discovery but his eye color is Paris Green and guess what a fun little fact about this paint is. Yep! you guessed it, it is indeed, toxic.
So that is so slay for Leander. In fact, it's not even used now because of how toxic it is
So, so far we have a toxic flower AND a toxic Paint that goes with Leanders character.
But I want to stay on Leander's eyes for just another sec because there is also something more interesting going on in them then just the color. When we first see Leander in the CG Leander is using magic and so along with all the other sparks around him that are happening while doing his magic, there is also a "spark" or a glint sort to speak in his eye
Now, this is not super unusual because in other games or novels, the characters eyes or hair have been describe to "light up" when using magic but.....This glint never goes away
Now I can understand while using magic there would be a glint but when he is not doing anything? Unless...he is using magic constantly. I mean if he was dead, and he did get rebirthed or revived, who says it was a one time thing. What if he constantly has to use magic to keep him alive or something along the lines of that.
So if Leander did get revived or has been rebirthed but has kept all his knowledge it would explain some of the lines that stuck out to me when interacting with Leander. I mean if he is not actually in his 30's like people think he is but he is actually much older, old enough to have Greek Mythology about him, it would explain why he is so powerful or such a good mage. Like I said, I have talked about this in my previous posts about Leander and the lines that were weird to me but there are quite a few lines or situations that tell us that Leander is very strong. So lets look at a few of these situations...
First when Leander initially summons the flowers, if you choose the Alchemist background, you note that he did not need a spell circle, he just straight up summoned the flowers. And from further dialogue we can come to the conclusion that this is not normal and Leander must be a "very gifted mage"
Second when we tell Leander we are cursed and then he seems very curious and asks us if it is "ancestral or more recent". We know that Leander did not go to study at the Senobium soooooo how would he know about curses. I can kinda understand the "more recent" curses. But ancestral.....How would he even know about it and why is he so interested in it?? I mean if he really is the Leander from the Greek Myth then, Leander would be pretty old, old enough to learn about curses and even more so for ancestral curses.
Then when we talk to Leander about picking fights with Ais and trying to kill him, he just brushes it off completely and he is not the least bit worried. I mean I feel like any normal mage would be worried even if they were very good at what they do. Soooo I feel like you would have to be around a pretty long time to not be the least bit scared or nervous about messing with a monster.
And this will finally be my last point about Leander's character. It is his motto on the Bloodhound poster which is, "as above, so below". At first glance it does not seem that significant. I mean the Bloodhounds are all about helping the lower class so it is more equal to the upper class so that is probably what the motto means. This is also reinforced when you learn the fact that Leander is the son of an old Hightown Family and then runs away and joins in with the Lowtown so ya, they are trying to bridge the wage gap. But maybe, just maybe, If Leander is the Leander that died in the Greek Myth, it actually stands from something like...Heaven and Earth? Two different planes where one is above and the other is below??

BREAKING MY SILENCE
I'll probably make this on Twitter also, though I doubt it'll really attract (on both Tumblr and Twitter) many people but OH MY FUCKING GOD. THIS NEEDS TO BE SAID.
I know OTHER people have probably talked about this (or maybe not)— plus the Harry Potter fandom is probably dead at this point or maybe still thriving somehow in ways I don't really know but LILY FUCKING EVANS MADE THE WORST DECISION POSSIBLE AFTER ENDING HER AND SEVERUS' FRIENDSHIP.
Look, she was like practically a minor character yet was kinda important to the plot but honestly she deserved to be with someone better than James Potter. No hate or dumb reasons are gonna be thrown at Lily but girlie was dumb as fuck entirely for having a kid with her friends bully who made his school life HELL.
It's been on my mind the more I think about Severus' past and James and Sirius bullying.
I genuinely like Sirius as a character but bro cannot be bullying Snape, like sweetheart we know your an inbred rich child but that doesn't mean you should bully someone who's the LITERAL opposite of you. (expect for neglect and abuse)
James was a fucking jock.
LISTEN & IMAGINE. A friend of yours who you've know for maybe about 6 years calls you the worst insult ever, in a fit of rage, you break the friendship and ofc, leave. That's genuinely completely understandable to one who has common sense.
BUT THEN, after that, you go on to marry your ex friends bully that HAS MADE YOUR EX FRIENDS SCHOOL LIFE MISERABLE AND SHITTY.
Sure it's COMPLETELY understandable how Lily can be mad at Severus for calling her a "Mudblood" because that's a canonical slur against muggle-borns, really, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN SHE HAD TO MARRY SEVERUS' BULLY WHO BULLIED HIM RELENTLESSLY, and that's so fucked up in many ways. And YES. As far as I'm concerned, Lily seemed to only like James because:
He wasn't strongly associated with the dark arts
Wasn't associated with future death eaters/followers of Voldemort
I don't think it's confirmed how long James and Sirius had been bullying Snape but it makes me SOOOO fucking livid that like... HOW THE FUCK DO YOU ACTUALLY LIKE A CHARACTER IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THEIR FLAWS AND HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS? (*Cough Cough* James and Sirius "fans" *COUGH*)
If I'm being 100% honest, I've never seen anyone say "James/Sirius is better than Snape" ever and not even ONCE in my lifetime being in the Harry Potter fandom.
There's really not much on Snape's past during his school years but in all honesty, Lily Evans was dumb as fuck for dating her friends bully like okay, MAYBE James and Sirius did take accountability at one point and confessed to Lily. JUST MAYBE. But I don't remember nor heard anyone saying that was true nor JK Rowling saying anything about them taking accountability.
AND I DON'T THINK THEY EVEN APOLOGIZED TO SNAPE EITHER. (Maybe regretted it but that's not taking accountability for one's actions, perhaps Remus did but never heard anyone saying that was true either because it's probably just a headcannon and Remus probably didn't even bully Snape at all)
Lily Evans... I love you and all and I don't hate you... You just disappointed me.
LIKE IF I WERE IN LILY'S SHOES I WOULDN'T GET TOGETHER WITH JAMES BECAUSE MY FRIEND HAS ALREADY LIVED A HARD LIFE AT HOME, (she probably didn't know but I would've ask Snape what his home life was and would've saved him unlike Lily) AND JUST BECAUSE SNAPE WASN'T RICH NOR GOOD LOOKING DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET A FUCKING PRIVILEGE TO BULL HIM. OR JUST BECAUSE HE FUCKING EXISTED.
Also I get that Lily was mainly mad at Severus because of his Slytherin friends and that he called her a "Mudblood" BUT IGNORING THE FACT HE GOT BULLIED RELENTLESSLY, NEARLY DIED TO A "prank", LIVED IN AN ABUSIVE HOUSEHOLD (she didn't knew that but imma just put it there anyways) AND THAT HE HAD HOPED THAT HOGWARTS WOULD HAVE MADE HIS LIFE BETTER BUT IT GOT DESTROYED, IS UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING AND FLABBERGASTING TO ME.
No hate to people who genuinely ship James and Lily (love the fanarts) but Lily deserved better than that. Perhaps she also knew about the werewolf incident but if I were her I would've BITCH SLAPPED Sirius to remind him of being inbred and stupid as fuck BECAUSE WHAT????
A prank—as far as I acknowledge, shouldn't put someone's life in DANGER and in a LIFE OR DEATH situation SIRIUS 'INBRED' BLACK.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE YET TALKING ABOUT THIS AND SHITTING ON LILY (for being flawed ofc yet dumb as shit). Lily in general is a good person but she had flaws that needed to be talked about and HERE I AM.
James & Sirius bullying was ignorant and really unjustifiable, Peter and Remus should've known better but I don't ENTIRELY blame them but they should've known fucking better. Lily WAS understandable up until she got together with James and I kinda wanna bitch slap her right now.
Honestly if I were Lily, I genuinely would've gotten together with Snape and ACTUALLY helped him like any person with COMMON SENSE would do.
And to end it off with a cherry on top. James and Sirius bullying Snape should be talked about more and we should shit on them for their flaws yet ignorance actions that they didn't even try to take any single OUNCE of accountability for. Just because you learned from your bullying mistakes and "becoming a more mature and better person" isn't justifiable and shows your blind fucking ignorance to your affects of bullying to other people you dumb dipshit fucker.

So like with ganqing
Who's the Sun and who's the Moon?
Hm. Ganyu's the moon, Keqing's the sun.
Ganyu's banner is titled "Plenilune Gaze", where plenilune refers to the full moon, and according to the wiki the chinese title's literal meaning is also "The Appearance of Moon Guard". She also mentioned moongazing in her birthday mail. Generally the moon and night just fit her in a way i think. She's quiet and withdrawn, her work for the Liyue Qixing as general secretary for thousands of years is immense (she's not just a "secretary", she's a "coordinator of the web of information" and she's been assisting them with all their decisions and negotiations) but she remains humble, and kinda in the shadows. The Liyue Qixing is the governmental body and everyone knows that, but Ganyu supports them quietly.
Most ppl might not even realize how important she's been for Liyue's growth. Idk how many ppl realize the effects of moon on the earth irl (like stabilizing the climate, causing the tides), but maybe i can somewhat make a connection here lol. Moon as the earth's companion, perhaps a little more subtle and hidden abt it's influence compared to the sun, and Ganyu as Liyue's companion, being the same way, compared to Rex Lapis, other prominent adepti, or Liyue Qixing.
And she's a bit associated with glaze lilies in official art and some mentions in the game, flowers that we can see bloom only at night in-game. Moon also feels very melancholic, so it fits ganyu with her war veteran, thousands years old, half-qilin half-human baggage.
Keqing's possible sun interpretation might already lie in her name.
When weather clears, we usually mean that the grey rainy clouds disappeared and now we have a bright, blue sky, with the sun. And Keqing can be seen as the sun that brings change to Liyue, with her bold beliefs about humans taking matters of their life and nation into their own hands, after Liyue being ruled by Rex Lapis for many years. The sun brings a new day, Keqing brings a new era. Her personality is very bold and energetic, and she's definitely kind and cares about Liyue and the people, but ig you can also get a little burned by that strong, straightforward energy lol. It's just how she is. She's not trying to be mean, but can appear like it sometimes.
Tho "clear sky" doesn't necessarily have to happen during the day. It could be during night too, and that's when you can see the stars. Which brings me to more stars-related look at Keqing's character, especially when her title "Yuheng" means the brightest star in the Big Dipper constellation (i think it's a literal chinese name of the star, in english it's called Alioth). And ofc she likes stargazing, and considers it a good reward for the hard work she does at the Qixing.
Soooo in a way i also kinda like the idea of moon and the stars for ganqing. I'm very attached to Keqing's star association hhh. Tho the sun is also a star.
But yeah, between those two i associate the moon with Ganyu, and the sun with Keqing. Melancholic, quiet half-qilin, close yet distant supporter of humanity in Liyue, and her revolutionary, bright and bold, ball of energy wife lmao

I cant sleep and im just thinking about how much I hate Lily and James potter as characters. Lily had SOOOO much potential as a character but jk rowling just doesn’t know how to write women (fucking ironic yet typical of a terf to reduce women to their most bare minimum). Like lily is the whole ass reason Harry is alive and the whole ass reason Voldemort died the first time yet all she is reduced to is just generally “nice” (which I have beef with considering how she treated her “best friend”), green eyes, smart, and died for her son. Meanwhile James is sooooooo much worse! He goes from arrogant rich pureblood bully jock who threatens to hex a girl if she doesn’t go out with him and mercilessly harassing said girl’s best friend to just marrying said girl??? And like his growth and redemption is just ????? Hes not even really a character at all. I’m so upset that there are so many people who know the Potters who tell Harry about them and it’s always the same three or four things about them yet we, as readers, are supposed to just be like oh no it’s so sad and tragic they died when like they were such deeply unlikable and two dimensional characters??? Like for fucks sake the prophecy said they defied Voldemort THREE times that sounds in theory so badasss and cool and could have made for some very cool lore yet that is not explored at all!
Lily who we are told over and over again is a very nice character really isnt nice at all in all the flashbacks (she blames her best friend for an act she also committed, excuses a group of people trying to kill him and calls him ungrateful for not being thankful they decided to not go through with it to save their own asses but draws the line at dark magic that is implied to not be anywhere close to as dangerous as the prank^tm, almost smiles at her best friend being sexually assaulted, and then dates then marries the guy who committed said SA on her childhood best friend, harassed muggles and threatened to hex her if she didnt date him) yet we’re supposed to be like omg the angel! Like no!
Jk rowling fumbled the potters so absolutely fucking badly and made them deeply unlikable characters!
She could have done SOOOOOO much with James. Have him realize holy shit “I’m subconsciously participating in blood supremacists ideologies let me not do that” and that would have been so interesting! Have him actually grow as a person and show what made him want to fight for what is right have him own up to his mistakes and actually grow!
As for Lily, the whole having a friend who went down the wrong path could have been executed so much better. She could have stuck up for her friend in front of her sister instead of blaming him, she could have told severus “your group of friends are just as bad as the people who are bullying you” instead of “aT LeAsT tHeY dOnT uSe DaRk mAgIc”. It literally would have given her as a character and the story so much more depth to have her actually be upset and heart broken about having to end a long term friendship because it became toxic.
It’s so frustrating looking at these two characters who are important to the story and see nothing but wasted potential.

this turned into mostly a rant about the fandom and how they ignore my fav girl sjjsjsjs
funnily enough i used to dislike mary. or maybe dislike is a strong word. i just found myself so apathetic to her bc guess what guys??? she has no real character outside of particular aesthetics and ships. and then she wiped her memory so it's not like it's important what or who she was anyway. but she's also literally my favorite character rn (right next to sirius) soooo... this is what happens when you sit down and explore characters by yourself instead of letting fanon guide you through everything.
the thing with mary is that she doesn't exist really. not as a character with real personality traits anyway. she's mentioned as lily's friend which most likely puts her in gryffindor and we know she was a muggleborn because mulciber attacked her and... that's about it. you can't really expect anything better when the harry potter books barely gave any of the main women characteristics outside of motherhood, let alone some random character mention twice. BUT THAT'S THE FUN PART! we could've had so much fun with mary bc she's literally just a name and we could've made her anything and yet she's absolutely nothing bc MISOGYNY YAYY!

it may look like you're working with nothing but you're really not. if she's sorted into gryffindor she must've had their defining traits. she didn't back out of the wizarding war because she was a coward. it must've been something else. if she was lily's friend she must've been similar to her in some way. they must've shared experiences of what it was like being a muggleborn in an environment that literally wanted you dead. why did mulciber attack her in particular? was she quiet and timid and he thought she would be the perfect target? or was she opinionated and loud and mulciber wanted to scare it out of her? it's not much but we've created more out of less
mary literally isn't allowed to exist outside of men and ships. even then it's the male gaze lesbianism of going on a picnic, braiding each other's hair, whatever. can she not be a complex character?? why not?? even when we are writing her in slash fanfics why can she not have any personal issues to sort through?? if you don't care about her just say it??? it's obvious when someone includes her in content bc they just feel bad (she's become peter 2.0 tbh) and don't want anyone hating bc she's not included in a particular post. don't half ass her character bc you're scared of backlash. it's not misogynistic to just not be interested in a character (though it's important to unpack why you would get bored by a character most see as a woc yet be interested in a death eater man despite having the same amount of information on both of them). don't get me started on people who ship her with peter so they can tie everything in a nice little bow and it's all perfect. literally shut up.
anyway mary is beautiful and smart and the it girl of hogwarts. she taught all the other girls how to do their make up because her older sister taught her and she always dressed up for hogsmeade trips even though her friends made fun of her for putting in so much effort. she uses cherry scented everything because she loves the way it smells and she twirls her hair and blows bubbles with her gum. she winks at guys who stare at her to get free drinks and she's never looking for a fight but she'll pull on anyone's hair if they provoke her enough. she didn't understand why lily made such a big deal about james asking her out and rejecting him when he's literally a fit guy who seems nice enough?? maybe she didn't understand how someone could reject a real relationship when given the chance to have one because none of the guys cared enough to look at her like that.

Masterlist
Summary: Grammy Award winning Emma Danvers is the first to say she has a pretty good life. But what happens when it implodes around her and it looks like things will never be the same again?

Robyn woke up with a jump from feeling heavy licks and pressure on her torso. In the morning twilight she is able to make out Lily standing over her and feels the labrador continuously shaking her with her paws.
“Wha? Lil?”
With a small bark Lily quickly jumps down and runs to Emma’s bed. She gives Robyn a mournful look before carefully jumping up to Emma's side.
Robyn sleepily rubs her eyes and then realises what is happening as she registers Emma’s faint groans and gasps of breath.
Stumbling to her feet, Robyn quickly moves to Emma’s side and sees Lily lying on Emma’s torso.
“Em, hey, you’re okay. You’re safe.” Robyn repeats over and over as she tries to soothe the agitated blonde.
Finally Emma’s husky groans stop and her breathing returns to some normality. Suddenly her eyes shoot open as she jerks awake.
“Hey, hey, you’re okay. You’re in Midvale, you had a nightmare. Everything is okay.” Robyn says softly, trying to reassure a clearly frightened Emma who has tears streaming down her face. “Take a deep breath for me, Em.”
Robyn watches Emma who follows her hand motion of when to breathe and exhale.
“That’s it, you’re doing great.”
A gentle knock on the door makes them look over and J’onn quietly enters.
“Everything okay?”
“Nightmare.” Robyn responds and J’onn nods.
He walks over to Emma’s side and gently tucks a few damp hairs away from Emma’s face. “How bout we take Lily for a walk?” He offers and Emma barely nods. “I’ll go change and be right back.”
Emma watches him leave and moves to get up, she stumbles slightly and Robyn has to reach out to stop her from falling.
“Easy Em.” Robyn whispers and watches the blonde nod and sluggishly pick up her clothes from yesterday to change into. Robyn decides to do the same, figuring out she won’t be able to get back to sleep anyway.
Emma gives her a questioning look but Robyn just shrugs and follows her down to the back room where Eliza is filling two flasks with hot liquid.
“Thought you’d like some hot chocolate on your walk.” Eliza smiles lovingly at her daughter and Emma gives her a small smile back. Eliza tightly hugs her daughter, feeling worried at how her eyes aren’t as bright as they should be.
“Ready to go?” J’onn asks, holding out her coat and trainers for her. Emma nods and puts them on, she snorts at how quickly Lily’s tail wags while she waits patiently by the door.
The trio leave and Robyn sits heavily on the stool at the island, resting her head on her fist.
“I’m making myself a coffee, would you like one too?”
Robyn looks tiredly up at the older blonde. “Yes please.”
Eliza begins preparing the drinks and Robyn sighs heavily as she rubs her forehead.
“Are you alright?” Eliza asks the brunette.
“Yea, I’ve just never been good at being woken up quickly. Or so early.”
“Jeremiah, Emma and Alex’s father, was the same.” Eliza chuckles and places the mug in front of Robyn and sits next to her on the other stool. “One time he got up to feed Emma but I could hear her fussing. I looked over at them and he’d fallen back to sleep with the bottle teat by the side of her mouth. Poor baby couldn’t get to it.”
“He sounds like he was a good man.” Robyn smiles at the older woman.
“He was. He always believed in our girls.” Eliza sips her coffee.
“Must have been hard for you.” Robyn says softly, remembering the story Emma told her of her father. How she holds onto what he was like before he was captured and changed. Seeing the sadness with Eliza’s eyes, Robin decides to change the topic. “Do you have those photos of Em as a baby?”
“Of course!” Eliza chuckles and finds Emma’s photo book. “I always wanted to make sure every milestone was recorded for each of my girls.”
“Your science background is showing.” Robyn jokes as she opens the book, smiling at a toddler Alex hugging Eliza’s swollen stomach.
“I guess it is.” Eliza smiles and they continue looking through the photos. Eliza points at mostly all of them and tells Robyn the story that goes along with it.
The first time Emma walked on her first birthday to try and follow Alex. The pride the family felt at her first word, how she quickly started singing and bouncing to music. On and on the stories go and Robyn smiles at the pride within Eliza’s eyes.
They near the end of the book and Eliza excuses herself to go get changed. Robyn continues to flick through and comes to the photo showing Emma and Lena beaming at the camera.
Robyn taps the surface of the island in time with a song on the radio while she sips her coffee. She stares at the photo and can’t help but feel torn. She knows Emma loves her family but something isn’t sitting right with the Brit.
She hears footsteps upstairs and knows the others will be down soon to begin the next session with Alistair.
She ponders on what else could be said as she feels a lot of the main issues have been aired. She sips her drink and wonders whether she can air her thoughts about a certain raven haired woman.
“Good morning.” Lena says politely while cautiously entering the room to the coffee machine.
“Morning.” Robyn utters back coolly, causing Lena to turn and gaze at her.
“You don’t like me do you?”
“No shit Sherlock.” Robyn sasses and Lena’s shoulders deflate and turns back to the coffee machine. Robyn frowns at this sign of weakness being shown by the CEO.
“I completely understand, I would feel the same way if I was in your position.” Lena starts the machine and leans against the kitchen counter.
“Well, let’s hope you never have to be in a position like this.” Robyn growls and taps the cup in her hands. “To see someone you love believe she is worth nothing, that something is so wrong with her that she doesn’t deserve love. That she questions every interaction she has and shuts down when things get too much.”
Lena lowers her head but before she can respond some of the others enter the room.
“Everything okay?” Kara asks and makes a beeline for Lena.
“Yup.” Robyn says, emphasising the end of the word and stands to go over to Lucy who is patting the cushion next to her for Robyn to sit on.
Kara places a comforting hand on Lena’s shoulder as she looks in concern at Lena’s sad face. “Is she upsetting you?”
Lena shakes her head but Kara wraps her arms around her anyway. They hug and Lena buries her head into Kara’s shoulder.
“Okay everyone, please gather around.” Alistair says, grabbing everyone’s attention.
Kara and Lena break apart, Kara takes her best friend’s hand and leads Lena to the circle of chairs. “Where’s Emma?” Kara asks with a frown as she notices her sister’s absence.
“She’s taken Lily for a walk.” Robyn explains and see’s Alex tense up. “J’onn went with her.” She quickly explains and Alex nods in appreciation for the information.
Movement outside the door catches everyone’s attention and a knock echoes around the room. Kara zips over and opens it.
“Agent Reiff?”
“Good morning, may I come in?”
“Oh, yes, please.” Kara steps aside and the agent enters.
“Director.” Agent Reiff nods at Alex who approaches quickly.
“What’s going on?” Lucy asks as she looks between the two. Alex motions for Reiff to continue.
“We managed to do the clean up before the news crews got there, made the site look as if the storm caused the mudslide rather than a boulder breaking cleanly in half. Agent Vasquez wanted me to show you this.” Reiff pulls out a tablet and holds it out for Alex.
The redhead takes it and swipes through the photos. The Danvers crinkle making an appearance on her face.
“Alex?” Eliza asks in concern.
“How many?”
“We estimate roughly six bottles or more.” Agent Reiff answers quietly, aware how delicate this information may be.
Alex sighs lightly. “And the contents?”
“Alien alcohol.”
“Shit.” Alex mutters. “Okay, thank you. Have agents continue to monitor and patrol the area. We will review when we are back at the DEO.”
Agent Reiff nods and Alex hands back the tablet. She stares ahead for a moment, deep in thought while the agent heads back out of the house.
“Alex?” Sam gets up and heads over to her fiance, clearly seeing that Alex was getting more and more agitated. “You okay?”
Shaking her head Alex marches out of the room and up the stairs.
“She’s going to find the rest of the bottles.” Alistair explains to the group, immediately causing Kara and Sam to run after the redhead.
“But Emma won’t like Alex going through her things.” Lena says with wide eyes and quickly follows them. She rushes up the stairs and hears Kara and Alex arguing.
“-calmly ask her about it!”
“Kara! Let go of me!” Alex snaps as Lena stands in the doorway. She pauses at the sight of the opened suitcase on the floor full of empty bottles and Kara firmly holding onto Alex.
“No! Not until you’ve calmed down.” Kara says determinedly. “We are trying to help her, not shame her or cause more friction.”
Sam steps forward and tenderly moves Alex’s hair out of her eyes. “I understand why you would be upset by this, but Kara is right.”
The stairs creak and Lena’s head spins to see who it is. Emma stares back at Lena in confusion and Lena’s stomach drops.
“She’s here.” Lena calls and the trio freeze. Emma hesitantly approaches her ex, and looks into her room. Her eyes immediately land on the suitcase of bottles and she swallows deeply.
Her chest stings with hurt at witnessing her things being rummaged through and her shame burns her cheeks. However, she takes a deep breath and steps into the room, kneels down and zips the suitcase back up.
“Little one?” Kara queries, still holding onto Alex who had remained frozen, her chest still heaving slightly from her outburst.
Emma straightens up and lifts the suitcase by the handle. The unmistakable rattling of empty bottles fills the silence and Emma motions with her head for them to follow her downstairs.
The four women follow the blonde into the back room where Emma lifts the suitcase onto the coffee table and opens it, revealing it to be packed with mostly empty bottles.
Emma lowers her head and moves to her seat where Lily is already waiting for her. The dog’s tail starts pounding against the sofa, Emma gives her a small smile and sits. Making Lily immediately place her head on her lap and snuggles in. Emma yawns and rubs her eyes, clear fatigue is etched on her face.
“Good morning Emma.” Alistair softly greets her and Emma echoes his welcome back in her mind.
“Would anyone like a drink before we start?” Eliza offers, noticing Emma didn’t have one. “Sweetheart?”
Emma’s tired eyes lift up to hers and she nods.
“She would like an apple juice, please.” Fay answers for Emma and she signs her thanks.
Emma settles back and closes her eyes while she strokes Lily’s fur. She tries to block out the different conversations happening around the room but it’s difficult. Her mind races with shame with what the others must think and how she is going to explain herself.
“Here you go sweetheart.”
Emma opens her eyes and takes the glass of cool apple juice from her mom, nodding her thanks.
She sips the tangy liquid and glances over at J’onn. He nods encouragingly at her and she takes a deep breath in to calm herself.
They mostly walked in silence, enjoying each other’s company but they had also discussed how yesterday had gone and how they were both feeling. They even sensed how today’s session could be harder than the previous one, causing J’onn to vow to support her, whatever happens.
“So, are we all ready?” Alistair draws everyone’s attention and they stop their conversations. Alistair waits for them to settle before talking again. “Before we discuss what is in front of us, Fay and I were both able to detect you were all holding back yesterday. Which is understandable, however, this is a safe place where no judgement should be passed.” He glances around the room and everyone nods before focusing on Emma. “Emma, would you like to explain about the bottles?”
‘Do I have to?’ Her mind asks apprehensively.
“We won’t force you.” Alistair responds and Emma shifts in her seat, feeling uneasy.
‘No, I need to.’ Emma sighs heavily and looks up at the ceiling. Unable to look anyone in the eye. Lily sits up and watches her carefully, her head tilting to the side in concentration. ‘I started drinking after the breakup with Lena. A few here and there at Robyn’s, then when I went to Europe I had a glass with each meal. But it then slowly increased over time and I found myself having more and more. A glass became two, to half a bottle, to a full bottle, to many bottles. I can see now it’s developed into a problem and I’m sorry. I know you guys are being sober but it was like an itch I needed to scratch. It would help numb what I was feeling, so I’d have a bottle or two in the evening after everyone went to bed. I’m sorry.’
Emma scrunches up her eyes and feels Lily nuzzling her nose into her cheek, sensing her distress.
“Sweetheart? Can you please look at us?” Her Mom’s voice breaks, causing Emma to lower her head and slowly open her eyes. But instead of looks of shame or disgust, she sees expressions of compassion and understanding on everyone’s faces.
Emma’s worried eyes focus on Alex’s. She notices how troubled her sister looks. She tilts her head, asking Alex to voice her thoughts.
“Alex?” Fay voices out.
Alex bites her lips before finally talking. “I understand how easy it is to use alcohol as a means to run away from your emotions. But, we can help you overcome it.”
“If you want.” Kara adds quickly but Emma is already nodding.
“I’m also sorry that I searched for the bottles instead of asking you, I just-” Alex’s face is overcome with emotion and she sighs heavily.
‘It’s okay.’ Emma thinks and Alex sniffs.
“Due to the nature of the group we have sponsors within the DEO and meet separately. Lena and Alex suggested it and we all started together.” J’onn reiterates what he explained to her on their walk and Emma nods.
The room is quiet for a moment and Robyn lifts her hand. “Question.”
“Yes Robyn?” Alistair asks.
“How did the whole sobriety thing start? From what Emma told me, you all like your drink.”
Lena fidgets in her seat and plays with her hands. She looks timedly over at Alex, who seems to be silently communicating with her.
“Well, if you must know.” Alex begins telling Robyn and the others exactly what happened.

It has been over a month since Emma disappeared and Alex is sitting on her sofa in Sam’s apartment and nursing her fourth whiskey. She stares mournfully at her laptop on the coffee table. Despite her Mom telling her not to, Alex keeps trying to hack Emma’s devices to find her sister’s location.
“Where are you?” Alex whispers and takes a sip of her drink. Feeling the burn slide down her throat and course through her system.
The results ping up, making Alex feel a surge of hope. But the hope quickly drops when they show the word she is dreading: Inconclusive.
“Fuck sake.” Alex slurs out and slams the lid of her laptop down. She flops back onto the sofa and downs her drink. Tears prick at her eyes and she presses her lips together. Her gaze falls on the collage of photos on the wall, the beaming smiles of her family and friends. Her eyes land on Lena, pressed up against Emma and beaming at the camera. Alex’s blood starts to boil.
Without much thought Alex angrily stumbles to her feet and grabs her jacket. She hops on the spot to get her boots on but manages in the end. Alex storms from the apartment and punches the call button on the elevator. She taps her foot impatiently until she's down in the lobby where she's stomp outside to hail a cab. In no time she’s in front of Lena’s apartment and she raises her fist to pound on the door.
But the raven haired woman doesn’t answer, making Alex grumble and seethe as she can clearly see the glow of the lights coming from within the apartment.
“Hope, let me in.” Alex orders.
“I do not believe that is wise due to your heightened level of-”
“Hope, please.” Alex snaps and hears the whirl of the locks. The redhead quickly opens the door and searches for her sister’s ex.
Alex can’t help but notice Emma’s things still placed around the apartment. Her paintings, notebooks, instruments, clothes...
But what she can’t find is Lena, until she turns to the bedroom and notices the door is closed. Rolling her eyes she storms over but before she slams open the door, she hears Lena sobbing through it.
Her eyebrows furrow tightly. ‘Why is she crying?’
Sighing heavily, Alex knocks on the door and enters. The room is dimly lit and she spots Lena’s head poking above the bed, sitting on the ground next to what was Emma’s side.
Alex stumbles around the bed and makes her presence known by clearing her throat. She can’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for the raven haired woman as she jumps and stares wide eyed up at her.
“Alex?” Lena squeaks out, which Alex would have found funny if her emotions weren’t raging inside her.
“You broke her. I told you what would happen if you ever hurt her.” Alex grits out, she watches as Lena’s face crumbles and she lowers her head.
“I know.” Lena sobs out and clutches something close to her chest.
Alex slowly kneels down to face the distraught CEO. She frowns and notices the almost empty bottle of Scotch next to Lena. “What’s wrong? Why are you so upset? You are the one that ended it.”
Lena shakes her head. “I can’t.”
“Can’t what?”
But Lena just keeps shaking her head.
“Lena.” Alex places a hand on Lena’s shoulder, concern seemingly replacing her anger.
Slowly Lena holds her clenched fist out and opens her hand.
Revealing a ring with an emerald diamond.
Alex stares at it, dumbfounded.
“You- you didn’t know?” Lena hiccups as her bloodshot eyes study Alex’s reaction.
Alex shakes her head, unable to speak.
‘When was Emma going to tell me she wanted to propose?’ Her mind races as she tries to pinpoint any conversations she had with her baby sister but comes up blank.
“Where was it?” Alex asks softly.
“In her drawer.”
“Why were you looking?!”
“I was going to start moving her things out and I-” Lena says but her throat closes up with emotion and her head drops forward. More tears pour from her eyes and she clutches at the ring again. “I should die because of what I did.”
“Wow! Hey! No!” Alex says sharply, causing Lena to flinch when she grabs her shoulders. “Lena, look at me.”
Slowly Lena raises her head and stares sorrowfully at Alex.
“Yes I am really angry at you.” Alex grits out and lets out a deep breath. “But you aren’t solely to blame for Emma leaving.”
Lena shakes her head and starts to sob again, despite trying to hold them in.
Alex pulls her friend into a hug and knows there must be more that Lena isn’t saying.
But for now, Alex just holds her.

“Then Sam and Kara came over and we stayed with Lena that night. In the morning we both had killer hangovers and decided to be sober. Once we told everyone they joined us too.”
Robyn nods and Emma sniffs heavily. She wipes a tear away, hating the thought of how low Lena got.
“But?” Fay prompts Robyn, who does look like she wants to ask another question.
“Why are you all so chummy with Luthor when she broke Emma’s heart?” Robyn glares around the room. “Why not leave her alone after that?”
“Lena.” Fay says quickly and glances over at Emma, who’s looking irritatedly at Robyn. “Her name is Lena.”
Robyn sighs and juts her jaw to the side. “Okay, sorry. I’d like to know why Lena is still a part of your friendship group.”
“She’s one of us.” Kara says softly. “Despite what she did, we forgave her.”
Others in the group nod and a tear slides down Lena’s cheek that she quickly wipes away.
But Robyn’s frown deepens.
“I really wanted to hate her.” Alex admits darkly. “I really wanted to give her a piece of my mind, but then I saw how broken she was and in a worse state than me. In the end, I just couldn't hate her.”
Lena sniffs. “I know I don’t deserve the love and support they give me.”
Kara reaches out and takes Lena’s hand, giving it a gentle squeeze of support.
Emma watches and feels a pang of hurt hit her chest, but she quickly pushes it away.
“Robyn?” Alistair asks. “Do you have something else to say?” He nods, giving her permission to voice the seething thoughts in her mind.
“I still don’t understand.” The brunette says cautiously. “What about Emma?”
The Superfriends frown at the question, some even looking over at the blonde.
“What about her?” Winn asks.
“She’s one of you right?” Robyn shoots back.
“Of course!” Nia responds, shocked that Robyn would even need to ask that.
“So where were you when she needed you?”
“Robyn.” Fay utters as Emma tries to get her attention.
“No, they need to know what you did when you came to mine.” Robyn says fiercely, her fury mounting. “She spent weeks in bed and I had to prompt her to eat, to shower and take care of herself. When I finally got her up and out of the flat her clothes were loose on her.” Robyn seethes, glaring at the group. “And do you know what she communicated to me when I asked how she was? That she was okay if she didn’t think about it. That when she does she feels like she can’t breathe and it’s just too painful.”
Emma slumps forward slightly and rubs a shaved part of her hair to try and self soothe. She understands what Robyn is doing but she still feels awkward. Lily nuzzles into her, keeping pressure on her side and keeping Emma grounded while she continues to listen.
“I spent hours holding her as she cried over you guys, how you treated her and made her feel worthless. I tried to tell her you all loved her, but I’m not so sure.”
“What?!” Kara yells in anger.
“Where were you? When she needed you guys after everything that had happened? The cancelled sister nights, or games night or whatever you all do! You let her down! But then when she left you all rallied around Lena!”
“No we didn’t!” Nia tries to fight back, remembering how she had felt awkward towards Lena for weeks. Unsure where the line was and if they were taking sides but Robyn gives her a scathing look before she can explain that.
“It sure looks that way! I’ve been watching all of you and you treat her like she hasn’t done anything wrong! That she didn’t break Emma’s heart and make her believe it was all an illusion! From where I’m standing it makes it look like you’ve chosen Lena over Emma!”
“Robyn!” Emma’s husky voice barks out but she immediately starts coughing and wheezing. Causing the heated argument to pause while Emma tries to get a hold of her breathing again.
Eliza quickly gets a glass of cool water for her daughter. “Here you go Sweetheart.”
Emma takes it and signs her thanks before taking a few sips. There is a palpable tension in the air and she quickly tries to gather her thoughts. ‘I’m okay.’
“Thank you Robyn for your honesty.” Alistair nods in appreciation and sits up in his chair. “Emma? Would you like to respond?”
Emma nods and taps the glass while she continues to think.
The Superfriends wait anxiously and she can tell her sisters want to jump in.
‘I’m torn.’ Emma takes a deep breath in and closes her eyes. ‘I’m not going to lie and say this hasn’t affected me. I was relieved when Mom told me that Lena was still part of the group. But there was a part of me that felt disappointment. But as Kara said, Lena is one of us and I wouldn’t have expected anything less.’
Emma takes a few more sips and her eyes meet Robyn’s.
‘Thank you for standing up for me, I respect your opinion but it was also slightly unfair with what you said. You knew I ran away and made it impossible for them to find me. I understand how it looks, believe me. But, I also don’t believe it’s as easy as that. I mean, your balcony doors and walls took a huge beating from Kara when she tried to find me.’
Robyn opens her mouth but Emma motions she wasn’t finished.
‘I understand what happened made you dislike Lena. How broken I was and thank you so much for being there for me. But you need to understand how deeply I still feel for her, despite what she did. But I know I need to work on myself too. That I need to repair the bridges I broke-’
“No!” Alex interrupts causing Emma’s eyes to snap to hers. “We all caused the damage. The Superfriends were gathered around Kara’s coffee table for a games night. To start with they decided on playing Jenga while they waited for the pizza to arrive.
The tv was on in the background as Alex wanted to watch the news while Lena was currently trying to get a block out, her eyes were focused in concentration.
“You always go for the precarious ones!” Kara laughs.
“That’s what makes it more fun.” Lena says cheekily and grins at her.
But then her heart drops as she looks past Kara and sees Emma on the tv screen.
The tower immediately falls.
“Jenga!” Kara and the others yell.
But Sam grows concerned at her best friend’s pale face. “Lena?” She also turns to look at the tv and immediately unmutes it, causing everyone to gaze at it.
“-believed to be in London, although sources haven’t been able to confirm this. The music video, which shows Emma Danvers lip syncing, is believed to have been filmed in Egypt and was released at midnight UK time. Already we are seeing an outpouring of positive responses and speculation about who the song is about, which, I believe we can all take a guess at. Back to you in the studio.”
Alex quickly takes the remote and logs into YouTube to find the video. It doesn’t take her long due to it already being at the top of the most viewed list. She frowns at seeing the name of the song, ‘Perfect Illusion.’
The video starts playing and the sound of synths begin.
The camera zooms in on a blonde’s back as they stare out at the barren, white desert in front of them. Even from behind angle the Superfriends can tell it’s Emma.
The camera swivels around and focuses on Emma’s stoic expression.
Alex leans forward as she studies her sister’s face. Kara curls into Ben, hating the broken look in her sister’s hazel eyes.
Emma starts lip syncing perfectly to Robyn’s voice, something that is a bit jarring to everyone. To hear another voice timed with Emma’s lips.
Soon different camera angles flash up on the screen showing Emma stomping and kicking up the white sand around her as she continues to lip sync and perform. The sky continues to shift from a brilliant blue to the colours of sunset.
Lena stays frigid as she watches and listens to the lyrics. When the chorus begins, it breaks her heart in two.
‘It wasn’t love, it wasn’t love
It was a Perfect Illusion.’
The raven haired woman tries to hold it together but her eyes fill with unwanted tears and a lump forms in her throat.
When the song reaches the second verse the other members of the band are shown within the circular rig and moments of them playing in the warehouse too.
“I knew she was with them!” Lucy says exasperatedly and digs for her phone in her pocket while continuing to watch.
The second chorus hits and Emma is brokenly staring into the camera with tears streaming down her face. Her passion radiates from the screen.
“Wow.” Ben whispers out, feeling his heart being tugged at the utter pain being portrayed in Emma’s eyes.
Kara sniffs in his arms, wanting to bury her face into them but her eyes are fixed on her sister.
While the chorus proceeds, Emma lip syncs next to the band members, the camera angles tilt, representing her heartbreak and used to make the viewer feel uncomfortable with her.
The song builds and builds until the key change hits. At that exact moment Emma swings the baseball bat, bearing the words ‘FUCK YOU!’ at the camera where it switches to show her hitting a car and denting it like the metal was nothing. Glass explodes around her as Robyn’s vocals increase.
Alex lets out a slow breath as she watches the destruction happening on the screen.
“Super strength?” Brainy asks and Alex nods.
They watch as plates and glasses go flying and crash against the walls. Showing each member giving into their rage.
The final chorus begins and the intensity on the screen almost becomes overwhelming as the scene changes with flashes of light.
But near the end it shifts again and focuses back on Emma by an edge of a cliff. The sapphire sky is a stark contrast against the white of the sand.
As soon as Robyn utters the last words Emma falls heavily and rolls into the sand. Her face is pained as she voicelessly screams and sobs in the barren, white desert.
The music ends and the camera pans upwards towards the sapphire sky, the sound of Emma’s anguished breathing fills the room and the video ends.
The Superfriends don’t move or say anything, but continue to stare at the tv.
The silence is broken as Lena sniffs heavily and lowers her head into her hands. Her tears slip from her eyes and her curly hair shields her face from the others.
“Lee.” Sam utters quietly and slides off the sofa to comfort the raven haired woman.
Anguished muffled words sound out from Lena’s hands.
“What was that?”
Lena lowers her hands. “I did that to her.” She chokes out and a sob breaks through. Immediately Sam pulls her into a hug.
“I don’t think it was just aimed at you.” Alex says softly while she continues to stare at the TV. “We need to find her and fast.”
The others nod around her and the notion of a games night and pizza is forgotten as they race to the DEO.

“Then we searched through footage around London, trying to find a hint of you.” Alex explains, her eyes shining with tears.
‘That’s why you all appeared so quickly?’ Fay voices Emma’s question.
“Yes.” Brainy responds. “We were monitoring every security camera by major attractions.”
“As soon as the bus crashed through the barriers we suited up.” Nia explains and Emma nods.
Her eyes fall on Lena who seems fixated with her hands.
“So, question.” Robyn raises her hand again and glances at Lucy. “If you knew she was with me then-”
“Well, it was more of a hunch and you can’t plant bugs in someone’s home on a hunch.” Lucy shrugs and winks at the singer.
“Noted.” Robyn says softly. “But why not pursue it?”
Lucy swallows and her eyes flick over to Emma’s. “I wanted to. Believe me I wanted to catch the next flight to London, but I knew Emma needed time and I wanted her to come back on her own.”
Emma nods and signs her thanks to her friend.
“And Robyn, are you happy with their explanation about Lena?” Alistair asks and Robyn purses her lips forward.
“I guess. I mean if anything like that happened within my band, and we are as close knit as you guys, then yea. Happy, no, but I understand.”
“Good.” Alistair nods and gives Robyn a warm smile. “Are there any other questions relating to what has been said?” Alistair asks, opening the space to the group.
“I have one.” Kara says quietly and Alistair motions for her to continue. The blonde focuses on Emma, who can tell her sister doesn’t want to ask what is in her mind.
“It is okay.” Emma signs reassuringly.
“Did, I mean, were those words-” Kara says quickly but falters and goes to fiddle with her glasses. However they weren’t there as she had forgotten she hadn’t put them on today, so she ran them through her hair.
‘Did I mean them?’ Emma tilts her head, finishing Kara’s sentence for her.
“Yea.”
The room holds their breath, waiting for Emma’s answer.
‘I did.’
Everyone’s shoulders deflate other than Robyn, Alistair and Fay.
‘But that’s what art is.’ Emma tries to explain. ‘At that moment I was angry, hurt, upset and I needed to express it. The words and melody came quickly and before I knew it the song was there.’ Emma glances over at Robyn who nods, remembering how Emma’s pencil flew across the paper while she wrote the lyrics.
“It came from her heart.” Robyn says softly, focusing everyone’s attention on her. “Music is generally the same notes over and over, but it’s what you have to say that counts. And Emma chose to play out her pain.”
‘It’s just a moment in time.’ Emma adds.
“But do you still feel the same way?” Kara asks hesitantly and Emma pauses. Her eyes find Lena again, who slowly raises her head to watch Emma’s answer. She freezes when her apprehensive eyes connect with Emma’s.
‘I want to say no, but I’d be lying to you.’
“Which Emma is allowed to feel.” Alistair quickly interjects, feeling the build up of confusion and hurt in the room.
“How can we move forward and help you see we were wrong?” Sam asks while holding Alex’s hand.
Emma shrugs, unsure herself.
“May I offer a few suggestions?” Alistair injects and Emm nods. “You all experienced trauma that day, not just Emma. I believe doing group exercises, your film and game nights will help. Also-” Alistair pauses as he looks between the sisters. “You don’t need to do this right away, but Eliza told me the apartment where the attack happened is still empty. When you three feel ready, it might give you some healing to go back and make peace with what happened.” His eyes focus on Alex in particular who shifts in her seat.
The sisters nod in unison.
The rest of the session goes by quickly and soon the sun has set. They finish and say their goodbyes to the couple, offering for Lily to stay with Emma to help her heal.
“She has taken a great liking to you.” Fay smiles widely after hugging Emma. “See you soon.”
Emma waves goodbye and goes back into the house to eat dinner with her family with Lily staying close by her side.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the group joke and laugh as they eat. Afterwards the group decides to go down to the beach and build a bonfire to enjoy the crystal clear night. They sit and roast marshmallows while drinking rich hot chocolate.
Emma is listening to Winn, Kara, Lena and Brainy debate something sciency, but she cannot keep up with their discussion. However, she enjoys how passionate they are when trying to support their theory. Even if Winn gets overly exasperated to the point Ayla has to pull him back.
Emma grins and takes the last gulp of her drink before getting up.
“You okay?” Nia asks and Emma nods, motioning she is going to the water.
She stands by the water’s edge as it gently laps against the sand and takes a deep breath. Finally feeling like things could, possibly, get back to some normality. Although she still felt apprehensive about what the future could hold and whether things could repeat themselves again.
‘I AM YOUR DOOM!’
Emma flinches and frowns slightly at the monstrous voice that plays out in her mind and she remembers her dream from this morning. The same grotesque monster that demolished National City. But this time, it had destroyed her family as well.
Emma shivers at the memory, her sisters covered in blood, eyes fully dilated, staring at nothing. It had felt so real and she can’t help but feel a sense of dread.
“Hey.” Two voices greet her, making Emma jump out of her skin and slip on the sand.
“Wow!” Alex and Kara grab a hold of her to steady her footing.
“You okay?” Kara asks in concern and Emma nods, running a hand through her hair.
“We can go if-” Alex starts to say but Emma firmly shakes her head and pulls her sisters into a group hug.
They tightly hold onto each other and Emma places a kiss on their heads. Still not used to the new height difference.
“I love you.” She whispers, causing both of her sisters to tear up and Alex to lower her head.
“Love you too.” Kara responds back and sucks in her bottom lip. “Can I ask you something?”
Emma nods and Kara steps out of the hug while Alex clings to Emma, who rests her head against Alex’s.
“So, you said you still feel the same way? That it was an illusion?” Kara shuffles on her feet, worried about the answer Emma will give.
Emma takes a deep intake of breath and straightens up, allowing Alex to look at her.
She swallows and feels her throat, wanting to voice her words rather than sign them.
“I still feel- disappointed.” Emma whispers out and coughs. Kara superspeeds to grab a bottle of water and hands it to her. Emma nods her thanks and takes a few sips before continuing. “I needed you both and you weren’t there but you were for Lena.”
“I can see how that looks.” Alex says softly and steps back but keeps ahold of Emma’s hand. Seeing this, Kara takes the other. “I can’t say anything other than I’m sorry.” Alex begins. “You are my sister and you mean the world to me. I would never choose anyone over you and I’m sorry it felt that way.”
Kara nods in agreement. “Yea, I’m sorry.” Kara agrees. “But our love for you has never been an illusion. You’re our sister and we love you no matter what.”
Emma sniffs and her sisters pull her into another hug before they start heading back to the group.
“Oh and Mom wants to know your thoughts about New Years tomorrow.” Alex asks and Emma gazes at her questionaly. “If you wanna go to the party or stay at home.”
“Am I expected?” Emma asks and the sisters share a look, which Emma catches.
“Well the town knows you are here-” Kara begins and Emma nods.
“We can always go for a bit and come home.”
“Good plan.” Alex nods and squeezes her shoulder before they separate. Alex heads for Sam and Ruby roasting marshmallows and Kara goes over to Ben who is joking with Eliza.
Emma approaches Robyn, who hands Emma her new guitar to play. Emma grins and sits on a blanket, she softly strums the guitar while listening to the conversations around her. In time she stares into the fire and her eyes become unfocused and distant as she watches the dancing flame.
“May I sit here?”
A velvet voice says next to her, causing Emma to blink and look up to see Lena standing there with two steaming mugs.
Emma nods and passes the guitar back to Robyn, who gazes at Lena with less animosity than she had done.
Lena kneels down and hands her one of the mugs.
“It always amazes me how beautiful you make music sound.” Lena utters while making herself more comfortable.
Emma gives her a small smile and takes a sip of the hot chocolate. A moan escapes her lips from the velvety taste, making Lena smile and chuckle.
“I agree it’s good.” Lena takes a sip of her own before lowering her mug to her lap. “Can I tell you something?”
Emma nods and sits so she is facing Lena more.
Lena takes in a nervous, deep breath. “I understand your process of writing songs. You write from the depths of your soul and are able to connect with others. But please know, my love for you, it wasn’t an illusion. I just wanted you to know that.”
Emma lowers her head for a moment, unsure how she can respond to that.
Placing her mug on the ground she goes to sign.
“You broke my heart.”
“I know and I will regret it for the rest of my life. If I could go back and change it, I would. But I can’t. All I can do now is try to support you the best way I can. If you’ll let me?”
Emma nods slowly. “Maybe we can rebuild our friendship?” Her eyes fall to Lena's chest, where the ring sits, hidden by the raven haired beauties clothes.
“I’d like that.” Lena gives her a small smile and the pair focus on the fire in front of them. Content to sit in silence while laughter and jokes sound around them.

So! Some sort of good news (?).
As I said everywhere right now I am extra busy irl so I don't think I can write anymore new things (or if I do, I will write very slow) BUT
Ages ago I write (in italian of course) a "petty revenge" story that I think will trive on the international fandom of AO3, because this is the kind of story AO3 was born for (in fact, even in italian, this story has a boom of engagement compared to my other italian stories that... wow).
It is a dead!dove, of course. And the tale of "how was this atrocity born?" begin just right here on tumblr, when antis found me for the first time and I received threatening asks because I did the crime to tell people in english (my first attempt) that my otp is Severus Snape/Lily Luna Potter. They call me a ped0 and all of the names under the sun and I actually had a great laugh (the most funny thing was "I don't care if you say Lily Luna is an adult in your stories, in the book we see her as a child so of course you are a ped0" and the logic is so twisted I was in disbelief), but of course I am petty, so my mind went on "You want a ped0 story from me? You will have".
Don't worry, no Severus Snape in here (honestly you can thank god, I will never do something like this to him) because this is a story about the new gen. I recycle a silly idea I had in 2016 (being: "I want a story where Rose Weasley bang every male in the family", yes I know, but also I can not for my life write a p0rn without plot so I was missing the plot at the time) and added plot, context and angst. I ask myself: "What are all the wrong things I can put in there?" and that was my start.
Soooo back to the beginning. I asked a friend who transalte her fic in english how she does it, because I lack proper grammar and some other things, and she suggest me some tools... I proofread, of course, but maybe the english will not he the best (you can always suggest or correct me), BUT this is the occasion to unleash this monstrosity to the world, so stay tuned 👀
Also I put here a screenshot of the trigger warning because this is not a story for everyone and I don't want to traumatize random people so READ ONLY IF YOU CAN ACCEPT THIS. This is the most important thing to me.
This story will always be a giganormic "Fuck you" to the purity culture and also has feelings, so...

January TC Challenge
Day 1: Happy New Year! Any hopes for the new year? (TC or non TC related?)
I hope C and I will continue to keep in touch like we have done until now and that I get to see him more than once or twice this year 💀
Day 2: Do you have any nicknames/codenames that you call your TC? Do they have any they call you?
I call him C on here and he calls my normal name, which always makes me a little sad because he really likes giving people nicknames and even once said he’d think of one for me but never did, and he never once used my common nickname which many people do (even Incas Lily does).
Day 3: Describe the moment you knew they were more than just another teacher.
To be honest even on the first day we met him as the head of our programme, I suspected that he would become an important figure to me, just not to the extent that he ended up being. A week before we had our first 'talk', I was feeling particularly bad while at school and suddenly had an all-consuming urge to be hugged and held by either him or Incas Lily. I was near his office then and intentionally walked past it just to look at him. I didn't know why he suddenly carried so much emotional significance to me, but I just really wanted to talk to him – it's a little surreal that, just a week later, it happened.
Day 4: Do they decorate their classroom much? What does it look like?
He doesn’t have a classroom, but he decorates his office a little bit. Nothing too extra.
Day 5: What's the age gap? Did you ever think you would fall for someone that much older? Are you comfortable with the age gap?
14 years, which is fine, and it really feels like less. He once told me that he had always just talked to me like another adult, which was really, really nice.
Day 6: Describe the first time you saw/met them. How did you meet? What was it like? Were you automatically attracted or did it take some time?
I met him on the first day of school last year, he was new to our school and coming in as the head of our programme. He left a very good first impression with us; even though he’s not physically 'my type', I liked his energy and how reliable he seemed and the way he interacted with us.
Day 7: Do you plan on keeping contact with your TC after graduation? How do you plan on doing it? If you're graduated, have you kept in contact? How have you managed that?
I have graduated and kept in contact! We email back and forth once every two months or so now, and he is the only TC whom I actually feel good about keeping in touch with (i.e. he doesn’t make me hate myself every time I reach out, unlike with Incas Lily). He had casually alluded to us keeping in touch for a long time into the future, and I really hope he meant it.
Day 8: Is there something that tends to remind you of them? Like a sport, food, animal, etc…?
The main sports he plays always remind me of him, the niche shared interest that we have always remind me of him, and things to do with education also do because we’ve talked about it a lot.
Day 9: Do you have a memory you are particularly fond of with your TC? Any cute stories?
I have soooo many good memories with him I literally can’t choose. The three-hour talk we had the last time I saw him was easily one of the best. A more random cute interaction was when we walked up three flights of stairs together after one of our meetings, and we were just casually talking about food on our way, laughing and all; I loved walking together with him and loved the little conversation.
Day 10: Have you ever touched your TC? Like a hug or a brush of the hand?
Yesss we’ve never accidentally touched but we have shaken hands three times and hugged twice.
Day 11: How often do you talk to them? Do you talk to them outside of school?
Almost every school day from the middle of March to when we graduated, and now we email every one or two months. I’ve never seen him outside of school (except during our grad dinner ofc) but I guess our emails now are technically talking outside of school?
Day 12: Have you ever had any previous TC's? What were they like?
As this blog has documented, I have had many other TCs, but C is one of the only who had never taught me, and we got to have the closest relationship.
Day 13: If it were to happen, how do you imagine the perfect kiss going down with your TC? If by chance you have kissed your TC, how did it happen?
I don’t have strong romantic feelings for him and I adore his wife, so I probably wouldn’t want to kiss him. If it did happen, though, I would imagine it to have been at the end of one of our long talks. We’re both stood up after having casual and heartfelt conversations for an hour, and I’m awkwardly trying to thank him like usual, expressing how much everything he has done means to me. Maybe we’d fall into a short silence, and one of us would lean in to the other for a kiss, his hand gently on my waist to steady me, as natural and tender as a couple kissing goodbye.
Day 14: Do you truly believe there is a chance that they're interested in you? Has anyone else pointed out that maybe you're special to your TC?
I am special to C. I know it, and he has said things to that effect. He’s definitely not interested romantically, which I’m perfectly fine with.
Day 15: Have you ever gotten them a gift? If so, what was it?
I've gotten C so many gifts, mostly small snacks (and mostly chocolate) because he said he really likes food. At the end of the school year, I also gave him some things related to the niche interest that the two of us share, and he seemed really happy.
Day 16: If you're in their class, what are your grades like?
He doesn’t teach us, which is probably for the best since I’m pretty bad at it.
Day 17: If you had to pick one feature about them, physical or personality, what would be your favorite?
There is genuinely so much to love about C. The thing that first made him stand out to me was how much interest he showed all of us – he wanted to listen to our feedback, he wanted to know more about our lives, he wanted to share in our achievements and give us support where we needed it. I’m always drawn to teachers who seem like they really care.
Day 18: Do you know of anything they do outside of work? What do they enjoy doing in their free time?
He plays sports, walks his dog, listens to podcasts, spends time with friends, and I think he mentioned he occasionally games. Like, a person with a well-balanced life with hobbies and is happy and healthy??
Day 19: What goes on for you when you see them? How does your body react?
I didn’t tend to be nervous when I saw him (which was a good thing), it usually made me feel excited or comforted to see him. Sometimes I did struggle a little with our dynamic and my body would literally tense up when seeing him, but it didn’t happen often.
Day 20: What have you done, or what would you do, to spend more time with them? Join a club/sport they're in charge of? Sign up for an extra class they teach?
He doesn’t have the time to run clubs (and I suck too much at the sports he does anyways), but I did do stuff like sitting in on one of his workshops with a lower year group when he invited us.
Day 21: How often do you dream about them? What do the dreams usually consist of?
Maybe not as often as I would expect with TCs, but I remember dreams about him quite well. Before I left school it was usually some kind of twist on normal interactions, now I sometimes dream of being back home and seeing him again or being in the past. I dreamed that we were in a relationship two nights in a row a few weeks ago.
Day 22: What's a little detail you've noticed about them that you aren't even sure they're aware of? Do they run their hand through their hair often? Do they subconsciously bite their lip?
I don’t get to observe C as much as listening to him talk about himself, so I’m not sure about what he’s not aware of. I did find it cute that whenever he was trying to exaggerate with a number to make a point or just be funny, he often chose the same specific number.
Day 23: If they weren't a teacher, what do you think they should be?
Probably an athlete, but I think his goodness would be wasted in a professional sport environment – the same way it would for T and S, who are also both great at sport but are also both so much more than that.
Day 24: Do you think other people in your school may have feelings towards them too? Why?
On one hand I can’t imagine other students having romantic feelings towards him (even I, who have been attracted to no less than ten teachers over seven years, didn’t have much romantic feelings), but he’s just such an objectively good person. The absolute joy in his being, how reliable he is, his compassion, how he always listens and initiates conversations… It’s so hard not to love him.
Day 25: What are their classes like? Do they talk a lot? Is it mostly independent work? Are there a lot of notes?
I’ve never been in his class, and he doesn’t really teach a content-based subject.
Day 26: How would you describe their personality?
He's very extroverted, conscientious, logical, and organised. He really values building connections with people and can be a bit of a people pleaser (like me). He's really reliable and always finds solutions.
Day 27: What's the weirdest thing they've ever worn?
This is so specific- it was like a kilt, but a bad one, so it looked more like a picnic blanket draped around him, which was really funny.
Day 28: What's something you don't quite fancy about them? A quirk you find odd? A physical trait that you aren't a fan of?
This is just something that messed with my head a lot back when I was still quite unsure of our dynamic – when he greets students in the corridors, especially me, he almost never uses our names. Like, he definitely knows our names, but when other teachers usually say things like "hi [J]", he only says hello or morning, and it used to sound dismissive to me, as if he didn’t actually see me.
Day 29: How long have you had a crush on them?
Crush is probably not accurate, but I’ve had feelings™️ for almost a year now.
Day 30: Write a poem (short or long) about your TC.
I lost my ability to write poetry after T left :( I like to think that it died with him.
Day 31: Do you have anyone in your life who knows about your TC? Anyone you can talk to?
My closest friends know I was having those talks with C and that I have feelings, but probably not just how attached I am. For some reason, I think they feel a little more weird about my attachment to C than they did my crush on T and Incas Lily.

Very thankful for your posts about Tekken lore and such. I became a fan since T4/5 and I didn’t remember some things. Watching Bloodline certainly made me a bit confused due to some plot decisions but I'm glad you explained a few points. Do you think Jun will show up in T8? I think (or at least, HOPE lmao) that we see the Kazama side just like we saw the Mishimas storyline in T7. I also want more Xiaoyu, Asuka and Hwoarang but knowing Harada.. who knows. I remember the endings some characters got in T7 and I physically cringe 💀 like a few were so silly and.. unimportant. I just hope we have less of that in the next game.
And I am very thankful that you read 'em! 'cos sometimes I feel I just ramble like a madperson xD I dunno, I wanna say Bloodline would be good had it not made so many decisions that go against the series. Buuuut... honestly - as I've explained in posts before - even if it wasn't Tekken, it'd still be bad. It was still full of too many exposition scenes that just tells, not shows. Leaves no room for surprises. And it also has an issue with dragging some scenes out, whilst other, would've been interesting, scenes are rushed. (like most of the tournament.) Whilst I would never critique ppl for what they like - ppl can enjoy whatever as long as it's not harmful lol. But I still can't quite comprehend why ppl would enjoy Bloodline that much. It's not the best adaptation of the story, and even ignoring that it IS an adaptation and just viewing it as its own thing, it still does so many sins against story telling.
I do think Jun will show up in T8. There's a few reasons why I think this. Mainly because as I've been explaining in recent posts - the writers SPECIFICALLY mentioned she's not dead, but just "missing." I don't think they'd bother bringing this up if it's not gonna be used later on in the lore. Plus, many fans recently have been wanting her return. I also think she can really help with the Kazuya vs Jin issue - given that she's an important part of both lives.
I also made a post about the Kazamas playing a more important role in the story. (Here's the post if you're curious!) In Asuka's ending in T7, Lili SPECIFICALLY mentions that Asuka could be dragged into the Mishima mess due to her Kazama connections. This feels like it's hinting at Asuka, FINALLY, playing a bigger role. But I'd also take this with a gran of salt - because Eddy's T6 ending hinted at him being furious with Jin, and wanting revenge for his master dying after all. But then fast forward to T7 - that is completely forgotten, and instead Eddy becomes Lucky Chloe's bitch. It makes me soooo sad. Because while, yes, I'm relieved they dropped him being mad at Jin as T7 mentions he's just mad at Kazuya again. And I, too, want to forget T6 happened unless it's completely rewritten so it doesn't ruin Jin's character. But like... why do THAT to him? So I wouldn't be surprised if Asuka's potential is, again, forgotten.
Honestly, imo, Hwoarang, Xiao, and Asuka should've all played a bigger role. With Hwoarang and Xiao consistently being Jin's best friends - therefore, getting themselves involve in this mess. And Asuka having the power to repel the devil gene, finds herself useful as a weapon against DJ, and even Kaz. I had considered doing my own adaptations for the series - and which, I'd write Asuka usefulness being build up in T5, and then being extremely useful in T6. (since y'all know my blog - I state that it IS DJ who started the war, and went on with it - not Jin.)
But I believe I also critiqued that's one of the biggest issues with Tek so far. Is their humor. Whilst yes, I've always loved the Tek humor brand. I don't like it when my media is completely serious - I do like some jokes to lighten the mood. But back then, most of the jokes just came from obvious joke characters - such as the literal animals, or an old man who can barely move being a fighting character. But now they've gotten to the point where they'll turn ANY character who isn't directly a Mishima into a joke. It just gets old, and then in turn, gets unfunny. I really hope T8 has a more serious tone like T4 (which I'd say T4 was the most serious Tek game) and keep the jokes only to the more obvious characters - that being the animals, ofc. Let Eddy be serious again, let Paul be serious again, let Asuka be serious. Come on!

Hero and Leander Poem Analysis
DISCLAIMER!!!!!! I am not a professional in dissecting things like this because it's written very...Shakespearish? I don't even know the word for it. So if you do see something that I said and it's wrong, please correct me <3
Sooooo uhhhh Idk why I decided to do this but I found a poem by Christopher Marlow that is about Hero and Leander. But ya I am just gonna be going over the first part of how Leander is described and some things I noticed that might relate to our Leander! So strap in because this is also probably gonna be a long one~
(Also Yellow highlights will be vocab and red highlights will be descriptions)
Ok so if we look at the very first image, it tells us that Leander was born is Abydos and he had long hair(ARTIST NEED TO GET ON THIS NOW!!!!) and "unto Colchos borne" just means that if Leander did cut his hair, It would fall onto the land of Medea and the Golden Fleece. The Golden Fleece was a piece of treasure, and the word Golden is specific to Leander and the MC because when we show Leander our curse, he relates to us by saying "we match" while showing the pin on his coat that is Gold(Gold will be used A LOT in this poem). Now because the Golden Fleece we can infer that a lot of people would want to have their hands on is so by saying that if Leander hair had been cut, more of the youth of Greece would be attracted to Leander and want him more then the Golden Fleece. And then to further this emphases on his attractiveness, they name a women who whished that," his arms might be her sphere"(hugging her). Something interesting to note is that instead of saying hair here, the word Tress which as you can see in the image above, means a lock of woman's hair(which will be brough up later).
It described Leander's body as," Straight as Circes wand" Now what is special about this? Circe is a Goddess that practiced in the magic of Illusion and Necromancy. I think the Illusion does apply to Leander I just don't know how yet, I also saw some theories of Leander using Necromancy soooo....is this a coincidence??? Then it says that Jove, might have sipped nectar out of his hand. Now Jove being a God really says something about Leander if he would be willing to drink it out of his hands. And then you find out that Jove is actually the God of Jupiter which is also the God Zeus(they are all connected just have different names depending on the origin I believe but correct me if I am wrong). And Zeus is THE GOD, the ruler of all Gods. So for him to be willing to Drink from Leander's hand, a HUMAN hand, is really big.
(First off just want to say that White is used twice here I just forgot to highlight the first one, Gold and White will be used consistently throughout. I think that White is important because they are the color of the Lilys that Leander gives to us). It first compares Leander's solder to a nice piece of meat and then it talks about Pelops Shoulder that got....Eaten(idk don't ask me, Greek Mythology is weird) Also something that could also relate to Leander is this....
So I just wanna say that we Know that Leander is a beautiful young man and I think got resurrected and we know that Leander dies by drowing...in water...and we all know what Poseidon is the God of sooooooooooooo(they probs met in the water...Im just saying)Anyways, Then it just goes on in further detail on how attractive Leander is. Then with the Pen thing, I think Marlow meant that that he can describe men much less Gods so it will have to suffice that his muse(The 9 muses from Hercules anyone)talks about Leander's eyes. Then this was unusual to me because Marlow describes Leander's cheeks and lips as Orient which means the East. So at first I thought it was talking about Leander home town Abydos but Abydos is on the West...
And that would have to mean that Sestos(where Hero lives)must be on the East so maybe Marlow was saying that Leander's cheeks and lips were for Hero?????
Then Marlow talks about how if Hippolytus had seen Leander, He would be enamored by his beauty. Which would also be a very big thing because Hippolytus is known to be disgusted by sex and marriage(which is also ironic because we know that Leander is DEF not disgusted by sex)and also it talk about Aphrodite for a bit and who is Hero the Priestess of????(you can probs guess if you don't already know). Then says that Leander's beauty could melt the rudest peasant, So he is just really driving home how Pretty or attractive Leander is. Marlow talks about soldiers who would do anything for Leander just to get a favor from him and says that," he was a maid in man's attire, For in his looks were all that men desire." So I guess everyone just thought that Leander was soooo beautiful that he had to be a women because he was just too attractive.
Now just like the Gold and White that a brought up multipole times, Hand touching is also brought up a few times and obviously we can see the significance of this relating to Leander and MC…
The next thing is def sus and weird but I feel like goes along with how manipulative we all think Leander is because Leander wanted to get with Hero but Hero was a virgin and had to stay a virgin to be a Priestess for Aphrodite. But obvious Leander did not want this so he goes on a speech on how Virginity is just a concept(which I guess is true but its sill sus)and it does not really matter...
So ya, Leander is just telling Hero,' Hey like it does not really matter if you are a virgin or not so just get with me." Like ok....chill out dude. And then Hero rejects him and Leander continues...
It's giving what happens when we reject taking the flowers from Leander from when we first meet him.
Now this is just ironic so I figured I can put this here but I don't think it really relates because I don't see any bracelet on Leander(Poseidon gives this to him so it relates back to Pelops)...
Then Poseidon thinks Leander is also a Women???? Also I would like to note that on Leander’s belt, the shape represents the triple goddesses which are all very feminine in their descriptions so could this also relate to why Marlow keeps describing people thinking Leander is a women?
And upon Him finding out Leander is a man and not a women he gets upset a throws a weapon at Leander....
So Leander gets hurt and I am thinking that maybe that is what Leander's scar is from?????
Now I first want to talk about the white lilies because this is the flower that Leander gives us in the beginning...
ok now for all the other times gold and white are used if I count them, for white it is 13 and for gold it is 16, so ya, they are used quite a lot.
And then at the end, there is a toxic flower called Oleander, So it's very close to Leander's name and this is what I found when Hero saw Leander dead...
She shouts O, Leander soooooo is this why the flower is called that???

Wow, there's just soooo much going on... where do I start??
FLASHBACK: Okay, so like the whole thing between Lilie and baby-Kaito was so nice to see! We got to learn more about their personalities (at least, more of Lilie) and how they are next to eat other. I was getting a lot of Fruits Basket Kyoko & young-Kyo vibes during their entire exchange!! We have a younger kid whose worldview of things (is not so good) SLOWLY changes (just slowly tho because at the "present time", not much has changed except for that "one" thing) over the course of many meetings with the mom. Also, the mom imparts a very important message/life-sesson for them. I'm also willing to bet that the death of the mom also causes something very major to change, which results in future actions that make the audience go "NO! THAT'S NOT WHAT SHE MEANT YOU DUMMY!!" Pretty sure that whole thing, which applies fo FB-Kyo, fits the bill for CCS-Kaito.
+1 YUMEMI: Lilie joins CLAMP's group of Yumemi! They need their own LINE Group Chat or something, and I wanna know what they talk about LOL. I get that at this point, Kaito just views Sakura as a tool or means to an end (to achieve what he wants), but at the same time, I want him to witness (from Sakura) the same kind of resolve that Lilie told him about (re: how she reacts and acts while knowing the future)--that will make him like snap out of it a bit and be like "Oh. Oh, so that's what she meant that time when she said that..."
MOMO & THE QUOTE: And Momo! I'm so so curious about what she is really. What I'm understanding is that she's a being that all those higher-ranked magicians know about, and being the power-greedy people they are, no doubt they would have sought/fought to have greater influence/power to have control over (powerless) Akiho just so that they can get Momo's powers.
Also the quote! "You can never go back!" IDK, I still can't help but think of the CCS anime again when I think about this line. In the anime, it was a male's voice, which kinda debunked it being either mom's... could it be Clows? Aki-papa? Maybe Momo's true form?? Someone ever more greater/powerful in the magical... world???? I'm pretty sure that Ohkawa probably went over with voice director regarding that line, so it had to have been purposeful that they went for a male voice instead of a female voice... oh... the mystery.

and his small problem being a warewolf to keep secret
besides, remus has some high expectations even if he doesnt want to admit it

loving him and be understanding towards his little warewolf problem (if he tells them)
and most important, he may not have thought about his partner's gender as he was more going to focused on personality really, but still, remus would have liked a female partner
so, imagine his surprise when he caught feelings on a certain [hogwarts house] boy the same year as him?
remus was confused at first
he didnt know what he was feeling and his friends noticed it
remus didnt really want to confide with them, but he knew sooner or later, theyll find out eventually like how they discovered his secret
so, he told them his confusing feelings
and let me tell you, the three boys looked at him confused at first until they looked each other with shit eating grins
well, sirius and james have those shit eating grins while peter looked a bit excited at him
"guess potter isnt the only lovesick puppy huh?" sirius teased as the three began to laugh
until james realized sirius was saying he was a "lovesick puppy" towards lily, which immediately made him shout a unamused "hey! i do not!"
as sirius and james began to banter at each other and peter was trying to be the peacemaker, remus took a second to process what his friend just said
until the realization hit in and made remus red and stuttering mess
remus was in denial, to the amusement of his friends
he cant be!
he wasnt gay— not that being gay is a problem or anything, he never just expected him to be one
he didnt like [name] like that way, right???
he barely knew the guy!!!
remus was in denial for a few days until his friend had snapped some sense to him
by literally dragging [name] to their lunch table
they didnt care if [name] was in another house or not, they still dragged his ass over and made him sit next to remus who was having an internal breakdown
apparently sirius, james and peter decided to be remus' wingman, even if remus didnt want them too
but anyways
sirius, james and peter would ask [name] questions as they ate, wanting to getting to know their future buddy and trying to slip remus in the conversation
they thought they were slick at it, but nope!
they arent
"so [name]? watcha like to do?"
"oh, well i like literatur—"
"you know, our buddy remus likes books too!"
"really? thats nice. i also like chocolat—"

they were that bad
they werent subtle at all
remus is just internally suffering

remus was super embarrassed but to his utter surprise— [name] actually seemed to be down on visiting honeydukes with him to buy some sweets
of course, [name] didnt really think on it other than a friendly hang out (at first)
but to the three, this was the start to hook their beloved puppy remus to [name]
it took a while but [name] and remus' relationship grown closer and a few months, they finally got together
it almost took a year for them to realize their feeling for each other (remus and [name]) if it wasnt for that mistletoe accident in the greathall on christmas day
sirius and james were bragging that they were the ones to have placed those mistletoe there
but thats a lie
peter did and the two placed mistletoes in other rooms
peter was the smart one to put a mistletoe under above the entrance of the door while sirius and james literally decorated every corner of the great hall with mistletoe because apparently they thought it would made sure remus and [name] would kiss
and that james was also trying to get a kiss from lily under those mistletoes too because it was "romantic" and that itll make her definitely "fall in love" with him
but anyways, [name] was soft for remus and remus was soft for [name]
the two only have little bumps in their relationship but mostly, they try to understand each other and hear one another out
remus always liked their tradition on winter to cuddle in front of the fireplace in the gryffindor common room
remus prefers to be the small spoon but wouldnt mind cuddling [name] too
he likes to be held since he could snuggle and hear [name]'s calming heartbeat
of course those moments are sometimes destroyed by his friends inserting themselves to their cuddle sessions
but remus wouldnt have it either way
[name] doesnt mind aswell
it was annoying at first but over time, he grown fond of remus' friends
another sweet thing that [name] does that makes remus so soft is that [name] makes sure that he is loved
[name] seems to noticed when he is down and will always give him a soft peck on his forehead, embrace him tightly and mutter how much he is adored
[name] also doesnt questions on the scars he had obtained over his little problem
in fact, [name] just reminds him that [name] loves him so much

remus was terrified and thought [name] leave him
but this guy was so full of surprises
[name] was a bit shock and was quiet for a while, but then he just embraces remus tightly and running his hands over remus' hair and whispers he still loves remus no matter what

what have he even done to deserve [name]?
he doesnt know but he was happy to meet the guy who loves him, even with all his flaws
remus was sure [name] was the one and he hopes he'll get to be a [last name] in the far future

OLIVE HOW WAS THE HSMTMTS EPISODE??? I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR MORE OF YOUR THOUGHTS ON IT esp after yesterday’s callout you kinda died i missed your chaotic thoughts ✋🏽❤️
oKAY, SO HERE WE GO—
firstly, i loved the chaos that was both nini and ricky wanting to do the window serenade (even though if anyone were to ever do that to me i would get soooo upset. idk - i don't like big displays like that. i'm an introvert). but after that.... how they continued to miss each other..... it felt very contrived and was too much™.
i feel like, a lot of the time, hsmtmts wants to parody things while also balancing a sense of reality, but they take it a little too far and it messes with the tone.
like - two examples:
ricky and nini missed each other! haha, how funny. then they call each other and they're laughing about it and nini says something along the lines of "yeah, i've only had three nightmares about that lady in the window." and it's supposed to be for a laugh, but it just sounds.... passive aggressive? like, maybe it's the fact that ricky doesn't really laugh or the tone of nini's voice, but it just sounds like nini is trying to guilt trip him. the script is trying to extend the joke further, and it just doesn't work.
the second instance was when miss jenn was talking to lily. the circumstances and the lines are already a joke in and of themselves, and it would come off as funny with subtle or deadpan (like mr. mazzara) acting. but miss jenn is an Over The Top Character, so she pushes the dialogue, and it really just... made the scene less funny?
idk. hsmtmts really wants to be relatable™ while also being a parody™ and it's struggling to juggle the two. i haven't rewatched season one, so idk if it was a problem then, too, and I'm only now getting a little annoyed by it, but i have conflicting feelings over the genre of the show.
please tell me i'm not alone.
after that,
i love the fact that there are some cute romantic relationships in the show, but when shows add a romance, it always means that the side relationships and side characters get cuts on time because, in the mind of the show, a romantic relationship needs more screen time development.
and when you combine that with the addition of new characters (i love howie, by the way - keep him, please), some characters are getting the short end of the stick.
ej? he had like one (1) line. they introduce him in the episode and then completely sideline him. i........ just don't have him appear in the episode if you're not going to have him do anything?
and that brings me onto another thing!
what was great about hsmtmts season one was that..... the musical had plot relevance. a lot happened in the rehearsals, so it earned its presence. i love beauty and the beast but damn.... it's really kind of unimportant this season.
that rehearsal was largely unimportant - it was just an excuse to get the whole cast together.
the only character who the musical serves is ashlynn and i love her storyline! i think it's important, and it's one of the serious plotlines that is very sweet and endearing.
and speaking of characters i love and adore.... gina is the perfect character for this show. she feels real, and her blunders are totally relatable. she's been dipped in the river of chaos, but just enough. gina's energy is what the whole show wishes it had and honestly? i love that.
(they're also just juggling so much™ plot wise.... they could really benefit from slightly longer episodes. so much is happening. it's a fever dream.)
